•Determined - This man is determined he didn’t suffer at the hands of his father for years just to lay back and take things from others. He’s determined to make things right and he will no matter what gets in his way.
•Clever - A very clever man he had to be to outwit his father and not suffer at his hand all the time. He also gained his mother’s smarts which makes him as deadly as a sword.
•Fair - Though he has his set ways he’s always fair and listens to both sides before making any decisions.

•When his sibling(s)/children were born. He has had many great memories however those were always the greatest. Seeing his younger sibling(s) come into this world brought a happiness to him. He vowed he would always care for them no matter what. Then the same with his children once they were born.

•When he was punished unfairly for a small slight towards the king. He was only sixteen at the time. The king had his hand bring Gawyn out into the middle of their home(starks home). Once the people had gathered they cut Gawyn’s face telling him if he cried out they’d do the same to one of his younger siblings. So he was cut in front of the people who had raised him, played with him, and had some to respect him. The punishment planted a deep seed of hatred into his mind. Since not only did the king punish him but also his people by taking land away and sending men to the wall.

History:
•Gawyn was the first born of the Great Lord Garrek Stark. He as the heir to Winterfell was trained from an early age always being told what to do by his father. When he wasn’t training for battle his mother was teaching him other skills such as reading, writing, and other skills he would need to succeed the Stark house one day. He spent many years as the only child until his younger brother was born Trystan Stark who became one of Gawyn’s pride and joys. It was super exciting to be an elder brother he finally had someone he could protect and play with. Then not much long after he was also given a sister which meant he would have to train harder then ever. Gawyn took the brunt of their fathers anger the man was strict and unyielding when it came to his children. However Gawyn made sure their fathers anger stayed more towards him knowing he could grit and bare it for them. Then a time came when Gawyn was 16 years old King Targaryen had been visiting wanting to make sure the Starks stayed in line. That’s when it happened Gawyn being hot headed and young offended the king which resulted in a public punishment. Gawyn’s face was cut with the threat of making a sound would result in the same happening to his siblings. In front of his whole house and the people he would one day be in charge of they watched as Gawyn was cut across his face. That was the day Gawyn’s hatred for the Targaryens was born. Though his anger was quelled when he was married off to a kind and soft spoken female. She was a lovely woman who was a little older then Gawyn the two soon had their first child Alexander. Gawyn made sure to raise his child a lot differently then how he was raised. The man was still strict but very loving so it wasn’t much longer until he welcomed his twin daughters into the world. The years went by as he continued to teach and train his children wanting to make sure they had the best life he could give them. He happened upon a dire wolf one year the poor thing was starving he tried his best to care for her but in the end she didn’t make it. However she left behind a group of pups which he took home giving them to his children. He himself and his siblings had been gifted Dire Wolves in their teens so he was happy to give his children their own. The time passed peacefully enough for awhile the Mad king Targaryen began to split the houses with his madness but for now the Starks focused on the wall and white walkers. Then sickness hit the house taking out the previous Lord and Lady Stark as well as Gawyn’s wife. This lead for Gawyn to take his rightful place as Lord of Winterfell. He grieved for awhile truly being upset about his mother and wife’s passing. However he had to stay strong and do his duties as the new Lord Stark. Now everything is in chaos with the king having been killed with this news it’s lead to Gawyn planning his revenge against the Targaryens.

•He has three beloved pets. Two of them are his hunting dogs Fell and Larka they often protect his siblings for him while he’s away. While Rafe his Dire Wolf is always with him.
•He has been growing a great hatred for the house Targaryen. He believes someone else should sit upon the Iron throne.
•This man would not hesitate to harm you if you tried to hurt one of his younger siblings.
•He feeds his dogs every day making sure they’ve had meat and vegetables.

She also likes to help organize tasks and such since it’s just fun to her. Though more often then not the maids will have already seen to anything that’s not in order.
•Hardworking - A very hard working young woman. She’s always been this way since she wants to make a name for herself and get out from under her fathers dark shadow. She tends to work hard towards anything and everything that she wants in life.
•Clean - Oh she’s a bit ocd very very clean and tidy in nature. She tries to stay as clean as possible and often washes when she can. She also likes to try and keep her work clean and tidy as it leaves things more clear. It wouldn’t do her any good if something she worked hard on became ruined due to a mess.
•Creative - She’s always coming up with new ways to go about tasks or designs for clothing she makes. She also when she has the supplies and time drawing people and things she finds lovely. Cat can always be seen drawing dragons and dragon eggs.
•Strong-willed - She has to have a strong Will to get by in life. She knows if she was weak she would easily get stepped on or killed. She is no push over whatsoever and isn’t afraid to demand things. Honestly she comes off as rather blunt at times due to how she wants things.
•Regretful - She can be very regretful of the things she’s done to survive. She also knows that underhanded tactics are one of the best ways to get what she needs. She does regret having to stoop so low at times, but the rewards justify it in the end.
•Envious - She can be very envious of those of higher status. She isn’t any low born, however that doesn’t mean she’s in power to do just anything she pleases.
•Callous - She grew up with a crazy father so it’s not surprise by how callous she can be. Things weren’t all rainbows and sunshine within their family so one often becomes a bit callous seeing so much bloodshed growing up. She isn’t afraid to get her way no matter the cost.

Cat was born not long after her sister Rhaella it was said the Queen needed to produce multiple children and quickly. The rumors were spread it was in case the mad king took his anger out and killed any of his children there would always be back up kids to take the heirs place. Cat was given only a few years with their mother before their mother succumbed to an illness. In later years Cat like Rhaella began to suspect that their father had a hand in their mothers death. These suspicions were mainly due to the kings mad rambling and how at times he would mumble about the things he had done. Cat spent most her life being sheltered away from her father due to Rhaella’s caring nature and from the guards doing so as well. This frustrated Cat in the beginning when she didn’t understand her fathers madness and besides she had felt his gentle hand on occasion. Those were the years before the madness fully took him over. Cat only ever had two good memories about her father before he changed. When she was only five years of age she remembered being picked up by King Aerys Targaryen II the man lifting her up high and flying her around like a dragon. Then the next memory she had of his kindness was him gifting her a beautiful dragon necklace.



The years continued to pass without her mother Cat became closer with Rhaella who acted as a surrogate mother at times. It was always fun when the two were able to actually play with one another also Cat did all she could to mess with her beloved older sister at times. There was one year where Cat tried to leap out a very high window pretending to be a dragon. This resulted in Rhaella throwing her book and nearly trip as she rushed to save Cat from plummeting to her death. This wouldn’t be the first or last time Cat got up to something crazy. She was often being scolded by Rhaella or the guards for doing dangerous acts that often lead to an injury. Catlyn finally began settling down in her later teen years where she began to focus more on tactics. There was something about planning and plotting out things for battle that intrigued the young Targaryen. Cat having a brilliant mind began to sit in on the war councils listening and observing as they planned out their decisions.



Cat began seeing her fathers madness growing stronger and stronger as she grew older. She still remembers the terrible day her sister was stabbed in the stomach when their father had a sudden bout of madness. This is when she truly learned how crazed her father was with Rhaella out of commission for awhile Cat suffered at her fathers hand. He would spout hateful words at her and grip her wrist hard enough to almost break it as he went on his ramblings. When she wasn’t with him she was with Rhaella helping to keep her company while she healed. Cat stayed by her side as much as she could during the long process of healing. This lead to much long after that Rhaella finally took out their father killing the man upon his throne and then being taken away. Cat wasn’t sure what to feel a numbness took over her for days. Her father and sister were both gone at the moment the two who had always been there for her in their own ways. Then her sister was returned and placed upon the throne the new Queen. An excitement coursed through Cat at this news her sister had never shown signs of madness so maybe they could live happily now. Though to her surprise Rhaella began pulling away from Cat doing everything in her power to keep Cat away. Now years have passed since that day and Cat is beginning to question her sisters motives.

  the first part of life

  Born into the Lannister family should have been Cassia's stroke of luck; being the only child, a daughter, and not graced with the looks of her mother sentenced her to a different royal upbringing. From the moment she could talk, her Lord father knew she would be of no use to the House name and attempted many times to conceive another heir, searching outside of the marriage in his efforts. One fateful night, when her Lady mother announced once more she was not bearing a child, Cassia's father beheaded her on the spot. He had many women brought to his bedside, had forced himself into other women's beds, and exhausted all options until his continuous efforts rendered him infertile. Finally, the Lannister Lord succumbed to disease and Cassia became Lady Lannister at the age of nine.
  
