There's games, food, music, dancing, and so much more.

Once the sun goes down, there's partying of all kinds.

The celebration lasts a week, so be prepared for long days, and even longer nights!

Arianna Zabielski
Arianna was at the festival, but she wasn't there to have fun. No, the blonde was working it, same as the year before. The 19 year old was currently carrying a basket of roses from the back of her boss' van to the tables they'd reserved. Grateful they at least had a tent this year, she balanced the roses on one side as she reached up to brush a strand of hair out of her eyes. Clad in a pair of khaki shorts and a black tank top, her worn work apron overtop the attire, she was already feeling the heat. It was still early in the day, too.

Casting a glance up at the sun, she prayed silently for clouds as she reached the tent. She spotted Teresa, her boss, bent over doing something underneath the tables. She resurfaced just as Ari set the basket of roses down, jumping slightly upon seeing Ari. Placing a hand over her heart, the middle aged woman laughed and waved Ari off. "Jeez, dear, you nearly gave me a heart attack." Arianna would have grinned if the woman hadn't just gotten out of the hospital a few months earlier for that very thing. Instead, she just quirked a brow at the woman, who grinned back and shook her finger at Ari. "You need to learn to relax, Arianna, or you'll end up just like me. Is that the last of them?"

Arianna looked at the roses, shaking her head. "Two more baskets." She replied, still serious.

"Well, go get them, but take your time. I mean it, Arianna, I don't want to see you back at this tent for at least an hour. The roses will survive, and we have plenty here to sell in the meantime. Smell the roses for once." Teresa grinned at her own joke before plopping down in her chair, reaching for a fan she'd set on the table to begin fanning herself. "I might make Harry go get the actual fan later."

Arianna nodded, wondering what the hell she was supposed to do for an hour. She sighed and turned away from the rose booth, blue eyes scanning the other tents. Some were just setting up, but some had already been there for a while. It was the first day, and they were prepared for it to get much, much busier. For now, she settled for walking the edge of the open grassy area, glancing at the displays as she walked past them. She glanced down at her watch more than once, grimacing as she realized time seemed to be slowing down.

*Titus Valentine*
6c0e8f7f255ec28f2f6fdadf3dab98a5.jpg

After the traumatic experience on the ferris wheel, Titus was just happy to be back on the ground. He was speaking even less than normal, if that was even possible. To calm his nerves, he lit a cigarette and gestured to his friends that he'd go smoke it by himself where there were less people. Nothing annoyed him more than people who would just stand there and smoke around crowds, letting everyone breathe in the second-hand smoke. Only an asshole did that. He found himself a comfortable spot under a nice shady tree and smoked his Marlboro in peace. Despite knowing it was a bad habit, Titus struggled to kick smoking.

The sun shower had ended a little while ago, and now he was just enjoying the warm day. Maybe it was a little too warm. He puffed a bit of smoke before gripping the cig gingerly between his teeth and pulling his sunglasses out from his pocket. He could definitely use a drink of something, it was only going to get hotter from here. Pity for anyone working in those stuffy little tents or, God forbid, out in the open. The cigarettes may have been killing him, but at least they gave him the opportunity to sit in the shade by himself.

In the distance, a small figure with a pink bob cut and a beanie approached him. Of course it was Rachel , it was damn near impossible to not recognize someone with hot pink hair and a hello kitty beanie. Rachel walked towards the smoker with a purpose, and he sighed and gave her his full attention. Standing up, he dragged his long, lanky body out to meet her half way.

"So are you just going to spend the whole day hiding under this tree?" she asked, crossing her arms.

He shrugged. "We do have a week." This ellicited an annoyed face from her, and, with a sigh, he dropped his cigarette to the earthen floor and stomped it out with the sole of his black plimsolls.

"You know," Rachel started, "those things are going to kill you someday. Where'd you even them up?" Her face mirrored someone who had just stepped in dog shit. He opened his mouth to answer, but she shook her head. "Nevermind, I don't want to know. Come on, you were the one to bring up getting something to eat, earlier. Now I'm kind of hungry." Taking his hand, she dragged him away from his quiet environment to the rest of the group. Years ago, his hand might have started sweating from coming into contact with hers. Times sure had changed.

