(this post is missing something but idk what. forgive me)

Time had been rough lately, especially with the breakup with his girlfriend. He was left feeling anguished... May seem like an overstatement but it was only the mere truth. Having the words, "I can't date because you're a swimmer," can really anger you. The fact that she tried to apologize for it, made the whole situation worst. Now he refuses to even look her way. He really didn't think she was like that. Sure, she asked him to leave the swim club a few times, but he thought she was looking out for him. Little did he know, it was only because she didn't want her friends looking down on her. But he had to look on the bright side, at least he wasn't dating someone who disapproves of what he's doing...

Not to mention, the shower in his dorm decided to break and barely spout out water. Usually, he just took his showers in the locker room because it killed two birds with one storm; getting rid of chlorine hair and just taking a general shower. But sometimes it's nice taking a shower in your own abode.

Again, he had to look on the bright side. It was beginning of the school year, a fresh start, you could say. The sweet nostalgia of swimming would ever be so present. Preparing for matches always made him excited. The best part of swimming club if you asked him. It's rush when you're up against someone; not knowing whether you'll win or fail (lowkey hoping it's not the latter)

Taking a seat by the poolside, he dangled his feet into the water. He laid back on the cold stone floor and stared at the tacky ocean decorations... as if the pool was even somewhat close to the ocean. Sometimes he actually wished it was the ocean. Sometimes a new change of scenery would be helpful, but of course, you can't competitive swim in the ocean since it's far too dangerous.

Maybe he came a little too early... He felt he had been laying there for at least ten million years ago. A little bit of an overstatement, but it seemed like everyone was taking their sweet time. They still had to show the freshmen around and they ran things, but that wouldn't take forever. Maybe they would actually have time to practice... The past few days was just full of preparing for the freshmen and then actually taking care of them... No, actual practicing what-so-ever.

Eric was excited for the new season, but he was also nervous for the oncoming freshman. He knew his roommates brother one and he was excited to meet him. He was also excited to see the captain, his "skinship" brother and the first person he had met. He had missed swimming. Eric made his way towards the building, his sketchpad and pen tucked under his arm. He hated having to rely on writing, but nobody on the team knew sign language, so he just used the sketch book.

Eric headed inside to the pool area, scribbling a quick 'Hello' on his notepad. Eric had thought there would be more people already, but he only noticed Won Jae sitting beside the pool. Eric slipped off his shoes and rolled up his jeans a bit and sat down beside him, gently nudging Won jae's shoulder and showed him the sketchpad. He smiled at the male and stared at the water, gently kicking his feet in the water. He hadn't swam a lot since last season, so it felt comforting to feel the water.

CHOI JUN HO

relaxed | xx | with ji hwan, won jae, eric |
pasta pasta youngkyun youngkyun @T A E H Y U N G

Jun Ho spent most of the day in his room. His shift at the ice cream bar CONEction doesn't start until four. Who would've thought that his captain was a regular, pointing at his face when he arrived at the auditions with Ji Hwan. Work might just be more eventful now. Not to mention, the owners added new flavours for the coming fall season; pumpkin, nutmeg and extra caramel toppings. Which meant more effort when he's learning the groove of the menu.

He glanced at the digital clock he had on his bedside reading 10 minutes before one. Storing away his knitting supplies and putting on a cap backwards, he stood up from his bed which was made immediately after he woke up. First waving goodbye at Nabi, he leaves the dorm checking that his keys was in his pocket before heading over to the book shop not far from campus.

This little routine they planned would happen every Saturday afternoon when his brother ends work so they could go for lunch together. Today they decided for some light fast food.

The Choi brothers were locals, their parents sent them to the dorms for independence. Despite that they already are very independent and could easily commute from home with their bikes no problem. Though nowadays they were out on vacation since their sons aren't bothering them as much. So at the moment, it's empty, though they had emergency keys. He wonders if he could ever return home if he ever had a night out.

Ji Hwan had his arm around his shoulders when they walked into the gym, taking what he thinks is a satisfactory selfie when Jun Ho has been looking forward instead of the camera. Ji Hwan puts it down and smiles brightly when he sees his teammates. Won Jae and Eric, he reminds himself, following along the edge.

"Hey guys." he said as they walked up. "We just got back from lunch! Come on, you should say hello too."

"Oh," Jun Ho looks at his brother who was encouraging him, then at the other sophomores sitting by the pool. "Hi."

The other looks disappointedly at him. "Seriously? That's it?"

"What else do you want me to say, Jihyung?" he murmurs absentmindedly and taking off his cap, before making a beeline to the locker room.

