Personality: Originally all about morals, and doing the right thing. He's changed alot during his time in hell city. He had always wanted to be the hero, and do right in the world. That was until he lost his girlfriend when someone, aka Anita that stupid b!t©h Thomas, killed her. After that he sort of broke down.
He decided to toss away all his old ideals, and now he's a mericless, vendetta seeking, not to forget overly protective, and obsessed man. He shows no mercy to anyone he considers a criminal, and will act as judge, jury, and exicutioner. He can be more or less his normal self when he's not around criminals, or on the job. But he sees it as his duty to wipe out as much crime as possible while he's alive. When he's with Bern his personality takes another change. He becomes incredibly protective, and even jelous around her. He also tends to troll people, enjoying messing with others.
He's not a very out going person, nor does he care much about money. He only cares about Bern, and his progression with his mission. He doesn't take sarcasm well, and wont hesitate to smack someone up the head if they piss him off. He genuinely believes that he can do no wrong, as he's the only person trying to do something in a city filled with criminals. While he's very protective of Bern, this can sometimes turn deadly for her. As he will do whatever it takes to protect her, even if that means holding her hostage, or worse. He has a deep hatred for Anita, and due to his relationship with her, her also hates Don. Although he blames himself for Kathy's death more than anyone. Which is why he's started his new vendeda against crime.
Backstory: As a young man Yozaku joined the HCPD. He was a bright young go getter, and had a good outlook on life. He believed that the world could always change for the better, no matter how bad it got. He meet his first partner, and learned much about his new work place. How corrupt it was, that the police were all some kind bad. Either they brutalized people, took bribes, or abused their power in some way. Luckily Yozakus partner was one of the good ones, and they quickly grew to like one another. True his outlook was far grimmer than Yozaku's but they still managed. One night they were on a drive, just your normal ride around the block. Trying to spot any suspicious activity, when they came upon some men who seemed to be disposing of something.
They tossed what would later turn out to be the body of a major crime boss, into a trash can. The set it on fire, Yozaku, and his partner persude them. During the pursuit they where driven off the road, and crashed off a bridge. When he woke up he was in the hospital missing an arm. He was lucky enough to get new cybernetics, but while he was injured he couldn't work. So he couldn't pay his bills, and lost his home. Although upon checking out what he believed to be a domestic dispute of some sort. He meet two young girls, one named Anita, and the other Kathy. They lived alone, and after some discussion agreed to let him live with them. So he spent some time with them, and even became close to Kathy the younger sister. They began dating, and while she was still very shy he began to really care for her.
Although he was unaware of her past, as well as what business she was currently mixed up in. When Anita found out about her sister being responsible for their parents death, she confronted Kathy. Then killed her, Yozaku blamed himself for not being able to protect Kathy, and broke down. He gave up on his hero crusade, and took on a darker more grim approach. He would show no mercy to criminals, and do whatever he needed to take them down. This new thought process rocketed Yozaku in his career. He was soon the new Chief of Police, which seemed to attract the attention of a certain mastermind. Yozaku had been investigating a person responsible for many crimes, and found Bernkastel. Normally he would have taken her down easily. But he couldn't help but fall for her. She played him like a flute, and now he works by her side. True he's basically her puppet, but Yozaku's connections, and skills truly make him, and Bern. A deadly alliance, so now they'll carry out their plans together, a Yozaku shall see where the future takes them.
Gear/Weapons: He has a high powered stun baton, a rocket launcher he keeps for a special occasion, two pistols of varying caliburs, and of course his cybernetics.
Strengths:
-super human strength in his right arm
- targeting system in his left eye along with its other abilities
Weaknesses:
-He's unstable, and rash, so often doesn't think before he acts.This can also cause some odd behavior from him. Such as him breaking down and crying, or any number of things.
-His cybernetic eye still tends to Glitch, so it's not always reliable.
Fighting Style: He has police training, so he uses that primarily. He's also very skilled with his cybernetics, making the best of their abilities.
Skills:
Investigative skills, due to his line of work he's become very observant, and his deductive skills are far superior to most peoples
Basic combat skills: He's trained in basic hand to hand combat, and firearm skills. Although his cybernetics parts help enhance this.
Driving skills: Probably the thing he's most proud of is his driving capabilities. He can out drive just about anyone in hell city, and has yet to lose in any kind of car related battle.
Achievements/Crimes Committed
He's taken down several gangs, both large and small since he's been chief.
He's driven through hell city in under three minutes.
He's managed to win Bernkastel's heart, or so he thinks.
