Role: Female Druid
1d61e7a81e4becf8eca1fb7858e5a0a7.jpg

Name: Antigone

Appearance: Long red hair, hazel eyes, and blue tattoos across her shoulders and down her arms. She is 5’8”

Gender: Female

Age: 29

Gender: Heterosexual

Personality: Antigone is protective, resourceful and maternal. She doesn’t give a toss about what people think of her. As far as she is concerned, other people’s opinions are none of her business. Underlying her maternal drive is a cutthroat nature that rears it’s head when her nearest and dearest are threatened.

Background: Antigone was born Lady Imogen Fletchborne, the only daughter of Lord & Lady Fletchborne, ranking nobility in the kingdom of Morava. This is something she doesn’t ever divulge if she can help. Stories of their depravities have spread far and wide, and the rumors don’t hardly match the reality of what she saw growing up. Her childhood was miserable, and desperately lacking for genuine paternal affection and guidance.

When she was young, she discovered an affinity for plant magic, and a connection with animals. When she told her parents, they tried to turn her gifts to their own use. She refused to have a hand in anything to do with hurting innocent people. At the tender age of 8, she ran away from home. She tried again at the age of 8 and a half, then 9, and finally, when she was 10, she succeeded. She hid herself the deep forest, covered in tree roots she grew to hide herself. She didn’t dare to venture out of her hiding spot for nearly a week, and when she did, she was faint with hunger. A group of travelling druids found her, nursed her back to health, and trained her. For the past few years, she has felt the earth become increasingly unsettled, and has recently left the druid circle to find out its cause.

Weapon: she carries a bladed staff, which is capable of using, but her true ability lies in her plant magic. She an also create a bond with up to 3 animals at a time. She can release the animal, but can’t immediately replace it with another and must wait at least 3 days for the break inside her to heal. The closer the bond, the longer she has to wait. Currently, she shares a bond with a mouse, to give her access to small areas and information, a large, white wolf to help her hunt, and a bear, for protection.

Position: The Fallen Heir
57ca6d159674aee8d0e01166850dd8e4--knight-armor-art-pics.jpg
Name: Aevar Istedir
Appearance: 5'11 light brown hair, brown eyes.
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Orientation: Heterosexual
Personality: Aevar is a steadfast individual willing to stand up for those he knows will do the same for him. If there is one thing that he cannot stand, is someone lying about their motives or lying to gain power. However, that doesn't mean he won't tell people that he is willing to use them to obtain his own goals. While he may seem just, he is rather neutral, he will do what he must to accomplish his goal. That being said, he is often light-hearted, though if someone wrongs him and he believes his cause is just he will hold that grudge.
History: Aevar grew up in a rather lavish lifestyle, he was born as the son of the Morava Sovereign. He always had the best education and martial training that a son of a king could have. He was taught about the two other kingdoms. When he was younger, he didn't think too much about justice and how things should be handled. Though as he grew up he started to see that not all actions needed to end in death. Upon him learning his father was the false sovereign, he went to confront him to see if the rumors were true. His father then swiftly threw him out of the palace with nothing but the weapon he had on him and the armor on his back.

On that day he swore that he would return and claim his throne even if that meant killing his father to do so. He felt like the throne was taken from him and left looking for a means to take his revenge. So he decide that he was going to seek out the true sovereign as a means to accomplish his goal. Seeing that as the best way and the quickest way to reclaim his throne. He took odd jobs here and there while on his search listening for rumors of anyone that seemed to meet the requirements of the true soverign.
Weapon: Halberd

THE HEALER
Aenwyn
Female - 97 - Gay

Art is from nipuni. (Her email is nipunipatreon@hotmail.com)

Personality: Blunt to the point of barbed, Aenwyn does little to hide that she expects all of them to die of idiocy. She cares--too much she’d say--to let it happen, so she’s often giving tonics to the group to help them recover or keep them well. (ie “That cold you had last month, well I hear a wheeze in your breathing. Take this.”) At the same time, she’s perfectly willing to paralyze someone temporarily to treat them. There isn't any hiding of injuries around her. She’s not someone to relax or let things go, instead, she’s often working with her herbs for better solutions or trying to learn spells to protect the idiots before they get hurt.

