GM
All characters are present in a standard hangar bay, commoners and business officials bussle about getting ready to take flight for whatever buisness they intended. There is a terminal with a tired looking Ajara, their flat grey eyes scanning paperwork and directing people to the correct bay.

The bay is huge, the ships inside seeming small in comparison to the gapping maw of the building, that led out into the runway that would give them the space to take off into the sky and above.

As part of the Umbrae you are aware that you have to skip that process and find the correct ship on your own; you reflect back on the message you had received via your telecom on your wrist:

Attention [Insert Name] your Team has been assigned, Welcome to Stage Two.
Team: Vipers
Leader: *Temporary* Sasri
Ship: TU45621
Position: [Insert Pos.]
Report to Bay 6, Hanger 12, city Jero, planet Neros.
Good Luck.

Stage One was a mismatch of partnerships and solo missions, as the Umbrae strongly believe that you must first be capable on your own before you can get the benefits of the Family. Depending on what position you strived for, this could mean a gallery of different missions.
But for some reason or another, you have now been deemed fit for Stage Two.
Now to find your ship.

Alyosha Eveline

“Well.... just the last few moments before I join up with my crew.... I just hope that it goes well.... I didn’t do all of that work just to be given a crappy crew... already hard enough just by working by yourself, but with others that you basically have to carry around and babysit all day... I rather say goodbye and go find another crew worthy of respect...”

A tall and quite meanacing looking figure in full combat armor said to itself in a male voice... not caring in the slightest that he was speaking out loud for all to hear. They probably share the same feeling with him, but his words were rather harsh to begin with, a sign that he wasn’t joking around even in the slightest. And that was the truth... in order to have a functional crew, each member of the team must complete their role as efficiently as possible or else risk tumbling the entire tower just because a few brick was missing and put more stress upon the other bricks, making it more easier to tumble down once enough force was applied to it. It’s how many groups have been fallen over the ages, because one or more individuals weren’t pulling their weight and was dragging down the entire group with them... and he didn’t want that happen to him as well.

Just walking down the hangar bay with a sigh, the man instead focused on arriving exactly on time to the correct ship located within Bay 6 of Hangar 12. His tonfa, or baton, was currently attached to the front of the left side of the belt on his waist, currently hanging from there and occasionally moving a bit with each step that the trained close quarters combatant took. For now.... he just gave a sigh within his mind, keeping it to his mind only, as he thought to himself:

‘I won’t fail you now Mother and Father... I’ve gone to far to give up right now... not when ‘victory’ is around the corner.’

As a few more minutes later, he finally reached it... ship numbered ‘TU45621’, sitting within Hangar 12... watching the space shuttle he would eventually go inside of rest there in all of its glory, waiting to be activated. Now, it was time to wait and see who else arrives... as he began to occasionally look around himself for anyone that even seems like entering Hangar 12, best be prepared for everything, and began to think once more inside his head... was he really the first one to arrive here? He could only think about this as he stood there, arms crossed and gaze wandering about the Hangar, waiting for something interesting to happen.

Sasri
As she had been taught by her Space Mom, Niq, Sasri was inspecting the outside of the ship for any last minute issues that could've arrison since the Umbrae cleared mechanic took a look. Niq's insistance on checking everything herself was probably paranoia, but Sasri still followed her advice, there was nothing worse than encountering an avoidable issue in space.
As she moved her gaze over the standard ship, she already missed her personal beauty, this one was rather ugly in her opinion. Luckily the standard black lessened that aspect of it. But she still let out a sigh of dissapointment.
Her gaze flickered to the man staring at the ship and lookin about expectantly, she ran a hand through her pink hair, he must be one of recruits she was supposed to...guide.
She approached him, her hoofed feet clacking on the metal hangar, looking him up and down she spoke "Together?"
If he completed the phrase she would know he was apart of her new crew.

While he was busy taking a look of his surroundings... the last sight of this place before he will head off into the cosmos above, he heard the clacking of hooves behind him... most likely another individual, as he then turned around to face... a creature most people of his history, especially those of religion would call a ‘demon’... but to him, it was just another sentient species, that was a potential crew mate if they were approaching him and not anywhere else specific in the hangars, considering there was only him and the ship lying in wait here. Then, the all common phrase came out of her mouth, clearly waiting for a response from him... to which the man just stared for a few seconds, which may confuse others as him in a state of ‘daydreaming’, before saying out loud in a audible enough tone.

