Seyren Stouthart
Pokemon Venipede
Age 25

Appearance Seyren, even as a Venipede, has an odd tinge of toxic green splashed across his hard body, meshing the usual red body of his with a fine, glistening powdered scales of green. Carved into his face, however, was a clear, solid scar running across his face, in between the eyes. He also has a singular golden ring around his forearm, generally well-hidden when he tucks his arms underneath the shell.

Personality Full of contradictions, Seyren has to put on a facade to everything that he is not. While he shows himself to be tough, brave, sociable and understanding, he is actually easily embarrassed and flustered, uncomfortable around crowds and extremely so around females, a typical introvert, cowardly at times, and generally a nuisance to those that do not desire his existence. Also has a bad habit of being overtly probing and insensitive to what others are thinking, and especially unable to read the mood, which had gotten him into multiple troubles before.

Skills He is skilled in medicine, biology and the physiology of the human body, and know enough about Pokemon to administer first-aid. A licensed paramedic, he is more skilled in toxicology and has general inquisitive skills, as well as a sharp eye from his job as a private detective. He is also minorly versed in herbology.

History Born in Lavander Town, Kanto, but moved to Castelia City, Unova when he was a child, Seyren was born to an enterprising father and an abusive mother. He would constantly be slapped and be used as a venting outlet by his mother in her anger that the father could not spend more time with the family, which was the beginning of Seyren's turn from a bubbly young kid into an introvert, an outcast to the world. At the moment he turned 10, Seyren left Castelia City with a friend of his and went to find Professor Juniper, who happened to stop by Castelia City for a scheduled interview. She gave him his first pokemon, a Venipede, and with that, Seyren set out as a trainer. He was not too shabby as a trainer, which saw him spending more time talking with his Pokemon than with other humans, which further worsened his introvert personality. Underneath his belt, he personally had three badges. But it was the love of his life that stopped him from going further as a Trainer, when he discovered that he loved working with chemicals, especially poison. If he was unsociable before, his eventual nosedive into the world of toxins and poisons as well as medicine would leave him even more shunned, perhaps due to the nature of his subject of study. Far from being eccentric, he emerged after ten years of study and certifications to be a qualified pharmacist, first-aid administrator and a licensed field medic. But then again, due to his persoanlity of being a loner, he finds working with his fellow peers and colleagues to be unnerving, and that got him into trouble with a hospital for humans. He quit his job, and took up a part-time job for a run-down detective agency. Work was tough, but it allowed him to see into the darker world of crimes and the underworld. He was tempted, but whimpered out when he got into a scuffle with one of the local thugs. Not being able to continue his work with his reputation ruined in Unova, Seyren caught the ship back home to Lavander Town, Kanto, where he established his own personal odd-jobs agency, scraping by with whatever little jobs that he would receive, and the occasional patient visit, mostly to poor people who could ill-afford to pay the expensive medical bills.

Relationships While his parents are alive, he had not contacted them over the years, and had no intention to contact them at all. His only point of contact with any of the Pokemon Professors were only that one time with Professor Juniper, who gave him his Venipede. However, he formed a very close bond with his Venipede, who eventually evolved into Scolipede. His relationships with the people in Lavander Town were neutral, though the poor regarded him as someone who is very misunderstood.

"Thank you so much again, Mr Stouthart!", a young woman in her late twenties thanked a shaggy-looking young man in a white coat. "I dare not think what would happen to my grandmother if you had not answered my call!"

"Pl--please make sure Mrs Flincher gets plenty of r--rest, and d--d--do not administer more than a pill at a time," the young man said to the woman, visibly trying to slink away from the overbearing warmth the woman was giving. After a short and curt bow, Seyren shuffled off as fast as his tired legs could take him. What he only ever wanted to do was to go back home, and away from this ominous-looking moon. He could not put an educated guess on the word that he could use to describe the feeling, as every other word he tried to describe it did not capture it entirely. Only thing he could pin the moon on is just the word, "ominous".