History: Raised in a family of healers, Aenwyn started healing young. It was usually scrapes and bruises of other children and broken bones as she aged. Her life was carefree, only being called into the clinic for training, the rest of it was spent playing in the woods with the other children. They could go further with her, as their parents trusted her to be able to help if anything happened.

It was wonderful until a sickness spread throughout the town. Healing magic can’t cure sicknesses. It can heal the damage to the body, and try to support the organs, but the illness itself is strengthened by healing magic if used. Soon, the sickness was throughout town. It was as if a body would expel everything it had, through vomiting or diarrhea. And anyone who helped caught it. Aenwyn was forbidden to help. She and the other children were told to stay in the woods, to isolate them from the town. But sometimes one of the children would get sick. And they’d have to go to town to be treated, but they never returned. Aenwyn was only 65 years old, but soon the sickness had spread throughout the town with only a few dozen of the children left. A monkey, a companion of a druidic child, who carried messages between the two groups confirmed it. Along with the adults’ last message, to leave, abandon the city.

Weapon: A bo staff; she might not be as strong as the warriors, but she’s not stupid enough to just carry a stick. She can still channel her magic through it, even in two pieces.

THE SELLSWORD

Myara Etyana Valar

Female - 28 - Gay

Appearance
With her unnaturally pale hair and glowing amber eyes, Myara would be unnerving to look at without the full armor and the longsword she is never seen without.

At 5'4 and with a rather stocky build, she is what you might call a power package- meaning a lot of strength packed into a deceptively small container.
Personality
Silent, grim and intimidating, the sellsword doesn't believe in small talk or wasted breath, refusing to use a full sentence when a single word will suffice, or a word when a gesture or grunt will do.

She believes in business first and isn't the friendliest type, appearing not to be in possession of a sense of humor. But she is professional, dedicated and efficient, and (unsurprisingly) very good at her job.
History
Born and raised in the merciless kingdom of Torrent, Myara's story is a common one: her parents were poor and, to supplement their income and at the same time be rid of the drain represented by their child, she was given to the army at the tender age of twelve.

The Torrential Army was famous for its training and the ruthlessness of its child soldiers, and though the experience was anything but pleasant it did teach her essential skills- strength, endurance, combat-, for the ones who didn't break became sharp as folded steel; living, breathing weapons.

After several successful and extremely bloody campaigns, Myara was smart enough to know to get out. She didn't have the temperament for captaincy, and staying a lowly grunt meant she had a remaining life expectancy of about three to five more years if she was lucky.

At twenty-three, she left the army and began to offer her skills as a sword-for-hire. The tasks varied from the ridiculously mundane to the insanely dangerous, but she was skilled enough to handle them all, and smart enough to charge her clients accordingly.

One day, however, a bunch of ruffians she'd previously taught a lesson to decided to get even, and they ambushed her in the woods. Caught off-guard and thoroughly outnumbered, the odds were looking unusually bleak when a passing stranger came to her aid.

After lending his assistance and effectively saving her life, Myara felt honor-bound to repay him and swore to stay by his side until she had either squared away her debt or died trying- they've been travelling together since.
Weapon(s)
She still carries her army-issued longsword to this day. The blade, of far better crafstmanship than that of the average soldier, was given to her as a reward for valor in the field.

She also carries a handful of small additional daggers concealed about her body.

THE THIEF

Julian Valerius the IIIrd

Male - 25 - Straight

Appearance
Standing 6 feet tall, lithe, athletic, and reasonably muscular, Julian is easy on the eyes, and he knows it.

Excessively vain, he takes better care of his hair than the average noblewoman, accessorizing in the mirror each morning and going so far even as to pluck his eyebrows.
Personality
Flighty, flirty, and infuriating beyond belief, it's all but impossible to get him to take anything seriously.

