Aaron stared at the one word he'd written down an hour ago. He hadn't been reading it this whole time. No, it was just where his eyes had fallen as his mind had drifted off to other things. How should he greet whoever showed up? Would anyone show up? He really had no idea how Bird's powers worked, and even less understanding of what the super villain had done to pull people from another world to this one. Just because the letters had disappeared was no guarantee that they'd actually appeared in the other world. Or if they had, who was to say the people that accepted would arrive in the same place? They could be thrown anywhere in the world, anywhere in any world. The letters might not even find people from the same world he'd come from. There were so many unknowns. He was used to that by now, but he still hated it. People's minds, this world, it was too chaotic, impossible to predict. That was what made it so exciting.

He was smiling as his white-gold eyes refocused on the paper lying in front of him.

Welcome, one and all, to my world. It's a pleasure, honestly.

The exact words Bird had used to greet him, Ryan, Angela... and Sophia. His eyes darkened as regret tinged his smile. He would never say it, but he missed them, all of them. He would probably never be given a chance to say it. He deserved that. He banished the sadness he'd begun to feel and reread his words, Bird's words. He lifted the pen. No, he couldn't just reuse Bird's words this time. This wasn't even his world after all. He crumpled the paper and pulled out a new one. Now that he'd made the decision to not copy Bird he found he couldn't even think of one word to start. The pen moved on its own in his hand.

Aaron has a very passive, calm attitude, and he prefers to conserve energy whenever possible so as to never use more effort on a task than is absolutely necessary. This tends to mean he comes off as just being apathetic and lazy, which isn't a wholly wrong way of viewing things. He's stacked so many masks over his true feelings that nothing comes off as entirely genuine, at least to anyone that knows him. He loves people in the sense that he needs to be around others, but it's always a one-sided manipulation, never true companionship or friendship. He doesn't handle isolation well, especially not as himself, as he so easily regresses towards that apathetic depression that nearly swallowed him whole before Bird rescued him three years ago.

Kinetic Power: Pathokinesis

Aaron's power isn't flashy like some of the other legends, in fact it's often completely invisible. He manipulates emotion, the many subtle and often conflicting feelings at work within the heart and mind. Simply put, he can increase the emotions in others that he wants them to feel and weaken the ones he doesn't want them to focus on. Note that this is not mind control. Even if the end results can seem like he's simply controlled a person and bent their will to do what he wants, that's not how his power works. He can't read minds, or even tell what emotions are at work in another person at any given time. He has to understand what's going on in a person's mind to know which emotions he needs to pull on or push aside to get them to act how he wants. That's the main use of his power, but there are a few other things he can do as well. Aaron is able to project his own emotions around him so that anyone nearby can feel what he's feeling. Since it's his emotions and not their own others would be feeling it's the only time other people can tell that their emotions are being altered by someone else.

Aaron knows the dangers of pushing certain emotions too far in others, but he never stopped to think about the effects of constantly regulating how own emotions with his power. Testing his powers on himself, playing with just how far each emotion could be pulled, it changed him. In fact, he's pushed his own emotions far enough in certain directions to have created entirely new psyches within himself. Apathy, Anger, Kindness, Fear, Love, Pain. Those are the main emotions that control who Aaron is each day, and each has become a being entirely divergent from the person Aaron once was. It's very similar to schizophrenia in a way, or multiple personality disorder, except each of these emotions are aware of each other and have dynamics between one another born from Aaron's own mind.

Weapons:

As Aaron has incorporated parts of the other psyches in his mind into his own, his skill with weapons has improved dramatically. As each of the emotions has their own distinct preferences when it comes to fighting and weapons, Aaron has some skill with a wide variety of weapons, from handguns to swords and bows to battle axes.

Fighting Style:

Aaron was never much of a fighter himself. Again, this does not hold true for all of the other psyches inside his mind. Apathy moves so efficiently to not leave an opening to be exploited, Anger rushes into a fight without a thought of self-preservation, Kindness does what is necessary to protect others, and Pain sadistically toys with his prey. Trying to pin down Aaron to a single fighting style is pointless when it could all change in an instant as another psyche takes over.

