The conversation flicked back and forth as various new arrivals made their way into the netting room. Cisco tried his best to keep track of everything going on, but with the arrival of the group from outside it was evident that he'd missed some vital conversation along the way. It was also evident to him, that he was the only one who didn't know why they were all being assembled. Recording the audio of the whole thing was proving to be a pre-emptive move that had paid off. A couple of facts stuck out to him.

Bar Superman and Batman he was without a doubt the oldest in the room by about a decade. Everybody else was either a teenager or a person who had just graduated to the stage of looking like a legal adult. Secondly most were dressed in supersuits of some kind and all were carrying baggage, so moving into the Tower was clearly part of the deal for being there. He mentally cursed Barry again for giving him the bare minimum of details and then zipping off in a blur of red and refusing to answer Cisco's calls (normal behaviour for the speedster really). Some of the people knew each other already (Wally and Dick for instance) where as others looked just as lost as he felt. There was a variety of powers between them some metas, others clearly not, varying class types (he discerned that simply by looking at the amount of luggage and quality of clothes) and a wide range of skills sets as well as enough contrasting personalities to merit an updated version of the Meyers-Brigg test.

Superman refusing to give teleport access to S.T.A.R Labs in that unnervingly polite way of his was hardly a surprise to Cisco. S.T.A.R Labs reputation had been permanently tarnished by the explosion of S.L.A.P.A. and even all these years later the particle accelerator explosion was still the first thing that came up on Google when the labs were searched up. It didn't help that when they strayed out as team Flash they had next to no funding, depleted facilities and resources and the bare minimum of security, which resulted in some disastrous break outs and break ins where classified tech had been stolen.

But things had changed since then, they had money and funding for a start, the meta human cuffs and dampers had greatly reduced meta breakouts. Bit by bit they were regaining their reputation as a world class laboratories. Harrison Well's 'death' had greatly helped that, passing the labs into the hands of a scientist coalition had been a dramatic move, but had won over the public and press. It was during one of the press events designed to let the media see that S.T.A.R Labs wasn't the total monster it was portayed to be that he'd met Superman (or Clark as he prefered to be called in his civvies). Neither had known about the other's double life until Barry had called Cisco to say that he'd damaged the suit and also wanted to pick Cisco's brains on a certain group of metas and had neglected to tell Cisco that the phone was on speaker. The members of the League present had been subjected to a very entertaining rant by Cisco about Barry's ability to break his beautiful tech that he had laboured over for months and put literal blood sweat and tears into, before Barry managed to get a word in edgeways. "I'll do that alright."

It was Wally's comment that finally gave him a break as to why he was here. Techie, mission control Houston, ground control, tech support, Overwatch, the guy in the chair, the gadget man, Q. Whatever label you wanted to put on it, that seemed to be the role he was going to play. Which wasn't too surprising really, it was what the League knew him for (along with his dress sense, seemingly endless spiel of comic book/movie/pop culture refrences and a personality that was easily excited). None of the knew he was a meta human, or at least he didn't think they knew. All the data and theories about hismlef were in an encrypted adta base. But could they have hacked it? With Cyborg the answer was undoubtedly yes. Did they have some kind of meta detecting tech? Did Batman's suits have it? Was that why he could almost feel the Dark Knights eyes burning into him in accusition? No, that couldn't be it, he was a hologram. Was the holo pad somehow scanning him? Cisco's mind was racing, but Wally snapped him out of it with his truly atrocious name. "Wally that is an awful name. I should have you locked in the pipeline for that. Yes I fully intend to come up with something better, will get onto it as soon as possible." Cisco made a note on his laptop to do just that.

When Clark finally started speaking it confirmed his supiscions. A team was being assembled, to do the jobs that the Justice League couldn't. Of course Cisco's mind immediately brought a deluge of references to mind particularly the IMF of Mission Impossible, The Professionals' CI5 and the Pheonix Foundation from Macgyver. They have been more spy themed, but the point still stood. Clark's words were polished, precise and delivered with a practiced ease. He had no doubt practiced this speech, but Cisco couldn't help but feel like he was treating them like the press, hamming it up for their benefit. It felt stilted somehow, there were things the Kryptonian wasn't telling them. Why now? And why kids, teenagers and young adults? For what benefit? This felt more like a PR stunt to him, yet there was no media present and if it went wrong, well he'd seen the press decimate S.T.A.R Labs' reputation, who knew how they'd react if a dead teenager ended up splashed across the cover of every paper in the world?

Had Clark not rudely decided to blink out of existance Cisco's question would have been along the lines of "So just to be clear here. I'm here for tech, ground support, comms and suit duty yeah? Or am I in the wrong meeting? Cos you all know that I have no usable meta, mutant, whatever powers suitable for field work. And why me? It's not like you guys don't have your own tech people and billions of dollars to find everything with along with secret research facilities equipped with the best equipment and specialists in the world. I'm just a kind an of average scientist really. Also am I expected to work from here, S.T.A.R Labs or both?"

But now it seemed that all questions were being deferred to Bruce. That man could be pretty terrifying at time and doing a classic Cisco Ramon rant in front of him was probably not the best way to start whatever this is. Though his big long question was written all over his face, and he had even said earlier that Barry hadn't exactly been forth coming about details on this whole thing, so maybe Bruce could extrapolate all this from his face. Or maybe he wouldn't and simply didn't care about the internal avalanche of thoughts the scientist was having. Cisco didn't think that Batman had ever really taken him seriously as a person, even whne it was revealed what exactly Cisco did for team Flash.

The second red heads question was a valid one and given the nature of the group the League had assembled not a completly unjustified one either. This wasn't going to be a holiday camp and there was nothing they could do make people like each other. Trying to make people like each other would drive the wedge further between them, just like with him and Dante. His parents had forced him and his older brother to 'bond', but all it suceeded in doing was highlighting their differences and driving them further apart.

Some of the others already seemed to be drifting off to take rooms and get food which meant he as a hologram was going to be left out. Guess it looked like Cisco was going to have to move, unless he could get a teleportation device (odds of that near impossible) or control whatever ability it was that meant he woke up in crazy places with no knowledge of how he hit there (also slim chances given the lack of data he had). He cursed Barry for at least the seventh time that day.

Cisco found himself listening to the conversation between the two red heads, the first introducing herself with a name that seemed to consist entirely of plants, the way her speech, now that he was paying attention seemed to have a large quantity of plant puns. Add to that the fact that she had scientific qualifications, then yes he could work with her. "It's exactly like that to the best of my limited knowledge. They are assuming that training will mellow you out, help you guys all learn to tolerate each others presence, figure out how to use your strengths together not against one another. But really, they're expecting you to bond on the battle field, that whole putting grudges and feelings aside in a life or death situation kinda thing. Whether that'll work or not is another thing." He finished with a shrug before deciding that he should probably introduce himself.

"I'm Cisco Ramon, qualified in mechanics and engineering, currently doing a PhD in the latter. . But for this kind of outfit I do comms, ground support and make tech and supersuits. And I'm part of S.T.A.R Labs, best get that out there beforehand and let that reputation taint people's perspectives now rather than later."

Willie sat there quietly ready for Superman's briefing as more faces starting making their way to the living quarters. Some of the group began talking amongst themselves but hushed when Superman began to speak. Willie listened intently to every word.

Creepies! A covert task force! Willie thought to himself. That was so cool! It was like something out of an big budget action movie. Willie could picture it now: Face to face against some maniacal supervillain mastermind in his secret volcano base as he prepared to unleash a doomsday weapon that could threaten the entire world. And only Willie and his new friends could stop him.

Willie's daydreams were interrupted when the pretty girl next to him started talking to him. Her question didn't come as a surprise to him, not many would believe he was a superhero because technically he wasn't. Captain Thunder was, well sort of, Willie never knew quite how to explain it.

"Er- well, it's like this..." said Willie as he began to reach into his trouser pocket. He was looking for his signed photo of Captain Thunder in the hopes it would make things easier to explain. His search ended abruptly when he was caught off guard by the girl's sudden outburst. Seeing all eyes in their direction, Willie stopped his search and just sat their quietly, eyes fixed firmly on the floor.

Willie only looked up upon the arrival of another new face, who introduced himself as Dick before asking Superman how his wife and kids were. Superman had a family!?! Of course Willie knew he had to of had a mum and dad but a family of his own! That news came as a shock to Willie. Not that he and Superman were that close, they hadn't know each other for that long, but it was surprising that one of his fellow initiates was.

He would have to ask Dick how he knew Superman so well when he got the chance. Though considering how many of his new teammates seemed to know Dick already, maybe it shouldn't of been such a surprise.

The girl left shortly after and sat down to Dick and his speedster friend but not before resting her hand on his shoulder and giving him a wink. Willie's face went bright red from her touch. "B-Bye." he could only mumble as she moved across the room. His eyes lingered on her for a while as she began to eat popcorn with the other two before he finally managed to return to his senses.

Willie could see some of the group had left the living area whilst the others were making introductions so he decided to follow suit and introduce himself.

"Er- Hello." Willie raised a hand in greeting. "My name is Willie Fawcett and I'm friends with Captain Thunder." Willie reached into his pocket and pulled out his signed photo of Captain Thunder. Holding it up so the group could see it, the photo read: To my best pal, Willie Fawcett! Captain Thunder.

"Well, we're sort of the same person..." said Willie, correcting himself as he put the picture away. "If I rub my belt buckle-" Willie gestured to his distinct lightning bolt belt buckle. "And say the word thunder, I sort of turn into him." Willie scratched his head in embarrassment. "You might know him already from that brawl with Superman in Metropolis not that long ago... but I can assure you he's back to his normal self now."

