Name: Athena Undyne

Age (Fairy Years): 18

Age (Human Years): 100

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Alignment: Lawful Good

Species: Fairy (Water)

Status: Royalty

Occupation: Princess of Ausque

Appearance: image.

Personality: Athena is a calm and sweet girl, she's often keeping her sister out of trouble and people see her as a benevolent princess. She loves magic and studying to its fullest, being the greatest healer in the kingdom as well as the best spellcaster

Background: She's the youngest since she came out last. Since the moment she was born Athena proved to be a magical prodigy, healing her mother's pain after coming out of her. The queen knew that she would be a great mage one day so she was trained by numerous mages. Because of this Athena excels at healing magic, spellcasting and can use water (liquid, solid and gaseous) magic with ease. She has always supported her sister in everything, even in the battlefield, she keeps her distance and attacks from afar while healing her.

Likes: Magic, Animals, flowers, water, helping others.

Dislikes: People that use magic for evil, Cruelty, Rudeness

Relationships: She's not romantically involved with anyone.

Misc. Things: Her wand belonged to her mother, who gave it to her when she surpassed her in magical expertize.

Name: Artemis Undyne

Age (Fairy Years): 18

Age (Human Years): 100
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Alignment: Neutral Good

Species: Fairy (Water)

Status: Royalty

Occupation: Princess of Ausque

Appearance: Image

Personality: She's a passionated girl, her heart is yearning for adventure so she escapes from time to time to explore the world. Usually dragging her sister too until she talks sense into her and they go back to the castle.

Background: Artemis was always different from her sister, while Athena was reading about the world she would sneak out and explore it herself, making her tutors go mad. The Queen shifted her training after realizing that she was a more active type of learner. This turned her into a wonderful swordmaster, an agile hunter able to domesticate any creature (with some magical help from Athena if its too powerful) and decent magical user of Water (liquid) magic and Air Magic.

Likes: Challenges, Exploring, Defending the weak

Dislikes: Injustice, Unnecessary violence, arrogant people

Relationships: She's not romantically involved with anyone.

Misc. Things: Her sword belonged to her father she usually imbues it in the water element, it can shift into a bow so she can shoot sharp wind slement arrows from it although she doesn't usually has to use it.

These here inside of this spoiler are the species general abilities and aply to all faeries, i know i'm the one with four royal fairies but anyway... i did made them for all of us, so we can have order among fae folk. You're free to copy these abilities if you're making or have a fairy character.

In the other spoilers are my characters unique abilities and those are NOT shared by all fairies, respect that and avoid copying them.

[Passive] Massive Reservoir: Their bodies are able to contain mana more efficiently, quicker and in more quantity. This makes them the perfect magical battery for lesser beings who have always tried to kidnap them to harness their magic. This is why the royal fairies from Ausque united in the first place, forming their own kingdom to protect themselves and the rest of magical races.

[Active] Flight: Fairies have wings on their backs that can hide or show whenever they like, with them they can fly at high speeds with ease.

[Passive] Elemental Affinity: As powerful magical beings with a link to nature, every fairy is born with an affinity towards an element. For regular blooded fairies this is a random factor but in royalty blooded families is inherited from the mother.

[Active] Size Control: They can change their size to shrink to be 10 cm, sacrificing strength to gain stealth. They usually don't use this since they're more vulnerable in that miniature size.

[Passive] Magical Talent: Fairies have it way easier with magic, they can learn it faster, understand it effortlessly and use it in better and in more efficient ways than most. This however does not imply that all fairies are expert mages since not all of them choose to study magic in the first place. As any type of talent, one must put the effort to perfect it.

[Royal] Magical Trait: Royal blooded fairies are born with a hidden latent trait inherited from their mothers that activates itself under diverse circumstances during the fairy's life. For the Nyx & Lux families that trait is "Celestial" and they activate it through hard training. The Undyne family? Oh that's surprise for now, be patient.

[Passive] Magical Radar: They can feel magic itself, as well as being able to identify the magical signature that people leave on their spells and themselves, something that even fae folk can't hide.

[Weakness] Iron: All fairies are physically weak to pure unprocessed iron, it burns their flesh and causes them agonizing pain if it directly touches their skin. Touching it with gloves or any other kind of protection is safe.

[Weakness] Physically Delicate: They are quite beautiful and dazzling, fairies can easily seduce whoever they want. But as their pretty faces suggest, they're not the physical type of fighters. Since their racial abilities focus on magic their physical offensives lack the proper raw strength, having to rely on magic, speed and agility rather than force.

[Passive] Mystic Prodigy: The ability to cast spells of any kind more faster and with greater power than other fairies.

[Active] Spellcasting (Master): Is the magical ability to affect reality with magical incantations and enchantments. Athena is so advanced at this that doesn't need to use ancient languages to achieve the effects, she only needs to make her sentences rhyme.

[Affinity] Water Magic (Master): She can control and summon water in any of its three states: water (liquid), ice (solid) and steam (gaseous) and quickly shift it from one state to the another.

[Affinity] Healing Magic (Master): Although she can't resurrect anyone she can heal people back from the edge of death, as long as they are still alive she can heal them. Along with her spellcasting there's not much she can't cure, except for terminal natural illnesses in advanced stages.

[Active] Telekinesis [Advanced]: The magical power to move things (and people) with the mind, since she hasn't completely mastered it she still needs to make physical expressions of some kind to fully focus it and maintain it.

[Equipment] Titania's Wand: The wand gifted to her by her mother when she finished her magical studies. It's made from a branch of an ancient tree from Ausque said to be the first tree to have ever grown in the world, and it only has permited one person in all of history to take one of its branches, the first Queen of Ausque: Titania Undyne. Since then the Undynes have passed down the wand to the best magical user in the royal family for generations. This indestructible wand gives a big boost to any kind of magic that the user performs while wielding it, especially spells. Also it has some kind of consciousness because it only works for Athena now that she owns it.

[Weakness] Physically Useless: Even though she's a powerful magical user, Athena can't grab a sword and fight like Artemis as it's not in her nature and has never trained for it. This along with her racial inherent lack for physical strength is why she chooses to attack from a long distance and keeps her enemies as far as possible.

[Passive] Magical Stamina: Since she doesn't really uses her magical reservoir as much, the mana in her body searchs other ways to come out. After all of her physical training her mana now empowers her with stamina, allowing her to fight harder and stronger than regular fairies. She's the only fairy that has ever tried to surpass the species physical weakness and achieved it.

[Affinity] Water Magic (Average): Unlike her twin sister, Artemis can only control and summon the water element on its liquid form.

[Affinity] Air Magic (Advanced): She can control and summon wind ir order to attack or defend herself. Also improving her speed with it and being able to cut with precise wind attacks.

[Passive] Magical Tamer: She's a great hunter in the sense of tracking, stealth, trap setting and quick reflexes but she doesn't kills her pray. She domesticates all of the animals and magical creatutes that she hunts, is a magical talent that allows her to understand them without words and calming them enough to form a magical permanent bond with them.

[Active] Magical Fighting Arts [Master]: The ability to use magic by imbuing it the weapon, fists and legs to improve the physical strength of her attacks. She invented this technique herself along with Diana because she didn't liked to fight from afar, she wanted action hand to hand & sword against sword. They teached it to the royal guard and knights so they could be prepared to protect Ausque better.

[Equipment] Oberon's Weapon: The husband of the first Queen of Ausque made a weapon from a fruit of the ancient tree of Ausque that was in the branch that the tree gave to his wife. This magnificent indestructible fruit could shift into any weapon that the user needs (A sword, bow, axe, spear, etcetera.). Since fairies can't usually fight with those weapons it was a symbolic treasure passed down to the Queen's husband for generations. When Artemis developed a fighting technique that even improved the force of the royal guard and knights, her mother gave her the sword, that belonged last to her deceased husband, and started a new tradition to honor her. From now on the weapon will be passed down to the best physical fighter on the Royal family. Also it has some kind of consciousness because it only works for Artemis now that she owns it.

[Weakness] Close range fighter: She doesn't have the lack of physical strength that the rest of her race have, but has gained another. Focusing on close combat means being vulnerable to long range casters if she can't close distance between her and them since her bow techniques aren't meant for long lasting battles.

[Weakness] Low magical expertise: Although she uses magic in her physical fighting stile, this is a raw instinctive unrefined way to use magic. Meaning that she lacks a proper magical education, even if it's by choice it's still a weak spot.

Rosaline Miriam Baltimore

157c7434-8b6d-4a95-b1b1-5d41af63bade.jpeg

Age: 20
Sexuality: Lesbian
Alignment: Neutral Good
Species: Human
Status: Royalty
Occupation: Princess "Rosemary: The Compromiser" of Baltimore
Appearance:
Rosaline stands at about 5 feet, 4 inches tall. So she is not short but not quite average either. She is very slender in shape and doesn't have too much curve about her. She has all the poise and elegance you would expect of a Princess. You will never find her with her head hung low or her shoulders slumped; that is simply not the way she was raised. (However you will notice her gaze wanders.) Rosie is quite pale, seeing that she was a frail child, and her pale skin contrasts her very dark brown tresses. Her eyes are a piercing, icy blue, which again, sets her apart from other girls. Everything about Rosaline is the epitome of Grace and Beauty.
Personality:
Rosaline, or Rosie has her family and close friends call her, is not one for talking much. Mainly because she is deaf, but also because she very shy and likes to keep to herself. If it weren't for her father and sisters she probably would never leave the castle. She is perfectly content staying at home and painting all day. Although it is hard to get her to open up, she has a very kind soul and is very caring towards the people she is close with. You will never find anymore more loyal and trustworthy then Rosaline. If she knew how to fight, she'd be the one you'd go to to help you set someone straight. Rosaline finds socializing difficult. (And not just because she has to have a translator) She doesn't like big crowds and prefers solitude, thus making it difficult to her to maintain eye contact with others. It is the one thing she was always scolded for as a child.
Background:
Princess Rosaline Baltimore is the youngest daughter of King Alexander Baltimore and third in line for the throne. She grew up as any Princess would with many lessons on etiquette, government, and other such things that are important for any would be monarch. However Rosaline was different than most of the Princesses her age. When Rosie was very young, barely even into her third year, she was struck by a great illness that to this day, no one knows the origin of. High fevers, awful coughing fits, and fainting spells plagued the young girl for months until the fever finally broke and she recovered; only by the skin of her teeth though, as she lost her hearing once everything was said and done. Because she lost her hearing so young, she never truly missed it, and to this day can't remember what it was like to have it. However it became apparent very quickly as the young Princess grew up, that writing down everything she wanted to say was not sufficient. So, Rosaline, her family, and the palace staff begun learning sign language to better the communication within the castle. It was then that the King realized that Rosie would need a translator too. And thus began the nearly 10 year long process of finding a translator that Rosie couldn't scare off. So far her current translator, Molly, has lasted two years. (Much longer than the previous one month, and the one before that, that didn't even last a week). Rosie has yet to drive Molly away, weather that be a testament to Molly's patience or her stupidity we may never know.

Rosaline never expected to be Queen of her lands. Being that she was third in line, she knew once her eldest sister had children they would come before her in the line of succession, and then her second sister's children would come after that. So Rosie always assumed it would never be her responsibility. Sure she would be a figurehead and role model to her people, but she never dreamed she'd ever have any sort of say in what happened to her kingdom. That has all changed since her father has fallen ill. Neither her sisters, nor Rosaline have been married and thus none of them have children. And with the threat of the darkness it is seeming more and more like Rosaline may have a duty to her kingdom to do...something. The thought frightens her. She simply doesn't think she is cut out for that kind of responsibility. Not only that but she is disabled. Who in their right mind would want a disabled monarch? And don't even get her started on her sisters. Rosie isn't called "The Compromiser" for no reason. Because her sisters are "The Thinker" and "The Warrior", they tend to but heads quite a lot, and it always seems to be Rosie who defuses any disagreements. She loves her sisters dearly but if they could keep her out of their arguments that would be very much appreciated thank you.

Rosie always knew she was different from other girls. From a young age, her ladies and waiting all would talk about boys within the court and who was the most handsome, and they would fantasize about some knight in shining armor coming to whisk them off their feet. But Rosaline was never really interested in those court boys. And the only Knight she really knew was Sir Tribius and he was grey and kind grouchy so she definitely didn't want one of those coming to her rescue. However, it wasn't until Rosie begun her bleeding that she understood why, she didn't find the court boys very interesting. There was a young maid, couldn't have been much older than Rosaline herself, and she was beautiful. She had long, curly red hair and gorgeous green eyes. When she smiled, the entire room light up, and Rosie felt like she was on cloud nine whenever they were together. Her name was Gwendolyn. Rosaline and Gwendolyn became very close, much closer than you would expect a Princess to be with her maid. When Gwendolyn was done with her chores, she'd visit Rosie in her art studio and they'd sit for hours just talking about anything and everything. Rosie would sometimes sneak out of the castle and accompany Gwen into the local village to pick up supplies. Rosie was in love, and such as young love goes, things completely blew up in her face. One day, while in the studio, Rosaline had given Gwendolyn a painting. It was a beautiful portrait of the maid, and it seemed Gwendolyn was ever so grateful. But when Rosie leaned in to steal a kiss from the girl, Gwendolyn recoiled in fear. The whole time, Gwendolyn had only seen Rosaline as a friend. Gwendolyn soon left the castle and found work elsewhere, and Rosie never saw her again. The heartbreak was terrible. Rosie had never felt so stupid, alone, and absolutely devastated. And it was then that Rosie realized that she was very, very different, and couldn't let anyone know her secret. She still has the painting though, and keeps it tucked away in her studio where no one will ever find it.
Any Ability:
TBD
Likes:
Painting, Horses, Flowers, Fiction Stories, Being Alone, Girls
Dislikes:
Large Crowds, Parties, Rain, Her Translator, Overly Confident People, Most Men
Relationships:
TBD
Misc. Things:
Rosie took up painting and drawing at a young age and became quite good at it. She keeps sketch books on her person at all times in case she has any ideas or sees something that she might want to paint later. Her favored mediums are water color and oil paintings, and you will most often find her painting landscapes and portraits.

