Alex knew she had no choice and so she let Angel away "Ill be back" she said to Athena with a slight smile before looking back in the direction they were going. Alex listened to him speak with an angry expression still plastered on her face. When Angel punched the wall, Alex looked at his fist for a second before turning back to him completely unfazed. "You'd what?" She said in a threatening voice, Alex took a step forward so she was flush with his chest looking straight into his eyes "you'd hit me" she gave a cold expressionless laugh "well go right right A-fucking-head, do it go on" she urged. When it didnt seem like he would Alex lowered her voice a little but still held the angry and bitter tone. "I dont expect my father or his to find out, who knows how long it will last between us but I need it to cope and I need him" she explained "so go fuck it up if you want to then, go tell me dad, some how tell Emmett Sullivans see if I bloody care" she looked him in the eyes as she spoke "it wont stop me trying to see him and it doesnt matter because Im as good as dead anyway". Suddenly a worrying smirk played over her features "not that you can say much" she mused "What about Sinead Sullivan?"

"Well it is a pleasure to meet you Rita". Nicolo was amused at her comment and the smirk on her face would have shown this, he decided to humour her statement. If anything he had alot of experience of dealing with Alex throwing these statements out at times when she was very annoyed. "Off Course a woman can be by herself in today's society" he commented "but everyone likes to have a little company and so I was asking to see if you already had company or if I could be off assistance" A charming smile played on his lips as he spoke but faltered when he heard the undeniable shouts of his sister. Nicolo snapped his head towards the bar to see Alex and Angel having a very heated argument. He was going to get up and try to sort it out but he watched angel drag Alex off. Nicolo decided against going after them, deciding they probably needed to sort this out between themselves. He couldn't help but wonder what was going on between the two of them since the meeting at the hotel.

"Well you're still here, so I'm sure that you have your answer." Rita slowly followed Nicolo's head to find two people arguing, and tried to listen in a little more to their conversation hearing something about the Sullivan's. She assumed that Nicolo knew these people, but she got the idea that there was something going on with the Romano's. Hearing the girl say something about Sinead sparked a little bit of a hellish fire in Rita, but she pushed it down and drank again like nothing had happened. "And what brings a charming man like you to a place like this?" Rita was sure that Nicolo and the two that were fighting had something in common and was determined to find out if she was right.

Angel shot his hand out, pressing his fingers into her cheeks to shut her up. He pulled her in close, his nose a couple inches from hers. "I'm a two-bit gangster, my death would be nothing but a positive for this city. Hell, sometimes I look forward to it. Not you, you have more to offer than I ever could. Don't throw your life away." He released her, causing her to fall back.

He quickly walked through the crowded bar, so blinded by his rage that he didn't hesitate to shove men out of his way. He didn't do it so much in a malicious way, more the fact that he knew if he didn't get out of there soon, a bar fight would ensue. The fresh, cold air calmed Angel's nerves beyond belief. The adrenaline had run its course, his knuckles now aching.

"
Alright, if you say so." Athena mumbled in response to Alex. She knew Alex was lying but she was just going to let it go for now. Athena thought of the girl as an older sister and it hurt her to see her like this. It was then that Angel and Alex got into it. Yelling and screaming at each other. Arguing about being involved with the Sullivans. Specifically, Conor and Lucy Sullivan.
Fidgeting nervously, Athena looked from Alex to Angel. The two were screaming each other at the top of their lungs. It wasn't long before Angel drug Alex away. Alex had told before leaving that she would be back. Gosh, theose two were something.
Thena let out a deep sigh, tapping her heeled foot lightly. She shot a glance over at Leo and Isaac. The two seemed to be talking. She caught a grin or two from the men. t had been about 5-10 minutes when she caught Angel enter the bar again. He was pushing through multiple people. Athena knew Alex had been involved with Conor and she also knew that would be very controversial. Not many from the family would be supportive of the pairing, if at all. Slowly pulling those black gloves of hers off, she sat back in her seat. Once off her arms, Athena placed the ebony gloves in her small bag. Crossing her legs with her hand placed under her chin, she watched the people dancing in the bar.