Queen of Mermaids

Azalea Parsons
Azalea, while excited to finally find the person she would be with forever, was reasonably concerned. Her parent's marriage had turned out fantastic, and they had fallen in love the way that it's "supposed" to be. That being said she had heard many stories of people hating their spouse, sworn to them forever now by the vows that they made. She had also heard that sometimes the humans came to resent them, because, at least in the mermaid world, they were changed into a mer-person themselves. It was quite the process, and while generally painless and left them as a stronger species, she could imagine how changing that much could upset someone.

It had run in the family that the person they were destined to be with was always "dark". Sometimes this meant dark skin, other times just dark hair, and sometimes it was inside of them. This was pretty vague, though, and made it seem like she had quite the challenge ahead of her. Before she had died, her mother had told her that she would just know when she found the one. Well, she wasn't so sure that that would be the case, but it did make her feel a little bit better.

She arrived fairly early to the festival just to be safe. She wanted the most time she could have to find the one she was meant to be with. Looking around, she didn't feel anything particular about the people that were there already, but she tried not to let it get herself anxious. She had dressed in what she thought was normal human clothes, but as she looked around she realized she may still be overdressed. She was wearing a dress, which she thought was casual but was realizing that it was maybe more of a gown than she had thought. Along with it she was wearing several rings and a diamond necklace. It was nice, but it wasn't her nicest. She frowned. Perhaps she would find clothes at one of the vendors?

Perceval Abernathy
Location: Random Alleyway

0139114d4dfd8cf664f09c87ae06742c.png

The light sound of a bouncing ball echoed throughout the small alleyway. This was the work of a young man clad in a loose grey shirt and dark blue jeans. He was sitting up against the red brick, tossing a lime green ball against the opposite alley wall. Toss, wall bounce, ground bounce, catch. Repeat. This process had been going on for approximately 20 minutes. Some might think that he had too much time on his hands if this was how he planned to spend his day and....well, they'd be right. His beloved little sister was going to the festival with her friends, and while that was great and all...that meant he had no one to go with. While he was comfortable going alone with her, he wasn't quite up for being seen with a group of little girls. That probably wouldn't bode well for his already crappy reputation. Currently, he was trying to figure out whether he should still join in the festivities or not. It was a place of laughter and happiness...should someone like him really be in a place like that?

This time, Perceval threw the ball, but no bounce followed. The motion of throwing and catching the ball had been so monotonous that he had completely zoned out. He blinked a few times before coming back to the real world. "Abernasty! Just the guy I was looking for." Said a tough looking blonde. To Percy, his voice sounded much like the cry a mouse might make if it was being tortured quite horribly, but this opinion was probably a biased one.

"Troy, it's good to see you too.." He said under his breath with more than a hint of sarcasm. To this, the bully didn't seem too pleased. A hand motion brought two more goons along, which brought a sigh to Percy's lips. The blonde pulled at his own lip, revealing a bruise that was almost healed. Perceval recognized it as the previous busted lip that he had given the boy about a week ago. It was really nothing in compared to the black eye and bruises that he himself had gotten during the encounter, but apparently Troy didn't think he'd been punished enough for it.

"C'mon, you can't still be mad about that little..." The raven trailed off with a nervous tone as he sprung himself off the ground and into a sprint. Perhaps he would go to the festival after all. There was no way those thugs would bother him in a public setting. They had a reputation to uphold, and they knew it. Now, the hard part was getting to that festival...

Throughout the years, Percy had gotten pretty good at running, but his pursuers were still right on his tail. A chain-link fence cut the alleyway into two. Quickly, he jumped and grabbed onto the top of the fence before sticking the toe of his sneakers into one of the holes and trying to pull himself up. One of the goons managed to grab onto his leg and attempted to pull him down, but a swift kick to the jaw made him let go. The lack of pulling force sent Perceval flying over the fence and right onto his back.

The hefty fall left Percy winded. He gasped for air, his vision doubling for a brief moment before merging back into one image. He could see the goons climbing the fence and rolled over, desperate to get away. He crawled a few steps on his arms and knees before he was able to breathe again, then pushed himself back up and into a run.

Location: Festival Grounds
Finally, he made it out of the alley and onto the festival grounds. He ran for a moment before looking back behind him, which led him to completely crash into whatever pour soul was in front of him at the moment.