"Are you that excited to swim, Jun Ho?"

"Yes. Also, you left your goggles in your room."

He could hear his brother curse and panic before speeding back out by the loud bangs of the doors. He reappears briefly shirtless, goggles dangling around his neck and a cap in his hands as he joined his seniors with their legs in the pool. It was cold.

"There weren't many people who wanted to join the team," he muses. His monotone voice had little traces of curiosity, inaudible to the untrained ear. "How come?"

all sungjoo wanted to do that morning was to sleep in a bit. it was a saturday and he didn't have to be at the pool until around 2, so he thought he could use that time to get some more sleep. he wasn't going to sleep in that late though. his original plan was to wake up at around 10, get something to eat, and then jog around the campus for a bit. however, his plans changed as soon as he got a call from his mother at 6 in the morning. she told, or well, practically ordered him to go to the hospital immediately to support his older brother in her and his fathers stead. they had to go to work and apparently someone had to be there for sejun.

apparently, sejun's wife had gone into labor last night and sungjoo was a little peeved that they waited until the morning to tell him the news. it frustrated him even more thinking that they wouldn't have notified him at all if it wasn't for the fact that his parents had to go to work and needed someone to watch over sejun. it wasn't like his own child was being born, but still, it was his sister-in-law and his future niece in there. he would have dropped everything to support his brother, even leaving in the middle of the night, if someone had at least told him.

anyway, that's where sungjoo has been the whole morning, waiting patiently in the lobby with his brother. he did at one point leave momentarily to get the two something to eat. he luckily was able to witness his newly born niece sleeping peacefully in the arms of his sister-in-law and even got to hold the baby's small hand, before he had to head back to school. having no time to change out of his sweats, sungjoo decided to just head to the pool as is.

as he walked into the correct building, his previous tiredness was quickly replaced with excitement. to say the least, sungjoo was excited to get back in the water and see his fellow teammates, some more than others. he had his trustee blue bubble gun in his hand as he walked through the halls. sungjoo wanted to bring his confetti poppers, but after taking the coach by surprise and popping most of them at the auditions, it's needless to say he wasn't allowed to bring them to the pool anymore. he smiles as he watches jihwan speeding towards and right past him. all he could hear from the man, before he zooms out the front doors was that he had forgotten something. sungjoo couldn't quite catch what jihwan forgot though, instead he just yelled at him to hurry back.

once he went through the doors to the pool, he notices his underclassmen sitting by the pool. "yo guys, it's nice to see some familiar faces!" he calls out to them. sungjoo managed to hear the question junho asked, when he first walked came into the large room. he crouches down next to the trio. "want to know why there wasn't a lot of people at auditions? it's because there are rumors, that are false by the way, that have been going around the school for a while now about our team and well, they've sadly driven away most people that wanted to join." sungjoo sighs softly, and then pressed the trigger on the toy, blowing bubbles basically all around them.

Soojin had woke up early that day, before Tomoya and chi at aroung quarter to seven. She got changed immidiatly to her jogging gear: black yoga pants, a white tshirt, tackies and grey hoody. Once ready, she took her phone and other suddries and stepped out of her dorm going for a ran around the campus. The sun was not fully out yet and so the early morning was cool with a fair wind. The sun would eventually lead to a warmer morning but this cool start was sign that autumn has come and it wouldnt be long before it settled in properly.

It was to be a long day for her, she had a meeting with her father for a coffee later today about something he didnt explain, swim team practice and after that an interview with a talent scout after swimming practice. She was not looking forward to have swimming and the interview back to back knowing how exuaste she would be after practice. Still the talent scouts were some of the top in the country and she couldnt pass up to earn their help to improve her career. After her run she returned to the dorm and prepared breakfastL gaeran tost-u egg sadwich her father used to cook for her when she was child. She made enough for her room mates and quitely. She showered and changed to cleaner clothes and went for her meeting with her dead. She waited for an hour but he didnt show up which was unlike him so texted him. A reply came soon after, appologising saying he was held up at work and will reorgonize the meeting when he was free. Again she could not help her feel like something was off though unsure what.

She soon shook the thought of she had just been watching too many movies, delays like these happen all the time after all. She practice for the interview for an hour or so before returning to her dorm grabing her swimming things and made her way to the pool. She noted some of her team nearby and greated them. "Hey fellas." She greated with a smile. "What's up?"

Eric heard the door open and looked up, noticing his roommate and another male. Eric waved, grinning at his roommate and faltered a bit as he noticed the freshman beside him. He just dipped his head and turned to the water again. Eric couldn't help but grin when he heard the two. He watched Ji Hwan leave and the other make a bee line for the locker room.

