"You humans wonder why no one visits, yall are damned scary. You willingly poison yourselves, spread like wildfire, and have been killing each other since you started to pick up rocks....however all that is why we need you crazy murder monkeys..." Meezeeks.
Its 2020 and things have begun to go crazy in more ways than one. All over the world these random anomolies called darkspots keep appearing. Points where the light seems unable to penetrate, along with radar, or any other form of surveillance technology for that matter. When the darkness clears many people are found dead with many ithers seemingly struck with amnesia and unexplainable injuries. Theories range from terrorist attacks to, old gods, but the one being suppressed the most is of course the theory of aliens. Mainly because it is true...earth has now found itself caught in a war between dimensional aliens.
For 1.3 million years our universe has been under seige by beings from another universe called the Shade. An alliance of alien civilizations calling themselves The Order have been keeping them at bay but victory is no where in sight. No matter how quickly or effeciently they have come to secure the area they always appear again somewhere else, the anomalies continue to spread and only one side seems to even feel their loses. Being on the edge of the universe has kept the earth out of this conflict for humanities entire history and development, however now the anomalies have spread to our solar system and with it comes one single ship from the order.
Stealthed above the earth between it and the moon this Ship from the order has but one agent on board. Meezeeks the Igurlion (slugman), and his great strategy is to turn a handful of the primitive murder monkeys that call themselves human and modify them with a variety of alien technologies and genetic manipulations making them able to face the shades in combat. His past failures have caused this to be his last chance in the order before being Salted. However he has lofty ambitions for earth and its human population...for if this primitive people proves able to fight off the shades they also prove themselves the perfect warrior race to bolster the order.
But that all depends on how the prototypes preform...hopefully the other monkeys dont kill them.
(Hiya guys so this rp is gonna be an interesting modern day mix of Action, comedy, and Some sci-fi stuffs. Im looking for a relatively small group of between 4 and 6 players who will be playing The Humnade, who are humans taken by the alien Meezeeks and modified with alien technology to become superhuman. We will be mainly fighting transdimensional alien beings called Shades, all while trying to avoid being captured by governments who are aware of our disappearing and reappearing and want answers...but they ask questions with bullets. Players will have powers but they are expected to be kinda low teir as we are the prototype models. Street level heroes like Wolverine, Spiderman, Luke Cage, Nightwing, Green Arrow, Or Beast boy are good analogues to what we are looking for but i wont really be too picky as long as it isnt too haxy. Regeneration and Superhuman strength/durability is claimed by myself so no picking that power set please. Our characters will know each other at the start of the story at least a little bit because we were all on Meezeeks ship together while being modified and were all dumped in the same spot afterwards...the gulf of Mexico. If you have any questions let me know, ill start the threads when i got at least 4 people.)