In actuality, Seyren had not been feeling well at all. He found himself unable to even leave the bed at times, what with his legs failing him. It was merely his knowledge and self-administration of herbal remedies that slightly re-energized him, and even that was a stretch. He found himself ever needing to resort to the Energy Root mixture on every other occasion, and though some of his patients even said that he looked worse than them, he could only guess that was about true. But if he could not see to his patients' needs, who would? They could not afford the expensive medical services of larger hospitals, and that was where he founded that small business of his. He cared about how his patients were doing, but he knew in a way that he might not last from this strange affliction either. He himself had been spending whatever minute of his free time digging back into old cases or even the medical library, and none of them had the same description of this affliction, this weakening situation. Even folklore said nothing about this sort of curse, and as a man of medicine, he would rather not believe that mumbo-jumbo.

His sight faded as he slowly approached his home. "This is it I guess," Seyren thought as he stumbled into his sorry excuse of a house. Feeling weak, he could not even reach his fingers into his coat pocket to grab the Energy Root powder. His breathing slowly turned shallow, and the only thing he could hear was his Scolipede's sharp appendages tapping on the wooden floor, ever coming closer. "I guess I'm just food now," Seyren wondered as his consciousness slowly started to fade, and the only thing left he could feel was something sharp biting into his back.

-------------

The smell of fresh earth and grass tickled his nose as Seyren slowly regained consciousness. His memories were hazy at best, but as he slowly regained his composure, he was struck with a sudden immediate revelation: his house was gone. Alarmed, Seyren tried to get up, only to feel earth and grass underneath him, and he was not getting any higher off the ground, and his arms already at their maximum stretch. Looking down, he could only see the soil and grass extremely close to his face. "What the heck?" Seyren screamed, only to hear a familiar but also alien sound escaping his mouth: Venipede. Already suspecting but dreading the worse, he slowly turned his head to inspect his body and he was proven right, though he wished it was not. He was now a Venipede!

"What's going on? How did this happen? Did Scolipede do this?" Seyren was stunned, his mind raced to find the most logical answer he could find, and found nothing. But the rustling of leaves from the treetops alerted him to another more immediate issue. He is food to the Flying-types around here, and he had no intention of becoming the breakfast worm to them. And now the very notion of trying to move became foreign to him. He felt like a newborn baby trying to run, and with this many legs, how he became a Venipede became the least of his worries.

Quinn Albloom
Pokemon Vulpix (Alolan)
Age 22

Appearance Snow white fur is kept true to the original, except for the accents tufts of fluff around her ears and feat, holding an almost midnight blue. Her eyes also follow this color. being a darker magenta than the muted lavender grey. Around her left leg sits a metal bracelet, impossible to take off now in this new form.

Personality Never holding a grudge, Quinn forgives easily and has always ignores what others do and say, unless it involved her own well being. She is mostly kind and social when it comes to interacting with others, but at the end of the day she prefers her own company than others.

Skills She can figure out new languages with time and effort, puzzles being on the same line. Her history as an archaeologist assists with her unending curiosity, pursuing new information and history at any chance. Her understanding of history in her homeland is impressive and still growing.

Alolan Vulpix.jpg
History Quinn grew up in Lilycove, a small city that sat in the region of Hoenn. There she spent most of her childhood days with her mother. Her father had left for a job out in the Alola region, but soon they had lost contact with him. Even with her father gone, her mother was always smiling, raising Quinn with love and compassion. When Quinn had reached the age of 14 she was finally able to see past her mothers love and see the truth. As it turns out, juggling a child and two jobs takes a toll out of a person. Even with the understanding of situation Quinn couldn't do anything, not even when she was at the foot of her pending death. A looming building several stories high, with her mother at the top, eyes filled with blank depression. Even then Quinn couldn't say or do anything. All she could do was watch as she plummeted to the hard stone below. Her neighbors were happy to take in the child, but Quinn knew she couldn't stay with them forever. four years had passed when she said goodbye, finally saving up enough money to head out to the Alola Region. She didn't know what to expect when getting there, who to find or what they were doing. Maybe a man in his mid 40's, drunk in a parking lot after a night in the bar. But when she got to there all she found was a small apartment filled with dust and papers. It was half finished work from moths before then, and no one she asked knew where he had gone. Not the neighbors, the police, not even the landlord of the apartments knew. He had just up an vanished without trace. Quinn took up the work, following where he had left off in hopes of finding where he had gone.

