IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE

Your character absolutely cannot have red hair. The only ones who can have red hair are Dragon Wardens, and they do not exist for you to play in this plot. If I see you post a CS that has a character with red hair, you will not be accepted.


If you want to play a Tainted or a Shae, you must PM me first and explain to me why you are interested in playing the race. Those who play Tainted must accept that their character is Kill on Sight, and must also understand that I, as the GM, can kill off your character without warning.


You are responsible for having your character fit within the plot. Your character must want to help aid in ending the Dark Army threat. If your character doesn't care or would rather work alone, they probably won't fit in too well.

    Name: Keitas Rynn (Usually refered to as just "Keit", pronounced "Kite")

    Appearance: She is a rather startling beauty given the harshness of the environment in the last few decades. Tall, with a regal bearing, she stands alert and prepared to fight at any moment's notice. Her armor is plated very narrowly and, though some may claim this would weaken the defense it was intended to do, it must be this way to allow her the flexibility to move freely in combat, using her double-headed spear (same as to the picture, only a few feet longer, thicker, and both ends have a spear head) as a tool to perform acrobatics to gain height over her enemies one moment, then come crashing down to impale them the next, or spin in one of her many deadly dances to fend off larger groups. Her hair is caught in a ponytail to one side, and her dark eyes stare out in an almost amused, if not challenging manner.


    Personality: Keit is a plainly serious, blunt, and almost predatory individual to those who first meet her. However, under the almost sickeningly catlike persona on the outside, she proves to be extremely protective of those she is assigned with, and a deadly force to be reckoned with if betrayed. To those who have known her for a good deal of time, they know she will stop at nothing to complete any assignment given. The results may be attained through some rather crazy means at times, but she will still meet the end goal as promised.


    Strengths: Fast, flexible, fierce, fearless


    Weaknesses: Too quick to put herself in danger for others, intimidating, predatory, fearless

    Race: Human - Baladuri



    Appearance:
    War-scarred face and hard-trained body, Shaira does not come across as a delicate being of any kind. Rather than that, she embodies the fierceness of the North, and perhaps, to some, the indistinct beauty that such strength and brutality brings. Athletic and standing with a surprisingly slim yet powerful Northern physique, Shaira was born and raised in disastrous climates and has accommodated to it. Leather straps and the hide of beasts adorn her as a mantle, with several pieces of Northern-engraved steel strapped, boiled and hammered into the thick leather. Deep, grey eyes often stare vacantly into the distance or ... towards the ground; the two, deep scars on the front of her face serving as naturally served intimidation. Whilst regarded a beauty by the Baladuri, the cultural perspective of other magical and non-magical beings may think otherwise, depending on their taste.


    Personality:
    Despite her harrowing appearance, Shaira is most probably the most innocent, shy and friendly individual that you will ever come across. She tends to not make eye-contact, stammer and stutter, as well as hesitate at every action. This lack of confidence truly does not fit the outer persona. She is usually quite apologetic and polite despite her barbaric background and culture, and only seems to reluctantly fuse herself with it on the battlefield. Furthermore, she has an incredibly hard time declining requests on letting herself be heard, being much more of a follower than a leader.

    Appearance: Jadzia stands tall at 5' 10" and weighs around 145#. She has straight, blonde hair that comes just past her shoulders. She wears clothing and leather/hide armor typical of the Muld: unadorned and uninspiring in color, the drab brown and red highlights are the only indicators of Jadzia's connection to her Muld ancestry. Her steel-grey eyes can be piercing as Jadzia exudes confidence in herself and her abilities. Jadzia's voice is slightly deeper than one might imagine and has a Slavic accent.


    Personality: Having not had much exposure to the world outside of her community, Jadzia can often come across as something of a snob. Although she has found disagreement with her elders, Jadzia thinks that what she does is often the right course of action even if that runs counter to her upbringing. She is of strong character and fearless in the face of danger; quick to anger yet has the wisdom to admit her faults.