Malvyn

Location: Underground -> Town Gathering
Tag:

The ambiance of the Underground felt electric. Everyone was on edge because they knew what time it was. The previous queen had died in her sleep a few years prior. Everyone noticed the little changes in the winter weather after her death. Mild winter soon plummeted into the frosty negatives.

Last week, Malvyn had his goblin minions clear any trace of his last bride from his sight. All of her belongings went into 'The Bridge Storage'. It was a place, more like museum, of past brides. Their portraits were displayed along with their favorite clothes, scents, or whatever else they'd taken a liking to. After the first few centuries and deaths of his brides, Mal refused to visit the tomb. He had a love for each of his brides and as they died he continued to exist. It took a toll.

Mal was in the Underground portal room. There had just been a meeting between him and hit top minions. They had their duties to complete while he was gone. Duties that kept the Underground in motion. Most of the goblins were mule headed but there were a select few with a surpassable amount of brain matter in the noggin.

As matters were settled Mal stepped toward the wall that shimmered blue, as if it were water. Walking through he felt a light prickling sensation run over his skin causing him to shake his head and shoulders to get rid of the feeling. Out of the portal he was now between two trees located in the human world. The place where he'd find his new bride.

Setting in motion, Mal walked the small distance to where his future bride would be - the town celebration. He didn't particularly like to be around humans because it reminded him of what he once was.

The gathering was already packed and as Mal walked the aisles he didn't see any of the other seasons.

This was it, the most important moment of his life. Dagnir stood in the middle of spinning colors and flashing lights. The sight dazzled and entranced him. It was all quite beautiful and terrifying, simultaneously. He smiled, all whites and perfection that was only broken by his extra long canines. He'd been here time and time before, mostly to run away from the things that he couldn't accept.

Like this whole procession of being married for the sake of an heir. It was ridiculous...even though the only reason he could copulate with a female would be to procreate. It ensured his rule and his people that , though he may die, his spirit would live on forever. It was a crock of Wyrm shit, but it created safety. People liked safety.

Still, he could be here and enjoy this realm for the time being

He'd been taking in everything when he felt someone crash into his back. He stood rigid. The most the runner managed to do was knock his cowl of his hoodie off his head, resulting in his hair being exposed to the twilight air. Dagnir turned around, looking to see who the culprit was but found himself looking down and becoming absolutely mortified.

He brought his hands up to his mouth, pale and exposed to the cool night's air due to a lack of sleeves. 'So handsome...' he thought to himself, his hair flickering from platinum blonde into a slow flush of jewel toned colors.

"I'm so sorry...Are you okay?" he asked the young dark haired man who lay on the ground before him.

Ryann Matthews | Tags: apolla apolla ; Outfit: xXx
Clutching her book tightly to her chest, Ryann hurried after her brother, almost jogging to keep up with his longer strides as he carried boxes from their truck to random stalls at the festival. She let out a startled squeak as she started to trip over a random electrical cord that had already been covered to prevent others from tripping and felt her face flush hotly. At her noise, Jake turned around to raise a brow at his now shrinking sister. He smirked slightly, only furthering her embarrassment.

"Better watch out for those covered cords." he laughed at her. Ryann stuck her tongue out at him in response and took advantage of his stopped form to shove past him so she was now leading the way. Of course, this didn't last long seeing as he was taller than her by a lot and quickly overtook her in a few strides.

"You're so mean..." she muttered under her breath with a pout as he passed her. Jake snorted in response as he stopped at the table waiting for their delivery. He handed the man running the stall a device that had been hanging at his hip and had him sign before bidding him a good day and turning around to walk back to his sister.

Ryann looked down at her book, gently fingering the soft worn pages of her latest read, thinking about when she'd get a chance to continue reading it. "Come on, Ry, it's a festival," Jake told her, sliding a finger under her chin to get her to look back up at him. He smiled softly, tugging lightly at her chin, causing her to scowl and pull her face away. "Go have fun. I still have an hour or so to go with deliveries, so go have fun. Find one of your friends or something."

She frowned, biting her lip. While yes, she did want to stop following her brother around while he lugged giant boxes back and forth, she didn't want to just ditch him. Seeing her indecisive look, Jake grabbed her by the shoulders, spun her around, and gave her a small shove in the opposite direction that he'd be going. "I'll be fine. Now go. I'll find you later. Just be careful and don't trip on anymore cords." he joked, taking a few steps back as Ryann whirled around to glare at him.

