Spoiler: Character creation Guidelines

1. Characters must be between the ages of 15 and 50 no young children and no elderly.

2. Characters are immune to all diseases, infections, and mind altering chemicals. Drinking & smoking will hold no effect either positive or negative.

3. All characters spent the last 30 years in cryosleep. During this period they were training in virtual reality. As such all characters are well trained in all manner of weapon, vehichle, & combat tactic. Granted each person shines in different area's no one here is weak.

4. Your life prior to becoming a delta is your own, but i expect average joe's & Jane's. No one was a government badass, no one was a world class athlete or entertainer, they were normal people who lead semi normal lives. So no fame, no vast wealth, etc.

5. No one was taken against their will or kidnapped. Granted they were kept in the dark about what exactly they woukd be doing but all delta's were volunteers for the "Delta protocol" which they were told would save the world.

Power listings
All Delta's possess an immunity to any disease or sickness, in addition to a abnormal healing factor that allows them to heal from wounds in hours and days rather than weeks and months. They also seem to have slowed their ageing process down by a factor of 10 which has many people estimating the delta's will live for up to 1000 years.


Superhuman Strength- Claimed by Northless - The holder of this power is absurdly strong able to punch through concrete and lift up to ten tons. Their body is resistant environmental stresses, has loads of stamina, and can even withstand low caliber bullets with minimal injury.

Superhuman Agility- Claimed by TheCoRgiGaL The holder of this power has uncanny speed and reflexes. Abke to reach sprinting speeds up to 120mph and react to things roughly 6x faster than a human being. Even master martial artists and foes with automatic weapons will find it hard to hit the holder of this power. The holder is also capable of a vertical leap up to 4x their height and 8x their height on a long jump.

Superhuman Sensory- Claimed by Maeve Valor - The holder of this power has Flawless nightvision that is unimpeded by bright lights, their sense of smell can identify any known chemical within a 100 yards and even detect the scent of infected humans. Their Keen hearing can hear a footfall from up to 500 yards. They can even taste things in the air, and their sense of touch can detect even the slightest changes in temperature or air pressure. However all of these senses blend flawlessly and without effort in the hosts brain making it seem to be one Super sense.

Bioelectic manipulation- Claimed by Gradous13 - The holder of this power has the ability to generate large amounts of electrical currents within their body. The excess current is stored in an organ with seemingly no charge limit. This allows the user to stockpile electrical currents for future use. Everything from unleashing blasts of electrical energy to powering or depowering technology, even coating ones self in a powerful static field that can shock a mans heart to a sudden stop. The user can absorb electricity from alternate sources but it deals electrical damage normally to them as they do.

Pyro-Hemo (Liquid fire.)- the holder of this mutation has perhaps the strangest ability. Their blood is laced with a chemical that makes it ignite on contact with the air, burning at up to 2200°F it can reduce steel to slag in a matter of seconds. The blood pressure of the user is abnormally high allowing them to Squirt their blood out of wounds. Seemingly a defense mechanism, the heat of the blood cauterizes the wound. Since this is a passive power the user need not trigger the power on purpose, making it nearly impossible for them to bleed out.

Telepathy- Claimed by @filthy iq main - the user of this ability gains limited telepathic abilities. They can easily communicate with the other Delta's, however the resistance that the delta's have to the offensive capabilities of this power only extends to them. Using this the holder can manipulate what the enemies see and even read their thoughts from long range to counter enemy plans. They can even manipulate what the enemy does or doesnt see. The range for this power is visual however, the user can only effect the minds of those they can see.

The Guardian- Claimed by S Shibe - The weilder of this power gains a strange invisible being that travels with them everywhere they go as if it were a shadow hense the name guardian. Studies show the Guardian to be a manifestation of the users Telekinetic power, it is an invisible body made of Force which can pass through matter, or interact with matter on a whim. The Guardian also acts on its own protecting the holder of this power from outside harm even if the Holder does not percieve the impending danger. Even while asleep the Guardian can be felt nearby by all who know the strange feeling of both pressure and being watched.

Accelerated Regeneration- Claimed by Wandering Grim Hollow The holder of this power will find their healing factor greatly amplified. Able to grow back organs and limbs in a matter of minutes, with non critical injuries fading in seconds, their sense of pain is dulled but still there, and unlike the other Delta's the ageing for this powers holder has been cut off altogether. Studies suggest that even under the most extreme circumstances this Delta will live forever.

