Short backstory: When Oscar was first born, his parents were overjoyed to have given birth to a new angel while hoping to give him the best possible future imaginable. By the time he had turned 8, he had learned of his ability to manipulate the earth when he had accidentally caused a small boulder to hurl towards his home while playing in the grass one day. Once he had discovered this new power, his parents had begun training him to use his powers to the best of his ability. They found out that using negative emotions made his powers much stronger, so they encouraged him to take advantage of this to make his magic very strong. Unfortunately, this came with the side effect of Oscar having a short temper growing up and prone to bouts of anger when pushed too hard. It didn't help that his parents were very strict on him with things like chores and combat. This had reached its peak one day in his teenage years when he had nearly killed his parents in a large earthquake after an especially heated argument involving Oscar’s lack of friends and social life. This had ended with their home being destroyed and them having to relocate to another area. Oscar felt extremely guilty about what he had done and made a vow to himself not to let anyone get hurt from his power. His parents on the other hand, had to be hospitalized for weeks and never treated Oscar the same afterwards, becoming extremely cold toward him and yelled at him for the simplest mistakes.

Power: Flight, Earth Manipulation
Power description: Oscar Is able to connect his lifeforce with that of the earth and use it for a variety of purposes. Creating rock projectiles to throw at his opponents, Build shields made of earth to defend himself, summoning vines and plants for offense, etc.

Alongside this, Oscar is also able to achieve flight his wings. His parents had been much more focused on his earth abilities however, so he is not as experienced in flight. Despite these factors, he is skilled enough to fly in multiple directions without much trouble and is able to fly for about 30 minutes before he must stop to rest.

Special skill: Oscar is usually one to keep his stronger emotions hidden inside him, given his previous experiences. However, if he lets these emotions get the better of him(Anger, Hatred, Fear, etc) his powers can become much stronger as well as more sporadic and unpredictable. This can also drain a lot of his energy if left unchecked, and Oscar is currently practicing to have better control of his emotions in battle.

What kind of training: His family had taught him how to defend himself using his fists and earth powers, seeing as they didn’t trust him to use any weapons efficiently. Therefore, he is fairly skilled in hand to hand combat

How/Why are here: After finally turning 18, Oscar wanted to finally be away from his parents after being treated like an ostracized family member for so long. So he ran away with what little supplies he had(Some food and books to read) and stumbled upon a kingdom by the name of Morena. He was accepted into the palace on the condition that he would swear to serve the Queen and protect her by any means necessary.

Short Backstory: Lei was born in a foreign kingdom where her parents were high-ranked nobles. The first twelve years of her life, were rather comfortable. Her parents were obviously wealthy and, as their only child, she was spoiled. But the kingdom that she lived in was far from perfect, and was drenched in corruption and civil unrest. So, at the age of four, her parents began training her in martial arts as a safety mechanism. They fear that one day a rebellion would rise up and nobles like themselves would be the target. They were right.

Not long after she turned twelve years of age, rebel forces rose up against the noble families of the kingdom. In the dead of the night on a summer day, her parents were brutally murdered in their sleep. Lei, herself, had been woken up by one of her maids and a guard before those rebels reached her room. The three of them managed to escape through a hidden pathway in the mansion that had been built specifically for situations like this one. Her parents had arranged years ago that if something were to happen to them that Lei was to be taken to the Kingdom of Morena. Apparently, her mother had been born and raised there.

It is unknown to most what happened during that journey to the kingdom for when she arrived, she arrived alone. Upon arriving, she was taken in by one of the noble families who her parents had directed her to find. Through them, she managed to continue her training in martial arts, pick up the ways of swordsmanship, and solidify a place at court.

Short backstory: Adventure, warrior poet and a fool hardy idoit with far too much luck. All of these describe Maydria prefectly. She has traveled far and wide, to the golden shores of the venerable elven kingdoms, to high atop the peaks of forgoten moutains adorned with crumbling temples to long dead gods, to the darkest depths of the the Underlands and their countless wars even to entire cities filled with gigantic towers of steel and glass.
But she was once a courtier of a King's court and a childhood friend of the Princess Athena and her cousin Carmella. She and the King never got along, much to her guradian's dismay. He had very different ideas of how a lady should act and thought she was a courpting influence on young Athena. After a particularly savage row, Miss Erthadis gathered her most treasured belongings, brought a boat, said her goodbyes and left the kingdom entirely - she had always had a flair for the dramatics.

Now she returns to her birthplace, to answer the Queen's call.

Power description: She is capable of mildly bending reality (space-time if you want to be pedantic) and slowing down time from her prespective for short brusts (her movement speed is unaffected). She applies her powers subtly, twisting attacks that would otherwise hit her out of the way - making it seem as if she is just very lucky and hard to hit. Anything more extravagant would risk her life.
Special skill: Short-range teleportation typically masked by a smoke bomb
What kind of training: She is a remarkably exprienced duelist, wielding sword and gun in acord. The blade she wields is enchanted, to glow a fancy sliver blue when she swings it (and it's far sharper then most, but let's be honest that's not as important). Her magical powers have been fully incorprated into her combat style, letting her move around the battle feild with impunity and superhuman agility. She has a plethora of mundane and magical bombs stashed on her person (if she's going out, she's going out with a bang) and keeps and spare knife tucked into the back of her belt.