  Maestar Jarak, long time ally of the Lannister family, rose to the occasion to guide Lady Cassia. She was instructed in exactly how to act, think, and feel. Any digression from what was taught earned her the cruellest of punishments. All the luxuries of being a Lannister was stripped. Every small hope or dream she had was crushed. Cassia longed for the presence of her obsessive tyrant father over what she now was forced to endure.
  

  halfway through it all

  By eleven years of age, Lady Cassia understand her purpose. Unless there was an event, or people were to be around and speak with her, Cassia was to dress in raggedy dresses that hid her lithe form and hear about how disappointing she was. Her hair was not to be brushed into soft locks, so Maestar Jarak could run the comb through on specific evenings and hit every single snag as painfully as possible. She was expected to stay quiet, not speak unless spoken to, so as to preserve her voice for the one purpose she had as a Lannister - to sing.
  
  "If it were not for your voice child," the Maestar hissed one evening across the long table, "you would have been disposed of before your Lady mother." Cassia had simply blinked and returned to her meal. Yes, she thought. I would have been.

  what happens next?

  Now at fifteen, Lady Cassia awaits the day she is forced into a marriage with a man as devious as her Maestar. She knows he is biding his time for a match that would suit him more than her or House Lannister, lest he lose his power that he has become so accustomed to exerting over her. No matter, Cassia knows her future will be full of misery. She learned very quickly over the years that she did not see men the way she is expected to, whether that was due to the male figure in her life, or not. Women, however... she was unsure if she longed to be them, to be anyone but herself, or with them. Her dreams of escapism were confusing. They lied to her, she was sure. That is what the Maestar would say if he learned of her desires. But she was determined to stay silent on such a matter. Not even her voice could save her then.

  the first part of life

  From the moment Rayne forced herself out of the womb moments before her twin, she had set the pretense of relying only on herself; however, ever since childhood, Rayne has always looked to her twin Olyvar for help. Partners in crime, Rayne and her brother set out to cause chaos. With Olyvar by her side, her confidence grew, because no matter how bad Rayne misjudged a situation and landed herself in deep water, Olyvar was right there to pull her free. Eventually, it came to an end and her brother grew more wary of spurring Rayne's recklessness. Under the watchful eyes of her siblings, she began to rebel hard. What use was being royalty and not constantly pushing the limits, enjoying what life offered them?
  
  The first time Rayne snuck out as a child into the Shadow City on her own to seek out adventure for herself, she found herself in awe of the women with swords, drinking until they were pink in the face, and luring men into dark shadows with a twist in their hips. She wanted that. In fact, that was the day she had discovered she wants, and wants, and wants.

  halfway through it all

  When their father died, Rayne relied heavily on her siblings to get through the sudden grief, until her spirit turned to stone. Nothing could have prepared her for the loss of a family member, especially a family as united as theirs, but her heart grew colder and her actions turned more reckless. She had already lost something. What else mattered beyond that? Me, she decided. Did she want to live a life constantly looking over her shoulder like father? From then, she propelled herself into learning how to wield a sword and stab with enough force to break skin. It became her preferred past time, lingering near the Shadow City to train without the watchful eyes of her family. In her quest to prepare herself for the worst, Rayne also found herself enjoying the whole of what the Shadow City had to offer, spending some nights at the pillow house to learn other talents that may get her out of trouble. Or into trouble.

  what happens next?

  Now at eighteen years, Rayne awaits the day Syndra Martell finally claims the Iron Throne for herself. She keeps herself involved on the war plots, the meetings, preparing herself physically and mentally to help her older sister achieve that desire however Syndra sees fit. Crushed garnet, lapis lazuli, and jade decorate these beasts. The scimitar and spearhead are simple steel, for she finds it humorous that other Lords and Ladies of Great Houses boast & obsess over their Valeryian steel, yet they would not be enough to defend themselves from her even if she was armored with a stick.

However, the weapon she is most formidable with is the signature weapon of the Rhoynar―a tall spear with a shaft that has been inlaid with designs of Old Men of the River and Dornish sand steeds. Her noble position has given her access to swordplay masters from all seven kingdoms and so she has formed her own bastard-fighting style that can keep and armored opponent on their toes but pack powerful hits that slice through the weak spots in their joints and helmet openings.
    Because of her connection to the goddess, she often exhibits greensight, or seeing the future/possibilities of the future in her dreams. She is also able to command large bodies of water like the old mages of Rhoynar.

  Syndra's heavy fate and constant (but well meaning) terrorizing often brought with being the champion of an ancient deity has turned the girl into the literal embodiment of "an old soul." Even as a young child she could only watch her peers engage in games and other livery with those huge blue eyes and marvel at how free they all looked and acted. What joy could be possibly had with visions of winged beasts raining fire on a place a part of her called home, a part of her that felt like a pit of despair and longing from sun up to sun down and continued even when she closed her eyes? She could play with wooden hoops and splash around in the water gardens all she wanted, but even the water in the pools held grizzly memories that would play on the back of her eyelids and sent the girl into fits. When she did grow up and managed to find joys and tune out the constant drone in her head and her body, they were fleeting and too few to enjoy fully. She resented her siblings sometimes, regretted that the Mother did not choose one of them to constantly haunt even though she knew it was a great honor, but children do not care for honors. She found solace in readings and writings of history and commerce, of poetry that managed to put her melancholy moods into words, words she could read over and over again when those feelings were bubbling out of her like a swollen brook and she didn't know what to do. She knew she enjoyed a man's role, the heavy armor and boiled leathers and thrill of swordplay..and the way women would gaze at her with half-lidded eyes. But sometimes it felt like she wasn't herself, only a puppet being filled with an uncaring hand and forced to act how it wanted her to act. To make up for this sense of loss her whole life, she worked hard to fake it and built that outer shell so thick that no one could tell she had no clue what she was doing. She played the role of the eldest child, sitting in her father's meetings as soon as she returned from her time in Quarth. She held loyalty over everything, but even that had failed when the goddess had told her to take the throne...and by means that had left the girl a sickly, sobbing mess for weeks after. At least, loyal to her siblings for now―until the goddess found them as a hinderance as well. She tried to emulate the charm and sexual prowess that came unbidden to her younger sister, but her own body so used to agile maneuvers in the training field, would leave her as gangly as a newborn colt and ill spoken. Instead, she opts for silence, an open ear, and a swift sword hand.

  Background

  The eldest Martell's future was sealed as soon as their father had locked eyes with her mother who had been selling her wares on the Greenblood river. Unlike his prior conquests, his interest in her had been genuine and quite unexpected. She was beautiful in a rough way, without any finery or etiquette he was used to in Sunspear, but she held herself with dignity and commanded respect with those dark eyes. "Eyes like Dragonglass" he would say fondly, which she always sneered at albeit without her usual fire. Her father would abandon his duties to visit her if only to talk to her as she weaved nets or did healing work on those who came to her raft. Eventually, one thing led to another and soon Syndra was conceived.
  The week prior to the girl's birth was overcast with giant rainclouds that refused to pour on the river below. Their mother had refused to come back to Sunspear with their father, and so the prince found himself in a raft with the midwives as the woman went into labor. As the robust infant's screams assaulted the air , the rain finally raged down in torrents and did not stop for three days.
  With his lover's adamant devotion to her way of life on the river, the prince was forced to leave his child in her care as he went about his duties. He still visited often with all sorts of gifts, which he began to notice had been gifted to her fellow orphans of the Greenblood━ much to his annoyance. The girl was healthy and strong, and soon was able to scramble on the raft and help their mother as she taught them their way of life. Their father would join them, but there was always a sadness when he had to leave.
  
  The orphans of Greensblood were the last pure descendants of Rhoynar who refused to assimilate into Dorne. Their rafts had been crafted from the ships their ancestors had used to flee their homeland after the Valyrian dragonlords razed it to the ground with their hellish mounts. Syndra's mother and her people worshipped the Rhoyne river, who they referred to as Mother Rhoyne. They had been "orphaned" due to the destruction of their home back in Essos. Their ancestors were have said to have used water magic to defend their cities as they stood by their faith in their goddess. This magic hadn't been seen in generations, but had it awakened in Syndra.
  
