Nation Building The New Empires CS

Whoops, fixed it. (Forgot the infantry)

The Priests use magic related to the sky. (Ex. They can summon a blinding light from the skies or call down a rain of hail onto the enemy.)
Are there any major differences between regular infantry and sergeants in terms of equipment, skills, or otherwise?

Sergeants are experienced soldiers, often fulfilling a slightly junior roles to Knights in Medieval Hierarchy. They're better equipped than the average footman, far more experienced, and have some responsibilities given to them.

light blue located in southeastern Aupax

Capitol: Marossi

Brief History: Before the Great Collapse, the city of Marossi was one of the "advanced" cities of the old Aupaxian Empire, located in Ducitora, the southeastern region of the empire. Marossi was the place where Aupaxian engineers, scholars and researchers originated as Marossi was deemed as the "southern capital" of the old Aupaxian Empire due to its architecture similar to Truphia; the capital of the old Aupaxian Empire. During the great collapse, the city of Marossi declared its independence, becoming the Kingdom of Marossi, led by Senator Markus, declaring himself the King of Marossi, the city was relatively untouched due to its position but the city's safety didn't last long and the bandits invaded the city of Marossi which most of the imperial members of the newly-founded Kingdom, including the King, were executed by the bandits, including some of the inhabitants of Marossi who are against the bandit rule. The bandits didn't destroy infrastructures in some parts of Marossi because they weren't stupid enough to destroy such a magnificent city. The Lux clan, a native of Ducitora hailing from the southern Ducitoran city of Tempestate Urbi, they are one of the most powerful and yet the only noble clan in old Aupaxia that practice magic; specifically electrokenesis, they gathered people to overthrow the bandits in Marossi and grabbed their opportunity to retake the city and it was a success, it was led by their lord named Leo Lux although the wounded sole bandit killed Leo by stabbing him in the back several times, his legacy will remained, anyhow, the sole bandit was electrocuted by his wife Azura Lux. His wife, Lady Azura Lux, became the new leader of the clan and occupied Marossi. Soon, Azura established the Empire of Ducitora and proclaimed herself as the Empress of Ducitora. During Ducitora's expansion, Azura always led her armies to battle, becoming an warrior-empress by using her electrokenesis powers. Azura also retained the Aupaxian culture as her family, despite being a Ducitoran, have a heavy Aupaxian heritage that runs to their family. The expansion continue up to this day. Ducitora in sempiternum!

Economy:
Before the Great Collapse, the region of Ducitora, specifically the city of Marossi, was the center of trading hub in the south between the Aupaxian Empire and the wealthy city-state of Andoria. The trading objects were mixed of Aupaxian, Andorian, and Vlyeshi but after the great collapse, only city-states in the Empire of Ducitora are trading with each other and technically not trading with other nations since they don't know that the other nations also exists especially in the post-Great Collapse.

Military:

Overall 33,900 troops (including sailors)

Ducitoran Army

Ducitora Legion (Elite Infantry); currently 5,000 troops. The Ducitora Legion is one of the most deadliest and ruthless unit in the Empire of Ducitora. They are highly trained due to its brutal training starting at the age of 5 in the name of Empress Azura (not all males in Ducitora would became part of the legion, only those who were selected when they're still a child). They are immune to pain because of the brutal training when they were a child, and they know that they are destined to fight and die in the name of the Empress Azura, also they don't possess no emotions at all (except when they met someone they truly love). They are equipped with thick large white-armor, horned head armor and wield pikes that can destroy the armor's breastplate.

Ducitora Warriors (Infantry); currently 8,000 troops. Ducitora Knights are trained men although the starting age would be at 18 years old. These men are lucky enough that they weren't selected to become part of the Legion when they were a child. They are equipped with white-armor and wield swords.

A majority of your army equipped with full plate armor will not really fit in the time period we're in. Full plate armor wasn't invented until atleast the 15th century. Even the most technologically advanced races on Ianerth, the Dwarves, don't have that era of technology yet, they're only 25 years ahead technologically. (We're using 14th century technology BTW).
