The King's Game
The Lore
The world is run by God-Like Humans called the Kings. These beings have immense power and a surplus of abilities. They each have their own region of the world they control. They decide the outcome of their locations and hold the power of life and death in their hands. They are the rulers of their areas, stronger power than any human can ever dream. The Kings are immortal and almost undefeatable. They live as long as they want, and when they no longer wish to be the King, all they have to do is pick a successor.
Most people believe this is just a legend. The average human being has no idea that these beings even exist. They live their everyday life not knowing of the beings that live within their world. Completely unaware of the massive power that controls their very existence. There are some, however, who have experienced the power of these Kings first hand.
There are 5 Kings currently in the world, each controlling their own continent in this futuristic version of Earth. However, one of the biggest continents in the world contains the futuristic, advanced city of
Atarashī Hajimari, or A New Beginning. It's a city many people travel to in their lives. Many people believe it's the chance to start a new, exciting life.
Now the city will be a new start for one lucky soul as one of the King's decide to start his own game to find a successor. A game that will decide who will take his throne and rule over the kingdom. The King, Akio, has had picked people from around his world and given each one of them a special power based on the lives they lived. Now, these hand selected few must battle it out and fight each other to decide who will become the next King.
If you have been selected for this battle, you found yourself heading to the city, unsure of why you went there. Almost as if a supernatural force brought you to this city. Or maybe you already lived there? Either way, now you're trapped, participates are not allowed to leave this city. Can't have the participants leaving the battle arena.
So now... it's time for the show to begin! Get ready for the best show of your life!