Haliwell Marley
Hush

Throughout the fiasco that was the 'welcoming ceremony,' Hal remained quiet. He stood leaned against the wall. His headphones were still on, and he had only moved it off one of his ears. The bickering tempted him to just get up, take his suitcase and leave. But no, he wouldn’t. He had already made the decision, it was too late to go back now.

Being a part of the new team, Titans, was in many ways intriguing. The missions they would take on would probably be on a different level than Hal was used to, but if the Justice League believed he was ready, he probably was. And despite his rather distant personality, living his life in New York only communicating with the children he taught and the woman that he got pastries from had gotten rather lonely. Even back in Central City he hadn’t been the most outgoing person, but he had had a few people he considered friends.

Hal noted the names that his future teammates introduced themselves with. Luckily for him, remembering names had never been a problem. Maybe even creepily so. He remembered names of people he had met years ago, and only once, while they barely recognized his face. Of course sometimes it took him a few seconds before he placed the right name to the right person.

Just a few minutes earlier he had thought about how one of his main sources of communication was from the lady he got his pastries from, and, suddenly, there she was. Her red hair was impossible to mistake for someone else’s. He didn’t know if she would recognize him, he was after all just one of her customers. As he was about to head over to her, probably to say something awkward like "where’s the cupcakes?”, she spoke up to the holograms.

What she said was correct. There was an overload of different personalities in the room. Thought the bickering had already started ever so slightly, Hal suspected navigating around them all would be like navigating a minefield.

He didn’t really have problems with the majority of them. Surely he disliked the cat guy for stealing his bike, and the woman that didn’t stop talking was pushing his every nerve. Not to mention Cisco. Okay, he didn’t really have any reason to dislike him, not any valid reasons at least. However the fact that the hologram was a part of S.T.A.R labs was distasteful. Hal was very aware of all the good S.T.A.R labs had done after the explosion, but it didn’t justify destroying so many lives. Why couldn’t they just have shut down? They could’ve just started a new lab. As long as they left the “S.T.A.R” part in the past, Hal would’ve been fine, but now the news of all the good S.T.A.R labs was doing filled the Central city newspaper. It was as if the explosion was a bump in the road, a little mistake that could be swept under the rug of good deeds.

Hal realized his thoughts had spiraled and his fist was as clenched and white. He took a deep breath, looked around and noticed that people had left. It was his cue to do the same. He could talk to his favorite baker later.

He found his way to the 7th floor, suitcase pulled behind him. To his surprise, someone was already standing in the hall, staring into one of the rooms.
“Hey, you’re Violet right? I’m Hal,” He introduced himself, stepping a bit closer, but still remaining a certain distance away from her. “You know how this works?” Hal asked, gesturing towards the pads of some sort, placed outside each of the doors.

Wally glanced over at Jester once she'd jumped over for her embrace with Dick. So much for the best friends reunion. He took a step back, leaving Dick with his bag of popcorn as he proceeded to dig into his own, watching the events around him unfold. This team was ragtag, and filled with clashing personalities. Already bodies were leaving the room, of which included Superman, one of the people who'd put this whole thing together, and various other teens. He gulped, this super hero team was going to need some work. A soft groan escaped his lips.

The people introducing themselves were a step in the right direction though, and Wally couldn't help but grin while bringing a hand to his popcorn. Wally stiffened at Alex's arrival. He'd have tried to rip the bag of popcorn away from the girl if it wasn't for some sort of superhuman strength that held it in place whenever he tried to pull his bag away. Wally had heard, amongst other things, about the Amazonian sister of Wonder Woman, but he couldn't have expected her to be so damn annoying. "Hey get your own bag-" She reached into the bag once more. Why couldn't she just have went for Dick's popcorn? With all the attention he was receiving, he definitely wouldn't have enough time to finish the entire bag.

In spite of the slight disturbance, Wally felt he'd come around to Alex eventually. She was bold, and funny for even stepping to the speedster. So, against better judgement, he just let out a soft laugh in her direction, before turning to those introducing themselves. "Well, I'm Wally West. Don't wear it out! Kid Flash to, well.. the Flash. I, uh, guess that's it." Wally chimed generally. Lightning flickered over his eyeballs in excitement that the introduction would be just a step forward in team bonding.

At another thought though, Wally turned his sights to the hologram of Cisco deeper into the room, his eyes thinning down on his older friend. "Why aren't you here with us? Need someone to run you here? Bro-- we could definitely be roomies if you come. We do get our own rooms right?"

This room was too nice. The bed too big to much...privacy. It was like Violet couldn't process the fact this room was actually her's. And she knew it was, the fingerprint scanner opening the door three more times for her proved it but...it was such a foreign concept that she still hadn't stepped foot inside. So when she heard another voice, her attention quickly turned. That tenseness in her shoulders returned quickly upon seeing Hal, Violet still uneasy about being alone with a boy. She looked away quickly, her arms crossing over her chest as nodded, gelling him he got her name right. Hal was easy to remember. And in her experience, so was Violet.

She wanted him to go away. Or she wanted to hide and all it would take was a step inside her new room in order to do so but...he asked about the finger pads. "You...you press one of your fingers to it...or your thumb," She mumbled, hopefully, loud enough for him to hear. But just in case he didn't, Violet took a step back from her door and let it close again. Then, she took a step forward and pressed her thumb to the finger pad, and the door opened. With that, she glanced at Hal, seeing if he understood. But another questioner her lips before she was even ready to ask it.

"Are these rooms really for us?" She asked, voice barely a whisper as her gaze shifted down to the floor again. But she found her eyes traveling back into the room just...wondering. Violet almost felt hopeful. It would make sense right? That the heroes weren't messing with a bunch of teens. But at the same time, she feared that if she went in, she wouldn't be able to leave again. That the room she so desperately wanted would become a cell or worse, she would be sent back to Metropolis. She hated that idea.

It made her stomach twist uncomfortably and her heart race, she never wanted to see that city again. Suddenly, Violet realized just how stupid she looked. Glancing to the thumb pad, she could see the letters. Violet knew they said something but she just...didn't know what maybe her name. Maybe someone elses name, how would she know? Asking would mean admitting she couldn't do the one thing everyone seemed to know how to do. So once again, Violet just stood there uncomfortably, but at least now she was waiting for a reason. Maybe Hal would answer.

Ruby Spark
Well, seemed that her question came too late since the holograms went off. Just her luck, right? Whatever, Ruby would have to figure these things out on her own then. Or maybe ask some other people? For sure, there were faces looking so much more confident and at home here than her. Damn these conversations. She has always presented herself as this strong independent woman who can do everything on her own. After all, she kept her business alive for a few years now. And yet, she needed to be so much more from this moment on.

Before she managed to do anything else, a girl approached her. Nice, fellow redhead. And it certainly seemed like she had a few answers so Ruby just stood and listened to everything she had to say. Her speech was slightly elevated, something Ruby wouldn’t expect with a person of her age. Not that it was a bad thing, not at all. Just a bit unexpected. To her words, Ruby slightly nodded and thanked quietly for the clarification.

“I’m Ruby. Ruby Spark. Nice to meet you.” she introduced herself in return and wondered whether to offer a handshake or not. The girl’s studies and all of it sounded impressive. Ruby herself didn’t have anything like that. And somehow…oh, whatever. “I manipulate fire.” she added, realizing how dumb it sounded. Ugh, could she smoke there? Probably not. But she did snap her fingers so a small flame appeared and when she opened her palm, the fire danced all over it. With a simple flick of the wrist, it was gone. Hm, show-off much? “Other than that…I’m just a…um,…” Before she managed to add ‘just a pastry chef’, another voice sounded and Ruby lifted her gaze.

What the tech guy said made sense to Ruby. Sure, training would follow. Most definitely but still, Ruby had difficulties to believe that they could actually all get along. There was no way. And she didn’t even have to know everyone. Knowing herself was enough because Ruby might have been sweet cupcake lady, but she could be a real douche as well. And didn’t need much. Everyone has some fatal flaw, right?

She waved at Cisco, introducing herself again to him and made a mental note to maybe talk to him about her own clothes. There was one thing she couldn’t figure out herself. Every single time (which so far was, three times) she tried her pyrokinetic flight, it was more than amazing. Landing was…less amazing since all her clothes usually burned to ashes so…go figure.

A bit later, Ruby entered the seventh floor where their rooms were supposed to be. As she was walking, she saw some people and once again, a familiar face. With a deep breath, she walked closer. “Hal?” she started, wanting to make sure it was really him. “Now this is…unexpected. Knowing in advance, I’d bring your usual.” Ruby chuckled just to make this whole thing lighter. “Oh, hey, sorry, I’m rude. Name’s Ruby.” she turned to the girl standing next to Hal. “So, what are we supposed to do now?” she asked, tucking her hands in the pockets and hoped either of them knew.

Introducing himself as one of S.T.A.R Labs employees wasn't going to go down well with everybody (or most people in general), Cisco knew that much. Hell if his own family could barely accept that he was part of them, how could he expect a bunch of strangers to do so? Dante had been particularly scathing about the whole thing with things getting so bad that Cisco just upped and left the family gathering with his brothers words ringing in his ears.

He couldn't expect everybody here to accept him as openly as Wally did, espescially if some of them had been affected by the explosion of SLAPA. Cisco had met the victims of that night, seen what the grief had done to families, seen how the tragedy tore people apart. There was nothing they could ever do to change that. Nothing would ever repair the irreversible damage caused. There had been protests demanding for S.T.A.R Labs' closure and there had been times Cisco genuinely feared for his job and those of his friends. Hals clenched fist didn't escape his attention and Cisco knew that by outing himself as beingfrom S.T.A.R Labs he'd put a blank mark against himself in the male' s mind.

