Realistic or Modern The Shared Diary of 407 Aspen Lane

Aspen Lane is by no means glamourous. You wonder why this apartment building stands sandwiched inbetween the other sleek, modern complexes given its outdated form. And yet, you sign yourself for a viewing anyway. You were proven right, it's nothing special. You already knew that when the ad boasted it was a 'cozy apartment in the city centre'. Cozy meant small and sure enough, situated on the 4th floor, 407 is big enough to not bump into someone when going to the bathroom, but small enough to force interactions. There's 4 decent bedrooms, a semi-functional bathroom, an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge, and a lot of loose floorboards.

4-5 strangers put down their names and agree to split rent with eachother. Tenants could range from students, eager to be independent and experience the highs and lows of living (almost) alone for the first time. Or employed people juggling their meetings and meal preps. Or... are just individuals going through it?

None of you expect much, it's just a place to live in "-for now", you all tell yourselves. You already write this off as a rough patch, a stepping stone to something better, a transitional phase until you find your footing in the big city.

But for now, you update your address on shopping sites and apps to:

I mentioned on another thread I created, called Group RP Ideas, that 2 people could also room together if more than 3 people were interested in the roleplay.
So, we can implement this idea! If you decide to join, the roleplay will then be closed to others. The character sheet is linked.