Relationships Quinn only had her parents before her father had left and her mother had died. Even though she has no family contact, she was fairly close with an elderly couple who lived next door. They both took care of her for a couple of years after Quinn's mother had committed suicide and had helped her when she set off to Alola. She saw them more as grandparents than as neighbors, their support helping her recover quickly from the emotional shock.

RP Sample

The week had been slow with the heat rolling in the summer sickness sinking low. Quinn had just finished a pile of paper work for the local museum when the phone started to make its annoying chimes. She knew it was the police station, the continuous rings after the first round confirming her thoughts. She didnt want to go out yet, her body feeling heavy and sluggish. It had been this way for a while, hindering her usual work flow down to a snails pace. She wanted to work harder but she found herself zoning off more and more, not even coffee shots seemed to energize her anymore. Quinn slowly grabbed the phone and put it to her ear, ready to painfully accept whatever job was given to her.

And Quinn was right, it was a job on Poni Island to check out the ruins. Most of the requests that came to her were like this, strange things happening in the ruins. It was almost always just pokemon doing their usual business. Quinn couldn't complain, she always liked the ruins so going there was no problem. But today she seemed to be extra tired, getting up from the chair was the most difficult task she had done all day. The trip to Poni Island was no better, the boat practically lulled her off to dreamland, but if the past nights wouldn't grant her rest, now was not the time to take it.

When she got to the ruins it was almost night, the stars ahead already peaking through the faintly lit sky. The moon was there too, but the clouds wrapped around the strange orb made it hard to see. The ruins sat atop a very intimidating hill, making her sigh with exhaustion from just looking at it. But Quinn wasn't one to just give up on a difficult task, she pulled up her sleeves and headed up the steep mountain like hill. Getting to the top seemed impossible, but once she did, she felt like she had climbed up 40 flights of stairs.

By the time she was in front of the ruins it was already late into the night, the moon now clearly visible and lighting up the surrounding landscape. The look was strange, making Quinn's gut do back flips. She decided that it would be best to set up camp and sleep for the night, even if she did want to complete her assignment now, she didn't want to be caught up in a bad omen. Quinn was able to get the tent up and a make shift bed before crashing, ignoring the need for a camp fire. Her vision faded black, darkness hitting her like a truck. It was an unnatural darkness, making her feel uneasy before she felt nothing at all.
-=========================================================================================================================================================-
Quinn's eyes snapped open, eyes falling to an open sky of night. Looking around she immediately noticed the drastic change in environment. Not only was she not in her tent, she was drastically smaller than she was use to. All she could truly see was tall grass and dirt under her, her paws? It seemed that size wasn't the only thing that had changes, her whole skeletal structure seemed to be different. A new set of appendages swished from behind her, and noise wasn't getting filtered in from the side of her head any more.

She stood up, swaying a bit from having changed from bipedal to quadrupedal. Moving was easy to get a hang of though, it was basically the same as crawling as a human, but instead with even leverage of legs. Walking was the very bottom of concern though, a flurry of noises surrounding her were adding a sense of threat. Not only was she somewhere completely different, but she was small enough to become a snack to most things. She headed off slow at first, careful not to make too much noise. But her desire to get somewhere with more height and visibility grew stronger with the sound of potential danger.

Name Andy Richter
Pokemon What Pokemon have you turned into? Azurill
Age How old are you? 17

Appearance --Note any differences from an average member of the species, including height, weight, accessories, and any odd markings or coloration.-- Is slightly taller than the normal species (18inches instead of the normal 8 inches for Azurills) and the ball end of the tail is a white color, done in a star shape at the center taking up most of the space. The outer edges of the ball tail are still the normal blue, however.

