Ah, hello! Welcome to my search thread, fellow writers. I'm Camille or Cami, a twenty-something college student with enough plot bunnies to fill a pet store. Hopefully, some of the lovely people on this site won’t mind indulging me, and my furryenemiesfriends, in their whims. But anyway, let me give some information about my writing and schedule, then we can move onto the more interesting sections.
♡ ─ I would consider myself Lit to Adv. Lit, but of course, those titles are subjective. I’ll let you form your own opinion if we get around to roleplaying. All I can say is that my word count tends to hover around 600-900 with a cap of maybe 2000.
♡ ─ My writing style is reminiscent of Stephen King and Cassandra Clare (in The Mortal Instruments series). You can probably see the influences of other authors as well, though, such as Madeline Miller, Leigh Bardugo, and Donna Tartt.
♡ ─ Third person and past tense are preferred, as I have no experience with first person or present tense. Of course, I'd be willing to attempt it, with a little convincing, if it’s what you’re more comfortable with. Just expect a couple of mistakes.
♡ ─ Regarding how often I post, it’s usually one or two times a week. Sometimes more, if I’m really into whatever the plot is. Sometimes less, if life is a little busier/more chaotic than usual. I’ll inform you when the latter happens, of course. i don’t like ghosting people all that much.
ABOUT- The asterisks are my level of interest. One means I'm craving it and two means I'd give you my firstborn for it. No asterisks just means that, while I'd love to roleplay it, it's not something I'm super excited about.

INTERESTS
I know, I know. Rules aren't exactly fun to read. Still, they're necessary to have, for my enjoyment and comfort, and for yours as well. Please read all of them before contacting me.
♡ ─ You have to be LGBTQ+ friendly, even if we're not doing romance. It makes me uncomfortable otherwise, considering just how many people in my life are a part of that community. This isn't to say that your characters can't be homophobic or transphobic, though, as I don't mind that too much. Just don't expect me or my characters to like them.
♡ ─ I don't roleplay with anyone under the age of seventeen. I'm twenty-four years old, and roleplaying with anyone younger than seventeen is just too weird for me. I will, however, happily talk to anyone (regardless of their age) about roleplaying and am willing to hand out advice or just general positivity if you need it. I'm the mom of my friend group if you couldn't tell.
♡ ─ Feel free to ghost, really! As someone that has social anxiety, I understand how difficult it can be to tell someone that you're losing interest, that you're simply not the partner for them, or that real life isn't going too well. So, once again, don't feel bad about disappearing. It isn't a big deal, in my opinion.
♡ ─ Give me some form of literacy. Pretty please? I honestly never know how to work with short replies. One-liners especially! I won't reply to those. Sorry! I just don't know what to say or write in response. Two hundred words, as a minimum, would be nice. More is always appreciated, though.
RULES
These plots are just random ones I've had sitting around for a while. We don't have to do them by any means. Feel free to ask for my other hoarded plots or come with your own!
♡ ─ Muse A is a struggling artist who gets a lucky break after a chance encounter with a dead body. A wealthy art collector who specializes in morbid pieces presses Muse A for more and more work. Muse B is Muse A’s neighbor and has been modeling for a portrait when they discover that the object of their affection has started killing people to fulfill their commissions (credit: fiinalgiirls-a on tumblr)
♡ ─ Muse A is a well-known toymaker, or rather, a doll maker to be more specific. They spend their days making breath-taking porcelain dolls that are incredibly lifelike. Frighteningly so. These creations are almost too realistic and make most customers second guess whether they should actually be purchased. Muse A would prefer not to sell any of their precious works, but they must only ensure that they’ll be able to continue with their art; after all, doll-making is a pain-staking and costly love.
One day, Muse A receives a commission from a mysterious customer who promises to pay Muse A handsomely if they use parts supplied by their own company. Muse A fancies themselves as a purist and is reluctant at first, but they can’t deny that the money they are offered would allow them to comfortably continue making dolls well into their twilight years. So, Muse A accepts the commission and begins to craft a new doll with these imported parts. As they start to craft, it quickly becomes apparent that this one is different. Every fine hair on their pretty, little head to their expressive eyes framed with full, long lashes, down to their cute feet. This doll is perfect.
By the time this doll is completed, Muse A isn’t sure that they can sell it; they’ve become attached to their most perfect creation. Despite Muse A’s pleas to the wealthy customer, the buyer insists that they pack up the doll for shipping immediately, and with a heavy heart, Muse A complies. However, in the morning, Muse A discovers that the doll Muse B is sitting atop the box, rather than inside where they’ve put them the night before. Muse B is curious to know why they were in a box, so they simply ask a startled Muse A. Muse A is both frightened and amazed to discover that Muse B has come to life overnight. ♡ ─ Muse A is the child of a wealthy man living in a seaside town; they’ve always been afraid of the sea yet oddly fascinated by it. When Muse A was a child, the ship they were sailing on was attacked by pirates, and they were barely able to escape. Although the lure of the sea has always been there, Muse A has since refused to ever board another ship. Several years after their brush with pirates, in the dead of night, a suspicious ship sets anchor a little ways away from shore. Pirates make landfall and begin to pillage and plunder the town. The militia stationed in the town are quick to react, and a fierce battle breaks out. With the perfect distraction created, the captain of the ship, Muse B, heads for the most opulent-looking manor.
