• The Warriors of the Zodiac​

  
  People think they are just folktales, simple stories told from one to another. That these adventurers are nothing more than myths or legends. But these warriors, these heroes, are very, very real. They are twelve young adults each with a very special power. Under the guidance of Master Liao, they keep the world save from dangers. They help with local troubles, such as earthquakes and floods, but they are also sent away on missions. Sometimes alone, when one specific power, skillset or mindset is required, sometmes in small groups, or even all of them together.
  
  Now there is a new threat: The Scroll of Raju. It is an ancient spellbook that comes with the instruction on how to set free Raju. Raju is a diety of unknown powers that could destroy all of humankind, all the planet in a blink of an eye, if he so wishes. Lesser known is the subscript of the Scroll that gives way to the Amulet of Raju. The Amulet giving the one who wears it the power of Raju. Of course a weaker version, but in the wrong hands it could still be disastrous. The Warriors of the Zodiac are called together and through a series of challenges and missions they must find the Scroll of Raju and the Amulet, before it falls in the wrong hands... But of course such a powerful Scroll is no easy task to find…

• The Rat - Blood bending
  The Rat is the one who scurries when it's in dangers, but no true warrior should underestimate the size of this warrior. The spirit's true power is that of blood-bending: the ability to control other people's bodies. This power asks that the user conserves it as if used unwisely, it will have its blood come from the nose and eyes before fainting into a deep sleep.
  
  The Ox - Earth manipulation
  Ferocious and Tall, the Ox, is the power that drives fear and awe into onlooker's hearts. This can be said about the warrior; whose power is of the mighty earth beneath its feet. From causing earthquakes to lifting the ground to the skies, it is the example of the true power of Nature. The warrior is also known for their brute strength, carrying boulders as if it's just a tiny pebble
  
  The Tiger - Fire Manipulation {Taken by Veil}
  If you were lucky to see the Tiger and come back alive to tell the tale, you would remember the fire in its eyes. The warrior has the same eyes and power as the ferocious beasts, burning its way to the body and hearts of its unfortunate victims. It's a power that can only be given to ones who are careful and understand the consequences of misused power.
  
  The Rabbit - Airbending
  Known to be quick, it doesn't give anyone a chance to gets its hands on it. It represents the mighty wind up in the skies. Not only can this warrior manipulate the winds of the earth and blow its enemies away, but it can also run as fast as a rabbit. It gives nobody a chance to catch it, nor an opportunity to dodge.
  
  The Dragon - Vitality Manipulation
  The Mighty God that watches over everyone, it is given respect and in return gives the people what they want. This warrior represents the dragon; its powers are of repairing anything and everything out of thin air. It truly deserves the respect it gets from the people, for as much as the Dragon can heal you; reversing the healing is just as easily done.
  
  The Snake - Water Manipulation {Taken by Darkius}
  Slick and smooth, it is like moving water in the land, with its only trail being of one single line, like water. This warrior can manipulate the water at their will; drowning some into its cool mighty touch, while bringing in relief to ones who crave for its cooling, nurturing touch. While it can heal, it can also destroy.
  
  The Horse - Emotion Manipulation
  While big and tall, it is the nurturer for humankind; as well as it's most reliable transportation. But it's not just transportation; it can heal the souls of their companions and everyone around them. The warrior that holds the spirit of a horse can use Reiki to heal the souls from negative energy and get the individuals back on their feet. Of course, some people can reject it, but most of them will come to the horse for its spiritual healing
  
  The Goat - Astral Projection
  The Goat, being the greatest resource for humanity, is known to not only be the protector but also can sense danger a mile away before it truly begins. The Warrior of the Goat can use Astral Projection to find any intel of danger, and retrocognition to find any clear sign of danger that is possibly within reach of itself and their allies.
  
  The Monkey - Gravity Manipulation
  The Monkey is known by most for its tree-climbing abilities, and for their likeness and intelligence to fit that of humans. But unlike humans, they maintained their sixth senses. This intelligence gives the brain the ability to move things at its own will, to adjust the center point of gravity and even the force of it. This is what makes the Monkey truly the best climber of all.
  
  The Rooster - Dream/Illussion Manipulation {Taken by Thorspuddingcup}
  The Rooster is known to wake up and help everyone start their day. But the Rooster does just more than wake someone up. The Warrior of the Rooster can enter someone's dreams and manipulate it however way they want, or their nightmares and get them through the night. They can use this to get to know one persons true desires or their inner fears. The Rooster can create the prettiest Fata Morganas or bloodcurling horror images with just their imagination and make it all seem way too real.
  
  The Dog - Animal Manipulation {Taken by Darkius}
  A companion, a sibling, a co-worker, and a great supporter. The dog is humanity's true partner. The Warrior of the Dog can talk to and communicate with other animals, as if the animals themselves speak the warrior's language. Even though small, this ability can do a lot of damage to its enemies without no warning.
  
  The Pig - Electricity Manipulation {Taken by Veil}
  Pigs are known to be very protective of their young and their homes. This is not different for the Warrior of the Pig, with electric force fields they will try to protect and aid their fellow Warriors as much as they can. However they can just as well at the front line and lead the attack to whatever thread there is with their chain lightning. The Pig is certainly not a coward.
  
• Are they the only Warriors of the Zodiac?
  No, they are not. These Twelve are the Warriors of Shangshu (which can be compared to Asia and the Chinese zodiac). There are also Warriors in Etraybia (Europe, based on western zodiac), Putriona (Oceania, based on Dreamtime zodiac), Philav Chal (North America, based on native american zodiac), Nasha Chal (South America, based on the Entomozodiac), Ushmein (Middle East, basted on Arabic zodiac) and in Snuodan (Africa, based on the African zodiac)
  
  Is historical accuracy mandatory?
  No, not at all. This is a fantasy world. It is only based on the same society and technology of late Heian and early Kamakura period of Japan. There are also influences from other (asian) countries around this time period.
  
  Do the Warriors have to born at a specific date?
  No, it is unclear how the Warriors are selected by the Zodiac. They do not need to be born in the year (or month) of said Zodiac.
  
  What about their powers?
  Their powers are only manipulation powers of what is already there. They cannot create any material out of thin air. They have had their powers from the moment they are born, but this doesn't mean they have used or been aware of their powers from that moment on. Some may have only recently found out about them, thanks to master Liao, others have been toddlers when they first used them and trained it their whole lives. That is all up to you.
  
  I want to play the Rat, but I want to have ice powers. Is this possible?
  Sadly no. Ice powers would fall under water manipulation. So the signs and their powers are pretty much locked. I am however open for small changes, but please discuss this with us in PM. And please be aware that we might say no however cool your idea is.

  Distant ~ Master Liao likes to keep his distance from most people to make sure he can keep a clear judgement. Not getting attached to others seems to be the best in his line of work. Though he cares deeply about his Warriors, those who are with him now, those who have been with him, and those who still will come to him.
  
  Responsible ~ He would be the last person to shove his own mistakes onto someone else. He knows when he slipped up and he will not hesitate to take responsiblity for thatl. He expects the same attitude from his Warriors and can give them quite some trouble if they fail to do so.
  
  Loyal ~ He would give own life for his own Warriors if things would make a turn for the worst. Their secrets would die with him.
  
  Guarded ~ Because of both his heritage and line of work he can be very guarded about letting anything personal slip. Furthermore he is always watching his back to make sure no one will try to sneak attack him.
  
  Alert ~ He is always keeping an eye on his surrounds. Not a detail will escape his attention. He will even notice the slightest shift in a conversation. Nothing that the Warriors do or say goes without him knowing, even if he may not be present.
  
  Patient ~ Master Liao is a very patient male. After all he is immortal and has all the time in the world. Furthermore he knows that things take time and will come in time.
  
  Orderly ~ Master Liao likes things to be ordered and neatly. He hates leaving a mess behind and will always make sure everything looks spotless. He tries to teach the Warriors to be the same. An clean place means a clean conscience.

• The Rat ~ Choi Su-Jin
  He is happy he was able to give her safety, even though he was pulling her into a very dangerous life as well. At least this time it was her own choice to do so. He is worried about the way she uses her power, but even with sending her to the Dragon multiple times, she has never changed her ways.
  
  The Ox ~ Chih-Ming Shen
  Very diligent as expected from this warrior, but at times he takes a bit too big of a bite. Yet he has been with them for a short time, so he is still a diamond in the rough. With his persistence and motivation, the Master is sure that in time the Ox can become a very strong warrior and the man he wishes to be.
  
  The Tiger ~ Bohai Tang
  Hot-headed and loud on the outside, but very caring and sweet inside. The Master feels like he is least connected to the Tiger. He hopes to one day be able to help the Warrior with the heavy guilt he carries, which may be the key to a better control off his powers. Yet to get there, the male will have to accept the help and that may take a long time.
  
  The Rabbit ~ Fuyuki Usagi
  Beautiful young and powerful lady. It was amazing to see her grow up from that mute and fearful child to the woman she is today. He knows he is not allowed to have favourites, but the Rabbit might just have a special place in his heart. That being said, his treatment of her is no difference from the others.
  
  The Dragon ~ Ume Yoshikawa
  Very skilful in her powers, but she definitely needs some work on her social skills. Often he had tried to make her see the importance of working together with the others and how each Warriors is equal. She seems to have turned around a bit in the last years, but he knows there is still a lot of work with the high and mighty Dragon.
  
  The Snake ~ Yeong Tang
  At the start, he sure had his worries about the smooth talker, but the Tiger seems to be good to keep him in check. Besides the Snake himself, isn’t too stupid either. While he does cause some trouble here and there, it is nothing he had not been able to solve. Nor does the Snake ever run from responsibility.
  
  The Horse ~ Tsuda Miyoko
  He sees a lot of himself, from when he was younger, back in the Horse. He is happy to be able to provide her with a purpose in life again, along with a home and hopefully a group of friends.
  
  The Goat ~ Zhou Lei
  Heavy power that she deals with very nicely and delicate. As a person she definitely is a force to be careful off. Not someone that is easy to fool, which he was very aware of when she questioned him to the bone on their first meeting and did not hide her scepticism.
  
  The Monkey ~ Yuan Zhi hao
  Definitely a very interesting personality to have around. His powers during training even managing to throw off the Master from time to time. A wild spirit, but the Master never questioned his loyalty and the goodness of his heart.
  
  The Rooster ~ Xiao Xinya
  A very talented and calm soul. Social he still needs some work, but he knows that being with the other Warriors, definitely the more outspoken ones, will help. His powers not an easy one to master, but the Rooster seems to find interesting ways to make it work.
  
  The Dog ~ Hiroki Nakano
  His most trusted right hand. A task that the other has taken up without complaint.
  