Leo Davide

Leo saw some sort of altercation between Alex and Angel, which made him feel a little uncomfortable. He'd never had any issues with Angel, but he figured whatever he'd dragged her off to discuss involved the business activities he himself tried to keep out of. As much as he was enjoying chatting with Isaac and hoping to talk with Athena, a bad taste had formed in his mouth for the night. At least Nicolo seemed to be having a good time, he thought. When Athena returned to her seat, Leo felt a little bad that he'd decided to head home. Reluctantly, he got up from his seat. "Isaac, it was nice meeting you. I'm sure you'll manage to get in touch with Viinnie," he told him. He then looked to Athena apologetically. "I'm done for the night so I'm going to get out of here," he told her. "I'd still like to talk about that book with you. I'm not allowed to go to work tomorrow, so I'll likely head over here again for drinks," he told her, his voice sounding inviting. "You and Alex make sure you both get home safe, yeah?" he suggested. Without further hesitation, Leo left the bar, figuring Nicolo didn't need him interrupting his time with Rita.

Lucy smiled gently and moved to her wardrobe to choose an outfit for the day. She put a hand to her chin as she looked through her outfits and decided a simple pantsuit would do for the day. She was most likely going to be around the house most of the day and she didn't feel like getting all dressed up for that. Changing into clothes, she ran a brush through her hair. "Sinead always bounces back, she's like a little ball of happiness, its hard to contain it." She spoke lightly and sighed. "I honestly hope Conor is doing better this morning..." She thought before the smell of a baking cake made her stomach growl. "Ooo okay time for breakfast!" She laughed before giving James another kiss. "Uh...I should head downstairs first...and just kinda make my presence known..."After planting a kiss on his lips, she gave him a wink before opening her bedroom door. "See ya downstairs handsome." She murmured before walking down the stairs towards the kitchen.

She heard voices coming from the kitchen and saw Conor standing in the doorway and hugged him from behind. "Oh look who's up! You sleep well with my lil Lady last night?" She asked sweetly before ducking under his arm and walking into the kitchen. Giving her sister a kiss on the cheek, Lucy was clearly in a really good mood and it might come across as too good of a mood. She hummed lightly to herself before moving to grab a drink of water. "That smells amazing Sinny Bun."

Athena was still worried but she tried to focus her attention on something else like Leo. She watched as he rose from his seat. She was then informed that he was going to leave the bar for the night. But, Leo still wanted to hear about the book which lightened her spirits a bit. Leo told her that since he wasn't going to work tomorrow, she would probably see him at the bar again.
Okay, I hope to see you tomorrow." Athena spoke. Leo then suggested for herself and Alex to make it home safe. She nodded, "We will. Have a good evening Leo." Athena spoke softly. Then, she watched the young man as he exited the lively bar. Athena sat up, feeling very drowsy at the moment. She didn't stay out this late very often.

Conor Sullivan and Sinead Sullivan

Conor felt someone hug him from behind and was happy to hear Lucy speak to him. After whatever had happened the previous night, he was relieved to hear his sister speaking to him in such a way. "I was up before you, Lucy!" he remarked, as if it were a competition. "Lady and I slept wonderfully. Sorry, but I've claimed her as my own dog. You'll have to get another one," he joked.

Sinead smiled as Lucy kissed her on the cheek. It was nice to see her brother and sister looking happier than they had been recently. If anything, Lucy seemed overly happy, like she had something exciting she needed to get off her chest. "Well, cake is pretty amazing," she replied, still eyeing up her sister with light-hearted suspicion.

"What gives, Lucy?" Conor asked, hearing the humming. He was about to suggest she'd got "some action" the previous night, but decided against it with Sinead around and also due to the fact he was confident the only guy she'd been around last night was James. The thought of James somehow managing to get close enough to Lucy made him grin. The two were very professional and strong-willed people. "Explain the good mood, because I'm not accepting you're this happy about cake!"