Eric heard footsteps and noticed the brother come out again, shirtless and just dipped his head and turned back to the water, not wanting the male to see him blush. He may be around shirtless men all day, but this guy was new so it felt awkward. He frowned at the sudden question, biting down on his lip. He knew he was a slight reason people thought the team was bad. He was a big source of fun for the dance team. Eric started to write on his sketchpad but the captain had already answered.

Eric's eyes lit up when he saw the captain and he swung an arm around him gently leaning onto his chest. He popped a bubble, breaking into a large smile. He waved to Soojin, and then continued to pop the bubbles around him.[/COLOR]

Tomaya woke up not long after she heard some one leave, instantly getting up and out of bed. She searched for her phone blindly, once she finally found it she checked the time and sighed in relief. She quickly hopped into the shower and changed for the day. Her family had given her the day off to relax, even though Yuko protested. Yuko flopped down on her bed with a sigh of defeat. Checking the time again. She didn't have to go to the swim meeting till 2, and she was not in the mood to sketch.

Instead, she finally decided to just enjoy the morning, so she went outside with her headphones and started stretching. She started her typical yoga routine, relaxing until her phone alarm warned her it was lunchtime. Packing her bag, and jogged until she reached her family cafe, slipping in the back to make herself something to eat and pack snacks for the meet in case someone wanted something. She ate quickly and started the walk back to the pool.

She opened the doors to reveal her teammates sitting and standing around the pool. Seeing the pool itself made her shiver. Sure, she wasn't afraid to swim anymore however that didn't mean she wasn't haunted by the fear of water. She instantly slid her bag away from the pool and joined the group conversation. "Rumours huh? I liked to know who spread them." The flare in her eyes twinkled before her smile returned. She sat and dangled her feet into the water. "Hello everyone~! " She spoke up to make she was heard, before watching the group interact. She was in a considerably good mood considering she didn't want to fight someone today.

Seong Ah was knocked out and didn't hear any of her roommates tiptoe out of the dorm. She was out cold and was honestly very tired, wishing she would've spent another two hours sleeping rather than watching celebrity gossip. However, her alarm had caused to stir out of bed- in embarrassment. A loud boy group pop song plunked from her phone, making her wake immediately to turn off the alarm and to make the walk of shame out of bed. Seong Ah then couldn't go back to bed, now that was already awake and came to the realization that the others had left.
Seong Ah sighed and fumbled to the bathroom and brushed her teeth with sloth, stretching her legs as well as her back before washing her face and doing her daily necessities, which seemed to grow perkier and more cheerful as she continued.

With some breakfast in her system and a little more motivation to start the day, Seong Ah then continued to walk out the door and went to seize the day, in bad terms or in good ones. Seong Ah then went to a cafe to eat some breakfast and drink coffee as well as trying to remember her schedule for the week, specifically with her job at the amusement park.
Her job at the amusement park wasn't bad, minus the heavy and big costume and the constant sweating, the dehydration...actually it was kinda bad. Fortunately, Seong Ah didn't have any singing duty today, but she did have to pass out flyers for the new and forthcoming show for the amusement park characters.
With a light sigh, Seong Ah closed her planner and ordered a bagel to go with her coffee and soon going to the Natatorium where members of the swim club should be, leaving anxious about knowing what to say.

-
When she arrived at the doors, she greeted the group with a subtle smile while some other members seemed to just be walking in (along with another walking out) seemed to be.

She soon made it with the other members, grabbing the whiff of chlorine of the pool and the members of the swim club. "Hello, I'm Bok Seong Ah, nice to meet all of you!" she chirped.

Won Jae shut his eyes, listening to the almost nonexistent creaking off the building. Slowly he opened his eyes when he felt someone nudge him. A smile appeared on his face as he realized who the person was. "Oh hey," He greeted after he had taken a glance at the notepad. Directing his gaze towards the door, he watched as the brothers appeared. Moving, he sat up, using his arms to hold himself up. He watched in amusement as the two spoke before trailing his eyes back to the water.

Hearing the mention of the rumors made annoyance burn in his chest, but he wouldn't let his mood plummet just yet. It was too early in the day and already feeling so terrible, it wouldn't take long for him to fall. "Makes sense..." He trailed off. He didn't need to ruin everyone's mood and tell everyone about the rumor drafts the dancers had been coming up with. Besides, the whole situation was immature. The people believing these said rumors were ignorant and should probably smarten up. What if the rumors got to the school? Would they just decide to stop funding them? Ultimately running the swim team into the ground?