  Syndra had felt the Mother even when she was young, and mother noticed as well. The goddess chose the young girl as her champion, but Syndra was still mortal, and a child at that━something gods don't understand. She was 3 when the dreams would come: vivid images of a gleaming red castle, a man with hair of steel and crazed eyes that flickered with green flame, blood that poured down the castle steps in a river, and a wisp of a girl with those same steel locks crying green fiery tears. She didn't know what the goddess was trying to tell her, but she could feel anger whenever the vision of that girl was shown. It was such a primal and unfathomable feeling of rage that swallowed her all at once that had her writhing in uncontrollable fits. He mother tried using cures and praying that the mother would relent, but the goddesses decision was final and Syndra was to carry the burden as was her destiny and the future of Rhoynar. The fits were too much as she started unwillingly using her gifts while unconscious and the river would begin to froth and rise, pitching the rafts and capsizing a few. Against her will, her mother finally asked Syndra's father to take them in and find help for their daughter. After months of threatening the greensblood, her father finally found a solution━have her learn amongst the warlocks of Qarth.
  It was risky business, but the warlocks were as wise as they were powerful despite their waning prestige. She was sent to a warlock named Oshia in his home in Qarth, and for 8 years she years studied under him.
  Syndra wasn't sure if it was the warlocks teaching, the shade of the evening she occasionally drank, or the fact she was in Essos that calmed the Mother. Regardless, the fits quietened, and the dreams still came but began to vary and show less and less of the strangers with silver hair. She grew up as did her capabilities and in turn, her restraint and connection with the goddess. Oshia taught her alchemy and how to use her elemental powers, the tongues of Quarth and Valyria, as well as hiring scores of fighters from Westeros and Essos combined to hone her into a warrior. "You may be destined for magics dear daughter...but no heir of mine will be unable to carry a spear." Her father had said before seeing her off. The little girl with a spear two times her size was an entertaining spectacle, but as the years passed and the quiet, sullen girl grew as fast as wheat. She was soon as tall as her spear and knocking the smiles off of the same faces that had jeered at her. She stayed in Quarth for 8 years, returning to Sunspear on her 13th nameday and quickly assimilated back into the role as heir. She sat in on her father's meetings, continued her studies, and practiced her swordplay with renewed vigor. She had never been a lively child, but her family noticed that the girl was more stern and just as troubled, but now with more control. The greensight would show that same girl, and Syndra grew to resent her simply because of how much she had haunted the darker girl’s life. Sometimes she hated her less when the greensight showed her sometimes cowering from the adult targ with those fiery green eyes and sagging jowls, reaching for the girl with those jagged yellow nails…but when a twang of sympathy would pang through her the scene would be replaced with fire. Fire raging down on homes and marketplaces, beautiful gold and crystal spires bubbling and melting as the dragon lords of old smiled at their slaughter. Syndra would try to close her eyes but the goddess would howl and press on, making the dream so vivid syndra could feel the heat of the flames scorching her skin and the screams of those burning around her came from all sides. DID THEY HAVE SYMPATHY FOR US DEAR DAUGHTER? and syndra would do her best to hold herself together until the goddess’s rage slowly trickled out and she was allowed to wake up again. She stopped being sympathetic after that.
  She grew up to be a deadly but beautiful woman, but there was no love for her. People were loyal because they were scared of her. And they should be.
  Her father was scared of her, that was for certain. He felt no trace of familiarity towards the hardened girl that came back from Quarth with faint blue lips from shade of the evening who rarely spoke and spent her time training or reading. Syndra felt love towards the man, however, which made it hard to slide the dagger in his chest. At least he deserved the respect of seeing his killer and how sorry she was. She wasn’t even sure it was her who had found the courage to push the thin blade but the goddess. She said it was the only way father…you were in the way…I would’ve never been able to contest the dragon queen without the house of Sunspear behind me…she said it was the ONLY WAY! She had fled when the warmth in her father’s hazel eyes had left and a single tear had fallen. The blade, a Valyrian steel dagger with a golden dragon with emerald eyes, was left in between his breast. The goddess tried to comfort her, but Syndra pushed her out for the first time and wept for days, weeks. As Dorne turned their hate towards the throne, seventeen year old Syndra woefully let the band of gold and rubies be placed on her head with her men and siblings watching…may her siblings never find out what she did. Would you make me kill my siblings Mother? she silently asked in that moment. She heard no reply, and that was more disturbing than a yes or no.
  And so, Syndra Martell ascended to the throne and soon began preparing for a war that would shake Westeros to its very core.

    Like any wolf, Freya is loyal to her pack; her family are the most important people in her life and she would do anything to protect them. Making sure those that she cares for are safe is the main drive behind her desire to learn how to fight; she was unable to keep her mother safe and she fears loosing anymore family members. Freya is very protective towards her family members, but because of this, she can be a bit reckless at times in her desire to keep her loved ones safe.
    
    Hunting with her father has taught her how to observe her surroundings but most importantly, how to be patient. She tries to employ this skill when she is training but there are times where she gets frustrated with herself for not executing a move perfectly or messing up on a sword strike. She can't help but compare herself to the other fighters that she is learning from and there are times where she feels that she is not good enough.

    Early Life

    Freya is the second oldest child of the Lord of Winterfell, born a couple of minutes ahead of her younger twin sister Maerie.
    
    Growing up, Freya never enjoyed learning the activities that were expected of her as a lady. Sewing bored her to tears and she always felt restless if she had to stay inside for too long. Instead she would follow her father, uncle or elder brother around, watching them with curious eyes as they practiced and sparred with their swords. One day her father caught her attempting to mimic the moves she had seen and soon after that he began to teach her the ways of combat, much to the displeasure of her mother.
    
    Freya devoted herself to learning everything her father taught her, a desire to make him proud driving her forward even when it was difficult. When she was fifteen, a sickness took her mother and her grandparents from her. Those dark days left an impact on Freya and to this day she she still wakes up from nightmares of the sickness returning and taking the rest of her family members.
    
    

    Present Life

    Loosing her mother fanned the flames of Freya's determination to protect her family. Being a girl and a daughter of a Lord, she knows that it is expected of her to be married off to the son of one of the other Great Houses, but Freya does not plan to go without a fight.

  Trystan is scrappy and mischievous, a fun-loving fellow who's just a bit too immature for his age and status. Charming and flirtatious, he has a seemingly endless inner well of confidence that some would interpret as cocky or arrogant--and they wouldn't be too far off, though his cocksure attitude is balanced out by a playful puppy-like demeanor. Trystan has little to no interest in his position as a highborn son and all that it entails. He lived an idyllic, carefree life following around his older brother, Gawyn, and playing with his little sister, Imogene. Learning swordplay and archery, climbing the castle walls, and scheming up ways to avoid his studies.
  
  Trystan was a happy-go-lucky child, always clowning around to entertain others or make them laugh. While his loving mother indulged him, chuckling at his antics and silly made-up stories, his father ignored him completely. The more the boy tried to get his father's attention, the more he was ignored. While Lord Stark was incredibly cruel to Gawyn, he saw his eldest as the competent one, and his younger son as a useless fool. It had its perks though.   With a tight smile, and friendly demeanor, Lyarra is perhaps one of the most innocent sheltered girls in Westeros. Delighting quietly in the presence of other people, she silently follows around her siblings, parents, and even the servants while she does her tasks so that she'll never have to be alone in a room. Too awkward to say much in front of strangers, she showcases affection by simply staying present and hanging around the other parties. Other than that, she doesn't talk much, for fear of saying something wrong, as she understands how truly powerful words can be.   Lyarra was spoiled rotten even from birth. Seeking whatever company she could, she spent her younger days trailing around the place with a doll in hand, just sitting and staring at anyone she saw in her own odd way. She was an uncharismatic child, often lacking the proper words to express her desires. After all it was rare for her to desire anything she couldn't demand wordlessly when she was young, so how could she learn to do it now? Staring, and attempting to be coy and subtly ask for wishes was a method she'd perfected through trial and error.
  
  Though she loved her parents dearly, she wasn't exactly the best at cultivating a relationship with them. Love was not expressed through words for her but accomplishments. Being the most talented, most obedient girl in Highgarden was how she loved. And that was the habit. To do what was asked with no comment to express that sort of love.
  
