THE PREMISE

Somewhere in the near future, a world-wide reality TV show is scheduled to begin in the coming few days.
This show is called 'The Trials'.

The Trials came about when a global mega-corporation developed a device named the "ADM Reality Warper".
This technology allows characters from any form of media to seemingly be warped into existence and brought into the real world!

Manga or Comic, TV Series or Anime, anything is seemingly possible!

Unluckily for them; the future they have been pulled into is Anarcho-Capitalist, money means everything in a world without any form of government.
And for ADM, there is no better way to make money using this new technology other than to send these characters into a Battle Royale broadcasted 24/7 across the globe!

Whilst some characters from these varied types of media seemingly may have an easier time surviving than others, they have little to look forward to...
Powers and arsenals stripped, it becomes a battle of sheer willpower.

The desire to WIN!
The desire to Survive.

Will you entertain the crowd? Will you be the last one standing? Will you find a way out of this twisted game?

It's all or nothing.

THE FEATURES

1. A non-linear monthly RP in which characters are given the freedom to explore the environment they are in. The environment is made as interact-able as possible and characters are awarded both positively and negatively depending on what they interact with.
2. Players are not forced or babysat by GMs to follow a plotline or set of events in which their actions ultimately have no outcome. Everyone's character is just as important and each character has their own story in which their roleplayer alongside the GMs will create.
3. Multiple endings to the story that can happen, each point of interest will be unique, allowing for plenty of different interactions that can play out. This allows for everyone to have a different ending and unique story in the RP. There are no main characters aside from the NPCs.
4. A serious roleplay experience that rewards players who can give well-written and entertaining posts.
5. Balanced and simplistic combat system in which the victor is decided by the GMs and a tier-list of weaponry that has been specifically created for this Roleplay.
6. Any and all types of characters can find ways to succeed in The Trials, charismatic characters can charm the crowd into loving and sparing them, intelligent characters can come up with a way to escape the show, combat-based characters can fight their way to victory, everyone has an equal chance of winning in this Roleplay.
7. A Roleplay that focuses less on the smaller things and looks to create a great story for everyone involved.
8. A Roleplay that prides its-self on a serious and immersive Roleplay.

Roleplay Rules

Character Rules

No God-Modding, Power-Gaming, Auto-Hitting. This is very important as PvP can occur in this RP at any time. No Meta-Gaming. Don't use information that your character doesn't have taken from the Discord or other posts that your character is nowhere near in order to gain an advantage and track or avoid other players. It is better if you don't as we aim for interactions to be impactful and meaningful within this Roleplay. The rule on Meta-Gaming extends to essentially Fail-Roleplaying, which is the act of doing things extremely OOC and far out of line of your character. We are trying to create a serious and immersive Roleplay, please play your character to the best of your ability. If you are having any trouble with the Roleplay and/or understanding a post, do not hesitate to contact the GMs for clarification, we are more than happy to help. The GM's word and posts are final, please be kind and respect our GMs and Staff Team.

You may only sign up as Human Characters (Anthropomorphs and other humanoid races are strictly forbidden to sign up as in this RP. This is explained in lore and is due to balancing reasons which relate to our combat system and characters of non-human origin having inherent advantages over others. We also believe that human characters are grounded allowing us to keep things as simple as possible). The minimum age for a character (The character’s canon age) is 14. Any characters under the age of 14 are strictly banned as they’re essentially kids who will have disadvantages in combat and would also be fairly unethical from the company’s standpoint. This can also cause issues with RPN's guidelines as it'd be pretty bad to write about killing kids. OCs are not allowed, your character must come from some form of media, e.g: anime, game, movie, tv show, book. (This is explained within the lore and creates more notable interactions). OCs coming from canons e.g: a JoJo OC are banned. Do not pick a character solely based on the fact they are more muscular or more combat-ready than other characters. You can do this if you would like, but every character has an equal chance of winning due to systems we have such as “favor” which can reward characters for simply being dramatic and putting on a show, so do not be discouraged from picking characters who are not born natural fighters. Any and all abilities and powers that a character has are stripped from said character, there will most likely not be any way for a character to reobtain their powers. If a character comes with signature weapons or equipment, these are also stripped from said character. Clothing/armor/body modifications that a character has/uses for protection or combat e.g: Halo Spartan armor, WH40K Space Marine body modifications, bionic arms will all be removed and reverted to normal human standards (robo-implants and arms will be replaced with human ones). Skills and experience that a character has will however be retained, e.g: being more experienced with a firearm or knowing extensive hand-to-hand CQC. This is balanced by the fact that all characters will watch demonstrational training videos on how to operate firearms (Shown how to shoot and reload most guns). Clothing that does not give any advantages, e.g: Character standard clothing will not be stripped and the characters will wear their own clothes.

