Brellunia was the second kingdom that flourished, roughly 50 years after the death of the Crystalline Goddess. The royal bloodline is on its third generation, the rulers working night and day to make Brellunia the biggest kingdom in the continent.
Brellunia's nickname, "Hammer of the East", was given due to Brellunia's high production of metalworking goods, such as several magical alloys, such as Mithral and Ironwood. Because of this, the country has the highest concentration of blacksmiths in the continent, and is the biggest exporter of raw and refined metal in Gerand. Brellunia also houses the Pickaxe, the headquarters of the Miners Organization.
Karavor, the Jewel of the North
Karavor is the northernmost kingdom of Gerand. It's a hostile environment, as if the land itself still yearned for it's former master. The ever present cold is only matched by the strong, cutting winds. Karavor was built upon the ruins of one of the main fortresses of Quartz, and there are still scavengers and explorers that try to venture into the sprawling underground ruins. Aboveground, the main craft here is jewelry. Gemstones ripped from the ruins come here to appraised, cut and shaped to form incredible pieces of jewelry. The kingdom is also strong in the artifact trade, artificers using the mysterious materials from the ruins to use in their crafts. Wizards often travel to the dungeon to research ancient power, but many a soul is lost upon the halls of the Crystalline Goddess, it's traps and automatons working as if their Lord is still alive.
Akken, The Light of Gerand
Akken is the counterpart of Karavor, residing in the southwest of the continent. The city is the first city that went against the machinations of Quartz, and thus, houses the Hall of Heroes, a museum dedicated to the valiant efforts of the Heroes. It's the oldest kingdom of the continent, and it acted as a haven against the rules of Quartz, with imposing walls and the efforts of mages and artificers. The surrounding areas of Akken are filled to the brim with farms, taking advantage of the fertile lands around the capital. It's also the capital with the highest diversity of races, Humankind, Elvenkind and Beastkind composing the council of King Johann.