Biological manipulation- Claimed by HighSanguinaryPriest - The Wielder of this power gains the strange ability to manipulate/evolve theirs and others biology. By consuming and storing biomass, the user can alter, grow, or even create different biomorphs, allowing them to servive in almost any situation. The even have the ability to expend biomass as bony projectiles, or even organisms that mimic/enhance organs. Consuming some creatures may even unlock DNA for the wielder to use, further enhancing them and turning them into a more effective hunter, and possibly the Apex predator.


All delta's possess a power, we are not the only delta's in the world, just the only ones in the Gulf coast of the U.S. all delta's are expected to be above the age of 15, and below the age of 50. (Not counting the 30 year stasis.) We all know each other but vaguely, we met in the three months we were being prepped for our mission. No one was kidnapped of forced into this against their will, but you wouldve been kept in the dark about what was going on until your life was signed away. The promise of being kept safe in all the Madness was enough for most, though others traded their service for perks and boons, maybe a spot in the vaults for a family member, hell maybe your life just sucked. Your History before the Stasis is yours just keep in mind we lived in modern day and are meant to be average joes turned awesome by the virus and Stasis so please no impossible military badasses, professional fighters, or super genius prodigies. Let the Madness begin.

Technopathy- Frank can hack any digital age technology, or analog if he can access the device itself. Furthermore because his artificial brain is in a satellite he is able to survive the destruction of his physical body.

Robo physiology- Frank does not grow tired, Hungry, thirsty, or suffer from a need for air. Instead he has a mechanical body which boasts physical attributes superior to a normal humans innalmost every way. Though he has purposely designed the body to be completly distinguishable from a human.

Personality: Frank is a rather to the point type of mind. He hardly beats around the bush though he has been known to be a little Too relaxed at times. He Enjoys Thinking about the prospect of going outside and sadly has contributed little to the Inventive think tank of the other Delta A.I's. However he does offer an optimistic outlook that few other A.I's possess.

History: Frank is one of the initial 42 A.I's developed to operate the Delta & X bunkers. His artificial brain was cloned and then wired after the brain of Doctor Frank Sanchez who had died shortly before the procedure. With the personality and ingenuity of the doctor paired with an intellect vastly superior to what his predecessor had his outlook on the world was drastically changed. He began to focus more on the Delta's themselves rather than the inventions for the program. He altered the parameters of their training programs to include things he had found in the comic books of man. In his mind the Delta's were heroes and he intended to make them Super. He inspired the other A.I to each come up with their own solutions and share the results with each other.

Weapons of choice:
E-13 Heated Laser Pistol - A battery powered Laser weapon which strikes opponents with high heat laser blasts capable of instant conflagration. The 13th model was designed for added stopping power and a sleeker frame. This weapon holds 26 rounds per battery with a maximum range of 300 meters.

Other: Frank Is not restricted to His current body, he can also download his consciousness into one of the three predator drones in the bunker, or into the "Packmule" military robot to carry up to 1200 lbs of gear. Even tiny Aerial drones for recon in area's his satillites eye cannot penetrate.​

Has a bunch of scars all over, mainly his chest from street fighting.

This allows the Otto to stockpile electrical currents for future use. Everything from unleashing blasts of electrical energy to powering or depowering technology, even coating him self in a powerful static field that can shock a mans heart to a sudden stop. Otto can absorb electricity from alternate sources but it deals electrical damage normally to them as they do. His power is incredibly destructive. The largest output recorded at 13.9 mega ampere which was casted in a low arc over one thousand meters. This blast yielded no physical damage to Otto or his attire however the power output that was measured at impact shown a decrease in power to 4.6 Mega ampere. At the moment Otto can destroy objects up to medium sized vehicles such as full sized sedans and pickup trucks. However Otto doesn’t use this high end power because he prefers faster attacks, something that powerful takes more time than he likes. As for the latter, Otto has never taken out a city block, it’s not that he can’t, it’s that he is afraid of the consequences to himself if he does, when he uses high powered attacks he might get fatigued and he believes if he uses what he calls an “Ultimatum Attack” he will die. So he refuses to test these limits or push past what is a little uncomfortable for him. Otto has limited himself to 20Ma, as he knows he can reach this, it hasn’t been recorded, but 20Ma does drain his energy a good bit.

