Willow the Deer use dis.jpg
Name: Willow the Deer
Age: 14
Backstory: As a child in school, Willow was always fascinated with history. She'd often research more into events like the solaris project, the space colony ark massacre, and the nocturnus clan. Her curiosity lead to her researching chaos energy itself, and learning more about why and how mobians have powers. She has kept this a secret from a lot of people, knowing that her pursuits might be frowned upon, due to the failed experiments in the past.

Personality: Willow is kind, bubbly, and optimistic. She is willing to listen and give advice on other people's problems which ends up in her often being called the 'mother' of the group. Her bubbly and optimistic attitude is good at lifting up people's spirit when the going gets tough. However, Willow can be quite overbearing and protective over the people she cares about. She also has an obsession with being organised, which means she will often lecture others about the importance of organisation. Her passion for studying chaos energy can also lead to her becoming distant, especially if she gets a really good lead, she might even forget to eat and sleep for a few days.

Power: Willow has the power of force fields. These force fields are VERY strong and allow her to protect herself and allies from incoming damage. She can also manipulate these force fields into the shape of a sharp dagger and she can use this for attacking. The forcefields can also let off a huge explosion that annihilates everything in range, but she can only do around 3 of these before she passes out.

Why she wants to join: She is looking forward to seeing individuals with powerful abilities for her research. She also just wants to protect others from harm they did not deserve.

Extra info: She is a talented piano player, she loves reading, and she has a chao named Cookie.

Ok, here's my first character. I'll probably add my second character when I come back.

Name: Sky the Eagle

Age: 17

Appearance: He has blue feathers, and purple eyes, as well as a spot of white feathers on his chest. He has pilot goggles on his head (he puts them on his eyes when piloting, though). He has white gloves and gray & black shoes.

Backstory: He's a descendant of the same ancient civilization as the Babylon Rogues, though he doesn't know much of that. As a child he was always fascinated by mechanics, specially airplanes. He learned to pilot airplanes, and became pretty skilled at piloting them. At the age of 12 he built his own personal jet, which he likes to call The White Eagle. He never bothered to investigate much about his origins, and always focused on improving his own skills to become the best at what he does.

Personality: Sky is determined and focused. He has clear goals and works hard to achieve them. He's really likes to push himself to the limit, and do what he can to achieve the best results possible. He can be a bit cocky though, specially when it comes to him considering himself "The best pilot in Mobius". However, despite being a bit self-centered at times, he's a loyal ally that's always ready to help his friends whenever they need him. He tends to be very analytic, and likes to analyze every situation carefully before taking a decision on what to do. He generally has a high concept of himself, and gets disappointed with himself if he fails to meet the expectations he has of himself. He can be very hard on himself, but usually he's not like this to anyone else. He considers that it's his responsability to be the best ally he can, and can be hard on himself if he feels like he's failed his team.

Power: Sky is a master pilot. He has great skills when piloting different aircrafts, specially his personal jet, The White Eagle. However, he also has a few abilities of his own. He's known to run very fast (though not nearly as much as Sonic or Shadow can), and has a great sense of sight. He can spot small objects at a long distance easily.

Why he wants to join: He wishes to use his own abilities to protect others from harm. He also wants to join a group with people who could become his friends, since he's spent most of his childhood without any friends at all.

Extra Info: He doesn't know how to swim, so unless he's flying above the water, battles at sea terrify him. Also, he loves waffles.

Name: Auste the Cat

Age: 14

Appearance: (You can skip this section if you uploaded a pic, but if you didn't, this section needs to be filled out)
26D82D69-F595-44C5-8D84-2C092AE47A59.png

Backstory: She’s generally very secretive about her past, viewing it as something to be left behind. What is known is that she was a studious, intelligent child who grew to be interested in both history and modern events, leading to her leaving her home.

Personality: Auste is generally rather apathetic. It’s difficult to distinguish what she cares about and doesn’t, leading to her being very socially awkward. She’s curious in her own way, though it can be difficult to tell from her stoic demeanour. She’s generally one to defer to other people for leadership. However, if doing so is opposed to her principles and wants she'll interpret what she’s told to do in such a way she can avoid doing what she doesn’t wish to do. She’s fascinated by technology, and could likely become pretty good at it decently quickly.

