With a mouthful of golden spoons, Anamaria was born to Dragomir Constantin; a Prince of Romania, and Duke of Dobrogea. Dragomir became an influential forensic pathologist, seemingly obsessed with morbidity at an early age—taking a keen interest in dead things. In fact he preferred the silence of working with the bodies to the nonsensical mortal chatter; the only conversation he enjoyed with the living happened to be with the mother of Anamaria, Amirah Al Ghul. A professor from Morocco, who taught students to speak Arabic in Constanta, Romania. She was elegantly beautiful, a commoner with a brilliant mind.

The young princess was born a cold night on the winter solstice. An unexpected occurrence it was, when her mother pushed out a second daughter; Willa, her fraternal twin.

They had not moved to Vermont for her father’s preferable career position until she was ten years of age. Thus, she remembers little of Romania during childhood. When the family moved, they did so without Willa, as the young girl had disappeared two years prior. Tucked into bed, on a warm summer night; the next morning she was gone.

The girl had wanted the warmth of her father, after having a nightmare and so she went knocking at his study door. Anamaria woke up soon after, groggily rubbing her eyes as she peered over the thick quilts, at her younger sister—by only a few seconds.

Assuming it was another nightmare, Anamaria followed after, powdery socks against cold hardwood.

Swinging open with great force, doors thick and heavy. In the next instant, the burly man she would never see the same way again went knocking into the girl’s small frame. Do not disturb me—girl! he sneered, the bitter scent of brandy reaching Anamaria, who had been hiding around the corner of dark walls. He used as much force as he did when opening those doors, or greater. Until she stopped breathing. Seemingly, it had been a mistake. Riddled with apathy, his deep voice reverberated throughout their halls, repeating Willa’s name.

She covered her own mouth, then. Closing her eyes, Anamaria crept back around and up the stairs, climbing back into bed. Rigid, and trembling as if a chill had entered the magnificent room. Anamaria was not particularly the religious sort, but the night he committed the sin that took Willa away from her, she silently prayed for her sister. Devoid of a voice. That was how he wanted it to be, and so it was. Never did she speak of it.

Young then, she remembered that next morning clear as day. The authorities were called, Anamaria said nothing to them. After the tragedy of that night, she was never the same. Shortly after, her mother did eventually make the decision to start therapy for the both of them. Her father, simply delved deeper into his beloved laboratory at the morgue.

Therapy had little to no effect on the young princess, as she refused to speak about the events. There was a point in her late childhood when she had to be committed, spending a few months in the finest psychiatric ward for minors Romania had to offer.

And he stopped, then. No longer did he create blotches of violet on her flesh, pretty paintings in all places inconspicuous, simply out of hatred for her. Blistering showers were the only carrier of relief Anamaria knew for a while.

The search for Willa ran from the morning of her disappearance, well into two years later; they were already packed up to leave for the States.

A conquest had been chosen by her father. A small, charming town in the middle of nowhere Vermont, where he could domineer over the residents and grace such a place with the presence and expertise possessed by a man of his esteem.

Anamaria took fingers to the glass and wiped away the misty sight, revealing a trembling little girl who should have gone running to her mother. She would have, if not for her fear of her father and what he would do to them if they tried to leave. No longer, was she devoid of a voice, yet she never told a soul. She couldn’t stand to lose her mother, who she loved dearly, at the hands of that man—and she couldn’t stand to fray the threads she called family. It was all she had.

After graduating from Stratton Mountain, a private school in Vermont—she was accepted into Horizons Academy as a pre-veterinary, majoring in biology and minoring in dance.

    There are many things Aria fears even though she wishes there weren't. One of the biggest though is being alone. She grew up without her parents and has felt lonely ever since, which, weirdly enough, is why she takes so much time to herself. Aria believes that if she can train herself to be used to being alone, it won't be so bad when she inevitably goes through the rest of life that way.
    

    Even though it's assumed it was someone with a lesser background that killed her parents, Aria doesn't discriminate against those poorer than herself. In fact, she's been known to make donations to homeless shelters and even give people on the street money. Her parents always taught her to be kind and caring to those and need, and that lesson stuck with her even after they were gone.