  As she grew older, she developed a sort of friendship with a daughter of a maid. Through the daughter, she learned of the existence of romance novels. Tales of dashing men and beautiful princesses and true love. Due to her suspicion that her parents wouldn't enjoy their daughter's head being filled with sentimental things like that instead of pragmaticism when selecting a partner she had decided to keep her mouth shut. To this day she hides all the book she was lent in her cupboards, switching where it is every so often.
  
  It was a welcome fantasy. She'd been told to keep her guard up, always remember to play the game and things like that. She longed for a life which the books presented. Where she'd never have to measure words or wonder if she ought to hide her desires.   When he was younger Olyvar hungered for the glory that came with winning duels and jousts as the third heir to Dorne he never expected to inherit and so focused on earning himself reknown in other ways - he worked to become one of the best Knights in the seven kingdoms. Now he enjoys hawking and archery and working to master them both. He helps breed Sand Steeds and finds it to be rewarding work, he spoils the foals and enjoys taming the wild colts.     Early Life

    Maerie is the youngest Stark, born just a few moments after her twin sister, Freya.
    
    She enjoyed a pleasant childhood at Winterfell, raised by her loving parents, wise aunt Imogene and goofy uncle Trystan. She always adored her elder brother and cherished twin sister and would do anything to spend time with them. This meant the bookish girl would learn things like riding and archery, though she's still nowhere near as good at the latter as her more athletic sister and brother.
    
    As she was always tiny for her age and lacking in athletic prowess, Maerie was more of a bookworm type. Even before she could read, she'd beg anyone who was willing to read her a story. As she grew up, she devoured more and more of the books in the library of Winterfell, especially fantasy stories of wizards, witches, and magical powers. Maerie was also fascinated by maesters and reading about their scientific/medical pursuits. Whenever she got the chance, Maerie would sneak off to follow Maester Cadwyn around, watching him perform his duties around Winterfell, asking him a million questions. A kindly older man, the maester would indulge her for a while before sending the little girl back to her needlework and studies in the gentle arts.
    
    When the twins were almost 15, a sickness came over Winterfell, taking their grandparents and Lady Stark. The Stark children were devastated, especially by the death of their wonderful mother. Maerie still struggles quite a bit with this loss, though she's extremely grateful to still have her beloved father.
    
    
    

    Present Life

    Maerie has a secret dream of becoming a maester one day, though well aware she doesn't have a chance in seven hells of achieving it. In reality, she will most likely be married off to a son of a Great House, a handsome and valiant one if she's lucky. Personality: Alexander is a very expressive and passionate in nearly everything he does, he enjoys laughing and finds fun in drinking, and being a protector of the ones he loves the most. That being said he does have a bit of a temper and is easily annoyed when it comes to disrespectful individuals. BIOGRAPHY

Alexander is the first born son of Lord Gawyn Stark of Winterfell and the Late lady of Winterfell, making him the heir of the north. Growing up Alex was put on a strict regimen of studying and bladed training, due to his fathers drive to ensure that if he were to sit the seat as the lord of Winterfell, that he would know the political side of things aswell as his way around a blade. From age six until sixteen his life revolved around studying with whatever knowledgeable people his father could find, and intense training with the white wolf himself.



Throughout the years Alex fell in love with his blades and the recognition he had as a warrior, so much that in times he would forget he was an Heir and not a knight. That was until he lost some of the people closest to him due to something he couldn’t protect them from. The day the sickness took his mother after taking both the previous lord and lady of Winterfell he seen his father crumble a little before pushing forward again as always is what made him push through aswell. After that Winterfell truly became a cold place to Alexander for the first time in his life, it was during this time Alex began to bury himself in his studying and training refusing to miss out on any hunt, battle, trip that came up taking him in,and out of Winterfell before his father opened his eyes to the true dangers of being an Heir.



Realizing that Winterfell was the best place for him, he started to cut back on all the excursions and began to delve in the needs of the north, seemingly in perfect timing due to the timely death of the Mad King leaving the Seven kingdoms in a confusion fueled chaos, with potential to benefit the North greatly.

Personality: Walton had always been a quiet boy, after all growing up in the cease pits that was House Frey trains a young man that sometimes silence can bring the greatest rewards. Thus, while he was always a bright child with a mind, studying whatever the maester of the Twins could teach him, he never outright showed his ability, this resulted in his family classifying him as “Quiet Walton”. As a grown man he is brilliant in his duties, eager to build up House Freys reputation, however he is still quiet, always thinking, always processing information. After all silent deceit is what brought him the Twins, and silent deceit will see House Frey once again respected.

Walton Frey does not show many of his interests and likes, but he is always one to enjoy a game of cyvasse, or reading one of the few rare books he manages to acquire from traveling merchants. As well, he enjoys the history of various houses, aiming for House Frey to one day be regarded with similar respect. He also has a fond taste for wines from Essos, particularly the sweet red wines produced in Lys and Volantis.

Dislikes:
Despite his seemingly open adoption of House Frey’s policy of “Family unity” Walton cannot help but detest the majority of his house, believing them to be unworthy of the Frey name and a stain on their reputation (If that Old weasley bastard left any). He disdains open conflict, believing that a silent dagger in the night to save a thousand loyal men is well worth it. He takes a personal grudge against those Riverlords who insult his house and especially his name, keeping mental tabs on each lord who slighted him. Finally, while he has learned the ways of the martial lord, he prefers to not be in the vicinity of the battlefield, instead strategizing at a safe distance. Plus he has a dislike of candied almonds, and finds them particularly unpleasant.

Weaknesses: He is not a particularly strong man, his small frame never amounted to much strength growing up, so he would never become a competent soldier. While he is able to be an amicable man, for now his position as Lord of the Twins is still shaky with many male family members looking hungrily at his seat.

BIOGRAPHY
In 260 AC, Walton Frey was born the 9th son of Lord Walder Frey and the only son of Lady Allisa Mooton, 5th wife of Walder. He was never really given a proper childhood, from a young age he was already exposed to the horrors of the family as when he was only 4 he had already witnessed “Cleft Walder” perform indecent acts upon one of his sisters and “Loose Tooth Lothar” try to murder “Brilliant Olyvar” due to jelousy and the attention he got from their father. Thus he remained quiet, trying to keep as little focus or attention on himself as possible, instead focusing on studying from the Maester of the Twins, the only man who could see the brilliant and clever young child amidst this cesspool of a house. He would teach the young Walton everything he knew from economics, to the histories of the various houses of Westeros, to even how some plants could provide deadly poisons.

Walton would soak everything like a sponge, constantly seeking out the library for new books to read, on anything and everything, he even started to learn how to play cyvasse with the Maester. From this he would slowly observe his family, seeing each of their flaws, realizing bit by bit that this disunited collection of loosely tied people called “family” will tear this house apart. He would always hear the mockeries and complaints uttered at House Frey by the traveling noblemen and merchants as he traded with them for new books. Thus he came to the conclusion that only he could restore what little respect, and pride they once held, that only he could cleanse the Freys of the rotten and diseased stems so that it could grow stronger.

So after much deliberation he started to plot, at first he planned to discreetly have his father killed in an accident or with some silent poison his maester taught him about. But this proved challenging as the old man barely left his room, much less the Twins for any occasion. So he started to manipulate his brothers, informing them of how they should be the heir of the Twins, slowly he would find brothers stabbed to death, nephews poisoned, and of course if anyone wasn’t dying quick enough they would miraculously find themselves at the edge of a valyrian steel dagger. Eventually though, he would have to start culling them off himself, since the old man caught wind and became more involved in family affairs.

During a family dinner, Walton mysteriously caught the flu, excusing himself from the feast as the other Freys celebrated the 83rd name day of their patriarch. They would all watch as their father suddenly after taking a bite of food gripped at his heart, seemingly having a heart attack, he would collapse as the rest of the Freys looked on in horror. By that point the only remaining heirs before Walton was his Eldest brother and his 6th nephew, both of which accused the other of murdering Walter, and seemingly egged on by Walton they would raise up supporters within the family and start a battle in the Twins. It was bloody known in the Riverlands as “The Twin Massacre” where brother and nephew murdered one another, daughters and nieces hid for their lives, vassals fled if they could. Holed up in a small cabin in a village near the Twins, Walton would hear about the deaths of both heirs, which miraculously made him the eldest male heir of the Twins.