  The Pig ~ Ban Mou Yan
  The newest addition to his Warriors. He sees a lot of potential in the Pig, and knows that his heart is in the right place, even if his actions may not always be on the ‘right’ side. However, he is also aware that the Pig will need a lot of time to settle in, not just to figure out his powers, but also to see if being a Warrior is truly something for him.

  Helpful and hardworking
  Hiroki is a very diligent male. He doesn't mind putting effort in something and likes to help out people. Whether this are stangers or close friends, he tries to help everyone as good as he can. He can be a tad bit overprotective, definitely of those he cares about. He is also someone who is always ready to sacrifice himself for someone else, definitely those who are innocent or those who mean the world to him.
  
  Loyal and docile
  He is loyal to the bone. He would never betray those he cares about. If you have his word, you can rest assured that he will keep his promise. He has a strong feeling of justice and would never go against what he feels is honorable or just, no matter what is at stake. Yet authority can easily influence him and even slightly brainwash him into seeing things differently.
  
  Truthfull and trustworthy
  He shall hardly ever tell a lie to friends, even if the truth may be painful. He believes that being honest and true is one of the greatest virtues there is. Yet that doesn't mean he can tell the most beautiful lies there are in order to keep people safe. He has a great eye for detail, which helps him to never get caught within those stories he makes up.

  Despite being very friendly and seemingly open, he has a hard time letting people in. He seems to always be on his guard when it comes to his personal thoughts and feelings. • Hiroki grew up as the oldest son to a simple farmers family. Two years after him a second son was born, quickly followed by a third one a year later. They lived rather peacefully., never had it bad, but they were not swimming in richness either. They had enough to live from, they had a house big enough to hold them all and beds to sleep in. However when he was eight, that all changed when the crops had gone bad... The harvest was just enough to feed them and on top of it his father had become ill. He did what he could to make up for that loss, but being just an 8-year-old there was not much he could do...
  
  One day in town, trying to exchange the few crops they had for some bread and meat, he heard that they were recuiting for young boys to help at the stables. After listening some more, he figured out that the payments that would be more than enough to help his family. Every month they would be paid a little bit, yet enough to help them buy the food and other stuff they needed to survive this horrible harvest. Not thinking much of it, he went to add his name on the list, only to be laughed at because of his young age. Disappointed he went home, yet determined to ask every day until they would accept him.
  
  After a week of going back and forth, he finally got his wish granted. He got his little sack of coins and some time to say goodbye to his family. Yet, he didn't dare to say anything at home. He just silently let the money behind the next morning, before slipping out of the house to never come back. He would be one less mouth to feed, and one less life to worry about for his parents. Though he made a promise that one day, one day he would return and he would make all the worries of his family go away. With that in mind he started his life at the stables.
  
  Work was hard, it was too much for an 8 year old really. Yet he didn't give up, he didn't give in. He did everything to keep up with boys that were 4 years older to him. He had to prove himself over and over again, often shut out by the older boys. Yet Hiroki didn't mind as he found friends with the horses and the stable cats. And the closer he became with these animals, the more things he started to notice. He became better in reading their body language, and it seemed like these animals really listened to him. Even the birds that came for only a few days, and the rodents that had to hide from others.
  
  Years he worked at the stables, every month dutiful sending most of the money that he earned back to his family. Many of the other stable boys had gone, given up on their tasks, yet Hiroki had stayed. After all he couldn't leave his friends behind as he had discovered a way to talk with animals. Yes, he had noticed he could really talk with the animals he took care off. However he made sure to keep that a secret. With him becoming older and one of the most loyal workers he was allowed more freedom. He didn't have to stay in the stables anymore, he was free to roam through the buildings. And that is how he found what would soon be his new destiny.
  
  They were so graceful and skillful, so elegant and brave, every free moment he spend watching the trainings of those young warriors. Hiroki took it all in as he secretly trained in the stables when others were not around or fast asleep. The cats and birds would every now and then help him by stealing little things, small weapons, things like that. It wasn't until he was welve that one of the warriors found him training in the stables. Again he was laughed at, and perhaps they just wanted some entertainment for themselves. Still he was allowed to follow lessons, as long as he could made sure to have all his work done in the stables.
  
  It was an exhausting time, yet he managed to juggle all his tasks as well as becoming skilled at archery. Despite the laughs, the trained warriors became quickly aware of how much they had underestimated this male. And at the early age of fifteen he was already deemed ready for the saddle. The bond he seemed to have with his horse was unbelievable and within months, he made his way up the ranks to an equal level of those who had been trained all their lives.
  
  He was fifteen when he was send out for his first mission. A group of bandits had been terrorizing the small villages and needed to be stopped. As far as they knew the group of bandits was no more than six to ten persons. So a group of six of them should have been enough. Unfortunately the information seemed to be false, something Hiroki quickly found out due to listening to the forest animals. He didn't waste time to inform his higher ups, the general that was leading their attack. Yet the general ignored his words, playing it off as simple Rookie fear. And there was no way that Hiroki could show the truth in his words. The six of them were ambushed and though they fought bravely, they were no match against the twenty five bandits in waiting. Had they been fully trained and aware of the threath, yes perhaps. But not this way.
  
  Two of his friends, his fellow warriors, were brutally killed before his eyes. A third warrior they lost at the training camps, his wounds too much to heal for the medics. He had lost too much blood already. Yet the story of Hiroki trying to warn the General traveled fast, and the rumors grew just as fast. How could he have known there had been more bandits than they had estimated if he had not been a part of them? He had never been truly one of the warriors any way.... He ignored the stares, the words, the hushed talking. He just kept his head low and kept training, perfecting his aim, his skills, everything for when they would have their revenge.
  
  It came not much later. A few weeks tops. Finally the warriors had their victory and the villages and travel routes were save. All rumors regarding Hiroki were silenced and forgotten, yet still it had been decided to send him off to a different station. One where he would be able to train more, learn more. Yet also a place he would no longer be able to keep an eye on his family. Even though he regretted that, duty called and thus he accepted to be send away. His horse being the only thing he was able to take along.
  
  He never knew how master Liao had found him, probably through the many stories that went around about the warrior than once had been nothing more than a stable boy. Yet none of that mattered. It had been at his 16th birthday that master Liao had found him. The offer was glorious and just, yet without hesitation Hiroki had turned it down. He was loyal to his masters and generals. But as he was mocked throughout the day, for being the stupid farmer boy, his decision was made. At night he rode out, using the birds to locate the master that had approached him. He did not need to explain himself as he reached Master Liao, who seemed to be waiting for him with tea, despite the late hour.
  
  Now 19 years later, Hiroki has never left his Masters side, always ready to go where he is needed.

  Bajutsu: military equestrianism that teaches both in riding, mounted swordfighting and mounted archery, it also focusses on the connection to the horse and caretaking of them.

  His Horse
  Though he can ride every horse he wants (even the most untamed ones) his black stallion, Ikari, will never be far... This animal is trained for battle and he does not really like strangers around him. He can be wild and seemingly untamed when Hiroki is not around.
  

  

  
  
• The Rat ~ Choi Su-Jin
  He made sure to help her get settled, just like he had done with the Rabbit. She seemed to be rather fearful and unsure as first as well, so he tried to make her feel welcome and at home. By now she is a dear friend of him.
  
  The Ox ~ Chih-Ming Shen
  A very physical being and rather blunt and brash. Though he is kind and friendly and a very hard worker, even after a year the Dog still doesn’t really know how to deal with him or what to think of the Ox.
  
  The Tiger ~ Bohai Tang
  Bros for life. They have bonded over their love for animals, and he often comes around to help with the strays that the Tiger has picked up. When they are together at the House, he often feels like they are some kindergarten leaders. Definitely now that the Snake and Pig are teaming up, with the Monkey bouncing and taunting around them.
  
  The Rabbit ~ Fuyuki Usagi
  It feels like she is his little sister. Both because they have been so long together, but also because she was still so young when they met. He treated her like he had treated his own sister, helping her with finding her voice back to the warrior she is now.
  
  The Dragon ~ Ume Yoshikawa
  He is rather neutral towards her. He is used to being treated and seen as lesser, so he shrugs that off. He doesn’t understand why she is so self-serving while she has such a helpful power for the good.
  
  The Snake ~ Yeong Tang
  Tolerated, yet he tries to evades the males tricks as much as possible. Especially one on one, he feels rather uncomfortable around the smooth talker.
  
  The Horse ~ Tsuda Miyoko
  Though he loves her personality, he is wary of her powers. Yet he cannot deny that having her around always brings a certain calm, even at the most stressful times.
  
  The Goat ~ Zhou Lei
  He is rather cold towards her. Her manipulative behaviour and guilt tripping side makes him rather cautious of her. Even though he sees how bad she feels about doing so. His distance is also kept for personal reasons due to the loss of the previous goat.

  Smooth and Charming
  Yeong is quite a charming man. He knows how to dress himself, and he certainly is aware that he is nice to look it. He can, and will, abuse this fact when he has to, but only to get himself out of trouble or loosen up tongues in a nonviolent way. He would never do this to intentional make some fall in love with them, just to break their hearts. Even if he is often perceived as a player, or even a boy toy. Despite his charms and talks, he doesn’t nearly have as much experience in the bedroom as most people think.
  
  Sassy and Sarcastic
  No matter what situation or whom he is talking to, Yeong always has a reply. He likes to throw off people with his sarcasm and humor. He doesn't even mind making jokes at his own expenses, however rarely ever does this. It is very hard to shut him up, since the Snake will always have the last word. Besides he knows how he can hurt people with his comments every now and then, so he just assumes other people do not mean their stingy comments. • He was born only four minutes after his brother, and yet on a totally different day, which made him a completely different child. Where his brother was big and loud and rowdy, he was small and quiet and docile. He didn’t cry much, he slept through his nights, he didn’t fuzz, he didn’t kick… he was the baby most parents would have wanted with his enchanting brown eyes and perfect behavior. Even as a young child he knew just what to do to get that extra cookie, or get out of trouble, or pry that one toy from his brothers fingers. Yet on the other hand he also was the one who knew how to comfort and calm his brother, how to make him smile through his sadness and to calm him from his anger. Their powers showing in the form of their behavior already, for they were like fire and water and like water Yeong knew how to kill his brother quick temper.
  
  Their family never had much, but they had each other and they were brought up with love. Lots of love. However when they were around twelve, disaster struck their family. They gotten the message that their beloved father had died. Heart attack, the doctors had said, from working too hard. Their mother tried to do whatever she could, taking double jobs, turning every coin five times before spending it. Yet there were days she could not give them three meals a day and those days became slowly more frequent over the year that followed. So frequent that Yeong noticed his mother losing weight, giving up her own meals to feed them and he would sneak back food to her bowl if he thought she was not looking. Though the young male knew that was not enough and thus he went out on the streets to see how he could help.
  
