Julius Inigo Solberg

Stands at roughly 5'11", weighs nearly 177 lbs. His hair is a pale silver, his eyes a steely gray. The usual attire he wears is a deep purple coat with a frilly white shirt, a pair of black dress pants, and a pair of black dress shoes.

PERSONALITY:
Julius is a bit of an eccentric person. While he is a brilliant alchemist, he is rather loud and dramatic, doing or saying almost anything with a bit of flair to it. His emotions run hot, and they influence many of his actions. He is also rather scatterbrained, as well as a bit of a klutz. But he is dedicated to his job, his family, and his friends, and he would go to any lengths to see them safe and happy.

HISTORY/BIO:
Julius is the first born child to the previous Lord and Lady of the Solberg Estate, and even as a babe, he showed innate magical prowess. At random, things would move of their own volition around him; fires starting, taps opening, all manner of strange things. As soon as he was able to stand and understand language, his parents got to work trying to harness his ability. As he got older, Julius got better at controlling these mysterious happenings, though they did not stop completely. His mother introduced him to Alchemy at the age of eight, and young Julius found that he loved it; combining things together to make something of value fascinated him.

Even as his younger siblings were born, young Julius still held a very childlike nature. Very rarely would he act serious with his siblings, save for the moments when they needed the wisdom of their elder brother. With Mr. and Mrs. Solberg constantly working, coming home to the Estate very rarely, Julius took it upon himself to keep his siblings on the right track; which, more often than not, led to disaster.

But Julius did grow up and mature some. He developed a love for theater and the arts as well as his love for Alchemy, and when he was twenty two, he was brought on to Solberg Curatives as the company's Experimental Magician, which allowed him to do what he loved and have it benefit his family as well. For years, he was content with this life; until he received a very strange letter from his parents only a few days ago. The letter stated that they would be "going away for a while" and that Julius had been named Lord of the Estate. Poor Julius, having never wanted the mantle of Lord, became overcome with emotion and responsibility, and shut himself away in the lab. He has been there ever since.

*UNIQUE MAGIC:
While not so much a spell, Julius has the odd ability to animate inanimate objects around him. However, he cant really control this power, and it happens at random, though it spikes when he is in emotional distress.

MAGIC:
Basic Elemental and Household spells. Julius focused less on dangerous magic and more on its use with alchemy.

An old tome detailing how to perform Alchemy for beginners. Was a tome Julius grew very fond of, and so his magical atonement rubbed off on it.

FAVORITE PART OF THE ESTATE:
The Balconies.
A ways away from the upstairs Dining Hall is a large balcony where one can watch the sun set and view the moon and the stars very clearly. Whenever he wants a quiet moment, Julius slips out to them.

The Simple community, as they are called by the Magical community, see Julius as a wealthy shut in, and are curious to his mannerisms. Few have ever seen him outside the Estate.
The Magical community know him as an Alchemical prodigy; they say that Solberg Curatives would have went out of business long ago if it wasnt for Julius.

NAME: Victoria White

APPEARANCE: Victoria is a young Englishwoman who knows the importance of having good posture. There's rarely a time where her back isn't straight as a board. Along her neck is a scar, a strip of fleshy tissue that runs through the hollow of her throat. She wears a mantilla of the softest yellow to veil this keloid imperfection, looking out from the headdress with beautiful bright blue eyes that are almost lapis lazuli.

PERSONALITY: Victoria is a hopeless romantic who has a habit of falling for men she can't ever have. To make mundane tasks like shining the silverware and airing the laundry less mundane, she daydreams about getting married, having children and living in an estate as extraordinary as the Solberg family's.

HISTORY/BIO: Victoria was engaged to be married, but her fiancé died in the First Anglo-Afghan War. Following the death of her fiancé, she sought out employment as a housemaid. She worked in another estate before Solberg, deciding to leave because of poor working conditions. After six or so months of searching, doing fortune tellings and psychic readings to get by, she found her current employer, the Solberg family.

She worked in the parlour for much of the morning, dusting the mantelpiece and clearing soot from the hearth's coal fires. While she was cleaning one of the windowsills, Victoria looked out into the courtyard with its winding cobblestone walkways and boulevard-lining of late-blooming flowers. The sun burned the fog of the morning away as it rose and burnished the landscape in coats of yellow amber. There were several gardeners outside and one of them, who was trimming a hedgerow, heeded her with a nod, whereupon she smiled affably, then went to her work--

"Victoria!"

The maidservant heard her name a second time, this time louder with a tremulous tenor, and the voice came tumbling down from the ceiling, "Come here, Victoria!" When the lord of the house called a third time, Victoria, making herself presentable, came to his call. Hurrying through Jacobeathen halls with arched ceilings and marble columns and through the many and more rooms of this Victorian manor, she found herself at the mahogany staircase that led to her lord's chambers.

Victoria looked at him once, her eyes bright blue like lapis lazuli under the gaslight glow of nearby lamps, then said, "Yes, sir?"

PERSONALITY:
Though extremely opinionated she demonstrates ample ability to keep her head straight and think things through, even in situations that others might find frightening. She is excellent at giving sound instruction every now and then but predictably hates being told what to do. She enjoys conflict a little too much and as a result she's pretty much the last person you'd want around if your aim is to keep a situation from escalating. Despite the laundry list of flaws anyone might notice, the safety of her family is paramount above all else.