    Aria grew up in a surprisingly loving home for such a well-off family. Raised in a penthouse in the heart of London, the girl was always doing or learning something new. Whether that be the piano or painting portraits, her parents wanted to be sure she knew all of the different forms of art to prepare her for taking over their fashion label when she grew up. Aria soon found that her favorites were sketching and singing, which is how she got the nickname ‘songbird’ as she would always be found singing around her house. The name was mainly used by her father, Conrad as he always asked her to perform in front of family, friends and even associates. Aria loved the attention from both her father and their guests, solidifying the fact that she was indeed a ‘Daddy’s Girl.’
    
    Not all things can stay good though, and Aria’s life would soon change for the worse. When she was eleven she had gone to a sleepover at a friend’s home, it being one of her first times staying somewhere other than the penthouse. While she was away, a thief crept into their home and robbed them of material things and murdered both her mother and father. The morning after her sleepover, one of their maids, Maria, came to pick Aria up and bring her home. When they arrived though, they were met with a bloody scene and a messy home, leading Aria to find her slaughtered parents in their bed.

    Even though things had been stolen from the scene, the thief was never found, which only made it worse in Aria’s eyes. She still had wealth though, and her father’s sister soon took over in raising the child until she became old enough to lead the company. Aria, though well taken care of by her aunt, fell into a depression and filled her mind with designs instead of music. If she were to take over the family business one day, she had to be ready. Besides, if her father wasn’t around to build up his little song bird, what point was there in singing?
    
    As a teenager, Aria continued in her designing era, beginning to sew after being gifted a machine from her aunt. The company heads noticed the promising designs she was churning out and began producing them, but not under her name as she was still a minor. Instead they used an alias, and a familiar one at that; songbird. It was the new line’s name and one that Aria begged them not to use. She had nothing to do with music anymore and she certainly didn’t want that to be a part of her newfound love for fashion.

    While it was a successful launch and made more money than she could’ve ever imagined, Aria was disgusted with the way they used her father’s nickname. She fired the heads of the company and placed her aunt in charge and they worked together to produce gowns, blouses and other luxurious clothing items for the wealthiest of people.
    
    Now in her early twenties, Aria is nearly old enough to take over the business that her parents left her. While it is intimidating, she’s excited to see her vision through and make the company more than just luxury clothing. She wants to sell street clothing as well at a reasonable price, which is something her aunt isn’t so sure about. Recently they’ve been butting heads more than usual, and unbeknownst to Aria, her aunt is trying to keep the company for herself.

    To those who don't know Aria, she could come off as pompous and maybe even a little cold, however, that's just because she's always floating around different ideas in her head. She's an incredibly creative individual, whether that involves designing or music. Ideas pop in and out of her head rather quickly, so she has a designated note in her phone to keep track of all of them, even the bad ones.
    
    Due to her parents murder, she has diagnosed depression and anxiety, which she tries to not let hinder her too much. There was a point in time where she refused treatment, but now she advocates for mental health and uses her own experiences to show how much therapy and medicine can help. She's extremely caring and wants what's best for others, even if it may hurt her in the process. Aria has been called a doormat by both her aunt and members of the board, but it's all for the sake of the lessons she was taught by her parents.
    
    Her deepest desires are to please her parents which sometimes holds her back from her own wants and wishes, but to her it's worth it. She puts on a front of being strong, but only because she's never known anyone that she could let her guard down in front of. Aria is known to have a sarcastic side to her and has a laugh that's contagious if you can get it out of her. She's intelligent, sincere and knows how to hold her own if anyone wants to come at her.

  For most of her life, Artem kept a smile plastered on her face to warmly welcome in the public and any possible friends she’d make at school or while out on the town. As time moved on and she got older though, she began to learn that nothing is ever good enough. Her fake smiles were soon replaced with scowls and her bright eyes dimmed into a muted hue. The girl bit back at anything that could even be conceived as negative towards her, but would gladly join in if it was about her family. Sure, some of the rumors were fake, but they were still hilarious.
  