  Eventually he came across a place called Hidden Orchid (숨겨진 난초) where they were hiring males. He informed at the desk, easily convincing them that he and his twin were old enough, before he finally dragged his brother along with him. It started as an easy waiters job, yet the longer they worked there, the more they were worked into the job of a Taikomochi. Entertaining guests, storytelling, drinking with them, joking with them and everything became an everyday thing for them. Yeong had no trouble with bringing in customers and keeping clients, while also building up some regulars of his own, guests that paid extra to just be entertained by him. Around this time he also learned to fully control his power over water, something he had actually found out at a young age but never told anyone but his brother. He used it as a way to entertain, saying it were simply parlor tricks, and like a real magician never giving away the secrets. His name became familiar, and with that his group of customers only grew and he had become a specialty from the Hidden Orchid.
  
  At sixteen he was inked. It was not about being owned by the place, it was merely product marketing. Everyone who saw that tattoo would know he worked at the Hidden Orchid and thus would come to the establishment. It also was a way to make sure rivaling places could not give him a nicer offer, so two birds with one stone. Private parties had become normal for him, he hardly ever walked the main floor, unless he was specifically requested there (for a certain price). And with that development rumors started to float, rumors about him doing the usual stuff that happened at private parties in back rooms. And like that he had caught the interest of their landlord. An old male who had been known for eyeing younger boys and who had more than once made his moves on him. At first Yeong denied him, but soon he heard his mother complaining their rent price had went up for some reasons. And after a few months, he gave in.
  
  For some months it went quite well. The landlord only requesting a bit of touching, stroking, kisses. However his demands became more sexual, lap dances and stripping, became part of their meetings and by the time he was 18, blowjobs had become part of his form of entertainment as well. At first one blowjob on rent day equaled not having to pay any rent. Yet that became two blowjobs… and then weekly… and then only enough for half of the rent. However Yeong kept refusing to go any further. For some time the landlord accepted that, until he came back more persistent than before. He would wait him up after work, follow him in the alleys, until Yeong saw no other option than to involve his brother. His twin picking him up when he was done, making sure he was never alone on the streets and the landlord backed off again.
  
  A few months after their 19th birthday the landlord was back full force again. And on one specific night, he had been able to call it in early night. Yeong decided to just risk it, arguing that the landlord was probably not aware of it. However nothing was less true when two alleys further he was suddenly grabbed and pinned against the wall. His throat was squeezed tight in order to stop any screams and any sounds coming from the young male. There was nothing to defend him with around and he only vaguely remembered the self-defense lessons they had had for their job. He didn’t really think as he just suddenly hit towards the others throat, making the landlord stumble backwards. Yet the other recovered quickly grabbing again and pinning him again as clothes ripped. Panic and fear taking over as he tried to strike where he could, but he was no match to the older, and bigger, male. And he probably would have never been, had his brother not come to his rescue.
  
  Neither of them had noticed a second old man watching them. And that same old man came to talk to them a few days later, revealing they were the Tiger and the Snake of the Zodiac. Two forces so unlike of each other, and yet joined by birth. Yeong did not think as he more or less immediately accepted the offer. He had made the promise to himself to make sure that he would never feel as helpless and powerless as in that alley with the landlord, and Master Liao was offering him the possibility to achieve that goal. He spend long days training, working out, trying all kind of different martial arts until he had found the Eagle Claw Techniques quite fitting. Quick attacks, yet mostly meant to defend and to disable an opponent without doing serious harm. He learned to use his control over water for more than just cool looking tricks. He even learned how to use the skills he had picked up from being a Taikomochi for all those years in benefit for the Warriors. He could spend hours at bars, just talking and entertaining people to find out information for the Master, about trouble, about other possible warriors. And every now and then he still goes back to being a Taikomochi, yet only on the main floor and no more private parties...

  Taikomochi: the entertainers of a party, who ensure that the guests have a fun time at the party by telling jokes, telling erotic tales and acting out skits, playing games and drinking sake. Yeongs reputation included that he did more erotic stuff as well, but most of this is rumor.

  He is still rather unsure in his opinion of her. On one side she reminds him a lot of a mother, on the other side her need for routine and her discipline make him want to distance himself from her. So it is a lot depending on his mood whether he likes to be around her, or rather avoids running into her. On top of that, when he is around her his mood always seems to swing with the slightest set offs.

  Jokester ~ Pig likes to play jokes and keep the world at a distance using humor. If the situation gets too tense, or the topic turns to Pig's past, he quickly jokes and changes the subject. This also means Pig enjoys playing practical jokes and giving names to his fellow Zodiacs. Oddly enough, he never tries to prank the Master, feeling a deep sense of loyalty to the man who saved him from prison.
  
  Surprisingly Empathetic ~ Pig knows what it is like to suffer, and he can be compassionate about the plight of others even though he mostly pulls pranks. Pig would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you really needed it, and while he is primarily a jokester, he can become deadly serious if the suffering of another is involved. Surprisingly, Pig rarely stole for himself, usually giving it to the Thief Lady, or after he left her service, finding a good cause. He only kept what he needed to survive.
  
  Guarded ~ Any attempts to learn his background are met with stony silence or a quick joke, depending on his mood and the mood of the room. Pig keeps his past to himself, preferring not to bring it up. Having that accepted by the Master is part of why Pig stays. While Pig is happy to share a smile and a jar of sake, he never delves into anything serious unless it is with a very close friend. Pig learned a long time ago at the hands of the Thief Lady that letting people get close is just another person who can bleat to the guards about what you've been up to.
  
  Alert ~ After years on the streets, Pig's eyes are sharp, particularly when it comes to wealth. Pig can spot a heavy coinpurse from streets away. Pig keeps all of his senses sharp and well trained. After all, any of them could potentially save your life, or keep the guards from catching you. His years of experience as the infamous thief The Wraith have taught him to keep all your senses open, even the ones you don't expect to rely on. After all, if a Pig can't trust his snout, what can he rely on?
  
  Quick Witted ~ Pig is quick with a scheme and a story, years having spent robbing and dealing with the guards. A quick alibi, Pig learned the hard way, is the best insurance against a plan gone wrong. This also makes him a surprisingly good storyteller and singer, though he rarely sings in front of those he doesn't know. He can make up a story or a song on the fly if need be, and his quick tongue and sharp mind have gotten him out of a surprising number of scrapes over the years.
  
  Disrespectful~ While others bow and scrape to their lords and masters, Pig often scoffs right in the face of polite society and its silly rules and ideas of respect. Pig respects those he feels are worthy of respect, and doesn't bother to show contempt to an unjust ruler. He treats the Master with respect because the Master earned it, and has never once demanded it. Pig feels that if a person has to order someone to respect them, they were never worthy of that respect to begin with. As such, Pig doesn't care about the station of others, though he knows many people look down on him for being less, because he was a street thief, and did what he had to to survive.

• Pig was born to a family of wealthy merchants. While they loved him very much, they couldn't always be there for him growing up. So he was left in the care of a nursemaid. When he was three, an outbreak of smallpox occurred in the area. His parents were told by the nursemaid that he had died and was buried while they were trading. The truth was, he had been stolen by the wicked woman and kept as her servant. For the next five years, he lived a brutal existence of servitude. When he asked about his family and his past, she would simply viciously point out his name: Mou Yan, which meant No One. Finally when he was eight, he met a boy living on the streets. Ban envied his freedom, and one night escaped. The pair was brought into the local street gang, where Ban became known as the Wraith for his talent for slipping in and out of places and for pickpocketing without a trace. He stole first for the Thief Lady, and then when he had paid back his debts, he set out to make his own career. He stole from those he felt flaunted their wealth in the face of people's suffering, handing out coin where it was needed. As for himself, the Pig only ever kept enough to survive, though the secret nest he kept was littered not with valuables but with souvenirs from his exploits. As time progressed, he began to have strange sensations around metals, and one night he shocked a guard who had caught him stealing. Fleeing from the scene, he was later caught and brought before the courts. Given the choice between prison and the strange white haired man who offered to take him in, Pig went gladly. It was then he found out what he was, and began training there. Though he has not been there long, he is glad to have been found by the Master, and is surprisingly respectful to the man who saved him from the dungeons.

Story
Ume originally belonged to a lower class family who did what they must to survive. Stealing was common as well as other things. Ume was a cute little kid, and it was clear that she was going to be a beautiful woman. Her parents took advantage of this and when she became ‘old enough’ she was sold to the equivalent of the Red Light District. This was when she was around 8 years old. Ume chooses to not think about her time there. Granted it gave her a good skill set that she would eventually need but it was a very cut throat world to try and earn favor of those in high positions.

Ume's ability started to form when she was around 13. It started with cuts that would heal quickly and became noticeable when bruises would vanish. Becoming a Zodiac member gave her an immediate upgrade in status, especially with the healing aspect. She gained the attention of higher ups and it wasn’t long after this that she was found by Master Liao and went to live with him. After all, the Red Light District was no place for a girl to be raised.
While at the house, Ume used her new time to learn how to read. She had basic knowledge but growing up in a lower class family, she didn’t have a lot of opportunities to actually read. When her reading level finally caught up to what it should be at her age, she decided she would use her new opportunities to study and become a doctor. They were revered and her abilities would make it all the easier. There was also good money in it.
When the other Zodiac members started to come in, she would blatantly ignore them and just focus on herself.

Powers:
It takes a lot of concentration for Ume to use her powers. Due to the amount of years she has spent with Master Liao, she has a pretty good manipulation of it and knows her limit. Of course there is always room to grow.

How: Ume uses her Chi to heal herself and others. It takes concentration and the harder the wound/illness is to heal the more Chi it requires. Extensive use could exhaust and/or damage her and if her Chi flow is disrupted her power becomes limited and/or none existent.

Detection: Can detect what is wrong with a person, whether it is an illness or an internal injury.

Alleviate: Can alleviate the symptoms of illnesses, allergies, and pain to be something more tolerable. This doesn’t last indefinitely. The more energy she puts into this process the longer it will last.
Ume has noticed that if used on the same person multiple times in a short period of time, it becomes less effective each time.

Cell Manipulation: Increases the speed of cellular abilities. This is what allows her to heal things like cuts, bruises, broken bones.
Ume has limited experience using this to cure illnesses and, as such, is unable to heal deadly diseases.

Reverse Healing: Ume is able to reverse any of the healing she has done. When she was younger, she did this a lot accidently when learning to control her powers. Now, since she has spent so much time with the Master, she has learned to control it and now does it at will.

Limb Attachment: This is something that Ume is currently learning how to do. She is only in the beginning stages of this ability and can’t yet reattach a limb that has fully come off.

Ume doesn’t interact with Hiroki too much. She does admire how loyal he is to those he is close to but that is about it.

The Snake -Yeong Tang
Ume does not like his playful and charming personality. They clash often but despite this she does enjoy his company, she would never tell him that though. He’s one of the few people who know about what she did before coming to live with the Master.

