“You can’t escape the past in Paris, and yet what’s so wonderful about it is that the past and present intermingle so intangibly that it doesn’t seem to burden.”

We've been at war for almost a six with the queen ruling as regent and the priest at her side giving guidance when need. The queen made many changes allowing people in the palace who could help advance Paris into the future. She scouted a Great inventor Pierre Jacques hoping he could make grand items to show that Paris was the most advanced country. She introduced the first respected female doctor Tan Lihua to the palace. She also formed her own alliance and betrothed her daughter Princess Willow Dubois of France to Eric Pettersen III of Norway. All while being pregnant, today was the day of Eric Pettersen III of Norway's arrival. She and the Lord of Ardennes planned the event while her son Prince Leon Dubois of France helped his sister prepare for the event.

Current Status of King: On the road traveling back from Russia with the princess of Russia.

Prince Leon Dubois of France

"A drink to my sister," he yelled out at 9 am in one of the gambling rooms the palace was lively. It was clear everyone was excited for the princess's marriage and this was the perfect excuse for the prince to avoid his responsibilities. It was a day off from lecture, writing, and jousting. The prince drank wine and rolled dice he was in absolute bliss until he got caught and was forced to attend his sisters dress alterations and after that to stand in for her rehearsal. He didn't dislike his sister he just hated that she always had their father's favor and he was looked at as the problem child. He sat and waited for when his remarks we're needed.

Willow had been awake since early that morning, and didn't get much sleep the night before. She was nervous about the arrival of The Prince of Norway, this would be the first time that they had met. The princess was sitting in her dressing room waiting for her dress to come so she could be fitted for alterations. That was another thing that she was worried about, what if her dress doesnt look right? Her thoughts were interrupted when the royal designer walked in and started helping her get into her dress. After she was in her wedding gown she stepped out of the room and found her brother waiting. "You actually came...." she said to Leon quietly.

Today was the day that Prince Eric Petterson III would arrive at the French palace in Paris. A marriage had been arranged as a part of the alliance between France and Norway. Prince Eric himself was taken by surprise the day that his father suddenly told him that he would be marrying the princess of France. The prince had already been expecting some kind of marriage to be part of the declaration of the alliance between both kingdoms, but he had really been hoping for it to be a marriage between his sister and the prince of France instead. But now the only thing he could do is obey his father's instruction and travel to Paris to meet his future wife. The king told him this would be a great opportunity to familiarize himself with the French royal family. "A good king is a master of both way and diplomacy" his father told him.

It had been a long journey taking several days to get all the way from Oslo, Norway, to where the French palace was located, in Paris, France. But after the long journey, the prince's carriage was now in France, and it would only be a short time before he reached the palace in Paris. In his mind he kept worrying. Unlike his father, he was a bit more introverted, and while he could handle socializing and following the expected protocoles, he felt like this might be a rather exhausting experience. He had brought a lot of books and other things to keep himself entertained during the journey, as well as to read during any alone time he could get.

Finally, the palace was now in sight. Eric took a deep breath. He wondered if the princess might be nervous as well. Would she be disappointed that he wasn't like his father was? King Eric II was well respected as a powerful, strong ruler whose mere presence commanded respect and inspired fear in the hearts of others. Prince Eric was still worried about the fact that it seemed like everyone would be expecting him to be like his father. The carriage stopped at the entrance of the palace, where the prince would be greeted and led into the palace.

Meanwhile, in one of the rooms of the palace that was called the Great Inventor's Workshop, Pierre was working on one of his most recent projects, along with his apprentice, Julien. On the table were a few sketches that Pierre had drawn himself, along with several parts that would be used for the invention. The workshop was also full of weird contraptions, ranging from ones that were as small as a book, and others that were as large as a horse. It'd be hard to guess what each one did simply from their appearance alone. Pierre was scheduled to present some of his inventions as part of the ceremony that would happen with the arrival of the Prince of Norway. Pierre not only had several inventions that fulfilled quite practical uses, but there were quite a few that were meant more for spectacle and show-off, as a way to showcase the advancement of French technology.

Queen Eleanor of France

Eleanor had been waiting for the day a long time. It was the day when the alliance between Sweden and France was finally strengthened. She has had long letters written between her and king Eric. She had met the man when she was young in his father's court and now his son was coming to Paris. If the boy was half the man his father was then Eleanor's heart would be at ease.

