Realistic or Modern The Simulation [NOW CLOSED]

Full Name: Kadence Gracie Jones
Nickname(s) Gracie
Age[/B] 17
Gender Identity Female
Sexual Orientation Heterosexual

Personality
I suck at these so bear with me.

Gracie is a up-beat person. She is friendly towards everyone and anyone, no matter how bad of a person they are or were. She thinks everyone deserves another chance, no matter if other people has screamed at her not to. She is always there to help others in need, even if she is struggling with anything in her life, she won't pass up the moment of helping a homeless person or a friend who is struggling. Mannerisms were drilled into her mind as a young child so she would never disrespect a adult or anyone for that matter. She was never the one to "talk shit" about anyone and always saw the good sides of people. She never spoke bad to anyone's face. No matter how upset they made her, she would never tell them to their face that she was upset with them. She would always get over upsetting things quickly and never let anything get her down.

Now onto another part of her personality, she is a hopeless romantic. She's always fantasizing over someone who is just gonna sweep her off her feet, bring her flowers, walks on the beach to watch the sunset and cute picnics. She was always reading romantic books and fantasizing being with the guys in the books and just wishing she would get what those men gave to their lovers. Honestly anything got her fantasizing romantic things of being swept off her feet by certain characters in movies and fantasy books also. She was a notorious reader and always had her nose in a book when she had free time. Not much interaction with other people, she wished everything was as easy as it is in the books.

Jesse wasn't much of being athlete, she actually cried herself out of most exercises. Now putting in effort to find out what she was gonna have for dinner, she will gladly put effort into that. She was always the one that after she had lunch, she was wondering what she would have for dinner. The girl loved to eat. Picky eater, but loved to snack when she was bored. Now with her picky eating habits... When she was little she wouldn't eat cheese or cheese pizza. With cheese pizza, she didn't like it was just cheese.. but would take off the pepperonis on her pizza and eat it that way. She was honestly a child that didn't make any sense but now that she's a little older she's trying new foods.

Add-ons after this point she is a little shy. Although she isn't afraid to talk to people, she won't go up to new people and start a conversation. She wasn't big on partners in class with people she didn't know and would rather work on things alone. In social situations, she will sit in the corner and listen to the conversation around her instead of joining in. She honestly thinks her opinion in most situations isn't needed.
She has horrible anxiety, constantly worrying about who is happy, and what others think of her and constantly worrying about her actions and what she does and how it would affect others. Her mind is a constant what if on every situation.
She wasn't much of a athletic person, but her grandparents insisted she did something so she did competitions in weapons(throwing knives, shooting bows and arrows, things like that). She did that since she was 10 so she's very skilled when it comes to throwing things. Her grandpa always took her hunting to help her skills and taught her how to survive in the wild and also start dance class.

Background
Gracie actually grew up in a small town in Texas named Santa Anna. It was so small she had to drive 45 minutes away just to get to a Walmart. So small that everyone she went to school with was the same group since pre-K. Her mom worked at the hospital in the town that had the Walmart and her dad was always home with her. When she was young young her dad was always home with her while her mom worked. Didn't bother young Gracie though, she loved her dad and everything about him. She could never notice that her mom was always upset with her dad until one day when she was six, her mom kicked her dad out. The last memory of him that lil Gracie had of him was her standing at a open glass door crying as he left and didn't come back. She was too young to understand the whole situation, but it took her a few days to realize that he wasn't coming back. She wasn't the only one living with her mom. She had a older brother named Parker who had a different dad than Gracie. Parker's dad came around more than her dad and was always taking Parker out to do things, leaving his sister at home. Being so young at that time she didn't understand much. She didn't understand why her dad didn't see her as much as Parker's did. She wished she could go off and do all the fun things that Parker got to do.

As more years passed, the idea of doing such things stopped crossing the girls mind and she moved onto other things that was more interesting to her, like Pokemon. At this time her mom had a new boyfriend named James. Now James scared Gracie. He was stricter than her mom and he had some anger issues. At this point in her life, she was somehow always in trouble, grounded, constantly getting yelled at by this James. Her mom thought that his logic was good and never questioned his discipline on her. For years Gracie lived the sheltered, grounded life while her older brother lived his days doing whatever he wanted. It wasn't fair in her mind and made the girl quite sad but she didn't dare mention such things to her mom or her boyfriend at this time in age. She just went with it, growing up to not care what punishments she was given. Didn't care what things were taken from her as a punishment for not washing dishes, she just went with it and went about her day.

