Throughout the universe, there are various federations run by different alien species and all are currently at peace with one another. There are always tensions between select species but for the moment, war is being kept at bay. The federation that manages human affairs is simply called the Collection. The Collection currently is focused on exploring the universe that hasn't been looked at along with diplomatic relations.

A newbie just graduated from pilot school and while new pilots aren't supposed to pilot their own ship alone, they walked to the ship bay to test one out a bit. A thief was currently looking for a ship to steal at the exact same time...