Lyle James Evergreen

cf049e0ae10e01a83912a318c0208744.jpg

Age: 24
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Species: Human Caster
Status: Royalty
Occupation: Prince of the Everglades
Appearance:
Lyle stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and is quite slender despite his years of training with the knights and guards. His features are very sharp and almost gaunt looking; with very pale skin and grey blue eyes, Lyle stands out in any crowd. His hair is a natural white blonde and he likes to keep it neat and slicked back. Lyle is a man of fine tastes and prefers to dress his best every single day. It is not often you will find him in simple wool or linen. (Unless of course he is training or in battle) Lyle loves to splurge and show off his kingdom's wealth with fine clothes and jewelry.
Personality:
Lyle's personality has two sides. There's the side he shows the world; his cocky, arrogant, and playboy type attitude and his down to earth, caring, and stoic attitude. Lyle doesn't like to show weakness to his subjects or outsiders. He wants everyone to know that his kingdom is not to be trifled with and that he can and will stop anyone who threatens his people. But behind closed doors and with the few he is close with, Lyle is a very kindhearted man. He cares far more about his family than he does himself, and he would put himself at risk just to see them happy and healthy. He has a bad reputation in court because he's a bit of a flirt but Lyle simply wants to find someone who will match him perfectly. He is to be King some day and he needs a woman by his side who will challenge him and strive to greatness just like he does.
Background:
Prince Lyle James Evergreen is the only son to King James and Queen Liliana, and heir to the Everglades throne. From a young age, the boy was groomed to become the perfect king. Lessons everyday on government and swordsmanship, along with diplomacy and the way around a tricky conversation. Lyle was the perfect student as well. He had a thirst for knowledge and loved when his tutors gave him especially challenging tasks. Even if he couldn't figure it out right away, Lyle always found away to solve the problem. (Even if it wasn't how the instructor had anticipated) Everyone knew that the young prince would grow to become a great king, just like his father before him. However as Lyle grew older, his attention began to wander. He began to take notice in the young ladies of the court and quickly became popular among them. (When you're handsome and the heir to the throne, you'll have that effect on people) Lyle's antics with women worried the King and Queen. They knew their son to be a kindhearted individual but the rumors they heard from courtesans did not reflect the boy they knew and loved. But Lyle's studies never faltered and he continued to excel in his academics and training so the King and Queen let the worry fade to the back of their mind. (They would later regret that decision as the rumors did not seem to go away, but only get stronger and louder)

Lyle was never one to care about what others thought. Not to sound arrogant, but he knew that he had a greater purpose in life. Being an heir to the throne of a mighty kingdom was nothing to scoff at. He had a great responsibility not only to himself, but to his kingdom to be a good ruler. At first the thought would frighten him. All of that power and responsibility, Lyle didn't think he could handle it. But as he grew older and continued to learn from his tutors and his father, he became more confident in himself. (One might say too confident.) All in all, Lyle is a man with good intentions and a fire in his soul. (He could work on social ques though)
Any Ability:
Lyle is able to cast very simple magics. He is talented enough with potions and can recite a few incantations here and there but he is not nearly as gifted as his mother is. It is said that all the women in his mother's line were extremely talented sorceresses, however it is known that the gene does not pass well to male offspring. Lyle had always hoped for a younger sister so that one day, his mother's gifts may be passed on to her but it seems it is too late for such things.
Likes:
Learning, Magic, Training, Dogs, Parties, Girls
Dislikes:
Lairs, Chocolate, Rain, The color yellow, People who threaten his family or kingdom
Relationships:
TBD
Misc. Things:
Lyle owns many dogs. Whether the Greyhounds that accompany him on hunts or the mastiffs he keeps for protection, Lyle very much enjoys the company of the animals. A few of his favorites include Whitefoot, Holdfast, Sturdy, and Hardy.

Sir Tribius Von Ulric

The Man
Age: 42

Sexuality: Straight

Alignment: Lawful Good

Personality: Tribius' personality is extremely extroverted, forged primarily by his father through childhood who was also a Knight. Tribius' father was a difficult man to please, but to this day Tribius would say his Father was the greatest man he ever knew. Through the influence of his Father, Tribius became somewhat of a perfectionist. "When fighting," his Father used to say. "You are either the best at what you do, or you are dead. It's that simple." Those words from his Father stuck with Tribius throughout his life and is a golden rule he lives by. Tribius is a stickler for details. Often he berates Knights under his charge for "poor posture" or "ignoring the fundamentals." While this may come across to some as him being a jerk, those that know him knows he only wants the best for those he criticizes and corrects. He wants his Knights to be the very best, and they respect him for it. Tribius is very outspoken and does not shy away from informing someone when they are wrong. Sometimes this can cause Tribius to come across and conceded or rude, but Tribius is emotionally deaf to the feelings of others and is genuinely surprised, sometimes confused, when he learns he offended someone. Social cues that would normally tell people when they've spoken too much or when they have offended someone goes right over the top of Tribius' head. In the presence the King, the Princesses, civilians, or in the presence of his family, Tribius is a much softer individual. this is when the true "humble" and "servant" side of Tribius comes to life. Tribius' wife, Dorothy, often finds it exhausting bringing Tribius to a marketplace as she often finds him leaving her to help someone else with their belongings or helping a vendor fix the broken axil on his wagon. Although Tribius has an extensive combat history, these small actions are what make him a hero to his community.

Goals: Tribius' goals are that which are aligned with the Knight's Code and Oath of Service.

Background: Tribius was born and raised among the nobility of Baltimore. His Father a Knight, and his Mother a seller of fine fabrics. When Tribius was 8 years old he volunteered to begin undergoing the training to become a Knight. While most children were drafted, Tribius volunteered. At 15, Tribius received news that his Father had been critically wounded while raiding the hideout of a Thieves Guild. A poisoned knife was stuck in his back, and Tribius' Father died a day after. Following his Father's death, Tribius found a renewed vigilance within himself and rededicated his life to the Order and the country. Tribius would train every day and upon reaching adulthood, joined the Order on the front lines fighting the wretched Naga.

In his late 20's, Tribius caught the eye of a young Noble named Dorothy. The Knights had been dispatched to arrest a contingent of mercenaries that were terrorizing Baltimore's outer villages. One week later, the horns blared signaling the return of the Knights from their mission. It was an exciting time for the city. The main road connecting the city always erupted in song and celebrations, honoring Baltimore's heroes. Upon the sound of the horn, Dorothy and her friends eagerly perched up on a balcony overlooking the palace. That is when Tribius and Dorothy saw each other for the first time. Per the usual custom, Dorothy and the other nobles rained flowers and pedals down upon the Knights as they strode up the palace steps with the leader of the mercenaries in chains. Tribius plucked one of the flowers from the sky, smiled, and gave a curt nod to Dorothy. Tribius would soon after begin courting Dorothy and a year later, they were married. Together they had a daughter named Ashlyn who is now 13 years old. For the past decade Tribius and Dorothy have tried to bear a son, with no success. The strong chemistry between Tribius and Dorothy makes them a textbook couple.

Family:
Dorothy (Wife)

Ashlyn (Daughter)

Sarah (Mother)

Sir Tribius Von-Ulric, now a middle aged man, is a renowned and well decorated Knight of the “King's Order” of Baltimore. A firm believer in chivalry, knightly customs, and law and order. Born into a family of honored public servants and his father being a Knight himself, destiny seemed to have already paved Tribius’ path. He rose through ranks early in his career and earned the favor of the then new King for his heroic actions in the face of the Naga. Refusing to retreat or back down, and willing to die for his King and country, the King made the simple choice to appoint Tribius his personal advisor in all things military. He quickly evolved in that position as his advisor to the kingdom as a whole. The King was still young and looked up to him as a mentor and brother of sorts. Some even would joke that Tribius was the Kingdom’s King, considering the influence he had over the King, although he would vehemently deny such a statement. At his core, Tribius is a humble servant that loves his Country and his people. Tribius stands at a towering 6'7, is extremely toned and muscular, and weighs just over 320 pounds in full armor.

Abilities

Iron-Stance (Mastery): A basic ability that is easy to learn and difficult to master. The Knight’s feet are like roots into the earth. Their bodies like a stallion. A defensive stance that increases the Knight’s overall fortitude and pain tolerance.

Perception of the Eagle: A Knight’s perception and sensitivity to sound is heightened in combat, allowing for faster reaction to danger.

Swordplay of the Iron Gladiator (Mastery): The Iron Gladiator is part legend, part history. A Knight of Baltimore in an early age. Legends tell of an immortal sent from Valhalla to rid the world of inferior warriors. History reveals he was merely a Knight of the King's court who never lost a fight in the coliseum. With Mastery, the Knight can overcome any single foe in a duel of swords. There is no strike or combination of strikes that will catch the Knight off-guard. Better keep your distance!

Last Stand of Baltimore: Back in the early ages in the 1st Dark Rising, Baltimore fell, briefly, to a Witch and her dark forces. Baltimore, her Queen, Princesses, and her citizens were forced to retreat back into the palace with only a handful of surviving Knights to defend them. Despite overwhelming odds, the Knights kept the Witch’s forces at bay through 3 days of the nonstop assault. Eventually, Baltimore received reinforcements and they were able to press the Witch’s forces back and out of their lands. Afterward, in a dream, the Queen of that time was visited by a god who praised Baltimore and her valiant warriors. The god granted the Queen, and all Queens and Kings to follow her, to the ability to bless Knights with new power. In any situation in which the Knight finds him or herself in a hopeless or dire situation, the Knight will receive otherworldly strength, stamina, and fortitude to keep fighting. This doesn’t grant them invincibility, but a temporary boost to potentially save themselves.

Tribius' Warsong: A vocal legend and motivator for his fellow Knights. His Warsong is a boon to his allies and a nightmare to his enemies

Tribius' Warsong

Weaknesses:

Middle Aged: Tribius is a tall, broad, and strong individual, but he doesn’t have the Stamina he used to.

Range: Tribius has no ranged combat capability. When he fights, it must be up close and personal.

By the Book: Bound by his honor as a Knight, Tribius will not take part in any action that is unlawful or distasteful and will actively try to prevent others from doing so.

Curse of the Naga: Roughly 15 years ago, when Tribius was still on the front lines fighting the wretched Naga, he had a mission to raid a beachhead where a Naga sorceress was attempting to raise the sea level and submerge Baltimore. Before Tribius could strike her down, the Naga sorceress inflicted a nasty curse on Tribius that no magician or healer can identify. Tribius is unable to get a good nights’ sleep. Every night since that battle, Tribius has the same nightmare of an army of Naga overrunning Baltimore and killing the Princesses. No matter what he does, he can never save them in the dream. The King’s sorcerers believe that if Tribius can one day figure out how to save the Princesses in the dream, then the curse will be lifted.

Equipment:

Black Iron Longsword: A virtually unbreakable longsword passed down to Tribius by his Father. Heavier and longer than an average longsword.

Armor of the Baltimore Veteran: A rare set of full-body Cobalt/Steel armor reserved only for Baltimore’s highly decorated Knights. The suit itself is lighter than the standard steel plate armor but nearly two times as hard. If your enemy is wearing this armor, you’d better aim for the head!

Shield of Alexandria (Enchanted): A Black Iron shield, longer and heavier than a normal shield and nearly twice as thick. The King had it custom made and gifted to Tribius on the day of his reinstatement. A very faint hum can be heard when one is close to the shield and it emits a dull blue light in the darkness. The King spent hours in prayer and meditation over the shield and blessed it. While unsure what exactly the shield was blessed with, the King could tell Tribius that the blessing would come in handy when he needed it most.

The King

Alexander Baltimore is 41 years old and has ruled over Baltimore for two decades. His reign was greatly welcomed after a long period without an ordained King in which a court-appointed ruler was necessary. A greatly spiritual man who had been touched by the spirits at birth. It was well known several years before his reign that he had been chosen by the gods to rule and he stepped into the position quite naturally. When the King entered his 40's, Tribius was already 41 and had fallen well out of his prime. Although still a remarkably strong individual, age was beginning to catch up with him. After a well-fought and lengthy battle in yet another Naga ground war, the King made the decision to remove Tribius from the battlefield and bestow upon him a position in his court as military and political advisor. Tribius would still train and teach his Knights, but his days on the battlefield would be over. Tribius became the rock that Alexander needed in the complicated world of politics and conflict. At his side, Tribius’ presence commanded great respect and no one dared disrespect the King or his daughters for fear of Tribius’ wrath. He trusted him with his life and found comfort in his presence. But as months passed, the King could see Tribius getting restless and yearning for the glory of battle. A disease was slowly beginning to kill him and the Darkness was beginning to rise once more. Desiring a peaceful world for his daughters, the King decided to put Tribius back out onto the battlefield to help make the world safe once more.