Her maid Aline cracked the curtains open a small bit to let in the faintest of lights. Eleanor edged herself on the edge of a glorious bed lined with soft matrasses and fur. The mornings had been rough for the past weeks as her belly had grown to a size where moving oneself off from bed was more exhausting than the rest of the day combined when she was nursing. She was helped up and dressed by Aline to prepare her for a day of joy and worries.

Eleanor's schedule was busy as she had to make sure that all was ready for the arrival of the prince in the great courtyard, the great feast was under its way to welcome the new arrivals, Willow's rehearsal went well and Leon was not slacking off. She was hobbling, there was no real other way to describe the movement, around the palace, when she remembered that one part of the welcoming day was an exhibition of inventions so she took it upon her to travel to the workshop of Mr Jaques on the other side of the palace.

Eleanor made her way through the castle and stopped before the door of the inventor to gather her breath. She dearly hoped that he had a chair as her back was already aching and feet were sore. She didn't look like a queen at the moment and sincerely hoped that not a soul besides the closest to her would see her. Aline, who was now following her almost everywhere fanned her a little wind and offered to get her a glass of water which Eleanor gracefully declined as she opened the door to step in.

“Of course, you’re my sister.” He said as he adjusted her hair “You look lovely.” Leon stood on the side of her “Are you nervous? When its my time… I don’t know if I can do it.” The prince crossed his legs “Mother knows The prince of Norway, I’ve only heard horrid things about Russia and if father likes her then I can only imagine how bad she is.”

Willow smiled softly when her brother fixed her hair. That simple gesture made her feel more relaxed and calm, it made her feel like she wasn't alone. "Of course I'm nervous. It's the first time I'm meeting my soon to be husband. I'm pretty sure that I got less than four hours of sleep last night." She said and fiddled with her fingers. "You can't judge a book by its cover" Willow said as she stepped back into the dressing room to take off her wedding gown. A few minutes later she was standing beside her brother again. "Do you happen to know where mother is?" The princess asked as she looked at her brother. She wanted to see how her mother was doing, it had been a while since she had talked to her.

“Let’s go find her together,” the prince said as he smiled. When the walked in the hall and the prince looked like he saw a ghost it was his father standing right in front of him “Your majesty,” he said as he bowed

The king stood in red with a fur around his neck he looked tired and answered no one when they asked why he returned so soon. The king put on a smile and a strong face for the people of the palace his only response to people was “My son won’t marry someone from such a savage up bringing.” The king walked down the hall where he noticed his son and his daughter. The king nodded at his son and held his arms open for his daughter “My dear willow.” He embraced her and headed towards the main hall expecting to see the queen and the newly arrived prince.

PIERRE JACQUES - THE GREAT INVENTOR
Pierre was at work, finishing the testing of his inventions that would be ready for the exhibition at the big ceremony that would happen today. Needless to say, the man was excited. This would be a great chance for people of other countries to see his genius and brilliancy. Perhaps the word of his name would spread throughout Europe. Maybe he would be famous. Along with Julien, he kept working, until suddenly, the door opened, revealing that the queen was here.

"Your majesty!" Pierre said, stopping his work immediately to focus on the queen, who had just arrived at his workshop. He immediately glanced at Julien. "Get her a chair, immediately." He told his apprentice. Julien rushed to grab a chair and place it next to the queen so that she could sit.

"Your majesty, have you come to see the inventions before the big ceremony?" Pierre asked her.

PRINCE ERIC PETTERSON III - PRINCE OF NORWAY
Eric was escorted into the palace, to the main hall where he would meet the French royal family. He looked around as he walked through the halls. He was still nervous about his meeting with the French royal family. Sure, his father had kept relations with the King of France for some time now, but Prince Eric himself had never met any of the French nobles before. This was his first time meeting them, and he was anxious, just hoping to not mess this up. The future alliance between Norway and France depended on this, as much as Eric was worried.

He soon arrived at the main hall. His heart was racing as he just kept thinking the same thing to himself over and over again: "Don't mess this up. Don't mess this up. Don't mess this up." He looked ahead, and saw who he quickly deduced were the King Elijah, Prince Leon, and Princess Willow, three members of the French royal family. He didn't see the queen anywhere though. He kept getting more and more nervous, but tried to not display it. If he was lucky enough, the King would be the one doing most of the talking, so that Eric wouldn't have to worry about talking too much himself, just respond to any questions they would ask him.