The coach still hadn't arrived yet... Maybe he was speaking with someone important or maybe he still was at lunch... Whatever it was, Won Jae hoped he would appear soon. Every so often, he looked at the door to see if the captain was there or not.

A grin appeared on his face as he noticed one of his good friends, Tomaya appear. "Tomaya~, it's been forever since we've last spoken. A day is such a long time, don't you think?"

He let out an unintentional laugh as a freshman came up and introduced herself to the group. "We already know who you are," He replied plainly, with a hint of mischief in his voice.

Confused, Flustered ➳

Min Ah was more than ready to start swimming again...if only she knew where she was going.

For the past 20 minutes or so, Min Ah spent that small amount of time desperately trying to look for the indoor swimming pool. She was sure that they had one...or maybe they didn't? Maybe the last few days were a dream and she had come to some random building in search for a place that never even existed? She was spiraling, thinking of the worst possible scenarios leading her to jump to conclusions.

20 minutes ago she walked into what she thought was the swimming area and quickly walked out, thinking that it was the wrong room. For some reason a few people in different areas of the room would change her whole perspective on it.

She asked around the building to find directions to the right room until an upperclassmen pointed her in the right direction. She walked in shamefully realizing the mistake that she made. She hoped that no one noticed or made fun of her for it. She didn't want to be known as that girl that got lost on the first few days.

When looking around the room so that she wouldn't make the same mistake again, she came to see a group of people sitting by the pool. She had already forgotten half of their names, and she hoped that she wouldn't need to know them for the time being. She didn't hear them talk about anything in particular. They all seemed to be talking in smaller groups, mostly idle chatter.

She saw one of the upperclassmen sitting shirtless and wondered if they were going to start swimming today. She hesitated before approaching their team captain and tapping him on the shoulder, trying to ignore the bubbles surrounding her and the rest. She didn't feel like crouching, so she bent slightly forward feeling her small backpack creep up her back. She wasn't exactly sure how to start off her sentence.

"When are we swimming?" she asked, her eyes almost pleading for him to say that they were starting.

Yeong Won had started off early, just like everyday. She had woken at sunrise to go for her jog, then arrived back home a hour later to shower and go out for the day before she had to meet with the other swimmers. She had quickly changed, not bothering her other roommates if they were there. She double checked she had her camera, keys, and phone before heading out and walking to town to do an update to her vlog.

A few hours later, she had glanced at the time as she uploaded her video, realizing she was a tad bit late. At least, her opinion, she preferred being early. She grabbed her drink and started rushing back to the campus. For once she actually ran. Yeong arrived at the doors to the pool and quickly composed her self before walking in, realizing she was a little early since not everyone had arrived. Shrugging it off, she gave a bright smile to everyone as she set her stuff down away from the pool before walking over to the group. She sat with the others quietly, leaning aganist Tomaya and closing her eyes. Leaning in Tomaya's lap and gazing toward the group. "Why does everyone look do distraught? Must I pretend to fall to get some smiles upon the gloom? " She acted why over dramatic to encourage some smiles or laughs out of the group. Actually, the group just looked tired, but Yeong was always one for attention.

turning his head towards soojin, sungjoo smiled and waved at her. "nothing much. we're all just waiting on the rest of the team and our coach." he then continued to get comfortable around eric. maneuvering himself so that he could sit comfortably behind the younger boy, and letting eric lean against his chest, sungjoo wrapped his free arm around his teammates waist. every now and then, he kisses the top of the boys head. because of their height difference, this was one of sungjoo's rare opportunities to freely give kisses to eric.

hearing yuko behind them, sungjoo turned slightly. he was aiming the toy and blowing bubbles towards her. it was his way of greeting, since he was a little preoccupied with hugging his best friend at the moment. "yeah, i'd like to know who started the rumors too, but we can't get into anymore fights. i already got the first strike when i punched a guy last year. coach says we can't have anymore bad press." he shrugs, continuing his assault of bubbles on everyone. when he recognized the voice of one of the new freshman's on the team, sungjoo smiled her way and slightly bowed her way. he chuckled as seong ah introduced herself to them. finding it cute and he felt extremely happy to get another soft type on the team. he shook his head at won jae's little mischief towards seong ah's introduction. "okay let's not be too rough on the freshman" sungjoo laughs, nudging won jae's arm playfully with his fist, before returning his hand to rest over eric's stomach.