The Pig- Ban Mou Yan
Ume despises the pig. SHe believes his antics are just that. They are a waste of time and she believes if he spent more time practicing his abilities would be much stronger than what they are.

The Tiger -Bohai Tang
Ume has no bad thoughts about Bohai. He is one of the two people, the other being Master Liao, that she respects. Him and his brother are the only ones who knew her before she came to the Master and she appreciates that he hasn’t told anyone.

The Rabbit-Fuyuki Usagi
Ume can’t help but feel pity for the girl. That's pretty much the only opinion she has of her.

• Bohai feels like he spent the first part of his life happy and the second angry. One moment he had a nice life with his brother. Then their father died, leaving their mother to try to raise them on her own. Because she was always working, scrambling to keep themn fed even at the cost of her own health, Bohai took on the role of a parent. He looked after his brother, shadowing Yeong's antics just in case his smooth talking brother got himself into trouble. His brother found them work at Hidden Orchid, at first as waiters. But as each brother's reputation grew there, Yeong's as a skilled talker and Bohai's as an enforcer, they drifted slowly apart. Bohai had no idea how bad his brother's situation had become. He'd noticed him flinching, refusing to leave alone. He didn't understand until that night in the alley. He had noticed his brother leave early for his shift. Seeing the way he looked, Bohai followed him at a distance. Growing apart or not, he was the older brother, and protecting Yeong had always been his job. He watched as their landlord attacked his brother, groping and threatening him. His brother tried to fight back as his clothes were ripped and the landlord did his best to have his way with Yeong, and with a roar Bohai rushed in. He had always had a fiery temper. Even among the other bodyguards, he was feared for his temper, savagery and his apparent lack of concern about his well being. This night, there was literal fire in his eyes as he went hurtling towards the other man, throwing him back against a nearby wall. Seeing the look in Bohai's eyes, he fled. Little did both brothers realize, but an older man looked on at the whole fight. The next night, Bohai found the landlord and got justice. A justice that still haunts his dreams. One he would never tell Yeong about. After that, an old man came and introduced himself as Master Liao. He promised to teach the boys to use their gifts, and to help Bohai contain the rage that terrified him every day.

Story
Fuyuki was born into a rich and noble house. She was treated well and loved very much. At the age of four an assassin came and killed everyone in her family, she would have been killed as well if she wasn't hiding. Sadly where she hid she could still see everything that happened. Because of that she grew mute and a bit afraid of others. Fuyuki wandered the streets finding food, using the speed from the Rabbit, for about a year before a man with long white hair took her in.
When Master Liao found her she was still mute and afraid. Since she was unable to talk and tell him what her name was he called her Usagi. Four years later she finally opened up to Liao and told him everything that had happened to her and was able to tell him her name. At the age of ten she was able to use airbending and learned how to use it. When she turned twelve Master Liao started teqching her Tessenjutsu. Now fourteen years later she is one of the Zodiac Warriors.

Calm- One time a customer reffered to Xiao as having an "aura of calm" surrounding him. He is generally silent unless spoken to, and has a rather soft voice. Of his many siblings, Xiao was the most levelheaded.

Picky Eater- Xiao considers himself as having a "sensitive pallette", his mother called it "annoying". He stays away from spicy dishes and preffers meals that consist mainly of plain rice and mild soups.

Artist- Once he was old enough to learn the family traide, Xiao began working in his parents tailor shop. After learning the basics, he quickly discovered the art of fine embroidery and other texttile arts. By the age of ten he had mastered everything his parents could teach him, and his garments were sought out by local artistocracy. His ability to weave and sew lifelike images onto fabric has brought his family much fame and wealth.

Poor Social Skills- Xiao has a hard time picking up on nonverbal social cues, and while conversing he takes a long time to formulate what he wants to say aloud to others. Some find talking to Xiao frustrating as a reasult.

Story
The Xinya family has run a modest tailorshop out of their home for the past two generations. Xiao's parents had six children, with Xiao himself being the 4th eldest. As soon as they could, the Xinya's began teaching their children their trade so that they could help take on orders and keep the shops income steady enough to feed so many mouths. When he was six, Xiao was given a needle and thread and taught the basics by his eldest sister. The art came to him naturally, and he soon surpassed his other siblings in skill. By the age of ten, Xiao was weaving and embroidering almost lifelike scenes onto fabric, creating literal works of art people could wear. Word spread about the small tailor shop that was producing such exquisite clothing, and the aristocracy began clamering over one another to commision Xiao for personalized wardrobes. Xiao's skill brought his family newfound status and wealth, which they used to feed and comfortably house their many children.

The magic came later.

When he was fourteen, Xiao's second eldest sister was to be married. For her wedding present, Xiao decided he would be the one to create the kimono for her ceremony. Along the hem of the garment Xiao wove the scenes of his sisters dreams for her future. A happy marriage, beautiful children, and a splended house to rear them in. A few months after the wedding, his sister moved into a new home her husbands recently deceased uncle had left them. The house looked exactly like the one Xiao and woven into her kimono, with the couple being blessed with twins the following year.

Although now wealthy, the Xinya family chose to keep their humble home, and thier children shared the same sleeping space. At night, Xiao's youngest brother kicked him while sleeping and Xiao found himself having some sort of vision that he could only interperate as a childlike dreamscape. After the fourth time of this happening, Xiao could no longer write this off as a strange coincidence. Something weird was going on with him.

By the time he was nineteen, word spread that for a heafty amount of coin the young Xinya tailor would weave your fate for you. It was then that the gentleman with the flowing white hair paid a visit to the Xinya shop. He asked to meet the young tailor, and explained that the strange occurences happening around his garments was due to his role as a member of the Zodiac, the Rooster. Xiao went with the Master to train and hone his skills and has been with him ever since.

Woven Vision: Xiao uses his art as a conduit for his abilities. He can litearally weave illusions with precise speed and skill. The down side to this being he cant use illusions in battle unless he prepares them ahead of time.

Nightwalker: Xiao can enter the dreams of any person that he comes into phsyical contact to while they are unconcious. While within their dreams Xiao can communicate with the targets subconcious thoughts, and manipulate the dreamscape around them if he see's the need to do so. Although much harder, he can perform this task if given an item important to the target and concentrating.

Manisfestation: The most complex of Xiao's skills. By exerting a great amount of concentration and energy, Xiao can physically manifest the dreams of others. This is what happened when he was a teenager and sewing his sisters bridal kimono. His love for his sister and desire to see her dreams be made reality brought them to life through his weaving. This specific talent takes a lot of time and energy, and after performing it he is mentally and physically exsuasted for many days.

Martial Art: In his years with the Master, Xiao has learned and done his best to perfect the art of Aikido.

story

lei's birth into nobility was complicated due to her parents' differing statuses and her mother's appointment to a concubine. her father had been a high-ranking government official of the state while her mother had been a maid to her father's legal wife/lei's stepmother. being an illegitimate child, her existence was frowned upon by, not only some of her family members but also by much of society. some within the zhou manor even believed her not to be her father's daughter. growing up, her two elder, legitimate sisters were fond of picking on her while her "mother" did not hide her dislike of lei within the walls of the manor. her father paid her no mind most of the time and her biological mother had been sent away to live in the countryside.

despite the many flaws of her living situation, there were benefits to it and lei's determined soul found ways to enjoy the life she was given. for one, the illegitimate daughter of the zhou family was well-educated. her father was not good for much, but he was adamant about education and etiquette being taught to everyone within the household. though she did not enjoy much of what came with "ladyship," lei did enjoy writing, reading, and the art of dance as a young girl. though she did not have much support from most of her family members, her half-brother, who was the same age as her, was the exception. they often studied and played together as children. it was her brother's influence that drew her attention to the samurai class and swordsmanship. when she was twelve years old, she picked up her first wooden sword and began sparring with her brother as a hobby.

as for her powers, there were only a select few who knew about them: her nanny, her half-brother, and her personal maid. lei had been receiving visions since she was around four years old. being a curious child, she was constantly touching things she was not supposed to. through that physical contact, she was able to catch glimpses of things beyond normal human perception. of course, being that young, she thought very little of that oddity. on the other hand, her nanny was both awed and horrified by the things that little lei would tell her. it was her nanny who told lei to not tell anyone about the things she saw because she feared that lei would be labeled a jinx or disowned or both. so, the young zhou cleverly heeded her nanny's warning and only told those she trusted the most.

unlike her retrocognition, her ability to astral project did not began until she was around thirteen years old. she had triggered by an accident after climbing too high in a tree and getting stuck. long story short... it definitely freaked both her and her brother, who came to her aid, out.

anyways, by the time she turned seventeen years old, lei was well-received by many of the citizens who lived in her city. she was often found roaming the streets and stores within the city, and was fond of interacting with whoever she came across. she developed a bad habit of sneaking out during the day and during night—both through the physical means and astral projection. it was both a habit that got her in trouble a couple of times over the years for.

at the age of eighteen, lei was ousted from the zhou manor for "disobedience" and refusal to marry the man whom her parents had selected for her. her brother, one of the only support systems she had, was traveling at the time, leaving the illegitimate daughter of the zhou family with no one and little to her name. so, with what little coin she did have, she ditched her pretty clothes in favor of commoner wear and went to a friend's restaurant called the empress. there, lei to help work at the restaurant for in exchange for free in exchange for shelter. after a few months of being there, she was given a small table in the restaurant to make coin by utilizing her psychic abilities (and, yes, finally going against her nanny's advice). she advertised that she could accurately tell events from people's past for just a few coin and, gradually, word began to spread. this is how she captured master liao's attention.

when master liao found her and offered her place among his zodiac warriors, lei was reluctant at first. despite her unique abilities, the offer words seemed like they had come straight out of a story book. in fact, she might have found the offer laughable or played it off as a joke had the white-haired man eyes not looked so intense. despite her doubts, she, a young woman with nothing to lose, agreed went with the strange man and joined the ranks of the zodiac warriors as the goat.

approval-seeking - ever since she was a young child, lei has always striven for idealism. she has always felt as if she needed to prove her worth. she can be rather self-critical when faced with failure.
overcommitment issues - she is a bit impulsive and, as a result, she ends up putting too much onto her plate. Whether it is due to pure self-interest or fill the desire of someone else, it often leaves her feeling drained.
manipulative - lei can sometimes be manipulative when she is upset in the way that she will twist people's words to guilt-trip them or make that person sound unreasonable. of course, she definitely feels bad after doing so. it should be noted that lei also uses to motivate others to make them want to better themselves or to inspire them. she is not an overall manipulative person though.