He laughed. "Jake Matthews you big jerk!" she cried, blushing again. Sticking her tongue out at him once more, she stuck her nose up in the air and whirled around, her braid flying over her shoulder as she took off down the path.

Glancing around, Ryann was originally looking for a place to sit down and read when she found someone she recognized from trailing after her brother all the time. "Uh...A-Arianna...!" she called out hesitantly, her small stutter making itself known. She cursed herself. She knew she was getting better, a few years ago she never would've been able to just call out to someone like that, but she'd known Arianna for a while now, having met and interacted with her often enough when Jake had to make a delivery for the flower shop the blonde girl worked at. She sighed to herself, tucking a random stray hair behind her ear as she took a couple quick steps closer to the blonde.

Well, Jake had said to try and have fun. Maybe she could hang out with the other girl for a while?

Ellie grabbed an book from her library. She was headed out to the human world to look for a mate. Not that she thinks she would find one that she would like. Or anyone that would willingly want to rule an entire kingdom. She wasn't even sure if she wanted to do that. Like at all. Once she knew that she had everything, she set off. Saying an quick goodbye to her parents in the throne room in their castle. She walked into the throne room, and bowed slightly. It was an sign of respect for the prince, and princesses to bow to their parents even if they are royalty themselves. She opens her mouth and speaks.

"Momma, and Papa. I'm heading out, I'll soon return with news if I had found a suitable mate for the kingdom." Her parents nodded at her as they return to their work. She sighed and bowed again leaving the room. They've been like this since she turned 21 in human years. It was time for her to find a mate but unlike her parents, she wasn't looking for love. She was looking for someone to just fill the job right. Her parents wanted her to find love but that was unlikely of happening. So she is doing it her way, and that made her parents uneasy. Ellie walked out of her castle, which was hidden by magic and the forest like the rest of her kingdom. She ran out to the border, going past the veil that hides her kingdom into the human world.

She enters an alley by the library. She puts her hood up and walks into the crowd that was heading to the town center. She sniffed the air, she could already smell the other kings and queens of her world here. Like her, they were looking for their mates as well. Hopefully, she wouldn't clash in with them, she doesn't like mingling with the other creatures. They make her uncomfortable and think she is weak. Which she is not, she just prefers not to go the violent route, unlike other creatures. She sees Ryann, a human girl she had befriended during her outings to the human world.

She softly walked up to her as she was walking to the blonde who was Annabelle. A girl who she was not familiar to but had heard her name from Rynn many times. Ellie tapped her shoulder softly and whispered "Boo!" Hoping to scare her a bit. She smiled at the young girl, she was glad to call a close friend of hers.

Arianna Zabielski
Arianna wasn't walking for very long before she heard her name being called. The voice was familiar, though she couldn't place it for sure until she paused and turned, spotting her coworkers little sister heading her way. Despite the heat of the morning and the irritation from being forced to walk around this festival and not do her job, a small smile appeared on her face.

The stutter should have given Ryann away, but it wasn't something Arianna had ever really judged the girl for. Some people were shy, some people were quiet, some people stuttered. It happens. Deciding to meet the girl halfway, she started in her direction, pausing when someone else approached her first.

Ari didn't recognize her, but she obviously knew Ryann as she tapped her shoulder, a broad smile on her face. For a moment Ari faltered, not wanting to intrude on another meeting, but for some reason her feet picked up walking again and she found herself standing in front of the two. "Hey." She smiled at both of them, though her eyes fell onto Ryann. "You and your brother are here, too? I didn't see Jake." She shrugged one shoulder, then looked towards the other girl. "I'm Ari."

Perceval Abernathy
Location: Festival Grounds

708bf7bedeb7ecaed161227ba11d3dd6.png
A groan escaped Perceval as it felt like he had just run full force into a truck. He blinked a few times before his vision focused on a man with rather strong looking facial features. Those piercing blue-green eyes felt as if they were staring deep into his soul, leaving him to grow rather sheepish under their perfect gaze. As he took in the rest of the figure, he felt himself to be insignificant. Anxiety filled his throat, his heart beating hard against his chest out of fear, adrenaline, and something else...