sungjoo blinked as he felt a tap on his shoulder. turning once again to face yet another one of the new freshman's on the team. he smiled gently min ah, waiting patiently for her to say or ask whatever she wanted. when she mentioned about when they were going to start swimming. sungjoo nods, letting out an acknowledging sound. "ah well, we still have to show the freshman, that includes you, around the pool and stuff, but that shouldn't take long." he looks around the room, making a mental headcount of everyone who was currently there. "we're still waiting on one more freshman, the rest of our team, and our coach, but i'm sure we'll be able to get some swimming done today" sungjoo smiles reassuringly at her, understanding her eagerness to get in the pool.

noticing yeong won sit down with them, sungjoo's smile practically brightened. "ah! hey yeongie!" he greets her, putting down his bubble gun so that he could reach over and grab her hand. he laced his fingers with her, grinning from ear to ear as he swung their connected arms up and down. at the same time, sungjoo never lets go of his hold on eric. "you don't need to fall. after all, we can't have you getting hurt. there's no worries though, almost all our happy viruses are here." in his head, sungjoo pondered about whether or not if this was a good time to talk about his niece. he has been keeping some of his more closer friends on the team somewhat up to date about his sister in laws pregnancy, and some of them were here with him at the moment, but he didn't know if talking about it would make it awkward for the others. sungjoo decided to heck with it and just spit it out, he just wanted to brag about it a little. "random change in topic, but guess what yeongie, as of today, your captain is officially an uncle! my niece was born just a few hours ago."

Worries from before seemed to melt away at the presence of her friends, taking her mind away from her father. Particularly as her curiosity seemed to peak at the mention of rumors."Rumors?" She asked her gathered fellows" What this about rumors?" However she didnt get the chance to get answers as it seemed others had arrived. The first was a new girl, a pretty little brunette with a peaches and cream complexion. Soojin smiled warmly at her and offered her hand. "Welcome, too be honest we never thought we would have any new recruits this year. Glad to see someone taking an interest in swimming."

She greeted the other as they came and she greated each warmly, glad to see the group together again. She turned her attention back to Eric as he spoke. "You are unusually gooy and cheery today even for you." She said teasingly."Does this mean that there is a new addition to the Joo family?" She asked curiously.

Before any of the other guys could answer, the captain of team, or as Jun Ho previously know him as that regular who likes his mint chocolate chip ice cream with just enough caramel sauce that he gets it right the first try. Their exchanges never mentioned that could possibly identify each other as future teammates, though in hindsight, he should've noticed the faint whiff of chlorine that every swimmer struggles to hide during their day to day routines with the normals.

The answer to his questions was unexpected to him. Drama, as Ji Hwan puts it was something of the past, left outside the gates of university and very unlike the cruel social hierarchy of high school. No, university is big enough for people not to care for something so trivial when education seems to be the main concern for Korea.

He frowns. But he knows it's a mental reaction because his face is still blank at the indistinct reflection on the water. Ji Hwan theorised long ago that his face muscles are born unreactive, and could only be triggered by the strongest signals of his brain. And then he was surrounded by bubbles, which clashing duality of subject topic and gentle environment made him very pleased and relaxed.

"I see," was his only reply. He watches the floating spheres inattentively, ignoring how he made the air tense from Won Jae's unsteady vibe.

Eric on the other hand remained quiet, as he should be. Jun Ho has been told that he was mute due to medical reasons, and he wonders how he lives with it knowing that it would be bothersome to write everything he wants to say on a sketchpad. He been very unresponsive to his presence but changed when the captain showed up, causing him to rule out the possibility of Eric being naturally withdrawn.

As more people started to show up, he allows the conversation to flow without him, slouching forwards and gently kicking his legs. He only greets the newcomers with some eye contact and nothing more. The lost girl brings up a question. He was glad that they were going to swim or he changed for nothing. The most recent comment about Sung Joo, dear captain being an uncle. "Congrats."

If it were him, he'd feel old.

CHOI JI HWAN

Ji Hwan rushed back to his dorm room, bursting open his door and heading for the interior showers where his goggles hung from the steel install they had for drying their gear after practice. He wipes them with a nearby towel for extra measure.

How did his brother notice he was missing his goggles were beyond him. Jun Ho works in mysterious ways with that intelligent brain of his.

When he returns, a crowd has formed on that little section of pool, waiting for the coach to show up and tell them what to do. The first few days in the swim team is a bit of a contrast to the rest of chaotic young adult life.

He was but a freshman about a year ago, and he revelled in the seniority he has, which is a bit of fun to see their faces when they realised it. He only wishes his brother tries his best to make some new friends, and also not get too overworked from the academics side of things considering that he took law, which was wildly different than anyone else on the swim team.