Government:

The King plays a significant role in Baltimore culture. A spiritual man who is attuned to otherworldly forces that do not identify themselves. These forces grant the King with visions and abilities. Sometimes these visions are unclear and left open to be interpreted by him alone. A leather-bound book has been passed by Queens and Kings throughout time. Inside is knowledge and power that is only meant to be known by the royalty and would break the mind of those who are not worthy. The King often spends hours, sometimes days, in meditation and/or fasting.
The Governmental system of Baltimore is that of a Constitutional Monarchy. The King holds absolute authority, so long as he rules within the confines of the Constitution established and amended by the Court of Representatives. The Court of Representatives are a body of elected officials that represent the needs of citizens to the King. They draft, approve, and amend bills which are signed into law by the Monarch. If the Monarch does not sign the bill, then it does not become law. The Monarch retains the authority to remove, amend, or add laws without the approval from the Court of Representatives, but aside from extraordinary circumstances this has never occurred. As a rule, the monarch has always respected the wishes of his or her people, spoken through their Representatives.
The King also presides over the Supreme Court and rules on the most egregious crimes. There are several lower courts that handle minor and moderate offenses.

The Naga:

A sentient species of sea serpent that live deep within the ocean. They speak in a language only they understand and have chosen to isolate themselves from the world. For reasons unknown, they grew hostile to the humans of the coastal city of Baltimore and began raiding the small villages outside of the city. They were merciless brutes and killed without prejudice, including women and children. Eventually, the Queen of Baltimore during the 2nd age would declare war on the Naga and the rest is history.
Although the Naga have never attained a single strategical victory, their ability to live and thrive beneath the ocean protects them from Baltimore’s forces. This allows them to send endless waves of armies to the surface to attack and never needing to defend. Attempts have been made throughout history to negotiate peace with the Naga, but they are either unwilling or unable to engage in communication.
Their violent nature makes it seem like they are unintelligent, but many Naga have the ability to manipulate the elements against their foes. This has confused some of Baltimore’s brightest scholars for centuries. As it stands today, the Naga is still an active but low-level threat. Although they are great in numbers, they are physically and mentally inferior to Baltimore’s Knights and Mages respectively.

Sir Morien
Screen Shot 2020-05-17 at 1.09.42 PM.pngScreen Shot 2020-05-17 at 6.34.35 PM.png
Name: Morien Agrovale

Age: 25

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Species: Human (Non-magical)

Status: Son of a Noblewoman who father was a Pendragon Knight (High-middle class)

Occupation: Pendragon Knight.

Appearance: From the Arthurian Saga of Morien:
"He was all black, even as I tell ye: his head, his body, and his hands were all black, saving only his teeth. His shield and his armour were even those of a Moor, and black as a raven… had they not heard him call upon God no man had dared face him, deeming that he was the devil or one of his fellows out of hell, for that his steed was so great, and he was taller even than Sir Lancelot."

With distinguishing features like his dark skin (which is unique in the knighthood), imposing height of closer to 7 ft than 6, and steely eyes that would stop anyone in their tracks, Morien strikes an imposing figure. However, he is free of any battle scars save for one along his brow from a small attack from bandits he ran into on his travel to Pendragon. He does not have the weathered skin of a knight that has travelled on many conquests. He is a young one within his league, and no one can judge him in another way. Because he has been trained since a child to be a part of the knighthood of Pendragon, he has become a fighting machine, and needless to say, it shows. He has dark eyes and keeps his hair cut short for convenience. His body is well built. However, he lacks as much as he has (mentioned in abilities)

Personality:
Morien is the face of loyalty within the Pendragon Knighthood. He would follow Prince Arthur (and King Harold) to the end of the world, laying down his life for the monarchy. He is a careful fellow who is easily suspicious of strangers and new acquaintances. However, he has a good heart saved for the people he loves and cares for. However, due to his privileged background, he can be egotistical and apathetic to the people he doesn't see like common villagers. Although chivalrous, like most knights he does not go out of his way to take care of those in villages and lower people, as his main priority is to protect the royalty that has become his new family.
He possesses a knack for pulling pranks and having a good charismatic sense of humor, which is able to land him the good attention of lord's daughters around the kingdom. However, he hardly ever opens himself up save for with his band of knights and the Prince himself, so he hasn't had much interest in courting yet.
Although he is loyal and devoted to the royalty of the kingdom, he oftentimes thinks about his mother and his younger sister he has yet to meet (though seldom his stepfather, who he has not yet either-explained in backstory), but hasn't wanted to visit the kingdom of his mother's since he had made a home in Pendragon

Background: Sir Agrovale, his father, one of the Knights of King Harold, had set out to look for another knight when he became lost. During his search in far-off lands, he came across a duchess of another kingdom whom be bedded. From this union, Sir Morien was later born. Agrovale abandoned the Moorish princess and his illegitimate son and returned back to King Arthur’s court. When Morien grew up, he set out to seek his father and reached the Pendragon kingdom where he has found that his father had died during an attack on the knights. Soon after he had proven his relations with the former knight, he was able to become a part of the knighthood. Once he came to the Pendragon Kingdom, he never left. He had gotten word from his mother that she had married and had bore a daughter of a lord, and he was happy that his new sibling did not have to have the label of being an illegitimate child like he was. Now, he has the mindset of forever serving Arthur's future kingdom.

Any Ability: Sir Morien's "blows were so mighty; did a spear fly towards him, to harm him, it troubled him no whit, but he smote it in twain as if it were a reed; naught might endure before him."
As mentioned in his appearance, he is a well buiit individual whose surprising melanin and height intimidates many in battles, which makes him have an advantage on most surprise attacks. However, although he is imposing and strong, his stance, balance, and ability to stand his ground is not as good as the other more aged knights of the Round Table. He is instead known for being one of the agile and quick ones, while still possessing a strong arm when it comes down to it, but these flaws still make him more flawed when surrounded by many instead of one on one. With time, comes a greater endurance and ability to stand his ground, and he continues to try and work on his ability to do this daily.

Likes/Dislikes: He loves going on side quests with his knights when he goes hunting with the Prince, he likes to pull pranks within the group of the Knights, and likes eating and drinking. He doesn't like too much of a spotlight on himself, and although he can come off as egotistical, he doesn't seek any extra attention.

Prince Arthur

Screen Shot 2020-05-22 at 1.33.55 PM.pngAt his age of 24, he still just a prince, the heir of the Pendragon kingdom, and the hope for his people to be more united with all creatures, magic and non-magic. Many believe that he will be the one to unite the lands that have magical folk, as his father is more prejudiced.
He has tan skin, dark kind eyes, brown hair that are wavy locks, tall and strong build. With his broad-shouldered broad nosed figure and a short shave, he is considered the picture perfect image of the kingdom, and very handsome. Usually wears rich solid colored clothing, and clad in full armor and a sword when on quests, hunts, and training. Just as any royalty, he has as many virtues as flaws. Screen Shot 2020-05-22 at 1.34.33 PM.pngAlthough he is unwaveringly courageous, he can be brave to the point of not being the smartest when being strategic with attacks. He is arrogant and unaware of life without privilege, and this can make him a bit of a brat when he isn't in the castle or around his knights of nobility.
His father who has great expectations for Arthur that rises his confidence up but also puts more weight on his shoulders. There's a toxic masculinity within the castle walls that was also created because of his strict and unwavering father, and he is the person who gets the worst of it. On the inside, however, he cares deeply for his people and holds a deep responsibility for them, despite his young age. His father who has great expectations for Arthur that rises his confidence up but also puts more weight on his shoulders.

Merle
Name: Merle (no surname,Gaius' Chambers.jpeg
as she isn't royal blood)

Age: 23

Sexuality: Unknown

Alignment: Neutral Good

Species: Human Sorceress

Status: Daughter of a middle-class, respected medic.
Occupation: Court Physician's Apprentice of the Pendragons

Appearance: Her skin is the color of tea with milk, as she did not have the luxury of a noble of staying inside most of the time. Her cheeks and nose are adorned with freckles, and her eyes are doe-like and dark brown. Her distinguishing features are her high cheekbones and sharp chin and jawline. At 5'3, she is surprisingly short for a medical worker at this time. She has loose black curls which she keeps short and puts up in an elegant braid or braided bun when she is working.
She typically wears long dark but rich colored robes and cloaks. Wears leather boots for picking specific herbs for her remedies and medication for the royal Pendragon's.

Personality: Merle is a selfless and deeply caring person. She has become a mother-like figure to Prince Arthur, even though she is only a few years older, she has known him since she was very little because her father's collaborated work with the Court physician, who she is not the apprentice of. However, her work can make her to stress out about things and the people she tends to, though she tries hard not to show it on the job.
She is a vulnerable but pure-hearted person. This can make her hard to be rough around, and she is easily hurt by things. She is always and continuously curious about everything around her, especially magical folk which she sadly does not see much of because of Pendragon's strict policy of no magical beings allowed within the Kingdom's territory. This can get her into more trouble than she intends: oftentimes she feels impulsive enough to talk to anyone at all if she's intrigued with them, regardless of whether she knows them or not. She herself being a person of magic must hide her own gift within the kingdom and even those closest around her. She can be described as eccentric in the way she goes about things, but maybe it's because she's lonely.
She is not afraid of being outspoken, and this may one day be her downfall. Her inner ire is always burning about something or another.
However, she feels connected to the village outside the gates of the castle and within the castle walls, so she is not completely alone. Although she is thoughtful in the sense that she empathizes with those who are misunderstood, she is extremely sensitive when it comes to her's and other's feelings, and tends to overthink a lot about small things. This can make her hard to joke around with, hard to be rough with, and she easily falls apart. She doesn't have a discernible sense of humor and takes most things literally.
She’s smart enough, but only from her past hard work. She is overtly jealous of those in other kingdoms that can use their gifts without having to hide who they are, but she knows her duty is in the Pendragon kingdom with their royalty, and so she stays. She often feels like she isn't good enough, though she never shares these thoughts with anyone unless they have become very close to her. She usually wishes everyone well and wants the best for those who don't have it, and always tries to help those who need it.

Background: Merle was born to a mother that left soon after the child's birth, and as did her secret of being a human sorceress. Her father was devastated, but understood the reason why she left, and why he could not. He knew of her secret, and feared in a kingdom as this one what would become of his newborn daughter. He feared she would be born of magic. And he was right. As a child, she was chaotic and did things that could not be explained logically - her toys would magically appear in her cradle from the shelves above, food would leave the table and get into her hands, and other small things made him extremely cautious. As soon as she was able to comprehend things, she was taught to hide her abilities in order to blend in, and to never show what she really was.
As a child and teenager, she was busy alongside her father helping villagers and nobles alike in need, working as his medical assistant, he being a loyal and devoted public and royal servant, using his medical knowledge to help the kingdom and support his daughter and himself.
That was until Shera, her father's good friend, took notice of her gifts when her father brought her along on a collaborative task within the castle walls. She figured out that she was of magic, and requested he make an appearance with her at the Court. The King at this time became impressed of her seemingly simple (but as an act to impress royalty of her medicinal skills, enchanted her draught with a healing spell) draught that helped the King become energized and able to walk properly again after a small leg injury he had since the previous war. She was appointed as a Court's Physician's apprentice, and the rest is history.

Any Ability: Her magical abilities are mediocre, as she has not been able to practice them properly because of the kingdom's strict no magic policy. Anyone who is caught doing magic will be publicly executed by the King Harold, and in order to protect herself and her family, she never uses it on the job when other villagers or courtiers are near. The only time she practices is in the comfort of her own room, which is a small room attached to the court physician's work room and bedroom (as she now gets to live within the castle walls-even though it is at the east tower where the servants are-she couldn't be more excited). The court physician, an old healer by the name of Shera, is also a magical being, and gave her a small spellbook as a gift when she first came to live with her.

Likes/Dislikes: She loves being out in the open air, beyond the castle walls and even beyond the village.
Broceliande-path.jpg
Within the forest is where she feels the most at home. Luckily, being just a humble apprentice, she gets to do a lot of the dirty work, and she is often tasked to pick special herbs in the outlying forest that is next to the castle and the village surrounding it. She dislikes lying, and how she is lying to the people she cares for as she has to continuously hide her gifts from them and pretend to shun the ones that are punished severely for them. She doesn't like people being bullied, shunned, or vulnerable because of the stringent kingdom.

Relationships:
Father - Her father is someone she loves and protects. There relationship is a good one, and although he may have been a little emotionally available with her mother dying after her birth, he still manages to be able to express how proud he is of her rising up in the ranks as a physician.

Mother - (Deceased) She does not remember her mother, only that she was the one that passed the magic gene on to her. She has mixed feeling towards her, as she has no idea where she is, if she's still alive, and secretly still resentful that she left them.

Shera - Her main mentor and someone who has become the mother she never had to her. Besides her own father, she is the only one who knows of her magic and is as devoted as her own father of keeping her abilities hidden.

Prince Arthur - She is surprisingly close to the Prince because they have known each other since they were small, as her father being the Court physician's friend often visited the palace for the task of collaborating special healing serums and other potions that Merle did not yet know at the time. By the time she became an apprentice a few years back, the Prince was used to her presence and they have mutual respect for each other as platonic friends.

Misc. Things: She has the respect of the knights, as along with her master Shera, brings remedies to them for injuries and energy alike.