The Romano Home
Vincenzo Romano

Vinnie was dressed up ready for a night out at the casino, though there would be no gambling involved on his part. The manager would either be voluntarily accepting his generous offer or Vinnie would be forcibly taking the business. He'd let Aces Casino run on his soil with minimal disturbance from the Romanos, but he was done with the pleasantries. He would eventually be meeting Fortuna, Michael and a number of other gang members at the casino later. For now, he had a couple of other business matters to sort out.

Isaac had been contacted and asked to drop by the house, but he would have to wait patiently for Vinnie to come speak to him about the job he needed doing. First on Vinnie's agenda was Angel, who he'd told to stop by the house for a chat.

"Angel, a word in private?" Vinnie sternly asked, pointing into his office. Once both were inside, he closed the door behind him. "What are you getting up to this evening?" he curiously asked. It would seem like he was just asking for the pleasantries, but Vinnie didn't do small talk so he was probably asking from a business point of view. "Have you made any progress with the little matter of Sinead Sullivan and making her fall for that charm of yours? If we use and corrupt the precious little thing, it will help us destroy those closest to her. Get her on side and that would be a bonus. Once we're done with her, we can throw her to the dogs."

Vinnie had another issue to raise to Angel, but he decided to start on a positive.

Leo Davide

Leo wasn't so sure if Athena would show up after he'd left so abruptly the previous night. His invitation was an open one, so if she chose to she was welcome to bring Alex, Nicolo, or anyone else along with her. Whether he was drinking alone or in company, Leo was drinking and that might be enough for him this evening. He'd been to see his father earlier but the two ended up having a disagreement. Leo didn't think his father should still be taking risks by going out dealing in weapons for the Romanos. In return, his dad had told Leo to man up and quit acting like he was holier than everyone around him. It had not been a good conversation, so his first pint was going down very quickly.

Lucy shrugged at her brother's words and laughed. "Can't I just be happy without having some sort of reasoning behind it all?" She asked as she grabbed a glass from the cabinet and moved to the sink to fill it up with water. Her brother and sister were looking at her as if they didn't believe a single word that came out of her mouth and she rolled her eyes. "Oh good god, enough with the interrogation, look I want you guys to clear your schedule for tonight, we are going out and having some fun. I hate seeing all of my siblings so down in the dumps and goddammit we are gonna have a good time." She told Conor and Sinead before taking a sip of the water from her glass, not realizing how thirsty she had been until taking the first sip.

Grabbing a napkin, she dabbed around her mouth for a moment before deciding to get another drink of water. "8:00pm we are going out of this city to have some fun tonight and I don't want to hear any if, ands, or butts about it." Lucy used the same tone her mother would use when telling the kids of what they were required to do. "Then maybe I will tell you what is going on." And with that, she walked out of the kitchen to find Lady and spend some time with her.

Sinead had originally been intending on going out by herself in the evening, perhaps to the Lakeside Restaurant where she worked, in hopes she'd bump into Angel somewhere along the way. When Lucy had told her to keep her schedule clear, Sinead could hardly put up an argument and she didn't want to flat out lie to her sister's face. Besides, it would be nice to have fun with her siblings after so long and maybe even find out what this possible secret Lucy seemed to have was.

With Shannon out and Emmet still away, it was up to the four siblings to have dinner together, along with James who Conor had asked to join them. Conor knew James was getting ready to do some job and was slightly annoyed the man was remaining tight-lipped about it. Apparently he thought Conor wasn't well enough to go along on the job with him. Conor figured the man was right, plus, he'd been given strict instructions from Lucy to keep his evening free. Still, it was bugging the Hell out of him not knowing what James and David were up to.

"Thanks for the food and the cake," James spoke up, his voice as serious as was normal for him. He was aware he needed to get going. He'd already had a private moment with Lucy, telling her to stay safe and obviously kissing, so he figured he could be less talkative around the table. "You lot have fun while I'm busy working," he remarked. He flashed everyone a brief smile before getting up and leaving the house.

"You need to have more fun yourself, old man!" Sinead playful called out to James as he left. She then looked back to Lucy and smiled. "So where are you planning on taking us, Lucy? Do I need heels or boots?" she curiously asked.