The young man took an anxious breath, giving his head a small shake to try and calm the panic attack that he felt rising in his chest. After staring up at the man for a rather long amount of time, he looked behind him, his heart still thumping in his ears, to see his pursuers standing at the exit to the alleyway, clearly mad that they couldn't catch their prey. Troy pulled his finger up to his neck and made a slitting motion, letting Percy know that he was dead the next time that they saw him.

"Uh...yeah. I'm fine." Perceval said as he turned back to look up at the man he had just run into, trying to keep his voice as steady as possible. He went to stand up only to feel a sharp pain shoot through his back and shoulders, to which his face twisted into a grimace. Adrenaline had kept him going earlier after that hefty fall, but he could certainly feel it now. Despite this, Percy pushed on and managed to get himself into a standing position. He placed one of his hands on the opposite shoulder, rolling it around to try and make it feel better.

"Thanks but...shouldn't I be the one to apologize and ask how you are? I mean...I am the one who ran into you." The young man said with a questioning look. Never before had he been apologized to by the person that he had run into. This guy was probably just minding his business before Perceval came crashing into him. He gave the man another up and down look, trying not to focus too hard on his perfect features. "Though by the looks of it you're completely fine..."

"I'm...Perceval by the way. Just thought you might want to know the name of your attacker." He said awkwardly, not even really knowing why he introduced himself.

Queen of Mermaids

Azalea Parsons
Azalea was beginning to get looks from passerby's. With her colorful hair and her dress, she was sure the spectacle to the average human. They would never believe that her hair grew out of her head this color. She got a few compliments on it, and they asked if she did it herself. She said she did, knowing they meant that she dyed it herself. She thought it was strange that humans liked to dye their hair all kinds of colors, and not just what they were born with. Sure, they had more conventional colors to their hair, but she would have kept whatever she was born with, personally.

Out of the corner of her eye, Azalea spotted a familiar face. The Goblin King. She didn't know him well, but of course, she recognized him as they had had discussions many times over their kingdoms relations. She had a soft spot for the king anyway. His kind lived long lives, longer than the mermaids, and he had had many wives who had passed from him. He had always seemed to genuinely like the brides that he took, in one way or another, and she imagined his heart was heavy when they passed. It was a hard thing to go through even once. The mermaids lifespan was longer than a humans, so she expected she may have to have the same experience, someday.

She was considering giving Malvyn a proper hello when a man ran into another familiar face. The dragon king. She wasn't too fond of the Dragon King personally. It was just something about him that rubbed her the wrong way. He was quite attractive, sure, but that didn't make up for the feeling he gave her. Her eyes glanced over at the man who had run into him. She couldn't see his face, but his hair was dark and looked quite soft... almost like she could just rub her hands through it. She stopped her train of thought, surprised. She didn't usually think things that like.

Azalea's feet began moving, seemingly without her permission. She had no argument though, as she willingly walked over to the two men. "Hello, Dagnir," she said as she reached the two. "I hope you both are quite alright, I saw your little collision," she said, finally looking over to the man who had run into Dagnir. He was gorgeous, she realized. "Sorry if you have already said this, but what is your name?" she asked, hoping that she wasn't coming off strangely.

"Perceval..." Dagnir repeated, not surprised at the arrival of Azalea. He didn't know her that well, but upon first impression he knew she had some sort of qualm with him. Weird, considering their people lived relatively close to one another, but lesser things could be said of the two kingdoms.

The fact that she'd managed to intrude on his meeting with Perc didn't hinder how he felt at the moment. As he looked into those eyes--those deep, thoughtful eyes--he knew he'd screwed up. Royally. A blush crept up on his face as he said the man's name.

He could feel his hair flushing a myriad of pinks, leading the Dragon King to try and shove the mess of locks back into his hoodie. "I'm Dagnir," he awkwardly announced, popping his head up and trying to play off the entire action. "This is Azalea, my lovely counterpart. We're...neighbors." He sighed, smiling at the adorable little alpha male while kicking the Queen slightly with the heel of his foot.