Sexuality: Asexual

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

Species: Celestial Fairy (Darkness)

Status: Royalty

Occupation: Royal Darkness Squire.

Appearance: Image.

Personality: She's a serius girl, her magical expertise is a sign of this. Minerva has an iron will from years of rigorous training to harness the power of darkness without any side effects to her sanity or getting corrupted. Discipline is a quality she values above anything else. She needs to learn how to have fun more often. For her all knowledge is good knowledge, those who can't appreciate darkness just because they fear it are pathetic to her since she learned to wistand its effects as a child.

Background: The Nyx family has served to the royal family since the beginning, they were regular dark fairies that started a rigorous training to slay demons and absorb their power. This made them celestial fairies of the demonic variety and earned them a special title as the Royal Demonic Knight, Minerva's training started whe she was barely a child so she could control those dark urges and access to her demonic form with ease, because of this she's more mature than other fairies of her age and became Athena's best friend. As a celestial fairy of darkness she's a powerful witch that has the power to use forbidden spells and use dark raw energy to form complex constructs, shields and shoot it to cause great destruction. She's an expert necromancer, a powerful illusionist and can also make deadly potions.

[Passive] Impervious Will: Minerva has trained her entire life to resist the corruption of darkness and as a result her will is unbreakable. Aside from being inmune to darkness's side effects she's also inmune to seduction, hypnotism, compulsion, illusions and side effects of forbidden spells (Which the queen has authorized her family to use).

[Affinity] Dark Magic [Master]: She can use dark magical energy to create complex constructs, defend her allies or blast her enemies. This also allows her to cast all types of forbidden spells, that would otherwise make her evil or crazy.

[Affinity] Necromancy [Advanced]: She can summon skeletons, zombies and bones to fight for her, perform medium sessions and rise the dead to do her bidding.

[Active] Potion Brewing [Advanced]: She has studied the art to mix ingredients to make a magical substance. However she is a specialist on vanquishing potions, a branch of potion brewing focused on annihilation. She needs blood or flesh of the being or person in order to make it work.

[Trait] Celestial (Demon): She can transform into a demonic being, she gets a more mature appearance and doesn't longer have any of the Fairy's weaknesses while transformed. Instead she's weak to holy objects and light magic. This transformation boosts her other skills.

[Weakness] Poor physical competence: Even transformed she prefers to use her magic, as a powerful witch she has forsaken any kind of physical training.

[Passive] Hit and run: Part of her mana goes to her physical strength and speed, but her physical defence is still as weak as any other fairy. Unlike Artemis that has completely overcome her physical weaknesses, she has balanced her magical training with her physical one. As a result only a part of her mana empowers her physically while the rest is free for her to actively use, her offensive and evasiveness are heightened while her defenses remain as the ones of regular royal fairies.

[Affinity] Light Magic [Advanced]: She can use light magical energy to create complex constructs, defend her allies or blast her enemies. She can also bless objects to give them special properties and buff her allies with blessings too.

[Affinity] Lightning Magic [Average]: She can control and summon electricity to a degree.

[Active] Magical Fighting Arts [Advanced]: The ability to use magic by imbuing it the weapon, fists and legs to improve the physical strength of her attacks. She helped Artemis to create and teach this new technique. She specializes in wielding a sword in each hand and her lightning fast attacks along with her angelic powers have gained her the moniker of "Religious Mantis" as a sign of respect.

[Active] Elixir Brewing [Advanced]: She has studied the art of mixing ingredients and bless them to acquire a magical substance. Elixirs focus on healing, lifting curses and buffing whoever drinks them.

[Trait] Celestial (Angel): She can transform into an angelic being, she gets an asymmetric outfit and doesn't longer have any of the Fairy's weaknesses while transformed. Instead she's weak to cursed objects and dark magic. This transformation boosts her other skills.

[Equipment] Swords: High quality swords that she wields in each hand. She has blessed them to be able to resist the lightning and light elements she imbues them in while she fights.

[Weakness] Jack of all trades but master of none: She's a well balanced character able to fill any role but doesn't have any specialties.

Assigned Colors: Minerva's Lilac & Diana's Baby Pink

Name: Selene Undyne

Age (Fairy Years): 45

Age (Human Years): 450

Sexuality: Heterosexual.

Alignment: Neutral Good.

Species: Season Fairy (Spring)

Status: Royalty

Occupation: Queen of Ausque.

Appearance: Before that her hidden trait was activated she was identical to her daughters with long blue hair and blue eyes. However after its awakening her hair turned blonde and her eyes green.

Personality: Selene is a kind a warm ruler, not only beautiful outside but also inside. She will protect Ausque and her daughters with her life if she has to. Thanks to her the kingdom has an everlasting spring wich keeps the morale for fairies high.

Background:

The magical land of Ausque is a legend among magical creatures, a safe place to live where no human could enter because a magical barrier hided and closed the entrance. The Kingdom itself wasn’t really formed until a brave Fairy named Titania Undyne united forces with fairies, dryads, nymphs, dragons and elves to rebel against the humans. Fairies may be powerful but humans knew their weakness and exploited it to slave them to be their magical batteries, Titania wasn’t going to allow this to continue. Her family was native to Ausque and never went out of its protective barrier; she knew the stories about the outside world and couldn’t bear to let her species and other magical folk to suffer any longer. Titania gathered allies and strength for the war to come and prayed to the Original Tree of Ausque to give her the power to win.

Snap

A branch with a fruit fell in front of her, it broke? No… that’s impossible, the tree was the first grow in the world and it was going to be the last one standing. This was its blessing; the tree was giving her the powers she asked for. She quickly took the branch to her chambers and worked to craft a proper weapon for her, the fruit wasn’t going to help her much but the branch could make a perfect wand. Oberon was the first to ever believe in her, not only because they were meant to marry each other but because he saw she was right. She gave him the fruit which turned into a sword in his hands; they would lead the revolution together with the power of love.

The day came, human and magical blood splattered on the street, they were losing. Titania could not believe it, she gave it all and even then she could not save her people… Bullshit! She would not lose this battle, whatever it took, whatever she could do; she was willing to do it. Magic pulsing trough her veins she casted the darkest forbidden spell ever made: “I call the darkness unto me, from deepest depths of earth and sea, to blackest night a pledge my soul and crush my heart to burn in coal, to summon forth the deadly power to see my hated foe DEVOURED!” Completed silence, the sky went black, a powerful storm formed above the battlefield and dark magic marked her body, her blue hair went black and her blue eyes turned red. The Season Fairy of autumn, Titania, Queen of Death and Destruction. That spell obliterated all of her enemies in less than a second and also awakened her royal trait; she gained everyone’s respect that dreadful day that became known as “The day that fairies claimed the world”. Not only she liberated her people but also let everyone know that they shouldn’t mess with fae folk. After this she opened Ausque’s door to all the magical folk, forming a new official kingdom in the process. Oberon never let her side, he was the only one that could never fear her and only love her...

A few generations later Selene Undyne was born. She was a naive fairy that fell in love with Solar, a young royal blooded fairy boy that came from Camelot. Selene could not understand why Ausque had to be such a secluded kingdom, times were different and Solar supported her ideas by explaining the outside world to her. They got married and as a Queen she started public relations with the other kingdoms, a day prior to her attending to an important meeting with the rulers of the other kingdoms her trait got activated. Her blue hair turned blonde and her blue eyes were now green, she didn’t understood why but this also made her very sick. Solar decided to go to the meeting by himself… and she never saw him again. She felt it, the moment he died, the pain and fear he had suffered… she waked up crying that day and would have committed suicide if she hasn’t felt two life forms growing inside of her at the last second. Solar carriage was ambushed by unknown trained assassins that were prepared to deal with fairies, while his wife was sleeping in Ausque he died a horrible death.

Athena and Artemis saved Selene’s life and probably the kingdom, when Athena came out of her not only the physical pain healed but also the one in her heart. She’s no longer a naïve fairy but hasn’t soured her soul either; she has authorized the exportation of textiles and crafted goods but has reinforced the security on the kingdom. Humans may visit if they’re authorized merchants but aren’t welcome to stay inside, all pure iron must be dropped before entering Ausque and no one can leave the kingdom unauthorized and if authorized they must be escorted by knights. These hard measures have protected the kingdom and its inhabitants while also providing some cultural exchange of sorts, the eternal spring inside of the barrier protecting Ausque provided by her helps to keep everyone happy.

Skills: Aside from the regular skills shared among all fairies the also has:

[Active] Spellcasting [Advanced]: She's a gifted mage although not as much as Athena, still she's able to cast powerful spells effortlessly.

[Affinity] Water Magic (Average): She can summon and control water on its liquid form, as Season Fairy of Spring this ability has been downgraded and can't be improved.

[Trait] Season (Spring): The Undynes have a special trait that is themed on the four seasons of the year, Undynes can activate it into one of those four. Selene awakened as Spring when she became pregnant of Athena and Artemis, she didn't knew the cause until later. She can speak to and summon forest's animals, heal, control and summon plants and earth.

[Affinity] Healing Magic (Spring): The healing magic from the spring season has a purifying effect very useful against necromancers since is able to relinquish the control they have over a corpse. This will transform the corpse into an "Ent" that will fight for her. It's possible for her to resurrect someone that has just died (in that moment) by sacrificing someone else's life force to give it to the deceased. Since she wasn't with her husband when he died she couldn't bring him back.

[Affinity] Plant & Earth Magic (Spring): The Season Fairy of Spring has dominion over these, being able to grant life and intelligence to her creations (earth) and talking with plants as well.

[Affinity] Spring Energy (Master): She can use a green energy to form complex constructs, shields and shoot it to push away. Wherever this energy hits plants will start to grow out of control and attack her enemies. With this she can change the season on a limited area and help with fertility issues.

[Equipment] Goldsmith: A magical Orichalcum staff that resembles a hammer, it has the power to summon weapons of the same material for battle, being able to control them with the mind (like telekinesis). With this wand is also possible to magically craft anything if given the materials required for the object, anything crafted by the wand is copied by it and Orichalcum versions of it become available to summon and control.

[Weakness] Fire & Poison: She's and embodiment of spring, pureness and nature. Fire and poison have a greater effect on her because of this.

Likes: Nature, Safety, Protecting, Animals, Humans with pure hearts

Dislikes: Disobedience, Humans that can't be trusted.

Relationships: -

Misc. Things: She won't marry again to anyone.

Haven's Theme

Appearance:

ahhh.png
A short and incredibly slender Elven maiden, Haven's mastery of Earth Magic and the ancient traditions of her tribe deep within the forests of the Everglades has resulted in her unique appearance. Living tree roots wind around her arms and legs, tufts of grass and flowers grow in her unnaturally green hair. Butterflies flutter around her head during the day, with moths and fireflies replacing them during the night. She usually wears a crown of delicate orchids and lilies - but this changes depending on the season. Buried beneath all the foliage Haven wears beautifully ornate armor covered in Elven symbols and etchings. Her eyes are also violently green, matching her hair.

Personality
Haven is considered an odd one by most who encounter her on her travels. It always seems like her mind is elsewhere. She's slow and contemplative due to her nature, prone to completely phasing out until someone rouses her from her daydreams. Jovial and dedicated, Haven always seems unperturbed by the rudeness of others and always tries to find something positive to say about even the most negative of situations. Haven believes in the natural order of things, with a deep distaste of the darker magics - especially necromancy which is one of the few topics that she treats with complete disgust.
Kind hearted and passive, Haven has been known to offer counselling and a kind ear to those who need it - her other worldly nature and connection to the earth has allowed her to develop a unique and comforting aura that many find rather pleasant.
Haven cares little for politics or the world of "Steel and stone" as she calls it. She tends to drift to wherever she feels shes needed - regardless if she is welcome or not .

Background
As enigmatic and mysterious as the forces of Goddess of Nature herself, Haven's background is somewhat murky. She hails from the most ancient and sacred Forests hidden deep within the Everglade, and is on a journey to spread the seeds of the Forest far and wide, as well as teach others of the beauty and importance of Nature. Whether this is some sort of Pilgrimage for her people, or something that Haven has chosen to do herself is unknown. Her past seems to at least be a happy one at least - she always tends to smile when asked about her family and childhood, though usually politely declines further prompts for information.

In truth, individuals like Haven are a rare sight in the world of men. Every millennia, the most ancient God-Tree within the Everglade Forest - known as Ilusatier - spawns thousands of seeds. The Elven tribe that protects the Forest consider it a sacred duty and right of pilgrimage to take these seeds out into the world and plant them so that new Forests might one day grow. Those that are chosen for this most sacred of duties are blessed by the Forest - to protect them in their travels, which results in their unique appearance.

Abilities
A Savant of the ancient world and its magicks, Haven is powerful and talented specialist of Earth Magic. A passive and kind individual, Haven is not known for her aggressive abilities, but rather specializes in healing and defense. Haven's nature also gives her a natural defense against the darker magics, which are repelled by her light.

HAVEN'S ABILITIES

Hand of Ilusatier

Haven is capable of controlling gigantic hardy tree roots that will suddenly burst from the ground or her body and can be manipulated depending on what Haven requires. The roots can be used for anything from restraining her enemies, defending her allies and increasing her maneuverability.

Hallowed Ground
Haven is capable of healing land that has been damaged or infected by various sources - such as disease or the poisonous effects of dark magic. Given time, Haven is capable of turning even the most lifeless area into a verdant field of vegetation.