HISTORY/BIO:
From a young age, Cecilia demonstrated an exceedingly high amount of wanderlust. She had a desire to learn about the nature of magic as it existed throughout the world. As a result, she would often disappear for weeks at a time, having wandered into some misadventure or set off to right some wrong. She'd always return albeit not in the best condition. She noticed that on rare occasions, her older brother had an outlandish ability to determine just where she'd been. That simple fact caused her to respect Julius despite his childish tendencies. Though she'd never give him the satisfaction of knowing it. As she grew, she came to realize the importance of family and resolved to protect those closest to her rather than seeking amusement or justice elsewhere. Nowadays she spends her time securing her home and keeping it safe from would-be robbers or people that just won't mind their own business.

Cecilia has the power to create and manipulate stars.
MAGIC:

Cecilia specializes in the creation of shields and nullification, though she does use Dark powers offensively. They manifest as pulsing waves, spheres or as a poison that can distort the senses if she's feeling particularly irked, though the downside of that is, it affects friend and foe.

A glass eye she has to put in every morning.

FAVORITE PART OF THE ESTATE:
She enjoys hanging around the Estate's observatory. though she's more likely to stand atop the spire of it than to make use of the instruments inside.
*REPUTATION:
Whenever Cecilia left the estate she'd never give her actual name if any at all, but children are quite fond of her. The magical community know her as rash troublemaker with little respect for the order of things.

She hates being addressed by her middle-name and subscribes firmly to the notion that an unjust law is no law at all.

A visible breath escaped into the night air only to disappear the instant it had. It was a sign-- the only sign that its previous detainer was weakening under the weight of a precious load. She imagined he was asleep by now. Latching on to a strong back and being carried beneath an endless sea of glistening stars would do that; Cecilia knew all too well that it would. "That wasn't the best idea, you know." she criticized somewhat softly. "You might've gotten yourself killed." The child blinked drowsily and for what seemed like the very first time, he took a long gaze at the stars above. He didn't know who this woman was or why she'd bothered to help someone who was little more than a thief, but he was glad she had.
"It wasn't fair," the boy insisted in a pitiful cross between a whisper and a whine. " That man owned hundreds of fruit trees, but he tried to roast me alive for taking a few pieces."
"He got a taste of his own medicine," Cecilia reminisced. She laughed a little and looked towards the sky. Very soon he would be home where he belonged.

PERSONALITY:
Alannah's personality is much like the weather: fickle. Her opinions never stand in one place for too long and something that excited her can infuriate her the next day. However, there are some predictable aspects of her. For instance, she has a strong moral compass and is very big on respect and loyalty. She will listen to those who are older than her, even if she despises what's being told, and will stick by her family and friends. Her downfall is the fact she is very sympathetic and will go out her way to make someone else happy, which makes her easily manipulated. To children, she is very soft, caring, and might end up acting like their mother.

HISTORY/BIO:
Growing up, her siblings weren't the best role models. Her older sister would go missing on adventures while her eldest brother still acted like a toddler that didn't receive any attention. She felt obligated to step up and take the responsibilities her family lacked. Her gravitation towards magic did not take place until she was seven, when she stormed to her room and blew up over her frustration with her family's viewpoint on responsibility. When it came, a purple thunderstorm struck, and almost knocked Alannah out from how much energy it took up. After that, she learned that even with a talisman, her magic would be a hefty thing to control.

She did her best to try and build up the endurance for it and went to garden almost every day to water the plants with miniature clouds. Her growing frustration with her family and sense to take up her siblings responsibilities seemed to diminish a bit after that incident.

Now, she frequently roams around the town in her free time, playing with the little kids on the streets and watering the other plants.

*UNIQUE MAGIC:
Atmokinesis - the ability to control and manipulate all aspects of the weather at will
Anything she creates becomes a bright purple. ie: Purple rain, Purple Rain, Purple Clouds

FAVORITE PART OF THE ESTATE:
Alannah's favorite part of the estate is the garden. She is very fond of plants and watching them grow. She finds a sense of tranquility here and it is most likely here if you are trying to find her.

*REPUTATION:
She is known as being very peaceful to the people who have seen her. Not because anyone talked to her much, but simply because she would wander around some days, just watering the plants or talking to the children left on the streets. To those who she might have spoken to for a while, excluding the young kids, she might come off as a bit stoic, as she becomes very defensive over her family, believing they deserve defending even if no one said anything rude about them.

She loved it here. Beauty seeped from each corner, as if spring was to last forever. The scent of jasmine danced around Alannah and was so strong it hit the back of her throat. It was not the pungent type of strong, however, it was the comforting type of strong. The mother's hug type of strong. Every blade of grass seemed to stand sharper with her presence and every flower shone like a star in a constellation. And it was all her doing. She created this.

Alannah cupped her hands together and closed her eyes. She found it a lot easier to think when she didn't need to worry about her vision. With a small tingling feeling, a baby cloud grew in her hand, before lifting itself up and flying above a newly bud flower. The girl opened her eyes, joy tugging up the edges of her mouth, and hurried to the flowers side, waiting to watch the cloud rain on it.

"Alannah!" A maid called out, hurrying into the garden, "Alannah, dear, dinner is starting soon!"

"I'm coming," The Soleberg sibling replied, the words a sour feeling in her own throat. The cloud she had created disappeared as she stood up and headed towards the house. She glanced behind her, making a silent promise to water the little flower.