Power(s): Auste has hydromancy, control over water. She's still learning, and is limited to manipulating about a swimming pools volume of water, but she can still do some pretty impressive things with it. She’s also surprisingly durable.

Why they want to join the Freedom Fighters: A mix of sheer curiosity, wanting people to know her name, and a genuine desire to help people.

Extra info: god the creation of this precious gorl is a very long story. also TELL ME if I’ve got the lore wrong please.

Name: Titian The Fox

Nickname: Tish

Age: 12

Appearance: Titian is a smaller than usual fox, she has orangy reddish fur all over her body except for her belly, chest and the tips of her ears which are covered in pure snowy white fur, she also has Sectoral Heterochromia which means that her eyes are known to change colour based on the light around her or even her mood. Her clothing is very 'primitive' in style and is obviously hand made.

Backstory: Tish idolised the freedom fighters while she was growing up, being a fox, like herself, Tails was her idol and she would often think about how cool it would be to have an extra tail and she would dream about joining the freedom fighters when she was older. Tish wasn't a 'special' child in any way, she had no obvious powers or abilities and she wasn't especially skilled in any particular area either. However, Tish ended up getting caught up in one of Dr Eggman's attacks and was badly wounded, the severity of her injuries caused her to black out.

When she came to, Tish found herself strapped to a table in a dark room. Despite the initial relief that she was still alive, things got worse from that point. Realising that his time was running out, Eggman was working on a secret project which would allow him to create some sort of device to prolong his life, naturally before doing anything directly to himself he needed to run some tests and Tish was one of his many test subjects. The tests mainly involved installing robotic components inside her body in order to see how her body reacted to them and what effects they had on her general health as well as what affect they had on her mental and physical abilities.

Eventually, the tests came to an abrupt stop as Eggman finally passed away. Tish was one of the few who had survived the intensive testing though as the project had been discontinued all of the remaining test subjects were left for dead in a cell. The small group of survivors banded together and after much planning and a great deal of effort, they managed to break out of their confinement. Most of the surviving test subjects died during their escape either from being attack by the robots now under Metal Sonic's control or due to complications regarding their mechanical 'upgrades' which caused their bodies to fail. Miraculously, however, Tish managed to survive the ordeal and eventually made it back to her old home.

Personality: Before her capture, Tish was a bubbly, energetic and easily excitable person. She would always try to put others before herself and tried to do what she believed was right. To an extent, Tish is still very much the same, but due to her experiences in captivity she has become highly socially anxious, she's quite timid and easily frightened by sudden or unexpected events such as loud sounds or people jumping out on her. She tries her best not to show any of this and she's much more comfortable around people she knows well. Due to her time spent closed off from the world Tish's knowledge of recent events is very lacking, she isn't even aware that Eggman has passed away. Also, as another side effect of being in captivity for so long, some of Tish's mental functions haven't developed normally making her rather mature for her age in some respects but very immature for her age in other respects.

Power(s): Tish's only natural power is her acute sensitivity to other people's emotions. She can almost effortlessly sense how someone is feeling even if they're trying to hide or suppress that emotion from others or even from themselves.

All of Tish's other 'powers' are result of the experimentation she underwent while in Eggman's captivity, these abilities are limited and overusing them can have serious negative side affects. Tish has small retractable laser canons embedded in her wrists which are unnoticeable the majority of the time as when not in use, they retract down inside her wrists. She can also go extended amounts of time without sleep, she can function normally on as little as 1 hours sleep in 48 hours.

Why they want to join the Freedom Fighters: Tish wants to join the Freedom fighters for a number of reasons. Despite all she's been through, Tish has held on to her childhood dream of becoming a freedom fighter, to work beside her heroes and help keep people safe. On top of this, having been through what she has, she wants to make sure that no one else is ever a victim of the evil or Dr Eggman or his creations.

