IC is up but not Open
CS thread is up and Open. Any character approvals can be done here in the OOC
I do have a request with mods up for the transfer of world lore and the like.

Anyone who wishes to start working on their character can do so now using the CS provided in the Interest check thread. If there is anything in the CS that would require a little more knowledge of the World lore, maybe just leave it blank for now or make up your own and we can tweak and change to suit the lore as needed.

Also when creating characters I always suggest having a zero to hero mentality during the creating process. The RP proceeds in that way as well.

Historical Overview:
Overview: The Keeper Society is based upon the Worship and Reverence of Elegos' 5 Keeper Races, so named because legend says they existed before the arrival of Humankind and have cared for the planet for centuries. The Society is broken up into Five Factions, each of which represents a Keeper Race. Each of the 4 Land Domains has their centers of worship known Society Churches.

Also known by the title The Holy Alliance, this Faction represents the Worship of the Keepers of the Holyland. Little is known about them, infinitely more fables and legends than actual fact. These Keepers were said to be Human like in appearance, that they glowed with a soft light, that they were masters of Light and Darkness and that their Home was The Ethereal HolyLand ( The Center Circle of the World Map ) They were thought to be the Leaders of all the other Keepers.

The 3 Grand Cardinals:
They oversee all that is within the Holy Alliance. Each Cardinal is leader of a Grand Cathedral. The Arch Grand Cathedral located in Selkirk is location of convergence for the three.

ArchDiocese: Oversees Bishops and Deacons and manages the Trinity Order. They are mainly found in the Grand Cathedrals. They also oversee Regional Sectors and have Several Deacons under them

Deacon: Deacons are overseers of indoctrination, and head of Churches

Trinity Order: An order of devout individuals who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of one of the following Areas

Clerics: Healers and creators of medicines and alike
Templars: Protectors of Worship Centers and prominent Figures
Paladins: Specialized Knights trained to help others.

Very interesting character! I do like the direction its taking, if we can mold it to already existing lore it would be easier to approve, and the character will also need a motive for joining a mercenary guild. That is the opening setting, a bunch of new and old members creating a new team and going on assignments together.

I just started the OOC and have tracked most of the archived threads. I just need to see if moderators can move them to the extra pages section.

Goes without saying she will be adjusted to fit in lore. As for her motivation is that she could do more outside her order in terms of her duties to nature, she likes adventure and action and a chance fire lighting at fouls, her own order doesn't much like her and her ways and are looking for a reason to get rid of her (as a winged dryad she is practically godlike to them, an avatar of their forest so can't just kick her out.) Joining a mercenary band seemed like a natural temporary start to her wondering life and the sword have an honourable reputation.

Tell you one thing would love to have her interact with the holy land alliance somehow. I am sure they will get on.;-)

Born to group of forest dwelling elves, a remnant of nation of elves thought wiped out during the Great War. It is said that their connection to the great forest preserved their people during the war and the next years. They people dedicated themselves to the forest in gratitude becoming druids, guardians and preservers of the forest. Over the years, attempts were made by the new Kingdom of Maxwell. to "civilise" the tribal and heathen druids but they proved difficult and a tentative peace fell between the two factions, the druids allowed to live as long they remained in the forest. Their were close calls as both sides violated the agreements between thems but the druids endured, they even found followers from the villages in the outskirts of the forest who found the elves druidic magic more useful than the state faith.

Indeed she was found to be more magically gifted than most of her people and held a deeper connection with nature. She was made a priestess, a spiritual guide of her people and a representative of the druids to the outside world. However as she grew she found the life of druid prestess not for her, she believed in the spirits of the forest and all but found that the monastic life required by her order was too passive and limited. They were other forest out there needed to be protected and other cultures and people to explore and spread the need to protect forest.

She brought forward her beliefs to her order but they were considered blasphemous and she would have faced death if not for her sacred position. Others of her order feared her influence on others of her people and risked the peace they held. She realised if she wanted to get out there she would have to do so on her own and so left in self exile, travelling the land and sea as a hermit trying to spread her beliefs and help were she can.

So yes elves do exist, and they do live in the various forest regions of the World, however a flying elf is a bit of a stretch. I do not mind at all if there are different types of Elves with unique backgrounds and all that, but being able to fly per se has always been limited to special one-time OCs or Antagonists.

Now I am just curious as to the timeline of these facts. The Elf Profile in the Lore states that the Elves separated themselves and cut all contact with humans thousands of years before the current date, today. It was called the Pact of Segregation, something many of the other non-human groups agreed upon. For your statements to be true it would have to have occurred during that time, and if that is the case then it fits perfectly with the major events of this RP. If possible, choose a name for the forest where these elves live in and I will update the Elf Profile.

Apart from the origin of the wings, it is a very engaging background. I wonder if you could find a human form for her as well. The current state of the world does not allow for non-humans to openly travel, unless they are a very OP type, but it does not mean people are not aware of their existence.

I can remove the wings than, they were only there to fit in with the picture, maybe instead make her a horned elf like in the picture. The horns appear to be made of tree park and look like antlers and have bits of plant across her body like the nature godlike from the Pillars of Eternity. As for the timeline, if the pact of segregation fits than that is what it will be. The human form though i am not sure, she is the type who would be "i am here, i am an elf, get used it." About the whole thing. At least at first i suppose.

That should be no problem. The Commander of the Norhad Swords is no stranger to the fact non-humans exist alongside them. However for story sake it would be easier that she follows the Pact to remain hidden. The Elves have developped special Artes to disguise non-humans. It would also be a great story opportunity for her companions to stumble upon the fact she is an elf.

Ok. If that is all, i will try to repost the character sheet with the changes as some point. I assume i keep it here until i finish the rpg stuff as well?