"Yeah, Lucy. Do I need my heels too?" Conor asked, mocking Sinead's priorities and nudging her. "Maybe we can find Carrick a girlfriend while we're out," he joked.

Carrick had been at the kitchen early in the morning, drinking some tea while reading the newspaper. Now that he though about it, doing this kinda made him feel like he was old, and maybe he was, considering that he was amongst the most responsible and dependable between the Sullivan siblings. Sinead sure could be responsible but at the same time, it looked like she was an airhead, hanging around the enemy, how did know that? Let just say that since he had nothing to do at home besides studying, cooking, or keeping things at home together, he would sometimes secretly 'follow' one of his sibling, mostly because he found it funny by getting blackmail on them, after all, just because he didn't want to associate himself with the gang, that didn't mean he didn't like doing dangerous things.

Carrick had to stop his musing when his siblings suddenly came, with Lucy going to drink some water. Since he didn't want to heard their discussion, he decided to ignore them. At least he tried to that is, mostly because he heard Conor talk about getting him a girlfriend. "Excuse me?" He said looking at him with a glare. "What is exactly that suppose to mean, Conor?" He questioned.

Isaac
Isaac had spent his Sunday afternoon window shopping at various car dealerships. He did not have the money to afford one, not yet at least. After looking at a multitude of cars, Isaac picked out two. A beat up old car that was affordable, and a hot rod that maybe he could afford in his next life. Isaac was excited to hear the job opportunity that the Romanos had contacted him about. Isaac figured his subtle hints to Nicolo must have been picked up on, it was definitely worth having the conversation with him at the bar.

Once he was done his browsing Isaac took the walk back to the bus stop. At least it was a nice day for it, clear skies and mild temperature. After making it back to his stop Isaac sat and waited for the bus to take him to the Romano house, making small talk with the other people he was waiting alongside with.

Lucy had spent most of the day hanging out around the house and she even decided to clean and organize the kitchen a bit in her spare time. She was sure her mother would be a little irritated when she returned but everything was impeccably clean. After helping with dinner her and when James left she started to clean up the kitchen once more and let out a light laugh at Conor's joke. "Heels please,we are going to another club outside of town." She informed both of them before looking at Conor. "I can let you borrow my half inch heels Conor, you need to practice your walk in them before you graduate to the 5 inch and above." She informed him with a teasing smile.

Cleaning up took about 10 minutes and she noticed Carrick walk into the room. "Well hello to you too Car." She said, he young brother and her didn't have much of a relationship but after everything she was more willing to try and form one. "It means nothing, don't listen to Conor, you can certainly find one on your own." Lucy tried to offer her youngest brother a small encouraging smile. "You are coming out with us tonight...going to a club and just spending some family time together ya?"

She really hoped that he would come along, it really had been too long since they all were together. Her mind went to James for a moment and she thought about how she was going to tell them. Conor seemed a little suspicious already but he didn't say anything. Sinews seemed clueless but her reaction was going to be the most entertaining she was sure and Carrick well...they never talked about this stuff...so she wasn't sure what he would say.

Finally Lucy finished whipping off the counter and turned towards the group. "Alright I'll give you all a half hour to get ready and report back here in that time okay?" Lucy raised a perfectly arched brow and smiled towards her siblings. "My treat tonight."

Conor met Carrick's glare and was about to respond to tell him it was a joke whilst also making another joke. When Lucy spoke up instead, Conor shrugged his shoulders and grinned. "What your sister said," he simply replied. His younger brother could be quite serious at times when Conor didn't think he needed to be. Conor listened as Lucy explained they were going to a club. "Heels it is then!" he announced, before getting up from the table to go get changed into something a little nicer.

Sinead listened to the others speak. She would have laughed at Conor's joke towards Carrick, but her younger brother didn't look amused and he would probably get annoyed if she in particular did laugh. She did smile when Conor asked about heels, glad he was at least trying to be his humorous self again. "We're going to a club and you give me 30 minutes to get ready?!" she exclaimed to Lucy. "Holy jeez..." she trailed off as she rushed upstairs. In reality it didn't take the girl as long to get ready as it seemed. She spent a lot of the time procrastinating rather than actually doing. With half an hour to spare, she knew she had no time to daydream.

