-Appearance-
Possesses swooping brown hair that seems to have cultivated a mind of its own. Often, it can be seen puffing out to the sides over his ears, altering his look to more that of a Q-tip than a boy. The front has quite the convenient habit of arching up and away from his hazel eyes, prompting Sam to do little about its aforementioned behavior. If he can see, there's no problem. This is the same attitude he plans to employ for any future facial hair, if it ever comes in. The boy still struggles to grow peach fuzz. Aside from his hair, the boy sports a short but average build, coming in at just under 5' 8".
-Style-
The boy's a sucker for jackets, specifically any kind with insulation. Back in the city, higher up the state, it was bundle up or find a warm subway grate. Sam preferred the first option. Under his jackets, typically beige in color, he likes to wear light fabric long-sleeved shirts. The jacket's already warm enough, and they're easy to push up the arm when you step inside somewhere heated. For pants, jeans do the trick, especially the blue ones.
Aside from clothes, there's one special item he possesses, an item that can be found on him at almost all times. They're a pair of cyan headphones that have certainly seen better days. The cushioned earpieces are nicked, with small lines of stitching running down the seems, and paint beginning to fade around their corners. Despite this, they work as well as the day he bought them, minus maybe a few hiccups hear and there. 'Nothing a tap or two to the ears can't handle. It's certainly no mystery how they ended up in this condition, as most times Sam finds himself walking the streets of Silver Creek, he's listening to them the whole way. It's a recent habit he's picked up, with few friends to talk to he's taken up an interest in music and podcasts to entertain himself on the go.
Personality:
Sam was known at his old school for possessing no filter, a trait he’s brought with him to Silver Creek. He’ll say the first thing that pops into his head, especially when meeting someone for the first time. This paired with his goldfish size attention span makes for some colorful encounters, most of which prove awkward for any others involved. Luckily for Sam, the fallout of his interactions can be used as quite an effective distraction to either distance himself from the whole ordeal, or do a bit of scheming. Yes, believe it or not, this openly airheaded sophomore can have a few goals swimming around in his head…from time to time. Whether it be snatching someone’s lunch, fiddling with something he was explicitly told not to, or pocketing someone else’s knickknacks, most of Sam’s plans bear mixed results. But hey, that’s where the rest of the gang gets to pick up the slack.
History:
Sam only recently moved to Silver Creek, thanks to his father’s promotion from police officer to detective. The Silver Creek station has always been short staffed, and with the town’s history of mysterious happenings, the precinct’s more than happy to take on new blood. There's more too it though. The Roberts, cousins on his dad's side, had long lost their man of the house. While he went off galivanting into the sunset, Ms. Roberts has been constantly teetering on the edge of financial ruin. Sam was never particularly close with them, hardly being able to recall their last meeting, but his father felt it necessary that they leant a hand. Now, fresh out of the city, the two find themselves shacking up with the Roberts for the time being. While Sam’s father sees the move as only temporary, describing it as a just a bump in the road, Sam is still adjusting to small town life. His only friends are the gang, and they’re more acquaintances at the moment. He’s still very much missing the city. Plus, there doesn’t seem to be an honest to goodness deli anywhere in town.
In truth, he should have seen a move like this coming. After his parent’s divorce, mom became distant and dad threw himself into his work. Of course when given the chance to transfer his father would take it. It didn't help that his cousin, Ms. Roberts, is currently in a period of financial strife. It's an odd feeling that Sam harbors for that family, he understands why his father moved to Silver Creek to help, but damnit they could have gone anywhere else with his promotion. If he had to leave the city with his old man, he'd at least prefer the two of them be able to choose where they ended up. Regardless, mom’s still in the Queens and now he and dad are a hundred or so miles out in the middle of nowhere. If Simon talked to his father about the issue, he’d say something along the lines of “It's only temporary, hang tight.” but that’s far easier said than done. Especially easier for the city cop who just got a promotion, a reason to move in with family, and a ticket away from his ex-wife.

Personality: Daisy is a pretty well-liked person, mostly because she's generally nice to be around. While most might have preconceptions about the 'nice girl' and 'queen bee', Daisy blurs those lines in town. She's fairly well-known in school, mostly due to her wonderful attitude and willingness to get to know someone. Most cliques have strayed from their core values since Daisy was old enough to attend. She's usually clear on what she says and what she wants and can be incredibly passionate about something she cares for, be it a hobby or a friend.
Daisy can also be innately curious and headstrong at times, a trait she gets from her father. Daisy is also someone who's naturally adept at a variety of things, but master of none. While she enjoys casual sports such as tennis and swimming, her favorite hobby is cycling. She's only ever owned two bikes in her life, both of which were and are used as much as possible.
Daisy also enjoys the more mundane aspects of life. Her hobbies, for example, include three potted flowers she cares for in her bedroom, a good game of pool or darts, and most kinds of festivals or fairs.
Background: Daisy's family has a bit of a stake in Silver Creek. Her history extends to an early ancestor many years back on her mother's side, a businesswoman named Patience St. Plum. Since then, the Plums, now the Bells, have done very well for themselves. Daisy's mother is a well-to-do real estate agent who sometimes has work outside of town, which pays well; Daisy's father is a roboticist, computer scientist, as well as tech lab teacher at her high school. While the Bells could indeed be in the upper class of Silver Creek, they're very modest for their income, usually saving it for holiday trips.
Other: Daisy's fashion style varies widely, though she very much enjoys shades of blue, specifically shades of cyan and teal.