When the youngest boy spoke up, a kid who looked way too young to be part of this whole initiative Cisco listened, taking it all in. He knew the moniker 'Captain Thunder' and knew of the fight Willie was refreing. But he hadn't expected this being able to transform into a grown adult was....well it was ingenious as an alibi but surely an absaloute pain for everyday life and trying to keep a secret. At least this kid had control over his transformation in his favour.

The second red head was a pyrokinetic, and he idly wondered if there was a genetic link between pyrokinesis and red hair, he'd met red headed pyros before, then dismissed that thought, nodding at her introduction. Her name even screamed pyrokinetic, with both words having a relationship to fire and its colour.

At Wallys question Cisco felt like throwing his hands up in the air yelling something along the lines of 'finally you are asking the right questions Wally, your bain has caught up with your feet'. But he refrained himself . "I only found out about this yesterday, nowhere near enough time to haul ass to New York. And Barry being Barry was not only very sparse with details, but also forgot to tell me that you were going, or to even think of offering to whiz me over. Do you really think I, Cisco Ramon, would turn down a trip to see a billion dollar facility funded by the League?" The question was rheotorical as Wally well knew. Cisco loved seeing hero facilities (and villian ones) and was fascinated by them.

The thought of sharing a room with Wally was..... interesting. He'd obviously have no privacy with Wally bursting in and out at super speed and hiding his meta cuff would be damn near impossible. Plus a shared room wouldn't allow him to bring in as much stuff as he wanted, and knowing Cisco, it would fast turn into an auxillery workshop. "Given the size of this place and the amount of money invested in it, there's got to be enough rooms for all of us to get our own. As for bunking with you, hard pass, sorry Wally. I avoided bunking with Dante as a kid by some minor miracle and we both know whatever room I get will be gradually turned into my second workspace/suit making room." Cisco kept all speedster firmly out of the room wher he made suits after that one time Barry sped in and destroyed three weeks worth of work on a new suit.

Amy wasn't surprised when Stray said he was leaving. Tensions would probably only grow if things continued as is. She was a bit shocked to see Violet go as well, but it seemed like the girl needed some space from all the commotion as well. Amy lived in the hustle and bustle of showbiz so a little chaos wasn't going to scare her away. She'd go check on them both in a bit. Give them time to breathe. Not to mention her curiosity about the others needed to be satisfied a bit more. everyone in the room was certainly a character, and she wanted to see it all play out just a little bit more first.

A lot of flowery words streamed for the the ginger's mouth, but it would take some time for her to decide if that was a path she really wanted to explore. She supposed if they both were staying that she'd get to know the girl better by default to at least some degree. She's only been on Earth for nine years, but she's yet to meet someone truly unbiased. A true neutral alignment if you will. Even judges, and people whose jobs and livelihood and morals are all about being as unbiased as possible aren't completely unbiased. That's why there are appeal systems, and jury's of multiple peers. She usually found those that have to state their traits rarely had them. She hoped however Rosary would prove her first impression wrong. After all there is always more than meets the eye, if anyone knows that it's her.

She knew the other red heads question was for their fearless leaders, but they didn't seem to be responding. Honestly she wondered the same thing. It'd be hard enough for small groups to get along. Heck even the founding members was only eight people and she was sure they all didn't get along at first or even all the time. The JL grew to be bigger it didn't start huge. Assuming P was right, they were still missing one more person. One who was probably taking the term fashionable late a little too seriously. To be honest she wasn't paying much attention to the Speedster, Dick, Alex scene until they came closer to the rest, the Hologram man talking to Wally in particular. The introduction where nice and she hoped she could remember all the names in a reasonable about of time. One guy slipped into the Hallways, but she wasn't really paying attention to that either.

After everyone finished introducing themselves she decided she should probably finish hers, "Well I told you my name, and Magic is my game." She giggled motioning to the luggage before standing up and walking to the doorway letting it follow her without touching it. "I've got a lot of tricks up my sleeves, but it's probably best to let that unfold as we go." She smiled. "This has been fun, but I'm gonna go claim a bed now." She chimed waving by to everyone before leaving to the 7th floor. She got there and noticed the small crowd in the hallway. She walked over and waved of course with a smile, but she didn't want to seem nosy. She did however notice the name on the door said violets name, so with a grin she walked to the room directly across that was vacant. She pressed her thumb to the pad letting a giddy grin curl onto her lips seeing her name appear on the screen.

"Now this i can get used to." She smiled and waved at her luggage to move it inside. she was curious if any of the other rooms had been claimed and walked a bit farther till she reached Sascha's. "Oh look we're close!" She knocked on the room's door, "Hey neighbor!"

Rosary had remained in relative silence since her introduction, her glance passing from each of those present as they made their introductions with interest and then a look of amusement at Ciscos offense at the name before an appearance of contemplation "The originality regarding names in the superhuman community does appear to have long been something lacking in general with a few exceptions, hmm well if you discount the puns I suppose. Though its that or an over-complicated amalgamation of Jargon so I think personally I would have a preference for the former. Though if your open for suggestions? Flash Airs or Traction Trainers" she makes faints waving gestures with a free hand despite keeping them mostly crossed as before. The more she thought on the topic the more she was flooded with examples of individuals just adding on their persona to the items name, Super this, Bat that, and whatnot.

She nods further with his summary of the situation in general before finally introducing himself properly "Astute, they are desiring conflicts to be present to encourage growth through adversity and necessity and not only with the obvious elements. Regarding your Organisation? The majority of the issues appear to be within its security, I suspect from the management of questionable competency and often declining advice out of either complacency, overconfidence, budget constraints, or a combination. However, if they did not produce anything of benefit they would not be commonly raided by individuals seeking what they have created." She then gestures a finger towards the hologram once more "Observations aside, I may have certain requests in time...though forgive me if I don't have a preference for more natural remedies to problems when possible."

That aside her attention returned to the others, Willie as interesting but mostly due to the wording was chosen in his explanation in particular. It did seem to imply that the two were not entirely the same person though if that was through mental influence, personality shift or a completely different mind was unknown. The unknown quiet boy did leave without a further word seemingly being uninterested in the introductions but his minor reactions and twitches to the various interactions did show he was paying attention and his body language said the rest. It was something she had picked up from her parents, observing an individual's reaction to aggravation and common triggers told you vital information to use to uncover more as time went on. Everything was a page in their story so to speak and being aware of that was important, especially with the number of crazies in Gotham.

The Younger Flash was brief but the easiest to grasp ability-wise given the prestige of his namesake, the next was could be summarized as a firey redhead, problematic but as long as they kept their distance during power interactions it should be fine, though best take some precautions just in case the flammable met the flame in less than ideal circumstances, something to add to the list of things to discuss with Cisco later. With the departure of the fire girl, the magic one was next to introduce herself before quickly leaving as well, Magic was something she had relatively little experience with a whole despite her attunement to the natural energies of the world. Where the Arcane fit in the grand scheme of things she had no clue, and she doubted any online resource would prove reliable, her brief glimpse on a whim on the numerous supposed introductions to the art was from individuals of questionable sanity or morality, and she was not about to hand out money to a potential con that could be better used doing some good. For now, the Magic question could rest, maybe more would come out in time or the league may have some reliable resources on the matter, best educate herself somewhat on what could be encountered and allow for context to be gained on their fellow teammate's abilities before they question them, she was not a fan of going into a discussion completely uninformed after all. That left the ones who had departed without explanation, Alex expanding on her skill set, the Dreadlocked boy and of course the two she was fairly confident in being able to guess due to familiarity but was still leaving it open for a curveball.

Virgil listened intently, making mental notes not of people's names, but their alter egos. He had no desire to mistakenly call out a teammate's name during a battle, after all. He kind of hoped they'd extend him the same courtesy, though this room didn't seem to be filled with people of the best of intentions. He listened to Dr. P's speeches and said nothing. His pops had taught him to always listen to people before judging them, even when you didn't agree with what they said. The outing of identities alarmed him, and he felt even more uneasy about being here than he had before. Maybe he could trust the Justice League, maybe. But this group of 'heroes' worried him. If they were already name dropping, it just meant Virgil had to keep his name a secret for as long as he could. The guy, Cisco, had mentioned super suits twice now, and Voltaic was quite intrigued by that. He was stylish as hell, but a bullet would probably just laugh at his hoodie and T-shirt. Definitely something to bring up down the line. He figured day one would be a bad moment to request a suit, though he was tempted. The sooner he had something a bit more protective, the happier he'd be. He looked around as the room emptied. That was fine by him. There were too many people here for his tastes anyway. Still, they'd wanted an introduction, so he supposed he had to give one.

"Hey all. I met some of y'all down on the lawn, but for those of you who don't know, I'm Voltaic. The name kinda gives away most of the powers, but if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer. Good to meet y'all." He wasn't entirely sure it was good to meet everyone here, but he could fake it. No sense pissing off his future team right off the bat. He wondered to himself why no one had thought of that before going into speeches that seemed to piss everyone else off. He shrugged. He could read pointed observation and not think it was an attack, at least. Definitely told him the personality of the people in the room. He glanced at Jester, and suddenly felt a little guilty. He'd judged her based on appearance, and he didn't think that was exactly fair. Sure, she'd creeped out the only guy he felt he could trust, but he understood all too well what it meant to be judged based on appearance. He couldn't walk into a store without store security shadowing him. He couldn't imagine what it was like looking like the Joker. He wasn't sure why she looked that way, but he doubted it was a fashion choice. So he strolled up to her, and extended his hand.

"Hi Jester. I'm Voltaic. I'm sorry about before. Kind of a gut instinct, but I know it isn't right to treat you that way. Probably like me, you can't help the way you look."