This was her place. It didn't matter if she wasn't going to get the inherit the garden or not. It was hers.​

PERSONALITY: Klarion is very sly. He loves to mess with people's emotions and get into peoples heads. He is very sarcastic and rude, constantly butting heads with authority figures. He is very manipulative and has little regard for peoples wellbeing or feelings. He also has a short temper. However, he respects his siblings and does have some sort of restraint when it comes to them.

HISTORY/BIO:
Growing up Klarion was always the problem child (Along with his sister of course.) He would steal toys and blame others. He would be there one minute and gone the next. He constantly got into arguements with his older brother and mess up the house with his sister. However, as he grew up, things started to escalate. He began to start fights in the town and steal. The thing is, he never got caught. Things always went his way. With his siblings growing up with flashy abilities, it took years to notice he even had powers at all.

UNIQUE MAGIC:
The power of luck.

MAGIC:
He can manipulate fate in his or anyone elses favour. For example: A sword spontaneously appearing in fight on the ground, a cushion somehow on the floor to break a fall.
He also specialises in friction based magic. When he clicks his fingers he can create anything from a small flame to a large explosion.
He can also manipulate the mind to some extent but this requires extreme consentration.

The gymnasium. He loves to climb the ropes and hang upside down on the aerial hoop.

REPUTATION:
The snake. The one who will lie and cheat to get their own way.

He loves to lightheartedly annoy his siblings. He sits on the roof when he wants to be alone. He also has a weakness for candy and frequently smokes.

Klarion lounged on the sofa, not listening to anything the maid was saying. He bounced a ball against the wall repeatedly and caught it in his hand each time. After he caught it the 15th time, he looked up at the maid. He ran a hand through his crimson hair and his ruby eyes slashed into her, "Do me a favour and take a day off, sweetie." He flashed her a grin and winked. The maid ran off, cheeks flushed. When she was gone, Klarion growled in annoyance. "God I thought she'd never stop." He threw the ball out the window and it hit a passer by. He snorted and got up. He lit a cigarette and walked further into the manor, smoke trailing behind him like a snake.

PERSONALITY:
Isaac's self-image is of a person who has found the right balance between business and pleasure. In reality he's prone to excess in both. He is driven to squeeze every bit of profit out of the family business he can and seeks to increase his own wealth to continue his indulgences. Anyone pointing out this out will serve only to anger him. Isaac looks down on anyone who he views as less intelligent or capable than him, viewing anything less than his level as not good enough. He expresses this either in a patronizing way or outright rudely depending on his mood. Still, Isaac prefers to have at least one other person around him.

BIOGRAPHY:
Isaac was born January 4th,1814. He learned to read more quickly than most children as his magic manifested and ended up showing great talent for finances and management. Those tasked with raising him found it incredibly frustrating due to his disobedience and ability to avoid punishment. He remained apart from his other siblings, viewing them as useful at best and a distraction at worst. As he grew up he got more and more involved with the family business until he was practically the only one in charge of finances and management. Right now Isaac remains largely outside the public eye but powerful behind the business front.

UNIQUE MAGIC:
Isaac's magic never creates excess disorder. He's able to tailor his spells so they affect only what he wants them to. While reducing risks this also means he doesn't get anything lucky he wasn't expecting from them either. His magic has the side effect of the sound of turning gears.

MAGIC:
Analytical Magic: Isaac can read, scan, and otherwise use his vision to gain information faster than any normal human.
Organizational Magic: Isaac is able to rearrange, sort, and otherwise order anything within the area of his magic.
Push Magic: Isaac is able to create 'pushes' of force. Spread thin they're enough to blow away light leaves. Focused they pack nearly the force of a pistol.
Storage Magic: Isaac is able to make his pockets and other containers bigger on the inside.

TALISMAN:
An ornate necklace he always wears and usually keeps hidden under a scarf.

FAVORITE PART OF THE ESTATE:
When Isaac leaves the accounting room he can most often be found near the kitchens enjoying a snack, in the ballroom at a party, in the library reading, or discussing business or pleasure in the lounge.

REPUTATION:
Both the normal and magical communities have the same view of Isaac, with the only difference being that the normal one doesn't know much about how he uses his magic. Isaac isn't well known outside those who either deal with him in business or meet him at parties. The former know him as someone ruthless in seeking profits but fair to those who hold up their end of deals. The latter either find him amusing or irritating in how he behaves. He's generally lesser know than his other siblings.

TRIVIA:
  • Isaac is extremely fond of chocolates, especially ones with fillings. He usually has at least one box of chocolate on his person at any given time.
  • Isaac is theatre fanatic, often going to great lengths to secure the best seats for performances.
  • Isaac has his clothing custom-tailored to be both comfortable and fashionable.
  • Isaac collects interesting items.

Isaac pushed the man aside and surveyed the scattered papers.
"No, no, it would take too long that way. I'll do it."
Focusing, Isaac called upon his magic and began moving his hands. The sound of gears turning could be heard as the papers on the floor swirled into the air and began rearranging themselves back into the proper order in front of Isaac. As the last paper fell into place Isaac caught the stack in his hands and presented them to the man.
"There. Also page 26 has an error. It's 'they're,' not 'their.'"
Isaac turned and pulled a box of chocolates from his pocket, popping one in his mouth as he walked off.