STORY
lei's birth into nobility was complicated due to her parents' differing statuses and her mother's appointment to a concubine. her father had been a high-ranking government official of the state while her mother had been a maid to her father's legal wife/lei's stepmother. being an illegitimate child, her existence was frowned upon by, not only some of her family members but also by much of society. some within the zhou manor even believed her not to be her father's daughter. growing up, her two elder, legitimate sisters were fond of picking on her while her "mother" did not hide her dislike of lei within the walls of the manor. her father paid her no mind most of the time and her biological mother had been sent away to live in the countryside.

despite the many flaws of her living situation, there were benefits to it and lei's determined soul found ways to enjoy the life she was given. for one, the illegitimate daughter of the zhou family was well-educated. her father was not good for much, but he was adamant about education and etiquette being taught to everyone within the household. though she did not enjoy much of what came with "ladyship," lei did enjoy writing, reading, and the art of dance as a young girl. though she did not have much support from most of her family members, her half-brother, who was the same age as her, was the exception. they often studied and played together as children. it was her brother's influence that drew her attention to the samurai class and swordsmanship. when she was twelve years old, she picked up her first wooden sword and began sparring with her brother as a hobby.

as for her powers, there were only a select few who knew about them: her nanny, her half-brother, and her personal maid. lei had been receiving visions since she was around four years old. being a curious child, she was constantly touching things she was not supposed to. through that physical contact, she was able to catch glimpses of things beyond normal human perception. of course, being that young, she thought very little of that oddity. on the other hand, her nanny was both awed and horrified by the things that little lei would tell her. it was her nanny who told lei to not tell anyone about the things she saw because she feared that lei would be labeled a jinx or disowned or both. so, the young zhou cleverly heeded her nanny's warning and only told those she trusted the most.

unlike her retrocognition, her ability to astral project did not began until she was around thirteen years old. it had triggered by an accident after climbing too high in a tree and getting stuck. long story short... it definitely freaked both her and her brother, who came to her aid, out.

anyways, by the time she turned seventeen years old, lei was well-received by many of the citizens who lived in her city. she was often found roaming the streets and stores within the city, and was fond of interacting with whoever she came across. she developed a bad habit of sneaking out during the day and during the night—both through the physical means and astral projection. it was both a habit that got her in trouble a couple of times over the years.

at the age of eighteen, lei was ousted from the zhou manor for "disobedience" and refusal to marry the man whom her parents had selected for her. her brother, one of the only support systems she had, was traveling at the time, leaving the illegitimate daughter of the zhou family with no one and little to her name. so, with what little coin she did have, she ditched her pretty clothes in favor of commoner wear and went to a friend's restaurant called the empress. there, lei to help work at the restaurant in exchange for free shelter. after a few months of being there, she was given a small table in the restaurant to make coin by utilizing her psychic abilities (and, yes, finally going against her nanny's advice). she advertised that she could accurately tell events from people's past for just a few coins and, gradually, word began to spread. this is how she captured master liao's attention.

when master liao found her and offered her place among his zodiac warriors, lei was reluctant at first. despite her unique abilities, the offer words seemed like they had come straight out of a storybook. in fact, she might have found the offer laughable or played it off as a joke had the white-haired man eyes not looked so intense. despite her doubts, she, a young woman with nothing to lose, agreed to go with the strange man and joined the ranks of the zodiac warriors as the goat.

- astral projection: the ability to separate one's spirit from one's body. in a sense, she can essentially be more than one place at a time, whether it be invisibly or visibly. however, if she is to project herself too long, it can actually do damage to her body or soul. it also should be noted that her physical being essentially goes into a sort of coma when using such ability.
- retrocognition: the ability to perceive past events through psychic means. this ability is usually triggered by physical contact or at random, but she might be able to bring a vision forth with a good amount of concentration. typically her visions are broken into pieces, meaning it might take several different visions to connect the dots. even so, lei emotionally feels what she sees and, sometimes, it can cause her a lot of distress.

  PERSONA

  Social: Su-Jin thrives in large groups of people. Having grown up helping her mother work and raise her younger sibling she has come to really enjoy being in a community. Whether that is friends or family. She can integrate herself pretty quickly into a group without making herself stand out. This generally makes people feel pretty comfortable around her because she doesn’t have an overbearing presence. The fact that she doesn’t stand out helps her slip out of these social gatherings without really being noticed if she wants some time to herself, or possibly deliver something.
  Loyal: She is fiercely loyal to those she trusts. While her trust is harder to earn these days. She is extremely grateful to those who have been patient with her and have helped her. Su-Jin would be quite willing to do whatever to repay her debt to them. While she may not want to leap straight towards sacrificing her life for them, she will strive to do her best in whatever it is they may want from her. Su-Jin knows what it is like to have those strong bonds in the family, so she wants to replicate that in the relationships that she has left.
  Clever: While not nearly as quick-witted as some of the other Zodiac warriors, there is a reason Su-Jin survived as long as she did in the underground world of con artists. She is someone who trusts her gut when it says that something is off about a scenario. Now that might mean that something just seems too good to be true, or it is just downright bad. It is these instincts that have kept her alive to this point, and she is certainly not about to brush them off now. She still struggles with understanding why she might feel a certain way about something, and sometimes this leads to her over-thinking things.
  Self-Critical: After the recent events that lead her to becoming a Zodiac warrior she has become a lot harder on herself. Su-Jin was already the type of person to push herself to do better not only for the betterment of herself but also for the people around her. Before it was really to avoid being a burden on her family and husband, but now she has kind of taken it to the next level. No one is harder on her than she is on her own. She refuses to let herself be used again for the benefit of others. She judges herself for small hiccups to avoid the bigger problems later.
  Cautious: Su-Jin has had a lot happen to her in recent times, maybe not nearly as traumatic and gruesome compared to some, but it was enough to really change her. After discovering the deceit of the people she thought she could trust most, she couldn’t help but doubt any kind gestures that had been shown. Su-Jin knows how to be polite, so she will show a smile and accept the gesture. But that smile never quite reaches her eyes. For the observant ones, it is pretty easy to tell that she doesn’t feel comfortable and is even a bit withdrawn. She insists on doing this in order to protect herself.
  Naive: Having lived a relatively sheltered life before becoming a warrior alongside the others she never really got to experience the world as it could be. All the good and bad included. This meant that she hadn’t really developed the proper life skills to be able to smartly navigate the world around her. Having a strong gut feeling won’t help anyone if there are no skills to help figure out what it means. This has led to Su-Jin trusting the wrong people in her life because of the assumptions she made about their person. Even now she still has moments where she can be naive, being so cautious to the point where she doesn’t listen to those who have years on her. She is trying to fix this about herself, but it is taking some time.
  
  Fears: As her powers start to grow in power, she becomes more afraid of them and becomes more hesitant about using them. However, the fear of her powers comes second to the fear that she will be once again used by the people who are closest

  For a while she worked as an assistant to her mother at her seamstress job. After marrying her husband he integrated into his line of working, as a con artist. While she was not the one doing the conning she was pretty involved.
  
  

  abilities

  How: Since she is still not entirely sure how her powers work since she has been trying to learn about them all on her own for quite some time. She has found that when she visualizes the blood she is trying to manipulate being pulled around by either threads or strings. It’s harder to pull blood through unopened skin and this may result in her drawbacks to kick in faster. Thus she uses her barbed weapon to create an opening that she can more easily use her powers.
  
  Haemokinesis: Su-Jin’s abilities lie in the ability to control blood, whether it be to control the speed at which it travels through the body, forcing it to clot, or manipulating out of the body by force. Right now she can only do the basics, but as she begins to understand her powers more it is possible for her to explore more aspects of her abilities.
  Blood clotting/stopping: When it comes to blood in the body she can force the blood to stop inside the veins and speed up the process at which it clots. This can be helpful if either she or one of her companions are wound badly she can stop any major bleeding and prevent blood loss. However, stopping blood flow can lead to certain complications which I will go into in a bit.
  Blood-thinning: Su-Jin could also do the complete opposite, she can force the blood to thin, which can be very dangerous. This instead can increase how fast the blood leaves the body. She will often do this when she forcefully pulls blood from the body to make it easier on her.
  Neurocognitive Deficit: Because Su-Jin can move blood independently she can reverse blood flow which can cause someone to go unconscious or die. Su-Jin doesn’t often tap into this ability because she doesn’t have the finesse to control what will happen in that event.
  Paralysis/Death inducement: When stopping the flow of blood completely it can quickly become dangerous. In the first stage after the flow of blood has been stopped for a couple of minutes the body will slowly become paralyzed. If blood flow is not encouraged then the victim will die.
  
  

  weaknesses

  Anemia: If Su-Jin calls upon her blood to use her powers there is a limit to how much of her blood she can use before her body can’t take it any longer. It is obvious when this starts to quick in because she becomes very lethargic, she struggles to support herself and keep moving. Her skin became pale and she has shortened breaths. If she continues past this point it will lead to death.
  Blindness: This happens in the early stages of when she is her powers, if trying to do a lot of blood pulling in on ago, it will cause minor blood vessels in her near her tear ducts to burst, if she continues to push then more blood vessels can start burst which will cause her to go temporarily blind until she cleans the blood from her eyes and stops the bleeding.
  Suffocation: This is rarer for her to encounter, but she has experienced it before. This is what happens after her eyes start bleeding. At first, blood will come running down her face at an alarming rate. This is a warning that her lungs will fill up with blood and start suffocating her.
  Fainting: She can faint for many reasons, for example, she can pass out from blood loss or from suffocation. Once she is out, Su-Jin is going to be down for the count.
  Long Recovery time: Depending on much she insists on pushing her powers then she might be sleeping for a couple of days straight. If she only has minor bleeding problems then it will take less time to recover.

  Before coming to Master Liao Su-Jin had no real fighting knowledge, sure she knew how to use her whip and could do it accurately, but more often than not she relied on her powers to get her through. Now she has been learning an art called Arnis, also called Kali. Which teaches her ways to more efficiently fight both in close quarters, if needed, or with her whip.

  The zodiac warrior is the middle child of three kids. She was brought into this world during a calm spring evening to a middle-class family. She remembers growing up in a home where even though there was always the want for more they were still happy. Both her mother and father worked. They didn’t live the kind of life that having only one parent making an income could work out. Her earliest memories are that of her mother carrying her while she worked repairing the many clothing items. Su-Jin can remember trying to crawl away from her mother, being drawn in by the beautiful fabrics across the way. Feeling her mother's gentle hands wrap around her small face, as she is once again scolded for trying to get away from her mother. Watching her father return from a day working from their town’s local blacksmith. Her older brother excitedly carried her around their simple home, promising that he would bring their family to better places one day. She had reached her pre-teen years when truly saw how her parents struggled. The town they lived in was rather small, and everyone was in the same state as them, so it’s not like there is a whole lot going for the people there either. And she was okay with that, but she at least wanted to be able to help her parents.
  