After making herself known to Dick, she once more turned her attention to the others. It seemed people we're slowly starting to move, they found their cliques and now were going to their rooms. She could hear nearby Rosary speaking, for someone so stoic she is surprisingly talkative in her opinion. In any case she wondered what she will do, she did not see much opportunity to interact with people. Even if she, she felt like putting herself in their presence will derail the conversation by making herself the elephant in the room. It did not bother her, she half expected to be the loner of the group and considering her circumstances it was likely for the best. Though it would make things a bit boring but that could be mended in time.

She was about to move when her African colleagues with dreds approached her and offered his hand in greeting. After he spoke she didn't reply or gestured in any way, she visibly studied him as if trying to decide how she should react to him. She suddenly burst out in laughter almost uncontrollably at first but after a few seconds she seemed to control herself. "Oh... I am sorry... Its just so cute. You being the white knight to the shy misunderstood girl... Or rather than white knight is it that you like female clowns huh?" She nudged him playful before chuckling again." Nothing wrong with that, happy to help you explore."

She let him stew on her words for a few seconds before finally putting him out of his misery. "Oh i am just teasing you. Jester after all. I dont wear the costume and call myself that for nothing hon. Nor its effects on other not foreseen, i am fine. Also, this group is more accepting than most. I am keeping my distance as i am guessing know you understand why. " She leaned close to him as if going to say secret. "I am a little bit nutty."

Haliwell Marley
Hush

Hal was glad he hadn’t walked too close to the girl, who seemed rather uncomfortable with his presence. He hadn’t really heard Violet’s explanation of the door pad mechanics, mostly due to the music streaming from the headphones hanging over his shoulders and her own mumbling. Luckily for him, he didn’t have to awkwardly ask her to repeat herself, as she showed with actions how to do it. He did the same with the door closest to him, one room up and across the room she had chosen. His name appeared on the pad and the door slid open.

Violet’s reaction to the room suddenly made a lot more sense to him. The bedroom was probably bigger than his whole studio apartment and it had a double bed. He had never had his own double bed, and it brought a small grin to his lips.

“Wow,” he uttered, before looking back to the girl. “Enjoy it while it lasts, I guess” He said to her, a big indicator that that was just what he was going to do. Hal had never had a big need or want for luxuries, he managed fine living with the bare minimums. However, he would never say no to what was offered to him. Besides, it would be nice to just relax and enjoy the good things before it was too late.

Whoever built the place had done well with the rooms, it was big, looked comfortable, and maybe most importantly, it looked like a place one could call home. Even if just for a short time. It was a refreshing feeling to him. His Manhattan apartment had never felt like home, it had just been a place where he could live. His childhood home had stopped feeling like home the second he lost his sister.

His train of thought and amazement at the rooms was disrupted when he heard a familiar voice behind him. “This must be my lucky day, big rooms and my favourite baker all in one place,” He gave Ruby a smile, “It is quite unfortunate that cupcakes aren’t included, but I’ll manage,”

As he spoke, he realized it was the longest conversation he had had in a long time that was not with his boxing students, his parents or the voice in his head. Speaking of which, the voice had been rather active since he first had arrived in the building, commenting on everything that was to comment. Hal chose to ignore it as best as possible, and not shout at it to shut up, he didn’t want them to think he was completely insane, yet.

Despite leaving to put some space between himself and the crowd, there seemed to be a little party gathered in the hallway. A new woman, who he remembered had introduced herself as Amethyst, arrived. She didn’t stop to chat, but gave them quick greetings, before picking the room across from Violet’s.

stray
Stray’s ears pricked at the sound of someone, quite literally, dropping into his room. But he chose not to acknowledge it right away. Thinking whomever it might be, they were with the League, and posed no threat to him. Heroes and their rules and what have you. And upon taking his sweet leisurely time to straighten up, close the drawer he was working on, swing his hips around, delicately place a hand on his hip and lean on the dresser to regard his visitor, he found that he was quite wrong. He smiled, like the cat who caught a particularly fat canary, and chuckled.

This is what you consider exuberant decor?” Stray crossed his ankles and tilted his head, particularly pleased with himself.

Abel brought his hands up, and crossed them over his chest. His eyes followed Stray, and for whatever reason in spite of their rivalry and bad blood, it was definitely always difficult to hate Stray. He was a foe, yes. A pain in the ass, for sure. But all in all, Stray was a worthy adversary nonetheless.

At Stray’s words though, Abel definitely felt a tinge of hatred for Stray. He’d almost forgotten the boy’s superiority complex. Abel and Stray were all too similar, yet so different. Financially, they were on polar opposites of the spectrum, yet in how they carried themselves… smooth and sophisticated… If Abel had lighter skin, they’d definitely be mistaken for brothers. Still, his jaws flexed, and teeth grinded against one another at Stray’s words. Abel’s eyes tinned on the cat, before letting out a dry laugh.

”I don’t see you jumping at me with those claws in this place, now do I? There’s either something about the place, or you’ve gone soft. I’d like to think you’re still capable…” Abel let out a sigh. At the mention of the claws it was almost as if he could experience Stray’s slicing of the tissue of his chest. Under his shirt sat three jagged lines, the middle line the deepest and most evident, from where Stray’s claws had connected. He remembered screaming, and cursing the night Elvo had applied alcohol to the wound.

The last time they had crossed paths Stray had finally taken a win off of the damn magician. And left him a hopefully permanent reminder of their time together, not out of hate or annoyance, but out of a desire to mark him. He wanted him to think about him. Few people had ever given Stray so much trouble. Their score was 2-1, not in Stray’s favor. Magic was so very tricky.

Stray’s claws lengthened on his left hand, unsheathing quietly as he triggered the pressure point, but all he did was use them to tap the surface of the wood on his dresser as he observed the backside of his sometimes rival’s trench coat. He wasn’t concerned, after all he hadn’t been lying to Stray when he told him he wouldn’t attack him here, but Stray was just… ready.

Stray’s eyebrow raised in response to Abel’s line of questioning, he bit his lip and considered for a moment. Lining up what the sorcerer revealed in his phrasing. So now he knew that his sometimes rival was here not because he had joined the Titans initiative but because he was looking for him. But how? To do something like magically find him he would’ve needed an anchor or something wouldn’t he? Isn’t that what Amy had told him about using magic to track someone? What of Stray’s could he possibly have. And besides that he’d been invited to join the initiative but wasn’t going to show up? Or maybe he was going to show up later? At all? He was here now regardless…

Fuck it.

Stray made a reckless decision and removed his mask, tossing it to the side on his dresser. “Right back ‘atchya stud. Yet here we both are.” He brushed his hair back, letting him get a full view of his visage. “Though I think you being here was less on purpose than me being here, I guess the cat really did drag you in this time hm?” He licked where he’d bitten his lip before, pleased with his assessment and at the prospect of showing up this fool multiple times over this summer. Maybe he could even that score up a bit more.

Abel’s eyes continued to sway just as gracefully as Stray carried himself. At the sight of the man prepping his claws, though he remained relaxed, his mana energies boiled within him, itching to be manifested into the mortal plane. Still, Abel kept his cool. Wouldn’t want to destroy the decor.

Abel quirked a brow at Stray so calmly removing his mask. All those rainy nights, unfocused visions and the like hadn’t allowed for a good look at Stray. Finally, the cat was being transparent and not so much a… pussy. ”I was expecting something more… surprising. This is hardly poetic, Stray. All too easy.” Looking at Stray’s tensed, and readied position, Abel let out a breath once more.

Stray’s grin showed teeth.

“You were expecting me to be this handsome?” He jested, knowing what he truly meant. That rivalry, though fun, wasn’t a cavalier thing. They were both quite determined to get what they wanted. But Stray saw little reason in keeping his face a secret when they were going to be on the same team, sort of, for a while.

”So what’s the run-down? Why’s the league assembling a team of misfits… and why now?” Abel asked, and thought about the topic simultaneously. The Justice League were untouchable, a team held with the highest esteem and never spoken in a sentence about nothing more than good. What had them so afraid that they’d pick up miscreants like himself and Stray? If they were on the team, what sort of members filled out the rest of the squad?

“Well, if I were an international league of powerful supers with an agenda around a decade old my next concern would be ensuring a continued legacy of that agenda… or something like that.” Stray shrugged, as if it would be obvious.

The thoughts continued to circulate Abel’s mind, though his eyes stayed fixed onStray. ”And how the hell did they tie you down to this gig too? Must be some kind of persuasion huh? Mommy put you up to it?” Abel scoffed at that one, and let out a dry laugh. He was aware of Stray’s connection to the Catwoman, not necessarily how or why they’d been so close, but it didn’t take a genius to put two and two together.

Stray’s claws drumming stopped.

”Oh… it has to be a Batman thing. Word around Gotham is she’s screwing the man living in a 1980’s Halloween. What’s the verdict, Stray?” In spite of his jabs, and snickers, Abel was definitely interested in hearing what sort of reasoning-- binding, the league had to hold someone like Stray. He definitely didn’t need a team, nor was he a team-player.

Stray smirked, shoving off the dresser and circling to Abel’s side, he began corralling him slowly towards the door as he spoke. Like a lion might do to a gazelle, towards the crocodile awaiting in the river.

Abel flinched slightly at Stray’s advances, and let out a short breath. ”Heard of personal space, pal?” He asked, and patted the feline on the shoulder, who continued to corral him towards the door.

“It’s my guess, for whatever that’s worth, that they think I’ll turn a new leaf and be manipulated into becoming another of their puppets. That won’t be happening of course, but I figure, hey, why not scope out my future competition while I’m here.” It was a lie, but it sure sounded like it could be the truth.