Sunburst
Brilliant sunlight from her staff flashes from her staff that can reach up to a sixty foot radius. The light can temporarily blind her foes and even burn them if they are weak to heat and light. Haven can also use a weaker form of Sunburst to provide comforting light to her allies in darker areas. Creatures of the night and undead can potentially be absolutely vaporized.

Regeneration
With a touch of her hand, Haven can stimulate a patients natural healing ability helping them overcome wounds and illness. She is also capable of reattaching severed limbs - though the reattached limb will permanently have a "wooden" tint to it from that point on, much like her own body.

Commune with Nature
With a brief moment of meditation, Haven can become one with the surrounding land. She gains knowledge of the area - up to three miles, as well as the ability to speak to the plants and willing beasts within the area.

Weaknesses
While weak to fire as an element, Haven is capable of defending herself against all but the most intense of flames. Hardy forest roots are surprisingly inflammable.

Her key weakness however, is that due to the very nature of Haven pulling her abilities from the world around her. In areas without any notable link to the natural world - lifeless towns, underground caves - she finds her abilities extremely limited. She also becomes anxious and uncomfortable over time. She is rather claustrophobic and will refuse to go deep underground except in the most dire of circumstances. (She doesn't seem to mind above ground ruins)

Likes:
Trees

Dislikes:
Metal. Stone. Necromancy.

Relationships:
None to note.

Haven's Staff "The Summerwood"
56190a177290d4d2d43aa66fda33ee9c--nerd-poker-fantasy-weapons.jpg

A branch taken from ilusater itself, which is imbued with ancient and powerful magic.

General notes and musings:
Haven's flowers and colors change depending on the season, along with slight shifts in her personality. She's always rather peppy in Spring, a little slower and more contemplative in Winter.

Personality: Azeroth is a very serious and quiet individual often preferring to talk only if he needs to hes not a fan of needless words. Even though he is a mercenary he is kindhearted often giving his services to those in need even if they can't pay as he believes it is the duty of the strong to protect those who cannot protect themselves. He is as loyal as they come to those he cares about so much that he would not hesitate to give up his life if it meant saving his friends or comrades. In battle he is just as serious preferring to dispatch his enemies quickly and efficiently thus ending the fight sooner.
Background: Azeroth was born to a family of poor farmers. When he was born there was a great storm that appeared out of nowhere and though they saw nothing they could have sworn they heard giant wing flaps and what sounded like roars coming from inside the storm. His older brother Jon swore he saw a giant flying shadow in the clouds but thought it must have been his imagination. His family consisted of himself, his mother, his father, his older brother 14 , and older sister 18, and while they did not have a lot they had the love of eachother. As Azeroth grew up strange things happened around him, objects moved without him touching them, plants sprouted up from the ground instantaneously, he also was able to lift up large boulders without effort. His parents knew little about magic and had no money nor a way to send him anywhere to study said magic so they decided to try and give him a normal life and hoped his abilities would settle down.

Everything changed one day when Azeroth was five years old, it was a normal day he was helping his siblings pick weeds from their mothers garden while their parents tended to the fields. Soon a large group of men came upon the farm armed with weapons and looking not to friendly, the kids yelled for their parents who came running and confronted the men about what they wanted. The leader of the group demanded that they give them all of their money, valuables, food, etc. Azeroths parents refused his father stating they had barely anything of value and what food they had they needed for the family otherwise they would go hungry. The group of men laughed as the leader pulled out a knife and stabbed Azeroths father to death his mother let out a scream and lunged at the men shouting at the children to run. His older sister grabbed him and his brother and took off running towards the house as they could hear their mothers screams of pain as the men murdered her as well.

Once they were done with his mother the men gave chase after the kids who had made it inside the house and began to barricade the door still crying about the death of their parents. Soon the men came upon the door and began hacking and slashing at it with their weapons while the children cowered inside. The sister looked at the other two sadly and told them that they were going to go out the window while she distracted the men and they were to run to the woods and hide until the men left. The boys protested but the sister shushed them and opened the window quietly as the door began to splinter away the men outside yelling and whooping like deranged psychos. Once the boys were outside Azeroths brother picked him up and began to run as they heard the door finally give way inside the house and the sister let out a single scream and then silence. This caused Azeroths brother to clutch Azeroth tightly and run faster, his brother could see the treeline of the woods they were almost there. He told Azeroth they would be safe soon.

Azeroth then felt multiple thumps from behind his brother who promptly dropped to the ground causing Azeroth to tumble out of his arms. Azeroth got up and saw multiple arrows sticking out of his brothers back, he simply stared at his brothers now lifeless body in shock from the sudden deaths of his entire family, his entire world. He didn't cry, he didn't whimper, he made not a sound just continued to stare at his brothers body as the group of men surrounded him. They all laughed and jokes about how it was so easy to kill everyone and now could take the farm for themselves as soon as they took care of the last kid. The leader pulled out the same knife used to kill Azeroths father and prepared to use it on the boy when Azeroth finally let out a scream but it was no normal scream this scream was so loud it seemed to penetrate the sky and be carried for miles around. The men all cried out in pain dropping their weapons and falling to their knees as the scream pierced their ears causing them to bleed. When he finished screaming the men were still disoriented as the sky grew dark and storm began to brew much like the one on the day of his birth.

The men began to regain their composure as thunder boomed and lightening started to crack. Then a loud roar and the beating of large wings could be heard as a monstrous dragon descended from the storm and fell upon the men who barely had time to scream as they were slaughtered by the dragon. It was over in mere seconds and the men all lay dead, the dragon then turned its attention to Azeroth who just stared at the giant creature. It then spoke to him in a low but surprisingly soothing voice, it told him its name was Raijin and it was an ancient and powerful storm dragon who had been watching him since the day he was born. Azeroth looked puzzled still reeling from his family's death and now the appearance of a dragon. Raijin stated that Azeroth was a very special individual as he was born with a very high affinity for magic and not just that but had the ability to command dragons something which was very rare even in this world that was filled with magic and all sorts of creatures.

Raijin had intended to wait until the boy was a little older before offering to take him and train him in the ways of magic but this incident forced him to take the boy now. He picked the boy up and put him on his back before ascending into the storm clouds and flying away from Azeroths home. Over the next 20 years Asteroth was raised and trained by Raijin in the ways of all kinds of magic and also trained religiously in many forms of combat. By the time Azeroth was 25 he had mastered many forms of magic even some ancient and forbidden ones and was a master of combat. It was this time that Raijin suggested he head out on his own for awhile to find his own way and discover his destiny. Azeroth wanted to stay with Raijin but knew he was right and agreed that it was time for him to be on his own. Before leaving Raijin presented Azeroth with a gift weapons and armor made from his own scales, he bid his adopted son goodbye and watched as the once boy but now a man walked off into the distance.

Azeroth spent the next four years offering his services to those in need it was mainly poor villages towns with bandit problems but did get involved in some large battles and wars here and there. He always relied on his combat skills never really letting on that he knew magic let alone was a master of some forms. His status as dragonlord was also kept under wraps as he figured once people knew what he was able to do he would be never be left alone.

Abilities:
MAGIC:

Azeroth has a high affinity for magic and under the tutelage of Raijin has mastered various elemental magics. He has not mastered but is adept at conjuring, healing, location, enhancement, transformation, spatial, and various other forms. He understands but is not adept at some darker forms of magic such as chaos, darkness, and some others.

He has a special attack that combines telekinesis magic, spatial magic, and conjuring magic that he named Blade hurricane where he summons dozens of blades and has them attack all at once.

Above average strength

Slightly above average speed.

COMBAT:
He is a very skilled combatant in many forms such as swords, spears, bows, axes, etc. He is also very good at hand to hand combat.

Command of dragons:

As a dragon lord azeroth has the unique ability to be able to command dragons.

Weaknesses
Magic does take a toll on him so using too much can cause him to pass out.

Korite Allard

1589975275046.png
Age: 13
Sexuality: Unknown
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Species: Human
Status: Royalty
Occupation: Princess of Writhshade
Relationships: TBD
Likes: Medicinal plants and sorting them, making antidotes and medicine, insects- namely butterflies and fireflies, sweets, spicy food, nonfiction books, making intricate plans for pranks.
Dislikes: People, especially the ones that look down on her/pity her, fairy tales, myths and legends, public settings.
Fun Facts: Korite absolutely despises fairytales and fantastic tales because she finds them unrealistic to the point where it’s outrageous.

Personality: Korite is a dubious combination between an apathetic nihilist and a little brat. She seems to possess basic empathy, just about enough to understand others, not necessary take their emotions into consideration. Apathy clings to her like a plague, making it difficult for her to form any kind of attachment or try to make an effort to earn someone’s trust. Although individualistic and incredibly cold to most people, in public Korite displays a rather obnoxious persona: an unsmiling child, speaking about much too complex subjects for her age: medicine, philosophy, ethics, mixing in prank ideas and typical childish topics, or keeping true to the family’s reputation: advocating for war in a way that she is subtly mocking the beliefs of her family. Her intelligence is obvious, if only reinforced by her cold nature, yet often overlooked due to her young age.

Backstory: Born in a kingdom that adheres to the belief that war is the only prerequisite for peace, it was evident that even Korite, the youngest child would have a few screws loose.

With a ruthless father infamous for numerous past bloody victories and a pragmatic strategist for a mother, she was raised into the mindset of ‘a soldier first, a person second’. Her parents made it clear from the get-go that they would everything in their power to assure that their homeland would continue to prosper for decades to come, be it fight countless wars or sacrifice a child. She quickly learns that is the reason they are viewed as ‘monsters’, although one could argue that at the very least, their intentions were noble.

Although the Writhshade kingdom finds itself in a time of peace, the horrors and thrills of war are still ingrained in the very roots of each citizens, they hang high above like storm clouds overhead. No one forgets the bloody wars of the past, the famines suffered when their jewel mines had been decimated and trade routes cut off from the rest of the world. They are forever stuck in a vicious loop where peace is but a time to prepare for the next war.

She is clearly told what is expected of her: become an invaluable asset to the kingdom, contribute her part to preserving her home. Because off all the expectations and beliefs pushed upon her, she learns to resent her parents.

Korite, like the rest of her older siblings, received the traditional training an army soldier would receive: intense physical training, being encouraged to specialize in weaponry, be it long or short range and psychological trials meant to desensitize one to gruesome sights and perpetually erase any fears one might have had, including fear of death. The latter consist mainly of witnessing multiple executions of criminals (during peace time, these included but are not limited to: thieves, murderers, impersonators, the like). The kingdom’s harsh policies punish most crimes with immediate execution (on sight for murder or attempted murder and public for crimes ranging from large scale thievery, to impersonation, forgery, adultery or crimes in the name of revenge, crimes against traders and craftsmen), these laws further cementing the royal family’s cruel reputation, but at the same time having better control of the crime rates.

For a true citizen of Writhshade kingdom knows that to fight is to live and death is a stop between this life and the next.

The harsh training leaves Korite unable to see the value of her own life or the lives of others, effectively rendering her an apathetic and generally wary person, which only intensify from then on. She never finishes it, only having covered the minimum to successfully defend herself and employing her teleportation ability in hit and run tactics.

Whether or not she might have wanted to pursue a military career, her efforts are thwarted much too soon by her brother’s constant and overwhelming competition with each other.

Thus, she pursues the only other path presented to her: become a healer. Although very few in this particular kingdom, they are almost as reveled as the soldiers themselves. She manages to become an apprentice healer thanks to her flexible regeneration ability and intelligence. This creates a greater rift between her and her family, Korite’s resentment extending to her siblings as well, perhaps with a unique exception.

Because of her age and position, her views are often overlooked, her being viewed as a valuable resource, but never actually respected. She takes up to pulling pranks and acting childish as a form of rebellion towards her upbringing, thoroughly planning a series of stunts that are never traced back to her.

Teleportation: Short-Range: Can reappear anywhere in a 30-meter radius from her original position in any direction. Whenever she reappears, she makes a noise that resembles the rustling of leaves. She has yet to learn to make jumps silently. Making too many successive jumps causes extreme vertigo and disorientation (maximum tolerated is seven jumps). When teleporting, she needs to concentrate on where she wants to land otherwise, she will reappear in a completely random spot.

*She is able to use short-range teleportation on others as well, provided they touch her in some way and hold on until the jump is complete, otherwise side-effects such as vertigo and minor migraines.

Long-Range: The ficklest skill in her arsenal, Korite can reappear in any random location she has been to. She has little control of the landing point. Takes an excessive amount of energy is limited to one use every three days on herself.

Conditions: When used on more than person, the landing point of a jump will be a location any of the participants has previously been to. All participants must hold on to the caster at all times until the jump is completed lest they’ll experience side-effects with different grades of severity. This skill can be casted an indefinite amount of time since it uses up energy in equal amounts from all of the participants.

*If conditions aren’t met by the people long range teleportation is used on, side-effects vary from the ones present in short-range increasing in severity the greater the distance of the jump. Those may include loss of limbs or internal organs, induced hallucinations for an indefinite amount of time. They affect everyone, caster included.

Regeneration:
Korite has the ability to heal any kind of physical damage dealt to her, except for lethal wounds that only have a 20% chance of being fixed in time to not be life-threatening anymore (when the skill is accelerated). Although she has impeccable control of this particular ability, she is not immune to natural diseases, only able to come out of it faster than the average person.