“....we stand.... moving on now, I take it you are one of the crew mates assigned to this ship over here...”

As he turned to face the ship in question, his arms now unfolding from their crossed state and pointing his right arm at the ship, before crossing them once again and facing Sasari once more, saying to the person.

“The name is Alyosha Eveline... Close combat specialist... nothing else to know about me, anything else and it would just be useless information.”

The man stated in a neutral tone, that held a sort of seriousness added to it. Doesn’t seem like the one to talk as evident by the latter part of his statement about ‘useless information’. Now, currently going through the soldier’s mind... is where the other members of the crew may be, and how long it would take for them to arrive, and while it was good that two, him included, were already here... he rather expect them to arrive exactly at time in a few more minutes, or else, he would already begin to think of how inefficient they are with their time unless something stopped them on the way here.

“....we stand...
Sasri
Sasri nodded upon hearing the words that confirmed his membership, " A pleasure Alyosha, I am Sasri, I will be acting as your Guide, until your team is deemed ready, and a team leader can be appointed."

She began making her way to the back of the ship where the hatch was located, her tail swishing and flicking behind her, "We can wait for the others inside if you would prefer, I'll keep the hatch open." With that the seems of the door began to steam and a draw bridge hatch lowered to the floor.
She understood that it may be difficult for some to find the ship at first, and wasn't expecting for everyone to arrive till at least a few more hours passed. Who knew where the crew mates were coming from. Then again, she viewed all members of the crew with low expectations till proven otherwise.
She decided mentally that she would make some tea.

Vela--

Vela was a bit nervous as she approached the ship. So far she had only been working on individual assignments, remotely charting out courses. Sometimes the pilot would ask her for clarification, but for the most part she'd had very little interaction with the people she was working with. This morning, in her anxiousness to make sure that she had everything, she had put aside the trepidation about working with a team for the first time. Yet now, at the hangar bay, it came creeping back. Vela had always worked best on her own, but now that was not an option. The best thing she could do now was keep her head down, do her job, and avoid getting in her crewmates' way, and she was determined to do just that. She checked her telecom one final time to make sure she had it right, and took a deep breath.

Alright then. You aren't doing anyone any good dawdling around.

The ship was smaller than Vela was used to, as she was accustomed to traveling on larger passenger ships. There was no one on the outside of the ship, but the hatch was open, so she assumed that meant she was free to board. Still, she made her way up cautiously.

"Uh, hullo?" she called, feeling a little self-conscious at the sound of her own voice. "I'm Vela Neeri, and I think this is where I was told to go?"

Sasri
Sasri had already begun making some tea when she heard the voice of another potential crew mate, she turned and smiled at the young looking female, "Perhaps it is, Together?"
She asked, already pulling out a second cup from the cabinet, just in case she wanted a cup as well, she already guessed that the girl had the correct ship. She didn't seem the type to get confused, or confident enough to try to sneak on board a ship she wasn't supposed to. But it was protocol to always ask before releasing any private information to a new party.

Mace Gladwine
Mace were eager to begin their new journey. It was something they had never thought to do before. They were so used to working alone; which was odd due to their personality. Maybe they were so outgoing because they were socially starved. They craved the touch of people and the feeling of interacting with someone other then... Well targets. The opportunity to get to know random strangers, well that's kind of how it worked, was exhilarating. They were so ready to spend time with these people. Their new crew, their new family. Well at least that's how they'd hope it go.

They had arrived at the place at least an hour early, 'cause knowing them they'd get lost.... And they did. Several times. When they finally made it to the ship; they were already in the building for at least an hour and a half. Crazy, but they were hard set on finding the ship. They did; after some time. Daisy was asleep on their head. She was happily nestled in their hair; where she had made a home of in the last hour or so. Mace knowing that she was asleep; was trying their hardest to not move much. And of course knowing them they tripped; Daisy went flying off of their head. She let out a very interesting yelp as she flew through the air. Mace themselves yelped as they fell.

Mace got up rubbing their head. Low and behold when looking up they're they. They almost forget about Daisy until she lets out a yelp for help. Mace jumps and rushes forward to find her. "Daisy!"

