It was like someone placed a hundred or so microphones together, turned them all up on high and then banged pots and pans together at the end. Like multiple bombs exploding, Koko was sure every glass window in a 10 mile radius shattered and felt a tinge of regreted having Hinata break out the big guns. She covered her ears but it was nowhere near enough. Quickly turning tail to avoid being part of the aftermath, she absolutely would have lost her balance and fallen flat on her face, had it not been for Hinata's tight grip on her mid section. Thank god for that, because like Elizabeth it took her a few seconds to regain balance with the sudden burst of inner ear pain. The ringing slowly died down somewhere along the way, enough that she could hear Elizabeth's concern. She grabbed her hand and gave her a thumbs up. She would do what she could to help the poor pup out. That couldn't have felt good on her extra sensitive hearing.

Koko could barely make out another sound in the distance. The pure agonized cries of your long time best friend. She had to pretend, for just a few more moments she couldn't hear it. The Police station was just a few blocks down from what she could remember. Four streets up, two more blocks over. Next to the fire station. "KO OH SHI!" Koko took off her messenger bag and passed it to Elizabeth. She was faster and Koko couldn't resist. She looked back. There she was with a second villain she didn't recognize, holding the weakened form of Halle, standing in the clearing fog. Parts of her plastic exterior were melting and burning away. God Forgive Me. She thought looking back at the tangled mess of disaster that was Halle. The Second Villian set Halle down, glaring down the three. In a burst, he darted towards them with excessive speed.

"Super speed, five o'clock!" She shouted, forming a few smalls suns int he palms of her hands. She jumped and in the jump turned around to throw both suns at the Speed Demon headed their way. He dodged the first but didn't anticipate the other and took it hard to the shoulder. Koko corrected herself and continued running at their sides. They just needed to protect that messenger bag, and the deaf wolf girl. Above Koko a little storm cloud grew. It grew out of frustration. Fear. Anger. Betrayl... Sadness. The wind from the cloud blew her hair to and fro. The cloud fell back and landed over Speedo, offering a mild distraction. his running slowed down, especially as the small cloud rained over him. It probably felt like bullets on his skin, like holding your hand out the window of a car in a rain storm. He swatted desperately at the cloud. He groaned angrily, but pushed forward, in a blink he was right at Elizabeth's side. Koko Tugged her arm and swiftly pointed towards Speedo, who was gearing up for a punch while reaching for the bag.

Elizabeth hated not having her hearing. She was sure most people would have been pretty upset about going deaf; but for Elizabeth it was even more devastating. It had been their one advantage over the people chasing them through Hinata's fog, ruined. Her sense of smell was still strong, luckily, and she could smell a burning, plasticy scent. No doubt caused by Koko hitting Halle with her suns. Hopefully that put her out of commission for awhile, at least. Now they just had to deal with the several other homicidal villains going after them.

Koko tossed the messenger bag to her, and Elizabeth grabbed it, not needing her hearing to know what Koko wanted her to do. Elizabeth was the fastest runner of the three of them. She considered for a moment that maybe she could make a break for it--get to the police station while Koko and Hinata held them off--but she quickly discarded it. No hearing and only limited knowledge of who was chasing them made it a very, very bad idea. Super speed, five o'clock! Just barely reached Elizabeth's ears, and Koko had it taken care of, so Elizabeth focused on running. It was only after there was a tug on her sleeve that she realized that the speed villain was grabbing at the bag.

"Oh no you don't!"

She growled, lifting her hand to block a punch, pulling backwards at the same time. She tugged a little too hard, the strap ripping away from the bag. Speedo was about to grab for it, and Elizabeth did the only thing she could think of--she snapped at the villain, grabbing him by the back of his shirt with her teeth.

The average bite force of a wolf was about 1500 pounds per square inch, so it was a might tighter of a grip than using her hands, which would be what Elizabeth would say later to justified the rather odd battle decision. The speedster started hitting her, trying to get her to let go, and she refused.

"Hinata," she managed to growl around his shirt, "little help, maybe?"

"On it! Super speed doesn't mean strength!" Hinata pointed a finger pistol at the dude. "BAM!" and with good accuracy, but mostly force, a large beam of water came hurtling out of the collected thundercloud still lingering nearby, charging once again and swirling menacingly... Err... Maybe he should take better care with the thing? It was starting to look like a tornado...

The water ray continued to fire upon the once pinned super speeder, pinning the man to the wall with immense force,he wasn't sure if he was still conscious but that looked like it hurt!

However, they didn't have time to check... Poor guy...

"Liz lets go! The ray is gonna keep going just duck and run!"