PERSONALITY:
Joker's personality is quirky and unpredictable. He could act like a friendly and amiable individual one moment. Then he could be crude and sarcastic the next. There are times when he seems to enter a frenzied state of mania. Despite his eccentricities, Joker is utterly devoted to helping the innocent with both his power and his position. Respecting the wishes of his late mentor, Joker is fully dedicated to his job of policing London. If he finds someone abusing their power or committing a felony, he will not hesitate to reprimand or bring them in for their crimes. In a fight, Joker is both wily and calculative. If the coin can't take you down, then he will. Joker also doesn't mind people mentioning his lack of depth perception, even laughing along with them.

HISTORY/BIO:
Joker Ross has no idea where he came from or who his parents are. His earliest memory was being beaten up for food by another child in the slums. Every day in the gutter was a struggle for survival. If you had something, anything that was useful. Someone was bound to steal it, or kill you and steal it. It was thanks to this daily cycle of either beating someone or being beaten on that Joker discovered his latent magical abilities. Soon he was winning his fights, his former bullies now lay in bloody heaps at his feet. The food he stole wasn't even that bad. He began to gather together his own crew and they would work to steal from other groups. It went on like this until Joker was fifteen. Calling his crew together, they planned to rob a church that had religious symbols made from real silver. While the heist went well for a time, the priest came by and found the youths pilfering his stuff. Not wanting to get caught, one of the younger guys murdered the priest and escaped. A nun found the murdered priest and screamed for help. All hell broke loose as the young thugs tried to escape. In the confusion, Joker's second in command knocked him out to take the fall. Found, chained and brought before the people. Joker was to be sentenced to hanging. It was then that a well respected member of the community, Hector Britsidhe came to his aid. Freeing the boy and placing him under his protection, Hector gave Joker a fresh start. Joker was ungrateful and spiteful of Hector's efforts in regards to giving him shelter. Although with nowhere else to go, he stayed. Eventually they came to understand each other, with Hector even giving Joker his nickname after finding the boy playing with a deck full of Jokers. After a few years Hector, noticing the raising crime rate in the city, put together a group to police the criminal element. After they managed to lock a few nasty troublemakers behind bars, the group became well respected throughout London. Dubbed "The Watch", they began to snuff out lawbreaking and illegal activity. Hector instilled in Joker a sense of justice that would help the boy understand the good they did for everyone living in the city. During Jokers first night patrolling solo, he found his old gang robbing a liquor store. The owner was dead and his wife had been brutalized. Attacking, Joker was soon overwhelmed by the group, even losing his eye in the process. At the mercy of his old right hand man, Joker almost died. Hector rushed in and took the blow for his protege. The thugs escaped and Hector died in Joker's arms, giving him a golden coin as a present to commemorate his first solo patrol. Reminding Joker of what really mattered, Joker cried over the only father he had ever known. Leaving the Watch temporarily, Joker hunted down and killed each of his former gang members. With the coin as his Talisman, the odds were always in his favor. With his former right hand, Joker strung him up to be seen throughout the city. Returning to active duty, Joker began working alone. He was simply better on his own anyway. Though he never forgot his mentor and strove to keep the city safe. Recently, a woman came to Joker and asked him to investigate the mysterious Solberg Family. Taking up his coin and the weight of his duty, Joker set out on a lonesome journey.

Luck Magic: Channeled through his coin, Joker can change the outcome of a conflict with a coin toss. If his coin lands on heads, then something advantageous happens to him. Though if it lands on tails, then the coin makes something DISadvantageous happen to his opposition.

The public considers him a trustworthy if not eccentric figure. His work as a member of the Watch have earned him a decent reputation with authority figures praising his dedication to his job. The magical community considers him both a cheat and an annoyance. Not only does he prod and pry. Joker always attempts to ensure they don't abuse their powers. Many people in the community consider his unique magic "Unorthodox and Insulting". Prominent figures even point out how unrefined and unpredictable his Luck Magic is.

Joker rounded a corner in pursuit of the notorious Fleet Foot Fran. Apparently, she had been using her speed enhancing magic to pickpocket various members of the upper class. While normally Joker was okay with rich snobs getting a bit of trouble, this was a crime. "Sorry Watchman... I think you'll find you can't catch me!!!" said Fran as she stopped to taunt Joker. Sliding under the open legs of a fruit vendor, Joker flipped his trusty coin. Quickly getting up and making a grab for Fran, Joker found she sped away. However, he predicted this and flipped around to catch the coin. Checking it, he smiled deviously. A couple of young children playing with marbles accidentally dropped some on the ground. Fleet Foot Fran ran straight into them and slipped over. Faceplanting on the ground, Fran was out cold. The wide-eyed children looked up at Joker and asked "What happened sir?". Joker showed them his coin and simply said "It came up Tails".

Genevieve - despite her age - is rather mature, and a more serious type. She isn't too interested in playing with other children but enjoys the company of adults. Her whole presence is calm, and unlike most children, she rarely throws a tantrum. In a way, she resembles a doll and seems like she lacks emotions although she surely has them - she just prefers to keep them to herself, as she thinks they are too much for other people to handle. Genevieve is more than happy to engage in a conversation with teenagers or adults, and learn from them as she is always searching for more knowledge. To other children, however, she can come off as arrogant and boring since she feels that if they can't teach her anything or have a mature conversation, they are stupid. Because of this, especially her older siblings are important to her and she often can ask them questions about all kinds of things - as she is, as most children, curious. Family is very important to her, and she is always ready to help in dire situations. But if her siblings were to embarrass themselves or have some small trouble which wouldn't harm them too much, she would just watch from the sideline.