Muse B breaks into Muse A’s home and begins to raid Muse A’s late mother’s jewelry. In an attempt to stop Muse B, Muse A steals one of their father’s swords and holds the pirate at sword point. Since Muse A has never had any kind of training, they are easily overpowered by Muse B. Upon taking a closer look at Muse A, Muse B decides that they are worth far more than any bejeweled trinkets. So Muse B offers a proposition; in exchange for ending the bloodshed and leaving port, Muse A must come aboard Muse B’s ship as a captive. Muse A is terrified, but they are kind-hearted and wish to protect their town, so they reluctantly agree. So now Muse A must face their fears and leave their life behind. How will they fare, and what will their relationship be like with Muse B? (credit: plotsforall on tumblr)
♡ ─ Muse A lives in a small town just a stone's throw away from a dense forest called the Whispering Woods. Every afternoon, especially in the fall, when the leaves are changing color, and the air is crisp, Muse A likes to walk through the woods on their way home. Muse A sits on the kissing rock at the mouth of the woods, straps up their boots, and inhales the fresh pine before embarking on the winding path to the log bridge. As Muse A crosses the log bridge, one foot over the over, they enjoy the soft ‘whispers’ (for which the woods are named after) of the meandering creek below. The whispers always seem louder in October for some reason, almost comprehensible. Townspeople like to say it’s because the woods are haunted by spirits, but Muse A’s never been the superstitious type. They’ve been frequenting the woods since they were a kid and nothing spooky has ever happened to them before.
One afternoon, Muse A encounters Muse B in the thick of the towering pines. Muse B looks lost and disheveled as if they haven’t had a shower or a proper meal in a few days. Concerned for the unfamiliar wanderer, Muse A offers to guide Muse B out of the woods, back to civilization. Muse B instead asks Muse A to stay with them for a while; they want to visit the log bridge, their favorite place. Muse A can see that Muse B is the lonely sort, so they agree to walk to the bridge with Muse B; they were headed there anyway. When the pair arrive at the bridge, Muse B struggles to recall why they found this spot so special, or anything about who they are at all to make conversation with Muse A, but they can’t remember. Muse A insists on helping Muse B leave the woods, worried that Muse B might be suffering from amnesia or something worse, but when Muse A gets to the edge of the woods, Muse B, who they thought was right behind them, is nowhere to be found.
Muse A calls out for Muse B for several minutes and gets no response. The sun is going down, and the chill in the air is biting through Muse A’s coat, so they go home. They barely sleep that night, thinking about Muse B and hoping they’re alright, wherever they are. Bright and early the next morning, Muse A returns to the woods, hoping to find Muse B again. Muse B is there at the foot of the log bridge, waiting for Muse A, unsure of how they got there or what’s keeping them bound to these woods. Muse B is a ghost but doesn’t know it. ♡ ─ The year is 2124. Due to extremely limited resources and overpopulation of the planet, once people reach a specific age, they must be euthanized. Upon a person’s Xth birthday, people must report to a sleep facility where they will be put to sleep by a sweet-smelling toxin. The only people exempt from this fate are enforcers of the law, who are in charge of tracking down those who attempt to escape. Muse A is an infamous enforcer with a nearly impeccable record of captures, and Muse B is a rebellious citizen who has just turned of age. Muse B has learned of a secret sanctuary for people who have successfully escaped and continue to live out their days in an underground society. They assemble only the bare essentials for survival and begin the journey, but with Muse A hot on their trail, will Muse B be able to evade them long enough to join the handful of others who have successfully disappeared? (credit: plotsforall on tumblr)
♡ ─ Muse A and Muse B wake one day to find that everyone has mysteriously disappeared. Both characters, however, find it relatively easy to adjust to this sudden abandonment, not quite liking other people much anyway. The two begin to wander through their city, breaking into homes and digging through the things that people left behind, taking food and clothes and electronics from stores they would otherwise not be able to afford, and just generally messing around and having tons of fun. Except, after a while, things take a turn for the worst. Everyone who left returns, but they are not the same. Perpetually smiling and seemingly oblivious to the fact that they had left their homes and jobs in the first place, they resume their lives as they were before. But after a while, they realize that Muse A and Muse B aren't like them...and that must be rectified. (credit: anomxly on tumblr)