  Not knowing herself has created some self-esteem and confidence issues, but she covers them up with drugs and self-deprecating humor. Of course, she tells herself she doesn’t actually believe those things, but deep down she does. The girl has never had a friend, a lover or even an acquaintance that didn’t want something from her, so making any sort of connection with another student seems impossible.
  
  Artem practically survives on sarcasm, she thrives on teasing people, but has been known to take it a bit too far on days where she’s not completely herself. Artem doesn’t even know who she is, let alone when she’s not it. This school is supposed to turn her back into her old self, but even that wasn’t good enough… She’s here for a good time and plans to have it, just don’t get in her way.

  Princess Artem Eloise Elizabeth Halloway was born to a family of royals in Denmark. Henry, the second born son of the King of Denmark to be more specific. Artem was her father’s only child, and her mother died in childbirth unfortunately. This broke Henry’s heart, as he was lucky enough to truly marry for love. He had a picture of what his life with wife and child would be, of course in the ideal world he’d have a son and his wife wouldn’t have died but…. Perhaps his new daughter could fulfill another purpose.
  
  Due to her father’s wishes and her desperate need to prove herself to him, Artem attended finishing school and was everything but beaten during her time there. Of course the girl complained, hoping her father would hear her plea, but he wanted none of it. “Good girls stay quiet and do as they are told.” He’d scold, to which young Artem would nod her head before going to her room, terrified of where he’d send her next.

  As time went on, Artem grew up and grew into her big blonde hair and doe-like blue eyes which caused many hearts to flutter her way. Some hearts weren’t so true though and only liked her for her title, which she soon found out about during her first heartbreak at sixteen. This, plus her father’s inability to see her as anything more than a chess piece, is what made her cold and callous.
  
  It was all about her title. All of it. Everything. No one cared about Artem unless ‘Princess’ was right there in front of it. If someone liked her it was because she was royalty, if her father ever gave her the time of day it was because he needed her to do something to stay on good terms with the public and the family. It was such bullshit!
  

  third stage of life

  
  By seventeen, the girl had to do something or she’d have gone crazy. Locking herself away from the public seemed to be the best she could do. Artem would make required appearances and do what she was told, but there would be no more public outings to go shopping or to meet up with friends. No. Artem retreated into her bedroom and found a new friend in cocaine and rum. She wasn’t sure if anyone knew about her drug use, but in reality she didn’t exactly care either. Artem was doing her part, making herself and everyone else look good.
  
  It wasn’t until her grandmother, the queen, noticed her acting differently that any action was taken. At the queen’s command, her room was ransacked and packed up only to have her shipped off to an academy in Ireland for other royal young adults. Even after everything she had done, Artem had somehow made herself a liability and been shipped away once more. Well, if she’s already liable, why the hell not make sure it was worth it?

PERSONALITY: Unlike her brother, Tempest looks like she’d be a bitch (mostly because of her resting bitch face and seemingly cold demeanor); however, Tempest is a social butterfly that could make conversation with anyone. She couldn’t care less about status and who she’s talking to and thinks everyone deserves to be treated with kindness. She is the life of the party and always tried to look on the brighter side of life. She trusts people easily because she believes in the best of them and could literally befriend a stick. Tempest is very bubbly and talkative, but knows when to keep her mouth shut and become serious if the situation calls for it.

BACKGROUND (2+ PARAGRAPHS): Tempest was born into an opulent lifestyle, her mother being a billionaire fashion model/designer and her father an oil tycoon. Her father was born and raised in Moscow, Russia and inherited his family’s old money oil company while her mother was born in New York City into a luxury fashion house empire. The first few years of life, Tempest was mostly raised by an endless rotating cycle of nannies until she was old enough to get shipped to a pristine boarding school in Switzerland. At first, this devastated Tempest, her parents didn’t even care enough to go to events like her first dance recital, sports game, art show, things parents usually go out of their way for. Instead Tempest was lucky if her parents sent an assistant to give her flowers and take a photo or two.


