The Kane Twins
Names: Vesper (White-haired) and Lukan (blue-haired) Kane. Also known as V and Luke

Personality: Together the two of them are very similar. Quick to make sarcastic jabs and quips and laugh at each other's lame jokes. They're prone to messing around or getting distracted with whatever grabs their attention. They're virtually impossible to tell apart personality wise if left together. Apart, however, Vesper is far more talkative and easily flirts with anything he considers attractive (which is everyone basically). He's overly friendly and pretty rude to those on the more sensitive side or virtually intolerable to those who get annoyed easily. Lukan is quieter and observes more than he speaks. If he does speak it's to make a sarcastic comment or a helpful tidbit followed by sarcasm. He's either overly bored or overly curious there isn't really an in between for him. Be that as it may he's far better at holding intellectual conversations compared to his brother if with the right person and is more likely to be nicer company.
History: Vesper and Lukan aren't the most identical looking of twins. Both from the same orphanage it could easily be assumed they simply are the best of friends except that they're both Weapons. Both katanas are strikingly similar except Vesper's weapon form is red with more serrated edges compared to Lukan's sleek silver appearance. By the time they were twelve the two had accepted they were never going to be adopted and ran away to live on the streets of Chaski. At first they stole food to survive by either Vesper or Lukan shifting and the other wielding their brother, but eventually an older man saw their potential and decided to hire them for a job. This job eventually crept into their lifestyle and the two became 'thugs for hire' and very good ones at that. Eventually stealing turned to teaching those a lesson which turned to killing, but the boys have strict rules with who they kill as neither find it particularly pleasant. One day a job went extremely bad and they ran into a Mender named Naomi who helped the boys before they got any worse. Naomi became their first friend and the three became inseperable for almost four years until Naomi had had enough with the frequency of the killing jobs and left so that the boys wouldn't feel as encouraged to take dangerous jobs. Although neither admit it they were extremely upset when Naomi left back for her home city and still miss her. The two hardly take fatal jobs now if at all. Still this hasn't lessened their reputation as the go to guys if you need something sorted out.

Powers/Abilities: Vesper is a serrated Katana and thus has a much stronger grip when stabbed through flesh or brick. He is the better use for climbing up something or dealing more pain. Lukan is a very sleek katana and cuts through most materials easily and very cleanly. Lukan is better if the job is to be done quickly. Because of their weapon forms despite there alternate personalities that suggest Vesper being the more brash aggressive one and Lukan more cool-headed they had to adapt their fighting style for their brother's form and so Vesper has a very graceful fighting style compared to Lukan's forward and drastic actions. Lukan is much better at thinking up strategies while Vesper is quicker to respond to attacks. Lukan is slightly stronger than his brother while Vesper is faster.
Weaknesses: Neither trusts people except Naomi and so if they're apart they aren't exactly the best fighters and rely more on their 'human' brawn and brains. If alone with a person they don't know it may take more convincing to work together. Vesper gets anxious quickly if a plan doesn't work out and Lukan is susceptible to caving under pressure and panic attacks if he feels they have no other options.
Other: If together and the reward is good enough they're very valuable team players. Despite them being inseperable they don't have seperation anxiety as long as it hasn't been longer than roughly four days. They also are not strictly for Chaski but whoever pays them the most. They just happen to be most active in Chaski and are perfectly content with it.
