Alright I might be a little dumb but like, are all the characters sharing one apartment? Because I thought they were just living on the same floor. I maybe should have read it better-

I briefly amended my post at the end so you get more options when Soren interacts with Elizabeth and Amelia!

In accordance with our GM not being strict about response times, I'll wait until either Flip.a.coin posts again or Thursday arrives to make another post myself. I decided this because I think the conversation flows better if Soren responds first, but I also don't want to make the continuation of the RP dependent on Flip.a.coin responding.

(Asking as I don't want to accidentally offend anyone in RL. Am vegan myself in RL also. )

I think it works either way. We could wait for Flip.a.coin and TheTaleTellers to make a post, but I think Cab responding to Amelia and Elizabeth wouldn't close off other users from introducing their characters to the scene. We could wait for their responses after this, just so it completes the interaction between our 3 characters.

Coincidentally, I feel as though Soren and Coco's absences are on brand in their own ways. I can imagine Coco arriving late, when everyone's settled. It's as if she 'disturbs the peace'. As for Soren - I imagine him to hang back, watching interactions unfold and speaking when he's pestered lmao. Of course, Flip.a.coin and TheTaleTellers, correct me if I'm wrong!

And tying it to Cab's backstory, I think your idea works well. Cab tagging along for shopping, but then quitting public appearances shortly after, could confuse the characters given that they perceived him as very outgoing. It might even make them poke around in the future, looking for explanations for Cab's behaviour.

I'll be more mindful of this in the future, as I'm a mix so sometimes I get ahead of myself! I like planning out certain elements, like conflict points, but do agree that it seems more realistic to build and deepen dynamics as you go along. I'm curious about Cab's past though since the most interesting thing about Elizabeth is her endless rejection emails