Personality: Otto can be hot headed, stubborn, kind and compassionate. Enjoys dark and crude humor which accompanied his good sense of humor, oh and he jokes about being dead inside. He also tends to be impatient, irritable and shifts around constantly probably due to his ability as Otto claims he has never been so energetic in his life. Have fun giving him orders. Otto also has not so great most of the time dreams so he tends to stay up rather late. Otto is also more likely to hold conversations later in the night as he is less energetic and more normalized.

A more in-depth look reveals he cares a lot about certain things such as animals, books and plants, not so much humans because “Humans suck...in general, for the most part... but not ALL humans. Like my friends, if they were here, but they aren’t, because humans suck...” according to Otto. However it doesn’t take long for him to get comfortable and begin to open up more to those in his everyday life. Otto does get attached to people he really cares about but shows his compassion in varying ways depending on the other person. This only occurs when he no longer feels awkward and that takes a very long time. Before that time he is rather clear cut how he is towards others. Much of it is small talk and acknowledging the existence of another person, simple “hellos” and such just to show He isn’t antisocial or unapproachable. Sure he says humans suck, but he too is human, so in that respect he treats others equally.

History: From his point of view “I had a whatever childhood, dropped out of school at sixteen and took my motorcycle to join an anarchist group to do anarchist things, so that was cool. I mean, it was for a while because when I was eighteen some schmuck with a test tube messed up everything up for everyone so yeah, the next couple of years was fun with all the looting and rioting I took part in. Until the mutations happened, it was cool for me, got to fry a bunch of psychos... so uh yeah, I’m not interested in this conversation anymore.” All of which is true, but what haunts him is his closest friends went insane from the virus and he did what he had to in order to survive.

Weapons of choice: Anything conductive that can cause additional damage if he and an enemy are up close and in his personal space, Swords, machete, knife, fork, spoon.....paperclips... well, probably not the latter, maybe with rubber bands? Preliminary tests show results as whatever. Sometimes enjoys the RK J-13 Heavy Laser, blows up stuff, it’s fun for Otto. If he fields a non bladed weapon the J-13 would be his choice due to the light weight package combined with great firepower.

Other: Find Otto some Ramones or Black flag, Slayer and Thrasher and He will be your friend... maybe... maybe not... food will definitely possibly get his friendship. Whishes he still had his electric guitar...

Personality: Before entering the bunker, Dorian was fixing to become a science fiction writer, because of this goal, he has a very creative imagination. And for him, Imagination is the ultimate weapon. Dorian can be down right blunt, unable to sugarcoat anything, whether it is due to being a personality quirk, or Asperger's syndrome, he' still can't figure out. When in combat, he can be a cold calculating tactician, or when in a blood lust a pathalogical, bloodthirsty, homicidal maniac, that will "eat" everything that moves. Besides the negative, he is a loyal friend, and will willingly stay behind it it means the other Deltas survive.

History: Dorian was 25 when he and the others were put on ice. Before the infected folk went insane he was taking creative writing courses, in the hopes to become novelist. This of course was put on hold indefinitely, when his own mutation occurred. His skin became a writhing mass of black and encarmine tendrils. This of course like any normal person, freaked him the fuck out and his panicked. After three days secluded in his apartment, he learned to manipulate not only his visage, but his entire body as well. When he tried to return his features back to their original form, they always looked twisted,and warped, puckered and scarred. Seeing that he could not fix it, after several hours of trying, he wrapped himself in bandages, covering all but his eyes. After that, he decided to test out his new gifts, and see what other things his ever evolving body could do. When the government learned he still kept his sanity, they quickly gathered him and others like him, few that they were and shipped them to an undisclosed area to be kept under watch. When the bombs fell, they were quickly packed into a bunker and put into cryo. for 30 long years they were frozen, and for 30 years their minds had been placed into countless simulations, training them to harness their powers, and work as a coordinated strike force to cleanse the world of the mad and mutated abominations.

Weapons of choice:
Type-57 Directed Energy Weapon (The Juicer): Fires a hyper accelerated particles that annihilates organic matter in a short burst. Semi-auto, firing a particle burst every half second to prevent overheating. The Power cell can hold up to 16 shots, before being depleted.​

Personality: Abby is super adaptable to any situation that comes her way. If things get particularly tough or emotional for her she tends to shut down and block everyone out for a while. She is generous and loves to help out in any situation she can, but is not a leader type. She is good at following directions, but would rather not give them.