  Her older brother had already left home a year before wanting to find that better life he spoke to her about often. She hoped that he could keep his promise. During that time she helped her mother at her seamstress job as well as making sure everything was kept tidy at home. The simple things became harder for her since she found out she was pregnant. Luckily by that time in her life she had already become used to helping her mother around the house and at her job. So she hadn’t flinched when she helped pick up the slack in place of her older brother. But there was a deep seed of worry in her chest that she would not be enough to help her mother during this time in their family's lives. Su-Jin was so used to having her brother around to support her and ease her worries if she ever got in her head about something. Especially since they didn’t have access to the best resources. It was really going to be up to her and whatever gods looking upon them. When that time finally came, there was lots of blood and screaming. Su-Jin wasn’t sure if her mother and sibling were gonna make it through. But they did, and she let that breath of relief go.
  
  The next months were spent helping her mother care for her younger sister while her mother recovered from the birth. By this time her brother had been away from home for quite some time, often sending letters and sometimes sending money. Su-Jin felt like she was the only one suspicious about how her brother had gotten this money. She wasn’t sure why she felt that way, and she never mentioned it to avoid upsetting her parents. That feeling only seemed to intensify when her brother came home for the first time since his departure. He wasn’t alone either. He was a friend he had made during his time in the city who had helped him find a place of work. When Su-Jin returned she had recently turned sixteen, and her brother was only a couple of years older than her. The man he brought with him looked to be around his age based on what Su-Jin could tell. The first time she had seen him that uneasy feeling settled in her gut, and in the future, it would not be the first time. But seeing as though he was a guest in their home, she chalked it up to her being nervous, and put on her best face.
  
  Her brother remained with them for the next couple of days. They told stories of all their business adventures, and Su-Jin found herself beginning to enjoy being around the man that her brother had brought home. Having forgotten that feeling when she first met the man. Su-Jin was happy that her brother had found someone who was so kind. She was surprised that when her brother left after his few days stay at their home, she actually missed his friend that he had with him. Her brother and the rest of the family traded letters back and forth. Keeping updates on how he was doing, if anything interesting happened with their interests. Su-Jin actually began to look forward to these letters, often scanning these letters for any information about the man he had brought with him. While she thought she was being pretty subtle about that it was obvious to her parents that she seemed to have an interest in this man that her brother knew. Which worked out for her parents. They wanted to be able to marry her off to someone who could provide her the good life that they wanted for her. Su-Jin never expected her parents to choose her brother’s friend to be her husband. She was eighteen when learned what her parents were planning, and she admittedly wasn’t upset by this choice. Her marriage was a simple one, seeing as though both of them were from small families that didn’t have a lot of money. When it was all said done Su-Jin traveled back to the big city with her brother and husband.
  
  During their travels, her husband, with a few added bits from her brother, started to tell her about his work. Su-Jin felt a pin-prick of that same worry from those past years when he hesitated to give her certain details of what he did. She tried to convince herself that it was because they hadn’t really gotten the chance to get to know each other. Su-Jin wanted to make the best of this marriage and didn’t want to think anything bad of the person that was so close to her friends. When they arrived, Su-Jin was quickly swallowed by all the sights and sounds. She was even more blown away when her husband brought her to their home. It was beautiful and did not speak of the humble background that they both came from. She was having a hard time wrapping her head around how he had managed to get a place at this. She hoped it would be something that she would learn in time. And Su-Jin got her wish. A few months into her marriage as her husband started to gain some trust in her, he started to open up about what he did. She never would have thought she would get involved as she did.
  
  While her husband always kept the true nature of his job from her, he found ways to get her involved. Su-Jin was tasked with finding new people if her husband wanted and collecting information in the beginning. She didn’t understand why he had her do the things that she did, but as she should have more good results then he gave her more. As he took her deeper into whatever the hell he was doing in that city. Su-Jin started to see more of the lies and she felt the need to run from her husband and brother. Who were both uncomfortably relaxed in this poison-filled environment. Su-Jin never would have imagined her brother would be someone she would have to watch out for. As he and her husband brought in money that Su-Jin couldn’t even dream of. She even witnessed the beginning of a scuffle that was happening in her home. When she turned to her husband for answers in a fear-filled panic, he simply told her that he was doing this for good. That he was pretending to be this kind of person and she was helping him make things better. Su-Jin so desperately wanted to believe him.
  
  It was three years later, she was twenty-one years old at that point in her life when she saw the truth. In her heart, she truly never convinced herself to believe what her family was telling her, but this was her family and she couldn’t leave them all because of something she had seen. But she couldn’t hide from it anymore. People would come banging at the door of their home in the middle of the night demanding the money that her husband had taken from them back. Some cried about how he had taken everything. Su-Jin swore that she had heard him kill someone one night when she had stayed there lying in the bed. The answer she was seeking came much sooner than she thought it would. Su-Jin’s husband was out one night. She can remember lying there awake as she tried to take this time to sort out her thoughts and feelings. She had become familiar with the sounds of the house at this point, and she knew for a fact that the sudden bang was not just the wood creaking under some unforeseen weight. She should have just stayed in bed. She should have just accepted whatever was coming to her. But with her husband away she felt it was her place to go see what had produced the sound. Creeping through the inner workings of the estate she had spotted anything out of the ordinary until she came to her husband's workspace. Papers were scattered everywhere and drawers were on the floor. Su-Jin stepped further into the study, eyes scanning over the room to try and piece together what was going on. As she took that step inside the room her body was slammed against the nearest wall and a knife was being embedded in her flesh. Her whole body was wracked with sudden pain as she took in a sharp breath.
  
  Her mind was running a mile a minute as she tried to figure out what the hell was happening. She had no weapon and no real way to fight them off. Her eyes shifted down to the knife in her side. The knife wasn't that deep and the one who put it in her seemed to be equally surprised as her. She had to get out there. She had to stop the bleeding. That’s when she felt something awaken inside herself. Su-Jin was suddenly hyper-aware of everything around her. It was like she knew what to do without even being told. Su-Jin watched as the man's eyes filled with blood and even began to flow freely out of his mouth. Su-Jin watched in horror as blood started to pool around her from the body of this man who attacked her. A scream wanted to rip from her throat, but she pushed it down, instead of turning her attention to the knife in her body. She pulled the knife out of the wound. Su-Jin pressed her hand to the wound with the goal to stop the bleeding. As she kept her hand there, it was like she could feel the bleeding stop. When she moved her hand away to check, there was a scab starting to form. Between the dead man and the miraculously okay wound. Su-Jin was having a hard time figuring out what the hell had happened. After having a moment to mentally recover she shuffled back to her room to finish cleaning her wound and wrap it up. Her husband came home that night to Su-Jin sitting awake with blood all over her hands and feet. For a while her husband just sort of stared at her before letting out a sigh. The next morning the blood and body were gone.
  
  The next few days after the break-in event there was this weird tension in the air between the two of them. Not that she blamed her husband. It was not easy to explain how his tiny wife with no fighting experience had managed to survive the encounter. The things that she witnessed were far from normal. Su-Jin certainly couldn’t turn to her husband for guidance, not that she wanted to. She had a feeling that if she were to voice her thoughts during this weird time between them then it would only end badly for her. Which is why she decided to test it out herself. In the cover of night, she sat on the dirt path outside her home, knife in hand, she tested out her theory. Su-Jin for a good while just sat there with the knife in her hand, working up the courage to do what she felt she had to. Slowly she lifted the knife to the skin of her upper arm, pressing the blade into her skin she created a thin red line.
  
  Biting past the pain she tried to find that same feeling in her that appeared that night. She watched as blood started to slide down her arm. She focused on wanting the blood to stop. Su-Jin was starting to think she had just been imagining things in a panic-filled state. That was until she felt that same prick of something and a small scab started to form over the cut she had made. For a while, she just stared at the scab before picking up the knife and repeating the process on her other arm. Su-Jin did this a couple of times before she felt confident in the fact that she indeed had caused whatever had happened during that attack. It was hard to understand and wrap her head around but all she could do was practice whatever this was. Su-Jin did her best to hide the wounds from her brother and husband as she continued to explore this strange gift. During a visit to her family's house, she tried to recreate what had happened during the breakin. Luckily she could see her neighbor's hen near to her. She just focused on the hen and imagined the blood doing something. She wasn’t sure what she wanted it to do, but she wanted it to do something. The good thing she learned from the experience was that it was good to have an idea in mind when using her powers because blood started spewing from the hen without reason. Her neighbor started screaming in fear at the sight.
  
  The next few days were filled with rumors of the gods being unhappy with the people of her town and what could have happened to cause that. Her husband and she left a few days after so she didn’t have to witness the aftermath of that event. She continued to practice her abilities when she had the time. Mostly using her own skin as the medium. Her only saving grace was that her husband seemed to distance himself from her. Most likely worried about whatever she had done to the man who broke into their home. Su-Jin during this time started looking for ways to get, using the resources her husband unknowingly gave her during her work with him. It was during this weird limbo of figuring out her situation and learning powers that she first met the master. It was somewhat by accident. Her husband had brought him to their home, seeking to turn him into another one of the poor souls like the one that attacked her. Most of the gut feelings she got were bad ones, but when she first met Master Liao she didn’t get that sense of dread. She instead felt like he was someone that was not like the usual people her husband brought around.
  
  Surprisingly he kept coming around and he slowly became someone that she felt she could rely on. While she didn’t fully trust the Master, she didn’t want to stay with her husband and brother anymore. The Master seemed to know and offered a way to her. Su-Jin initially hesitated, but in the end, she took him up on his offer and has been with him since.

Story
Born into a merchant family, Tomoko grew up in beliefs that she would follow in her parents’ footsteps which were all neatly laid out in front of her. Almost as if she didn’t get the choice to choose for her own, which was actually a fact. Her dreams however laid somewhere else which she came to find out during her home-schooling, she didn’t go to an actual school since her family was moving around a lot and it was a hassle to switch every single time. When she was about 15 years old, she found her passion in writing and calligraphy, thinking the words were powerful and truly lingered in her heart. During the time she was free to do what she wanted, she started to master the art of words, even writing poetry whenever inspiration struck.

Not long after her sixteenth birthday, she started to notice the small changes in herself as the Earth seemed to be responding to her oddly enough. Thinking she was just hallucinating or something, she tried to ignore it at first but it only got more visible that way. Eventually, she started to dabble in some experiments which were shockingly enough successful. Quite afraid of what to expect, she kept this a secret from everyone and hid it as good as possible until one day her anger took over when facing thieves who were about to ruin her family’s “income” for the next couple of days… Earth rumbled and engulfed the men in what seemed like a cage of sorts, more like a tornado with only their arms and head free. Astonished by this accomplishment, she quickly took what was hers and escaped the scene as fast as she could.