Personality: Haruto is very sociable. When he still attended high school, he shifted between the "class clown" and "bad boy" role, brightening up the school in the rare occasion he was there. Otherwise, he was either taking in shady jobs, fighting other delinquents, or simply roaming around the city. Due to his frequent jokes, some might some him as rude and lax, which is true to a certain extent. However, he does know when to be serious and is open-minded when interacting with others of different backgrounds. He is more judgmental when it comes to different opinions. Haruto is terribly idealistic, especially in terms of loyalty and family. He would go great lengths to impress and protect those he love, even if he is aware that they won't do the same to him. This ideal leads him to partake in many risky behaviors, which he honestly doesn't mind doing. In fact, he enjoys doing most of them. Due to the circumstances he grew up in, he doesn't have much of a moral compass. He wouldn't hesitate to murder if his loved ones are in danger.

Bio: Haruto is from Osaka, Japan. Two years prior, he was placed in juvenile detention for manslaughter and was planning for his escape. His family consists of a single blind father and a sister two years younger than him. His mother went missing nine years ago, but rumors say she was killed by the yakuza. After his mom's disappearance, the remaining family members pledged to put each other above all else, and Haruto has been keeping that promise ever since. He accepted Bird's invitation in hopes of bringing prosperity to his family.

Haruto's kinesis is also useful for fleeing and creating obstacles for his opponents, as he can blow his team away and breathe certain elements to change the environment.

    Ryan comes across as a serious, no nonsense type. When presented with a challenge he takes his time, looking at as many variables as he can before deciding how he is going to attack the problem. Once he has made up his mind, it is difficult to sway him from his path, though an extremely well thought out argument has been known to make him amend his plans. Most of his plans involve direct confrontation, because one of his main weaknesses is a love of combat. If a problem can be solved by confrontation, that will be his first choice. Ryan is slow to make friends, though once made, his loyalty is nearly unshakable. Capable of working on a team, he will perform his assigned task to the best of his ability, though he will go out of his way to assist weaker teammates. One way to earn his contempt, is to quit before giving your all to a task. Whiners and quitters are beneath contempt, and will be brushed aside with no thought to their well being. He will not seek to kill his opponents, though he will not try overly hard to avoid it either, unless he considers his opponent a worthy foe.     Ryan prefers to get up close and personal, using two, three foot long metal batons to quickly incapacitate his opponents. He tends to channel an electrical charge very similar to a taser through the batons as he fights, making his strikes generally incapacitating to regular humans. If disarmed he will continue to stay close, using empty hand strikes and kicks, as well as joint locks and chokes.
    
    Since parting ways with Bird's old recruits, Ryan has continued to train, improving his abilities and learning to use flexible weapons as well. Now he is equally likely to strike from a distance as to close in to melee range.

    Ryan wasn't really anything special as he was growing up, much to the chagrin of his father. Alex Simmons was a decorated soldier, a deputy sheriff, and wanted his son to follow in his footsteps. At an early age he began to train Ryan, trying to get his son ready for what he hoped would be an exemplary military career. While Ryan did learn to take care of himself, and excelled at close quarters combat training, the military mindset that his father tried to drum into him, didn't take. His father grew more and more, aggressive in his attempts to shape the young man's attitudes, which caused Ryan to dig in his heels and rebel. Ryan's mother saw the strain that her husband's aggressive was putting on her son, and tried to get him to back down to no avail. Finally, when Ryan's rebellion landed him in juvenile detention for fighting with, and severely beating a much older boy, she filed for divorce and took Ryan with her. By this time though, the damage was done. Ryan had learned that might makes right, and staying under the law's radar was the way to thrive. In school he studied, did his work, and didn't socialize at all. At night he did what he had to in order to help his mother make ends meet. He never did or sold drugs, but anything involving fighting, be it bouncing, underground fighting, or acting as muscle was fair game. He was attending a local college, studying electronics to better understand how to defeat certain types of security systems, when his father came to town, looking for the loser son and his trollop mother. It seemed that after Ryan and his mother had left, things had gone poorly for his father, scandal involving a local lovely, questions about the accuracy of his military service, and finally allegations of missing guns and drugs from the police impound lockers. It seemed that his father blamed Ryan and his mother for his troubles, and was looking to collect on the perceived debt. Ryan returned home after class to find his mother dead, and his father waiting for him. Instead of running, or calling the police, Ryan calmly broke his father's neck before disappearing into the underbelly of society.
    