At Stray’s words Abel smirked. If Stray was here to scout out any future rivals, and Abel was equally invited, perhaps he’d have to look at it the same way as the alley cat. As small and frail as they were, they knew how to survive with speed and finesse.

”Looks like we’ll make a good pairing in the meanwhile then. Enjoy your conquest, I’m off to check out whatever else this place has.” And with that, he turned on his heels, trench coat whipping the air behind him. He opened the door, and waltzed down the hall, eyes bouncing from figure to figure. Was he going to get a room of his own?

“Oh hello lovely.” Stray leaned on the doorframe, greeting Amy and winking at her.

She didn't get an answer. Not that she was expecting one, but Hal immediately turned his attention away from her when that other girl appeared. The redhead introduced herself as Ruby, and Violet nodded to show she was listening, awkwardly hovering there in the hall as she listened to the boy and the other girl talk. This wasn't her conversation anymore, so Violet looked back into the room, her room, before she finally stepped in. Though she did listen to Amy first, a small comfort knowing the nice girl would be nearby.

A part of her was expecting the door to immediately close and the walls to be replaced by metal bars, or worse, that clear plastic. But none of those things happened. She could still hear the faint voices of Ruby and Hal out in the hall, muffled music from the room to her left...but nothing else. No sudden slam, so yelling or sirens. Just the hiss of hydraulics as the door closed behind her.

For a few moments, she stood in place, looking around the room for any indication of what to do next. It was still so alien that this was supposed to be her stuff. Her room...it had been a long time since she had her own room, and that was about half the size as this. No, that room was less than half of this, maybe a fourth of the size. Turning her head to look over her shoulder, Violet's brows furrowed. It was still weird that the wall wasn't see through. Maybe they had cameras hidden in here somewhere...but that would just be cruel. The Justice League didn't do cruel right? They did offer stuff like save people and fight monsters. Most of them anyway. Finally, she decided to move, walking further into the room.

The bookbag fell from her shoulders, a soft thud echoed as it landed on the floor next to the bed. She was almost scared to sit on it, hesitantly touching the blankets first. They were soft, the feeling almost pulling a smile from her lips. So she turned, her back to bed as she gingerly lifted herself up and onto the mattress. So far so good, nobody was yelling at her yet. And nobody had busted in with cuffs and a needle. Violet allowed herself to take a deep breath, her body falling to the side slowly. Her legs were dangling off the side of the bed as she pulled a pillow under her head, eyes closing. Maybe they wouldn't mind if she took a nap? Violet hadn't gotten much sleep last night, a police officer kept waking her up and telling her to move. She understood but-

"Hello, Violet." Immediately she bolted up, practically going off the bed without even turning to see who was addressing her.

"I-I'm sorry!" The girl stammered turning around to face the rest of her room but kept her eyes down. "I-I-I didn't mean to, I was just, I promise I wasn't doing anything, th-the bed just looked really nice and-"

"It's okay, you're not in trouble. This is your room after all," The voice replied, oddly sweet for something that sounded like it wanted to laugh. Immediately her cheeks took a rosy hue, flustered and embarrassed by her reaction, Violet finally looked up to see whoever was talking. And saw...no-one. The room was empty except for her. The confusion must have been evident to even the business voice, who took the chance to speak again. "My name is Gideon, I'm the AI for Titans Tower. I'll be looking after you and your fellow Titans. I'm...Batman's eyes if you will." Violet nodded, looking around still to see if this Gideon was messing with her. People liked to do that.

Her hands twisted into the bottom of her shirt, frozen in place again as Gideon continued to speak. "This is your room, Violet. If you are not happy with the way it looks, there's a pad on the right of the door frame that allows you to customize the appearance any way you would like. We want you to be as comfortable as possible." There was a pause, a slight static sound that hurt her ears a little. "In the dresser, there are some clothes the League has provided. If they don't fit, please let me know. With thag out of the way, allow me to tell you the most important thing."

"Due to the number of recruits, you have been split into different teams. Alpha, Beta, and Charlie. Y-"

"Shouldn't it be Bravo?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Shouldn't the second team be Bravo? Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Echo, Foxtrot...ecetra."

"I suppose. Perhaps the League wanted to avoid too many militaristic connotations. In any case, each team will be handing different missions when they arise, this way nobody is overworked. You are on Alpha Squad with Richard Grayson, Abel Forrester, and Virgil Hawkins. Team leaders will be revealed later on. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask."

"Okay..." Violet didn't know what to do with that information, still fiddling with the end of her shirt. So...she was on a team? The names had made her shoulders tense up, Violet wondering why the hell the justice league would pick names like that. It made sense at the same time, to Violet at least it was just...they made her skin crawl. But Gideon had fallen silent, effectively leaving Violet alone again.

At least he knew that this was definitely her room, that fact along enough for her to relax. At least enough to slip her shoes off, those tattered socks coming off with them. The floor was...cool against her feet, but she didn't mind. It actually felt kind of nice. Looking to the door again, still wondering when someone would bust in and ruin this...she finally climbed back onto the bed. Violet didn't dare to pull the covered back, scooting into the middle of the bed she finally collapsed against the mattress. Once more pulling a pillow under her head, she didn't know how long this would last...but she could at least enjoy it for a little while. At least, Violet hoped so.

The rest of the previous day was uneventful for Amy. She spent most of the rest of the day talking with Sascha. She was a bit surprised by the tower AI, but she figured that of course the Justice League would go all out for things like that. Luckily enough turns out they were also going to be on the same team through this. "Looks like they know a winning combo when they see it." She grinned before finding the pad to the room and flipped though it seeing what options they had. They bounced ideas off each other and worked together in decorating their rooms. For the things the tower didn't offer they shopped online for, and somethings she used magic if it was too specific and couldn't be found. They were going to be here the next two months they should get as comfortable as possible right? Once they were finished she was actually sleepy. Said goodnight and went to her room. She unpacked her luggage using magic as she lounged on her bed thinking about the other people in the Tower, and her new team.

All the walls are painted like in the picture to the left, as well as keeping the flooring. the left side picture would be exactly what you see on the right side wall when you walk in.

Her bed (Right side picture) would be against the left side of the room. The differences are the sheer veil color would go from black to a darker shade of purple to match the room. Same with the sheets they wouldn't be that blueish purple, a few pillows would be silver, black and a purple that matches the image beside it. Also the poles would be a soft but shiny grey.

Her vanity (Left side picture) would be in the back wall of the room farthest from the door, but close to her bed. She's keeping the decorations as is, but would change the wood to a light grey and black marble. Also this isn't the stool she'd use, she's use a regular black circular cushion stool. Her ha-mic chair ( right side picture) would also be at the back of the room where I'm imagining the windows to be but closer to the right side of the room. The only difference would be the small pillow would be silver, and the fluffy pillow would be black.
il_794xN.1707963346_ffab.jpg
She also has on the open spaces of her walls decoration like the feather image above (except silver), a few dream catchers, various other plants, a sleek black dresser, A full length mirror hanging up beside the door, and a tall dark wood shelf for storage of random items. She figures she might add more things later, but this was a good start.

She was glad to be on Sascha's team, but she kinda had hoped Violet would've been on their team too. Oh well she'd still get to hang out with her they were neighbors now after all. She wondered who'd be their team captain. It could be any of them though she hoped it wasn't her. She wasn't really the leader type, and she had nothing against the kid, but she doubted they put the youngest in charge. All that left was that girl Alex, Sascha, and the Hologram guy who she wasn't entirely sure was even going to stay with them. She wondered what had happened between Sascha and whoever left his room earlier...he'd stormed off so fast she didn't even get a hello or a good look. Crazy thing was it kinda looked like Abel, but she laughed off the thought. Pff like Abel would ever join a team like this. Before she knew it she'd passed out.

-Time skip: Next Day-
Amy had never really been a morning gal, but the delicious scent of food being made was able to drift down to even their rooms. She was never going to turn away good food no matter who was making it. Who knows when the league was actually going to start demanding them do things like train, so she wanted to soak up all the free time she actually did have. She stretched a bit as she got out of bed, and tamed her bed-head in her mirror before slowly shuffling towards the kitchen to find something to eat. With any luck she'd also bump into someone to hang out with for the day. She wasn't picky really on who since as much as it'd be nice to talk to those she already got along with, it'd be nice to get to know some other people too. She yawned as the elevator dinged opening up to the 8th floor where the kitchen and open living area was turning to see if anyone else had beat her there as well to see who had been amazing enough to cook.

ABEL FORRESTER

[tags: Stray (mention) The Witch Son The Witch Son , Amethyst Kitsune2202 Kitsune2202 location:Titans Tower, Floor 8 outfit: xoxo

Abel thumbed the centre of his forehead, and let out a soft sigh. To say the other night had been odd would be an understatement. Abel had been set up by his mentor, Elvo-- tricked into joining the Titans: Initiative. He'd initially been against the idea before coming across Stray that evening. Following their introduction, he grew more and more interested in the entire operation and what it had to offer. And though he hadn't explored much other than the floor of rooms, he could've sworn he'd seen the figure of an all too familiar magician... just one he couldn't put a finger on. Anyways, finding a room hadn't been too tricky, though it was rather odd growing accustomed to finger pads rather than light switches. Abel received the robotic brief from Gideon, was made aware of the various rooms in the tower, and his own sub-group... Alpha. Alpha had to mean they were the best, at least that was what he figured.

He'd left his room relatively same as he'd arrived, besides opening a portal to Elvo's apartment to bring over some of his stuff, mostly clothes, and drugs. If the rest of the group were capable adults, the tower ought to have some hard drinks of their own.