Upon hearing of this news Walton would at age 23 return to the Twins, taking his seat as the head of house Frey and the lord of the Twins. The past year has been mostly him cleaning up house, repairing broken relations with vassals and fellow lords, being a seemingly more generous lord of the Twins allowing trade to flow smoother, and finally ensuring no further plotting by his younger brothers and nephews where had. He has yet to have the time to ride to Riverrun to pledge his fealty and loyalty to the Tulleys amidst the chaos.

Personality: A Loud, Jolly man, always ready to outdrink his shipmates and outfight them in a brawl. He is truthful, though not always honest, especially to Greenlanders. He takes pride in being an Ironborn and keeping to the Old ways, believing the Greenlanders to be soft and childish. While he is a great martial leader, able to inspire his men to do the dumbest shit possible, he is not the brightest man in politics, either due to laziness or disinterest he never cared but anyone with slight competence in political maneuvering can run circles around this man. He also never really thinks of the end goal in wars, only about winning the next battle.

BIOGRAPHY
Born upon the windy hills and cruel black mountains, Harlan, son of Duram was born in 263 AC. He was raised at a young age from the traditions of the Ironborn and the Drowned god, the stories of mighty men of the Iron Isles raging havoc on the Greenlanders always inspired awe in young Harlan. He wanted to be just like those great reavers of old, to be infamous to those he plundered and adored by his fellow Ironborn. So as young as he could hold a toy sword he learned from his father about the art of combat.

He would prove to be talented in martial combat, at 13 he was already able to beat a boy 4 years his elder, at 15 he learned how to navigate and steer a vessel, he would study all the methods and tactics used by the Ironborn to conquer kingdoms, raid lands, and win battles both on land and in the sea. By the time he was 18 he was touted as one of the Iron Isles most fearsome young warriors and an inspiring leader by younger men. So with permission from his father he took the ship his father had built for him when he was 17, and with a crew of hungry Ironborn seeking plunder, gold, and adventure he set sail to pay the Iron Price.

He would stop at multiple Reach and Dornish towns and villages, resupplying and repairing his ship as he set sail for the Free Cities and especially Slaver’s Bay. But at each Reach village he came too he couldn’t help but think of them as weak and meek. The way they feared the rough and rugged Ironborn, the way they threw slights and insults with their idea of safety due to the Iron Thron’s ban of raiding on Westeros. They were rich no doubt in his mind, but because of those bastard lizards he would have to sail further. Thus he vowed one day that the Reach, not all the Greenlanders will once again feel fear of the Ironborn as they once did, that they will no longer slight his people with impunity.

Upon his multi year long reaving of the Free Cities and Slaver’s Bay he became infamous, his ship the “Drowned Wyk” inspired fear in many a Essosi trader. Of course he was not without flaws as many of his more ambitious raids including one of Astapor ended up not being a pleasant experience. But soon his once ragged group of young Ironborn became a hardened crew of sailors and sea dogs. Believing himself to have paid the Iron Price and acquiring many thanes, gold, jewelry, and things of worth from the sissy Essosi he set sail back to Old Wyk to rest up, train more young men, and enjoy the gold bought with steel. Upon his return his father granted him their house’s valyrian steel sword “Red Rain” as a reward for the success and to show his pride in his son.

He also enjoys jousting, combat, learning how to better hone his skills by the famous Queensguard members, always looking for a spar. He is a hopeless romantic and loves a tale of love between a knight and his queen of love and beauty, hoping even against his vows to find his Naerys. He also has a particular taste for small sweets and enjoys having one after a good day's work.

Dislikes: Men who dishonor the dignity of knights, the Seven, or the royal family’s name. He especially has a distaste for those who harm the smallfolk, from corrupt lords to minor bandits. He also hates the drab and boring politics of Kings Landing, preferring to take the quieter assignments than listen to that nonsense all day. As well he doesn’t particularly enjoy cakes or most sweet pies as surprising as that sounds.

BIOGRAPHY
Born to a small hedge knight and the daughter of a local merchant, Arvyn was brought into the world in 266 AC in a small village of the Crownlands. He grew up listening to his mother’s stories of famous knights of old, especially that of Ser Aemon the Dragonknight. A young Arvyn loved these stories and would always play with the local children, pretending to be one of these famous knights, either slaying the rebellious “Laughing Storm” or fighting off the traitorous Dornishmen trying to protect Daeron I Targaryen. Slowly he would desire to become just like these noble and valiant knights.

So he begged and pleaded with his father to take him as a squire, to study under him. For a week he would show up to the small field his father used for practicing jousting and wait. Eventually his father gave up and started teaching the 6 year old Arvyn, he would be instructed about the knight’s devotion to the Seven, something Arvyn took to heart, and the obligations that knights and especially squires had. His father wouldn’t treat him differently from any other squire, in fact at times pushing him harder than his other two wards, Arvyn would love it, the improvement in his ability grew.

As he became older he would start traveling with his father to various local and regional tourneys, watching him compete against even the noblemen. It captivated him and Arvyn would train even harder, spending many nights wacking at the cheap straw dummy he constructed. At age 14 he would be allowed to enter his first squire’s melee, where he would show his ability, swiftly and effectively defeating his opponents in honorable, single combat. His father would see the potential in him and they would take further trips to bigger and bigger tourneys, in each one Arvyn might have not always won, but he always made his name known.

Soon his father would take a 16 year old Arvyn and a small group of his squires to deal with some looters and bandits that have been causing a ruckus in the Stormlands. Upon setting up their ambush the knight and his 4 squires attacked the camp of bandits, Arvyn fighting brilliantly, defeating multiple bandits on his own. But, by the time the battle settled and the bandits either fled or lay on the ground dead or dying, Arvyn could see one of his fellow squires holding the bleeding form of his old man, he had taken a nasty wound to his abdomen and was not likely to survive. So with little time left on his hands, Orys would grab his sword and knight his young son before passing away.

In grief Arvyn would spend a few months living with his mother, doing nothing but waking up, eating, practicing in the place he and his old man used to live in, and sleeping. Soon though his mother fell ill and passed on too, Arvyn would fall deeper into grief, crying into the still form of his mother. He pledged to them and the Seven that he won’t rest at nothing until he becomes a knight of legend, until his name is spoken with those of the Dragon knight and of Duncan the Tall. Gathering what little equipment he could, Arvyn would travel from keep to keep, competing in jousts and melees, proving his name amongst the greatest young knights in the realm.

Eventually he competed in a tourney at Kings Landing, and while he performed admirably, unhorsing several worthy opponents and noblemen, he was eventually defeated and unhorsed himself by the commander of the Queensguard. However the lord commander saw his ability and requested the Queen to induct him into their order. There was no truer honor, and seeing the possibility to take the same path his heroes were able to take, young Arvyn would say his oath and become the young member of the Queensguard.

  Rhaella was a girl who was always destined to be queen and was reminded of this fact every day of her life. She grew up fast because of this and from a young age was notably observant, clever, and rather cunning though her kind heart kept her from causing trouble. She was more concerned about reading people, seeking out their true intentions, and being ready for anything thrown her way. She knew her father was not well for years, possibly before most others caught on, and she would present herself as a buffer between him and others to keep from the madness being exposed too greatly as well as to keep others from getting hurt. She has always believed that it is her role as a royal to bear burdens such as her father’s wrath so others would not have to. If she were to truly become the queen she would need to be ready to endure whatever it took to keep her people and her family safe even if it meant putting herself at risk or doing something terrible for all the right reasons. That is exactly what led to her eventually being the one to slaughter her own father. He was crazed and dangerous, people were suffering and his actions put countless including Catlyn and herself at risk. There was no question in her mind about what she would do because it was her duty to protect others, it was her burden written into her blood. Rhaella will always be the person to make the tough choices because she does not wish to put that weight on the shoulders of others. Some might view being a royal as a free pass to do whatever they wish but Rhaella views it truly as a responsibility that she does not wish to fall short on. She cares deeply for people and makes sure to remember the names of all her guards, all her staff, and even those who might be deemed the most insignificant of servants she will go out of her way to connect with in some way. When she was younger she was known for always having a gift to give guards and staff on their birthdays and even now she tries to uphold that tradition to the best of her ability. Unfortunately in recent years, the queen has begun to notice her mind beginning to work against her. She is still in what she hopes to be the early stages of the Targaryan madness but occasionally she will see things no one else does, hear voices no one else hears, and momentarily lose herself before regaining her grasp on reality. She is keeping it as secret as she can, pulling away from those she loves more and more to keep them safe, and trying to fight her descent into madness in any way she possibly can. Rhaella is a fighter, she will not allow herself to fall into madness as easily as her father did, she will do all she can to keep her head above the water for as long as she possibly can. She just hopes that she will know when she cannot fight anymore before it becomes too late, she does not wish to become the monster her father was.

