Background Story (significant life events or details which led them to 407): Amelia was born and raised in London to Henry (a cognitive scientist) and Chelsea (a clinical psychologist) Ashcroft, with three younger siblings. Influenced by her father's singularitarian beliefs, she's seeking to become an AI alignment researcher, and has enrolled in Columbia University for Cognitive Science to pursue that course.
Hobbies and Interests: Meditation, journaling, Mixed Martial Arts, reading, chatting
Misc./Additional Information: Her fashion aesthetic leans toward Chic Modernist.
Personality: Elizabeth is a dreamer and extremely passionate about what she does. She's independent and determined to reach her goals and keep the promises she makes. Despite working best when she's alone, she's also people-oriented and loves collaborative environments. She never turns down an opportunity to befriend someone, but has trouble maintaining her boundaries, causing her to feel burned out in certain friendships. She cares deeply about little details that can sometimes go unnoticed by others, so much so that she feels overwhelmed when obsessing over perfectionism. While it's nice to be hopeful, Elizabeth can sometimes be too idealistic about situations and her goals, which can annoy others who are more logical and realistic, viewing her as immature and naive.
Education: Obtained a BA in English at the University of St Andrews (aged 18-21). Elizabeth completed her MLitt in Creative Writing at the same university, graduating when she was 22.
Occupation: Editorial assistant at an indie publishing company, Halcyon Press.
Background story: Elizabeth was born into a middle-class family whose relatives were scattered all over the globe. Some family members remained back home in Nigeria, while others settled in the U.S.. the UK and Canada. This made things easier for her when she decided to study in Scotland for her English Literature degree, knowing some relatives were a short flight away in England. While she missed her friends in the U.S, she felt that this was a step closer to achieving her dreams of becoming a successful editor. She continued to do her MLitt before hitting a stump. She struggled to find a job while in Scotland. She briefly moved to London, sleeping in her cousin's guest room for 2 months as she scoured LinkedIn and Indeed for job listings. Any interview she did get selected to attend, she was met with a rejection email shortly after, stating she was not selected due to her lack of experience in the field. It had been months since graduation before her auntie, based in Texas, reached out to her. She happened to know someone from high school who was recruiting for an editorial assistant position at their new publishing company. It was still getting on its feet, and Elizabeth was warned that it wouldn't be glamorous. It may not even pay what she expected. However, the only other alternative was to carry on looking. To Elizabeth, she might as well get paid something and keep looking, instead of continuing to search for jobs with a low figure in her bank account. After she accepted her auntie's help, she was offered the role after a quick virtual interview, and began packing to shift her life to New York. Her funds are low, but her motivation has suddenly skyrocketed.
Hobbies/Interests: Attends the gym 5 times a week for strength training, cardio and pilates.
Loves organising her tasks and planning out her days, so she owns journals, planners and physical calendars.

When she can afford it, she'll attend a class to paint and take home ceramic mugs and pen pots.
She started crocheting but only makes keyring charms so far.
Misc./Additional Information: She prefers the nickname 'Lizzie', instead of 'Liz', 'Beth', 'Betty' and 'Ellie'. Her love languages are words of affirmation, quality time and acts of service, and her pet peeves are when people don't clean up after themselves in shared spaces.

Date of birth: June 17 Age: 21 Personality: Coco is a whirlwind of chaos, charm, and contradictions. Audacious and performative, Coco thrives on attention and bends every situation to her will with a smirk and a wink. She's clever, cunning, and socially razor-sharp- able to manipulate a room with the same ease she picks out a designer outfit. Her confidence is magnetic, but it masks a deep fear of vulnerability and ordinariness. She lives in the moment, driven by impulse and instinct, and while she avoids real emotional intimacy, she craves the thrill of messy connections. Authority means nothing to her; she views rules as props in the theater of her life. Beneath her bravado is a lonely, restless core that hungers for meaning but doesn't trust anything sincere. She'd rather blow something up......then, admit she's lost. Though, not cruel- she's unpredictable and often indifferent to the fallout of her antics- unless it ruins her outfits or personal fun of course.
Education (if applicable): Junior (should be a senior but got "distracted") student at a prestigious liberal arts university her father donated a building to.
Occupation (if applicable): Funemployed (None.) Background Story (significant life events or details which led them to 407): Coco was born into wealth, scandal, and curated perfection.
Raised in a Manhattan penthouse by nannies and PR teams, she grew up surrounded by designer clothes, private schools, and emotionally distant parents more concerned with headlines than hugs. By her teens, she was a tabloid regular—infamous for glitter-fueled pranks, expelled from multiple prep schools, and constantly toeing the line of being disowned. After a final incident involving a stolen horse and a scandalized headmaster, her family shipped her off to a low-profile university—out of the spotlight and out of their hair.
But Coco, ever impulsive, spent her entire housing stipend on a week-long Miami bender and returned to find herself locked out of student housing and cut off financially. Too proud to beg her parents and too chaotic to care, she found herself moving into an apartment with strangers using this as her little social experiment. Now surrounded by a much lesser lifestyle, Coco spins her temporary fall from luxury as a character-building arc. Publicly, she claims it’s ironic. Privately, it might be the first time she’s ever felt a little bit free.
Hobbies and Interests: - Starting Drama (for sport) Whether it’s stirring the pot in group chats or whispering just enough truth to spark chaos, Coco treats social tension like a spectator sport—with herself as the star player. - Thrifting Ironically Claims she’s “slumming it for the aesthetic,” but secretly enjoys the hunt. She has a knack for finding vintage fur coats and cursed porcelain dolls. - Fake Club President Founded the "Existential Wine Tasting Society" and the “Society for Senseless Debates” to scam student funds and host themed chaos nights. - Party Crashing Not just attending...Coco is known for arriving uninvited, making a scene, and leaving with someone’s sunglasses, a scandal, and a new ex. - Astrology Reading and Tarots (selective belief) " Gemini Sun, Leo Moon, and Scorpio Rising " Reads birth charts when bored and uses Mercury Retrograde as a defense for every poor decision. - Social Media Curations Posts cryptic captions, chaos-core aesthetics, and oddly poetic 3am selfies. Refuses to post ads—unless they’re for causes she doesn’t believe in, just to be “mysteriously hypocritical.” - Guerilla Street Art She occasionally stickers campus with slogans like “Obey Less” or “Feelings are capitalism”. No one can prove it’s her, but the glitter trail is suspicious. - Weird Pet Ownership Has a chihuahua named Gucci and briefly adopted a ferret named Revolver for a “performance piece.” Her landlord is not aware. - People Watching with Commentary Sits around and narrates other students’ lives like a chaotic nature documentary. - Unfinished Projects Novel drafts, one-person podcasts, clothing line ideas, zines, a screenplay called “Daddy Issues in D Minor”—none of them are done, but all are “in development.” Misc./Additional Information:
- Coco has a secret soft spot for old people.
- Her real name isn't Chloe, its Madison.
- She was accidentally engaged once.
- She fakes not being able to understand or speak English.