HISTORY/BIO:
When she was younger, Genevieve would spend most of her time either at the stables with someone or by herself in the room playing with toys. She was so young that often she wouldn't be able to keep up with her siblings, but she didn't mind too much as her imagination was quite lively and she was able to entertain herself.

At some point, she started to be able to hear voices without knowing where they came from as she accidentally entered someones mind. Not too long after, she realized she could go into someones head and read their thoughts - sometimes it wasnt as successful as she learned quickly that some people could feel that someone was listening (as their thoughts suggested) and that her range wasn't too great. She couldn't for example hear someones thoughts when they were on the other side of the estate. Eventually her range grew enough that it could reach to the other side of a big room, but that was about it. She would cause some drama and trouble within the estate sometimes, and many workers came and went because of it. And it forced her to grow up faster than usual, because she both heard a lot of serious thoughts and had to learn how to keep other peoples secrets.

Currently she spends her time pondering about life or trying to learn more magic, while simultaneously trying to get engaged with her siblings some more now that she can keep up with them better than before.

*UNIQUE MAGIC:
Telepathy. She can hear others thoughts, however due to her being so young and not too advanced in magic, it has some limitations:
- Some targets, who have strong intuition, knowledge of magic or who are able to sense magic, can sense her trying to pry into their mind and thus shut her out or make her retreat if they become suspicious.
- She can't hear thoughts through walls inside, but she can hear thoughts within a room regardless of the size. Outside however, it has a range of a big room.

MAGIC:
She is able to enhance or weaken others powers to an extent, and she is capable of sensing magic in humans or objects, although she can't recognize the exact magic.

FAVORITE PART OF THE ESTATE:
She doesn't have one definite favorite room, but the ones she commonly is in include: The stables, parlor, her bedroom and the many hallways of the mansion.

*REPUTATION:
As Genevieve is so mature for her age, she is thought of as a weird one. Both the magical and simple communities however agree that she is a very, very creepy child because of her calm and mature demeanor - which is especially enhanced whenever she is in public. The magical community is perhaps more cautious of her, as they know she must have some power, but very few might have a hunch of what it is.

*SAMPLE RP:
Genevieve walked down the stairs, her hand sliding after her as it was gently resting on the railing. Once she reached the bottom, she continued her way to the parlor where a butler greeted her.
- Miss Genevieve. He nodded his head, and she responded with a little nod before sitting next to the table which was located near the window where she could look out. The Butler walked up to her, a smile on his lips.
- I would like a cup of chamomile tea. She looked at the butler as he nodded and headed out to get the young girl the tea. While waiting, Genevieve walked to the small pile of books that were left there and started to browse through them. Her reading skills were good enough for her to be able to read most books, although some very advanced words could go straight over her head. The book that caught her attention was one about the history of the estate, perhaps meant for the guests to read if they wanted to. She muttered something about knowing everything about it already, but as she just planned to read it while drinking tea, it was fine.

As she was scrolling through the book, she heard footsteps approaching, and she lifted her gaze from the book to see who it was. She straightened her back as she saw the butler returning with a cup filled with tea and he placed it next to the book.
- Careful, it is hot. The butler smiled a little and took a step back as she lifted the cup to her lips and took a sip, closing her eyes as if it was going to make the tea taste much better. After a little moment, she opened her eyes and nodded at the butler.
- It tastes great, you can go. She muttered, turning her gaze to the book as the butler headed out of the room, leaving her to enjoy the tea and the book.

Jasmine is a beautiful young lady, standing at 5'4 and weighing just about 125 lbs. Her skin is almost as fair as snow with rosy pink hair that flows along her back and stops about mid-way. Her eyes seems to be a bit deeper in color, almost like a strawberry color. She has an innocent, doll-like complexion and sometimes even seeming to appear detached from herself.

Jasmine is a generally happy, go-lucky type of person who doesn't tend to take things to heart. Soft-spoken and an overall gentle soul who enjoys the company of others but prefers her own alone time as well. She seems to easily forgive others to may do her wrong, being very empathetic to other's situations and therefore can give advice or comfort when needed. Since she was a young girl, she was taught the proper mannerisms of an ideal "princess" right down to the very last detail in order to know to serve a highly-esteemed family. Due to this upbringing, she tends to hold herself with confidence and grace despite considering herself only as a mere servant. Very rarely will she ever seem genuinely angry or even upset, somehow maintaining her calm and composed nature. Jasmine is an extremely loyal person, holding her loyalty to the family above all else. She adores the Solbergs and holds each family members close to her heart, willing to risk her safety for them if the occasion were to come about.