That was the moment she met Master Liao who noticed the little event that unfolded just now. Offering her a place under his guidance which she was wary of… after all, this was an unknown man who could do unspeakable things to her. But she didn’t get that feeling of off him. He also wasn’t afraid of what she could do which was not exactly normal. The thieves all had fear in their eyes but Liao was different. This left her wondering about what she could do with him as her “teacher”, thoughts going through her as she made her way back home. Eventually she went to meet him at a bar where he explained she could train with him in order to let her powers grow, though she did mention the regular moving so she wouldn’t be able to stay for a long time. With his agreement, they started her training which went on for about a year before she had to move towards another region with her family. She still kept in contact with him over the years, reporting her training and adjusting wherever she could with his guidance until she mastered both her power and swordsmanship. From the age of 21 she was given some missions when it was necessary for Master Liao, making up some excuses for her parents whenever she had to.

Every interest and hobby in Tsuda's life has required her to have patience, for results never come immediately. She is more about the journey than the destination, especially when it comes to people in need of enlightenment. It is rare for her to give up on a project or person, a firm believer that with time and love, anything could be done. All she wants is for the people she considers family to live long and healthy lives, to be truly happy for themselves. She has a soft spot when it comes to others suffering, either it be by physical or mental pain. Her door is open at all times, day and night, for anyone who may need a shoulder to lean on or a release of negativity. This can lead to her being stubborn during tricky situations, especially if the task requires problem solving thought.

Tsuda is very reticent about herself. She would rather remain silent about her problems than burden another being with them. Letting her thoughts build up, she can appear to be uptight and short with others. Story:
Tsuda Miyoko was born to a small middle class family. Her mother had passed away during childbirth, and her father, Hyong, was well known for his elaborate kakemono work, the scrolls raging from simple lines of poetry to paintings of the beautiful countryside. When she refused to be dragged to the market with her nanny, or had to attend Taijiquan lessons, she would help her father with simple tasks involving the scroll art. She would help set out the paints and inks he used and roll out larger scrolls before she would sit patiently for hours on end, large brown eyes absorbing every stroke Hyong made. Her curiosity grew with each passing day for the delicate scroll art, soon finding herself in trouble as she began using her fathers work materials to create her own poorly constructed masterpieces. Finding an alternate solution to Tsuda's interest, she was supplied with her own personal paints and scrolls, often whatever was leftover from a project Hyong had been working on.

Tsuda encountered no difficulties as a child, she was healthy, resilient, and listened well to her father's law. The young girl buried herself in arts and literature, spending her time reading rather than playing with the other children in the area. When she wasn't being aloof, Tsuda could be found in the study working hard on a scroll or practicing her Tai Chi. Her lack of interest to the aspects of life outside the arts concerned her father, how would she marry being so distant? He became persistent with Tsuda to drop the scrolls, Taijiquan, and books, so she may find herself a family, or it would be arranged for her. The young girl ignored the ultimatum and continued her days lost in words and pictures.

Greatly irritated with having been ignored, Hyong did as he said. He arranged a wedding with a young boy of similar age, giving his daughter no choice but to marry or run away. Tsuda put her interests on hold and married Ki. She was resentful toward the boy, yet he still tried his best to make her happy. The married couple slowly became acquainted with another, and love filled the air between the two like a tsunami. Ki encouraged Tsuda to pick up her interests again after learning how she was forced to put it away for their forced courtship. They quickly grew accustomed to a comfortable lifestyle after Tsuda began selling her art quicker than she could produce, her skills having gone beyond that of her fathers.

The next nine months flew by for Tsuda and Ki. They spent the time becoming well prepared to start a new chapter of their lives. Excitement filled the air and Hyong made an appearance on the daily, impatient to welcome his grandchild to the world. When the time came, twin children entered the world. Utter happiness and joy was supposed to fill that day in the Miyoko family. Complications arose and Tsuda nearly lost her life as her mother had. The twins were limp and quiet. Shock and grief rattled Tsuda and Ki to their core. Overcome with devastation, Ki took his own life shortly after the small funeral for his stillborn children. This brought Tsuda to the brink of following her husband, but Hyong made her come back home. He did all he could tp help his daughter through three processes, but he fell ill that winter. His health declined in a matter of days before Tsuda woke up, officially alone.

For the first time in her life, Tsuda had no one. She was about fifteen and had never had to depend on herself. She fumbled through the next several years of her life, lost without direction. She found herself unable to stay in places with a lot of people and animals. Everything felt overwhelming and the range of emotions she experienced did not feel of her own. She secluded herself away from everyone, living on the outskirts of a village stuffed away in the mountains. Still, the invisible ropes of foreign emotions plagued her. She began having difficulties focusing on her work, often habing a break down on the middle of a project.

Nearly each scroll she happened to manage finishing was returned to her, clients claiming them to have evil spirits attached. Each time the scroll was wrapped or sealed when being returned. The ones who hung the kakemono within their homes were wrought with amplified feelings that became unbareable. The people who sheltered their guilt could no longer bare their dark secrets. The ones who were filled with silent rage unleashed it upon their loved ones, several times resulting in a few murders. Very few had positive effects on the household members, as they had been living mostly docile lives and had made inner peace within themselves. Tsuda tried to explain there was nothing strange about the scrolls, yet her works kept returning and the coin stopped coming. Confused and frightened, Tsuda shut down and never left her home.

Master Liao had been able to discover the whereabouts of the young woman from the travelling rumors of cursed kakemono pieces. When finally found, Tsuda was informed of her position in the Zodiac as the Horse, and that with the Master she would be able to learn how to control her abilities, as well as shut the doors to the foreign empathic feelings. She accepted without heisitation and was ready to leave within an hour.

Tsuda found a new home with the Master and the Zodiac Warriors. She became religious with her training, never wanting the Master to be disappointed in her. She gained a handle on the emotional powers she had, yet she has much more to learn about her special abilities. With the Tai Chi she practiced when she was younger, her swordplay is like an elegant dance, the katana an extension of her body. She learned the healing properties of Reiki, and discovered a hidden love for helping others find inner peace. Tsuda found purpose in life again, peace and a family.

Spider Silk Tsuda can mentally send suggestive emotions and ideas to unsuspecting people. This takes her a moment to achieve as she must find the invisible thread through her third eye, and trace it to the correct person. Cursed Ink Upon channeling negative energy into the strokes of ink, Tsuda may place a curse, a randomly occurring hindrance, onto an opponent for a short duration of time.

Buddha's Grace Tsuda may channel positive energies into protective wards for allies. They deflect minor amounts of damage but can be life saving in a pinch. This is achieved by drawing a symbol of protection onto the person.

  PERSONA

  Energetic: Zhi hao always seems to have endless bounds of energy. Once he is going, he can just keep going. He doesn’t need much of a break before he is ready to go again. Now it is different when his powers come into play, but he never really faces any social burnouts. Zhi hao also doesn’t mind training for long hours and actually does better when he can just go instead of doing it in small chunks.
  Optimistic: As a very positive outlook on life. This may be because he grew up in an environment that only allowed him to see the best the world has to offer. As he explored more of the world outside of his lavish life he has found that life is just more enjoyable when you try to enjoy it. He doesn’t expect things to be good all the time because that is just not how life works. Zhi hao just tries to see the good as much as he can.
  Good at listening: Despite being a little shit, he cares about his friends and he wants to support them. He does this by listening to their problems. It doesn’t matter if it is late at night or just some lazy afternoon. Zhi hao will always make the time to listen to his friends and make sure that they are okay. He is not a judgemental person either, he may not be as bad as some of the others but you know he enjoys the stories. Which will be staying with him.
  Dissolute: Zhi hao, as I said, is not a very judgmental person. He is not going to harp on anyone for not having the best morals, because he himself is not exactly a role model student. He is not against getting his hands dirty in order to get something done. Nor was any of this family, so he sort of carried that with him. While he does have a couple of things that go against his morals, you know like killing children. But he is okay with stealing from people and conning them. Zhi hao will just look the other way and pretend it is not happening.
  Faithless: He is not the most loyal and trustworthy person. He is very picky about those he considers himself to be close friends with, but he wants to be accepted. His loyalty is hard earned and one of his catchphrases is definitely “Your secret is safe with my indifference.” (if you know what that is from then I am very happy). He has gotten a bit better now that he is in a better company who has stronger ties to loyalty, but he is by no means perfect and is not against abandoning anyone that is not a part of his circle of people.
  Insensitive: Growing up being the golden child did not do him any favors. He has never really had to deal with other people's thoughts and feelings before coming to the Zodiac warriors, this often leads to him saying things that might be hurtful or inconsiderate. While in his mind he is just being honest when he is actually just being a plain dick. Sometimes he just does it on purpose because he feels no need to sugar coat things, or he might just be trying to hurt someone’s feelings on purpose.
  
  Fears: Zhi hao fears not being accepted by the other Zodiac warriors, which is a bit strange because he chooses to be like a spoiled brat most of the time. He does truly want to be friends with them. There is also a bit of fear when using his powers.   abilities

  How: As the monkey of the zodiac he is able to manipulate gravity. There are many ways he is able to interact with the powerful force, he can either focus his abilities one center point changing the properties of that points gravity to his will or adjusting the forces of the gravity that already exist. When creating a center point it expands in a forty foot diameter from that point and goes up for about sixty to a hundred feet. He is capable of adjusting the dimensions of the center point the larger the area the more energy and focus it requires, while smaller focus points take less energy to create but often have more power because of how concentrated they are. Zhi hao is capable of creating multiple center points, but that tends to stretch out his focus which may lead to more trouble than it is worth.
  
  Attraction & Repulsion: By using himself as a center point he is able to either pull things towards him or push them away from him by using gravity. By making himself have a greater gravitational force he can pull objects towards him that have less of a gravitational force. Repelling things away from him is different. Still using himself as a center point, instead of increasing his gravitational force he instead changes the direction of the gravity around to force others or objects away from him. It is like a bubble effect around him that he can drop or lift when he wants. Keeping it up can be rather draining though so he prefers to do it in short bursts.
  Increase & Decrease Gravity: Zhi hao uses this ability mostly with his mobile center point and with people directly. By increasing the force in either a specific point or on a specific person it sends the target straight down or up depending on what direction he has made it. The more force the harder it is for the target to move and they can even be crushed on the pressure. One the opposite of the spectrum Zhi hao can turn down the gravitational force in either a determined area or objects of his choosing. This in turn can put whatever is in that field in a low to zero gravity environment.
  Floortilting: You guys wanna fight on the ceiling? Maybe you wanna fight on the walls. Well now you can do that with the help of Zhi hao. It is the same target idea with all of his other abilities, but it is more complex than changing the direction of the gravity. He essentially creates a whole new field of gravity on a surface which can be used to negate all other effects of gravity. If it is a field of effect that he has created then that means whoever steps into that field will be subject to those effects. If it is specific objects or people then it will only affect the things he has chosen.
  Gyro-Telekinesis: While most things he can do are pretty complex, this one is probably more complicated because it involved multiple fields of gravity.. He can move objects around by manipulating multiple forces around an object to move it around. This is also the ability that allows him to fly but manipulates the gravity around himself. He is still learning the tricks of controlling multiple fields of gravity at one time.