    Appearance:
    Young and fair, Wyn is in essence grace imparted to form. In her features, she possesses a quality of impish youth, most evident in her round, pale face. A nose, more knob than hook and full lips measure out the lower portion, while large hazel eyes beneath light brow and long, dark lashes make up the upper portion. Her ears, long and tipped stick out beneath hair the color of wheat, a mess of waves intricately braided and long, reaching the small of her back.


    Her form is tall and full, womanly curves in both bust and hips, with long, slender legs and arms, ending in delicate hands. She tends towards plain clothes in shades of greys and blues, as well as a thin, simple leather corset and a thick riding cloak with a hood.


    Personality: Wyn is a creature born of wishful thought and mischief - a curious nature imbued in her from childhood. However sprightly she may be, she is not entirely without focus. In spite of all she and her people have endured, her disposition rarely falters. Strong willed, young and impulsive, Wyn does not take well to orders and can be quite defiant when told something exceeds her grasp, but ultimately what she sets her mind to, she does with absolute scrutiny, passion and dedication.


    She knows little of the world outside of her home and consciously, she is drawn to the idea of humankind, captivated most particularly towards those things about which she is uneducated. Contrary to the sentiment of the vast majority of her people, she finds humanity attractive and is particularly fascinated by the concept of their rounded ears.

    Appearance:
    Vallen is a lean, muscular Male Vuaturi with bluish-gray skin and light blue eyes. He stands at 5'9", and weighs 165 pounds. His facial features are well-chiseled and have not changed in centuries, due to his race's beautiful and long-lived nature. He wears a custom-tailored suit of armor, made of leather and lightweight, sturdy metal, the chest, arms, gauntlets and shoulders of which are more heavily reinforced than the rest. it's built for a strong balance of protection and mobility in battle. Resting about his shoulders and down his back are long tresses of pure white hair, tied into several braids where it ends, tucked behind his elfish ears at nearly all times. Along his arms and across his chest and back are the traditional tattoos of his people, that glow a bright purple when channeling Arcane magic, but they are usually covered by his armor. About his waist he usually wears a sheathed ornate Longsword, and a belt fitted with several pouches of varying size and shape, in which he keeps essential supplies.


    Personality:
    Vallen tries to take logic and prior knowledge into all considerations, especially when dealing with people. He endeavors to leave judgments based on race, gender, appearance and such out of the equation, and underestimate no one, nor decide one is a potential enemy unless allied with the Dark Army. That being said, he has strong moral ideals based on honesty, equality and using one's intelligence and reason to solve problems, and believes that is the right way to approach most things; Not out of arrogance, mind you, but because he truly believes it is the most intelligent way to go about living. He often prefers to speak only when spoken to, unless he believes he has something of value to add to a conversation, considering respect for others motivations and ideals before speaking his mind at most times. He is not adverse to conversation however, and is often very interested in what others have to say due to his curious nature. One can tell if Vallen enjoys thier company by how interested he seems to be in thier culture, hobbies, ideals and such. His tendency to ask questions and take notes on many things may seem almost childish to some, but to him more knowledge is always a good thing, no matter what about. He can get along quite well with nearly anyone as long as they do not refuse to tolerate him due to his race, or the fact that he is a magician. He does not tend to judge based on such things, so as long as one keeps such judgements to themselves he can assimilate with nearly any party quite easily. He tends to be brutally honest at times, especially when asked to state his opinion, but he does not mean ill by it.


    Strengths:
    Above-average ability to rationalize and think quickly, tolerant and understanding of others, honest.


    Weaknesses: Tendency to obsess about things he does not understand, sometimes unnecessarily honest, quicker to judge those that hate magic or his kind.