Conor soon returned downstairs, dressed quite smartly. He pulled Lucy to one side and placed his hand on her shoulder as he spoke quietly. "Lucy, I'm sorry about last night," he told her. "For getting upset and shouting back, I mean. I'm trying to get my head back to normal, I promise," he assured her. He figured she'd been through Hell too, but she seemed to be coping better than he was and that made him feel terrible.

Carrick had kept the glare On before sighing and smiling at both Conor and Lucy. "I would say that I'm happy you both are worried about my social life and if I'm gonna get a girlfriend soon, but, that would have to wait until I meet someone my age that could be intriguing and amusing." He said to them, but he knew it was mostly going toward himself, mostly because he wasn't if he there was anyone out there for him yet, after all he was kinda picked on what he wanted. When Lucy had told him to hang out with them at a club, he was gonna reject right away but had decided against it and nod toward them, before heading upstairs to go change. When he finally came back 10 minutes later, he was still fixing his shirt. Sure he could try to present himself as someone decent, but wearing a tuxedo wasn't his thing at all.

Once everyone was upstairs getting ready, Lucy also made her way up to her bedroom to change. She was rather quick with the process making sure that she was at least ready to go by the time her siblings got down the stairs. She saw Carrick and smiled at him lightly, "When did my baby brother become a man?" She asked lightly. "Here let me help," She lightly fixed his shirt so that it was on straight and not lopsided. "Perfect." Lucy beamed at her younger brother before she felt a hand on her shoulder and she was pulled away gently from Carrick momentarily.

Turning to Conor, she raised an eyebrow as she listened to her brother's apology. She was still a bit irritated that he was doing something so foolish, but as his older sister it was her job to protect him both physical but most importantly mentally. And Lucy had failed to notice how truly unhappy he was. Lucy shook her head slowly. "I shouldn't have put you in such a position, I guess I was just really...surprised." She murmured to him before lightly throwing her arms around Conor. She hugged him tightly, "Don't worry about that now though, tonight is about us as a family and we are going to have fun? Right?" She asked rhetorically.

Lady came trotting into the room, wagging her tail, clearly wanting to come with the group. "Oh i'm sorry girl, I promise that I will take you out tomorrow with us okay?" She knelt down and stroked her puppy's fur. Lady leaned into her hand and yipped slightly in excitement before Lucy stood up and stretched out her arms. "Sinny Dear? You ready to go?" She called up the stairs.

Conor smiled as Lucy hugged him, placing his cuddly arms around her. Though he knew she didn't like that he was seeing Alex, he was just thankful they were still able to talk to each other like they had before. "Of course we're going to have fun, Lucy. What's more enjoyable than a Sullivans' night out?"

Conor then walked with Lucy to rejoin Carrick so they could wait for Sinead. "Looking good, Kean," he told his brother, with an encouraging smile. "I could be wrong, but I'm sure Tinkerbell was already wearing something nice before she went upstairs. I don't know how one person can own so many dresses," he remarked.

Sinead was just opening her bedroom door when she heard Lucy shouting up to her to see if she was ready yet. "Yes, calm down!" Sinead called back, despite Lucy being perfectly calm. She then rushed down the stairs in her high-heeled shoes. How anyone could stand in heels baffled Conor enough, never mind running down stairs in them. "You guys need to relax. The club isn't going to sell out of alcohol and fun, don't you know?" she noted, with a wink. She smiled as she admired how good her brothers and sister looked.

"Looking stunning, ladies," Conor said, looking to his two sisters. "Looks like I'll be warning men away from you two all night," he added. He then pointed to the door. "Shall we go?" he asked Lucy.

