a bold statement announcing one's clearance— authorized.

this is a placeholder code with no scrolls/buttons/links, just a simple employee-badge-esque access card with some funky coloring for dramatic effect. i threw this together while procrastinating a much tankier code that is draining my life force as we speak. honestly, this code is kinda confusing to customize at first but is made much easier with a handy color picker open in another tab.

the light version of this code uses an alternate blend mode from the dark version— color burn and difference, respectively. i wrote the original code as the dark version with a black background and very quickly found that when i tried to use the difference blend mode on a white background, it went john cena and made the code look very stupid. color burn gives results that look nothing like difference, but i found that it can still look nice if you just mess around to see what colors work with your picture. you can also always change the blend mode for different vibes!

please pay careful attention to the notes i've left throughout to help you when editing the code to suit your needs! recommended instructions for picking colors + most values you'd want to edit are at the very top, but i've detailed everything anyways in case you wanna play around with the code.

another thing to note is that card background will not show up on light mode if it's set to white, so please be mindful of that when choosing your palette! i also highly suggest updating the color names within the comments to help you keep track of what's what.