He's all about instant gratification and doing what he wants and, to him, things like rules, responsabilities, and doing the right thing are all just unnecessary obstacles to enjoying yourself and living a happy life.
History
As is often the case, Julian's flamboyant facade is really just a front for deep-seated resentment and insecurity.

Though most believe his name to be a fabrication, taken on the same way so many thieves do to make themselves seem important and high-born, in his case he comes by the aristocratic affect naturally, actually being heir to one of the many noble houses in Morava's decadent and corrupted court. Or at least, he was.

Due to machinations and intrigue and the capricious nature of their ruler, the House of Valerius fell out of favor with Queen Iselde when Julian was still a child, and he went from being a member of a respected and envied family to being a social pariah. His parents squandered the Valerius fortune trying to get back into Iselde's good graces, and by the time Julian was a teenager they were penniless and forced out of their house.

Julian adapted quickly, strong survival instincts pushing him to acquire new knowledge and new skills. He soon distanced himself from his family as he became one of the most proficient thieves in Morava's capital city, but in spite of this he never did choose to drop his name or the remainder of his aristocratic pretense.

Eventually, fate brought about an encounter with an old childhood friend- none other than the Heir of Morava who, hellbent on revenge and reclaiming his throne, convinced Julian to join him on his quest with promises of riches beyond counting and the chance of sticking it to everyone who ever screwed them over.

It didn't take much convincing.
Weapon(s)
Many different daggers of all shapes and sizes are both visible and concealed about his person.

Position: Sorceress

Appearance: Marnie is half waterelf, half human. She is 5’8” and 59kg. Her skin is a light teal colour and her hair is a mixture of sapphire and light blue with coral pink streaks running through it. Her ears are webbed, helping her to hear even the quietest of sounds.

Name: Marnie Sapphire

Gender: Female

Age: 84-years-old

Orientation: Bisexual

Personality: Marnie is a very profoundly thoughtful, existential person who may come across as aloof in her moments of deep thought. But don’t let this scare you away, when not thinking about magic, her past or how her and the mercenary group are going to take down the False Sovereigns, Marnie is a very friendly, sweet and empathetic person who, just as she is thoughtful about her work, is just as thoughtful about people. Whenever you need help or a shoulder to lean on, Marnie is the one who should come to mind first and foremost. She’s an incredibly good listener, understanding that sometimes people don’t need advice, they may just need the company of a listening ear, a hug and a few perfectly placed witty jokes to make them smile. But don’t mistake her kindness for naivety, she is an intelligent woman with the know how to spot liars and those who have nefarious intentions.

History: Marnie was born to a waterelf lord and a human servant. Her pregnant mother was exiled from the lord’s town and forced to live in a faraway forest village until she gave birth. This village is where Marnie grew up and where she learnt sorcery, and her mother learnt how to bake, to earn money for food and necessities. Her childhood was simple and modest, but happy. She had many friends amongst the villages children and spent any time that she was not working using her magic to entertain them.

As a teenager, her beloved village was pillaged. Many homes were looted and burnt to the ground and villagers and her friends were killed where they stood. Marnie escaped, but only due to her adolescent endurance. Her mother was missing for many years after this event and Marnie spent all of this time trying to find her. But she had no idea if her mother was even alive. Only hope of hugging her mother once again kept her mission alive. To this day Marnie is still searching for her mother, hoping that one day they will be reunited and she will be able to tell her about all of the adventures she has been on.

Weapon: Twisted oak and birch staff adorned with holly, feathers, ribbons and beads.