HISTORY/BIO:
With no surprise, the Asta family has served the Solbergs for several generations and seems that they will continue to for the future years to come as well. Jasmine was practically raised on the estate since birth. She was an only child so she grew up alongside the Solberg siblings and often spent a lot of time playing with them when she was younger. However, once she turned 6 (the age of which her official training had started), she was no longer allowed to play with the siblings but instead serve them. Along with training, there seemed to be several rules that came with and restricted what she could and could not do. She could not longer address the siblings by first name but had to include a prefix in front such as Ms or Mr, sometimes even sir or ma'am. She could also no longer eat with them but had to wait until they finished so she could have her meal at her own quarters. Having tutoring session and learning groups would now be separate, the Solbergs would be taught by their own private tutor while Jasmine received education primarily focused on housework. The list goes on. Eventually, Jasmine understood her place as lesser than them and not as equals. Of course there was never any abuse towards her or any of the other servants so she never held any resentment towards them, it was just never her place to be anything more than that.

Jasmine's training was strict as she was growing up, grooming her into a very proper young lady as of result. She was naturally gifted at what she did which was cooking and soon became the leading chef of the kitchen at age 14. While her formal training never started until 8, she was in the kitchen quite often since her mother was the Head House Cook before. Her mother was relentless at her job, back in the kitchen 1 week after giving birth to Jasmine. There was no such thing as daycare or babysitters so instead, her mom strapped an infant Jasmine on her back or chest and continued her job as if nothing happened.

While many people say that they poured their heart into something, Jasmine can quite literally pour emotions onto a meal. A very expected answer, the kitchen, specifically the bakry part of it. Since the mansion is so vast, the kitchen also needs several sections and departments for what is needed to feed the households, especially during events. The smell of baked pies or pastries has always been a wonderful smell to her, it reminded her of childhood.

*REPUTATION:
Jasmine is often seen in the town nearby buying ingredients for the meals ahead, thought to be as a very polite young lady who knows her produce very well. It is not a secret that she is quite beautiful in the way she looks but also in the way she carries herself, having a few secret admires within the town as well and rejecting all the men who try they way with her already.
Within the mansion, she is thought to be an extraordinary chef who's loyalty to the family is unwavering.

TRIVIA/OTHER:
-People within the mansion often call her up in the late night to make them a midnight snack that will hopefully help them fall asleep, so she is awake constantly. No one has ever really witnessed her sleep, let alone take a break and rest.
-She despises being called "Jaz" for some odd reason.
-Her favorite times are dawn and dusk, its quiet during those times and she enjoys the serenity.
-Corgis are her favorite breed of dogs and just her most adored things in the world.

While the sun was just about rising, Jasmine had already been awake hours before and was dressed to go into town that morning. Rarely did she ever sleep but rarely did she ever feel tired either, it was always a very limbo feeling she was in, especially in the mornings. Before leaving the estate, she made sure to water and say goodmorning to Bert, her son, the succulent plant. He seemed a bit down today and that left her wondering as she left her quarters. Hmm, I wonder if he is feeling alright. He seems quite lonely since I'm not always around to keep him company. Pondering over the question as she made a list of ingredients and produce for the meals of that day. Today was meant to be a normal day as any other, no large events or anything that seemed out of the ordinary. However, in this household, everything was often unexpected and things are not always peaceful. Once she got all her ducks in a row, she threw her hood on and made her way down to the town, still thinking about her son's worrisome behavior.

Jasmine's night had dragged out a bit longer than expected, a new trainee had accidentally detonated a flour bomb in the kitchen and it had taken several hours of cleaning to get every grain of flour off the ceiling and walls. Rule #1, never let the new people play with the flour bomb, ever. Her hair still had reminiscents of white dust and her clothes weren't in much better condition, but she was happy to be back in her room. "Bert, I'm home! Sorry for the late return. Flour bomb." Announcing to the potted plant on the window sill, "But I got you something." With a pause, she grabbed something from her bag, and as she pulled the object out, it turned out to be another succulent in a pot labeled, "Shelly". Walking over to the window sill, she placed Shelly next to Bert, "I got you a little friend, her name is Shelly," speaking with a little grin as she scooting them a bit closer together. "Now you have someone to keep you company while I'm away."

The next morning, Jasmine looked over at the two plants, taking notice that Bert actually seemed to be in better spirits. He was much greener and richer in color and Shelly was a deeper shade of purple, a small bud had actually began growing on her. Her son was happy and she was happy. "Good morning Bert, Good morning Shelly."​

PERSONALITY:
If one were to have the pleasure of meeting Damien, the first thing they would notice would be a perpetually bemused smile that never quite reaches his eyes. It's like he's always on the edge of telling a mildly funny joke, but he keeps it to himself. When he makes eye contact, it's like he's staring at something in the distance he can't exactly make out, squinting and tilting his head occasionally. He may be talking to you, but it feels he's standing a distance away. You need not feel uncomfortable though because he rarely stops to make conversation. He's usually busying himself through the management of the estate's large garden and farm. His determination to fulfill his duties as the head gardener is astounding. Whether it be sun, snow, rain or hail, he'll try his utmost best to keep the estate grounds pristine. Although his best still seems effortless from outsiders' views, even in a dire situation he never lets the stress show on his face. All in all, one could suppose he's a tranquil person.

HISTORY/BIO:
During this period of time, it wasn't uncommon for entire villages and cities to be abandoned or wiped out due to famine. A dry spell or crippling, bitter cold can't be fought against for the ordinary man and can prove fatal if lady fortune proves to be negligent. Damien is a child of one of those villages. But unlike the other members of the community, he didn't feel hunger, pain, thirst or anything for that matter. He couldn't completely understand why, but he chose to take his wins where he could get them. His parents had already fled from the cursed town under the guise of finding food for him. He wouldn't need to see their suffering, and they didn't need to worry about caring for him. It was a win-win situation in the child's mind. And when the final person in the village made themselves sparse, Damien decided it was time to be a nomad.