Abel rose from the comfort of his bed, and after questioning Gideon, was made aware of the four general washrooms in the hallway. "Disgusting," he thought to himself, but with how deep he was already, there wasn't much other option. His door slammed shut behind him, and with the length of his pajama pants dragging after him, Abel hauled his tired frame to the washroom where he took a basic shower, and brushed his teeth. Thankfully the Justice League seemed to be forth thinking with their body cream, mouth wash, basically whatever he needed to kick start the day. Following a dry-down of the towel, and now slightly more awake than before, the next step would be breakfast right?

"What floor did that robotic brit say the damned kitchen was..?" Abel asked himself.

Disoriented, and still fairly confused, Abel made his way towards the stairwell, and down to the sixth floor. He was quickly turned off by the plain, and simplistic design of the med-bay, and decided after trying a stair down from the bedrooms, he'd try one up. So once more, he headed towards the stairwell and scaled two floors, and lo and behold there stood the all-too familiar magician. One he could finally put a name on upon seeing those curly amber locs.

"Well if it isn't Miss Magi?" Abel smirked down at Amy where she'd exited the elevator, and continued from the stair well's exit towards where she stood at the elevator. "Didn't think I'd see you till' my next heist, love. Seems everything's going full circle." His grin widened slightly, revealing parts of his pearly whites.

"Guess I'm not the only one just yearning to have whatever's cooking. The aroma's to die for."

"Don't think I look much like a white knight. Just know what it means to be judged for what you look like. I never minded clowns, though I'm not too used to female ones." Virgil laughed as she leaned in.
"Whole world is nutty, Lady. They just don't admit it openly," he said, giving her a wink before moving off. He supposed that since things were winding down, he'd check out his room. It seemed like a good idea, he just hoped the bathroom was built as nice as the rest of this tower. There were a LOT of young men here. Anyone who had seen a public toilet knew that guys tended to destroy their bathrooms. Especially the young ones.

Virgil had spent the evening absolutely pissed off. Gideon had announced his team when he had gotten to his room, using the real name of every team member. That was bad enough. Even the LED outside his room had displayed it, though he'd burnt it out. All but the V. He then proceeded to mark his door with his superhero symbol so people knew whose room it was. Virgil was a true believer in not going to bed angry, but tonight he had done so. He'd also taken the liberty to instruct Gideon to only refer to him as Voltaic from now on, but he figured the damage was done. Great. This team of misfit toys knew his name. Exactly the start he'd been hoping for. It was fine for the others to give him their names. He thought it was dumb of them, but he wasn't their dad. Virgil on the other hand valued his privacy. It was all he had in Dakota. Before the League had outed, he'd told exactly two people his secret: His pops and his best friend Richie Foley. He'd told them because he knew he could trust them. He had no idea if he could trust this team, but it seemed the League had made that decision for him. They'd taken his trust on day one. It was almost enough for him to leave. He didn't know why he stayed, but he had. Still, he didn't sleep very well, and was up early.

He sought out the one place, the one thing in his life that always made him happy: A kitchen. He'd made his teammates on Alpha a meal last night, but he supposed this was the true test of his skills. He'd only fed this many people once before when his uncle Teshome's trial had started. He liked to think his skills had improved with time, and he had soon filled the Titans' kitchen with delicious aromas. He darted here and there, his knife a blur as he chopped vegetables. He found himself singing and dancing between stations. In addition to the omelets he was also making some hashbrowns, and he danced his way back and forth, making sure nothing was overcooked.

"Sexy love, do the things you do. Keep me sprung, keep me running back to you!" He actually had a couple omelets plated by the time the two supers came in. He didn't notice them as he kept singing, engrossed in his cooking.

Elizabeth smirked at Virgil's response, a little surprised he took the teasing so well even tease her back a little as well. She had to admit she was starting to like him and so soon into her arrival to the Titans. Still he was wrong about one thing, as nutty as the world maybe but very few people were as or more so as she was. She watched him leave before grabbing her things and moving to her room, guided by Gideon. The idea of this place having an AI was slightly disconcerning, machinery having such access to data and constantly working can be a big security risk. Technology can be useful but there was something to be said about keeping things disconnected. She learned that lesson for being often at both sides of a data hack.

Still at the moment she was not in the mood of worrying about the AI, she made her way to her assigned room. She looked around, the room was of decent size and furnished with all the essentials. It was not really decorated just basic white or the wood. It was a blank slate a canvass for the owner to personalize to their hearts extend. To her it was luxury especially when compared to the barebones padded cell she had just come out off. The bed in particular drew her attention, she rushed to it and fell on it enjoying the feeling of a proper thick mattress and duvet not the thin foam and white sheets of her cell. She must have been more tired then she realized as she did not get up as she planned but fell asleep within seconds.

Alas, she wouldn't be able to enjoy her first evening in a proper bed. She tossed and turn almost immediately muttering in distress which became worse the longer as she remained as she slept. Flashes of her time in captivity went across her mind: the wizzing sound of a taser activating, the taunting, that manic laughter, sometimes his and sometimes hers, green smoke. She felt it as well, the fear, the uncontrollable urge to laugh the electric shock going through her muscle and the searing pain of burns. It was if she was going through it again. Getting worse and worse, until the feeling of helplessness grew and grew and the wish to just be over. To do anything to make it all stop until....

She awoke again, shaken and breathing heavily being drenched in sweat. The rays of light from the nearby window shining into her tired eyes painfully. She groaned, she was confused her mind catching up to the fact that she was not in the torture chamber but her new room. Once it did she sat up and groaned once more running her hands across her face, her sweat making her smear her make up more that it already was and her hands were caked in the stuff. It took her a couple of hours to recollect herself, get herself cleaned up and costumed. Once ready she took a deep breath put a smile in her face and stepped out of her room towards the kitchen.

Ruby Spark
Ruby realized one thing. This one conversation made her smile genuinely. After a very long time, she didn’t have to force that cheeky grin on her face and it appeared naturally. “I guess I’ll have to take care of those cupcakes at some point then.” she sent yet another grin towards Hal. As with all of her regulars, she knew his order by heart and had it ready all the time even before he appeared in her small place, handing him a small white box filled with goods even before he opened his mouth.

Following the example, Ruby chose the room opposite Hal’s, seeing there was still no name on it, and claimed it for herself. Walking inside, she took a good look around her. In last few years, the girl had never had a feeling of home anywhere she was. It wasn’t the family house and it most certainly wasn’t her Manhattan apartment. It all felt like she was just crashing there for a while. “So this is it, eh?” she muttered under her breath and left her suitcase at the bed. The room was nice, very neat, tidy, something right up her alley. Would this become the place she would feel like at home? Only time would tell.

The only thing that actually took her by surprise was the AI system. She wasn’t ready for that and hearing Gideon’s voice ignited her right hand. Reflex. Always ready. She let it speak, not asking anything since it was all pretty straightforward and clear to her. It gave her some basic instructions about the room plus her…her what? A team? Beta Squad? Yeah, okay…she could be a part of a…team, right? She could at least try. Sure, it would be a change for a loner like her but…hey, Hal was there too. But was it a good thing? Awkward or not really?

The night was quite calm for her. That was a huge change. After a very long time, it was the first night Ruby spent indoors and not in the streets of New York. Honestly, that felt strange. No need to scorch anyone? Really? You sure? And yet, she wasn’t in bed. Or at least not for the most of the night. Ruby spent it sitting on the window sill, watching the night sky, pondering about the choices she had made. Her lifestyle made her used to two or three hours of sleep so there was no problem with actually going to bed at around four in the morning.

Once the morning came, Ruby woke up quite rested. Her first thoughts went to pondering where she was before she sorted out the facts. Throwing the comforter away, she got out of the bed and stretched her back. Was there time for her morning workout routine? Or not? Was there any schedule? But before she managed to make some decision, her stomach growled so loud that it was not really hard to decide to get some breakfast. Yeah, food. Food was good.

A fast visit of the bathroom to check on her hair, put her face together, a little bit of morning hygiene and she was off to the 8th floor. The smell of food was leading her. That nose of hers, it would bring her straight to the source. And Ruby obviously wasn’t the only one to think about it. She remembered seeing the girl from the day before but the guy was new. Plus there was some other person running around and singing. It brought another smile to her face. “Damn, we can actually use the kitchen?” she asked him, probably pulling him back from his zone. “Sweet.” she added and sent him a little wink, leaving him to his cooking art and mentally scolding herself for yet another idiotic question.

“Mind if I join you, guys?” she chirped, approaching the two already sitting there. It couldn’t hurt to get to know some more people there, could it? And after all, Ruby wasn’t just some shy quiet dork. She was just too used to being alone. In the end, this might be a good thing for her. “Name’s Ruby.” she smiled at the girl who seemed to be sweet and friendly and then offered one more to her companion.

Sascha had enjoyed the previous day, if there were anyone who appreciated the artistry of things like interior design it was Amy. They enjoyed themselves designing their living spaces with the help of the internet, credit cards, magic, and elegant taste. When it got late he cooked them food (something he smugly enjoyed impressing her with) and they got right back to it, which was when Gideon surprised them both by introducing itself and then telling them they were assigned to teams, thank goodness they were on the same one. Amy expressed that she’d wished Sentinel had been on their team too, and he agreed, but they resolved that they could both reach out to her regardless of teams.

Sascha hadn’t even given thought to the subject of team leaders, but being the leader of anything was a pain in the ass, he knew from experience. Take the last run in he’d had with Hush for instance, he’d led a small team of goons to smash up a jewelry store to cover up the fact that he was going to need to hack into their database to steal their client list, and break the computer in the process to cover his tracks of having been there. Hush had stopped his goons while he was busy with the computer, and though he’d gotten back at the vigilante and left with a bag full of jewels he’d had to leave his team behind to be picked up by the police. He took the responsibility of paying their legal fees and making sure they got their cut of the money afterward. Because he’d been their leader. Which had been on short notice and difficult to keep anonymous.