Vela--

Vela felt a wave of relief wash over her. Any remaining doubts about whether she was in the right place dematerialized. She completed the phrase: "...we stand!"

It was then that Vela took a moment to look around. It was less cramped than she had expected. The shorter lynix woman who had greeted her appeared to be making tea. She must be one of Vela's new crewmates.

You're being rude-- Introduce yourself!

"
Uh, yeah, I'm Vela, but I already said that..." She rubbed the back of her neck ruefully and tried out an awkward sort of half-smile. "I'm the navigator, I suppose."

Aki
Interactions: Syfer Syfer (Mace)

Aki was a mix of emotions but mainly nervous and exited to see what was going to happen next. Over his shoulder was his backpack containing his gear among other things. He was really nervous to meet his crew, hoping that they weren't a bunch of idiotic trigger happy men who took the job to earn a quick buck. As he entered the hanger containing the ship he stared in awe at the ship looking mainly at it's massive guns. Upon scanning the ship it also appeared to have an unexpected addition, a cloaking device. Aki quickly estimated the cost of having a fully armed ship with a cloaking device and it certainly wasn't cheap. He relaxed a bit knowing that whoever owned it wouldn't hire idiots unless.....he stole it. Aki shook his head and pushed those thoughts aside and decided to take his mind off it and to look for his crewmembers. When he heard someone talking he spun around and walked over, it appeared to be a man with appeared to be a Chinchilla. Aki somewhat disturbed by him walked up to him slowly and tapped his shoulder.

"Uh Hi?"

‘Sasari’..... well, he didn’t know that he needed a guide... but it’s quite possibly for the rest of the teammates. He didn’t think he had any other reason to have a guide other than the fact that their team isn’t ‘deemed ready’ yet and a team leader hadn’t been appointed yet.... well, they better get in it over with already, can’t wait forever with their choice. And then he was offered to go inside of the ship... pointing in the direction of the hatch to enter the shuttle, to which he nodded... for there is no other reason not to go inside and prepare already.

Some time had passed, and Alyosha was performing another check of equipment to make sure he wasn’t missing anything important now. His tonfa was still hanging onto the belt on his waist.... good, his suit’s power source is currently working at around ‘98’ percent battery, excellent, and removing a ballistic projectile pistol from its holster, made specifically to fire bullets that pierce armor without any form of energy shielding, removing the nag and checking the bullets within the magazine. It seems that all this be bullets were accounted for, even the one within the chamber, as he then put the mag back inside the pistol and placing it within its holster once more. He finished just in time to hear a voice calling out, to which he turned to face a woman of humanoid structure, having blue skin and four eyes... as he spent a few seconds keeping an eye on her, his gaze unwavering, before the guide went ahead with the usual phrase to see if she was a member or not.

He couldn’t care less about it, considering he isn’t the... ‘greeting’ type per to say, but he did keep an eye out for any other members arriving to the area. And oh boy.... what a strange bunch they had, for the next person to come in was seemingly a human at appearance alone, but looks can be deceiving... and what happened next is something is something that he would already not enjoy. It was the sudden awakening of the.... ‘Chinchilla’ on their head that jumped off it, making the individual that it was resting upon fall onto the floor. It hadn’t been even a few seconds of arrival before they went ahead and made a fool of themselves.... they must be given a close eye upon or else risk the ship being pulled down along with them.

He couldn’t care less about their ‘pet’, it wasn’t his to begin with... so he didn’t care any bit about it. He might even give it a kick if it went his way, but he wasn’t mean enough to do that... don’t want to make others think he was a ‘monster’ in their eyes.

And finally, the current one to arrive was yet another human seemingly human.... and by god, was no one here equipped of armor of any kind? What do they even have if they find themselves in combat with another individual... and while Alyosha knows he can handle himself, seeing the others not even having basic light armor is a worrying thought.... because he doesn’t want to be the only one in combat pulling his weight, what would happen if he went down? Would they be doomed with no one stopping the enemies from getting closer, or what if their foes get behind him and strike the more vulnerable targets? Blah, no need to think about that for now... as the new arrivals then walked up to the previous one, saying a small ‘hi’ to them.