Position: Druid (Brother)
Appearance: Crowned by a thick mop of red hair to match his sister's, with brilliant light brown eyes that quite resemble caramel, Agathon boasts a rather handsome visage. His elegant features allude to the noble lineage he conceals, marked by a strong, square jaw, high cheekbones, a somewhat snubbed nose, and fine, supple lips. He stands at 5'10 with a lean, well-muscled physique, one that does not lack in formidability what it does in brawn!
Name: Agathon. Declan Feltchborne.
Gender: Male.
Age: 26.
Orientation: Bisexual.
Personality: Agathon's wit serves as the basis of his nature. A sly, silver-tongued man, he has a knack for talking his way out of... just about whatever his somewhat reckless, audacious attitude gets him into. He can come across as rather laissez-faire, with a seemingly complete disregard for consequence, but what that foolish valor conceals is quite the opposite. See, beneath that easy-going, carefree demeanor lies a roiling sea of emotion. Agathon, truly, is quite a sensitive soul--he is compassionate and empathetic, almost to a fault, with a strong sense of morality that drives him to impulsivity. For this same reason, he can also be rather unforgiving and stubborn, especially when those he loves (namely, his sister) are harmed or wronged. He is also the brooding type, not one of thin-skin by any means, but will self-isolate should he feel considerably hurt, offended or just generally low (moods of which he is quite prone to). He often sorts through his emotions this way: internally, and independently, though he will wear himself thin before he allows another to do so. He is also much less confident than he portrays, haunted by a childhood where neither he nor his sister could amount to his parents' high, cruel expectations.
History: Agathon remembers the day his sister's magic finally manifested, and how his family tried to bend her to their brutal will. He was merely a toddler, a good three years younger than Antigone, but the recollection still haunts him with a merciless clarity. As do each of her numerous attempts to flee their cruel home, and how their parents reacted. It founds the profound, unfaltering admiration and fidelity Agaton feels for his sister; why, on the night of her final, successful attempt, he decided to follow her. He remembers little of that near-week in the woods, watching her as she disguised herself in roots of her own creation, while he hunkered in the midst of nearby bushes himself. When she finally ventured out, he made sure to stick close behind, revealing himself when a group of druids threatened to whisk her away and tear them apart forever. He changed his name, like her; joined the druids, right by her side, and plunged his past into the same secrecy she adheres to. Under their watchful care, Agathon came into his own magic: of elements. He finds he can conjure small flames, droplets of water, and shift a breeze here and there, but he it appears more of a party-trick to him than something to utilize in battle. Yet, plant magic? He finds he has none of, as if every drop of such a strain in his blood went right to his sister. Not that he minds; for him, magic is only another haunting reminder of his parents' cruelty. When Antigone departed the Druids to discover the reason behind the earth's upset, he followed in her stead, not quite caring where he ends up, so long as he remains abreast of her.
Weapon: While he possesses elemental magic, it remains admittedly weak. Thus, he relies mostly on his spear, and an arsenal of daggers he keeps fitted across his body for easy access.

Kash Willik, Bard Extraordinaire

d28w2zh-99e8309a-aa5a-4cce-9dc7-97a6d9b60939.jpg
(Image belongs to its respective owner)

Appearance:
Stands at roughly 5'7, olive skinned, and usually prefers to wear a light blue tunic with brown trousers and some worn leather boots, each of which has some kind of funny gold design to it, weaved onto the fabric by Kash himself. A mop of golden hair covers his head, and his eyes are two separate colors; one, a sparkling amber, and the other a calming blue. His build is rather lithe but toned, though you couldn't tell just by looking at him. A belt of small knives lines his chest for easy access, and an ornate wooden flute hangs suspended by the belt on his hip. The entire garb is typically hidden by a long lavender cloak, one he refuses to replace despite its obvious age and use.

Position:
Bard

Gender:
Male

Age:
91

Orientation:
Heterosexual

Personality (Abridged):
Kash is extremely happy-go-lucky and quite an airhead, more often than not resulting in many an accident he has to apologize for. However, his sunny disposition and boundless optimism never keeps him down or embarrassed for long, and he is quite often seen smiling a big goofy grin while attempting to get those around him to do the same. He's not the kind who's unwilling to embarrass himself, often making jokes at his own expense if it makes others laugh, even if they're laughing at him, not with, and can be naively kind and trusting, even to those who may not deserve it.