The young man was left slightly flabbergasted as he was met with the face of yet another person. He knew that the man he had run into probably had friends, but what he hadn't expected was such a colorful and extravagant character to show up. Percevel looked to and from the two character's in front of him. A beautiful man who made it hard to breathe with nothing but his presence, and a rather pretty girl with vibrant hair and a ballroom dress. Both individuals stood out like a sore thumb amongst the crowd. So much in fact, that Percevel could feel the stares of quite a few festival goers going through the back of his head from miles away. While this left him slightly uncomfortable, something inside the young man made him want to stay and talk to the rather strange duo.

Perceval let out an embarrassed chuckle. "You saw that...huh? We're just fine, just a little bump." He said as he moved a nervous hand through raven colored hair that was already slightly ruffled from his previous confrontations.

Being caught off guard by the request for his name and continuing to be frazzled from his run in with perfection itself, Percy's next words came out as a terribly nervous word vomit "My name...? It's, uh...Perceval. Well, I mean, uh isn't my name, of course. It's Perceval. My first name is Perceval. Not uh...clearly." Having had those words come out of his mouth in an extremely uncomfortable and fast manner, he took a deep and slightly troubled sigh. Honestly, this whole interaction was going down the toilet rather quickly. Currently, Perceval wanted to punch himself in the face. The only way he could make this encounter more awkward was if he pulled down his own pants, which he was absolutely NOT going to do. So, he supposed he at least had that going for him.

He looked away for a brief moment before looking back to those he had been previously talking to. He swore that he could feel that Dagnir was now beginning to talk and behave a little awkwardly, and began to honestly hope that it wasn't his own fault. Sometimes, Perceval felt like he had that effect on people. The young man tried to calm his thoughts and steady his voice before speaking again so his words didn't tumble out of his mouth as they had just moments previous. "It's pretty cool to meet you guys." He said to the two, pausing before directing a hand towards Azalea. "That dress looks very nice on you, by the way."

Having feeling that he had almost successfully recovered from his social catastrophe, Perceval spoke again. "Neighbors, huh? Are you guys from here, or are you just visiting to enjoy the festival?"

*Titus Valentine*
6c0e8f7f255ec28f2f6fdadf3dab98a5.jpg

To understand Titus, you have to understand the long, complicated, and uncomfortable history with his fear of girls. The only person who knows the true origin of this fear is Titus, and he won't talk about it. It's not relevant, anyways. All that is known is that ever since he realized he liked girls, he's been unable to communicate with them properly. His throat will begin to feel like it's filling with cotton, his face will burn a deep scarlet red, and sweat will start to drip down his face. The only women that he can comfortably talk to are his female family members, and his best friend, Rachel.

This fear of women is what put him on that bench all by himself that day - Rachel had run into a few gal pals at the carnival and brought them over to the table where Titus' group of friends were sitting. He turned into embarrassing mush, as he always did around girls, and had to excuse himself. So he sat, by himself, eating salty carnival food and ducking his head every time a girl passed by. He'd kill to just walk off and smoke a cigarette to calm his nerves, but that wasn't happening. Despite what the tattoos and sunglasses might lead you to believe about him, he's not daring or brave at all for the most part. If he walked off to smoke again, then Rachel would probably follow, along with her friends. That wouldn't be good at all.

So, instead, he decided to do something a little more discreet. When he finished his pretzel and lemonade, he signaled to Rachel and his brother that he was going to go use the restroom. This was a lie - he was slipping away to hide from all of the people around him. He knew this wasn't normal or rational, but something deep in him, under his skin and deep within his nerves, told him he had to flee. So he listened to this instinct, and made a move towards the bathrooms. On his way there, he ran right into someone's back.

The sudden voice over her shoulder startled her, causing Ryann to let out a small shriek as she jumped, losing her grip on her book. Eyes widening she squeaked at a much lower volume and fumbled, fingers darting this way and that to try and catch her book before it hit the ground. Letting out a heavy sigh of relief as she caught her book, Ryann let her head drop and rest against her collarbone, waiting a moment for her heartbeat to settle.

Clutching her book to her chest tightly, she turned slightly and pouted at the girl she knew would sneak up on her like that. "Ellie...!" she whined as Arianna approached them. Ellie she knew on a more personal level compared to Ari, even if she had known the blonde longer because of her working with her brother. "Don't do that." she complained, biting her lip as she turned back to her blonde....friend? Acquaintance? Ryann shook her head slightly, tugging lightly on her braid.

