The year is 1500 and 8 years earlier Christopher Columbus discovered the New World. It is the dawn of a new century and as the old one comes to a close everyone is looking toward the new world. Spain, Portugal, England, France, Russia, Denmark, and even the Ottomans, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, and India look to conquer the New World. But it is up to you, with the home countries backing, to go forth and Carve out a legacy of your own. It will not be easy, with disease, starvation, ruthless savages, and countless other dangers awaiting you. But also awaiting you is the chance for fabulous wealth, the opportunity to essentially rule your own private kingdom, and if you have the ability you can win glory and perhaps even a title back home. So here at the dawn of a new century we look across the ocean and realize it is time to blaze our trail!