    Appearance: Arun is muscular and tall, standing at 6 feet and weighing 180lbs. He has straight dark brown hair that goes to the start of his neck as well as a defined jawline. His eyes are a piercing golden-brown color, which is somewhat unique from the majority of the other Sur's. He keeps a slight stubble along his chin and jaw, and has a tall nose as well as pale pink lips. He has a tattoo of a dragon along his abdomen as a representation for the faith and respect he still has for the Dragon Wardens. However, he keeps it well-hidden underneath his shirt after they were deemed a threat and hunted down. Arun is generally clad in a strong yet flexible armor when he goes off to battle or sets off on a trip, always equipped with his faithful dual daggers that his parents crafted for him.


    Personality: Arun's personality is similar to that of the earth, the element of which he has the most attunement to. He is strong-willed and keeps a relaxed exterior, remaining stable and reliable in most situations. He is quick to make decisions, able to stay calm in emergencies and think quickly to adapt to sudden changes. Decisions come easily to him because he doesn't waste a lot of time trying to weigh every single option. Where others might be bogged down on making choices, Arun is quick to analyze and select a course of action.


    In addition, he is logical and practical, preferring a methodical approach to solve problems. Because of this, he may come off as insensitive since picking up on others' feelings is certainly not his strong suit. He is also very stubborn and steadfast in his decisions, as once he has made up his mind, it is almost impossible to convince him otherwise. Extremely loyal and caring towards those he cares about, Arun would do anything to protect his loved ones.

    Name: Godric Bjorkson III (BEE-york-sun)

    Appearance:
    Standing at 6’4” tall and without much flesh sitting between his skin and bone Godric does not slouch, rather he carries himself with the posture befitting a soldier. Eyes which once shimmered bluer than the sky now only glimmer a soft shade of grey, in this same regard, his once full head of dark, auburn hair has become thinned with age. He is a simple man both in his tastes and appearance. His ears are too large for his head while the rigid perfection of his jawline is betrayed by the unfortunate egg-shape of his head. The only ones who seem to appreciate the mustache which grows neatly trimmed just below a nose (a nose rounder and just a bit plumper than it ought to be) are his daughters. He squints when he smiles - so much so that one may wonder how he sees at all, though this assumes they are not taken aback by the startling luminescence of his polished teeth seemingly made of snow. Though Godric is aware of the goofiness he perpetuates due to his natural features this does not discourage him, rather he wears a helmet a size too small for no other reason than when he had first put it on his youngest daughter had laughed herself to sleep. “Good luck it is, ye know,” He had told his wife.


    Upon his shoulders and chest lies thin steel just strong enough to brush off close quarter strikes though too flimsy to be of much help against an arrow or thrusted sword. This same metal is bound to leather strapped to his forearms and wrists; the leather base extending to the first joint of each finger. He wears a cup beneath his sturdy, thick cargo pants and brandishes a fine spear which he has held for nearly 20 years.


    Personality: Godric is not a particularly intelligent man, however his fighting prowess and skill with the polearm are things to be admired despite his age. One would likely not suspect him to be a man capable of killing another, let alone one polished in the art. He is kind to all those who his commander does not tell him to kill; to the condemned, unfortunate souls Godric grants a swift death. The love he holds for his three daughters and his son, the youngest, is his greatest source of strength and serves to strengthen his good-willed nature. To be smiled at by such a man is to be looked upon with love, while to be looked at with contempt is a near impossibility.


    Strengths: Kind, Charismatic/Likable, Agile


    Weaknesses: Unintelligent, A very average fighter with weapons aside from a spear, Aging

    Appearance:
    Kharon looks a little different from a usual orc. While orcs are known to be massive and muscular, Kharon is a little shorter, only about 5'11" and weighs only about 168 lbs, and he had a leaner, but still quite muscular, figure than most orcs. He keeps his hair long, with a goatee to match, and his skin is the same green color as the other orcs. Another distinguishing feature of his body is his ears. It is longer than normal, bearing a resemblance to the ears of the elves, though Kharon can assure you that he has no elf blood. It may have been a mutation, or it may be due to some incident in the past.