    
    
    
    Ryan drifted around the US for a while, doing the odd muscle job, or entering the occasional fight for his monetary needs, before taking work on a fishing boat. His studies in electronics made him invaluable to the skipper, who had no idea how radio's actually worked, much less the marine radar units. Ryan found he enjoyed the travel, and rather liked the close bonds the crew formed. You pulled your weight or you got the hell out. This was much more suited to him than the honor and integrity and duty his father had tried to convince him of, the hypocrite. The next several years passed in a blur of work, travel, and whenever he could find someone to teach him, more training. It was when the little boat stopped at an out of the way island that Ryan was exposed to Eskrima. The dance of knife and stick, designed to quickly down your opponent, called to him. Taking his accumulated pay, he left the fishing boat, and began to live a beachcomber lifestyle, spending most of his time with the local Eskrima teacher. After a few years he found his teacher could train him no more, and besides, his funds were beginning to run low. Just as he began to contemplate his future, a letter appeared.
    
    That was years ago. Years in which he had watched the madness that was Bird destroy wantonly. Watched that same madness take hold of Aaron. Loyalty and gratitude had only been able to keep him with Bird for so long, and finally Ryan had had enough. The break with Bird and crew had actually been quite simple. Bird had vanished without a trace, though rumors had swirled about for years. Ryan had set about building his own reputation and wealth. He never established his own organization, preferring to deal with freelancers who worked for money. Only once did a freelancer try and screw Ryan over. Ryan had poured enough power through the double-crosser to cook him from the inside, leaving the smoking body as a warning to anyone who thought about betraying him. The message had been received clearly, and Ryan never had to go to such extremes again. Ryan kept his jobs fairly low-key, going out of his way to avoid being noticed by the major heroes He did attract the attention of several of the lower powered heroes over the course of his career, managing to develop new facets to his powers that he hadn't dreamed of under Bird's tutelage.

Kimi is...bizarre, to put it kindly. She’s very strange and unusual, a natural trait of hers that causes interest and amusement to those she comes across. Her whimsical and old fashioned ways are accompanied by her morbid habits makes her softcore nightmare fuel for some. And a postmodern art piece for others. Not so surprisingly, she is quite artful. Downright brilliant in her creativity while maintaining a calm demeanor. She has a vibe to her that makes her seem like she's serious all the time and her creations are not immune to this. In fact its get amplified because Kimi is a hard-core perfectionist. If things are imperfect or not near her high standards, it irks her to no end. And being indecisive at wrong times is a bad habit of hers and it PISSES her off because of how glaring it can be at times, like much of her way of living- she HIGHLY prefers things to be cut clean and neat. No blemishes. None of those. Extreme is a word that can be used to describe Kimi’s..entire being. Although she’s usually silent, she's not opposed to being social and she’s actually outspoken. Though, the way she speaks can be seen as vague. As if she’s very careful with words she chooses. She’s a maternal kind of grim mother friend and she can be...obsessive as well as sentimental.

Kimi was raised by her grandparents, she didn’t have parents because they died while she was at a very early age. Only recalling them by pictures and paintings now. This is what flung her into painting because she could depict her parents in many different ways, using their pictures. She was alone most of her childhood and never had any close friends. Her grandparents of course, were worried that she scared most of her friends off with her...odd demeanor. They believed it was because she didn't get enough sunlight. She eventually started taking her paintings to new heights by street painting. Earning money by performing on the corners, eventually she made a name for herself. Eventually, her grandparents passed away and left her quite the funds. Though she had the funds,it was not the loneliness that consumed her- it was the thought of uncertainty that did. The chump change on the side of the road lost its glamour and she was beginning to think ahead, how she could do something that truly mattered. The girl wanted to see her name in lights and become a Master of Art, a modern day legend- even. Kimi accepted the invitation because the promise of fame which read off as something that she was looking for.

  • I.E. If the art is made out of paper, it can be destroyed by fire. If the art is made out of water, it can be dried up. Etc and so forth. If the art is made out of stone, it can be crushed.
• Creative Juices is tied to bringing the Art to life and how strong it’ll be, its common for Kimi to get Writers Block, and Writers Block completely hinders her powers useless. That and having a chaotic mindset because she needs to be calm to form a piece of art.
• If Art Tools are broken while her creations are out, they turn hostile and are thrown into a fury filled rampage.
• Featherweight, can't take too much of a beating and has to rely on speed to compensate.

While not necessarily a weapon, per say. She does use her art tools as weapons from time to time.