"Hey hey hey, what'd I miss?" He greets enthusiastically, then goes to plop himself behind the younger Choi, an arm around his neck basically forcing him to lean back similarly to Eric and Sung Joo down to the height difference.

"Captain is an uncle now."

"Whoa really? That's great news, though don't you feel old?"

"Rude." Now, his taller counterpart stares up at him and his fingers playing with the skin of his forearm, pinching him lightly. Not angry, it's still blank but one can tell that he's very communicative with the way he looks at people. The eyes do all the work. Unfortunately under most circumstances, he doesn't do it the same way to strangers because eye contact is considered bold in Korea.

He laughs. "Jun Ho, are you socialising?"

"I don't know. Am I?" The boy looks away.

"You are! I'm so proud of you!"

"That sounded sarcastic, Jihyung."

"I'll have to take a picture to celebrate this." He continues as if he wasn't interrupted and Jun Ho only sighs, before leaving his chest to slouch back towards the water. "Not feeling snappy today are you?"

He swore he could've heard his brother mutter something about other people not knowing how their dynamic worked and he didn't want to look like an ass. Ji Hwan laughs good-naturedly and rolled up his jeans so that they wouldn't get wet when he moves next to him. He outstretched his arm as far as he could with an upper angle, making sure that everyone could pop their head in. They were missing a few people but he was sure that they wouldn't mind.

"Everyone can get in, come on!"

Eric leaned comfortably against the male, smiling as he watched the bubbles float through the air. He saw Jihwan walk in and waved, grinning at him. They weren't close, but they were roommates. He enjoyed the males company. Eric looked up as Sung Joo started to speak about his niece. Eric clapped excitedly, grabbing his pad and writing out a quick, "Congratulations Uncle Sung Joo." Eric put a winking face at the bottom and showed it too him.

Eric couldn't help but smirk at Jun Ho's comment and nodded. Eric watched the brothers bicker, and shook his head, smiling. The giant waved at everyone who had came in and stood up, pressing a light kiss to Sung joo's head and then heading over to his stuff. Eric started to sign the words, "Anyone want a snack?" but he remembered that none of them could understand sign language and quickly scribbled it down on his notebook, laying it beside Won Jae so he could possibly read it or answer.

Seong Ah's cheeks began to collect a rosy tint as she started to realize her mistake in introducing herself, quickly adhearing to her mistake and replying to him. "A-ah, yes..." she uttered flashing a sort of mousy smile at the upperclassman who replied. She quietly cleared her throat and soon heard another upperclassman speak to the other one, nudging him playfully before going back to coddling another member.
Seong Ah was then finally greeted by one of the female members of the team, with a simple handshake and a warm smile. "Thank you." Seong Ah chirped, "I hope we can get along and have a great year." She added, along with a slight bow for formality.
The swim club started to chat and mingle around, along with another newcomer arriving as well.

Honestly, The club seemed very entertaining and honestly she didn't know why people label them with bad rep...exceot for the rumors, but she felt that this was going to be fun. She soon then heard a member announce the he was an uncle as well as another member coming back from retrieving something, so she went to talk with the other lost girl who seemed to be a newcomer like her.
"Seems fun, huh?" She smiled.

Before getting a response from the team captain, Min Ah saw a woman walk through the nearby double doors and crack a joke. After she mentioned it, she did feel like the mood was a bit gloomy. But only for a short while.

She quickly responded with a frantic tone, "No don't do that! I'm happy see?" She tried her best to form a believable smile on her face whilst trying to reassure the woman. Unfortunately, her naive personality pertained to jokes as well. She would never want another member to feel the need to embarrass or hurt themselves just to bring up the atmosphere.

Upon hearing the response from the captain, Min Ah couldn't help but regret ever asking. She wasn't thinking of the others and she really only focused on what she wanted to do at the given moment. She didn't realize that there were still more people that were yet to arrive. She was always one to overthink these trivial things. She obviously didn't seem the type based on her carefree personality but she was the type to think critically about her actions. She never acted on these thoughts by changing the way she acted or anything, she would just keep it in the back of her mind like other things.

She later heard the news about Sungjoo's niece being born. She immediately smiled at the thought and muttered a soft, "Congratulations." He probably wouldn't have heard her in the midst of everyone talking but she didn't care. She hoped that by her facial expressions alone he'd be able to tell how she felt about it.

