- Equipment: He travels with a light bag with few belongings as he is established on the island, but noticeably carries a large sword. It has been handed down through generations and is tweaked and cared for by the best blacksmiths in all the kingdom.

- Personality: Brannen has a fiery spirit, akin to that of his dragon. From a young age he always knew he was destined for something greater than just the third in line for the throne. That need, that want to push forward and accomplish something is his greatest strength. He is a trier, never succumbing to failure unless it means others suffer for it. He has a strong moral compass, and likes to see justice done. This fiery spirit has given him a wild temper that he struggles to control, he gets frustrated at himself more so than others, but can easily snap if pushed. Sometimes he finds it difficult to be patient with people who he doesn't believe are trying hard enough, forgetting that he's had it fairly easy. He struggles with more personal feelings, and is likely to close himself off when emotionally challenged and become aloof. He finds it difficult to apologise though often finds himself feeling guilty.

- Magic: His eyes are where his magic lies, able to see great distances, better vision in the dark etc. This source of sight comes from his dragon. He is able to get the rough location of other dragon riders by their mark, but once there's a face attached to that mark it becomes near impossible.

- Attire: She often wears a blouse (of differing colours, mostly creams/greys as they are easiest to get her hands on) tucked into outdoors trousers accompanied with lace-up boots. She wears a thin shawl around her neck that is sage green in colour, and has a thick coat that is darker in colour.
- Equipment: Rhian carries a bow and a set of arrows in a holster on her back, the bow has her initials carved into it. She has a leather satchel that she uses when she hunts/goes to places.

- Personality: Rhian is very much an extroverted introvert. She craves the company of others, yet she finds herself most comfortable in solitude. Perhaps due to the way she has been treated in recent years, this struggle to balance her desire to have genuine friendships and her preference to be alone has only increased. She is generally a compassionate soul, able to understand any and all points of view of an argument or debate. She is good with words when she wants to be, and will always offer her help to those who deserve it. She is easily adaptable and can pick things up fairly easily, although suffers with a sense of self-doubt that makes her question herself. She doesn't think she's ever quite good enough.

- Backstory: Rhian was born in the small town to the north of Multum, its environment similar to Durus though albeit slightly warmer - dense forest was present, which turned into tundra in the winter months. Her childhood had been pretty stable compared to most. Her father made high quality bows and arrows that were distributed among some of the higher class citizens of their kingdoms and kingdoms beyond. As there was a steady income in the trade and partnerships set up by the kingdom itself, it gave her father the opportunity to teach his eldest daughter the skills to carry on the business. From a young age Rhian was learning to carve and shape wood to make it do her bidding, as well as learning how to track and hunt animals in the widespread forest. Tragedy struck when Rhian turned 13, a group of rogue bandits plundered the town during its weakest time in the dead of winter. They raided their home, killing both of her parents and her youngest sister. Her two younger brothers survived, as they had been in the thick of the forest helping their sister on a hunt. While the bandits were successfully caught and tried for their slaughter, things were not to improve for the remaining children.
  
  Her uncle from the capital came onto the scene. A harsh man who wanted nothing more than to take over his brother's successful business. Now he finally had the chance. He brought his wife, son and daughter into Rhian's family home and made it his. Unwilling to give his brother's two sons the upkeep they required, he sent them on their way at age 11 and 12 to go and work elsewhere, probably ending up in the mines of nearby Durus. Rhian was made to stay on, as she was forced to teach her cousins the trade. They started to live a lavish life, leaving Rhian to pick up the pieces, hunting for them and cleaning up after them. Rhian often picked up the pieces of her neighbours too, a lot of them loosing their breadwinners in the raid - she would often hunt for them too, saving them money on their meat. Her uncle would often lash out at her, emotionally and physically. Afraid of what may become of her if she left, she pressed on. Often forced to work through the night, she has come across wrong-doers multiple times in the forests. She's had some narrow escapes, but has also been caught off-guard. After being robbed and beaten on a hunting trip, she returned 'home' to outrage. Somehow she wasn't the victim in the situation, they were. This was her breaking point. Having already packed a bag, it was a surprise when a small envelope appeared under the shed door telling her that she had to leave - but not to where she wanted to go, to find her brothers. Would she abandon that hope?

- Appearance: He's a stockier fellow, broad shoulders and thick arms and legs. He has short(ish) light brown hair and dark eyes. He has a rounded face and gentler features, a contrast to his built body - his skin is a darker complexion due to summers spent in the sun.

- Attire: Normally wears some sort of tunic, trousers and overalls associated with farming. He has a padded jacket for the winter/autumn that is water resistant, a fine gift that he got for his 21st birthday. His boots are metal capped, good for his long days of work and treading through mud.
- Equipment: Has a small bag for travels, but his main possession other than farming equipment is his pan-pipes, which he likes to play to his draft horse.

- Personality: Emmet is generally a kind, easy-going young man who loves nothing more than lounging in the evening sun after a hard day's work. He can be just as laid-back as he can proactive. It takes him a while to adjust to new environments, as well as to new tasks - which makes him a little slower than others. However, his positive attitude means he'll take impatience with a grain of salt. He's down to earth, and will often call people out if they've done him or someone else wrong. Sometimes it can come across as rather blunt.