Tempest thought if she did everything her parents wanted and was perfect, they would finally start to show up in her life. After all, they seemed to make a little bit of an effort for her brother Elysian with a few appearances a year at his various academic and extracurricular events. However, even when she was the lead soloist in ballet or president of her school class, they never cared. When she realized this, she begin to try to act out in an attempt to draw her parent’s attention (cliche, she knows). She tried everything from being caught partying to publicly protesting in events she knew would reflect badly on her parents. Unfortunately, that only got her a strict phonecall from her parents threatening to absolve her trust fund entirely if she kept embarrassing the family name. After that, she decided she would just live for herself, Elysian could be the perfect one if he wanted to. Tempest began making connections for herself, namely in the fashion world for modeling. She also maintained great grades and graduated president of her class in high school. Tempest is an adored socialite with millions of eyes soaking up her every move, look, and breath. The pressure can sometimes become overwhelming, but if Tempest wants to inherit her trust fund and hope to do something good for the world with her money, she has to play the game and play it well.

PERSONALITY: Elysian is the image of “calm, cool, collected”. He is on the quieter side and is rather observant of everyone and the world around him. He rarely shows large displays of emotions and seems to never be angry. He can come across as coldhearted and disinterested because of this, but he would do anything for the people he cares about. At social events or when needed, Elysian turns on his charisma and charm like the flip of a switch, becoming the perfect smooth talker his parents raised him to be to get what he wants.

His father, Aleksander Brekkr, had always wanted a son to inherit their oil company, a son who could continue on and grow the family name. Though he was born into a life of extravagance and wealth that normal people cannot even fathom, that life is a double-edged sword. It comes with a crushing set of expectations for how he must act, look, and behave with little to no freedom. His father and mother decided what education Elysian would receive, the extracurriculars and sports he would be in, what he ate, how he spoke, to whom he spoke, etc. Almost every aspect of his life was meticulously planned for him. For as long as he could remember, he had to be perfect in every way.

Elysian always envied his sister Tempest, his parents never turned their burning expectations and criticism towards her, she never seemed to witness or feel their scathing words or the sting of their father’s open palm when he was disappointed. Elysian just wanted to be free, hoped that one day his parents would be satisfied enough to leave him to his own devices. Elysian has never been able to relax, constantly afraid one drink too many or being seen with the wrong woman would bring his parents’ wrath. Now that Tempest will be attending the academy too (per his parent’s wishes of course), he has to ensure that she doesn’t misstep and cause any issues for his carefully curated image of perfection. His parents have made it clear that he is responsible for her during their time here and if she makes any mistakes, he will receive the punishment for it.

Rayne grew up the youngest of 4 children, knowing that she wouldn't get the throne since she was 4th in line. She was still raised to learn politics, diplomacy, her kingdoms history, financial affairs of her family, and much more. Her private tutor was probably one of her closest friends, as her parents didn't let her out much since there was no need when her siblings could protect the family image.



When she turned 13, her parents began allowing her to go with them on diplomatic trips, allowing her to finally meet different royal children and heirs to the throne, and she began to come out of her shell. In all of her years alone, she had studied human behavior out of interest, and now she knew how to read others. She began testing this knowledge on people she met, and started to find joy in people revealing their secrets to her. She grew confident in herself, and her parents were delighted at this. She was finally showing the traits of a "true royal".



When she turned 20, her parents decided that she had grown too self confident in herself, and since she was neglecting her studies, they began looking for a school to bring her back down to earth and teach her how to act like a proper lady. BACKGROUND (2+ PARAGRAPHS): Enzo is the son of King Raphaelo and Queen Colette of Spain. His mother is a member of the French royal family as well, giving him a place in line to both thrones. From a young age, Enzo has been groomed to perfection on how he must act as a member of the Spanish royal family. Every misstep he took, every fumbling of words, every wrong blink, resulted in a heavy beating from his father or several strikes of his cane across his back. Sometimes his father would just decide to make Enzo his personal punching bag if he was feeling stressed or angry and Enzo could never understand what he was doing wrong. His father was always careful to avoid Enzo’s face, however, so that no one would see any traces of the dark side to this family. Enzo was taught to just take it without uttering a word, then presenting the facade of a perfect family for the public.