FIGHTING STYLE

Kimi is what one would call a burst assassin, she relies on overwhelming and sudden force to get the job done. Although she can’t take a beating worth a shit, she unloads most if not all of the things she has up her sleeves and gets OUT of the way before her opponent retilates. The goal in an attack for Kimi is to deal as much damage as possible in each series of attacks. So of course, she is mid to close ranged. Mid when she needs time to think. Also her creations dont last too long so she needs them close enough to dish out what she needs them to do.


OTHER

Kimi’s creations last 10 minutes to 1 hour and are under her complete control(unless someone breaks her art tools)
Kimi’s odd behavior comes a lot from her Grandpa who was a foreigner.
When the creation exceeds normal ‘life’ size, she loses energy and its harder to control them.

Arthur is going through a bit of an existential crisis. He WAS a passive, diminutive young-man. Intelligent but not ambitious. But lately the feeling of wasting away his life and a balled up anger have surfaced, resulting in a more erratic impulsive nature that contrast strongly with his usual mannerisms. He is now more brash but prone to bouts of deep self-reflection and uncertainty.



Biggest Fear : A life of mundanity

Growing up had felt then like a summer haze spent in anticipation for the excitement and freedom of adulthood. But that excitement and adventure never really came; Arthur could never shake the feeling of just being a child piloting a man's body. The years had flown by him and those happy memories started to feel like they belonged to someone else.

Arthur graduated with good grades but felt lost when off the rails of education, stumbling into a job at a financiers office, the young-man looked at numbers all day and waited for his life to happen. He went to work, paid his rent, went to the gym, lived the way everyone always told him how. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months and then the years blurred past him without him even noticing.

Arthur always spoke about all the fantastic things he wanted to do when he was older, the places he dreamed of seeing, people he could meet. When life would really START. But one morning on the way into his daily commute on the subway, he looked at the soulless people around him like into a mirror and realised: This was it. He didn't cry, even if he wanted to, that feeling of his fleeting pointless place in the universe struck him numb right through though. He didn't go to work that day, without telling anyone he just went for a walk, with no idea where or when it would take him.



Strengths/Weaknesses
Arthur is very good with a plan, he spend time crafting intricate details in creative ways that can be difficult to overcome. But he is less good at improvising in a tough situation nor does his kinesis really lend itself to that.

Although able to heighten his reflexes and body-clock, physically he is basically just a normal man and has no powerful attacks he can use.




Kinesis Chronometry-Kenesis
The ability to control the measurement of time; essentially he can control clocks. But while that seems a bit pointless it can be versatile, afterall the world runs on time. Every computer needs a clock, engines all have timing belts, traffic systems, power-grids...bombs. It takes greater concentration the more he manipulates and the further he is from them though.
Where the power REALLY becomes interesting though the fact we all have a personal body-clock inside us. That 'sense' of time, how we judge a minute from an hour. Arthur can make time fly, or crawl to a halt, your body might suddenly tell you it's time to sleep, or eat. He could make things seem to slow to give you heightened reflexes or speed up to disorient you. He can 'overclock' his systems over short spates for heightened abilities or quicker recovery, or slow them to put him into a stasis if needed.





Weapon(s) None to be begin with...further down the line I could see him perhaps making interesting use of timed explosives or a scalpel in hand to hand combat.


Fighting Style:
Arthur took boxing classes for a few years during university, he is a light-weight and by no means a combative person, but this is what he would use if it came to it.

Charlotte is a usually quiet woman, most chalk it up to her having nothing to say but looking at her directly in her eyes you can tell that she's constantly thinking up her next scheme and move. Each word she says is carefully thought out 5 minutes before hand, each interaction with her is like a battle for common people it's unnerving to say the least. Since she relishes in the fact that she is almost impossible to be caught unawares, on the rare occasion someone catches her off guard, she turns into a flustered mess, stuttering over her words like she's trying to quickly come up with a counterattack. If someone does manage to work through her many shields of social defense, people will find that she will dote on people, helping them and even buying them expensive stuff just because she wants to. She is surprisingly quick-witted in a fight, insulting or cracking a joke or two to get her opponent frustrated and off guard, making it easier for her to win and she can be quite the smug b**** when she beats a particularly difficult opponent.