Personality --Give a quick elevator-pitch of the biggest parts of your character’s personality. Two sentences should suffice.-- Andy is eager to observe the world around him and somewhat inquisitive. That inquisitiveness has made him very bright in terms of knowledge of nature but has also led to an unhealthy sense of danger because of it. Due to still being young, he is still a little naive, which results in him falling for pranks, such as April Fools pranks. However, when this does happen, he will see it as a learning experience and, in fact occasionally going along with it knowing full well that it’s a prank for the sake of humor. One example of this comes from Ratattas or other prankster pokémon hiding his items all over Mahogany Town, the pokémon themselves belonging to other trainers. The scavenger hunts don't bother him as he sees the pokémon as being playful or silly. Andy has high morals and won't allow anything to happen to his friends, going out of his way to try and settle disputes between other locals, even though it's clearly none of his business, telling the truth whenever he does something wrong, or just being around for people that have had bad days. This does lead to him getting into some sticky situations, however, such as people ignoring Andy during a dispute, at which point he will leave them alone. Andy will start out shy to any person or pokèmon but will gradually warm up to them as time goes on and strive above most things to keep his friends happy, beware he will run away from anyone that lashes out at him. Battle-wise Andy favors being more on the defensive side, envisioning pokémon battles to be more like chess matches rather than matches of power preferring to pick his opponents apart with strategy instead.

Skills --Are you skilled with computers? Is poetry your thing? Are you trained in the maintenance of cars? Anything related to your vocation and any hobbies you’re good at should go here.-- Andy is more of the survivalist type to a degree, he is quite adept at harvesting berries as well as a competent chef. The main job he was focused on was breeding pokemon. That may not be so necessary in itself but it did give him some experience in handling little pokemon.

298Azurill.png
History --Give a quick overview of your character’s past. Did they amount to anything as a trainer? Do they come from a rich, or poor family? What are the main beats in their life story so far?— Born into a quaint, moderately sized house in Mahogany Town Andy was an introvert at the start of his childhood, clinging mainly to his parents, Bob and Martha Richter for protection due to extreme shyness. This led to him being homeschooled and learning basic reading, writing, and math from them. The parents wanted him to make some friends with any other kids at their favorite spot, which also happens to be where the parents met, Corsola Cove, around Mt Mortar, dubbed that due to the abundance of Corsola present. However, if they tried to help him, he would run away without saying a word with a very scared expression on his face, thus leading the local kids in Mahogany to label him an oddball. This continued until age 6 during one routine day at Andy's new favorite area. He was busy making little designs in the sand, with his parents watching him while they were lounging around. That is until a Water Ball pokémon popped its head out of the water. The Azurill, as identified by Mr. and Mrs. Richter, who still carried pokèdexes just in case, merrily bounced up to the trio with a squeak. This was Andy's first encounter with a pokémon so initially, he recoiled away from it. The Aqua Mouse Pokémon just waved its bouncy tail at him, smiled and squeaked once more which made Andy more cautious now more than afraid as he reached out to pet the Marill which it took full comfort in. Bob and Martha saw this occur and became overjoyed that their bundle of nerves seemed to have taken a shine to a pokémon and potential new friend. After a whole day of play by Andy and his new found poké-friend, Azurill, the Richters got ready to return to Mahogany Town. Before they left, she squeaked again, waved using that tail of hers and walked back into the lake. From then on, Andy slowly became more outgoing. By age 10, thanks to repeated visits to see Azurill, he was at least being more vocal with the Mahogany Town locals, unless it was the first time meeting a person, in that case, he would start out timid, but warm up to him or her after a few minutes of conversation. Andy's homeschooling was going well too, he was learning Middle School levels of reading, writing, and math. Though he was homeschooling well, he wasn't as interested as much. His love of nature though never really diminished still wanting to go to places along Johto such as Corsola Cove, Ecruteak City, and Olivine City, as well as keeping an eye on his neighbors' potted plants. During the year before his 16th birthday, Andy’s adventurous side started showing up. He would sneak out during the night to explore the areas around Mahogany; not going too much farther than that because he didn't want to worry his mom and dad, he was very respectful of them after all. He yearned to head to rest of the Johto region learning about the many cultures and pokémon present throughout with his own pokémon, little did he know they both were planning quite a surprise for him. On his 16th birthday, the parents let him have a chance at his own adventure, before all that though, was the usual happy birthday Andy followed by the birthday cake and presents which included a backpack, a shell bell, a flashlight as well as a very special, secret surprise that Andy's parents decided to keep secret from him, a certain blue mouse. The soon-to-be breeder was very excited about all the goodies till he remembered he still needed a pokémon. Suddenly, he heard a familiar sounding squeak. He lit up like a Blitzle charging up a Thunder attack. He picked up the Aqua Mouse and paraded around the house and hugged it followed by the parents for getting his first real friend. Andy became ecstatic, he now had everything he needed to start his adventure; with that, he bolted out the door with all the gifts and Aquamarine, an affectionate name for his first pokémon, in tow after one last goodbye hug from his parents. To think this all started upon meeting a tiny little blue mouse.