    Kharon's choice of clothing also sets him apart from other orcs. While most orcs wear armors and such, he prefers lighter clothing that are easier to move in. He wears a dark blue sleeveless tunic over a white shirt and leather pants paired with soft soled leather boots. He also has a couple of pouches on his waists as well as a leather knapsack over his back. He also wears leather bracers, a small knife hidden underneath each bracers. He can often be seen smoking his pipe, the content of it unknown to anyone but him.


    Personality: While most orcs prefers honorable combat and fighting prowess, Kharon favors underhanded tricks and sneak attacks more. One look at him and you'll realized that he's not your ordinary orc. He hates the militaristic life most orcs lead which is why he decided to live among the humans instead, but that doesn't mean that he is physically weak. He is quite greedy and will do anything for gold, though he would much rather steal the gold from you. He has little honor and will steal from most people, but not from ladies though. He is a very convincing liar and will spout lies one after another to get what he wants. He is also quite the adrenaline junkie, he often jumps from building to building just to have some fun and even engages in brawls just to feel some thrill.


    Despite these he has some redeeming qualities. He is pleasant to be around with. He is an eloquent person and has quite a sense of humor. He considers himself quite a gentleman, refusing to steal from ladies. He is also quite intelligent, though he doesn't display it often. He is shrewd and cunning, using his wits to survive rather than relying on brute strength. He is a better talker than most orcs, and some humans, and is obviously better groomed. He almost seems very human, well, except for the fact that he's obviously an orc. He is very friendly and he doesn't harbor any hatred or mistrust for anyone, even for magical beings. Well, he does harbor some mistrust to money lenders, but that's a story for another day.

    At nearly 6'5'' and 230 pounds, one would think most people would fear him. The many scars scattered around his body - especially his face and hands - show a past of fighting and war. But when they look into his light brown eyes they see the softness that is there and the gentleness that he holds. His clothes are the most striking thing about him, even for a Maldviri. Most Maldviri normally wear whites and golds and light blues - light colors that represent Light. And while Jasiri does wear white and gold, he wears mostly red and a number of dark gray and black material as well. This isn't because he is any less of the Inner Light, rather he likes to feel different. And red is his favorite color.


    Also unlike a lot of his Maldviri brothers and sisters, Jasiri doesn't wear a lot of jewelry or flashy accessories. His bracers are about the only thing that really stands out, because of his need for protection on his wrists and forearms for close ranged combat. He also wears a golden necklace with a vial of sand attached to it, but it's hidden beneath his clothing and robes. Perhaps the only other item he has that would stand out is his sword - a wicked cutlass with an intricately crafted hilt and a red gem embedded at the tip. The cutlass blade itself is always out of view when Jasiri isn't in battle, as it's sheathed in a light metal covering with strong hides wrapped around it. Some designs are sewn and etched into the sheath, though nothing of importance.


    Personality:


    Perhaps the one thing that people realize about Jasiri first is his reservations towards other people - especially those that are not Maldviri. The experience of the north is still rather new to him, and learning the culture and attitude of a completely new set of people is hard, let alone several at once. He is slow to voice his opinions when in a group of people. However, if you get him alone in a one on one conversation he is much more likely to open up and talk like normal. He isn't quite as evangelical as the teachers of the Light.


    He is also very protective of other Maldviri people and children and hopeless people, such as the poor or the elderly. He's even more protective of his friends and family.


    Jasiri is also a pretty calculating and cunning individual when it comes to relations with others and situations that could turn into a fight. He prefers to watch and analyze. He'll likely be in the back, gathering information to respond to either physically or vocally. If he were to play a game of poker - which is against his beliefs - he would excel.


    And, because of his belief in the Inner Light, Jasiri is a very reverent and kind person. Though he struggles with his belief at the current time because of the death of his siblings, he still believes. He also knows that everyone struggles with something when it comes to their beliefs and their attitude and actions. Jasiri's struggles comes with his extremely strong ability to hold a grudge and his short fuse when it comes to dealing with Shadow Casters.