Being grounded all the time didn't give her much friends to be with. She wasn't allowed to hang out with friends, or go anywhere for that matter so she really didn't try to make any. Of course she was friendly with some people in school, had the people she talked to, sat with at lunch, but never saw them outside of those times. Honestly the girl barely had a life outside of her own room. By the time she turned eight, the angry James became her step-dad and they had her little sister Macy. Macy got all the attention, at least in Gracie's eyes she did. The newborn grew up literally getting everything given to her. Every toy she pointed at, every sweet treat she cried for. Anything a child wanted, she had. When Macy got to three and Jesse to ten, Macy learned that she could do whatever to Gracie and the older sibling couldn't do anything to stop her. She wasn't given the authority to tell Macy no or quit on anything the little toddler was doing. Each time Gracie would try to tell her little sister to stop doing something, here would comes James yelling at her to shut up and that she can't tell Macy what to do. Gracie grew up to not caring about anything since everything she did was completely wrong in James eyes. She started to fully give up on school, fully give up on doing anything to better her life. It just stayed the same for her throughout her years as a child and pre-teen.

When she reached her ninth birthday, Gracie's grandparents came into the picture and took the young girl away from her mom and step-dad. Her Grandma was tired of how the little girl was being treated and wanted to give her a better life. Took her all the way to California where the grandparents owned a few oil fields and finally started building Gracie's pride back up and fixed the damage that her step-dad and mother has caused. Her grandma was watching tv one day when the Simulation was introduced and they were looking for a few teens to test it. Her grandma thought this would be a good idea to help Gracie get out of the funk she was put in and to meet new people. They bought her way into the program so she would for sure be able to do it.

(my CS, finally)

Full Name: Lady Andromeda Twyla Cassiopeia-Celine
Nickname(s): Andi; Celine
Age: 17
Gender Identity: Female
Sexual Orientation: Demiromantic

Personality
Andi is the sort of girl who will fight you if you talk badly to her; she will not stand for it. She strongly believes that if you haven’t got anything nice to say about her, don’t say it at all. This is one of the things that makes her seem rather stuck up on occasion. The other thing that makes her seem stuck up is… Well, she can be stuck up. It’s not her fault, blame her father. She can be quite bossy at times, if people refuse to do what she says. At the same time, she just will not listen if anyone tries to tell her what to do.
Andi isn’t all bad, though. She is genuinely kind towards others that she gets to know and like. She definitely does not share her father’s opinion of ‘poor’ people - which to her father usually means anyone who doesn’t have at least a million pounds to spare - and really does try her best to not come across as a snob.

  • Due to Andi's education and upbringing, she knows seven foreign languages; Japanese, French, German, Latin, Spanish, Italian, and Mandarin
  • Driving
  • Horse-riding
  • Fencing
  • Anything and everything to do with hunting
  • Sneaking out of the house

Appearance
Andi dyes her hair black and purple, as a sign of her rebellion against her father. This is reflected in every aspect of her daily outfit. Instead of dressing 'ladylike', she prefers ripped jeans and a hoodie and several piercings. Her eyes are wide and olive green, which complement her natural tan like the stars complement the moon. At five foot six, she's also quite slim, which is to be expected from what she does to fill her time.

Background
Her mother came from a family that was self made, having dragged themselves out of poverty, and establishing a massive empire through less-than-legal means. Her father, meanwhile, was born in money, and due to that has no idea the value of either the dollar, or a hard-days work. Naturally, while her mother shows some humility, her father shows absolutely none. With an arrogance equal to the current U.S. president, her father is the cause of her rebellious streak.

Her father had sent her to an expensive private school for most of her childhood, in the hopes that a 'proper heir' and 'lady' would be developed, there. This was quickly proven not to be the case, as she was expelled from every private school her father sent her to, for fighting with other students. Instead of being friends with people in the same social class as her, Andi had quickly gained a reputation for spending time with the less savory people in her generation.

At the age of sixteen, Andi's mother, who, to an extent, understood Andi's rebellious attitude, and instead of limiting her freedom, like her father tried to do, she used her family's connections to get Andi a fake ID. She felt that Andi being allowed to explore the world she lived in, make mistakes, and even get hurt, was what was best for her.

When Andi's father began funding an experiment to create a simulation, accessible through virtual reality, Andi was instantly interested. Her father wanted nothing of it, though. This just made Andi want to be a Beta Tester for it, even more. Even to the point where she forged an application, using her fake ID (which used a different name than her birth certificate).

She was banking on the idea that her snobby father wouldn't care to watch the experiment, as long as it brought them more money. She was right, and she was selected as a 'preferential candidate' by the scientists and programmers who invented the prototype simulation.

Other
  • Her first name really is Lady. Her father called her that so that he could introduce Andi as “Lady Andromeda”, without going through the trouble of buying a ladyship for her. Her parents just call her Andromeda.
  • “Celine” is the name on Andi's fake ID.