Angel kept his hands properly behind his back as he strolled to Vinnie's desk. "My evening is free as of now." He moved for the Crown Royal on Vinnie's desk, fetching two scotch glasses by the light. Unscrewing the cap, he poured the appropriate amount of whiskey into both glasses. "I don't want to overwhelm, Sinead. I figured i'd show her a good time and disappear for a night or two. Let her sort her thoughts." Angel moved towards Vinnie, offering one of the scotch glasses. "Besides, the last thing I want to appear as is clingy." He took a sip of the scotch, his throat forcing the powerful liquid into his gut. he looked down at the glass, spinning the whiskey around the corners. He looked back up at Vinnie, his trademarked smile appearing. "So, if you have any other assignments for me, for the time being, i'm all ears."

Lucy leaned into her brothers embrace for a moment until they walked back over to Carrick. Lucy smiled as Conor complimented their younger brother and turned to see Sinead coming down the stairs. "Well you never know! Sorry if I rushed you love." She smiled to her sister. "I love this dress on you!!" She exclaimed and lightly touched the fabric of the skirt.

Lucy blushed lightly as her brother complimented both her and Sinead and finally nodded her head. "Let's go, we will take one of the cars." She murmured and moved to open the door for her siblings.

A small smirk played on her face, thinking about Conor's words. He didn't know it yet but he definitely didn't have to worry about warning away other men. Lucy was committed and she would do that herself if need be. Lucy walked with her siblings out to the car and the driver took off towards their destination. Lucy was so use to James driving them everywhere that when she looked into the rear view mirror she was expecting his reflection to be looking back. But when she saw the face of another driver she frowned and let out a soft sigh.

She knew that she needed to have a good time with her siblings tonight, it was something that they all needed collectively but...she missed James and was worried about whether or not he was safe.

Vinnie grinned at Angel's response regarding the Sinead issue. "That's very wise of you. I knew I'd picked the right guy for the job," he remarked. He accepted once of the glasses from Angel and took a drink from it. "Fortuna and I will be heading over to Aces Casino shortly. I'm going to be the new manager," he began, his face showing no sign of a smile. "I'm expecting Mr Dawson will require some persuading. If he refuses to sign the contract and take the money I'm offering, then he's going to find his casino suddenly lacking security and his own employees will be in danger. How would you like to get your hands dirty and make an example of one of his security guards? Show him what's in store for the rest if he refuses my offer?" Either way, he also had another brief job for Angel. "Before you get to the casino, I need you to swing by the old fabrics warehouse across from the steel factory. There's some very important goods contained within it and I've got some guys guarding the place. Keep out of sight but just check everything is in order and let me know if they're pissing about on the job."

Vinnie rubbed his chin and sat forward as he thought of the other matter that was on his mind. "One more thing, Angel..." he began. "I have eyes and ears, as you well know. What's been going on between you and Alex? I understand you both had some sort of a disagreement last last."
Enzyme Enzyme (As you will see, I'm not expecting Angel to intervene with what James is doing, but I figured he could get near the place in time to see those responsible for what happens below fleeing the scene.)

James Porter
150430139460743.png((OOC: Sorry, I was going to write this in parts but just ended up doing it all at once.))

James and David got out of the car, telling the driver to stay parked a block away from the warehouse ready to drive off when they returned. David had a rifle hanging over his shoulder and was holding the gasoline-filled jerrycan. James was carrying two handguns on him and had a large rucksack on his back. Staying out of the artificial light cast by the streetlamps, they walked down the dark, quiet backstreet so they could approach behind the building. They'd already driven past the front and seen two guys hanging around the main door. Crouching behind the wall, James peered around it to see another two men leaning against the building, each smoking a cigarette. David placed the jerrycan on the ground so he could focus on holding his rifle.

"Fuck distracting them, James. We don't have time for that," David whispered. "Bullet in their skulls, then we can be in and out of there."

"I said..." James began, as he took another look at the two men and focused on their faces. He'd told himself he wasn't going to kill anyone tonight, secretly wondering if his romance with Lucy was opening up his feelings and making him question his apparent lack of regard for human life. However, any of that soon went out of the window when he realised both of the men had been responsible for kidnapping him and Lucy last week. One of them had knocked him out and he was pretty sure the other was the one responsible for causing Lucy's head to bleed. "Forget what I said. Stay back and get ready to cover me - the other two guys will come right around from their positions at the front once they hear the shots." David barely had time to react before James stood up into view and fired off a bullet straight into the skull of one of the men. He rounded the wall and headed straight towards the second man who barely had time to lift his own gun into the air before James fired off a bullet into his head too.