Extra info:
  • Titian is pronounced 'Tishan'
    • Or like Politician without the 'poli' bit
  • As my explanation of it earlier in my CS is likely terrible, Tish's 'primitive' clothing style is similar to and slightly inspired by Stick's clothing from Sonic Boom
    • kisspng-sonic-boom-fire-ice-sonic-boom-rise-of-lyric-s-sticks-5ac414640f88f5.92044682152279971...jpg5a84afe027a37cb52230d0f6957852be.png

As a side note, while I agree that Sonic Boom is kinda wrong in almost every way, for some reason... I kinda like it... don't ask why :P
[Most] Other sonic stuff is definitely better though!
  • Tish still isn't fully aware of the functionality of all of her cybernetic implants so sometimes she discovered new 'abilities
    • None of these abilities will be OP or anything, you have my word and I'm happy to pass anything by you before deciding to use it in a post
  • Tish's cybernetic components are a little dodgy as they were only designed to last through testing so they sometimes malfunction which can have serious side effects depending on what's malfunctioning.
  • From the outside, it's almost impossible to notice that she's no longer 100% 'organic'
  • I hope that's ok, lemme know if it isn't in any way... I kinda got carried away with the idea a little so yeah... apologies in advance if it isn't ok.

Alright, my second character is here!

Name: Dawn the Rabbit

Age: 15

Appearance: She has light orange fur and green eyes. She has ears very similar to Cream or Vanilla. She wears white gloves, a red shirt with a dark blue skirt, and white cowboy style boots. She also wears a white ten gallon hat that matches her boots.

Backstory: She was born and raised in a western area near Mirage Saloon. Due to the number of bandits where she used to live, she had to learn to defend herself from an early age. She learned several rope tricks from her father, and became a tough cowgirl. She grew up under her father's care until one day, his father was attacked by an army of robots that invaded the land. Dawn tried to defend her father, but there nothing she could do against so many robots on her own. That day when her father was killed by the robots was a traumatic experience for Dawn. After some time griefing the loss of her father, Dawn decided she had to do something. If those robots had killed her father, they could easily do the same to anyone else. So when she saw the announcements that Sonic and his friends were searching for new promising fighters to defend the land, she decided to go join.

Personality: Dawn is mostly optmistic and hard-working. Her father taught her to be honest and responsable, and she reflects that. This girl is very honest, and very trustworthy. She's always there to support her friends when they need her. She knows what it feels like to be depressed by the loss of a loved one, and she knows how much the kind words of a true friend can help to heal a broken heart. She's very naive when it comes to technology, though. She grew in an area where the most advanced technology that was seen on a daily basis was the train and the radio, so now that she's moved to join the new freedom fighters, she can get pretty confused by advanced technology. She can also be stubborn at times, specially when she strongly believes she's right. Overall, she's a sincere and trustworthy friend who is always ready to help a friend in need.

Power: Dawn has a certain amount of speed, comparable to Sky. She's also very strong, though not nearly as much as Knuckles or Vector. She has great skill with her trusty lasso, which she uses a lot in combat. She's also extremely resistent to heat, since she literally grew up in a desert area. She can't fly, but she can jump pretty high, helping her reach areas others can't.

Why he wants to join: As mentioned before, the day when her father was killed by the robots was a traumatic experience for Dawn. After some time griefing the loss of her father, Dawn decided she had to do something. If those robots had killed her father, they could easily do the same to anyone else. So when she saw the announcements that Sonic and his friends were searching for new promising fighters to defend the land, she decided to go join.

Extra Info: She's very vulnerable to cold temperatures. She loves to play the piano, and her favorite drink is apple juice.

Circuit1.png

Name: Nathaniel "Circuit" Ferret

Age: 17 years old

Backstory: Circuit was raised in New Mobotropolis, although he was actually born in the Kingdom of Mercia. His mother was an avid traveler from the Acorn Kingdom, and in her travels she ended up falling in love with a Mercian weasel, causing her to stay in Mercia for a time. Unfortunately, the romance was as swift as it came, and within two years the free-spirited ferret was done with the charming yet obstinate weasel—not not before she gave birth to a baby boy.

In all reality, raising little Circuit alone was difficult, but not impossible. Circuit had a mom that cared, and that's really all that mattered to him. He grew up in a loving home, and with a mother that was willing to let him follow his wackiest dreams...which mostly revolved around inventing. He always wanted to make something that made a difference, although his current work usually just makes a difference by blowing a hole through the wall...

Personality: In most things, Circuit is either or both of two things: enthusiastic, and painfully stubborn. He's the type of guy that keeps trucking no matter what, even when the odds and even his own mind are against him. Destructive, maybe, but he can't be faulted for his passion. This applies to many things, whether it be in his personal projects or in friendships. He's loyal to a fault once you let him in. Sometimes, however, Circuit doesn't know when to let things go...