Relationships --Enumerate your character’s meaningful relationships. Are their parents alive? Have they had a run-in with Team Rocket? Is Professor Oak their Gramps? Think broad here, as this helps me build cool stuff for your character.-- The main thing is that both his parents are still alive, As well as the daycare couple that did provide a few tips on how to care for these creatures, though most of this comes from the experience he has. As all of the pokemon in his daycare are actually his, and the fact that his daycare is still very new, others usually leave their pokemon with the original daycare couple.

--This is the most important part, as far as I am concerned. Describe your character’s week leading up to the transformation, in RP form. Give us some insight into how your character thinks, their previous circumstances, and how they handle the immediate stress of waking up in their new form.—

Things had been going well for Andy in terms of his little blooming daycare in his little town of Maghony, while he had no actual building like usual daycare workers, that didn't bug him in the slightest, as he preferred the pokemon to have room to roam around the area.

The week mainly consisted of feeding the few pokemon he had some berries and poffins before heading off to route 44 to harvest a few berries to ensure he didn't just up and run out of them. That goes well but then Aqua, his Marill at this time who had never been one to pull pranks was day by day getting more mischievous, it didn't help that sleep was becoming something of a chore for him to try and accomplish as if his body circadian rhythm just suddenly upended itself without warning. Natural sleep continued to elude him, eventually having his parents intervene and run the small daycare for him.

That intervention only served to throw him into a depressed slump, "Why the pecha berry can't I sleep all of a sudden?" he pondered just laying his bed staring up at the ceiling, thoughts being way too muddled due to lack of sleep to process aside from basic human functions, and so this deterioration continued. Andy wasn't the only one affected by this, the few others in the little daycare patch which consisted of a Skiddo, Mareep and a Swablu got increasingly more rowdy, biting the hands of Bob or Martha, turning away from food altogether, or even driving them away with various moves. They did figure something was wrong but didn't know what and didn't have the heart to tell him that his friends were reverting back to being feral somehow.

From here things get downright heartbreaking for the boy, on top of the current problems: his lack of sleep, now stretching to its 7th day, the pokemon were being downright wild now, not taking any food and trying to tear not just the house, but the entire town apart. Just what was going on here? Aquamarine herself proved to be Andy's undoing when she entered his room that day, nothing unusual about that...until she started crooning a song he didn't recognize, or maybe couldn't due to being sleep deprived. He gave a little smile at her, eyes barely open but still unable to fully close as she continued singing. The song eventually works with Andy finally heading to snooze...

Upon waking up from what was a 8 hour long snooze, Andy gave a glance around the area feeling more rested than he had ever felt during the previous week: green grass, a pond with blue water in it-- wait what? "How did I end up here?!" he squeaked looking down to see a ball that's white in the center, done in a star shape with the outer section being blue. However, each step had him tumble on the grass like a weed, the 'ball' appearing before his eyes during one of these tries. It's only then that he looks himself over and squeaks to high heaven. "What in Arceus' name happened to me?! I don't remember being this tiny yesterday!" The poor mouse in such a state of confusion and fright that he is scared stiff, literality.

