Alecks gives off a kind, generous, level-headed and friendly vibe. He has shown himself to be a bit arrogant, as well. He displays a great displeasure of killing, unless provoked. Overall, he displays great comradeship and great promise of being a skilled fighter, albeit somewhat flighty. His affection spreads even to his enemies, giving him a bit of a liability on the battlefield. He is capable of great rage when provoked, making him a formidable opponent. This mask of calm seems to be disrupted whenever he has to deal with nobles, which, considering his current mission, means he is constantly on edge around the various lords he accompanies.

History:
Alecks was born the child of a Palenian noble. Unbeknownst to him, his mother actually conceived him with a manakete of the mage dragon tribe, a clan of dragons immune to the effects of magic, and incapable of using that same power, themselves. This secret was never revealed to anyone, as doing so would ruin the noble's reputation.
Alecks never got to know either of his fathers, one whom disappeared when his affair was discovered, and the other who despised the abomination his wife had brought into his home. Eventually, his rage and resentment drove him to banish Alecks and his mother. As soon as they left, the noble declared that the two of them died.
Living in poverty, Alecks took to less than honorable methods to take care of his mother, the only person who ever took care of him. Alecks joined a mercenary band as a sell sword, taking up the art of swordplay in secret from his mother, and finding that he had a talent for it.
One day, Alecks sat beside his ailing mother, who told him that there was no place for him left in Palenia, or at least nothing worthy of him. Explaining that she knew of his attempts to support her, Alecks' mother told him she loved him, and that he should carry that love with him wherever he went next, before she closed her eyes one final time, and breathed her last. With sadness, and much rage in his heart focused on the ones who abandoned him and his mother, Alecks made off on his own at the age of 17. Within months, he was living in Fuccino, a place much more to his tastes. He kept anonymous, using the funds he earned in his work to live a comfortable life.
However, it didn't take long for Alecks to see the corruption that Fuccino was plagued with. After a particular instance pushed him over the edge, he decided someone needed to deal with the problem, and as such, he created a persona for himself, that of a man fighting for the people, and enacting justice on those who wronged them...
After hearing of an expedition into a new land, Alecks joined on, offering his services as a bodyguard to the lord of Palenia. He hasn't totally put the thought of killing the lord Mordimont completely out of his head, but with the danger they are in, those plans have to be put on hold.