    Strengths:


    High Pain Tolerance - Jasiri is one of those people that doesn't respond to pain on the same level as others do. He has a thick skin, which can be said for both his physical and mental being. Kicks and punches phase him about as much as mean words and insults do, which is to say almost not at all. Flesh wounds and threats against him are on the same level - he hears them and he will respond, but it may not always be the expected response. Deeper cuts like stab wounds, and actions taken against his friends or family will always result in an immediate aggressive action, though even with this aggression Jasiri is careful.


    High Strength - Through his many years of training as a warrior of the Inner Light, Jasiri is very strong physically and mentally. The strength in his legs allows him to run fast, the strength in his arms lets him hit hard. The strength of his mind means he can think fast and analyze problems quickly.


    Heart of Light - Jasiri was brought up with the Inner Light from a young age - not much younger than most, but a young age nonetheless. Because of this, he felt it was his duty to become a warrior of the Light to protect the Light and his people and others against the Shadow. His heart will always be softer towards children and those that cannot protect themselves or are less fortunate than himself.


    Weaknesses:


    Shadow of a Doubt - Because of the recent deaths of his siblings at the hands of Shadow Casters, Jasiri struggles with the morals of the Light. He still believes, but he questions his own faith and the purpose of the Light after such a dark and treacherous act. Because of this his own Inner Light is weaker. He may not reach his full potential in battle - either by not being able to completely heal an ally, or because he might be wounded by Shadow Magic. He is still resistant to it, just not as much.


    Unwavering Stance - When Jasiri reaches a conclusion with something, he sticks with it until he is proven wrong. He is an extremely stubborn individual and almost never lets up on his beliefs. This can be good at times, but it has proven to be mostly bad for him. For instance, he believes that an endangered desert creature should not be killed for food because if it is, the species will die out. And if he needs to, he will protect the creatures with all but his life. This can get him hurt, though hopefully not killed...


    Internal Turmoil - Also because of the recent deaths of his siblings, Jasiri holds a powerful and inextinguishable grudge against any and all Shadow Casters and anything having to do with Shadow. He will stop at nothing to exact his revenge on those that killed his siblings - even if that means his own life is taken in the process. When Shadow Casters are brought up, Jasiri is immediately brought in a state of heavy anger. Occasionally he is able to calm himself using his Inner Light, but that may not be possible when he confronts a Shadow Caster. Blind rage would ensue and only their blood would be able to stop him.

    Appearance: Krizal is a standing tower of strength and determination. With an exceeding large, stocky frame and a height of 6'3", it impossible to miss Krizal in a crowd. Full of muscle, Krizal contains everything needed to be a man of action. Yet, behind Krizal's intimidating exterior lies a more nuanced interior. A man can lose himself staring into Krizal's eyes, seeing a lifetime upon lifetime of pain, suffering and anguish. Krizal is a man who has lost those closest to him - family, friends, and even acquaintances to the passage of time. When times are calm, it is easy to spot the tired, exhausted look on Krizal's face. Exhausted not because he is physically tired, but emotionally drained.


    Personality: A dominant figure, many would think Krizal a man of quick, and rash, action. Yet, appearances can be deceiving. Oh, there are times when Krizal can move to rash action when it is called for, but by and large he is an observer, a person who would prefer to listen to a conversation than be a part of it. Krizal does not need to speak for others to know of his power.


    Krizal speaks often of the Inner Light, displaying the power that it grants him frequently. The Inner Light is Krizal's morale compass, the guide which determines how he will act in a given situation, regardless of the other circumstances, including the law. Truly, to his core, Krizal cannot do an action which he would deem as impure. His belief in this value is so strong that it can paralyze him to inaction if there is a chance the act would not align with the Inner Light. Krizal is deeply, deeply rooted in his convictions.