Appearance: With silver-blue hair, and pale lilac eyes, Kalina has a rather eye-catching appearance. Her hair is typically messy, due to the lack of hair-brush, and is typically tied off to the side with her old hairband to keep it out of the way. She has a long nose, and thin eyebrows, which give her face a slightly more mature look. Her body is thin, as expected from her upbringing, and her complexion is paler than most, due to her living in an icy enviroment where the sun doesn't shine brightly often.

Attire: Ragged, wintery clothing. Typically layered up a lot to fight against the cold. Such as an old top, an abandoned winter shawl, a torn scarf which acts as a belt, a sewn skirt, leggings and furry boots(Her family doesn't really prioritize clothing, but she's been thinking of getting new clothes to appeal more to customers).
Equipment: A small, previously-abandoned satchel, which holds a small flask of water, leftovers wrapped in cloth, a bit of gold and possibly some pretty metal she finds lying around.

Personality
Personality: Kalina comes off as a rather cold person initially, due to her wariness of strangers, but is innately a caring person, and will reach out to those who require aid. Due to her past, she's rather stingy with a lot of things, since she's used to having to ration food/money sparingly. Those she cares for, particularly her family, will find that she's quite over-protective and a bit of a worrywart. She can be pretty stubborn in general, due to her strong will, but tends to have a soft spot if you push her hard enough. Used to dealing with the harshness of reality, Kalina has been on emotional rollercoasters in the past, and as such her happiness never feels concrete to her, and doesn't smile as often as she used to. Her kind personality is still her most prominent trait however, due to her forgiving and warm attitude. She's not the best at working in a team, however, due to the fact that she's worked by herself at her own pace for the last 15 years.
Ambitions: To improve the lifestyle her family has at the moment. She wants them all to live in a big, comfortable home together.
Fears: Losing her family. A little panicky when it comes to disease.
Background
Backstory: Kalina was born in the slums of the capital, with a sickly mother who only barely made it through the procedure. Her father had passed away from the recent plague, and so Kalina never knew him. Kali was cared for by her older brother Lex, who was only 5 years old at the time. Her family struggled to make ends meet, with meals frequently being skipped due to a lack of food and money. They lived in a tiny bungalow, which used to be a store room by the looks of it, due to the shelf markings on the walls. Her mother, despite being diseased, without fail managed to create a pair of woven sandles every day to bargain with merchants. The wintery enviroment of Durus undoubtedly made it hard to sell these sandals, but luckily the capital held vendors from all over the world, so there were never too many complications. Lex was forced to turn to the darker side of society to help the family, due to his incompetence in dexterous crafting. He became a sly thief, at the young age of 10, frequently stealing from food stalls and pickpocketing passerbys. As Kalina grew, she gradually learnt the art of sandal making from her mother. Before that, she was mainly in charge of the chores around the house, such as cooking, cleaning and organising.

However, the lack of treatment for their mother, eventually led to her doom, no matter how hard she tried to live on for her children. With the sharp decrease in income, no matter how much Lex tried to steal, they were quickly kicked out of their house by their landlord. As orphans living on the street, they grew more frail and worn down by the harsh temperatures and winds which flew by at night. Their bond stayed strong however, and they frequently attempted to give each other more of their blanket at night. Despite the simplicity of the action, this little trade kept their spirits up, and kept their will to fight and live on.

One fateful day, whilst Kalina was walking past the blacksmiths, she noticed a young child, presumably another orphan by the way he was dressed, picking up scraps of metal off the floor. Curious, and somewhat worried for his wellbeing, she inquired about his actions. He told her he wanted to try and make something out of the metal, so that he could sell it and buy medicine for his younger sister. He would mold the soft metal by heating it by a fire and editing with a tool, such as a knife. Inspired by the idea, Kali bargained with him, in exchange for some of the metal, she would teach him how to make sandals. He eagerly accepted, and they met there almost every day. His name was Shion, and his sister, Elca. Kalina got along well with both of them, and felt revived due to the discovery of new friends. Her brother thought the same as well. Kali began weaving bits of metal in various patterns into the sandals she made, and after she had made a bundle, she went to sell them at the market. A passing noble from a desert kingdom adored their intricacy, and bought them all for a high price. Ecstatic due to the incredible success of her discovery, she surprised her brother and her close friends with a hefty warm meal from a nearby vendor, as a celebration of sorts. It was also the day, they all decided to become one big, warm family.

Soon afterwards, Kalina bought the medicine for Elca, who recovered quickly and thanked her with tears in her eyes. They lived peacefully, and all cuddled together at night to fight against the cold, each taking turns on the outside of their huddle. With the new profit brought in by her new sandals, her family eventually managed to save up enough to buy back their tiny bungalow. It wasn't much, but they now had a place to call home.

Reputation: Just another poverty-stricken peasant. Minor reputation as someone who makes unique and aesthetic sandals.