  BIOGRAPHY
  Some might believe that being a princess means living a life without worries or fears but for Rhaella worry and fear were some of the feelings she knows best. Ever since she was small she has noticed little things her father did, the ways he slipped, she witnessed his descent into madness and knew very well it could be her family's downfall. Her mother died when she was young due to illness but Rhaella always believed her father might have played a hand in it. She watched him and those he kept close like a hawk every day of her life, keeping her focus on him and his focus on her so Catlyn would remain out of sight and out of mind. Any love that Catlyn might have lacked from the loss of their mother and the actions of their father Rhaella made sure to make up for as best she could. She would spend hours with her sister or set up activities for Catlyn that would keep her away from the throne room, or out of the path of their father in the hopes that it would keep her little sister safe. Rhaella was not that lucky however.
  
  One day during her studies in the library her father entered and sat across from her. At first he seemed more lucid than usual which caught Rhaella off guard and raised several red flags. He asked her about her studies, looked through a few books with her, and quizzed her on their history. It was the most fatherly he had been to her in years and Rhaella knew something was about to happen. His tone began to change as the conversation drifted from past, to present, to future. Her father began to look at her as if she were only half there and something else was lingering behind her. At this point, she was on full red alert and ready for anything to happen. The king began to talk about how kings came and went but he did not wish to leave and that she could help him stay. Not long after that, the crazed king lunged at her and she threw a book at his face before hitting him with her chair yet still he pursued her. In his hand was a dagger and he began screaming that her life given for him would allow him to live for years longer than he naturally would. It was crazy and the chaos quickly drew the attention of the guards who broke into the library to find the king smearing his daughter's blood over his face and Rhaella on the ground bleeding out after being stabbed in the stomach by her father.
  
  By some miracle, Rhaella managed to survive that day and after several weeks of recovery with Catlyn by her side she was finally back to full health. The time she spent healing she also spent strategizing and thinking about what her fathers madness would mean for her family and their people. Already the people were rising against the royal family, her father's madness becoming known across the kingdom. Rhaella knew that if she, her sister, and their people had any chance of surviving and healing that someone would have to slay the kind. She knew full well that her father's death by her hand would likely result in her own demise but she would rather die ending such a monster than allow him to live and bring them all to hell with him. Ready and willing to kill and die for the good of the many Rhaella slaughtered her own father when his guards would not. For days she remained locked up, her fate unknown, more than half expecting to be beheaded for her actions and accepting of that. She made sure the council knew they had two paths to pick from, kill her or make her queen. To her surprise they went with the latter and made it clear to them that she intended to take no husband as she took the throne.
  
  Several years have passed since the day she was made queen and despite her best efforts the lords and nobles have begun to seethe with hatred towards the throne once more. Rhaella has done her best to bring peace to the kingdom but as she has begun to feel her own madness grow she has distanced herself. Begun to shy away from others in an effort to have her slips remain unseen. She does still present a strong and unwavering face to the public, and does her best to help those who need her, but it grows harder each day as she feels her mind turning against her.

  Personality: Larra isn't like most women in Westeros, she is strong, fierce and independent. She will let no man tell her what to say or do or how she should act unless that man is paying her damn good coin, and even then he had better mind himself. She is no ones play thing, she is no ones toy, she is a warrior, a fighter, a killer and she is damn good at what she does. Of course since she is a sell sword her skills and loyalty can be bought but if she likes an employer enough it might make her not wish to seek out further contracts or make her less willing to be bought off. She is certain to tell each of her employers that if someone with a bigger purse comes along she will do what is best for her business, but deep down she would likely stay loyal to someone she has been through a good amount with. She can be crude, direct, and even disrespectful, using her looks to lower her foes guard then striking when the time is right. She does not often show mercy but refuses to kill an innocent child, she would never harm one so young. Deep down Larra has a good heart but she knows that having a good heart doesn't mean you will survive the cruelty of the world and so she will do whatever she needs to in order to make it to the next day.   Growing up is tough, but growing up alone on the streets is far tougher. This is the life Larra knew for as far back as she could remember. In her mind there are no memories of warm hugs, soft kisses, or lullabies to drift off to sleep to; there is only the need to survive and the pain of being too weak to protect herself. Yes, growing up alone on the streets is hard, especially for a beautiful little girl. She cannot remember every face that caused her pain because there are too many to count, people took from her what little she had, called her filth, beat her, and far worse. Eventually, Larra became the property of a low life who forced her to steal for him, to serve him and do anything and everything he wished. When she didn't obey his orders or even if he had simply had an off day she was what he took out his frustrations on in the most unspeakable ways that have left scars she would carry for the rest of her life. Life held no joy for Larra, only fear and a need to survive, a need that grew as she grew and became stronger as she grew less scared and more enraged at being the property of this man and the way the world treated her.
  
  Eventually, one night when her master had had an off day and taken to the ale he came to her to try and release his frustrations on her by beating her senseless. When he grabbed her she fought back like she never had before, she struck out and her most basic instincts told her exactly what she needed to do to survive and so she killed him. Blood poured from throat and dripped from the small blade in her hand and for the first time Larra felt free and felt true joy because she had finally become strong enough not to just survive but to take a hold of her life and protect herself. After that night Larra set out to learn from any who would teach her the art of combat. She was determined that she would never again fall prey to the cruelty the world shows those who are weak. She trained with some of the most elite fighters in Dorne, Braavos, and all throughout Westeros. She spent time as an assassin and follower of the Many Faced god of Death, she fought alongside the Dothraki for a time, spent some months training alongside the Unsullied, and became a legend in her own right. With her skills creating a name for herself Larra became a sellsword who worked for whoever would pay her best.   Personality: Waverly may be a member of the Night’s Watch but that does not make him a brute, in fact Soren is a rather gentle man who takes great care to avoid harming others (meaning the innocent) as best he can. He would never intentionally betray anyone which is why when you tell him something in confidence you can be sure it will go no further than him. He is an excellent secret keeper and a very trustworthy character who quite literally will take secrets with him to the grave. Harsh words and mocking do not often phase him and you will find that it is much the same with threats, he has a thick skin and does not easily react or lose control which can make him hard to read as well as hard to get a rise out of. Despite being one of the quiet types he is not all that shy but instead holds himself with great confidence and when he sees the need to interact with others he will do so with matching confidence that will often still come across as humble but firm. He is very much one for respect going both ways, if you respect him he will respect you, if you show yourself no longer worthy of his respect he will treat you as such since he will not give freely what is not earned. Undeserved acts of violence or cruelty towards others is one way to lose his respect as well as provoke him to attack, something he does not often do since he works hard to keep a cool head.   He was apple of his father’s eye. Growing up Waverly knew his father had seemingly impossible standards, that the bar was incredibly high, and yet despite being the second son Waverly managed to meet every challenge set before him with grace as he triumphed over it. It was never his intention to outshine his brother, to make him feel as though he were not fit to lead House Baratheon one day, that was all their father’s doing. Waverly was just trying to be a good and honorable man, not for his father, but for the girl he had loved since he was six years old. He wanted to be a man who she would feel safe with, who she knew would provide her with a grand life, he wanted to be the perfect man for Letta Tyrell. Every challenge he overcame he did so because he knew Letta was watching him. Her future was tied to him from the moment they first met, and Waverly wanted nothing to jeopardize that because he knew she was his just as Letta knew he was hers. Their love gave him life, motivated him at every trial, gave him the drive to prove to her and her father that he was the only choice of suitor for her. Everything was working out perfectly, the families had agreed to the match seeing that it was not only a true love match but would also benefit both houses. With the wedding just two days away Letta was travelling to Storms End when her small convoy was attacked by unknown culprits that slaughtered almost every soul in attendance. One guard barely managed to escape with his life and made it to Storms End with just enough breath left in him to tell the tale before succumbing to his wounds. Instantly Waverly with a heavily armed platoon of soldiers rode to the sight of the attack and found corpses hanging in trees, limbs splayed across the grass, and several people barely hanging onto life. Waverly searched the area for Letta only to find her strung up in a tree with barely any life left in her. Quickly and carefully he cut his gravely injured love down from the tree and tried to apply aid to her wounds. With the last ounce of her strength she pulled his hands away from her wounds and placed them against her face. She told him that she didn’t want to die without being held by him one last time and Waverly was unable to refuse her request. He held her in his arms, her blood soaking him as he pressed kisses to her forehead and told her how much he loved her. The moment her soul left her body it took part of Waverly with it and the young man was never the same.
  
