Structure:The Resistance tends to be organized into what they call "cells",which are zones with active Resistance presence. These cells would be fully commanded and governed by the Cell Chiefs,which are appointed by the Resistance High Command. The Cell Chiefs have full authority over the cells they command,which includes but not limited to:the planetary defence forces,the defending fleets,and even the civilian population.Due to the Resistance being cut away from each other,they rarely communicate, and the Resistance High Command only decides major military operations.
Military:Most of the Resistance military were trained by Han officers,who didn't expect the rebellion.As a result,the Resistance military is just as good as their Han counterparts,except that their equipment is inferior to what the Han forces have. The Resistance military is comprised of 35 billion Gorstak,50 billion Leth,18 billion Kapolek,4 billion Ratohan,20 billion Taogos,15 billion Des,and virtually all of the Renshou.
History:
Forced to fight
The New Han Empire's outward expansion into the stars also resulted in various species being uplifted into galactic society. As soon as the Empire's ships ventured out of Toth'Valai,the Gorstak was discovered in a nearby system.They were uplifted and given a lot of privileges by the Han government.However,newer races like the Terions and Dachar were unhappy about the privileges given to the Gorstak,as the Gorstak done little to contribute to the Empire's development,while the other races risked their lives for the good of the Empire. A plan was soon hatched to make the Gorstak fall out of favor of the Han authorities,and the Gorstak was framed for being behind a minor attack on one of the Empire's supply convoys.But things spiraled out of control.They were soon charged for treason,and the Empire began a genocidal war on the Gorstak.With their survival at stake,the Gorstak rebelled,which marked the beginning of the Resistance.
The Gorstak in Danger
As the Gorstak continues attempting to fight off the never-ending swarm that was the Empire,they were systematically exterminated system by system.The Gorstak numbers declined like a waterfall during the first year of the war,with their numbers reduced by 10%.But the death count didn't cause the Gorstak to crumble,it made the Gorstak fighter more resilient and more courageous in the battlefield.Gorstak resistance became more organized as they retreated from system to system,and the Empire's war machine became less efficient against the Gorstak forces.
The Resistance Grows
While the Gorstak fought for their own survival,they managed to contact various Han-controlled races that were agitating for independence.Although Gorstak diplomats tried to persuade them to join the Resistance,these races declined as they fear the might of the Empire.The Gorstak continued to fight alone for another 3 years,suffering heavy casualties in the process.The turning point for the Resistance was the glassing of Mul'sant,a major Gorstak military facility and also the gate to Tak'eti,the Gorstak homeworld.After loosing millions of men in the Siege of Mul'sant and having their schedule delayed by months,the Empire had finally decided the Mul'sant is more trouble than it's worth and ordered it to be glassed.Mul'sant was utterly destroyed,and the Empire prepared for the final charge against Tak'eti.While the Han authorities expect the other subordinate races to be more obedient in the future after the glassing of Mul'sant,the exact opposite happened.The disloyal races joined the Gorstak in their rebellion,as they were afraid that they will be exterminated without warning in case their insubordination was discovered.With the sudden increase in strength,the Resistance managed to repel the Han forces,even launching a full assault against the crippled enemy.
Operation Vengeance
With their recent victory over the Han forces,the Resistance saw the hope to topple the enemy for once and for all. A plan was devised by the Resistance High Command for a full frontal assault,with the intention of taking,or if the enemy proves to be too tough to handle:glassing of the Han capital,Toth'Valai. Code-named Operation Vengeance,the operation was believed to be able to destroy the heart of the enemy,and the Resistance High Command spent their time before the assult preparing to accept the inevitable Han surrender.70% of the Resistance forces will be participating in this operation,and the Han would be forced to fight on 5 fronts while an elite army makes it's way to Toth'Valai. But things didn't go well for the Resistance.A major choke point on their way to Toth'Valai is the Degosin homeworld,Wortan. Expecting to face minimal resistance at Wortan as most of the Degosin forces were stationed near Larak,the Resistance attacked Wortan to secure the path to the Han capital. However,the Degosin fought valiantly against the Resistance forces,causing a lot of casualties for the Resistance.This forced the Resistance High Command to dispatch additional troops to Wortan,and the operation was delayed. The delay proved to be deadly as the Han fleets decimated the Resistance forces on various fronts.Eventually,the Resistance forces were pocketed and separated from each other,resulting in their current state.

The Ratohan are a noble race that embrace the natural world.Their race may be one of spirituality, reverence for nature, and respect for elders, but it also possesses powerful warriors that willingly fight when the situation demands it.They strive to live honorable and dignified lives filled with respect for nature and the Earth Mother. Although strong and capable warriors when roused in battle, most ratohan reserve combat for when all other options are exhausted. As a result,their former overlords view them as more of a pain in the ass than a valuable ally .They prefer course of wise discussion and careful rumination before embarking on any great endeavor, and they have great respect for the wise, spiritual and elderly among their people. Psychology:
The Renshou psychology is similar to humanity,yet different in several ways.Their self esteem is low as they feel like they are nothing more than half breds created in labs.However,the younger generation of the Renshou doesn't face this problem as they were born via sexual reproduction.They also have traces of the Dachar and Leth personalities:They respect the strong and despise the weak,and hide their emotions from other people.