None of this stops doubt though. Sometimes, Circuit hates his own obstinance, mostly because he knows it was why his mom left his father. It's also a product of that constant battle between dreams and realism that wages in his mind. Because yeah, Circuit can be a rather blunt and even sardonic dude sometimes, but that doesn't stop the dreamer within him.

Ultimately, Circuit wants what's best for the world. He hates the idea of people getting hurt, especially by other people. Yeah, he may be a little clumsy and flighty at times, but that doesn't stop his big heart.

Power(s): Circuit can produce electromagnetic waves, which theoretically can lead to the manipulation of radio transmissions and even visible light, but really just boils down to Circuit being a walking EMP generator, otherwise known as the death of any electronic he tries to make. Really, he's good at blasting concentrated pulses that can fry any machine in its path. Well, concentrated is a lie; by himself, all Circuit can do is make a weak field disturbance, but he's developed gauntlets that help direct his power. As of now, it's still pretty indiscriminate: he can't fire off anything without shorting his phone, his friend's phone, and every light between him and his target. The best thing about the gauntlet is that he's figured out a way to turn his power off.

Why they want to join the Freedom Fighters: For one, he's always looked up to people like Tails and Rotor, who could not only kick major butt, but could do so in the workshop as well. And being a kid in New Mobotropolis... well, he practically had a crush on Nicole. Most importantly, though, was how the Freedom Fighters could always turn the tide in their favor, no matter how unfavorable. Circuit wants to help people, and what better way than to learn under the Freedom Fighters? Besides, he hopes they can help him figure out his weird ability...

Extra info:
Even though he's actually half weasel and half ferret, he just refers to himself as a ferret.
— His father originally named him Nathaniel, but since his mom left him, she never really called him that. She started calling him "Circuit" after he fried her newly bought circuit board and wanted to use it as a chew toy when he was just a toddler.
— I know what you're thinking: wow, a walking EMP versus robots? That doesn't seem fair. Well, since EMPs only really affect the electromagnetic field, all these chaos-powered machines are safe. (Which includes Metal.) That, and it's pretty weak anyways. Circuit only trained it enough to not fry whatever he was working on and the apartment lights.
— Never underestimate how much he can fit in his pockets. Never.

Sima (2)_2.jpg
Name: Sima the Snow Leopard
Age: 18
Backstory:
She was born in a village in the middle of nowhere that no one exactly cares about, but she cares about immensely. It's in the mountains, just north of the Dragon Kingdom. Though harsh and perpetually cold and snowy, her people have lived there for many, many years, ever since the Great War, finding refuge from all the political turmoil of other lands and preferring to be on their own. They were a proud group--a strong one, fighting the elements and all their neighbors. They were led by their elders, and their warrior chief.

Sima was the only daughter of the chief, but she hardly knew him. While out on a hunt, both of parents were killed when she was young in a scuffle with a powerful crew of bandits. Or such, that is the only story they had. In light of this, her grandmother, Amalen, raised her, and she trained her, as well. The mother of the past chief, she knew his wish that Sima might become the next one, so she, being skilled in fighting and leading herself, taught her everything she needed to know. Sima was fond of Amalen and saw her like a mother. She took this imposition of destiny in stride, but not, perhaps, without something else pulling her.

At 14, Sima decided that she needed to do something. It was a custom among the young people of the village to make sure they had one great 'feat' before they came of age, be it going off on an expedition alone into the mountain peaks, fighting a battle, or crafting something absolutely fantastic. Sima didn't have one yet...but for it, she was ambitious. She would get revenge on the bandits who killed her parents. She didn't know who they were...they only had the word of the one guy who saw them before they ran off. But she was determined. She would go down to the Dragon Kingdom...surely, that's where they must be from...and she would do justice. This would be her feat.

In retrospect, it was probably a little too large...and vague. She never found them, of course. She did go an quite an adventure...encountering many people, and even helping some along the way. And, being someone who never had been outside the mountains until then, it was rather exciting, too. The adventure was something amazing, and a wonderful story to tell her friends back home. In her quest, she went off twice, the second even more months than the last. And that's when the problem began.