Bio:
Being a Bard is no easy task, but for Kash, the occupation was a no brainer. As a baby, he was stolen from his parents and put onto the slave market, where he was bought, surprisingly, by the ringmaster of a circus, who couldn't believe that a mere mewling babe was being auctioned off like an animal to people who no doubt had more nefarious plans in mind. The Ringmaster, Aelon, took him in as his own, and the boy grew up in the strange but loving arms of the circus folk. It was there that he learned how to play a flute, and found he was surprisingly good at it, using his music to assist in certain comedy acts or dramatic setpieces. The circus was also how he came to be so skilled with the throwing of knives, the Dagger Master taking him as an understudy for days he couldn't perform.

Eventually, Aelon grew too old to be Ringmaster, and fell ill. Kash stayed by his side for weeks, desperately attempting to stay positive for the man he considered a father. But, like all things eventually must, Aelon breathed his last, telling his son he had made him so proud to be a father while the last bits of life left his body. It was the first time Kash had wept in sorrow, and while he was happy Aelon no longer suffered from his illness, the hole his father left in his heart ached. He wouldn't let his fathers livelihood and the family he had come to adore crumble to pieces, and took up the mantle of Ringmaster. In his care, the circus took a more organized direction, its members taking after Kash's example and doing their best not only to entertain, but to help the people of the towns they were in however they could.

Kash loved the life of the circus and the people who raised him, but as he grew older, he began to take in just how distraught the land was, and his thoughts grew ever more towards just who his parents were. He felt that he could be doing more, that he SHOULD be doing more. Kash wanted everyone else to feel the joy he felt in the small things in life, to trust their neighbors and to love one another like how he loved the members of the circus, and unfortunately, staying with his family wasn't going to accomplish that. So, at age 88 (quite young for an elf), he collected his things, gave his family a very long and tearful farewell, and set off on the simple quest of finding people to help, and perhaps a hint to his lineage. Its been three years since then, but his determination hasn't waned, nor has his smile. Even if its just mainly traveling from town to town, playing his flute and entertaining the locals with knife tricks while occasionally stepping into violent altercations, he is content with the work he's doing. He only wishes he could affect a greater number of people, to do something that would inspire hope and joy back into the commonfolks lives...and fortunately, at a seedy tavern in the rough part of town, an opportunity lies that will provide him with the means to do just that.

Weapon:
Kash relies mainly on throwing daggers during any real combat, and as such cannot do much in the way of direct fighting, but with a bit of air in his flute, he can inspire his allies to fight harder and longer, or make his enemies seemingly lose the will to continue.

The Fallen Heir
Aevar Istedir
Male - 22 - Straight
Appearance
5'11, dark brown hair, brown eyes.
Personality
Unabashedly blunt, Aevar is about as easy to read as a book or a tavern sign. He doesn't like many people, especially after he was 'disowned', to put it lightly, by his mother the Morava Sovereign. Since his deposition, Aevar has become especially bitter towards everyone and everything, except for his close childhood friend Julian.
History
Aevar grew up in a rather lavish lifestyle, he was born as the son of the Morava Sovereign. He always had the best education and martial training that a sovereign-to-be should have. He was taught about the two other kingdoms. When he was younger, he didn't think too much about justice and how things should be handled. Though as he grew up he started to see that not all actions needed to end in death. Upon him learning his mother was a false sovereign, he went to confront her to see if the rumors were true. His mother then swiftly threw him out of the palace with nothing but the weapon he had on him and the armor on his back. On that day he swore that he would return and claim his throne even if that meant killing his mother to do so. He felt like the throne was taken from him and left looking for a means to take his revenge. So he decide that he was going to seek out the True Sovereign as a means to accomplish his goal. Seeing that as the best way and the quickest way to reclaim his throne. He took odd jobs here and there while on his search listening for rumors of anyone that seemed to meet the requirements of the True Sovereign.
Weapon(s)