Dandy is not above shoving menial tasks to QT like cooking and cleaning up his Aloha Oe and grumbling how useless Meow is, and often neglects their thoughts and opinions.

Dandy is also shown to be a callous man and does not hesitate to sacrifice his crew for his own life, like abandoning Meow to the Deathgerian. Despite his boorish attitude and lax exterior, Dandy has a big heart, ready to help any female in need, though occasionally he does help males, within his interests. Examples include assisting Adélie in searching for her remaining relatives and helping Dr. H in locating Code D. He also comforts Ukuleleman as he is about to die, even though he was his enemy.

Dandy is superficial and he tends to contradict himself. In one episode, he claims to not like porn, yet in the first episode, he was seen reading an erotic magazine full of scantily-clad women. Whenever someone brings this up (usually Meow or QT), Dandy will either ignore it or blame it on something (either his poor memory, his teammates, or some other external factor).

Personality:
There's not much to talk about when it comes to Slamacow, other than his immense curiosity for all things that are new to him, he's a pretty average guy when it comes to personality although a bit awkward. He's a dork in social situations thanks to him never really socializing at all, choosing to spend his days outside of civilization and he doesn't talk much because talking isn't his strong suit. He's a mellow fellow that likes to have fun or just relax, being a really simple man with really simple wishes. He has the heart of a traveler, always trying to satisfy his wanderlust, he cannot stay in one place for a long time because he feels that adventure is calling for him, always trying to lure him into seeing new places that he's never seen before and he loves his strong need to have a brand new journey, he loves seeing places that barely anyone knows about and finding relics that rewrite history but he keeps his discoveries for himself and his two friends, he doesn't really look for anything big, he just wants to roam the world and have adventures.

Slamacow tries his best not to be awkward but he's just so goddamn dorky that he can't help but be a silly little mess up. He can be a total doofus at times and also incompetent despite having experience in adventures, he always gets himself in danger and he's kind of a coward when facing an enemy head-on, often relying on 'Tactical Retreats' to get himself out of danger but he will face his opponent when left no choice although running away from trouble when the right opportunity presents himself is his way to deal with problems when things get dire, he knows he's not that good of a fighter and he isn't going to gamble his life away in a situation that will most likely end up bad for him, he's not really a risk-taker and prefers more light-hearted adventures that won't lead to his death but he can't seem to stop getting himself into dangerous adventures because of how dangerous the world he lives in is.

Bio:
An adventurer with a sword in hand and team of two mobs, ready to take on the world. Slamacow was always a curious being from his childhood to adulthood, going from place to place and never staying put, many people from different areas have seen him come and go and he's met a lot of strange individuals in his life, he's done it all when it comes to adventures from running for their lives while getting chased by creepers, having a dance-off with a witch, exploring an abandoned kingdom infested by Silverfishes and many more and he still haven't gotten tired of adventures! The Explorer still thinks there's more adventures he hasn't done already and he doesn't plan on settling in anytime soon.

+ Swordsman:
He knows how to work a Sword when in battle, he has enough experience to hold his own against a good blade user.
+ Survival Skills:
He spent most of his life in the woods, he can live there for a long time without much trouble.
+ Quick and Fast Reflexes:
He's quick enough to dodge multiple sword slashes from a Wither Skeleton.

- Average Joe:
Other than his quickness, there's really not much to talk about, his strength and toughness is pretty mediocre.
- Somewhat Cowardly:
He prefers to escape than defeat his opponents and he heavily relies on his weapons to win, he's not that good at hand to hand combat.
- Unprepared:
Slamacow takes it easy most of the time, he's not that cautious or paranoid, meaning he can be easily ambushed.