A pain in the ass was why Sascha preferred to work alone. But at least he had no reason to believe he’d be leading anything while here. He was no fan of the League and they weren’t a fan of him.

In the end, both of them had come up with snazzy rooms, Sascha’s own included a low simple bed with velvet duvet covers ordered in a dusty rose, black, and leopard print, a mirror painted like the moon, a black shag rug, a three tier and six tier dresser set, with a matching vanity. He’d found a lovely tiger striped chaise lounge to fill with black velvet pillows and a leopard spotted chair that would fit nicely in his vanity. But it was the palm tree lamp, gold circle trolly, star tapestry, and book case which in his opinion tied the room’s aesthetic together. It was very mid-century California chic. Mind you the plants in his room would all have to be fake, as he was no green thumb, but you couldn’t tell the difference anyway unless you were looking hard enough. They’d contemplated what to do about his art stand and canvasses, but they looked fine propped up in the corner until they were needed. Perhaps he would paint a mural on a wall in his room but at the moment no such inspiration had struck him for it.

-

He’d gone to bed quite late, as per usual, but had gotten up quite early, unusual. Perhaps he didn’t feel quite as much at ease as he would’ve liked to think. But resolved that he’d take a cat nap later if he needed, and to use the morning to explore the tower. In particular, he’d wanted to see the place’s computer control room, he knew it’d have to have one. The tower didn’t disappoint, the computer’s files in it on the other hand...

“Fucking mother complex!? Guanoman wrote this didn’t he?!! Fucker! - I keep telling her he’s only going to break her heart. He doesn't understand her at all.” Sascha huffed to the thin, empty air, growing more irate the more he read of his own file. He had been enjoying studying everything that the League had on everyone, taking special note of the people on his own team, but had not enjoyed finding out what the League had to say about him.

“Oh he definitely wrote this, ‘Vain and self obsessed’- you know if he looked half as good as me he’d take pride in his appearance too but nooooooooooooo the height of his sense of fashion includes last season’s plain black Armani as if no other brand or color existed. His cufflinks are boring, the nerve of him they’re boring.” He straightened, adjusting his blazer, attempting to keep a hold of his calm, huffing and annoyed.

“I’m redacting this file and making one on him. He’s got some nerve.” Sascha cracked his knuckles. Redacting his file wouldn’t actually be effective long term on this server or the ones in the Hall of Justice, or the Watch Tower unbeknownst to him, but it was a petty ‘fuck you’ at the very least. Sascha was not beyond pettiness. The League had too much information on him anyway. His original birth name for starters.

“Gideon.” He called, the system chimed in response.

“Refer to me only as Stray from now on… please.” He gritted out.

“Confirmed, Stray.” Gideon answered pliantly.

Sascha had to go in through a backdoor in the system since administrative access was password locked, which took a while but was worth it, and spent the time typing away.

Mentioned: Everyone else around them

"Keep an eye on its vitals." The smell of antiseptic and stale oxygen filled the room. A blinding light overhead, the buzzing of air filters, and the constant beeping of the heart rate monitor. Violet didn't like this place. She couldn't move, her wrists hurt, the mas over her mouth didn't fit well. Talking. Those plastic faced people were always talking about vitals and antibiotics. It made no sense, the world was always spinning but one that was always clear. The pain. It always started in her arm, Violet tried to turn her head but she couldn't move. Her eyes were always on the light. The pain would get worse. Moving from her arms to her legs and chest and then finally her belly. That deep, sharp burning pain that always caused her to pass out. But this time, she didn't. It kept getting worse and worse, a warmth seeping down her sides to her back before-

Violet woke with a start. A cold sweat clung to her skin, her racing as her eyes frantically scanned the room. it was dark, only the faint light of the moon illuminating the furniture causing odd shadows. Gasping for air like her lungs hadn't been working, gripping the covers to try and remind herself that she wasn't in that god awful place anymore. But...for the first few minutes, she didn't remember where exactly she had ended up. Too nice for a motel, and definitely not a park, alley, or underpass. Reaching up to rub her face as she calmed down, the girl finally remembered what was going on. What was supposed to be a nap of an hour or two, turned into a sleep that Violet was having an issue shaking free.

After a few minutes, Violet finally swung her legs over the edge of the bed and hopped down. Her toes wiggled, the floor colder than she thought it would be, her form slowly moved around the room. Her eyes were drawn to the dull but still illuminated pad next to the door. Maybe it would turn the lights on? Once she reached it, Violet gently tapped and the screen lit up, she obviously had a few different options. Expecting them to be hidden behind multiple walls of reading but...it seemed like her's were all basic pictures she understood quickly. With another gentle tap, soft lights, obviously set for nighttime gave the room a gentle glow.

Violet sighed, stretching her arms up over her head, a small series of pops coming from her back before she dropped her eyes back down to her side with a sigh. What to do now. Looking back to the little screen, she went fo check the time and noticed it was 2:47 am, but she didn't like the look of it. "Hey, Gideon. Can you change that clock to a 24 hour one?" A few seconds passed and the clock switch over. 02:47. Much better. She reached up and ran her fingers through her hair when she realized what the best part about this entire situation was, no matter how temporary. Violet would get a shower. Turning quickly, the idea exciting her. For once, she wouldn't have to rush! She moved quickly, grabbing her book bag to almost ripping It open, Violet pulled out a closed CVS bag and headed for the door.

It was very easy to find a bathroom. And at this time of night...or morning, nobody would be using them. So nobody would see just how surprised she was. It was, by far, the fanciest bathroom she had ever been in. It was actually overwhelming to a point but, she was excited. Marcus bought her some nice smelling soaps, and she even had clean clothes to change into afterward. It took a minute or two to find a towel but soon she was standing under a torrent of warm water. Gideon made sure to tell her the water was chlorinated, but not enough to agitate her skin but to be careful of it getting in her mouth. Though as she sighed, eyes closing as her head rolled around her shoulders, Violet almost forgot about it. How long had it been since she last had a shower? Water that felt like hail instead of this, a relaxing waterfall that, for the first time, allowed her to completely relax.

Violet scrubbed until her skin felt raw, red, and blotched in some places. The won't citrus scent of lemon mixed with beachy scents that came from her experimentation between both the provided soaps and the ones she brought. Her favorite so far was a shampoo that reminded her of that breakfast house she would pass occasionally. It made her hair feel soft. Her skin felt soft for once, despite the many bumps, ridges, and burns that littered her skin. She wished she could scrub them off just like dirt, but she couldn't. The bathroom was steamed up by the time she was finished and stepped out to dry. The towel was soft, really soft. It actually made her smile a bit, it was nothing compared to the ratty thing she lost about two weeks ago. She turned her attention to the mirror, reaching up to wipe some of the condensation away, she sighed again looking at herself.

She hated those scars. They were nasty, ugly, the small ones inside the bed of her elbows caused every druggie to offer her something almost daily if her sleeves weren't down...but the worst one was under the towel. A long scar starting just under her diaphragm and ended just above her belly button, that was rhe scar from her nightmare. Violet quickly tore her eyes away, gently touching the scar before she got dressed and quickly brushed her teeth. For the first time in a while, she was feeling refreshed. Almost good. She was hungry now, having slept through dinner, but they weren't allowed to eat after 18:00. That habit kept her from entering the elevator once she was back out in the hall, her new pink pajama pants and white t-shirt now laughing her body; her bathroom supplies and old clothes bundled up in her arms. Those items were dropped on the dresser once she was back in her room and this time when she got in bed, she actually got under the blankets.

*****
When she woke up again, the panic was mostly absent. Slowly the rose, the blankets shifting as she yawned. Violet was tempted to just curled up under the blankets again but...she moved out of bed before she even wanted to. If Violet spent to much time in bed, bad things happened. Her toes wiggled against the floor again before she moved to find her book bag. From inside she pulled out the hair tie to pull her now nice and clean hair up into a ponytail before she moved to grab something else. But paused. Her clothes she had been wearing when she got here were nowhere to be found. She came to the conclusion that maybe someone came in and took them. Which was wear to think about since nobody should want her clothes but, hey, who was she to judge? From her bookbag she pulled out a pack of sock, pulling a pair free to slip on before she left.

Her arms were crossed when she left the elevator, wanting to hide at least the "track" marks. She knew what people on the street thought of them, so Violet could only imagine what these guys would think. They could throw her out or worse because of it. The smell of food hit her right before Violet realized other people were there already. She paused in her spot, watching them for a second though her eyes were immediately drawn to Amy. She immediately moved towards the nice girl, though hesitate as she got closer realizing she was talking to a boy Violet hadn't seen yet. Shoulders tense again, she raised a hand to wave at them. "Good morning Amy...and boy," Violet spoke quietly, her arm crossing again as her stomach growled a little. So she glanced towards Voltaic who was making food, wondering if that was for everyone or just the important people. If that was the case, Violet would be going hungry for now.

Towing his suitcase behind him, Willie followed some of the others down to the seventh floor as they decided to call it a night. Many of the rooms had already been occupied by his teammates so Willie hastily made his way to one of the few remaining rooms.

He couldn't see a handle on the door so he wasn't entirely sure how to open it. Looking over it, he noticed a keypad on the side and began randomly pressing keys in the hopes that one of them would open the door.

The door opened with a swishing sound. Willie couldn't help but think to himself that this whole tower was like something out of Star Trek.

Stepping into the room, he was taken back by the sheer size of it. He was used to sharing a room with multiple other kids so the fact that this whole room was just for him was kind of overwhelming.

The room itself was like one from an grand country estate. He was almost hesitant to make himself too comfortable in case he broke something.