Sima came back the second time to find out she had been replaced. Amalen was training her cousin, Sakor, so that he may be the next chief. Sima was devastated at the news, why would her grandmother just...replace her? But Amalen had a reason. She told her: 'Your heart is somewhere else, my dear. You must realize, if you are to be chief, you must stay....so find what you do want...'

Sima was angry. And slighted. Although she might see her point, Sima felt unsure of what to do anymore, so she left...for real this time. She traveled as a wanderer throughout Mobius, taking on odd jobs throughout the way, and hoping, somehow, that she will somewhere find her place.

Personality:
Calm in the downtime, and downright aggressive in the fight time. She has a 'strike now, ask questions later' sort of approach, for no other reason than that's how she thinks it must be done. Sima believes in virtue, justice, and honor, although sometimes to the extent that she will duel with you over the slightest of infractions. Plus, she can be just a tad prone to seeking revenge. Still, she means well. She is loyal to her companions, although she many dispute with them, and she will never, if she can help it, break a promise.

Sima does tend, oftentimes, to be the 'serious' type. She sees no other way but action, holds little patience for evil and stupidity alike, and her pride is something she tries hard to keep intact. She doesn't take criticism too terribly well, and, again, has an anger problem. However, this doesn't mean she can't enjoy life, as well. Deep down, she loves the thrill of adventure, and the feel of the sword beneath her hand. She likes the outdoors and the wind in her face. She loves cooking, weaving baskets, and telling stories, be they true or not. And, despite having no patience for adults, she does have a soft spot for children. And, above all, she wants to be someone who does what is right.

Power(s): Martial arts skills. Although having no superpowers per se, she is incredibly adept at hand-to-hand combat, having a sword that she is trained in wielding. Also, for use in a pinch, she has thick chopsticks in her hair that double as blades. Half of the wood is casing; it can slide off to reveal the knives underneath.

Why they want to join the Freedom Fighters: Purpose. After wandering around for a while, Sima found out about the call for new Freedom Fighters in Mobotropolis, and she decided this was exactly what she needed. She is, at this point, a little lost, and so, having fighting skills but not knowing what to make of her life now that she wasn't going to be chief anymore, she thought this to be the perfect opportunity.

Extra info:
--So, sorry the backstory was so long and convoluted! I've had this character for a very long time, and as such, her story kind of grew with each concept. I just thought I'd like to play her again.
--Fun Fact: I built Sima's entire character off of the chopstick thing. I saw in a Jackie Chan movie and liked it, thought it was cool, and made it into a Sonic character. And I've been attached ever since, so yeah.
--For those you are unfamiliar with the comics, the Dragon Kingdom is placed in Asia and has a culture roughly similar to medieval China or Japan. The rest of the world's a little more "modern", so that said, Sima's a little new to this region and might have a tad bit of a culture shock.

1550630592554.png
Age: 14
Backstory: Born and raised on the outskirts of Mobotropolis, Myrtle had a rough life in the slums. Her family seemed to be involved in a little bit of everything. Myrtle probably would have grown up just like the rest of her family, if it wasn't for her grandmother. One night, on a job gone wrong, Myrtle's tail was lost. Because her grandmother lived through the Eggman take over, she had metal parts all over her body. Thus giving Myrtle's family an idea for her tail situation. It's original purpose was a weapon, however Myrtle later ran away with her grandmother, deeper into the city. Where the Freedom Fighters helped protect them.
Personality: Was taught to be tough, and to never cry. Myrtle is good at neither of these things, but boy she tried her best. Street smart but not necessarily book smart, Myrtle is very visual, and learns by doing. Always wants to be in the middle of the action, even if things are over her skill level. Not matter what, she always gives 110%. She is eager to please, and just a big marshmallow on the inside.
Power(s): Can stick to any surface; hanging effortlessly upside down, and seems to be unable to get dizzy. Even when spun at great speeds. Also has a robotic tail that has immense strength.
Why they want to join the Freedom Fighters: The Freedom Fighters helped her and her grandmother escape a bad situation, and soon became her new role models. Her grandmother was delighted to see her interested in something good, and encouraged her to join when the word went out.
Extra info: * Trained in boxing * Can and will pick a lock * Water is friend * A pretty good shot * Wears the same outfit everyday * Tail is detachable *