*Regeneration can be used on others as well, but Korite will be unable to regenerate for the amount of time this skill is used on another person. In the case of more severe wounds, her ability cannot make up for blood loss and its aftereffects.

Scalpels: Korite’s weapon of choice, easy to conceal and if thrown precisely enough could slice veins or arteries, but not bone. For significant damage, a very precise throw and knowledge of anatomy weak points is needed.

Nell.jpg
Name: Nell Ulfric
Age: 25
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Species: Human(Magic)
Status: High Middle Class
Occupation: Pendragon Knight

Appearance: Nell is a not handsome man. His hair is always unkempt and full of dirt. His face-threatening with rough features, eyes that seem to stare directly at your soul and unkept beard that littered his face.

He is a lanky man, especially in comparison to the other knights of the kingdom. He stands at 5.10 feet, shorter than other knights. On his back is the once prideful past he hides. It was a tattoo of a pair of fairy wings being sliced through by a sword, an infamous symbol for the Fairy slayer guild.

Personality:

His personality matches perfectly well with his look. He's rude, arrogant and often makes people uncomfortable expressing his prejudice ideologies. Due to his past, he has a hard time making relationships with other people, especially his knight peers. In a kingdom that rejects magic, Nell rarely interacts with anyone to reduce the risk of him getting caught. His still uses his magic however during sparring pits and battle, allowing to give him the edge in combat and win despite his lack of proper combat skills.

His alignment with the Fairy Slayer Guild was evident with their tattoo on his back. He always tries to hide it from people, especially when having to go naked during showers or sparring pits. Rumours spread that he was a closeted homosexual who was insecure with other men, though he didn't if it was a better alternative than being associated with the Guild.

He has a hatred for creatures that weren't human, believing they don't deserve to have the same social power as them. The beliefs were influence by his time within the Fairy Slayer Guild but it mainly created by his life as an orphan who was bullied and outranked by people who weren't human. He believes than non-human species have too much power in the world. When encountering other species, he would either scowl at them or make racist comments that were sure to get a reaction.

At the time it had been five years away since he's seen any of his old guildmates but he still sees them as his true family. He understands that some of their actions went too far, but he misses the people he considered to be his teachers, his guardians, his brothers and sisters.

Background:

Nell's childhood was not a happy one. He was raised within an orphanage and town that was filled with other races except for humans. Due to his difference race, he would often be bullied by the other kids and was often rejected for adoption. The few humans who did live within the town barely had any wealth or power, having peasant-like occupation. The only thing that gave him joy within the place was his illusion magic, which he used either to help him escape his bullies or prank them. After twelve forsaken years within that town, his hatred for the other races developed. He realised he needed to get out of the place.

His wishes were answered when in the middle of the night, The Fairy Slayer Guild raided the town, capturing and slaughtering anyone that wasn't human. They gathered the humans, including Nell, into a place outside of the town and asked them if they wanted to join their guild and support their righteous cause. Most rejected the offer, they were executed after, but Nell was more than happy to join.

Within the guild, he trained to develop his magic and did any task they asked him to do. For the next five years, they gave him a home, true friends and the best family he could ever ask for.

All that was gone when the guild was raided by knights. Within a night, Nell was alone again. He wondered the land, trying to find a new home and soon he found one within the Pendragon kingdom, a place with where he could start his new life with his new name. Nell Ulfric.

He started out as a simple guard for the kingdom, but he soon he climbed the ranks, no thanks to his use of his magic that he was very careful and discreet with.

In the past years within his kingdom, he isolated himself from everyone to hide his past and magic capabilities. Either those two facts about him exposed to the public, he would soon be under the executioner's axe. He came to understand some of the acts within the guild when too far...some of the acts, they still mostly deserved.

Finally, he reached the rank of royal knight, soon his life would become easier, away from the hardships of his past life. He didn't really have a deep loyalty for those in power but he did have skills and achievements that qualified him as a royal knight, no thanks to his use of illusions giving him a fine edge in combat.

Ability:

Sense Illusions: Nell can summon illusions base on the five senses. He could only make illusions for things he had seen, heard or felt, but his illusions look almost real, especially if he uses more than one senses.

Purple Claw: Nell can summon a pair of blades that acts as claw within his hands. The claws are arms-length and gives a devastating cut, though it's more difficult to maintain since it is a physical object he is conjuring instead of illusions.

Light Healing: Nell could heal recent wounds and cuts but his knowledge of healing magic is limited, especially since his training was cut short when the Guild was attacked.

Likes/Dislikes:

Nell doesn't like a lot of things but he does enjoy a good drink and some piece of quiet with it. He also enjoys sparring with his peers, often using his magic to cheat matches.

Nell hates interacting with any races that aren't human Elves are the worst kind, just for their pretentious attitude. He doesn't like anyone who thinks their better than everyone, especially those in power who believes themselves to be great, even though they had done nothing to prove themselves.

vess smol.jpg

Vess's Theme

Age: 24 (in Fairy Years.)
Sexuality: Bisexual
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Species: Celestial Fairy (Corrupted)
Status: Rogue Fae
Occupation: TBD

Personality
A schemer whose fondness for mischief made her infamous throughout the Kingdom of Ausque, Vess takes personal delight in meddling in the affairs of others in attempts to alleviate the tedium of existence. She has terrified children, had a hand in several political and personal scandals, fooled unwitting travelers into deadly traps and almost started several small wars in her career.

Seemingly childlike and carefree, Vess uses her innocent appearance to lure her victims into a false sense of security making them easy targets for her manipulations. Vess rarely thinks about the consequences of her actions - especially if she sees an opportunity to cause even more of a ruckus, and seems to hold most others in secret contempt; as if they're not smart enough to understand the joke. Oddly, she seems to despise her own race most of all - seeing the Fairy-Folk as egotistical do-gooders. She believes there is no reason to order - thinking it a cold and sterile thing that is foolish to pursue, as it always collapses sooner or later. She cares nothing about Good or Evil, and sees rules as things to be tested and broken for her own amusement.

Deep down, Vess really desires to be accepted for who she is - but after years of hate and being pushed away, Vess has turned into a deeply spiteful and lonely individual who wants nothing more than to see the happiness of others fall apart in front of their eyes.

Background
The eldest daughter of the Lux family, Vess was once considered a savant of magic and a child-prodigy within the Kingdom of Ausque, Vess was widely respected by those around her and was expected to soon be a decorated Royal Knight to the Royal family, but never seemed to be that enthusiastic about the idea despite her talents.
No one is quite sure what caused Vess to give up such a future and instead become a cause of misery and frustration for the community. Some say the pressure of expectation got to her and she went mad, while others believe she had a very fierce falling out with her family and once loved younger sister Diana. Regardless of the truth, one day Vess decided to abandon Ausque and travel the world, but not before stealing one of the holy treasured staves of the Royal Family on the way out - The Moonfall Staff- with which her already extraordinary abilities have been pushed to ever greater heights.

And now that she has that power...

Abilities
Vess wields all the standard powers of Fairies in addition to her own unique skills. She's an incredibly adept spell-caster with a wide range of skills learned during her days receiving some of the best education available in Ausque.

Trickster - Vess's signature ability. Vess is capable of creating duplicates of herself, change her own form to suit her needs (Though a scratch reveals her true form beneath), confuse and disorientate others, instill sudden bursts of emotion in targets, render herself invisible and summon other illusions to confuse her foes.

Royalguard - Vess's affinity for Light magic is geared towards defense. She is capable of constructing barriers of pure light to protect herself from other spells, and is especially effective against dark magic users.

Fallen Angel - Like other Celestial Fae, Vess is capable of undergoing a temporary transformation into an angelic form that increases her power. Vess's nature has left this form corrupted however, and while it has a resistance to dark magic, it ironically leaves her weak to Light magic.

The MoonFall Staff - A treasure of the Royal Family, The Moonfall staff is constructed from a piece of molten metal that fell to Earth long ago, and is imbued with strange and odd powers that compliment Vess's chaotic style. Even she doesn't know its full capabilities.

Likes
Jokes, pranks, happy people getting whats coming to them, Vess.

Dislikes
Happy people, being bored, Ausque

Relationships
Elder sister of Diana. They were closer when they were younger, but Vess abandoned her along with everyone else when she left Ausque.

Alanya Freyella Eloria

IMG_3762.JPG

Age: 19

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Species: Human

Status: Royalty

Occupation: Princess of Eloria

Appearance: Alanya is 5ft 4in and weighs around 120 lbs. She has brown-green piercing eyes. Long brown curly hair and brown skin. She has a soft face that seems innocent but there's something more hidden beneath the surface. Her style is very sweet and charming. She loves her ball gowns but she also enjoys more subtle dresses and her riding pants. Alanya is typically seen wearing lighter and brighter colors.

Personality: Alanya is very fierce. Despite being raised as a princess, she is incredibly stubborn and headstrong a trait given to her from her parents. She is very determined and once she puts her mind to something she does it. While she can be very blunt at times she is also very sweet and caring. At the end of the day, Alanya wants whats best for her people and kingdom even if that means she doesn't get what she wants. Alanya comes off as innocent to the eye but she is the more devious sibling and tends to get herself into more trouble.

Background: As a child, Alanya was very curious and carefree. Her father was her favorite person and wherever he was she was not too far behind him. Despite his stubborn nature he also has a soft spot for his Anya. Being raised in her brother's shadow has helped Alanya to find other ways for herself to stand out like with her musical abilities and her tenacity. Struggling with the loss of her father Alanya has found very specific ways to cope whether it be taking a ride on her horse, or hiding in her father's' study when her despair becomes overwhelming. Her mother has always been on top of Alanya in order to ensure that she is following through with her lessons and being as proper as she can be. She is currently on her case about marriage but Alanya wants to hear none of it. She wants to live and explore the world without having to deal with an overbearing husband. She is still so young and has yet to find anyone who is truly worth her time. She enjoys a challenge and is never one to give up on a good fight.

Any Ability: Alanya is a very strategic thinker and is incredibly logical. As a child, she was taught magic and has received lessons from the palace sorcerer and continues her training but as she has grown older it has become harder for her to focus on casting her spells so they tend to not work as effectively as she would like. She was decent when it came to her combat skills due to her father teaching her but she refused to do any more training once he had passed.

Likes: Music, Dancing, Children, Magic, Fashion, Her family

Dislikes: Her family (somedays), Combat training, talks of her brother becoming king and marriage, People who treat her like she is dumb

Relationships: TBD

Misc. Things: Alana comes off as a headstrong and resilient girl but on the inside, she is still plagued by the death of her father.

Noah.jpg
Name: Noah Allard
Age: 15
Sexuality: Bisexual
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Species: Human
Status: Royalty
Occupation: Prince of Writhshade

Appearance:

Noah is both an adorable and handsome man, being able to catch any woman's (and man's) attention. Lucious blonde hair, soft cheeks and lips. He had a smile that could warm any heart. He was every young woman's dream.

He was a skinny boy, compared to his brothers, but it does add to his soft and friendly look.

Personality:

Noah is a kind-hearted boy, willing to help anyone in need. He deeply cares about his family, especially his brothers. Sure he was often competitive with them, but he still loved and cared for them deeply.

He is criticised to be too soft, often trying to play it safe and doing what's best for his people instead of the kingdom as he truly believes that a person with great power should serve the people and not the other way around. Talking to the inhabitants of the kingdom was something he enjoyed as he learns so much from them. He talks to all of them, no matter their status. He is less aggressive compared to his brothers but he still has that competitive edge that causes him to butt head with them so much.

...that was what he wanted people to think.

In truth, he is a manipulative person who uses his soft persona to be undermined and better take advantage of his opponents. He enjoys making people believe he was this weak person who cared too deeply about others. When no one is looking, he would often peek in and listen to his siblings and parents' conversation, gathering any knowledge he could use at his advantage.

Interacting with the people allows him to gain their trust, make them like him. When it comes decided who would be the next ruler, the people would surely choose the one who made time to talk to them, the person who seemed to actually care about them.

He believes himself to be truly better than anyone, he has a vision of a perfect world where he rules and is worship, all people of any race together to serve him. He would do anything to achieve that vision, he would even go as a far get all of his family members assassinated just to get his wish...though he might make an exception for one person.

He sees his brothers to be brutes with power, while he perceives his parents to be too old to hold the responsibility of ruling a kingdom. His sister is different, though he sees her as weak for pursing healer duty instead of fulfilling his responsibility as a princess, he does respect her intelligence and even finds a lot of her pranks amusing. Every act she pulls, he has to keep himself from laughing and instead act like the wet blanket older brother to not break his fake persona.

Background:

Noah's childhood was very similar to his siblings. Raised to believe that war was the only option for peace and that the kingdom is their priority.

Their parent's war-hungry ways lead to them to be trained under harsh conditions. The training they went through was too much for their age, even the youngest weren't exempted from it. Noah was weak with a sword and shield, handling a knife would often lead to him accidentally cutting himself, but he was excellent using arrows and crossbows, better than his siblings at least.

He had no friends to talk to, not only because of the training he had to do but also due to his introverted personality. Sure he had his siblings, but their competitive attitude against one another prevents them from having a friendly relationship. He was nicknamed the quiet prince because of this.

He felt alone, though he was skilled he was not as good as his brothers, and his parents saw him as a weak link. They had never stated it to him but he was aware that was what they thought of him. As he got older, he slowly realised the people around him were too incompetent to truly rule the kingdom. They hadn't gone to war in years and he knew their reputation would soon crumble if no one was to do something about. Noah imagined himself as the ruler instead, realising he would be a great one.