James could hear footsteps approaching, the other men perhaps not being as discreet as they thought they were. He held his gun tightly, but kept his eyes focused on David to look out for any signals, as he would see the men before James did. As David tried to fire his gun, it seemed to jam and he quickly took cover as one of the goons attempted to shoot at him. James quickly reacted by firing a trio of bullets at the shooter, one of the bullets ripping through his throat. Knowing the gun he was holding was out of bullets, James tossed it aside and reached to get his second gun, but not before he heard a loud bang and a bullet ripped into his left shoulder. "Fuck!" he hissed. He was about to raise his gun to fire back at the fourth man when David finally sorted himself out and shot the last Romano goon in the head.

"Seriously?!" James hissed, glaring at David for his lack of cover. "Fucking gasoline, now," he hissed, loud enough for David to hear. James turned away and checked the handle of the rear door, but wasn't surprised to find it was locked. He briefly placed his hand to his bleeding shoulder but forced himself to block out the pain and ignore the blood. He fumbled amongst the fireworks in his rucksack before grabbing the crowbar and pulling it out of the bag, then using it to force open the rear door to the warehouse. James peered into the building and shone his torch around, seeing the explosives and barrels Vinnie was hoping to sell on."It's safe for you to go in. Cover all that shit with petrol, but save some for out here," he told him. With David pouring the fuel over the goods and quietly grumbling about not taking any of it for themselves, James began setting up the fireworks right by the door. When David returned outside, James grabbed the jerrycan and poured the remaining gasoline over the fuses of the fireworks.

"Best start running, David," James suggested. He then took a few steps back and lit up his lighter before tossing onto the ground. James didn't stick around to watch the flames travel along the trail of fuel, which forked off towards the fireworks and also into the warehouse. James was aware of the blood pouring from his shoulder, both outside and inside his leather jacket, but right now getting away from the warehouse and into the car were his top priorities.

The sound of fireworks could be heard and the pretty sparkles could be seen lighting up the sky above. This was shortly followed by the multiple sounds of large explosions, which would likely be heard across the city, followed by huge bright flames.

With her back against a headboard, her eyes scanned the words on the book she had discussed previously. Humming, Athena glanced to look at the picture on the counter. It was a picture of Alex and her when they were younger. She let a small smile form on her lips. Sighing, Athena got to her feet. The night before, she decided to spend the night at the Romanos since her apartment was a a bit far from the bar and she wanted to make sure Alex was okay. Speaking of Alex, where was she? The two girls had shared the bed as they always did when Athena spent a night over at the Romano's. Athena reached up her arms to form a little stretch before she glanced at the clock on the wall.
It was the afternoon. She remembered Leo telling her he would be at the bar today. She looked Biting her lip, she tapped her foot. She went and got ready. "

Athena looked in the closet, "Hope you don't mind me borrowing some clothes Alex." she murmured, before snatching a couple pieces of clothing. Athena pulled on a a light green shirt and stepped into dark blue overalls. She slipped on tan and black Oxford flats. Exiting the room, Athena entered the bathroom and looked in the mirror. She ran her hands through her hair. She took a section from the front of her hair and flat twisted that section, then leaving the rest of her hair out. Athena tied her hair up, leaving it in a big fluffy puff.

Thena then went to work on her makeup. Humming, she applied mascara and eyeliner. Then, she applied clear lip gloss upon her lips. Stopping, she thought for a bit.
Was she getting dolled up more than usual? Athena bit her lip, before shaking her head and rolling her eyes at what she thought were just silly thoughts in her mind. Still, a light small smile was playing on her lips.
Since Athena would not be singing today, she didn't practice as usual.