"H-hey...Ari." she smiled, nodding in response to her next question. "Y-yeah he has a few d-deliveries still." she explained before glancing back at Ellie and then at Ari once more. "D-did either of you um.....uh h-have any uh plans...?" she asked.

Arianna Zabielski
Arianna would have helped Ryann catch her book, but she was too far away as the girl began to drop it. Once she was there and had greeted them, Ryann already had it safely tucked back in her arms. She smiled slightly, remembering how Jake talked about her books and how much she loved them. The sibling-ness between them was obvious, and Arianna thought it might be nice to have an older brother to look out for her. But then again, she was so used to being on her own that she couldn't picture it.

As Ryann asked if they had plans, Arianna shook her head. "Not a one. I've been kicked out of the tent for an hour..." Arianna pulled out her phone to glance at it, and then sighed. "Which is another fourty five minutes at least. I have no idea what to do." With a roll of her eyes, she crossed her arms and cocked her hip to the side. "What about either of you?"

Azalea Parsons
Azalea didn't notice the blush that was creeping across Dagnir's face until he rudely kicked her. What were they, children? Was he seriously going to kick her? They were kings and queens, not simply average civilians. Wars have started over less, that was for sure. It wasn't until she spotted the red in his cheeks that she realized what he was trying to convey. She still didn't appreciate it, nonetheless, and she was finding that she herself was quite fond of the man in front of the two.

"Yes, neighbors," she said with a bit of frustration in her throat. She found the nervous was Perceval spoke to be quite endearing, though, and pushed any foul thoughts out of her mind. "Perceval. It's lovely to meet you," she said, smiling as he gave her a compliment. "We're here.... on business, you could say," she responded to Perceval. "But I am enjoying it, thank you. It's quite lovely. Although, I am a bit overdressed," she laughed. "I was going to try to find something else to wear, but if you like it then I might just keep it," she said, giving him a little wink.

The day was still early and Mal had plenty of time to find someone to romance. In the meantime Mal had other things to accomplish like getting pie. Sure he had a huge selection of foods to select from underground but it usually had a twig or rock there, as goblins are tend to do. He stalked the food booths looking for something in particular...AH! His lips quirked into a small smile as his mouth watered at the sight of the golden crusted blueberry pie. As the booth person had her back turned he snatched the pie but made sure to replace it with one of his own. I quick little magic never hurt anyone.

Well, it'll probably hurt whoever ate the dirt pie.

Wanting to see gobliny antics in action, Mal took stood across the way between two tents. It didn't take long for a female to come by and purchase the pie. To the girl, it was a blueberry pie, juice running from the tin tray down her fingers. She smiled as she started walking away and licked the juice from her fingers. Stopping, she looked at the pie and started going to town right in the middle of everything. In all reality the girl had licked muddy water that had dripped from the tin onto her fingers. The pie she was now eating was actually made of dirt and had grass sticking out of the top. There were a few rocks lingering in the muddy mixture.

Mal chuckled to himself. Suddenly, he was jarred from his position. The pie that been halfway from his face was now all over his it. He turned around and was met with a human male.

He threw the ruined pie to the ground and narrowed his eyes at the male. "Problem, my dude?"

Dagnir choked down a small giggle at the mention of the dress. He sorta liked it, but the fact that Azalea would make herself uncomfortable to satisfy a suitor was uncommon to him and his subjects. Strength was found in equality, not subjugation. But he'd had enough of talking and just standing in place. There was fun to be had, even if he was on a mission. He bit his lip in thought, then timidly put his hands into his accomplices' ones.

"Let's spend the night together," he said with bright eyes and a fangled smile. A shower of fireworks went off overhead, illuminating the two before him. "Think it forward of me, but I think we were supposed to meet you, Perceval. I think our beautiful companion is just as curious about you as I am. And, I'd love to see how those long z'lincars will affect those cute little winged creatures. Please?"

He dropped Azalea's hand, sensing she wouldn't wanna be dragged along, and guided the alpha male toward the direction of the duck game, near which stood two girls--one as beautiful as moonlight with the darkest, most inquisitive eyes anyone had ever seen.

Everything that was happening seemed like a dream, and a nightmare at the same time. With the appearance of another beautiful individual, his feeling of insignificance was growing quite heavily. During the whole ordeal, with his right hand, Perceval began unconsciously fiddling with the bottom of his shirt. It was one of his many nervous habits that had formed over the years.