He was intelligent, he knew how to handle people and political negotiations was something he could excel at. His brothers were all just brawn to him while he had the brain. He had a new goal. He needed to change, he needed an edge against his family.

That's how he formed his soft persona. By the time he was thirteen, he went from the quiet prince to the motherly prince, caring for his people and family like a mother bird caring for his chicks. It was an odd change at first but it soon became normal. He spoke softly, would often cook for the family, and would often try to disarm arguments. He became the people's prince, going around the kingdom to make conversations with the residents and learning more about them. His family probably sees it as further proof of his incompetence, caring more about the people's opinions than his own judgement. They don't know that by having the people rely on him, he had a loyal army.

Abilities:

Butterspy: Noah can summon a black butterfly that acts as his eyes and hears. He could only conjure one at a time and has to be at moderate proximity around it to work. After about an hour it would vanish into thin air and he won't be able to summon another one for a few hours.

Great Aim: Noah is proficient with ranged weapons, especially with a crossbow. He could fire accurately at a great distance with any ranged weapons, as long as it's not throwing knives.

Multiple Faces: His soft persona isn't the only thing he could use. He could become another persona to gain an advantage, whether for interacting with different kinds of people or using it to interrogate someone.

Likes/Dislikes:

He derives joy from watching people get tricked by his persona, an achievement he cherishes. Insects are something he greatly admires. Oddly, he enjoys cooking quite a lot, having great skills for it

He hates reptiles, especially since a lot of them consume insects. Reading is something he thought to be too boring.

Name: Corvina le Fay
Age:
Sexuality: bisexual
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Species: Corrupted Elf.
Occupation: Evil Enchantress and devout follower of the darkness.
Appearance:

91939c0cdf6f935921c8308da87b984b (1).jpg
Personality: A pure evil and malicious woman. She wants nothing more than to spread chaos and slaughter as many as she can to collect their souls to add to her power. She cares not for anyone except herself if someone is in her way or fails her she will not hesitate to kill them and will do so will a smile on her face. She does however sometimes offer those she deems worthy the chance to serve under her provided they completely devote themselves to her and the darkness, though she only gives this chance to very select inviduals.

Background: Corvina was for all intents and purposes a normal Elf when she was born. Born into a remote Elven village deep in the woods, as she grew she was a little odd but nothing to extreme. She had trouble practicing magic even at beginner levels due to being born with very little magical energy this led to her being bullied by other Elves and feeling like an outcast. This continued into her early teen years which resulted in her completely isolating herself from social interaction. One day when she was alone in the woods she stumbled upon a mysterious book with strange symbols all over the cover. She took it home and starting looking through it realizing this was a book on dark and forbidden magic. The main things covered in the book was strengthening ones magical abilities with the souls of others.

She had read a little bit and almost got up and tossed it out thinking it was bad news. Then something suddenly came over her, she thought about all the bullying she endured the constant isolation and mental torture she had experienced from everyone else. She decided instead of throwing it away she would read it and use this knowledge to grow her power and show everyone that they shouldn't have messed with her. After shutting herself in her room for days studying the book she finally felt confident that she could pull off the magic.

She decided to test out this new magic on one of the fairies who had been bullying her for years. She waited until the other Elf was alone and snuck up on them killing them with a blow to the head with a rock. She then pulled out a gem and spoke the words from the book, almost instantly the gem glowed purple and sucked what looked like steam from the dead fairy body. As soon as it was finished Corvina felt a rush of energy flow into her body, it worked the magic had actually worked. She was elated not only was her magic enhanced now but she rid the world of a nasty Elf bully.

She told herself this was a one time thing she only needed that magic boost to make her levels normal like the rest of her village. She was wrong though after killing the other Elf and invoking the dark magic she had committed and evil act and allowed darkness into her heart, this would begin to change her entire being. She was fine for a few days after the act but then began to crave more power so she killed another Elf and took their soul, then another, and another each one giving her a soul that grew her power. With each kill and soul trapped her mind grew more and more twisted her heart filling with more evil and darkness. Eventually her village started questioning the disappearances of the slain Elves and began to investigate, Corvina knew it was only a matter of time before they were onto her.

She made a plan that night and decided to put it into action the next day. She first started by poisoning her parents and collecting their souls before heading to the main water supply for the entire village. She poisoned that as well and over the next few days the entire village perished with Corvina around to collect each and every soul. After this Corvina grabbed the book and left the village. The following years consisted of Corvina honing her magic and collecting every book she could on forbidden magic, eventually she accumulated so many souls that her magic was off the charts and feared by those who knew of her existence. She was now a heartless evil being that only lived to serve the darkness and spread misery and one of the most powerful follower of darkness.

Any Ability:
Corvina is a master of various dark magics including chaos magic, blood magic, necromancy, death magic, soul trapping magic, curses and many others.

She has also become very adept at elemental magic, spatial magic, teleportation magic, mind magic, transformation and shape-shifting magic, and protection magic, summoning magic.

Master Manipulator: Corvina is extremely good at manipulating others even without using her mind magic. She often can convince others to do her bidding by promising them wealth, power, or anything else their heart desires.

Soul collection: Corvina is able to capture and seal the souls of her victims in a gem. Each soul she captures increases her power.

Mind enslavement: she is able to possess the minds of certain people and get them to do her bidding against their will. Generally she uses them for menial tasks and kills them afterwords.

Weaknesses: Corvina relies heavily on her powerful magic and as such has no actual melee combat abilities so if she was ever forced into a melee battle she would absolutely lose.

Her power mainly comes from the souls she collects from the people she kills which she keeps in a gem on her person. If she is separated from this gem she would become severely weakened and unable to access most of her magic.

Her Manipulation of others and mind enslavement relies heavily on whether someone is weak willed or has evil and greed in their hearts. So if someone is strong willed or pure of heart they will see through her attempts and be able to resist.

Shes sensitive to light and weak against light magic.

Background: Its believed that phillip was not born but merely appeared in the world one day. His Neverending mission from day one was to seek out humans named Phillip and spread the gospel of how good hay is.

Any Ability : Phillip is immortal he cannot die and nothing can hurt him this allows him to roam the earth forever in search of the phillips and hay.

He can speak but only to people named phillip to anyone else it would sound like neighing and snorting.

he poops gold when he eats hay The amount of hay he eats determines what comes out.. it could be a gold nugget or gold coin all the way up to solid bricks of gold. However most of the time the gold in whatever form comes spraying out at a rapid speed so it could cause some damage. Phillip once wrecked a royal bath house due to eating some really good imported hay from India and began rapid firing gold bricks through the walls. (Don't ask me why a hirse was in a bath house because frankly it's just silly...he was of course invited)

Tamara Louise Baltimore

EWV-m5KXQAE2yZs.jpg

Age: 21
Sexuality: Asexual
Alignment: Lawful Good
Species: Human
Status: Royalty
Occupation: Princess "Thyme: The Warrior" of Baltimore
Appearance:
Tamara is much taller than both of her sisters and far more muscular. Which make sense due to the amount of time she spends training with the guards. She is has a very lean, athletic build, and can easily dead lift 250 lbs (approx. 113 kg) She, like Rosaline, has beautiful dark brown hair that she usually keeps tied up in braids as to stay out of her face. She and Rosaline actually resemble each other quite a bit, but Tamara's features are far sharper and less feminine than dear Rosie. She's also quite a bit tanner, as she spends most of her days out in the sun.
Personality:
Tamara is a kind soul with a very strict moral code. She believes in taking care of others before herself and she's always thinking about the greater good of kingdom. If she were not a Princess, she would most definitely want to become a knight. She highly reveres the knights under her father's command and treats them with the upmost respect. She herself is a lot like Rosie in that she let people's actions dictate weather or not they deserve her trust and respect. However she is like Octavia in her upmost loathing of the Naga. She believes that are purely evil beings to deserve to be destroyed for the acts they have committed to her kingdom and people.
Background:
Princess Tamara Louise Baltimore is the second born daughter to King Alexander Baltimore and second in line for the throne. Like her other sisters, she had extensive lessons on how to be a proper lady and princess but none of it seemed to satisfy the young princess. She would have much rather been outside running around with her shoes off. Or riding the horses. Or even sparring with the knights on the training grounds. (Much to her governess' dismay) She was a rowdy child who enjoyed her alone time and enjoyed her fair share of mischief. However, as she got older, and was allowed more time to train with weapons, she settled down and actually became quite the studious student. (Say that 10 times fast)

Tamara quickly advanced in her training and was soon using heavy weaponry. She got a lot of disapproval from many in court along with some of the guards and knights she trained with. This used to bother her; she couldn't understand why so many people were against her training and skill with weapons. It also frustrated her. Her father was the King of Baltimore, she was a princess. Had they no respect for her or her father's authority? If her father had any reservations or doubts about Tamara's training he would have stopped it long ago. It was...bothersome...to say the least. But there was one person who made Tamara feel welcome; Sir Tribius Von Ulric. He was her father's most trusted knight and advisor. He had years of experience fighting the Naga and all of the battle scars to prove it. Tamara looked up and respected him so much. Out of all of the people she worked with, Sir Tribius never once looked down upon her because of her gender or status. He treated her just as he would any other knight, and for that Tamara was eternally grateful. She would become one of the strongest fighters in her kingdom because of him.

Tamara, from a young age, was quite...loud... She had a voice you could hear from half way across the castle. And that voice always had a story to tell. Weather it was from a book she had recently read, or gossip that she had heard floating around the palace. Young Tamara always had something to say. She was also a talented singer. Despite her rough exterior, Tamara very much enjoyed, and still enjoys, music. It wouldn't be uncommon to hear the Princess singing to herself as she completely daily tasks or even while she trained. When Tamara was around 15 or 16, there were a string of attacks on coastal villages by the Naga. Octavia, ever the impulsive sister out of the three, ran to one of said villages against her father's orders to aid in the fight. Tamara, and the rest of the court have no idea what exactly happened that day, but Octavia came home with her eyes burned out of her own skull. The attacks continued though, despite the massacre in Oaktree. It had been a week and they were still attacking villages. Tamara was frustrated sitting in her castle while her people suffered and her knights fought for her. She had to do something. Of course, she knew she would never get permission from her father, but she hoped that she would accept her apology later. She rode out to the small village of Nestor a while after the main regime. She caught up with the tail end of them just as they were approaching the gates of the town. The scene in front of Tamara was nothing like she had ever seen before, or could have even imagined. People, her people, were running out of the village in terror. Mothers cradling their children, fathers doing what they could to protect their families. Tamara was almost tempted to run away, but she knew she couldn't. She knew she had to be there for her people. So she dismounted her horse and drew her sword. It felt like hours they had been fighting, but neither side was letting up. Tamara could feel her arms tiring. She had been fighting for so long, she didn't know how much more she could take. Suddenly, she was knocked off her feet by something behind her. She hit the ground, hard, and it dazed her for a moment. But it was enough, as she regained her senses, she could feel herself being dragged across the ground. She looked around to see the beach of the coastal town. Her eyes grew wide, knowing what was coming next. She fought hard against her assailants to break free. She kicked and screamed but the two Naga soldiers had a tight grip on her and were not letting go. Tamara frantically looked around for someone, anyone, to help her. Then she saw him, for the first time in the whole fight, Sir Tribius. She screamed for him, praying he would hear her and come help. Once, "Sir Tribius!" Twice "Sir Tribius help me!" Three times, "Sir- The third time she was cut off. Water enveloped her as she was dragged into the sea. Her lungs burned as they were filled with water, Tamara didn't have enough time to take a breath before going under. Her eyes burned from the salt, her throat burned as she was dragged deeper and deeper. Tamara fought hard, but she could feel herself slipping...slowly...as the water grew darker, and darker...
Tamara woke suddenly on the shore of Nestor. Coughing up slat water and her own blood. Her head was spinning and her limbs were sore. She looked around to see who had saved her, but she lost consciousness soon after waking up. She awoke again, this time at the palace, in her room. The familiar smell of lavender and mountains greeted her nose as she went to sit up. She groaned in pain, her entire body felt stiff and sore. How long had she been laying in bed? How long ago had the battle at Nestor taken place. She opened her mouth to call for her handmaiden but something was wrong. She could not speak! She tried, desperately to say words. Say anything, but not a sound was made. For weeks, months, different healers, magi, and the like tried to help Tamara with her affliction but to no avail. It did get better though, after some time, Tamara was able to speak, but not nearly as strongly as her voice once was. It now came out in a raspy whisper, barely audible if you aren't paying attention. Tamara's once beautiful singing voice was now reduced to nothing. The emotional blow was devastating. Tamara went through a period of depression at the loss of her voice. It had once been a big part of who she was and now she had to communicate in different ways. After the incident, she and her sister Rosaline became quite close, bonding over their disabilities in communicating. Tamara still argues often with Octavia; they never did see eye to eye.
Any Ability:
Tamara is proficient with just about any sword. (Although she has an affinity for claymores and greatswords.) She is also trained with ranged weaponry but does not prefer it and is not nearly has skilled with them as she is with swords. She also has training in hand to hand combat and can hold her own in a fight. But again, swords are her specialty.

Misc. Things:
Tamara is Asexual in that she isn't currently interested in having relationships with anyone. She knows one day, it will be her duty to her kingdom to marry someone and carry on her lineage however she has far more important things to worry about than getting married and having children. She has a kingdom to protect and a duty to her father.