Letting out a sigh, Athena grabbed her purse before heading from the bathroom to the front door. She grabbed her tan coat from the hanging rack, slipping it on before leaving to go outside. She was met with the light chill of October.
Athena caught a taxi, it was about ten minutes when she reached her destination. She paid the taxi drive, before getting out of the vehicle. A small noise made its way to her ears. Squinting her eye, she saw a small child huddled up in the corner of the bar. Athena saw this little boy around the bar often. She knew this little boy. She invited the little one to sleep at her place a few weeks ago but he refused, apparently not wanting to be a burden on her. Athena's been looking out for the little boy for over six months now. At first, the little firecracker was quite distrustful of her but over time, he's warmed up and seems to even enjoy her company.

Going to the side of the bar, she approached the small boy. "Hey don't you wanna come inside? It's awfully cold out here." Athena spoke in a friendly tone. He looked up, his big brown eyes looking at her. "Mr. Lenny says I can't come inside anymore since I steal too much food." The boy said to her.

Athena knelt down. "How about I buy you some food so you don't have to steal hm? Lenny won't mind that, I promise. Plus, it's much more warmer inside." She spoke softly. The small boy thought for a few minutes before nodding his head. "Alright, come on then." Thena spoke.

Entering the bar with the boy by her side, she was greeted with many hello's. Athena answered in her soft voice, returning the greetings. A smile on her lips. Her eyes glancing around, until she saw Leo. Athena glanced down at the boy, "Hey, I'll get some food over here." Athena informed, leading the youngster over to the bar. Thena went over to the bar. Since he was still too short to hop on a seat on his own, Athena helped him onto a seat by her side.

"What do you want?" Athena asked with a small smile on her face.

Kanai was deep in thought before deciding on something. "Croissant rolls, a tuna sandwich, and a root-beer float!." He answered, grinning and revealing his top two missing teeth. Athena giggled, "Well aren't ya hungry?" Athena said, ruffling the little boy's hair before quickly ordering what he wanted and a coke for herself.
Kanai watched as she turned, seeming to realize a man was sitting next to her.

"Hello Leo." Athena greeted with a friendly smile. Nai was unaware who this man was but Thena seemed to know who he was. Glancing at him. Athena began to introduce the two.
"This is a good friend of mine." Athena said, introducing Kanai to Leo. Kanai kicked his legs lightly, "I'm Kanai." The boy spoke, looking at the man, tilting his head.

Sinead smiled as Lucy complimented her dress. "Aww, thank you, Luce," she excitedly replied. "You look so classy... and hot!" she told her sister, doing a little hip shake as she said it.

When they got to the car, Conor took it upon himself to sit in the front passenger seat, leaving Lucy to sit in the middle of Sinead and Carrick in the back. During the drive, Sinead noticed Lucy had gone a bit quiet so she looked to her face to see if she looked troubled. "Hey, are you okay? Surely the accident isn't too much for you. Are we nearly thee yet?" she said to Lucy. She then took her hand and looked to the dressing which had been applied the previous night. "Is your hand alright?" she asked, not knowing what she had done to it.

Leo had just finished his pint and was just about to order another when Athena spoke and greeted him with a smile. "Good evening," he replied to her, his smile growing as he realised she had decided to join him. He'd honestly thought she'd give it a miss or she would bring a group of friends with her. She hadn't brought a group of friends, but surprisingly she did introduce him to a young boy. "Hey there, Kanai," Leo replied to the boy. "So, how are you both doing today? And what brings you out to the bar?" he asked Kanai.

Carrick had thanked Lucy when she had helped him fix his shirt, deciding not to say anything back when she called him little. Sure he was the youngest of siblings, but he had never really liked when someone called him little. Considering that he had just put on the first clothes that he had found on the Closet, he was actually glad that it got Lucy and Conor to compliment him, mostly because it was rare for him to get one from any of them, specially from Lucy, someone who he never hanged out with. When every one had gone to the car, he had followed them, getting on in the back, hoping that Sinead didn't sit next to him. Why he didn't want her to sit next to him? Mostly because he still didn't like her. "So considering I had barely gone out, what is the purpose of the outing?"