  It took weeks for Waverly to reappear before others after Letta died. He went off into the woods with a few trusted men and wasn’t seen or heard from by anyone until one day he and a few of his men returned with hollow eyes and blood-soaked clothes. Countless stories and theories have been passed around as to what happened in the time he was gone but not long after Waverly was once again packing his bags with the intention of never returning. He told his father, mother, and brother that he was going to join the Night’s Watch. It was far too painful for him to live this life without Letta by his side so he would forge a new life at the wall. Part of his decision was made when he heard word his father intended to have him marry another and Waverly knew he could never allow that to happen. His life and love belonged to Letta, he would never be able to love another woman as he did her and anything less than that would be unfair to his unknown future bride. Lord Baratheon was of course livid that his golden son was abandoning his duty to his house but Waverly knew that his decision was for the best and left without another word.
  
  Years later Waverly Baratheon has become Deputy Commander of the Night’s Watch. He helps to lead the men at the wall, has seen his fair share of the lands beyond, and knows of the threats the kingdom faces. He has recently been tasked with traveling from House to House meeting with lords and ladies to explain the dangers that lurk beyond the wall as well as recruiting more men to join the Watch. She is an incredibly skilled actress who can make you feel like you are the most incredible and important person in the room when truly she finds you boring and not worth her time. She plays the airheaded ditzy young lady role around most because then they feel freer to speak and plot around her. In truth she is very intelligent, cunning, and clever. She can be very seductive when she wants to be but also make herself appear as pure and innocent as an angel. If you are her friend she will have your back through thick and thin and if she truly trusts you she will allow you to see her true and clever self.   BIOGRAPHY
  House Frey was the laughing stock of the noble houses for far too long. That is what little Kyra has believed ever since she was a small girl and she knew that someone would have to fix it if the Frey’s were to remain strong. Too much of anything could be bad and it seemed her father had too many children for the house to remain strong. No one ever suspected that Kyra would be capable of dealing with the overpopulation but she found ways of removing a son here and a cousin there without anyone ever suspecting she was involved. She was after all adored by so many in House Frey for her natural beauty and grace. Lord Frey knew that she would be a wonderful bargaining chip one day and treated her kindly, often spoiling her more so than the other girls. That of course made the ladies hate her but they never stood a chance of doing anything to her with all the eyes on her.
  
  When The Twin Massacre occurred, and House Frey became a war zone a few of the ladies in the house attempted to off Kyra but little ditzy Kyra was far more prepared than any of them expected. As they tracked her to her room and barged in they were met with little needles to the neck that had them paralyzed within a few heartbeats leaving them wide open for Kyra to swoop in and slit their throats as they lay helpless on the ground. Kyra later played it off that the ladies had all been hiding in her room together but were found and she barely escaped with her life. Of course, everyone believed her because she was so sweet and far too stupid to ever be capable of such a thing that the idea she had killed them never crossed their minds. Now Kyra has aligned herself with her half-brother Walt, the new Lord Frey, and has shown herself to be an ally worth having.     Not one for boredom, Varo likes to add spice to his food and life. In the moments he is not needed, he can be found at a multitude of inn's, taking in the music and drinking. He takes great pride in being useful and needed, taking his job as a sellsword seriously. What makes part of his job fulfilling is the good company he keeps around himself.

    Due to his job as a sellsword, Varo has found himself in a multitude of situations in which he has discovered a great dislike for most nobles. Furthermore, the greed of them and others that required his services in the past. Even as a sellsword, there are things Varo just would not do for some shiny coins. He avoids writing wherever he can, preferring to conduct business in person as he never had the chance to learn such things. If the job involves him being in confined spaces then forget it, it's not worth it.

It's part of his stubborn nature, which has landed him in hot water one too many times due to how Varo acts on emotion. Heart over head. The impulsive behaviour he exhibits can cause Varo to severely misjudge a situation, even if the sword has already been swung.

He is able to diffuse a situation with his charismatic words, or with a sword, depends on the man on the other end, truly. Varo takes great pride in being dependable, having worked at the pleasure house for two years, he cannot see himself being anywhere but where he is needed most.
  
  The toll that takes on him is achingly transparent at times. He settles his nerves with drinks, with distractions, with anything that can take his mind off of the real reason he had his heart set on protecting these women. Why, even though his head is full of thoughts that plague him whenever there's too much quiet, he would never allow the women to sway his heart. I won't be like them, he swears, and feels the truth and weight of that within his chest.

  the first part of life

  Born in Pentos, Varo's father Vargen was a struggling merchant and his mother Rosha did all she could to provide for their son. Varo had been privy for many conversations on how to bring more money into their small household, and when he learned what those words meant, he was sick. Rosha conducted her business in their family home, just a room away from where Varo slumbered, and when Vargen grew agitated with the sounds, he ordered her to stay in a local pleasure house. But by that point, the relationship between them had soured and Vargen was bitter, bitter that he couldn't provide enough to change the circumstances, and bitter that he was not the only man in Rosha's life. His mother turned cold, hardly returned home, and soon the money they were used to surviving on grew less.
  
  By seven years, Varo was shipped to Braavos to learn how to wield a sword and fight. He learned the Water Dance, how to throw and take a punch, to get out of situations as well as getting into them, when to retreat, to rely on swift movements instead of armor. If he fight for any high paying Lord or Lady, or anyone in need of services to be quite honest, then Varo could help his father. Maybe even his mother.

  halfway through it all

  Into his early teen years, Varo suffered an injury. See, Varo was not one to half arse anything. He put his entire being into what his mind was set towards and it resulted in overworking his right shoulder. This small injury has landed him in a spot of trouble time and time again, but it was nothing he could not talk or sneak his way out of. On one of his first jobs as a sellsword, Varo was instructed to execute a false merchant that was poisoning his wares in order to lower business for another man's trade in favour for another. Varo simply did not understand why he had to use a sword, when the merchant should experience poison itself. From there, Varo was hired by a naval captain that needed his services in hijacking ships and bringing them back to Braavos. Greed blinded Varo momentarily, knowing the money offered was enough to buy his mother's freedom and maybe rekindle his parents' relationship. He learned the ropes of sailing, of tracking in the sea, and spent the better part of his teenage years throwing men into the ocean.
  
  When he returned home all those years later with the money to buy his family back, he found his family home abandoned. Vargen had left for Voltanis, apparently. Having met a young wench that could've been Varo's sister. Rosha, however, was buried underneath the pleasure house. The owner told him she couldn't allow the woman to be thrown in the streets after the suffering she had endured in her final moments. With no home, Varo packed up and headed for Lys.

  what happens next?

  Lys opened his eyes to more than just inventive ways to kill. The culture, the music, the women... he had found his home. He developed a habit of drinking the long nights away, where he lay awake and picture what his parents' lives had been like when he was in Braavos, what his parents life could have been like had he not been born. He took every small odd job he could, just to pay for more drinks, when finally he stumbled across a woman at one of the many pleasure houses on the island. There was fear in her eyes and a desperate plea for him to buy her that night. Her gaze shifted to a man across the room multiple times as she shuffled towards Varo. "Please," she whispered under her breath, laying a gentle hand on his wrist. "Do not let him take me tonight." Varo didn't let the man take her, but neither did he for himself. He saw in an instant what his mother had put herself through, how hard it must have been to come home some nights and face her child. He offered his services to the house, to keep the women safe and wash away the guilt eating him from inside out.
  