Willow's eyes widened and a smile made it's way onto her face when she spotted her father. She wasn't expecting him to be back at the palace so soon, so when he gave her a hug she quickly returned it before looking at her brother, motioning for him to walk next her her as she followed their father. The princess didn't ask why the King was home early, she was too happy. When she saw her father it was like all of her nervousness went away. Her father had that effect on her, he made everything seem like it was going to be okay.

As the three of them walked into the main hall Willow's eyes immediately went from looking ahead of her, to looking at the red-head that stood off to the side. The princess assumed that he was the Prince of Norway, her soon to be husband and she looked at Leon with wide eyes. "I didn't expect him to be here so early in the day." She said quietly to Leon as she started to fidget with her hands again, her nerves coming back full force.

Queen Eleanor of France
1640806066489.png

Eleanor was greeted by the inventor and his apprentice.
"Good day, Pierre! How are the things getting along?"
The man rushed the boy to provide her with a chair which caused the lad to dash around to get her a chair. The boy triumphantly set it down next to her and the worry in his face turned into a gleeful smile.
"Thank you very much but there was no need to have the chair in such haste I could have stood for a little bit more."
Eleanor sat down on the chair. It was a little uncomfortable but she was grateful to have any. The queen looked around the room and saw all the weird machines dotted around trying to find the attraction for today. She did hope this process won't take too long as the prince was to arrive soon and it would have been an awful shame if not a single member of the royal family could greet the man when he entered the gates.
"Yes! Yes! I am here to check up on you and make sure you are able to get everything ready on time as if there were some complications we still have enough time to rearrange the entertainment. If you wish you can present some of them now but I am not here to hold you back and will take my leave in that case"
Eleanor gave the men in front of her a sweet smile and continued to run her eyes around the room.

Prince Leon Dubois of France

Leon grabbed his sisters hand and gave her a reassuring smile. This was the moment when Leon began to feel out of place if his mother was there he would feel a little better. But he was in his fathers and sisters world. “well I think I’ll take my leave.” Leon let go of Willow‘s hand and bowed to the prince of Norway “Hopefully, we have time to get acquainted.” Leon looked at as father and bowed “I’ll be going to lessons, I attended willows fitting.” Leon walked out the main door the complete opposite direction of his lessons. However, he saw a woman in pants “Are you okay?” The prince looked confused was she a Russian refugee who escaped the Savage land. The prince looked around to see if any guards were in the distance.

King Elijah Dubois of France

The king smiled “Prince Eric of Norway, spitting image of your father,” He smiled and put his arm around willow. “This is my daughter Willow, your bride to be.” There was a slight moment of silence where Leon interrupted and said his goodbyes. The King gave him a reassuring nod that he could leave. “How was your travel?” The king walked towards the table so everyone could have a seat. The king had many things on his mind war in Russia was not going as expected and seemed like long term bloodshed. He knew his son wasn’t fit to lead if he died at war. The thought of losing Willow and his wife bothered him deeply he needed a plan. The king sipped wine and kept his blank but engaged face as he conversed with the prince. He just hoped Willow wouldn't noticed that something was bothering him.

Irina Anhalt-Zerbst

Her long journey from Russia to France was finally over. It felt nice to see France in a new light, away from all the blood and war. Irina opted for wearing her military uniform instead of a nice gown, she was more comfortable in her uniform anyway. After getting situated with the palace staff and all her luggage, it wasn’t much, was in her room, she decided to walk around the castle, to stretch her legs a bit. Out of habit, her guard was up, she was in a country that was warring hers, whether they were trying to make an alliance or not. She wasn’t exactly sure where she was going, she was just walking around, admiring the architecture of it. Soon after, she found a massive window outlooking the castle grounds. She stood there for a long time, looking out at the grounds, but soon she heard a voice. Turning to the source of the voice, she noticed it was the prince of France. Once when the King had went to Russia, he had brought pictures of his family. Upon seeing him, instead of giving him a curtsy like a normal princess would, she gave him a military salute. It was a sign of respect in military ranks but she also did it out of habit, greeting a lot of people like that. “Ah, Prince Leon, I was quite alright. Just taking a walk around the castle, admiring it.” Irina said glancing at the window. “My apologies, you probably don’t know me. I’m Irina Anhalt-Zerbst, Princess of Russia.” She introduced herself. She was quite curious to see how he would react, he was meeting his bride to be.