Name: Blade Eastwood
Age: 17
Appearance: Blade looks very similar to Tails in appearance, having yellow fur, a white muzzle, and white fur at the tip of his tail, and has yellow bangs of hair on his forehead, as well as emerald green eyes. Blade stands at a height of 1.85 cm and weighs about 55 kgs. He is usually seen wearing a long sleeved white shirt with a black sleeveless vest over it, along with stonewashed blue jeans, white gloves with sock like cuffs, chestnut colored boots and a chestnut colored cowboy hat on his head.
Backstory: Blade was born in the year 3249 in Spagonia, Eurish. He never knew his father and his mother died when he was very young. As a child, Blade often heard stories about how his father was physically abusive towards his mother, which led to his mother becoming depressed, and that his father left his mother while she was still pregnant with Blade. His mother's depression led to excessive prescription drug abuse, which in turn led to her death while Blade was a little boy. Following his mother's death, Blade moved in with his maternal uncle Sherman and maternal aunt Courtney. This is where Blade met his friends Danny Richards and Maurice Lennox. Being constantly spoiled by his grandmother growing up, Blade decided to take on the role of a bounty hunter. One of his first jobs was catching a criminal garage owner with Danny and Maurice. The operation was successful until Blade's uncle Sherman caught them in the act. The garage owner killed Uncle Sherman in a rage, which both enraged and saddened Blade, as he blamed himself for his uncle's death. Despite this, his aunt Courtney convinced him to continue his job as a bounty hunter, because in her words, it's what Uncle Sherman would have wanted. Blade later started attending Spagonia High School with Danny and Maurice, and is currently in his senior year, planning on going to the University of Spagonia and pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice after graduating high school.
Personality: Blade is very protective of his loved ones, particularly his aunt Courtney, and his two friends Danny and Maurice, whom he constantly worries about due to his dangerous justice lifestyle. He is withdrawn among strangers, but has good manners, and shows a softer side around love interests. The murder of his uncle Sherman has given him a great sense of guilt, and a mental ambivalence about whether to continue serving justice or not, as it was his decision to become a bounty hunter that led to his uncle's death, but his aunt Courtney wants him to continue serving justice to honor his uncle, and Blade continues to fulfill this role despite his reluctance to do so. Blade is quick to help the defenseless and unfortunate, even those he merely meets in passing, giving Blade a sense of idealism that inspires the youth around Spagonia. Blade's business like manner usually leads to him behaving more maturely and cautiously than his friends Danny and Maurice, who have a more cheerful and easy going personality. Blade also has a distaste for illegal drugs, frequently turning down offers for marijuana from his classmates and warning them about their cocaine habits. Blade also exhibits dislike for politicians who use discriminatory tactics for political gain, but he considers himself neither liberal nor conservative, and the various Mobian conflicts have given him a negative view of politicians in general.
Power(s): Blade is a skilled gunman, pilot and driver, being highly skilled with various types of firearms, as well as able to fly aircraft rather well and drive various land vehicles. He also possesses great levels of strength that rival that of Knuckles the Echidna and Vector the Crocodile, being able to pull doors out of vehicles and kicking down metal doors with force. Aside from his skill in firearm useage, Blade is also a skilled and tactical melee fighter, and knows how to handle himself in a fight.
Why they want to join the Freedom Fighters: Blade wants to join the Freedom Fighters to be able to protect his loved ones, as well as the loved ones of others.
Extra info: Blade speaks in a deep voice akin to that of Auron from the Final Fantasy series.

Ayde the thunderbird.png

-/-Name: Ayde the Thunderbird

-/-Age: 13

-/-Backstory:
Journey started in the faraway land of Efrika, the young sparrow spent his days serving under a dying tyrant as a prodigy in a somewhat desperate band of bandits. Who were they? Well, they called themselves the Twisted Shadows, and yes the name has a lot of meaning in it. They've done a lot of things; taking lives, stealing important artifacts, and dirty dealings against the crown even. Now this is where it gets weird. The reason they aren't known is because of how they do what they do, and while their existence is acknowledged, they are only viewed on the wrong side of the spectrum due to uncertainty, as unlike your average bandits, they protect and save others as well, the general public sharing mixed views on the large sporadic group.