Hmph... already, and it seems like his current crew may be a hassle unless this was a rare event in their life... well, considering he wasn’t the guy to go say ‘hello’ and start a conversation, he merely watched all of it go down, his arms crossed, and his ‘mask’ being unfazed by all of this... although its difficult to tell with the helmet he was wearing on his head.

Sasri
Sasri nodded in approval at Vela, "Guide us well then, I hate fiddling with computers," she spoke honestly, exasperation bleeding into her tone, "I much prefer blowing people up."
She turned to the two newcomers to the ship, "Greetings, Together?"
To be truthful, the protocol got on her nerves, and she was glad the last two stumbled in at the same time. Speaking of, her gaze dropped to the...small rodent? That she couldn't deny was cute, but hadn't seen before, she hadn't known many people with 'pets'. She knelt and held out hand for the rodent to smell, 'Daisy' if her memory served her correctly, was the name the recruit had called it.

Mace Gladwine
Mace was blushing heavily. They had just walked in and had made a fool of themselves, but what could you do about the past. It was bound to happen eventually. They had just hoped it wouldn’t have been automatically. Before they were able to scoop up Daisy they feel a light tap on their shoulder. They turn to see a young man standing quite unsure of himself. “Ah, hello! Together?” They knew the introduction well and all. They weren’t going to talk to him if he didn’t answer right.

They turned to the next lady that had spoke. They smile at the greeting. They give a light bow of respect; acknowledging the fact that they’re a superior. “We stand. Hello I’m Mace the Technician.” They give them a warm welcoming smile, and a small laugh as they lean down to greet Daisy too.

Daisy sniffs the girls fingers and takes her finger giving it a light tug. Some sort of handshake. She was trained good and well. Daisy shuffled back to Mace, and crawled up their side. She nestled on their shoulder.

That’s when they saw the giant well.... machine. They don’t hesitate their eyes widening. The gears in their head seeming to turn. They step forward and without asking place a hand on their arm. “Fascinating.” They nearly breathe out the word. Then they start muttering to themselves in Latin. It’s unclear what they’re saying, but Daisy looks excited too. She’s pacing back and forth between their two shoulders. They then realise what they’re doing and pull away quickly. “Haha! Ah sorry about that.... umm... Together?” It was a little late but they still said it anyway.

Aki was really confused by Mace's greeting. He nodded and bowed to Mace "Hi, my name's Aki nice to meet you Mace, what do you mean by together?" When the other people came Aki nervously turned to each one of them and bowed as well "Hi, nice to meet you two, my name's Aki what's yours?" When Mace started to poke around Alyosha Aki tapped their shoulder again "You are aware they are a person right? There's a heat signature inside of them"

Alyosha Eveline

While he was busy keeping an eye on the others.... he seemed to have thought about something.... now being dragged out and into his thoughts... thinking to himself. On how far he has came here... the years he had spent, first started out from a young child... watching the night sky, hearing stories of his ancestor’s ancient beginnings on a different planet, on how humans once lived a planet with a wide and vast ecosystem, changing from the deepest valleys to the tallest mountains, changing from time to time. On how he wanted to join the stars above, going back to where his ancestors had first lived, and see what happened to it and it’s fate... seeing the effects with his own eyes. It was only then, he was brought back to reality by someone grabbing his arm, to which he turned his head to face the individual in question... which was the individual with the Chinchilla earlier.... their eyes in a widen state as if he was the next big thing in existence. He was about to move his own arm back until they pull away, saying a small sorry and then saying the part of the phrase.

‘..... why.... just why... didn’t their parents taught them not to touch strangers.... especially without consent.... Hmph, at least it isn’t that much of a thing to worry about... just don’t want this happening again.’

He thought to himself, and thankfully, a individual who now called himself ‘Aki’... and called the other ‘Mace’, good, at least his knew their names now, no need for introductions other than his own name. This... ‘Aki’ individual seemed rather formal and polite in the eyes of Alyosha, and also pointed out that he had a ‘heat signature’ within him, to which the man just did a small cough, as he spoke up.

“Aki speaks the truth... I’m a human... just like the many others of my species. I just be happen to be wearing my combat armor as of now... and for you Aki, not all machines are the same, some have energy sources that create heat, while others a different.... depends on the model.”