Willow smiled back at her brother and then took a deep breath before turning her attention back to the two men in front of her. When her father introduced her, she curtsied her red gown flowing around her, before following him to the table, where she sat down on the right side of her father. Willow's nerves were still pretty bad so she subtly took a deep breath and turned her attention to the Prince Eric, he was rather handsome. His red hair looked like fire, and his blue eyes looked like ice.

The princess was sitting there, slightly uncomfortable. It was the first time she was meeting her soon to be husband and she didn't know what to say. So she sat there quietly, waiting for Prince Eric to say something. She wanted to get up and go looking for her mother, but she knew that it would be rude to do so, especially since the prince just got here. Willow looked over at her father and she could tell that something was wrong, even though he was good at hiding how he feeling, she could see right through it.

Madame Tan entered the palace without any fanfare, her cloak obscuring much of her figure as she walked along. A large basket of herbs was strung over her back, but her upright posture belied its weight. She nodded respectfully to each member of the palace staff who she passed, though she did not slow her pace. It was not that she was in a rush, but the physician was loathe to linger long in any one place. Her schedule was always kept full, shifting only to accommodate those of higher standing.

In the mornings, Madame Tan spent her time visiting patients or gathering herbs. This particular day, it was the latter. She knew that the king and several important foreign guests had arrived. With that in mind, she would need to be prepared, and ensure her stock of medicines were not depleted for any potential exotic disease or travel sickness. As such, she did not tarry and headed directly the medical office that had been granted to get as a respected physician of the palace.

PIERRE JACQUES - THE GREAT INVENTOR
Pierre was honored to have the Queen here in his workshop. She didn't come here very often, specially now that she got exhausted more easily with the future prince/princess that was to be born soon. The queen insisted that there was no need to hurry, but Pierre smiled. "Oh, it's not a problem at all, don't worry your majesty." Pierre told her.

Pierre could notice the queen looking around the room, seeing all the various different inventions and machines in the room. She seemed intrigued by them, which made him smile. He prided himself in his ability to create things that no one else could've imagined. When the queen confirmed that she was here to check if he would be ready on time, Pierre nodded quickly. "Oh yes, I'll have everything ready on time. We've been working non-stop to make sure everything is ready for the event. Isn't that true, Julien?" Pierre said, glancing back at his apprentice.

The young apprentice nodded quickly. "Yes, that's right. We might perform a final test run for some of them first, but they're pretty much ready." Julien confirmed. As energetic and dynamic as Pierre was, more often than not it was Julien who was dashing around the room to grab things or do simple tasks, while Pierre focused on the more complex tasks. But both of them had been working a lot the past few days to make sure everything was ready. They hadn't even gotten much sleep, but Pierre still seemed as energetic and lively as always, you could barely tell he had slept so little over the past few days. Julien however did seem more exhausted, occasionally yawning a bit.

"It would be an honor to present some of my latest inventions if you have the time, your majesty." Pierre told her, with his same dynamic and energetic tone of voice. "Though I wouldn't want to keep the guests waiting for you." He added. He was always happy to show off his inventions, with that same enthusiasm as always, but he did understand that the ceremony would be starting soon.

PRINCE ERIC PETTERSON III - PRINCE OF NORWAY
Eric was nervous, but tried to conceal it. He let the king speak first, which he promptly did, introducing him to Willow, his future wife. He looked at Willow. To be honest, she was good-looking, and she looked great in her dress. "It's an honor." Prince Eric began, bowing to the French royals. Prince Leon then said his good-byes.

The king then took control of the situation, asking him about his travel. "It was a long journey, but it went quite well, all things considered." Prince Eric began. "This kingdom and the landscape really are as beautiful as the books said, but it's really something else entirely to be able to see it with my own eyes instead of just reading about it." Eric said. He was a natural bookworm, and loved reading to pass the time. He had read a lot about France, but this was his first time actually being here. "It's an honor to be here." He said.

Eric was honestly too focused on his own nerves, and trying to make a good impression on the king, to even notice that something might be bothering the king. Right now all Eric was worried about was to make a good impression, like his father would want him to do. He was still nervous about this whole situation, but he tried to do his best.