When Enzo turned 6, his parents gave birth to another son named Francesco and Enzo vowed to protect him from the harsh hand of his father.   Poppy was born in the same hospital as many a monarch, including the Crown Prince of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and his younger brother. This alone cemented her place in society as a high one, not to mention her relation to one of the founders of one of the world's most important places of learning. As a toddler she was greatly doted upon by family members, especially her beloved grandfather Nelson, affectionately known as Papa.
  
  Poppy's sister Anthea was born when Poppy was two years old and almost instantly, Poppy took on the role of responsible and loving sister. Little Poppy was always a precocious child, intrigued with rough and tumble play (soiling her lovely dresses to her mother's dismay). Whenever the girls visited their grandparents, Poppy would always find time to sit on her Papa's lap and tell him grand fairy stories to his delight.   Starting secondary school was a challenge for Poppy due to her grandfather's passing, but due to the impeccable pastoral care at her new Private girl's school in London she managed to deal relatively well with being so far away from home with a school full of strangers. Poppy was popular at St. Magdalen's Preparatory School, especially amongst boys as she got older, due to her subtly flirtatious nature, but things were not so wonderful at home. At the age of fifteen she had discovered a five year long affair her father had been having. She was furious with him when she found out, but agreed to keep it a secret from her mother and Anthea only for the sake of their functioning as a family.   Alexei was brought up in a very ordinary and in his opinion, boring suburb of Sweden just outside of the capital city, Stockholm. Nothing ever happened there and he never had any particular troubles in his family life. He was raised by his father Magnus and his stepmother Linnéa after his mother Saga died when he was young.
  
  Alexei was too young for this to have a lasting affect on him although from what his father told him, he thinks of her fondly.

He'd much prefer to find a unoccupied corner in a room to read then party like some of the friends he had. He has such a love for his seclution that when he gets bothered he will likely come off as annoyed or even bitter. It's his spare time, no one else's, and if he wants to spend it someone he will.
  
  Cleanliness and perfection are two things that Atlas lives by every single day. He starts his morning routine off with his iced coffee and two chapters in the book that he was reading the night before, then breakfast, showering, and his favorite music. If he doesn't complete the daily routine it ruins his day or even sometime his week.
  
  Atlas loves to give gifts to his friends and spends his parents to do so. He always says "they shouldn't give me a credit card if they don't want me to use it." That was just justification for spending fifty-thousand dollars on his friends the in past three months.

  the first part of life (1-10)

  Atlas was born on August 28 in Los Angeles, California to Jameson and Victoria Lovelett. He was an accident as his parents were trying to build their accounting firm at the time but then as somethings in life are unexpected came Atlas, or what his parents called him Grayson. He loathed the name around the age of six, and start primarily going by his middle name instead because he thought it was more unique to him. But his parents refused to honor his request, so only his friends call him Atlas. When he started grade school he realized just how different he was from other boys. Other boys liked to go outside and get dirty and covered in mud, he was the polar opposite of that. He got more nervous around boys than girls, and would even pick on boys. He didn't know he was experiencing an attraction to the boys he picked on until many, many, many years later.
  

  halfway through it all (11-18)

  Middle school for Atlas was hell because he was coming to realization that he wasn't necessarily straight. During this time his parents accounting firm was growing rapidly into the one most saught out firms to do business with. Atlas's parents were very conservative and followed their religious values, being gay to them was unnormal but they still told him that they loved him and continue to support him even if they disagreed with his lifestyle. He was forbidden to tell his grandparents the truth and was constantly asked when he'd be bringing a girl home. He always told them that was focused on his studies. All his grandparents were gone by the time he started high school. He came out of the closet fully during his freshmen year of high school, and got his first boyfriend, but young love never lasts and that boy moved away. But their isn't a day that goes by that Altas doesn't ask himself 'what if?'

  Altas's parents decided that it would be best if he went away for school, and thus chose the one farthest away from the family business headquarters in Los Angeles. He is starting his first semester there soon, and Atlas is terrified of what being that far away from home is going to entail.