- Bell -
“Welcome to The White Stag”

Age: Unknown
Sexuality: Unknown
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Species: Swiftstride shifter
Status: Seems like a normal guild head, has connections with other guilds in other kingdoms.
Occupation: One of the head trading guilds for medicinal and magical ingredients
Appearance:
Standing in 5’9”, Bell is sleek and lean. Subtle hints of tight muscles suggests that he’s a runner or a jumper as his leg and thigh muscles are the ‘thickest‘. His nose bent on the arch, angular cheek bones, somewhat full lips, and surprisingly well kept thick brows. His skin is a light caramel, sun kissed as he always stayed outside in markets, and littered with freckles. Decently long neck and well sculpted collarbone. Somewhat dark chocolate curly hair that he tends to pull back lazily. Disinterested orange honey-colored eyes.

When he shifts, however, Bell becomes true to his beast-like nature. Human ears are gone and replaced by long and tall hare ears. He’ll gain a fluffy bunny tail and his human legs will form into sleek rabbit legs and feet. He is most comfortable in this form.

Should he shift further, Bell will turn into a chocolate hare with orange hints on his leg and ear fur. He hates it when someone picks him up in this form and will kick that person’s face without qualms.

What he wears is surprisingly rich colored and exotic clothing. Robes, sashes, billowy pants, sandals, a hare’s hide somewhere on his body, sometimes wearing gold or bronze-copper choker, wristbands, and anklets.
Personality:
In first glance, Bell seems aloof. Disinterested with the world and the folks in it as he smokes his pipe. However he is attentive when need be. Strict with the guild, it’s workers, and the trading markets for good reason: making sure everyone is safe. He keeps an ear out for gossip and rumors that might affect the guild and it’s connections, weary of incoming discoveries when it comes to poisonous items, and upcoming wanted names of bandits or thieves. He is not forgiving nor will he forget a face, so please keep in mind of his temper. He can be sassy in his spite no matter your status, he will find a way to make your day miserable like how you did to his day. He upholds the saying ‘Treat others how you want to be treated.’

It’s surprising to hear of his good reputation from others, especially from the workers. It’s more surprising to see how the workers are relaxed around him despite the tough exterior he shows. Sometimes teasing and playful whenever they interact with him as he stresses over things. This is thanks to the little doe shifter that’s following him around and hiding under his robes.
Background:
In a dark room that’s filled with cushions and curtains draped all over, a single lamp is lit on top of a wooden table. Two men sat opposite of each other, one smoking a pipe lackadaisically and the other, much younger, was tense. Gripping his knees in hopes to hide his nervous habit to bounce his leg as they stared at each other quietly. He jumped when the guild master broke the silence.

”I would like to thank you for your hard work, Trevor. Melody has told me of you doing over time? At night?”

“Y-yes, sir! Earn meh keepin’s, ya kno’?“

”So there’s nothing wrong happening in your home?” That snapped Trevor’s full attention, his brown eyes widened in surprise. “H-how didja kno’? Uh umm- sir?”

“A little birdy spotted your bruises when you took off your shirt on your night break.” At this, Trevor looked down, shoulders slumped. His lips trembled in fear of something the guild master couldn’t hope to imagine.

”I won’t pry, but as thanks, mind staying here?” Bell asked. “You work for the same hours. Shelter and food will be provided. Just don‘t go home yet. Alright?”

”B-but, sir-! I mustn’t-“

”It’s thanks for working hard. Not pity. Will you accept my gift or not?” Trevor gulped and hesitantly nodded. Bell smoked out a puff that smelled like peaches. “Good.“ Suddenly a ball of energy tackled the timid Trevor off his seat, yelling in cheer as Bell sighed. He leaned to the side to
Bell grew up with neglectful parents, not having the attention a child would normally have. Not even his accomplishments rewarded him with smiles, just dead sneers. So once he became of age (13), he ran away from his parents and became a traveling hermit. Surviving on just what he can find and trade for with the merchants that pass by the roads for years. Then one day, as he spotted a caravan passing through, an elderly man named Ezō Sika had invited him to come with when he saw the high quality herbs Bell was trading for a bit of food. The shifter didn’t want to and declined before running off, leaving behind the high quality medicinal herbs.

Time passed, and once again, a now much older Bell spotted the same caravan passing through. He was about to leave when he heard a familiar voice call out to him and winced. It was the same old man, waving and hopped off the cart to chase Bell. Catching him and tossing him into the caravan before continuing their journey. “Kidnappers! Poachers! Let me go and I won’t beat you to a pul-!” He yelled only to have a dinner plate shoved in his face. The old man smiled.

”Eat, then we’ll talk.”

Bell hadn’t eaten anything from the caravan and had tried to escape many times for a month. Just to get caught by the old man or by his workers. Running out of energy, the shifter gave up and just ate the bread the old man offered once more. Glaring at him as he listened to the old man’s insistence on him staying. Ezō was impressed by Bell’s eye on finding high quality goods and wanted him to stay as an apprentice. Having to hear that he will have a job and not be involved with others as much as he travels to find more herbs, Bell agreed. The more time he spent with Ezō, the more he loosened up and started caring —- just a tiny bit!— about others. The old man’s morals were nice, having optimism even in the face of ridicule and despair. Bell couldn’t help but admire Ezō’s stubborn pride to keep his smile.

Once he gotten back from a trip and asked for Ezō — to check up on the old man—- no one had seen him since that morning. Bell checked everywhere he thought the old man would be and was alarmed to see his office in a mess. Ransacked, broken in by the window, is what he believed and was about to leave when he heard a tiny hiccup underneath the piles of fur the old man was suppose to check on. He looked into the pile furs and found a tiny toddler doe shifter, frightened and staring back at Bell with a crumpled note in her hands. He cradled her down and told the workers of his findings, reading the note outloud.

’Keep the White Stag alive.’ is what’s written in the bloodied note.

Bell asked for some of the men to search for Ezō while the rest of the guild continued to work and looking after the small toddler. A few mistakes here and there, but eventually, Bell got a hang of how to look after others, forcing himself to make sure the guild is still working just in case Ezō is still alive. It took months to finally find the old man and, to everyone’s horror, he was skinned. His white pelt and antlers being sold to the highest bidder in the black market.

Ever since of the news, Bell took hold of the Guild master position. Just wanting to keep it alive long enough for Melon to inherit once she is old enough and understands how the trade works.

Misc. Things:
Melon’s name || Bell was the one who named her Melon after discovering that she loves eating them. Watermelon, Dew melon, Winter melon— any melon, she will love them. Later on in her life, she commented that Bell is not good at naming people, but she does love her name.

Smoking pipe || Bell’s pipe is made by mithril, stronger yet lighter than steel. Shaped to be an eastern dragon with it’s mouth open. Which is perfect for him whenever he needed to knock out someone with a swing and smoke after. Gifted by Ezō.

Name: Iantje Hani
Age: 158
Sexuality: Asexual
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Species: Dryad
Status: Wanderer
Occupation: Yan’thi Merchant
Appearance: Dark eyes and hair, average height. She adorns her person in jewelry, stolen or otherwise, along with colorful travelling robes making up the image of a flamboyant merchant. Underneath, one could make out incredibly dry skin, that upon closer inspection is not unlike tree bark.

Misc. things: She is really careless when it comes to concealing her identity when it comes to trading with non-magic folk. She has a penchant for causing discord among magic and non-magic folk, often getting involved into fights with them

Likes: Hoarding trinkets and flashy jewelry, plants, especially trees and animals

Dislikes: Fires and people who tend to disrespect nature, her own recklessness and inability to come up with better disguises

Personality: A persuasive businesswoman, charismatic and confident might not be as far off from her actual personality. Iantje is more than capable of bending anyone around to do her bidding, if only thanks to promises of hefty rewards and boundless gratitude. Unfortunately, Iantje is haunted by a deep hatred for humans, considering them inferior, unnecessary; a view which she does not keep to herself, rather choosing to openly display it, at the same time struggling to keep it separate from her business. It should be obvious where her royalties lie, yet never proven.

Background: Iantje was born a wandering spirit at heart. Born from a lone old oak tree, her life had started off dull, uneventful. When she grows tired of her stagnant lifestyle, Iantje sets out to travel, finally leaving the safety of her tree.

She joins a merchant caravan made up of merchants of various races. She soon learns about her companions’ disdain for humans, based on their various encounters with them, in the trading industry or otherwise. According to them, they didn’t have much of a choice in regards to how they viewed humans, because they themselves hated folk unlike them.

Perhaps Iantje hadn’t believed them until she witnessed their cruelty herself: the caravan she was travelling with was set afire in the dead of the night, killing half of them and scattering the rest, the harshest way for her to open her eyes to the ever present conflict plaguing the country, subtle but equally terrifying. To this day, she regrets not killing even one of the perpetrators, running away instead.

Having travelled with them for a long time, Iantje knew quite a bit about trading and managed to get by, selling anything to anyone, haggling, negotiating.

It was difficult to admit, but perhaps the deaths of the people she viewed as a family and the prolonged separation made her world a colorless one.

There was also the issue that, as time passed, her hatred for humans was slowly rooting itself inside her mind, to the point where she could no longer sit still and watch them carry on their lives.

Her anger reaches new heights beyond her control eventually: she can’t help but revel in harming others in the end. Inevitably, Iantje loses track of what is wrong and right, her views being reduced to mere black and white. She is not above stealing artefacts and selling them again for higher prices, selling cursed items or scamming people.

As not all trades are always successful, the backlash she received when a heist of hers was exposed only seemed to fuel her hatred. It was all to her disadvantage as she often failed to conceal her inhuman characteristics, namely her wooden body. For that, Iantje comes to believe that the Darkness might just save her by finally ridding the world of humans. She is simply helping by speeding up the process.

Abilities: Floral Conjuration: As a dryad, Iantje is capable of growing and bending plants, provided the area she uses her ability on is fertile. The better the soil, the faster the plants will grow (or might not grow at all on sand or rock). She is most proficient in growing oak trees, the type of wood she herself is made out of. Her skill is limited to the typical plants found in forests and plains.

Illusion of a Mask: A technique she developed to conceal the most prominent traits that would give her away as a dryad, the wooden aspect of her face, she creates an illusion that makes her appear as a human. Unfortunately, in order to conserve as much energy as possible and maintain her disguise, only her face is concealed at all times.

*This Illusion drains little energy that over long periods of times becomes a significant hindrance, leaving Iantje exhausted, as she recovers energy by sleeping. Since she is too far away from the tree she originates from, her regeneration ability is almost null.

Wooden Body: Burns or limbs lost to fire do not regenerate. As her body is made out of oak wood, it behaves as such: branches grow around her arms or legs which, when severed cause great amounts of pain. One advantage of the wooden body is invulnerability to physical damage, in turn making magic attacks more effective.

Name: Kressar Allard
Age: 20
Sexuality: Bisexual
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Species: Human
Status: Royalty
Occupation: Prince of Writhshade

Personality: It’s rather difficult to tell what kind of personality Kressar has. Some say he does not have one at all. Others say that out of all of the Allards, he’s more like a machine rather than an actual person. To his own people, his personality is a mystery beyond the stoic and composed mask that betrays no real emotion. To his family, Kressar is cruel and he is selfish. He cares not for his siblings, perhaps neither for his very parents. Since the kingdom’s war-hungry ways had been ingrained into him from the very beginning, that is what he has grown to believe: besides the continuity of their kingdom, nothing else matters and anything can and will be sacrificed to ensure their survival (except for himself). Kressar puts his duty above anything else and disregards the rest. This has left him with poor emotional intelligence, unable to discern anything about a person’s limitations or feelings (except for his own, few and fleeting as they are).

Backstory:
He received the traditional Spartan training any soldier of the Writhshade army would. It didn’t affect him as much as one might’ve initially expected. Instead, the propaganda seemed to do the job instead, making out of his younger self an obedient child that never went out of his parents’ word and did just as they said, singing along to their tune.

He tried his hardest to embody the image of a perfect son (as twisted as it was), because he, truthfully, looked up to his parents, truly considered them earnest, for wanting what is best for their kingdom, for them (although the latter was a lie he often told himself). Thus, being the obedient and diligent child they expected him to be, he proves early on that he has great potential- especially in hand-to-hand combat- and his parents can rest easy.

Even though they missed a little tidbit on their son’s personality: he was selfish. Everything he did, he did because it suited him. Listening to his parents made him less susceptible to committing acts they disapprove of, for one.

He spends his teenage years trying to prove he’s a resource far too good to dispose of (to sacrifice). He assisted in apprehending dangerous criminals, attended all of his father’s meetings, chimed in at the right moments, told people what they wished to hear. As the Darkness seems to rear its head around their kingdom, he starts displaying a slight change in demeanor. His views lean towards being almost radical, he openly displays bloodlust- a wish being replaced by a need to get rid of all the criminals.

Soon, a rumor starts to spread about the prince, that he himself had been consumed by the darkness, but no ones come forward to prove or disprove it, his actual personality remaining shrouded in mystery.

Abilities: Meteor Hammer: since he was never particularly fond of swords, or long-ranged weapons and projectiles, a mid-range weapon like this was perhaps the best choice he could have made in terms of weaponry, although it is not considerate the most dignified.

Illusionism: He is capable of manipulating other’s senses, but he is mostly specialized in visual illusions. An odd restriction to this ability is the fact that it does not work at all in darkness.
