I'm excited to see how Kirin reacts to what appears to be a giant metal spider on the back of a person with a metal face and three eyes

SpotBandit SpotBandit You know, I just realized - Verse might be the only person present who Kirin can take his blindfold off in front of.

I hadn't thought of that when I decided Verse should head for him, but that's actually quite convenient

"Growf!"
lol ... I had one character who would have been immune, but he might have been a little OP. He was cursed by Circe. He actually tried to commit suicide by staring into the eyes of a Medusa. (Coincidentally the Medusa's name was Medea, same as the planet Bornite is from.) It had no effect on him. Just the opposite. He saw the Medusa without her curse.

Well, if he can take a Gorgon stare from the original Medusa without getting petrified, he was indeed probably too overpowered for this RP.

Mitheral

"Growf!"
Well, he was that 14th century spy I mentioned. He eventually became a god. So ... yeah. It was only the curse that protected him. It also made everyone who looked at him feel hate, loathing and try to attack him ... almost everyone.

Huh. Well, in that regard, curses tend to not work on machinery, so Verse would most likely be fine. It's just the synthetic doctor in question is a tad fragile, physically speaking.

I had a string bean in my other RP named Killerie. She was a giant centipede who liked hugs, friends, and technology, in that order.

SpotBandit

Should be studying.
SpotBandit SpotBandit You know, I just realized - Verse might be the only person present who Kirin can take his blindfold off in front of.
Knowing this then Kirin would definitely take the opportunity to take off his blindfold and use his eyes around Verse, which he'd be exhilarated to do. He'd probably follow Verse around like a lost dog if he ends up bonding with him.

MAN CENTIPEDES ARE SO COOL
She sounds like an absolute bean, I love the juxtaposition of being some creepy crawly insect and being huggable and friendly.

I actually had some art of her! Hang on a sec while I find it.

The human in front is an elf named Elnaril, and the fluffy person in the back is a boggleman named Rico (SpoiledBread's character, in fact!)

I'd like you to be aware that Verse will absolutely try to teach Kirin science if he follows him for longer than thirty seconds.

As someone that does art, that art is absolutely sick and Killerie looks so cute my heart
I was imagining some combination of human/centipede but a massive centipede is just as cute now that I think about it.

Provided science isn't really a thing Kirin has back at home, you better bet he'd be intrigued to understand it. He may even be inclined to try to study it further because that'd be kind of wholesome, him trying to understand it and Verse treating it as second nature.

"So snakes growing out of my head... that's not normal where you come from?"
Verse reconsiders life
"Not really, no."

At least my last post I managed to get Bornite a little more into character.

Just FYI, Bornite is the name for Peacock Ore. It is Iron, copper sulfide and may contain traces of gold.

Most of Verse's inner monologue upon hearing Kirin talk about home is going to be 'there is going to be so much science I can science wherever he's from'

Makes me think of Bismuth.
Also

Am I a dragon?

Oh .. just how sophisticated is Verse? I suspect Bornite won't be able to hear his thoughts, just maybe sense the electrical impulses. He would have to truly approach the whole being alive idea.