Prince Leon Dubois of France

“Ah…”
The prince said in a nervous tone after remember what his father said about the Russians. “Guard can you grab the physician.” One of the guards walked away swiftly to grab Madam Tan. “Your highness,” The prince said as he bowed to her “I wasn’t aware that you would be visiting, this is quite a shock.” The prince sat on a nearby bench “Does my father know of your arrival and well..” The prince looked the princess up and down “Trousers, however those have a nice cut to them.”

The prince knew his father would react madly if he knew the princess was here. But he also knew the Russians would react poorly something happened to the princess. “Can I be frank, My father told me the alliance would not be formed… Why are you here?” He waved to another guard “Fetch mother and tell my father nothing about this,” The prince clapped “Swiftly please tell her I hurt myself and please don’t forget her chair.” The prince looked back to the princess “My mother is the more understanding of the two.”

King Elijah Dubois of France

The king smiled “Wait until you visit Versailles, that’s were I’m planning the wedding.” The king took a sip “Funny story, When I first met your father, it was at Versailles my cousin was throwing a party and I challenged your father to wrestle me,” he looked to Willow “This was three days after I married your mother, and your father slammed me in front of the court. The music stopped and everyone looked in awe and fear thinking I would react like my father. Instead I told your father If I ever had a daughter he could marry her.” The king laughed “Your fathered replied maybe if I have a son they could wed. It’s been almost twenty two years and look where we are, It’s a shame he couldn’t join us I want a rematch.”

The King grabbed his glass and a royal servant whispered in his ear “Leave it to my son if he wants it to be a secret, Tell lord Dunlee and lord Harry to meet me in the conference room.” The servant nodded “Willow give the prince a tour, and have someone set up his things in his chambers. I have to be excused.” The king stood and walked towards the conference room.

Irina Anhalt-Zerbst

Irina followed the prince to the bench where he sat, but did not sit beside him. Instead, she opted to stand and lean against the wall behind it, moving her sword so it wouldn't hit or scratch the wall. "Well, sorry for the shock, Your Highness." She said jokingly. "I'm not quite sure if your father knows, the palace staff may have informed him or not. And no, he probably does not know about the trousers. But thank you for liking them, they are quite comfortable." She explained, gesturing to her legs when she went on about the trousers. "I don't mind at all, be as frank as you would like." She looked at the prince, awaiting what he would say. Although as she listened to his answer, the smile she had on her face faltered. He said the alliance wouldn't be formed, but she had gotten no word of it, if she had she would not have taken the trip down here at all. "I was not aware of that, no such word has reached me or Russia. Are you sure you aren't saying that to scare me off?" She asked him, meaning the last part as a joke, but some of her authoritarian voice that she used on the battlefield came out slightly. She hoped it wouldn't scare the prince. "Ah, I see." She remarked at saying his mother was the more understanding one. Now she pushed herself off of the wall and fixed her sword. All she could do now was wait, and hoped this alliance would go through or they could work something out.

The prince smile “I think you’re trying to give me a heart attack, sneak attack take out the next successor.” He laughed and gently punch her arm, “Apologies, the trousers I forgot.” The prince fiddled with his thumbs “You’re what I was expecting but also not what I was expecting. Does you’re father really gift people bears? If so I would like a white one.” The prince slightly chuckled but was also serious he’d heard of her grandfather Peter the great, but her father had not so nice names. Her mother the first empress, did she also wear trousers. He’d even heard of her brother but she was a mystery. “You’re not afraid of getting married to a completely stranger?”

Irina Anhalt-Zerbst

She laughed slightly when the prince punched her in the arm. It was gentle so it didn't sway her much, but it was nice to see that the prince had a soft side. "You have my word, I would never do that." She said smiling when the prince said that she would take him out, although she easily could. She nodded along with the prince's talking, showing that she was listening to him. Laughing when he asked if her father really did gift people bears. "Well, he has gifted bears on occasion. I'll see if my mother can get you a white one." She told him. She could technically get him one, there were quite a few polar bears in Russia, it wouldn't be too hard to get one here. But then she heard the prince's question, she knew that he was serious, an so her tone shifted to a serious one. "Of course I'm scared. But I'm doing this for my country, so I can't be scared. I actually feel more comfortable on the leading battalions on thee battlefield than getting married at an altar." She told him, and it was true. Being on the battlefield was like second nature to her. "How about you? Scared of marrying me?" She said jokingly, moving in front of him, leaning down so they were face to face, with their faces a few inches apart. He could see her face clearly now, and her white hair, which was in a ponytail, flowing down one of her shoulders.

