Synopsis:
"Set 1000 years after the events of Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: The Story of Time focuses on a real life modern times based setting and features a Kingdom of Hyrule unlike ever seen beforehand. The story features not just the young man known, as Link, as the primary protagonist of the story-line but also others, destined to reshape Hyrule's future, for better, or, for worse...having combined both magic and science together to create alchemy and use said alchemy to lead Hyrule into a futuristic industry of both peace and prosperity, the kingdom itself however, is naught without both dark and evil shadows lurking about, as a new threat to Hyrule's stability is slowly but surely making itself known, intent on destroying the balance between all both people and things that reside within the kingdom's borders...this threat calls itself the "Cult of Ganon", otherwise known, as the "Cult of the Calamity" and they are descended from the ancient Yiga tribe from 1000 years past that once distanced themselves from the Sheikah tribe that still to this very day serve the royal monarch family of Hyrule. The Yiga once had worshiped the source of all pure evil within the world, the demonic being that was once known, as Calamity Ganon and now, their descendants, simply known, as the "Cult" are intending to resurrect the ancient wellspring of evil in its purest, raw form by finding the legendary treasure of the Kingdom of Hyrule, the sacred relic of the golden goddesses that once descended from the sacred realm, the Triforce. The Triforce, left behind by Hyrule's creators, Din, Goddess of Power, Nayru, Goddess of Wisdom and Farore, Goddess of Courage, entrusted to the maiden purest of all both hearts and good within the entire world itself, the bestowed titled Goddess Hylia that would over time come to create that which would one day become the Kingdom of Hyrule, her task was to protect the Triforce until the "Story of Time" had finally come to an end, an ancient long forgotten prophecy told within both the Sheikah tribe and the royal family of the kingdom. The Story of Time represents the flow of time itself, past, present and future all alike, the Cult believes that by stealing the ancient scrolls that speak about the story of which they did would they find a clue to the whereabouts of the Triforce, for after the final both defeat and destruction of Calamity Ganon, the descendant of Hylia's bloodline, the Princess Zelda of Hyrule, reincarnated once every generation alongside the Calamity itself had broken apart all of the powers that make up the Triforce and had sent three pieces of it, representing the three virtues of the golden goddesses, Din, Nayru and Farore respectively, to three distant timelines over the past that had occurred following the events of Calamity Ganon's ultimate demise. In which reincarnations of the goddesses themselves had lived during those three different timelines and they would bare the three Triforces that they each represent, hiding themselves away among the peoples of the kingdom, making sure that their Triforce pieces would never be found nor even discovered by the Cult of which was already born and had also amassed a huge number of followers during those times, to protect the goddesses, they were accompanied by special loyal bodyguards that belonged to the Sheikah tribe that would follow the reincarnations of the goddesses to the ends of the earth, till death do they part...however, despite all of the necessary protection, the Cult had started to grow stronger over time somehow by enforcing themselves with the powers of demonic energy, apparently according to rumors they feasted on the remnants of Calamity Ganon's powers of darkness, including the monsters born from that very same darkness and by feasting, the Cult has now become monsters themselves, the level of transformations into monsters differing between how much of strong wills that they have and embody...the leader of the Cult who calls himself "Illuminati" proclaims that he has feasted upon over 10,000 monsters and is the only one so far to still have a conscience of sorts, thus he had become the leader of the Cult and now commands all of its followers to wreak both havoc and destruction across all the time periods of the Kingdom of Hyrule, having seemingly become immortal and has gained eternal youth due to the number of dark souls he has feasted upon...he uses his dark powers to send his monstrous minions across the three time periods in which the golden goddesses had reincarnated in order to both kill them and steal their Triforce fragments, his ultimate objective, to revive the original form of Calamity Ganon's spirit and give it a human body once more, Ganon's original persona known, as Ganondorf...time is slowly starting to change due to the effects that Illuminati and his Cult are having on Hyrule's history throughout the flow of time, the modern Hyrule is starting to fall back into its medieval times and especially crumble apart into nothingness, to stop this work of evil's madness, to ensure that the Story of Time still continues weaving...karma and all the forces of spiritual reality itself has been made known, for the one other reincarnated alongside those that possess the blood of the Goddess Hylia and the hatred of Calamity Ganon has been reborn...he possesses the spirit of the original hero that once defended Hylia during the origins of Hyrule's dark times and now, Link, the only person that can freely cross all different time periods without any backlashes on his being whatsoever, aided by trustworthy friends, family and comrades must now all work together to save the reincarnated golden goddesses and stop the resurrection of Ganondorf before its too late.