Ayde was a high-ranking member in this pseudo-organization, and from the eight-years-old been one of its greatest hits, taking anything remotely valuable and stockpiling it unknowingly for the sake of his father. Leader of the whole shebang and one of the nuttiest cakes around, Jank La Cadena is a feared mercenary of unknown origin whom proved his skill and overall influence by creating and guiding this aimless force comprised of well-trained killers and victims.

Fresh from a job, Ayde and his comrades stumbled in on a confrontation. The Dark Legion had somehow tracked down Jank, and had some kind of deal on the table. There was a fight, and right after the little encounter the Twisted Shadows began openly defying the Dark Legion's forces. At first they were little interruptions in their ventures, then the bandits ended up in bloody combat with them.

Finally Jank succumbed to his sickness, the small dispute settled in a matter of nights with little to no one learning of the event. It was then that Ayde received a letter, and one that would point the way to the present.

-/-Personality: Emotionally Ayde can withstand a storm, his tolerance for people incredibly high. He's earnest in action and chill in activity, happily going along with any plans from a valued partner or leader. Results matter most to the little Thunderbird, the way they're achieved normally meaning naught as everything doesn't always work out exactly, and he believes fussing and fighting never makes it better. This said he's not one to interrupt a squabble unless personally asked, as fights among allies usually bring about better understanding, from his experiences. Seeing Ayde express strong feelings about something is very rare, the path as the Thunderbird knocking all agitation and pointless thoughts away. Also thanks to training, his guard is hard to break as even in the presence of close friends he'll take a advantageous position and keep his wits about him. Ayde doesn't have trust issues, he's just really careful, leading to moments of snooping around and/or keeping a few secrets if needed.

Ayde is proud to the Thunderbird, and never fails to showoff his powers when possible.

-/-Power(s): Ayde has accelerated reaction time, his reflexes being insanely good. This has also affected his eyesight, allowing him to perceive time 2-3 seconds faster than normal when focusing on something; he's seen almost 5 seconds ahead before, but that was one time and his life was thought lost. (This might be confusing but when I say perceive time faster, I mean he can see stuff happening like its in slow-motion. No worries though, its more on-and-off than anything.)

Ayde can also increase his momentum in really short bursts, allowing for movement in midair and so on. (Mainly used to get himself to the ground faster, escape larger objects, stuff like that. When he uses this it always affects his entire body so its not easy to use. Also, yes he can increase his momentum, but he's not equipped with super strength or anything so nothing crazy is possible, he's still a little sparrow boi.)

Want something stolen? He's most definitely your guy. With Tactics and technique he's a monster in stealthy combat, preferring the surprise attack and hit-and-run strategies. In direct confrontations he goes for forced attrition where possible, dodging everything he can until the opponent gives-up or switches gears. Ayde has no particular style in hand-to-hand combat, but using his special abilities in tandem with the lessons of his master gives him a dirty edge against his foes.

-/-Why they want to join the Freedom Fighters: Simply to carry on the fight for freedom, put his gifts to good use once more, and to see much much more smiles like his father's.

-/-Extra info:
■The letter Ayde received was from his father in the Kingdom of Acorn.
■Untrained and inexperienced in technology, such tasks dependent on its knowledge would be a behemoth yet to be encountered.
■Ayde has never taken another life, and will try to keep it that way.
■Despite being a sparrow, Ayde refers to himself as a Thunderbird.
■The shoes he wears were gifts from the Myth known as Black Dog, and they not only function like steel-toed boots, but the soles are especially-made to absorb most if not all the shock from impact, and put that energy into powerful yet safe rebounds.
■They whereabouts may be unknown, but his loyalty to his eight sworn brethren is undying.
■Ayde actually has nearly no sense of style, and other than the neat coat, everything else he sports are things given to him. You might say its by chance that he's not a walking clothesline mess.
■The meanings behind the name 'Twisted Shadows' can be broken into two things; 'Twisted' describes what things they do, normally being the whims of the leader or decisions by a member, 'Shadows' as in how they carry out their chores, keeping themselves in the dark.
■In the organization they are a small group of kids each raised to wield their specialties under legends at the leader's hand; they are nine in total and their code-names correspond with the legend they were to become: The Phoenix, The Dragon, White Tiger, Thunderbird, Famewolf, The Gryphon, Gold Lion, Leviathan, and Black Dog. This gathering of kids was dubbed "The Myths".