Physical Strengths: Perceptive of her surroundings, but in particular the movement and gestures of people. She's also quick at doing dexterous activities, such as weaving straw, and has a strong immune system due to her years of living in poverty.
Physical Weaknesses: Her stamina is pretty low, and she gets out of breath quickly. Her body has adapted to dexterous activity, and due to that, her strength is lacking(e.g.her fingers are longer and thinner, and therefore aren't as strong).

Appearance: With golden coloured hair and sky-blue eyes, Ryul has an uncommon appearance for being born in a desert tribe. His face is long and thin, and his complexion is dark, due to the harsh sunlight constantly hitting his skin. He has a wiry body, but isn't very tall, so his body structure appears a little strange. He has slight muscles, particularly in his legs.

Attire: Standard desert attire. Such as a thin, short-sleeved shirt, baggy trousers, a cloth wrapped around his waist, a short shawl, and a plain desert cloak.
Equipment: A tall backpack, a sharp dagger(mainly to cut off thorns) in one of it's hidden pockets, a book or two, a large waterskin, and some emergency rations.

Personality
Personality: Ryul is a slight introvert, requiring his alone time, but also not particularly minding the company of others. To others, he doesn't appear cold, but also not friendly either. His patient and calm attitude makes him a good decision maker, albeit perhaps slightly boring to others. He tends to be quite quiet, most likely due to the fact that he's spent most of his later life around no-one but his camels. He's rather easygoing, but also realistic, doing things at his own pace without causing possibly troublesome issues later. He can be a little selfish, prioritising his or his friends' needs above others, and he also can hold strong grudges, which are difficult to gain forgiveness for.
Ambitions: To avenge his tribe, to destroy the Kvusta clan in his kingdom, breed a pure white camel and spoil Youta.
Fears: Losing his family of camels, being killed whilst frozen in place.
Background
Backstory: Raised in the desert tribe 'Skalah', Ryul was always shorter than the boys his age, and also a lot calmer. Despite it being the norm for boys to go hunting with their fathers, Ryul not once participated out of his free will, and only hunted lizards when his tribe was struggling to find food. However, he did quite enjoy the spear training with his father, before he reached prime hunting age. He was spoiled quite a bit by his mother, who adored his calm patient attitude and labelled the other boys as 'childish tyrants'. Because of this, he always thought he was above the other kids, and tended to stay away from them. It was only during this time, that he had an arrogant attitude.

One day, however, when he was 12, whilst Ryul was in his room reading, he heard a violent ruckus outside. Curiously, he peeked out of his window, to witness his parents being slaughtered by thick silver blades. In shock, he froze in place, staring down his parent's dead bodies. His grandfather, who he had only seen once before, as he lived in a city a while away, had to drag him out to escape. Once they had managed to reach a fair distance away from their home, he explained that they were bandits, part of the Kvusta clan, a quickly growing group of outlaws. Ryul was in disbelief of the situation, and said nothing the whole journey, even when they reached the desert city his grandfather's friend was located. He weeped silently that night, wishing he was more appreciative of his tribe. It would be a lie to say he didn't want revenge, but being the rational person he was, he felt he was incapable of such a feat. Instead, he vowed to live on in place of his tribe.

His grandfather continued on his daily life, as a learned doctor. It was obvious he mourned, however, as frequently in the mornings, his eyes would be a reddish hue. Ryul was not very acquainted with his grandfather at first, nor his wife, but that quickly changed, as he bonded with his new family. It was a struggle for Ryul to get used to the city life, but he found the culture there interesting. He befriended some adults at the tavern, when he was there for an errand, and they told him stories of distant lands made of green and grey. His desire to travel quickly escalated, and at the age of 16, when his grandfather finally gave him permission, he went on a trip to a small desert village for the first time. For the trip, he rode a grumpy, dark-coloured camel, which he was given for his birthday, named Youta. It was a bit of an errand, since he had to collect some dark-green herbs which grew there, but a travelling experience nonetheless.

However, as he was picking some herbs, whilst his camel was munching some dry grass off to the side, the nearby screams suddenly caught his attention. Just as he turned around, a flash of familiar-looking silver swung down on him, and Ryul barely moved out of the way in time to avoid a fatal blow. Blood erupted from the crook of his shoulder, as he stumbled backwards. The Kvusta clan. Frozen from the familiar appearance of the bandits, all he could do was await the final blow. However, his camel had other plans. Spitting in the bandit's face, who staggered backwards, Youta charged towards Ryul. Shocked by his savior, he launched himself onto his camel's back, and rode off back home, somehow still holding the required herbs in his hand.

After his recovery from the incident, he began to treasure dearly his travel companion, treating him to sweet pasture and softened leaves. Slowly, he learnt more about his friend, such as his love for grains compared to vegetation. Ryul also consulted the camel breeder where his grandfather bought him the camel, and gradually learnt many tips and tricks to raising camels. He found out what he wanted to do with his life, and that was repay Youta for saving him, as well as care for camels in general. And so he travelled the desert, with his herd of camels, leading them to abundant vegetation with his keen eyesight.

That was until, a mysterious letter caught his attention.