He saw a variety of sights. They were both wonderful and tragic, but he kept on moving. Eventually, he found himself staring out at the vast ocean, swinging his feet off a cliff. He was too poor to venture further, and he felt like he had already seen everything he needed. For the first time, he felt a strong yearning in his heart and stomach. Although, the feeling in his stomach may just be him being hungry. It was the first time in years that he had felt such a sensation, and he made a rush towards the first place that caught his attention. In the end, he found his eyes caught on a colorful garden in a large estate and collapsed. When he woke up, he found a peculiar man that saved his life. It was there that he swore fealty to the man and promised to repay the life debt. Perhaps his rash actions and fealty was a result of a sudden flood of feeling, but he wasn't one to go back on his word.

*UNIQUE MAGIC:
His magic dullens the senses and allows him to go an undetermined amount of time without food, water or rest. Although, he can't control this power at all and has a tendency to randomly collapse from fatigue.

MAGIC:
Other than his unique magic, he's practically inept at any other type of magic.

TALISMAN:
He has a navy bolo tie that he cherishes dearly.

FAVORITE PART OF THE ESTATE:
Surprisingly, his favorite part of the estate is the garden. He doesn't particularly know why, but it pulls at something inside of him.

*REPUTATION:
He doesn't have a particularly infamous or celebrated reputation. Many people can say they faintly recall him from somewhere, but they have no strong attachment or thought about him.

TRIVIA/OTHER:
-Typically after he collapses, he requires large amounts of food afterward.
-He hates ladybugs, but they are necessary to keep the parasites away.
-His favorite pun is turn-ip up. He hasn't had the chance to use it yet.
-He has a high disdain for being dirty.

*SAMPLE RP:
Before the rising sun cracked the horizon, Damien in his pristine uniform could be found working the fields. In a crouched position, he strained his muscles to pull the unwieldy weeds from his domain. Their deep and tenacious roots were the bane of his existence, but he couldn't stop himself from respecting them for their will to live. The prickly yet bending grass tickled his soft, worn hands as he grasped it from the stem and yanked the roots from the ground. He was working up a sweat, but the cool dawn chill helped keep the stains away. Passively, he allowed muscle memory to take control of his body as he allowed his mind to wander. Vividly he would remember all the sights he witnessed in his past. Horrible or wonderful, his smile was kept plastered on his face. Time would pass, and the sun would shatter the horizon as it did every day. And just like every day, Damien would finish weeding the grounds at around that time. Now, he just had to water the technicolor garden and bountiful farm. It wouldn't be too hard as the other gardeners began to stir from their sleep.​

Bianca is a well-mannered and proper person. She tends to be more of an introvert, observing the conversation rather than partaking in it. She is careful when it comes to choosing companions and would usually end the "friendship" when she saw there was no longer a use for them. Bianca is dedicated to her family's shipping business and works to make it live up to its name. Bianca despises dishonest people. Whether it would be business partners or members in her family. She would rather deal with the bitter truth than a sweet lie. Bianca likes to have herself be represented as a strict individual with strict policies who never let emotions get in the way of business. Because of this, she usually is able to suppress her emotions (whether it would be anger or excitement) when present around others. If she is alone, Bianca's tantrums usually end up in her throwing whatever object she had near her towards the walls of her room. Bianca adores her family's name and works to keep it in high status.

HISTORY/BIO:
At a young age, Bianca was introduced into the Magical Community through her parent's company, Lunar Exports. She learned magic under a tutor from the Magical Community and under her mother's influence, she was able to grow into the respectable young woman she is today. From her father, she learned the inner workings of their business and she became obsessed with inheriting the business. Bianca chose to not marry herself off to a rich noble and began getting more and more involved with the business. Working out documents, participating in meetings and negotiating with clients. Her father didn't mind her busy work, it helped him focus on making more exports. Bianca's mother, however, was against the idea of having her inherit the business. She wanted Bianca to get married and have children to have heirs to their bloodline.

Bianca had learned of her families' rivalry with the Solberg family when she had seen some of the Solberg siblings in town. Her father warned her to stay away from them and that they were nothing but trouble for their business. She hadn't bothered to ask why there was such hatred between them and decided it was best to just listen to him. He taught her everything she knew about business so far, he couldn't be wrong about the Solberg family.

Bianca is currently still engrossed in becoming the sole beneficiary to the business. While her mother had begun inviting more suitors to reside in their estate for a week or so in an attempt to change Bianca's choice in the matter. Though, whenever Bianca has her mindset, she intends to keep her decisions final.

UNIQUE MAGIC:
Bianca is able to create a tranquil space for herself. She calls it the "Void." When she is overstressed and doesn't want anyone to disturb her, Bianca would create a field around her. No one could enter and no one could leave, not until she decides to disperse the field. For her time seems to slow, but for those outside the bubble, time goes by normally.

MAGIC:
Defensive Spells: Bianca is able to cast simple shield or ward type spells
Illusion Spells: Bianca is adept at casting spells that would confuse others. Such as invisibility or creating a distant sound to lure others away
Ranged Spells: Bianca still isn't very advanced when it comes to ranged spells. She could only do simple spells, such as shooting out orbs of magic. She's still attempting to teach herself

Since the Solberg and Lunatonne families are rivals, Bianca had never stepped foot into their estate. She had heard rumors of their excessive collection in literature and she envies their library, even though she had never seen it.

