➩ Plot ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔

『 ✎ 』Jessie was born in 1658 to Anne Bonny and Calico Jack aboard a ship. She was born stillborn and was given up to the sea dead before living a day. After Jack was hung and her second child taken Anne left to a small town east of port Royal, towards the other side of the island called Port Newland. It was small and only merchants came occasionally for a few exports in cotton. Anne found a witch and performed a ritual to bring Jessie back to life though it came with a curse. The sea would always protect Jessie but as soon as she left land to the sea she could never return and could never again set foot on land lest she spilled blood as a sacrifice to the sea. Jess was raised in a cottage out of town in a field of grass. She grew normally though her mother would not even let her swim with the rest of her peers. She learned to swim in the lake. She learned to use a sword and she learned to fire a gun. She read and wrote and eventually learned more than her mother ever had. When she was 14 a boy tried to kiss her, she punched him and he slashed a dagger across her face, he went fishing on the ocean and was swallowed up by it. Jess thought nothing of it and went on with life. When she was 18 the English raided the town searching for pirates. They lit up the town with gunfire and cannons. She watched their little cottage burn as her mother screamed for her to run. Jessie had naught but her sword, pistol, and a bag her mother threw to her. She ran. She ran for hours until she collapsed outside of Port Royal. That is where she is now wondering where her story will go and grieving the death of her mother
『 ✎ 』Word spread of the massacre of the small town of retired sailors and pirates and both pirates and sailors were furious. It was said that no one survived. War was brewing and the seas sang for blood.
『 ✎ 』Your Oc is the captain of a powerful ship, one of the pirate lords. He was in Port Royal when he heard of the massacre. He was the one to find a headstrong girl passed out in the grass outside of town mumbling of an attack. He wakes her and finds out who she is and offers her a place in his crew. Jessie agrees. At first, he treats her like any lady, fragile and delicate. That night there is another attack on Port Royal. After seeing her fight and win he changes his mind about that notion. They stay up drinking and learn of her curse. They grow closer as they set out to wage a war against the rouge European Navy.