History: Before the virus, Abby was going to college to become a physical therapist. She was very much into sports and wanted to help those who got injured. She was a fairly good student with a loving family (Mother, father, and little sister), and a lot of friends. When the outbreak began her and her family tried everything to stick together, but inevitably her parents had her take her younger sister and find somewhere safe on their own. They claimed that they were too old to be able to take care of them through the virus, although Abby never believed that. Once she began to develop her powers (her sister had died a little before this), she used them whenever she could, and this is when she was taken and frozen.

Power: Super Strength. Can break concrete and is effectively resistant against any weather. Could run for days and has more than once in simulation.

Personality: Once a laid-back person, now is a control-freak: Everything has to go perfectly, or things may go wrong and wrong is not good. An anxious mess. May talk to herself to feel better (30 years in practical loneliness makes you do that) Loves to make jokes and keep a light-hearted mood.

History: She lived with both of her parents and her little brother when it all went down. When they noticed her powers (she totally destroyed a water container), their neighbors threatened to call the police on them, if she didn't turn herself in because she was one of "them". After some goodbyes, she flew with to one of the bunkers. Hasn't dealt with the loss of her family or the Earth properly yet. Likes to think that one day everything will just fall in place and they'll all meet again. Doesn't give it much thought, tho.

Weapons of choice: A modified tracker that lets out a really loud and awful static sound. If you can't hit 'em, stunt them down from afar, right?

Other: Still wears her glasses all the time. Makes her feel safer.

Power
The Guardian- This being is considered to be a manifestation of Corentin’s telekinetic energy, despite most of it being stored outside of his physical body there is still enough remaining to have sort of a ‘bond’ with the outside source. Corentin considers this being to have its own personality and potentially even self-awareness. In battle, this power provides him protection from most heavy blows by shifting into a crystalline force field of sorts, but quickly reverts back into its invisible state when not needed. This also allows him to keep distance between him and his enemies for far range combat. If needed, the telekinetic energy can be roughly shoved outwards when being used in its force field form, which can throw enemies back 15-20 feet.

Personality
Corentin always seems to be deeply calm, even in the most stressful situations. He always seems to be glancing off in the distance. Despite his very distant and strange behavior, he is known to be kind to others and at least show some form of interest in communicating with them. Due to his desire for a job as a surgeon in the years before the infection went haywire, he expresses a want to treat other’s wounds or ailments. Corentin is known to be caring, but not overly smothering.

History
Corentin was a French Canadian foreign exchange student who was attending a medical school in New York, he was considered to be just an average college kid. Not too popular but not a complete outcast either. His power was discovered one day on his way to college after a car nearly swiped him at a red light when he crossed the road, a sudden field of energy spawning around him. The car’s front end had been obliterated, and it at least flipped several times over to the side. Street cameras had caught the entire incident, and he was soon sent off to the bunkers. Corentin went completely willingly though, believing it could be a chance for him to help others. Though he was completely unaware of what he had just gotten himself into.

Weapon of Choice
Corentin mostly prefers weapons of distance, such as modified laser rifles. If needed in close combat, he usually keeps a pistol or two strapped to his waist. Occasionally uses his field as a weapon.

Other
Corentin’s favorite hobby is to paint. Sometimes, if one is lucky to catch him, they can find him speaking to air.​

 

[Wandering Grim Hollow]

Name: Misha Kurosawa

Notable features: Has a rather noticable scar she hides under her fringe. Remains even after regerating.

Power: Accelerated regeneration. The standard Delta's healing factor turned up to 11. Misha can heal simple wounds in an instant and regrow limbs or organs in minutes. Research also predicts that she basically doesn't age anymore.

Personality: Misha is a quiet and timid sort of person. She doesn't let other people get to her and shows concern for people she is close to. In spite of her powers dulling her sense of pain, she still suffers from mild aglophobia and the thought of being hurt has caused her to freeze up. Due to her fear of pain, she has shown interest in medicine and goes out of her way to helping those who are visibly hurt.

History: Prior to the Outbreak, Misha was living a relatively normal life with her single parent and attending a public highschool. When the Outbreak started, she initially listed as one of the dead after an out of control bus drove through the crowd. That changed when a very confused, cold and living Misha started banging on the cold storage door of a morgue. It was then that she was sent to a Bunker and volunteered to be in the Delta Program. Funnily enough, ending up in another cold place once more.