"Is this whole room really just for me?" Willie said to himself, making it all the more surprising when the room appeared to talk back.

"Why yes, Willie. This room is now yours."

"Creepies! Who's there?" Willie said startled, his eyes searching the room for the source of the voice.

"My name is Gideon. An interactive artificial consciousness designed to oversee and facilitate all operations within Titans Tower."

An artificial intelligence? Willie was wrong before, the Tower wasn't like something out of Star Trek, it was better than Star Trek.

Willie made his way to the bed and began unpacking his belongings as Gideon began to outline the various rooms within the tower and their functions. She then informed him that the team had been further divided into sub teams: Alpha, Beta and Charlie.

Willie was in Charlie team along with Amy, Cisco, Alex and Sascha. He recognised two of the names from the introductions but not the other two however, it was still early days, he'd get to know everyone eventually.

With everything packed away, Willie slipped on his pyjamas before making his way to one of the bathrooms down the hall. After brushing his teeth, he returned to his room and climbed into bed.

Waking up the next morning, Willie felt completely refreshed. It was definitely the best night sleep he had ever had but it wasn't too surprising considering his old bed was a single bunk and this one was two, if not three, times the size.

He was reluctant to climb out of it but after about fifteen minutes his stomach ended up making the decision for him. Still in his pyjamas, Willie left his room and walked to the elevator before riding it up to the eighth floor.

Arriving at the kitchen area, he noticed Voltaic in the kitchen cooking as well as a few other faces. He could see Violet standing slightly apart from the others and assumed she must be queuing so rather than cut in front, Willie decided to wait in line behind her.

"Morning." Willie said casually to Violet, as he patiently awaited his turn.

The sound of slithering, and warming was an eerie one. The object writhed, and pulsed in the dark of the Titans Tower room.

Vines intertwined into the giant monstrosity, constantly warping, and changing its position as if each vine competed for space and resources. There was virtually no space in the room.

Green goop pulsed from the smell of pores rotting against the side of the giant being. The goop sizzled, and burned against the Titans Tower room, but with its reinforced floor plates, the room's floor wouldn't give way.

The smell was thick, and hung like damp forest air. It was the personification of pure green, and soon enough the rest of the tower would stink of nature.

At the top of the being wormed, and wiggled an object vaguely resembling a head. Instead it was rather clam-shaped, skin painted in various shades of green. Every now and then, the clam would come open... revealing jagged, blade-sharp teeth almost the length of a human head. The mouth itself was far bigger, and could definitely consume a human head.

The inside of the mouth sat an all-green, thorn-spiked tongue, and excreted toxins and fungi with each snap at a bite.

With its constant growth, the vines soon found their way into the vents--more-so forcing themselves into it. It slammed down against the vent, and anyone in the vicinity surely would've heard the metal clank. The slimy tentacles crept down the vent, pausing only to fart out a gaseous toxin from one of its pores.

Back in the room, past the vines, past the jungle, the last strand of red hair floated down to the carpet, gliding slowly and softly like a feather.

Upon stepping out of the elevator her ears perked at the sound of a familiar voice calling out to her. Her eyes widened for a moment before she let out a soft chuckle. "My, my so you were roped into this circus." She grinned. It was a surprise for sure to see Abel here of all places, and not trying to take anything. She'd dared him to try again last time, but she didn't think she'd run into him so soon. "What couldn't best me, so you had to join me?" She winked with a flip of her curls deciding to keep walking over to the dancing boy in the kitchen making the heavenly smelling food. She waved a hello at him, but he seemed really in the zone. "Can't say I blame you, hard to resist." She hummed over her shoulder before taking a seat and peeking at all the food. She'd had Sascha's cooking last night for dinner which was amazing as usual, but now she was curious to see how well this man cooked. If it was as good as it smelled this was going to be a great two months.

It didn't take long for others to come pouring into the kitchen area weather out of instincts or the smell of food. She recognized the red haired beauty from the day before during introductions, but she was also grateful for the reminder of her name. Amy was a social butterfly so the more the merrier in her opinion. While she was certainly curious on how Abel was convinced to join this initiative, that seemed like a better conversation to have in private later on. That's assuming he'd tell her the truth even then. "Of course! Nice seeing you again Ruby." She chimed with a bright smile. "So far it's looking like we've got the day to do as we please. Any plans?" She hummed curiously the question open to both ruby and Abel. She wanted to do something today she just wasn't sure what.

Before she knew it another familiar voice rang in the girls ears causing her to turn in her seat to face her, "Good morning Violet." She chimed sweetly. The girl looked much more refreshed then she had the day before and she was glad. Maybe it meant she was settling in well around here, or at least starting too. This whole thing was a change of pace for everyone it seemed and would take some adjusting. "Come join us!" She patted the seat of whichever side of her Ruby wasn't already on. She seemed a bit hesitant to walk up fully and she wondered if it was because she didn't recognize Abel due to him not being here yesterday with everyone else, or if it was just in general shyness. "I think he's making plenty of food for all of us." She encouraged. It certainly looked like that was the boys plan. If not she was sure someone would whip something up next, and as a last resort she could cook, but she's no 5 star chef. She can do the basics, and can make a pretty decent steak if given good meat.

Willie had also trickled into the area and she smiled with a wave at him as well. She figured she should talk to all of her teammates more considering she'd be spending a lot of time with them. "Good morning!" She hummed. She wondered where everyone else was. Probably still sleep considering it's still kind of early. But she figured this gave her a good clue of who the early birds of the teams were. Since she'd spent most of the night in Sascha's room she doesn't know who all the night owls are just yet. She was also glad to see she wasn't the only one who came down still in her pajamas, but that's what had also made her think people had already made plans for the day.

The whole while Amy had heard clanks every now and then, but she couldn't pin point where they were coming from. She had decided maybe someone was really gun-ho and was training or something. Maybe for all this place's high tech aesthetic it wasn't immune to the New York infestation issues, and a few got into something. Nothing that wouldn't be an easy fix for the AI probably so she didn't think much of it past that.

With the talk over, Cisco saw no need to hang around and his hologram blinked out of existance. He sat back in his chair with a long sigh. Looked like he was moving, which in and of itself wasn't too bad (it got him away from his family and more importantly the up and coming family reunion). But it also meant he'd be away from work and his friends in Central City. The others working in S.T.A.R Labs were more than capable of running things smoothly without him, in fact they'd probabaly move smoother without him and his antics that verged on mad scientist at times.

He was jolted out of his thoughts by the S.T.A.R. Labs AI. After they'd gifted Gideon to the Titans initiative the complex didn't feel the same without her so they'd made another AI, a younger brother of sorts for Gideon. They'd named him Zachary and were still figuring out what was the best accent for him to speak in. Today's was a New Zealander accent. "You've got a message from my sister. Seems you're being put on a team." Being assigned a team wansn't surprising, the League really didn't like didn't trust solo operator heroes. Then a downright horrifying through struck him. "They're not making me leader are they? Please tell me they've got more sense than that. We all know I'm not the leader type, just let me make the toys and suits and put me on comms. Is that too much to ask?" Cisco knew he really wasn't the leader type, he was not comfortable in the spot lights and prefered to thrive behind the scenes shielded by computer monitors and scientific research.

The AI made a noise that cold only be described as a suppressed chuckling as Cisco groaned. "You're not the leader Cisco, and by the looks of it, my sister has sent on the basic files on those you'll be working with." Cisco checked his laptop, and yep, there was the email and files. He scanned over them briefly. The team name was horrible so boring, like they hadn't even bothered to give a few seconds of thought to it. That was being changed immediately. So there was the kid, the catburglar, the mage, the Amazonian and the scientist. That sounded like the beginning of a bad joke, something along the lines of a kid, a catburglar, a mage, and Amazonian and a scientist walk into a bar (or in this case Titan's Tower). This was going to be interesting (to say the least).

The rest of the day was spent in a funding meeting (boring and repetitive, yet they managed to secure money, so that was something), telling all the important people that he'd be gone for the foreseeable future, but feel free to send him on research to do in his spare time and getting together for moving. After visiting his apartment and the house small houseboat he'd converted into a mini sewing workshop and place to crash, he'd filled boxes with books, comics, his extensive collection of t-shirts, other clothing, some bits for sentimental reasons and the general tech and to old he couldn't bear to part with.

The drive wasn't particularly interesting given that it was taking place at night. He reached the phone box entranceway (so ripped out of an obscure comic series Cisco just so happened to be a fan of) just short of midnight. He would spend the next few hours bringing up and unloading his various boxes and setting up his room. A person's room was said to be a reflection of a person's mind and personality and Cisco's was no exception. One corner of the room was filled with bookshelves holding comics, comic book memorabilia, books, an extensive collection of DVDs and photos of Cisco and his friends at comic cons. The walls were decorated with a mixture of iconic movie posters and the quite frankly amazing (in Cisco's opinion) spoof movie posters made by NASA for every ISS crew. Next to the door he added a Dungeons and Dragons joke gift. Since the League were willing to pay for Cisco's room decorating he decided to have a giant chalkboard/magnetic pinboard installed on one wall for purely aesthetic reasons. He planned to cover it in maths equation, project sketches and blueprints, starting with a NASA Space Shuttle design

By the time he'd finished it was practically morning and he'd only managed to get a couple of hours sleep. But the smell of food wafting from the kitchen direction sounded much more enticing than staying in bed. Entering the kitchen area he saw that three of his teammates were already there (the only one missing being the Amazonian). There was one male there he didn't recognise from the meeting the day before, but nobody else seemed to be objecting to his presence so he'd evidently arrived after Cisco had logged out. "Morning everyone." He said, not really expecting a response from most people. "Anybody know where the coffee is here?"