He leaned in closer, it surprised her, she didn't expect for the prince to be this bold. Most princes she had met always shyed away from her. As he talked, a deep red blush appeared on her face, that was the first time that ever happened. Sure, she may have gotten a few suitors before, but they never made her blush. "I-I'm not one for taking a lover. And I-I agree, I hope we can both be happy." She looked away from the prince, attempting to hide the blush on her face, it was a bad attempt. He would surely be able to see it. She stood up straight and fixed her uniform. attemtping to look calm and composed, she was not. "Ahem, so would you know when your mother is going to get here?" She asked and she went back to lean on the wall once again, the blush went away slightly, but a light pink could still be seen on her cheeks.

PRINCE ERIC PETTERSON III - PRINCE OF NORWAY
Prince Eric listened as the king spoke, telling him that he planned the wedding to be at Versailles, and then went on about when he met Prince Eric's father there. Prince Eric stayed mostly silent, listening to the story. Eric had a shy smile on his face. "My father has brought up the story a couple of times. I'm sure he would've loved to be here, he would've come if he had the chance to." Eric said, nodding slightly. The two kings seemed to be on good terms, and that helped ease the pressure for the prince a bit.

The prince looked as the king told his daughter to give him a tour, and that he had to leave. Prince Eric watched as the king stood up. "It has been my pleasure to finally have the chance to meet you in person, your majesty." Prince Eric told the king. "And I'm grateful for the warm welcome." He said. He really wanted to try to do his best.

Once the king left, Eric looked at Willow. They were alone, he should try to talk, say something. She hadn't said much of anything either. Maybe she was nervous too? If they were going to get married, he should start things off the right way. "So... how has your day been?" Prince Eric said, trying to start up a conversation with the princess. "I imagine you've had quite a busy day as well, right?" He added. This was kind of awkward...

Queen Eleanor of France

1640806066489.png

Eleanor sat and watched the pair dash around energetically like bunnies. She was thinking her own thoughts and enjoying the show when Aline knocked and entered. She wispered into her ear that a guard wanted to see her and it's urgent. A tinge of worry passed through Eleanor as she tought about all the things that could be wrong. She excused herself from Pierre and said that duty calls and exited the room to face the guard. The mand bowed down and motioned it being a whisperable message. Elelanor leaned in.
"My queen, the price wished to tell you that he has fallen ill . I have also heard that the king, prince of Sweden and Russian princess are all here"
The poor man looked like he was going to mauled to death and he was right about dying but not right now as Eleanor had now all the problems of the palace on her shoulders. Nothing in here happens at a convinient time. She rushed through corridors with both fury and worry pasted onto her face if Leon wasn't ill he would be getting an earful with the rest of the kin. The servants and other members of the court parted like sea in front of Eleanor as worried Aline tried to keep up with her. She busted into Leons room finding the the prince to be chatting with someone. She ignored the stranger and gave a quick once over with her hands to find what was wrong with him.
"Leon dear, what is wrong with you? What can be so serious that it needs to be whispered to me?"

As the Queen of France rushed into the room, she remained still. Leon had to told the guard to tell her that he was sick or was hurt, so of course a mother would be worried. She decided not to introduce herself until Leon explained the situation or the Queen had calmed down a bit. She fixed up her uniform as to make it look alright and presentable. She looked over the Queen, so what her mother told her was true, the Queen of France has come to be with a child. Irina was a bit shocked and maybe scared, she had met many pregnant women in her time and it wasn't for good reason, it was usually to tell them that their sons have just died due to the war, and suffice it to say they weren't happy, so her reputation with pregnant women wasn't all that great. She would that the Queen and Leon interact and talk, she wondered what the Queen would think of her, a princess in trousers that French soldiers feared since she was ruthless on the battlefield. Prince Leon hadn't heard of her bloodied name yet, maybe because the soldiers' talk hadn't reached him yet, but she wouldn't be surprised if it reached the Queen's ears. She stood up tall, she wasn't leaning on the wall anymore, and waited till she could introduce herself.
