[how does she use them?] bella is normally very discreet about her power, liking to keep it hidden, and un-used. she is more likely to utilise her abilities at school in her safest environment, than even at home or out and about, where anything could happen. in times of conflict bella is always on guard, and her powers will immediately start to show [teeth growing/eyes glowin/claws extending] be this on purpose or as a result of pure instinct. she has been known to attempt to tease others playfuly and openly threaten others [should she be provoked] through growls, bareing of her teeth, flashing of her eyes and unsheathing of her claws. so far, her hold on her power is relatively strong, however, she has most trouble with controlling the shift when her emotions get out of wack. she blames it on instinct sometimes, but she knows her mutation is tightly linked to her emotions, and she needs to learn to keep them in check. they could hurt someone, even herself, one day if she can't control her shift