  As Zhi hao uses more of his powers, it starts to affect his body in ways that feel like he is being surrounded by extreme pressure, inside and inside his body. It’s not so much the side effects of his powers that are bad, but what happens when they start to kick in. As Zhi hao starts to lose his concentration because of the unwanted side effects, his powers can become haywire. That’s when things can become a problem for not only himself but for the rest of the warriors. Playing with the world’s forces can quickly become ugly if the balance is not kept in check.
  
  Asphyxiation: As he begins to push past his limits he starts to feel a shortness of breath, like his lungs are being crushed. He struggles to get any air into his body. Not to mention he will still be trying to work through that pain. If he continues past the shortness of breath stage, then it can lead to him not being able to breath at all.
  Migraines: Another part of feeling like everything is getting crushed he will often experience serious migraines. While this is not life threatening, it can affect his concentration which is crucial for the safety of not only himself but the others as well. These migraines can also make him sensitive to lights and sound.
  Internal organ damage: If Zhi hao continues to push even though his body and mind are no longer able to handle that kind of pressure anymore. It can actually start to damage his organs. Playing around with gravity and the force of it can quickly go wrong if he can’t keep things stable. If he is using his powers while out of it, the force and center can become unstable and in turn wreak havoc on his body.

  He leans more towards the art of Suiō-ryū that focuses on the iai-techniques, and it breaks into many different forms. Zhi hao follows the branch of kusarigamajutsu, because that is the weapon that he uses.   Zhi hao growing up was considered to be a sort of miracle golden child. He was born during a particularly harsh winter. Not that his family was suffering any due to their status as nobles, but even nobles are not immune to the dangers of childbirth. His mother was in labor for many hours. People were starting to think that she would not make it through this. But she did. Zhi hao will not let anyone tell him his mother is weak. He was very spoiled growing up. He has never wanted for anything before. If he wanted it, his father would find a way to get it. His mother tried to warn his father of the dangers of spoiling him at this age. Promising that when Zhi hao got older he would be a handful that would not be easily tamed by simple means. His father brushed her off stating that they were lucky to have both Zhi hao in their lives. His mother did understand where her husband was coming from but that didn’t mean she didn’t try and teach her son how to be a good person while also being someone of power. She was not about to let her son turn into a person that the people would hate and wish to harm.
  
  His mother knew of the things that lie within the cover of darkness about the family he was born into. While his family was not a bad force all around but she knew that they didn’t exactly follow a strict moral code. They did everything just so that they would not be breaking any laws, but it always made her uncomfortable how her husband so easily toed the line of what is good. She didn’t want Zhi hao to become like that. As a child, he was kept from certain corners of his family. When he asked about why his father didn’t want him around, his mother would come to scoop him up and take him back to his learning. Saying that he was not ready to be involved in the business of the nobles yet. To keep him from being too curious he would be given something to keep entertained or he would study. Being a noble meant he got to be educated and learn the things that many of the lower class didn’t have access to. Zhi hao from a very young age was curious about the world of science. Which he didn’t know at the time would come in handy later in his life.
  
  As he got older he started to discover that he had a voice and he could use it. This only served to make him more of an annoying force to his family. He started to demand to be a part of the families in workings. He wanted to be involved. He wanted to help. Insisting that he was no longer a small child. It was probably one of the first times he was ever really told no by his father. The man who always gave him everything he wanted. At first, he brushed it off believing that this would be a one-time thing since his father always gave him what he wanted in the end. As he expressed his frustration to his mom, there was a look of worry that flashed across her features. When he pressed her about, he was once more being brushed off. Zhi hao did not like that. While his father always gave him what he wanted material-wise, his mother would be the one to fill him in on what was going on with the family. But recently even she had been drawing with him. And he did not like it. It’s not like he had anyone to talk about this. Seeing as though he was the only child of the family.
  
  So at the wonderful age of thirteen years old, he started to corner the people that worked at his family's estate to get answers out of them. It wasn’t very hard either seeing as though he was the heir to the house when he started to ask questions some were quicker to loosen their tongues than others. Even the ones expressed how things were currently hush-hush because of what was going on. Zhi hao was worried that maybe his father had gotten in over his head. While he didn’t know all of his father’s habits he did know that his father was not exactly the best example of a good father. He never was. Zhi hao had more of a teacher or mentor relationship with his father than actually being very close with him. While yes, his father spoiled him, he quite considered that family building. As he tried to find more he felt he kept hitting a block. It only served to make him even more upset. The only thing he could do now was sneak around and see what he could figure out on his own. While he was not against the idea of collecting his own information, it would be the first time he was doing something without someone giving it to him.
  
  After the questioning session of his staff, he discovered that his father was going to have a meeting that night to discuss whatever was going on in the family. Having spent many hours just doing whatever the hell he wanted, he was quite familiar with the estate he was living on. As the sun started to set he snuck around the back of the main house, knowing the room where his father would often have his business meetings. Having made sure that the staff that was fully on his side would make sure that he would have less of a chance of getting caught. With a good bit of struggle, he pulled himself on top of the roof, with voices quickly approaching. He could remember his heart beating like a hummingbird flying in his chest. As people entered the room, he could feel his whole body tense up. It was almost painful as he tried to keep his breathing slow and methodical. He may have run through this scenario a million times in his head, but being in the moment was so much more than he thought. Taking a deep, albeit shaky, breath he calmed his mind so he could actually focus on what was being said in the room below.
  
  The walls of this room were not thick and his father felt in full control of the manner so they felt no need to fully hide as they spoke. Zhi hao did miss a few details here and there when those who were smarter choose to speak in hushed voices. But he was able to get the gist of what was going on. His father was looking to get higher up the social ladder and wrap his hands around more powerful people. Specifically, his father was looking to the local law force due to the fact that he was now digging into more risky territory. Zhi hao couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He knew that his father did questionable things based on what his mom would tell him as a warning. But he didn’t think he would be the type to go this far. He honestly thought his father was content with the power that he possessed as a higher-ranked noble where they lived. Zhi hao took a step forward to try and get a better vantage point on the roof. But being inexperienced with this kind of thing he had not noticed that the surface he was standing on was unstable.
  
  All it took was one misstep and he was tumbling off the side of the roof with a loud thud. When he hit the ground the cold fear locked his body in place as he rethought everything he had done to lead to this point. He was wishing he had never decided to do this and had just stayed quietly in his room. He couldn’t bring himself to move praying that he was not heard. But of course, that was not the case. The memory of the burning rage on his father’s face looking down upon him as he just laid there in the dirt. He has never seen his father so mad in his entire life. Nor did he again. His father became extremely paranoid after finding him outside the room. Not knowing how much his son heard during that time. Zhi hao tried to play it cool and act like he was just acting out because of how he had been treated. This is not entirely wrong, but he was not about to tell his father about what he heard them discussing only moments before. He can remember how quiet and cold things were the next couple of days as his father debated what to do with him.
  
  In the end, his father decided he couldn’t risk keeping him around, lest he ever decides to sell him out for whatever reason. Zhi hao was to be sent as far as he could get him. Knowing what he knows now, Zhi hao doubts that his father even knows where he was going to send him. While he can’t say he was surprised when his father approached him with the news. But he wasn't hurt by his father’s decision. He had only shown interest in helping the family. At thirteen he was shipped off into the world without knowing where he was going to end up. That’s how he ended up with the Master. Zhi hao still doesn’t fully understand how that unfolded but he is happy that he ended up with Master Liao. While he still hasn’t learned how to have a better personality he has learned a lot about himself. He learned about his powers and how to use them. Using the knowledge he learned growing up he was able to get a pretty good grip on how his powers functioned and used them to traverse outside, even sneaking out in his teen years. Story
Ming's parents were farmers in a small country village. When Ming was nine his parents died of an illness they couldn't afford to cure. In her last moments, Ming's mother made him promise that he would protect his younger sister. Ming took his promise seriously. When money ran low Ming sold the farm to a neighbor, and used the funds to purchase a room at a local inn for him and his sister to live for the time being. As time went on Ming took on odd jobs around the village, from making deliveries to helping mend roofs, to keep him and his sister clothes and fed. Mings sister became the local beauty as she aged. By the time she was sixteen she was considered a local beauty. Many men clamored for her hand in marriage, but she turned down all of them. She told Ming: "I dont feel like my life was meant to be tied to a mans. Or woman's for that matter. My spirit was meant to be free."

When Ming was twenty he took a job delivering a rice crop for a local farmer to a neighboring town. In his absense a warlord attacked and pillaged his home village. Ming returned home to find everything a smoking ruin. Those who survided the raid told Ming that his sister's beauty had enchanted the warlord, and he stole her away to become his bride. In a fit of anger and fear, Ming tracked down the warlord to his encampent where he attempted to take back his sister. But he wasn't strong enough. He didnt even make it past the guards who laughed at him and stabbed a spear into his side.

Upon recovering from his wound, Ming swore he would become stronger so that he could challenge the warlord and rescue his sister from the marriage she had never wanted. He trained nonstop, becoming a mass of muscle. But it still wasnt enough. Rumors spoke of a man who ran a temple that trained mythical warriors, and Ming spent three years searching for Master Liao. In the third year, he finally stumbled upon the temple and begged Master Liao to take him in and teach him everything he knew about combat. To save his sister, no price was too high. He would do whatever it took. What Ming didn't know was that the spirit of the Ox resided within him.

Over the past year Ming has been studying under the Master of the Zodiac, but he still has a lot to learn. He wont rest until his sister is safe.

Powers:
Sturdy- Ming's abilities give him incredible strength. As he is just now coming into his powers, he is unable to hold it for long periods of time at the moment. As he trains he will eventually be able to keep it up for longer periods.

Earth Manipulation- Ming can call upon the earth to move at his will. Using this ability he can create barriers, projectiles, small bridges, and temporary shelter. Right now his structures are small, but the more familiar he gets with his powers, the more powerful his feats will be.

Stone Skin- This ties in with the previous power. While fighting, Ming calls stone to envelop his skin as both a defensive and offensive measure. The hardened stone acts as a barrier to defect sharp weapons, and adds damange and power to his unarmed strikes.
Martial Art: Bakador style ( It uses a diverse array of elbow and knee strikes, shin kicks, submissions and ground fighting. Bokator practitioners are trained to strike with knees, hands, elbows, feet, shins, and head. Even the shoulders, hip, jaw, and fingers can be used to fight an opponent to submission or death.)