Speaking of nervous, the young man felt his face began to turn a light shade of pink as a wink was sent in his direction. Winks usually signified flirting, and Percy had definitely never experienced flirting before. At least, none that he was aware of. The thought of being flirted with caused Percy to let out an extremely nervous laugh. He began to think that he was possibly getting ahead of himself. Maybe he was just confusing things and the wink was just a mistake. Perhaps it was a tick, or maybe he was just seeing things. There was no way anyone could be into him. Or at least, this was what he thought and told himself on a day to day basis. Yeah, that was it...there was no reason to feel awkward and uncomfortable around these beautifully formal strangers.

"Yeah...it's uh, real nice. Besides, why change your clothes just because others aren't dressed as nicely? Sometimes getting dressed up for something simple is nice." He voiced his opinion. Somehow, he managed to make eye contact with the girl as he spoke, which was honestly quite the feat. Not that Perceval would call himself a hipster, but he always thought that people should just dress how they wanted to with no need to conform to the norm.

Perceval looked up as bursts of color fired across the sky as he listened to Dagnir's words. Spend the night...with me? He thought. Perhaps tonight was a dream, or maybe some sort of prank. The latter made quite a bit of sense. Having two gorgeous magnificent individuals wanting to spend time in him. Troy probably put them up to this, but honestly, at this point, he didn't care. He was pretty happy about this.

"That is pretty forward." Percy said quietly to himself. He took a deep sigh as he tried to qualm his nerves. Festivals were supposed to be fun, and he had two lovely individuals to spend it with. If he messed up this opportunity with his self-loathing attitude, he would never forgive himself. Perceval let a smile of genuine happiness appear on his face. "Ya know what? Sure. Let's see about those...z'llincars?" He said with a bit of a questionable tone. Perceval honestly had no idea what z'llincars were, but he was more than willing to find out.

"So...did you guys grow up in a posh kind of neighborhood? You both talk pretty formally." He said as they walked, trying to make some sort of pleasant conversation, and only managing to screw it up a little bit as he realized that some people might take offense to his previous words. "Oh! Not that that's a bad thing. I didn't mean it in any bad way. It's just unique...in the best kind of way?"

Titus looked up at this guy, seizing him up in case the guy did something belligerent. He was a solid half a foot shorter than this guy, but was definitely built a little more. He had been knocked on his ass, but tried his best to scramble to his feet and take a step back. Now there was mud and grass stains all over his shorts and legs, fantastic. His carton of cigarettes fell out of his pocket, much to his chagrin, and his sunglasses were sitting lop-sided on his face.

"Sorry, man," he said in a calm tone. "I didn't mean to." His tone hid the fact that he was terrified of getting clocked by this guy pretty well. He was a little pathetic looking with dirt and grass blood all over himself. It was a little goofy, even. He tried to walk past Malvyn.

Ellie grinned at Ryann. The girl got spooked at the smallest things, especially when she was reading a book. Like Ellie, she got really into it and lost focus on the world outside. She laughed softly looking at Ryann happily. "You know I can't help myself. You just so easy to scare Ry!" She looked around seeing tents and places already crowding with people. Finding her partner wouldn't be easy but at least she shouldn't have an issue with choices. She looked around to try to see if any of the other kingdoms royalty she can spot. She doesn't but she does already smell them. Elves are excellent trackers, and they can track many things by their eyes or their sense of smell.

Ellie smiled softly at Arianna and waved. "I'm Ellie. Nice to meet you, Ari." She then turned to Ryann shaking her head. "My plan was to just wander around really.....I didn't have anything in mind to do really." She shrugged. Right now, she is just spotting her future spouse and greeting them. Getting to know them. After that, it would count on how these next days go. If there is no love movement and time got short, she will have to take her partner from the earth world, and force them to marry her. She doesn't of course like this choice, but it seems like the most probable situation happening. Ellie must get married to continue the seasons, she must do her duty to her kingdom and to the earth. She has no choice. You never do when you are the future queen.

"Wanna walk around together then?" Ellie asked the two girls. She wouldn't mind the company. "I was gonna drag Ryann outta of the books today anyway. "