Not really knowing what to do with herself she pulled on the straps of her backpack, occasionally bouncing on the tips of her feet. Min-Ah was surprised to here the other freshman speak to her. She was almost taken aback by how innocent and cute she looked. Her face looked pale with just a bit of color to grab your attention. She thought it was strange, but like all of her observations, she dismissed it. Her first thought was to say, "Yea, my idea of fun is standing awkwardly away from the group and not actually getting in the pool." But she decided against it, not wanting to sound rude.

"Yea, I guess," she said. You could hear a bit of disappointment in her voice when she spoke. She couldn't really help it, and she didn't want to seem like she wasn't grateful for actually making the team.

When she heard Jihwan's invitation to get into the pool, she hesitated seeing as there were a few people taking up the space already. She wanted to put her feet in the water and kick them around for a bit but she was afraid that by doing so, her impulsiveness would cause her to go head first into the water.

Instead, she decided to set her backpack down by the wall and sit at the pool's edge, just about arms length away from the upperclassmen, with her legs crossed. She wasn't exactly shy, she just didn't feel close enough with any of the members yet to even really talk to them yet. She began fidgeting with her hands and quickly bouncing her leg up and down whilst trying to zone out when staring at her reflection in the water.

Min Ah tried to remember the incident at the beach.

Yuko merely watched as Yeong laid in her lap and sighed. "Out of everyone here you lay on me?" Yuko questioned as she poked the girl. "Oh stop being dramatic Yeongie or I will push you in the water." She whispered, turning as she heard a male voice call her name. Spotting Won Jae, she smiled and shifted to make sure she could look at him while she spoke. The smile on her face brighten. "A day is a very long time, it's nice to see you after such time." she chuckled and waved. Her attention was so focused on those she was talking to, she hadn't realized that some of freshman arrived already. Sure there was a handfull missing, but still.

She turned to the captain, listening to what he said and waving bubbles away. She wanted to say something, but it wasn't something she wanted to say in front of freshmen. She wouldn't have minded being blunt with the others, but the freshmen were not use to her yet. Instead, she smiled and gave that look of agitation as she closed her mouth. She listened to his story of becoming an uncle. "Congratulations, Sung Joo," she said, watching the others. She saw one of the freshmen, Min Ah she believed sit nearby. She grabbed her fellow roommate and pulled her toward the group, making sure they were in the range of Ji Hwan's photo. "You don't need to sit so far, we may swim but we aren't sharks. " She chuckled.

The girl, or lost girl in this case, was a unique looking person, with light colored eyes that matched her hair; she was honestly a eye turning person. Being the naturally curious person that is Seong Ah, she would of course question or even a subtle little ice breaker.
The girl was not what one would call someone who "could read the air" . Rather, she replied quite seriously at a joke one of the older members. In a way, Seong Ah thought it was rather winsome and cute. So, when Seong Ah took the plunge and opened conversation, she didn't quite expect for her to reply so timidly and downcast. Seong Ah looked at her, puzzled them with an understanding look. "Ah, You've heard of the rumors too? Well...I don't think they're quite as I excepted..." She thought aloud, tapping her chin with her index finger. The embers seemed quite close as they leaned upon each other, closely resembling a family of some sort. Seong Ah chuckled and put out her hand to the girl. "I'm Seong Ah. Bok Seong Ah." She chirped gleefully smiling at her she waited for her reply.

Seeing as he got no answer, Eric turned to the girl who seemed a little out of place. Eric studied her for a minute, remembering her name was Min Ah. He hesitantly reached out and poked her shoulder, holding up his sketchbook where the words, "Can you help me bring snacks?" were printed. He couldn't carry them all himself, even though his arms were long, they weren't that long. The girl looked lost, so he wanted to help her. He wasn't new this year, but he knew how it felt to be new and know no one.

Eric pulled the paper back and smiled at her. Eric was a little excited to make new friends. He already trusted the team last year, and he was even more excited to befriend all of the new freshman. He just hoped they wouldn't be rude about his inability to speak.

Che Min Ah

Disoriented, Excited ➳

**Pretend this is before she started spacing out**
Min Ah was confused when she heard the other freshman mention rumors. She had only joined the club about a couple days ago and it already seemed like the rest of the group was two steps ahead of her. Maybe she was supposed to hear what the rest of them were taking about earlier? She didn't really pay much attention to what they were saying. More accurately, she couldn't really hear them from the entrance to the pool.

"What rumors?" she thought to herself, completely oblivious to what she was talking about. She decided not to ask aloud, not wanting to be bothersome with too many questions.