PERSONALITY Vic isn't an outgoing guy but he always tries to be friendly. He was born to a family that was lacking in a lot, kindness included, and actually put in the work to be emancipated before he was a legal adult. He's put in the work to have exceptional grades, and has developed a habit of pushing himself to far as well as being overly upset when he doesn't meet his own standards. He's struggled from time to time not to view those born with a silver spoon in a negative light, and can still have a hard time with empathy for the problems of those born into privilege. He's doing his best to push past the mentality but when it comes to rich people who look down on others for financial and social status, or those who can't see their own privilege and only focus on their entitlement, it can be a struggle. He can be self conscious about his own looks, and he struggles with accepting his own faults or lack of ability. It's especially difficult for him to handle his own failures in school after how much he has poured his own self esteem and escape from his old life into his grades, which can also cause a divide between himself and those who are to lazy or privileged to need to put all of the effort into keeping grades. He still likes to cheer people up, even if he isn't a fan of the person, just because he struggles to see someone in a bad place and walk away. By nature he's a bit of a romantic and can't help but think about someone's eyes or the way that they smiled at him. If someone is a hard worker with a passion for something and a kind heart he'll find himself stumbling, which can often lead to him turning into a puppy dog or even a bit of a doormat at the time.
BACKGROUND (2+ PARAGRAPHS) Victor was born to a classic close minded conservative family in a small town, and from an early age he knew he wanted to get out. Nothing he could do was good enough for them and he began to develop a lot of insecurities and people pleasing tendencies in an attempt to be what his parents wanted. He spent hours trying to study until he was top of the class, but every grade was hardly good enough until his grades were no longer the problem. Then he was in makeup, dresses, and everything feminine. He spent time trying to find how to be the perfectly polite daughter he thought they might want. Whatever he tried to do it was as if he was never up to the standard, and finally when he was in his early teens he made the decision to no longer depend on them. He was the only 14 year old picking up ay kind of work he could find, he spent his spare time working to keep his grades up. What little social life he had suffered immensely and his mental health plummeted, but no matter how difficult it was he had a goal. His people pleaser tendencies slowly declined as his new goal in life because to take care of himself. By 16 he was legally able to get a genuine job at a restaurant as a lower cook, and even with the minor labor restrictions he was able to save up enough to finally look into being truly independent, and took every college prep or AP course he could to help in his escape. By 17 he had made a decent position for himself in the restaurant and had worked up to an assistant manager, at which point he filed his petition for emancipation and began the steps he had been researching for so long. He found an apartment and was truly proud of himself for it all when his petition was granted. His first act of independence was to shave his hip length brown hair to an inch long. His second act of independence was to start looking at other cities for his new life. By the time he was 18 he found his new start in a city with no idea who he was. After his high school graduation he decided he needed to take time away from education, and even if he never returned to education he knew there was a lot to be proud of in his accomplishments, and a new chapter of his life to move into.
He started HRT just after his 18th birthday, and with his high school graduation behind him he used the extra free time to move from education to volunteering at the local soup kitchen to help him get comfortable in his new life. It's while volunteering there he met the Newman's, the upbeat and kind couple who took him under their wing. It was with them he first truly opened up about who he was and who he wanted to be, and they became his family. They helped him pick his new name, and happy tears were exchanged when at 19 after a lot of work to establish it, he announced his new identity as Victor and that he would use the name Newman. They helped him to move past some of his own self esteem issues, although there is still some sitting under the surface he tries not to let on to. He'd taken to calling them his parents and introducing them as such, and it was the Newmans who helped him find his next chapter. He had enough credits to cover a full year of his education already, and the Newman's had apparently found a somewhat established friend to pull just the right strings. He enrolled at 20 in a full time semester at his local college to give some recent grades to show, and with his usual dedication to perfection in the scholastic field he was able to do a nearly perfect year, paid for of course by every scholarship he could find and a small dip into his savings. By 21 through connections he didn't fully understand the Newman's had arranged to get him into the prestigious Horizons Academy. He struggled a bit with feeling like he belonged, and with Mrs. Newman's gentle reminders of his grades and achievements so far he was able to take advantage of the opportunity. At the age of 21 he enrolled, a year and a half behind the other students credit wise but repeatedly telling himself he could keep up with it.