  When Aleron Tyrell entered his life, Varo's priorities became askew. He introduced the finer parts of what Lys had to offer to the Highgarden heir. Indulging in all the spoils of Lys, drinking, laughing, telling stories, sharing traumas. With Varo's connections within Lys as a protector of the pleasure houses, the two of them became a package deal when lending their services as sellswords. You hire one, you get the other. When Aleron eventually returned home to attend to his duties as a noble, Varo began to slip back into bad habits, wishing his friend would return. Aleron was his best distraction.

  adria is, like others of her house, pretty tough. though she expresses this inner strength in a more subdued way, adria is never one to shy away from calling someone out or doing what needs to be done. while her youth makes it diffiult for her to discern which battles are worth fighting, this trait will likely serve her well in the years to come. with others, she is warm and accomodating, and relishes in any company who happens to visit pyke-- though this is not common. over the years she's observed the men around her, and noted the ways that they've managed to ensure their success. as a result, adria can be quite charming, and finds is fairly easy to get what she wants, or to remove herself from unfavorable situations. adria's interest in books has lent her a sharp mind as well, though she feels stifled by the expectations placed upon her by her father and highborn culture at large. in some ways she can be pretty naive about the world, and lacks appropriate 'street smarts' despite being strong in other respects. when stressed she has the tendency to become easily agitated, and may not be able to hold her temper when others cross her. this indicates some measure of emotional immaturity, which is likely to wane with age. adria is also passionate about her hobbies. she is versed in things like plants, herbs, and the native fauna of the iron islands, and she may be able to use this to her advantage in the future. *personality may evolve with the roleplay, and as I get a better feel for how I want to play her !

  adria was born to the lord and lady of the iron islands, and the youngest of two other siblings. her childhood and adolescence was somewhat uneventful, though adria does have fond memories of her parents, playing with her siblings, and exploring the shores as a young child. as to be expected, she was taught things like sewing, history, and proper etiquette, but as she grew, adria found these things to be limiting to her sense of ambition about what was beyond pyke. as it became evident that she was to be prepared for marriage, adria became increasingly uncomfortable. she resented knowing that her existence was to be secondary to a mans, and that her father in some ways was to use her for political and monetary advancement, whether she liked it or not. while unsuccessful at marrying in her mid-adolescence, adria did have more time to cultivate a plethora of interests and personal goals as a welcome substitute. she does spend much of her time alone, but still finds company in the maesters and ladies tasked to house greyjoy. some of her goals include things like learning to navigate, overcoming her fear of the ocean, and in a more general sense, experiencing the world.

  when adria was a toddler, her siblings decided that they wanted to take her to the seashore not far from the castle. adria managed to find herself in the water, and before long she was almost swept away by the current. though she didn't quite drown, the experience has left her with an ironic, and lifelong, fear of the sea. *If this seems unreasonable or unlikely for the additional characters involved, please let me know and I'll delete/change it.

  lady morgana greyjoy, mother -- adria's relationship with her mother can be tense at times. while she loves her mother deeply, and realizes the sacrifices she must have had to make as a maiden in her own time, adria feels that they don't always see eye-to-eye. her mother's fits of hysteria could be terrrifying and confusing, and overtime adria learned to suppress certain parts of her personality that may not have been "ladylike" or otherwise acceptable. in some ways adria wishes her mother gave her the same freedom as she did towards her other siblings, who've spent years reaving, sailing, and doing things the old way, as greyjoys should. despite their differences, lady morgana is still adria's closest confidante, and in many ways her best friend. in their best moments they have an amusing and envigorating back and forth with one another, which allows adria to feel appreciated.

  Markas was born in 245 AC to the late Payten and Arlenna Lannister. He was the second son of the family line behind his brother Rendal. The two of them competed with each other over everything. Whether it be swordplay, horseback riding or penmanship, it was all a contest to outscore each other. Sometimes their competitiveness became rather violent, resulting in scrapes and bloody noses. There was one fateful day when Markas was heard screaming in one of the stables. The riding master found him on his back in one of the stalls with a broken leg. Unfortunately for Markas, the wound never healed properly and he began to fall short in some areas in his teenage years. By age 13 he began having trouble climbing the castle's many flights of stairs. Eventually, he required a cane just to walk around. Maester Jarak assured the family his condition had plateaued, but at this point it was very clear that Markas was lame.
  
  While Rendal would go on to squire for a great lord and learn the intricacies of warfare, for Markas those doors had been closed. He instead cracked the books, learning money management under Maester Jarak and interning under his cousin Jarreth of Lannisport. It was there he found his true calling, exacting each copper, silver and gold coin from taxes and improvement projects. He eventually made a name for himself both in Casterly Rock and abroad as a shrewd businessman with a sly and cold temperament. They called him the "Blackfox".
  
  His brother's recent death left House Lannister in a heap of trouble. Not only did Rendal have the arrogance to slay his wife like the High Executioner, but he only managed to produce a daughter. One 15-year-old girl who, by Markas' estimation, was way in over her head. She required expert council during this time, not just from maesters and retainers but her own uncle. Then, maybe, just maybe...their house would survive another generation.

  Tylar was born on the same calendar day that a fallen star crashed into the Mountains of the Moon thousands of years ago. It was considered destiny that he should grow to learn the ways of war and one day wield the ancestral Starscream. His father, Lord Ethon, believed it to be a coincidence. He believed one must be proven worthy to do something so important, and so he raised his son with high standards.
  
  His sisters Maygen and Kiara offered some respite from his rigorous upbringing. They often invited him to games of monsters-and-maidens and hopfrog, memories of which he cherishes to this day. He developed a protective tendency as Tylar's instinct as a brother kicked in. All the boy courtiers in Westeros had to get through him if they wanted to date his sisters!
  
  When he turned ten-and-fifteen, Tylar squired under Lord Rylen Royce of the Gates. He had already learned how to care for horses, read and write dispatches, and even sparred with his father at the Eyrie. However, it was under Lord Rylen where he proved his true grit. In 260, he fought alongside the knight he was sworn to at the Battle of the Stepstones. He defended his master to the best of his abilities, shielding him from several near misses with Xhobar Qhoqua's band. At week's end, he was among several hundred boys and men knighted for their service.
  
  The interim years signaled a calm where a man like Tylar could start a family, and so he did just that. He married [INSERT NAME HERE] and they had several children together. He devoted himself as best he could to them, spending quality time but also passing on what his father taught him.
  
  There came a tumultuous moment in history when he would be tested beyond ordinary men, beyond even a seasoned knight. In 277, King Aerys II was kidnapped by the Darklyns while attending a banquette there in the man's hall. Lord Denys had not only become a traitor but violated guest right, which could not go unpunished. Tylar volunteered personally to lead the forlorn hope against the Dun Fort. With House Arryn's ancestral Starscream, he and a hundred men stormed and took the walls with great casualties. However, they cleared a path for the second wave and he soon joined them when taking the keep. This is where he struck down Lord Denys in single combat, effectively ending the siege.
  
  Something changed Tylar that day. Perhaps it was the sheer amount of senseless death, that stench of fear among the commonfolk as many were cut down. He'd never seen so many babes ripped from their mothers' arms only to be thrown over the walls. These images would haunt him for years after he swore never to take up arms again. He effectively renounced violence and moved House Arryn's seat permanently from the Eyrie down to the Gates of the Moon. This is where a small godswood still existed. Here, Tylar felt a sense of warmth, a source of tranquility that required daily devotion. He found himself forsaking the Seven and turning to the Old Gods, learning their words. Although at times, there's an expectation if this answer will hurt another she would die before saying it.
  
  Lily always sees the good in people even when it's not there. Even when she knows she is being lied to, she always has faith that their empathy will click in. For Lily, even accepting the thought of someone she cares about lying to her isn't real. She believes that anyone is capable of redemption and that murder is never the answer. A little too idealistic for most but Lily would rather die than pick up a weapon and end a life. Sometimes she wonders what in her sister snapped to kill her father right there and then not to care about the consequences.

  Lily Targaryen was born into a fractured family. Her sister was her only source of happiness. However, her young self never stopped loving her father. It was all she could do. He was the mad king to all, but to Lily, he was her shield. She made it a routine to give her father flowers whenever she could. To most, they looked like dried-up roots, but they were a precious gift to Lily. Those flowers graced her father's room every morning until the mad king hurled a beautifully sculpted vase at his daughter's head. Despite his madness, the mad king never hurt Lily, but this time was different. Lily couldn't understand why her father was like this as a child.