"Che Min Ah," she said a bit less in a sour mood now that she had someone to talk to. It sounded a bit sad and pitiful, but she didn't really feel close enough to the others to be able to start a conversation without the fear of awkward silence. Though she was sure that she'd eventually come to that point with Seong Ah, she was happy that she was at least able to say at least a few words to someone else. Especially another freshman.****

---------

**By the pool**
She felt as if she could hear the hollow sound of the water reaching her ears. It was almost soothing and calming. At the moment, it felt as if she was actually there. It may have only seemed this way because of how long ago it was. She had all that time to remember that time in her life, and many chances to change the memory as time went on. Maybe she wasn't as calm as she thought she was. That wasn't important though. She was glad that it was calm now. If not for that false sense of protection and relaxation, who knows what kind of nightmares and trauma would arise?

Min Ah was almost immediately brought to reality and had to squint for a second when she felt the lights of the room almost screaming at her to snap out of it. She felt an arm pull her to the side and was surprised to see it was her roommate. What was her name again?Tomaya Yuko? She wasn't exactly sure at this point. If anything, she probably felt a little more out of it than usual.

She quickly looked around, trying to comprehend what was going on. When she looked up she saw an outstretched arm holding a phone with its front camera on. It took her by surprise and she instinctively came closer to the upperclassmen that had pulled her over. Not because she wanted to take a picture, or actually get closer to this person that wasn't really much more than an acquaintance to her, but because it was the first thing she could think to do when in front of a camera. For some reason she thought she'd be able to hide her face in her arm, but that wasn't the case. She tried her best to look photogenic in the small phone screen. She wasn't the best at taking group photos. Maybe if she took a selfie on her own, she would be able to look nice enough to meet her own standards.

After feeling a tap on the shoulder she turned to see who she assumed was another upperclassmen. She looked at the words printed on the sketchbook. She read it a bit too slowly and he soon took it out of her view. Fortunately she was able to make out what he was trying to say. She found it odd that he decided to write out a message to her rather than to just ask but she didn't think too hard on it.

"Oh. Alright," she said with eagerness in her voice. She was excited to be able to do something other than just sitting around a pool on a saturday afternoon. She stood up and smiled, feeling her eagerness catch up to her. Maybe she was a bit too excited to leave. After all, she was only really helping him.

She quickly stood up on her feet, ignoring the rest of the group and not bothering to tell them that she was leaving.

"I'll only be gone for a short while," she thought to herself before following behind the older male.

Riku Takahashi

tumblr_o83m09ll701qeqho3o1_1280.jpg
Riku has been up since 5:00 in the morning working on a new song. Later on, he was going to present it to the university choral conductor and hopefully, the university chorus was going to performit at their next concert. As he finished writing the harmonization of the first 16 measures, Riku grinned as he thought about how cool is day was going to be. After the swim practice, Riku was going to go home forafew hours and then go to work. Speaking of swim practice, Riku stretched as he looked at the time on his desk clock. Realizing what time it was, Riku quickly saved his newest composition, close dhis laptop, placed it in his bag, changed into his swimming attire, grabbed his goggles, wallet, and his composition journal. Not eating anything yet, he grabbed an entire bag of leftovers from his work and ran out of his dormitory, towards the swimming pool. Once there he quickly pushed the door open, narrowly avoiding hitting a few people, and started briskly walking towards the rest of his swimmates.

"Sorry, I'm late guys! I got wrapped into my newest choral composition and lost track of time!" Riku panted, before holding up the bag,
"I did bring food from my job though if you guys want to help yourselves to it! I forgot to bring drinks, though ..."

Riku took one of the sandwiches from the bag and bit into it before looking around at everyone and asking, "Did I miss anything?"

Choo Yeong Won
Outfit || XXX

After Yeong Won had becomed noticed, she chuckled a bit. "But Yuko your so comfrable. " She teased before sitting up from the girl's lap to comfortably hold the captains hand when he reached for it. "I won't fall then," She paused trying to come up with some witty phrase when he swung their arms and annouced he had become an uncle. Everyone who heard, which was pretty much everyone, started to congraduate him. "Congrats Sung Joo," She said with a huge grin on her face. She turned in time to see that Ji Hwan had his phone outstrech and breifly let go of the captain hand to pose for the picture, before grabbing his hand again, so she didn't feel rude for letting go suddenly.

She noticed Eric and a freshman girl...Che Min Ah she believed, leaving the group. 'It's a shame I'm not good with names.' Sighing, she smiled again to look over the rest of the group. She sees the Choi siblings by the water talking to each other, and Riku had just joined them. Everyone else was talking among themselves. She turned back to the captain and tilted. "How many more are absent? Should we get ready without the two?" She asked, looking deep in thought. pasta pasta JenniPerson JenniPerson
