The East

The far East is known as the land of mist and shadow, for it is dark and covered in mist. It consists of swamps and moors, dangerous to man and dwarf alike. It is believed that in its waters live Watchers and Stalkers, and those who dare venture into the Misty Lands seldom live to tell the tale.

But even farther, beyond the Misty Lands, is believed to be an ancient castle of light, with Elven relics and powerful magic that could fell whole armies, but none venture this far to know the truth. The castle is called Gortis, yet the myth is not quite viral.

But even less East, closer to the West and the center of the world, a wide sand of desert could be found, with several wells believed to have been built by the Elves.

The West

The far West is known as the land of bandits and the land of heat. It is abundant with cacti, carcasses, and canyons. Vultures, foxes, snakes, and tortoises live in the dry and hot land, feeding on what they find. Unlike the Eastern desert, the Hot Lands are not sandy; the ground is cracked yet even, and only a single river runs across one of its canyons.

It is also plentiful in valleys and burrows, allowing bandits to hide to attack passing merchants who have no other routes to take. A few villages exist in this land, thriving on wells, raising cattle, and farming.

The South

The far South is known as the land of gold. It is, surprisingly indeed, quite green and full of trees, yet it is hot. Many streams run through it, and three long rivers. The Golden Land has many animals that range from zebras and flamingos to lions and ostriches. The earth is filled with gold, diamond, and many other jewels valuable to man. Dwarves live in its golden mountains, and it has very little dragons.

Past the Golden Mountains, acacia trees and savannah grass end, and are replaced by the plains.

The North

The far North is the land of ice. It is cold, covered in snow, its grass and even trees hidden beneath a blanket of white. Its rivers and lakes are frozen most of the time, and it never rains, but rather snows. Wolves and reindeer and other roam these lands, making them quite dangerous, and the harsh cold and eventual snowstorms and blizzards make the Frozen Lands quite challenging. A single village exists in the far North, with people that dress in bear hide and feed on reindeer and fish, along with berries and sometimes other fruits or vegetables when they could.

Closer to the center, it is much less colder, where it gets covered in snow during winter instead of the whole year, and food is much more diverse, and it is not nearly as harsh.

The Center

The center is a decent land; wide green plains with forests of oak and birch. The ancient ruins of a tower stand there, but no other remnants of ancient civilizations. It has a few hills, yet most of it is flat, and on it was built the great kingdom of Naeput.

Other

Under the Eastern hills, The Great Smials could be found; huge tunnels that extend deep underground for many miles, and in them live Hobbits, built homes as smaller, branching tunnels, forming a city for the halflings. Above the land, they have many farms and fields, with the only buildings being the round doors that lead to the Hobbit Holes above the ground, and the few large dome-like buildings that lead to the Smials, and the fences that separate the pieces of land. They plant the best apple trees and tobacco, and the land is called Hobbiton.