The man said, responding to the both of them, waiting a few seconds, before continuing with

“The name is Alyosha Eveline, close combat specialist.... nothing more to know about me...”

He had finished saying, now awaiting a response as he looked back at the guide of the group, waiting for something to be said from them.

Sasri nodded in approval to Mace, but narrowed her gaze at what appeared to be a...high quality mech? No..James was a mech, this one seemed...different. She was puzzled, but put that aside, "If you can not answer, explain yourself immediately, as the individuals that belong on this ship should all know that- Aki." She spoke much colder than her older tones, her readability slamming to a close on her features.
She understood that the individual may just be that new, but she couldn't merely throw away protocol either.
"Here's your second chance, Freedom or-" Her gaze burned into Aki, if they failed once more, they would need to be removed immediately until their true identity was proven. An Aki was on the list of crew members, but this could be a fraud for all she knew.

After Alyosha spoke Aki looked clearly annoyed "What does me being an android have to do with me pointing out that you were a human?" When Sasri spoke Aki flinched due to the sudden change in tone. He thought for a moment before remembering the response to her question. "Freedom or death right?" Aki hoped he had gotten it right. He quietly scolded himself for not catching on earlier when Mace first talked to him. We waited for a bit before asking "Did I get it correct?"

Wow.... he didn’t expect that kind of response from Aki.... he didn’t even knew he was an Android until now... was he mistaking something he had said? Nevermind that, he needed to defend his point here.... after all, he was given a response... so he said back with a hint of seriousness and neutrality within his tone to Aki

“I wasn’t implying anything at all... didn’t even knew you were an Android until now. Guess that’s save me the trouble of figuring out who you are... but right now....”

He had said, crossing his arms once again and then leaning a bit closer towards the Android.

“.... if all it took was a simple misunderstanding about me talking about other ‘robots’ instead of you in this context... I take it we won’t get along very well unless you start understanding the true meaning of what I’m trying to say. Maybe your the problem here.... but I don’t care, as long as you do your job, you can insult me all you want.... I rather take some back talk and insulting instead of having the entire crew fall apart due to one individual not playing their part. And don’t take this as ‘hostility’, I’m merely stating the truth in less than friendly ways, not good with that kind of talk anyway, so might as well tell you the truth.”

He finished, with hints of venom within his tone, but he was speaking the truth throughout the entire time. But as he uncrossed his arms and began looking around... he thought to himself about something, was he able to achieve his dreams.... was he gonna be able to become one with the stars, sailing across the endless void, traveling from star to star, and especially returning to his species’s home planet... making his parents proud of him in the process.

‘Hopefully, everything will go alright.... and I will make sure it will go well....’

Sasri visibly relaxed after Aki finished the statement, "Yes that was correct, and for future reference, please respond with 'We Stand' as the completion of our moto." With that she tapped on the screen on her wrist once, and the hatch door began to close, "Oh sorry, everyone is ready to get going correct?"
She was already heading back to the kitchenette that her tea had been resting on, grabbed her cup and took a sip, before striding to the front of the ship and buckling into the pilots chair.
"Navigator, your seat is up here." She pointed to the co-pilot seat, that had a wide screen displaying the map of the stars, zoomed in on our current location.

GM
As Sasri moved to the front of the ship, the ships sleek walls seemed to ripple, more seats came out from them enough for everyone. And a robot arm came out of the wall to put the empty tea cup that Sasri had forgotten back into the cabinet before disappearing with the kitchenette into the wall.
The space on the ship seemed surprisingly open, and you could see corridor like space that must lead to everyone's respective rooms.

When Aloysha responded Aki calmed down a bit and nodded "Yeah, sorry I jumped to conclusions a bit fast and you can trust me to do my job. All you need to worry about is doing your job well, also you might want to take that armor off when we talk with other people. I don't think civilians are exactly comfortable talking with a man walking around in a massive suit of armor" He turned to listen to Sasri and waited for her to finish before nodding to Marcus and Alyosha and heading inside the ship. Once inside the ship Aki wandered around for a bit and got the layout of the ship. Then, he opened the door to one of the cabins. He threw his backpack in it and went back to find Marcus who was the only one besides Sasri who seemed easy to talk to. When he approached him he bowed again and waved. "Hey Marcus!"