Willam Turingson
Pokemon Ralts
Age 20

Appearance William as a human was much shorter and thinner than the average population, and this still holds true even in his new form as Ralts. Short even the stature of a Ralts instead of the average just over a foot height, William clocks in as just peaking over half a foot tall. There is a patch on his arm that is much redder than a white, reflecting the burn scar he wore on his person as a human. Instead of the normally pinkish red eyes of a normal Ralts, William’s eyes are a dark blue in color, much like the sky moments before the sun comes over the horizon in the morning.

Personality William’s weak physical body sure was more than made up for in sheer force of personality. A charismatic and intelligent individual he is able to quickly defuse most tense social situations. Although he comes off as extremely charming and trustworthy he is anything but, a cunning and very deceiving individual. Full of secrets and information from the darker parts of society, although this is completely due to the role in the world that he decided to play. He isn’t against working with others, but he does prefer a party that will do their best to get the job done swiftly and efficiently.

Skills In his life, William played the role of thief. His skills and tools of his trade have honed him into becoming incredibly sneaky and coordinated. He can find out information about others through conventional means such as getting it out of another person or stalking them without bringing himself much notice and of course like many people in his trade, he became proficient in lockpicking. He does have of some minor hacking skills, able to break into other’s protected computers and digital accounts without too much trouble, but this does take some time based on how much Cyber Security there is.

250px-280Ralts.png
History Born and raised in Castelia City, Unova William lived a cushioned life. One that was mostly devoid of danger and injury, free of crime and unlawfulness. Of course, like most children who live a sheltered life due to his overprotective parents, they began seeking their sources of risk from, other sources. These sources were reasonable at first, such as extracurricular sporting activities and parties with other peoples. But soon enough he began to become addicted to the thrill and high that came with high risk stressful events. Soon he moved from regular sports to parkour, and then to illegal activities. These illegal activities started out small, such as shoplifting small non-luxury items. The first time that he had tried shoplifting was extremely stressful and exhilarating. But once he succeeded in his small stealing quest he became extremely excited and soon his petty crimes started to escalate. He started to steal more and more expensive items, and eventually, he made the decision to make the leap and go from petty shoplifting to burglary. He learned how to pick locks and acquired a set of lock picks, and soon set out looking for his first target. This was at the age of 18, and it was moderately he was able to break into the targeted home using his lockpicks to unlock the door, and stole a few small items, things that were bound not to be noticed to be gone. This was just to test the waters of the world of burglary, and like all the other activities, he became addicted to the thrill of the act of doing the crime. He never was really caught until one night where he was robbing a home, someone had set fire to the place to try and kill the inhabitants that lived there, but they have left the house free for the picking much earlier for a medical emergency. So William was the victim of the fire and he managed to get out of the building alive but at the expense of severely burning his right arm. He then went to the hospital for treatment, and he spun a lie about how he accidentally tripped and his arm landed in a bonfire his family was having. His family was having a party in their backyard and decided that while they were partying that they could burn their trash in the fire. Everyone there became exceptionally drunk when he left for his minor heist, so he was able to convince his parents he got burned by the bonfire when he was tending it after everyone went to sleep that night, and he went to the hospital to receive treatment himself. The lie was taken at face value and accepted with a small moment of hesitation. William decided that he would take a break from his criminal habits for a while, at least until his injury healed. The burn eventually turned into a scar over a few months. To avoid being questioned about it too much, he began to wear and grow quite fond of long-sleeved shirts, and eventually, he began. To resume his criminal habits, but slowly to get back into the swing of things, although it was much faster than when he started. Although here is when he decided that it would be easier to commit these crimes with a partner, so he was able to procure himself a Gastly, a Pokémon most suited for the job. Although now these criminal expeditions were much shorter in duration, as well as much further in between each occurrence. But the time he received the ghost typed Pokémon, he had extreme troubles falling asleep, as well as staying asleep as well, putting an end to his rampage of thievery. As his mind had been befuddled of a lack of sleep, he could remember only little scraps and pieces of anything. But one major thing that he remembered hearing in this period was that he heard that the moon stopped moving in the sky. In his latest memory, he was trying and failing to sleep like many of the nights beforehand. But that night while laying there his Gastly attack him, moving slowly but persistently toward William’s form. Attacking him forcing William into a sleep-like state, which William accepted desperate with sleep.