Biggest Fear Being trapped and watching her friends continue without her

Bio Charlotte has considered herself lucky in terms of her early life, life on easy street, she was born into a wealthy Irish family. Her parents were fairly lax in they raised her, just told her to study hard in school and to not getting into shady dealings when she was a bit older. All they cared about was making their little girl as happy as she could be and that she did really well in school and that was going well until tragedy struck, her father was murdered by a gang who had tried to muscle his company into paying a fee so that they wouldn't destroy anything in his shops and her father being Irish, simply yelled at them about how he wouldn't do anything like that even if they were rich. After that, her mother was consistently getting into the news with scandal after scandal. Charlotte took all of this badly, taking what (relatively) little money she had saved, she ran away and used her brilliant mind to play gangs against each other and to join the winners, then moving on when they outlived their usefulness, although she quickly fell into a slump, she had gotten bored running the same cons against mobsters. When she received the invitation she smirked to herself, this was it, the ticket back to a more fun life
Strengths:
- Near unbeatable reaction times

- When her bubbles are up, she is almost impossible to sneak up on

- Has an impressive tactical mind

Weaknesses:
- Electrokinesis, since most of her bubbles are water based they can chain back to her and fry her

- Gets Frustrated when she doesn't have all the information on a given scenario

- Besides her powers and reaction times, she is an average human

Kinesis Fysallidakinesis
The Kinesis to summon and control bubbles, while not sounding all that flashy it's been quite the useful ability, one of the major perks being free travel. By riding in or on top of one of her bubbles, Charlotte can move people as fast as she wants. Unlike most bubbles hers can be as strong as she wants it to be, Charlotte also has a connection to the bubbles she summons and as such, she can tell when, where and how they were moved or popped. One of her more situational ability is to teleport from bubble to bubble.

Fighting Style
Charlotte usually stays back in a fight, providing ranged support with her revolvers and bubbles, but when an enemy gets to close, she goes using everything at her disposal to get them away, including using her revolvers like clubs

  To most, Rosa presents herself as a serious, quick-witted individual. Always keeping up a prim and proper exterior, she often treads between keeping herself emotionally distant, while also keeping up a rather cordial demeanour. A workaholic, Rosa is often preoccupied in stressing for her own, personal success. Highly ambitious, she values her status and success most in life, almost obsessively so. Though while her exterior can be cold and almost robotic in same cases, there are moments where she is completely capable of showing her humanity. Rosa, due to her obsession over her own success in life, often overthinks various aspects of her life. She's known to constantly overthink and reanalyze simple statements over and over again, trying to pick apart some sort of hidden meaning in menial comments. However, Rosa is also known for her brief breaks in character as well. When faced with her fears or immense stress, she can quickly seem very skittish, causing her speak at a faster pace and to expressive a wider range of emotions.

  Optinokinesis

  Optinokinesis, also known as the manipulation of the senses, allows Rosa alter the physical senses of herself and those around her. Affecting senses ranging from sight, smell, hearing, and others, it can be utilized in various practical scenarios. Capable of enhancing her own sensory acuteness, Rosa can easily track those around her, whether its from an enhancement of her sight, hearing, or smell. She can furthermore hinder one's senses, rendering them incapable or hindering their ability to experience specific senses. However, there are distinct limitations to this.
  
  When affecting those around her, there is a certain effective distance. Rosa's abilities begin to wane after a certain distance is between her and the target. Additionally, those with any sort of mind-altering manipulation are completely capable of countering Rosa's own manipulation.
  
  

  Strengths

  Analytical Mind - Rosa possess an analytical mind, capable of picking up on small details before analyzing and formulating solutions and plans to put into action.
  Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic) - Receiving basic martial arts training, Rosa possesses a standard level of melee combat.
  Persuasion - In spite of Rosa's general attitude, she is known to be rather persuasive with her words, capable of striking at one's desires.
  Violin Proficiency - Rosa possesses an extreme proficiency with the violin, an instrument she's played since she was a child.

  Overthinker - Rosa is an overthinker. Sometimes she cannot accept a simple solution, thinking herself into circles for almost no specific reason.
  Hidden Insecurities - While her childhood insecurities are still prevalent within her, she has an easier time hiding them. Though if one were to discover such insecurities, mentioning them could put Rosa in an uncommonly agitated state.
  Relatively Frail Body - Compared to others, Rosa typically does not match their physical strength. Not exactly a frequenter of gyms, her physical health isn't a high priority to her.

  Rosa's fighting style revolves around hindering her enemy's ability to fight, while enhancing her awareness and personal abilities. While she isn't the strongest individual, she has potential to temporarily strip one of their sight or kinesthetic feelings. Rosa relies on these inherent advantages to win fights, using these "buffs" and "debuffs" to compensate for her unremarkable physical skill.