Mace Gladwine
Mace was taking aback by Aki's words. "Of course I know that!" They said in response to Aki. They were a little angered that Aki would think so little of them. They could sense full and well that the machine was just a covering for a body. Of course no one else could. Mace turned to the creature in the suit once again as, he?, speaks. They give him a small, very small, smile. "Oh I don't have parents. Although I will admit that I did act out of que." They give a bow of their head; a show of respect and apology. "I do apologize. Don't worry, It won't happen again." Their smile grows and they laugh a little; out of both nervousness and the fact that they had just made a fool out of themselves.... again. They think for a moment allowing the machinery around them to flow into their mind. For a second they're lost in the ware and works. Then the gruff voice of the suit, they had taken to calling him that, rattled their sense back to reality. They tilted their head to look at him. They became rather excited with his words. "Oh! You're human!? Wow!" They're whole demeanor of that of excitement. They open their mouth the say more but clamp it shut when he speaks. Alyosha, what a unusual name. They thought to themselves. Mace started to repeat the name over and over again in their head. They didn't want to forget. They were about to respond, but he seemed not to care. Mace was a little hurt but shrugged it off.

They turned now to the other person there. A blue skinned four eyed girl. Mace smiled and approached them. They already knew that everyone there was part of the team. "Hey." They said with a joyful tone. Once they were practically ushered into the ship; Mace went on complete fix mode. They pulled Daisy from their shoulder into their purse. They made sure she was secure before they started mapping out the ship. Their eyes glowed with a light blue passion. Their movements ceased. The only thing on their body that moved was their chest; as their breathing was quite shallow it was barely any. They were in spirit projection; looking around the ship making sure everything was alright. They stayed like this for a few minutes.

When Aki approached them they weren't aware of him there. They stood still their soul off venturing the ship. After a moment they had gotten back into their body. They smiled and looked down at Daisy; whom was happily sleeping in their bag. They smiled at her and turned coming face to face with Aki. "Ek!" They had gotten startled and jumped a bit. "My gods!" They steadied themselves and then looked back at Aki. "Ah, can I help you mate?" With this situation they started thinking. Perhaps they should tell the crew about their... 'Illnesses'. They cringed at the thought of it, but it had to be done or something might happen. So far they hadn't had anything happen to them in their paused states, but better to be safe then sorry.

When Marcus jumped back in surprise Aki flinched. He didn't expect Marcus to have such a surprised reaction. Aki pushed that aside and handed Marcus a datapad containing the ships information, supplies and related information. "Here you go! Also you'll need this for the cloaking device" Aki handed him a large stack of papers containing rules, regulations, laws and maintenance guides for proper use and upkeep of the cloaking device. "Anything else you need?"

Vela watched the new arrivals warily. They seemed like an alright enough group, though some of them quick to take offense. She'd have to watch out for that. (The one in the armor was a little intimidating, but he seemed content enough to keep to himself, as she did.) The one with the chinchilla smiled and greeted her. Vela smiled back. She didn't mind animals so much and this one appeared to be trained well.

When Sasri had pointed her towards her chair next to the pilot's seat, Vela felt a thrum of excitement. Finally, what she was here to do. The ship's automated processes startled her a bit as the seats came down, and she chided herself for jumping. She quickly recovered and made her way to the front and sat down. It didn't seem like she'd have time to adjust to the navigation software, but it seemed standard enough. Vera played with the settings but for the most part they were to her liking.

She turned to their guide, next to her. "Do you have the coordinates for our destination?"

(Vera had more questions that she didn't ask. What was their mission? Where were they going? She tamped those down.)

Sasri smiled at Vela, "Right now we just need to get into space quickly, we'll look at our Quest log once we're out of orbit. As an Umbrae you don't want to stay on any one planet for too long, people get suspicious."

She turned to look behind herself, "Everyone needs to secure themselves in, I've been told numerous times that I don't have a lot of...finesse. And I don't need people getting injured day one."
The reason they actually needed to get out of here fast was that Necros actually had a bounty out for her right now, and the officials in the hangar were starting to take double takes at the ship...and her.

Usually they would look for a Quest before leaving to save gas, but she knew they'd be fine regardless, and she didn't want to put the greenies in trouble day one. That just wasn't fair.