Relationships Mother – His mother is doesn’t know of his criminal habits, but they do have a very strong and loving relationship and will hang out like friends would, with his father as well. Father – Has a very similar relationship with his father like he has with his mother. --This is the most important part, as far as I am concerned. Describe your character’s week leading up to the transformation, in RP form. Give us some insight into how your character thinks, their previous circumstances, and how they handle the immediate stress of waking up in their new form.—

Exhausted, that was the only thought that William could bring to his mind.

For the past week, his mental and physical energy had been on an extremely steep decline. He hasn’t been able to sleep in any sort of capacity, he didn’t even get any of those micro-sleeps that people that have when they are extremely deprived of sleep. He couldn’t pass out or fall unconscious from physical bashes to his skull. He’s been sent him from his college classes daily for that week and told to get some sleep, which William would submit to if he physically was capable of. He had tried every remedy he could think of, tea, melatonin, even seclusion in pitch darkness, but still not even a wink of sleep.

“Ughhhhhhhhhh, I swear I’m going to kill someone…” William said into his pillow, face down still trying fruitlessly to get even a millisecond of shut-eye.

He wished so badly that he could get back to his regular daily routine. Or at least even a part of it! Most particularly the biweekly thievery trips, but he would be willing to drop that thrill in his life at the moment to get some damned sleep! Eventually, he gave up on sleep and walked into the well decorated flat that his parent’s owned, both of which were away on a business trip, but would be back by the end of the week. William strolled into the kitchen and started an afternoon brew of coffee, sick of feeling so exhausted he hoped that the dose of caffeine and starch would help. He whipped up some hash browns that were a little worse for wear but lack of sleep does make one a bit more neglectful. Either way when he finished up his haphazard meal he took a quick shower, hoping the heated liquid cascading down his body would help him feel better and quickly changed clothes and gathered a few items for an outing in the city. He walked a few steps out the front door, only to turn right around and go back to his bed due to a new wave of exhaustion. “I’m never getting out of this house, am I?”

Soon he felt an extremely cold and familiar presence float above at his shoulder. “Hey bud, what are you doing?”

But Gastly didn’t respond with a normal snuggle or one of his loving cry but, remind silent.

“What’s the mat-” those were the words he managed to get out before his own Gastly smothered him with its own poisonous gaseous body. Forcing William into unconsciousness.

The most well-rested William had felt in days he soon found himself being awoken by warmth from bright light. Slowly blinking the sleep away from his eyes although he remembered that he fell asleep in his bed but night outside. He sat up and observed his surroundings, finding himself in a large empty field with a few other stray things here and there. But then he noticed something, his hand’s didn’t feel quite right, and everything seemed much bigger than it should’ve been, and the grass seemed much closer. He looked at his hands only to find white arms that ended in stumps for appendages. He shouted, only to realize what he was, due to the sound that came from his mouth, strangely he could understand what he was saying but it wasn’t what he was used to his voice sounding like the way it did at the moment. After a few moments of looking himself over, he had only one conclusion.

He had become a Pokémon, a Ralts to be specific.

He had a moment of panic as the retaliation set in, he wasn’t home, he didn’t know where he was, he had never heard of people become Pokémon in their sleep before. After this moment of fear and panic, he slowly calmed himself. Panic wasn’t going to get him out of this situation. Until he got his baring’s, he thought that he should go find shelter, but only he didn’t know where that was. So, for the time being, he was going to stay where he was, and hope that he didn’t get attacked.