Weapons of choice: High caliber handguns and SMGs. Also proficient in shotguns and semi-automatic rifles. As for melee weapons, Misha favours blunt weapons and can manage a knife.

Other: Semi-fluent in Russian but doesn't speak a lick of Japanese other than simple phrases. Much to her annoyance when asked why.

Personality: To put it quite simply, she is very motherly. Eva is a mature person that can be sarcastic sometimes and firmly believes in tough love. In dire situations, she is brave for the people she want to protect. This can also be a weakness for her since she is always willing to put others before herself.

History: Eva wasn't always the mature woman that she is currently, she was actually kind of rebellious. She was a culinary student that partied often, dabbled a little in trying out different narcotics, and slept with guys she hardly even knew. This all changed on a dime when she found out she was pregnant at the age of 21 in the middle of 2017. Of course she was fearful that her baby might become infected, but she kept it anyway. She prepared herself mentally maturing quickly for the sake of her baby to keep her head on straight and even finished culinary school. She Things started looking up for her, that was until she got bad news, her child was infected. In 2018 when it announced that there wasn't going to be a cure, she had no choice but to let go of the baby. This emotionally hurt her, but she worked too hard to better herself just to fall into depression permanently, especially with the world starting to crumble like it was. Instead, she continued cooking as a chef even amidst the craziness of the world in order to bring good food to those who need it.

Telepathy- Emma Is capable of reading the minds of all within her visual range. While mental barriers established by Frank prevent her from using the bulk of her powers on the other Delta's, she can however communicate telepathically with them even if they are outside of her visual range. Enemies who are not her squad mates will find themselves on the receiving end of Mental assaults ranging from Hallucinations, to psychosomatic pain, rolling waves of unconsciousness, and even Sensory assaults that can knock foes into a catatonic state. She can also read and scan the memories of the recently deceased so long as their brain is still intact. Lastly she can Connect the minds of other Delta's allowing them to share experience, emotional spectrums, and even pain, an extremely painful injury isnt so bad when the pain is split between eight.

Personality: Emma is a stern and commanding figure that downright bristles with authority. She is not aggressive or rude, but she does not take crap from anyone regardless of who or what they are. Though usually calm, collected, and in control she does have a wild streak which has been shown in VR surprisingly competent in combat situations she is both intelligent and ruthless in battle. As the world fell around her, she seemed to retreat into herself finding solace in the things she could control.

History: Born in Austin Texas emma was one of the mean girls in her school. Popular and wealthy due to her parents excellent jobs and her natural beauty she seemed to struggle at nothing on the surface. Excellent grades, athletic achievements, and at the top of the social ladder. That was before the accident, her parents got in a head on collision with a drunk driver and both were killed.

The 11 year old girls life changed so drastically, and she had a say in none of it. She wound up being moved to a middle class family in houston. But where most young kids would crumble under these circumstances she pushed herself to new heights. More parties and friends, more effort in volleyball and track, even going so far as to become valedictorian. When she finally graduated and looked behind her at her life she found the drive to go further.

She went to college for Buisness and Law, gaining a bachelors in both before moving to join the Senate as a junior member. It was around this time that the virus came. Again she seemed to utterly decimate the competition, in this case the idiotic bipartisanship in the government. Her power was actually put to use early on to push the congress, the Senate, and the President to agree on the three part project. Once it became apparent that she had used her powers on the government however she lost her position, and was scheduled to be executed for treason. Yet as the bombs fell the mysterious man who had come to her with the Bunker plan came again. Taking her from her prison cell to the cryopod in an instant where she was put on ice.

Weapons of choice:
Falcon 10- a semi automatic weapon which fires .45 Caliber Depleated Urainium rounds at an incredibly high velocity on account of magnetic propulsion. Extended mags allow up to 18 rounds per magazine.

Mantis type 2- A small fully automatic hand held Smg which fires explosive 9mm rounds. Its fire rate and accuracy are very extreme allowing it to quickly spray out immense amounts of damage.

Laser wire- A twin spike system that allows her to erect a laser tripwire up to 30ft wide. The laser connects the two spikes and cuts like a lightsaber.

Fury frag grenade- a typical frag grenade but instead of the usual charge it is filled with a phosphorous base which super heats the shrapnel creating an omnidirectional molten metal shower.

Other:
While she is usually level headed, she can be quite deadly when steamed. Every rose has its thorns.