Age: 17
Backstory: Ilma was born, under undesired circumstances. She was a preemie baby, unexpected to live. However the doctors of Mobotropolis didn't give up on her. She was a "fighter", and so she lived. After this incident, Ilma has dedicated her life to medicine and surgery training. Her passion was always strong for the craft, but the ordinary position at a hospital seemed to not interest her. Which confused both her parents and herself, not seeming to know where she was going in life. When the Freedom Fighters flyers went up, she instantly knew where she was heading.
Personality: Quiet and shy when she is out of her element. However, once placed in it, she is quite matter of fact and bossy. Prefers time alone, or on one on one. She sometimes takes things too seriously, and gets frustrated when others take their jobs not as such. Get's very flustered when flirted to, or when any kind of romance is around her. She sucks at social stuff.
Power(s): Can somehow read any language, however cannot speak it without learning like a normal person. Can semi turn invisible. It's more of a body cloaking. She can't always control this power.
Why they want to join the Freedom Fighters: Growing up in the same place her whole life, she dreams of adventure, and wishes to help those in other countries or in less fortunate situations. The Freedom Fighters is a great outlet for this.
Extra info: Can preform most surgeries in theory * Surprisingly finds reading boring, likes story books tho * Don't mention her shortness * Looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you * Not afraid of blood

Fez the Phantom.png

:╫:Name: Fez the Phantom

:╫:Age: 16

:╫:Backstory: Long, long ago in the Cryptic Ruins Zone lived a mighty wizard desperate to aid his king in a selfish deed. In those times war was more prevalent than the full moon, and the corrupted lands only amplified the violent thirst that pushed the inhabitants. They were five known kingdoms at the time, along with several towns and established superpowers that came together under one banner. Bloodshed was the norm, and the king in possession of a pure baby boy sought the impossible change of it. Knowing this wasn't going to happen, the powerful wizard under his command used his malefic witchcraft to seal the prince's soul in attempt to spare such a hellish lifestyle, and hoped one day someone would save him...

Fez came into existence the moment a curious individual decided to take the little treasure he'd been encased in for so long and unknowingly released its contents. That unlucky schmuck's soul was absorbed, and the body morphed at the mercy of scary dark magic. That night the mobian outside Mobotropolis was no longer just a citizen nor a prince. That night, a brand-new life was born, body and all.

:╫:Personality: A bit scatterbrained and hard to follow at times, this wacky canine is disgustingly honest, easily turning a bad mood read into pieces of an unintentional confession. That doesn't mean he isn't trustworthy though, as his gentlemanly approach to everything is only fogged by the twisted logic he adopts where half assed choices are made even after being recognized as such. Personal space is a concept still yet to click, and respecting the feelings of another is rather down on the to-learn list. However he truly cares for others, his lack of expression more so a different perspective of things. Fez for some reason or another is obsessed with birds, constantly using them in descriptions and explanations anyway he can. It's possible that this behavior transferred over from one of the past lives, or is perhaps a combination of the two.

:╫:Power(s): Due to the side-effects of the wizard's spell Fez has gained personal psychíkinesis, allowing him to control his own soul to various lengths: So far he can eject himself spiritually and interact with objects via possession, power up allies using the force of his spirit, and finally, imbue objects with soul-based energy to temporarily boost their durability.

:╫:Why they want to join the Freedom Fighters: In memory the Freedom Fighters are a huge deal, and seemed logically fit for his particular skill-set.

:╫:Extra info:
-
When using his psychíkinesis his body becomes extremely vulnerable.
-Chaos energy and all things involved with it are resistant to Fez's soul.
-Allies with unusual powers can't be spiritually enhanced due to their chaotic nature.
-Physically he's around sixteen, but in reality Fez is a one-year-old.
-A Golden Jackal is Fez's material form.
-Besides some warped retained memories, Fez has almost no idea whats going on in the outside world, so some things may come as a shock to him.
-The tone of which he talks is comparable to that of the Medieval's olden speech.
-Subconsciously he carries himself with a sense of superiority, and contains an infestation of guilt that grows with every passing day. This is related to his life as a prince, and the fact that another soul was sacrificed in order for him to be born.
