|Personal Information|

Personality

Morgrim is a harsh person, he can be unforgiving and downright rude a lot of the time. He doesn't like people he think are less intelligent then himself, and he considers most people to be so. If he is to like somebody they must be able to surprise him and impress him. Few though have been able to do this though. Morgrim otherwise is bipolar in personality in thinking. He doesn't like people very much, but when he is put into a group he usually finds himself becoming the leader. While he can be cruel and violent to many people, he has a soft spot for the innocent and will never harm someone he thinks is undeserving of it. He will also be one of the first to defend the innocent. Morgrim is also very intelligent and level headed, but under specific circumstances he can fall into a blood thirsty rage where he will try to kill what he sets his gaze upon.

Morgrim had suffered horribly after a traumatic experience when he was a child, and after that he became a quick descent into madness. He now seeks only to grow stronger, and eliminate everyone from the paladin order. Should he seen anyone wearing their banner he will forsake what little humanity he has left to slaughter them. When he is sane he behaves methodically and often plan ahead, and strategizes. When he isn't he will fight wilder then any beast, and it will be nearly impossible to calm him down. Morgrim has a hard time behaving civilly around others, because he hasn't been around many people for almost the second half of his life. He doesn't understand subtly  or even manners, he will often invade personal space, and take what he wants, and this has gotten him into many fights and misunderstandings.

Background

Morgrim grew up in the Eldergloom Sanctuary, a peaceful sanctuary that revolved around finding the peace and beauty in death. Morgrim was a student that desired nothing more than to go to the Sanctuary's college and learn the arcane arts. He met his best friend Luna there who became both his rival and friend. He also discovered his purpose, to attain knowledge and power, and to become powerful enough to defend what is good. He quickly learned that he had a gift for magic, and excelled in necromancy, an art that was not forbidden at Eldergloom. By years end he was already studying in advanced arts and learning material years or even decades above others, he was a prodigy. Still though every step of the way he was beaten by Luna, but this didn't drive them apart, it made her sort of a teacher figure to him. To him everyone was family, and he wouldn't trade what he had for anything.

Morgrim learned everything he knows at that school. He studied day and night both in magic practices and arcane study. He learned about the different continents, the cultures of each faction and city, history, geography, religion, he wanted to know everything. Nothing was off topics for him and he eventually went on to study more advanced and secret studies that were reserved for the arch-mage. Whatever Morgrim read or saw he could memorize for life. His sleep schedule and even eating habits eventually grew abnormal, and so too did he. He devolved into a hermit and spent more time in the library then in his room or with friends. The boy grew strange, but he could still manage his personality, but it would only get worse.

By the end of the year he was sent on his final exam before he would be officially allowed to take advanced studies that were meant for students who had all ready been in school for at least half a decade. He and his rival Luna ascending through class faster than any in history before them, he was happy and proud of himself. His exam was to survive a night in the Eldergloom forest using nothing but the knowledge he has obtained, and a simple hunting knife. For most it was suicide, as the forest housed many monstrosities, in fact most students never undergone the exam or even made it that far, but Morgrim did not fear the night or its monsters. He went out, and didn't look back, but the true danger was marching upon the village. Morgrim fought tooth and nail, relying on quick thinking and his magic to survive every challenge he faced, barely eating and getting no sleep by sunrise he was exhausted and hungry, soaked in blood and covered in mud he had survived. He trekked through the woods, barely escaping with his life only to see the burning remains of his village.

The smell of ash and blood resting heavy in the air, and it was so thick he could choke on it. The burning bodies of everyone he knew was burned into his memory, he could barely recognize them. The only sign of the attackers was the flag buried in the ground, bearing the mark of the paladin order. Morgrim looked upon it for hours, his vision turning red as visions of what they did to his loved ones burned through his mind. He shed tears for hours, feeling the pain of everyone he lost, hating himself for not being there to stop them, he swore revenge, he swore he would make every paladin feel the pain of death they wrought against every single villager a hundred times over.

He spent the next two days burying the bodies, and carving the name of everyone who died that night into stone so that he would never forget them, and never forgive the attackers. After that he searched through the remains of every building for anything and everything he could use to aid his mission, and upon searching the library he discovered a hidden room, a vault of sorts containing ancient and powerful artifacts and sacred knowledge, among them he found his cloak, armor, weapon, and the artifact called the black star. Looking to be nothing more than a smooth black orb it held a secret power, and as Morgrim touched it, it shattered and dissolved into his body, quickly mutating him. It took away his humanity and made him closer to Necros the aspect of death by turning him into a powerful zombie like creature. He gained new abilities, and the ability to use the incredibly rare poison magic he had began his first steps in taking down his enemies, but he had lost his sanity and humanity in the process.

Magical Abilities

Poison Bomb III - Morgrim is able to use poison magic in a variety of ways, either by making traps and runes, or by using it as a projectile. At his current level he can create a variety of different poison times. Some will burn flesh or armor, some can create a gas that can explode when combined with fire, and others can can send targets into wild frenzies

Fire Breath I - The spell is basic and allows Morgrim to imbue his breath with fire and breath it out as a projectile. It has high damage and a good area of effect, but the caster needs to be able to breath, and as the fire makes it difficult to breath it can not be used for long or at all when incapable of breathing

Undead Summoning IIII - Morgrim is a master necromancer, and can summon or raise all sorts of undead creatures to fight in his stead. The cost of the spells vary, small and weak minions being easy to cast and only taking seconds, high level creatures however taking much longer, and costing much more ether, but yielding monstrous creatures that can destroy most foes with ease. Morgrim can create new summons by experimenting on the dead, and tying their soul to his.

Bone Manipulation I - Morgrim can create bone weapons and armor while slightly weapon they help provide additional defense for him even if he is without weapons or armor, slashing weapons have less effect, but piercing and blunt weapons have higher chances of breaking the armor.

Phylactory I - Morgrim has learned the ritual to lich-hood His life essence has been removed and is contained within a special object that looks like an amulet with a small black gem in the center. If Morgrim's body should be felled in battle he will be revived sometime later nearby the amulet. However he will be severely weakened for a long period of time, and have access to only a rank I poison bomb spell. If at any time his phylactory is destroyed whether he be alive or in the ether he will die so he must be careful.

Armour

Weapons

A staff roughly five feet in height. It's form changes to mimic the element or the elements of the wielder. For Morgrim the stuff is a corroding skull staff that oozes acid

Strengths

Intelligent - Morgrim knows nearly if not everything there is to know about Aldurin. Skyshard is beyond his academic reach, but everything else he knows.
Powerful Artifacts - Morgrim has gained his powers from an ancient artifact and uses special equipment that gives him an edge in combat.
Strong Willed - Morgrim is a natural leader, and cannot be swayed easily either by bribes and threats, or by attacks that would affect his will or spirit.
Undead Fortitude - Morgrim has an undead body, and thus can take seriously damage. He doesn't feel pain either so he can continue in a fight longer then most.

Weaknesses

Poor Perception - Morgrim has no sense of smell and a weak eyesight, so most of the time he has to rely on his hearing.
Smells Like Death - Morgrim is legendary for his smell, and thus sucks when it comes to sneaking because anyone with a sense of smell can detect him from a hundred feet away.
Undead Curse - Much of Morgrim's body is rotted and thus his physical strength is diminished to nearly nothing. He can't carry much and all his physical attacks are weak.
Undead - Nearly all NPC's will Shun Morgrim for his appearance. No one will want to do him any favors.

I'll try fixing it later. Also, at the very top you're meant to replace [Character Name] with Morgrim and whatnot.