REPUTATION:
The Lunatonne are well known for their shipping company, Lunar Exports, which has had its share of rumors and skepticism from the public eye. Bianca herself is not seen roaming around town and is preferably kept away from the public. The only exceptions being for business meetings and small appearances with her father. She despises going outside and being scrutinized by the common townsfolk. The Magical Community, however, know of her through the company. They are well known for their potion brews and Bianca is known for attempting to persuade the Magical Community into buying her father's exports.

TRIVIA/OTHER:
  • Bianca has a strange infatuation with wine. She is able to describe the taste of each wine she has had by memory and is very critical when it comes to choosing what tastes she enjoys the most.
  • Bianca has read almost every book she has in her archives and is always looking for new ones.
  • She resents overly sweet foods/drinks.
  • She has a cat that stops by her room every now and then. She has no idea where it came from, all she knows is that it enjoys climbing through her bedroom window and watch her work.

The syrupy aftertaste of strawberry and cherries with a hint of clove resided on Bianca's tongue. She pulled the wine glass away from her lips, taking a moment to swirl the glass in small circles, her eyes focused on its blood-red contents. There was something peculiar about the wine served with tonight's dinner. The overly sweet taste of the alcohol left a disgusting flavor on her palette. Her face scrunched up as she set the glass onto the table with a soft 'thud'. She summoned a butler standing in the farthest corner of the room with a wave of her hand. The man instantly was at her side, inquiring if there was a problem with her meal.

"Actually there is," She lifted glass once more, handing it over to the man as his face contorted in confusion. "This is not my usual wine, correct?" The butler simply nodded, his once calm demeanor turning into a more anxious one.

"So why did you not inform me of this change before I sat down to eat?"

The man opened and closed his mouth several times, his actions reminding the young woman of a goldfish. She let out a heavy exhale and held her hand up. The man quickly shut his mouth, awaiting her next request. "I do not want this incident repeated again. Am I clear?"

"Yes, mistress."
"Good. Now go get me a fresh glass of wine. One that won't require me to gag every time I taste it."

APPEARANCE:
Wayne has dark black hair that clashes yet matches with his vibrant blue eyes. His nose is small and triangular, coming to a dull point. His chin is relatively small and his eyelashes are about average in length. He is a bit small for his age, 4'9 in height and weighing in at 80 pounds. He is super skinny, with almost no muscle or fat in his bones, but he is extremely while and quick on his feet.

PERSONALITY:
He is a natural born trouble maker, and typically only listens to the people he has high respect for. He has always been daring and confident, to the point where he is cocky at times. He enjoys talking with others when the conversation is calm, yet when the conversation is heated typically stays out unless he finds one side completely correct in the situation. He likes to learn about new things, but it seems that he only likes it on his own terms. Once you earn his respect, he will do just about anything for you, which for some it comes easy and others it comes difficult.

HISTORY/BIO:
Wayne has always been a natural born trouble maker, and as soon as he got a slight handle on his powers, immediately got into trouble with them. H e often stole to feed his friend who's family was unable to make the keep to feed themselves, let alone their own son. He was caught doing this several times he was eventually caught, but that didn't stop him, he continued, considering himself a mini Robin Hood stealing from the rich to feed the poor. But no matter how many times he tried to explain his reasoning for his theft he was tol d that there was no excuse for stealing. After his third offense he was sent to the Solberg estate as a mandatory apprenticeship under Cecilia since the Solberg's were a trusted family in the magical community. While his mother and father hated the idea of sending him away, the family had no choice in the matter. Even after all of this, he still doesn't regret his actions whatsoever, considering himself right for what he did. Occasionally however, he does do things th at even he knows are wrong, whether it is something petty just to get into some mischief, or something like a prank that could actually end up killing someone. He typically looks back on these kind of actions with regret. (He has not been to the estate yet, but will be arriving in my first post)


MAGIC:
Wayne can summon any object in the world not protected by magical properties, however while summoning one object at a time does not put strain on hi m, when he summons multiple items at once, or a considerably large one it puts a lot of strain on him, and he can only maintain for so long. (His current limit is 3 items but that will improve throughout rp)

He wears a bracelet with a single ruby encrusted charm that allows him to use his powers, the charm isn't very large and is quite light weight and is not a hassle to carry around with him.

FAVORITE PART OF THE ESTATE:
While he has not been there before, I imagine his favorite room would be his bedroom (as long as he has a book or 2 to keep him company, or the garden (a place where he can train, and the outdoors all at once)

TRIVIA/OTHER:
Well to start his favorite pastime other than finding something to do that is bound to get him into trouble is reading. Despite his outgoing attitude, he enjoys the solitude of a good book. He enjoys nice meals, and any baked desert. He was raised poor, but was taught decent manners, so a confusing thing to him will be the servants in the manor.


*SAMPLE RP:
The boy jumped back suddenly at his opponents attack, raising his eyebrows a bit at his opponents speed, deciding that a defensive stance was the best way to face his opponent. As he stepped back, his feet fell into the positioning in which they were taught to take in a situation such as this one, and he tightened his grip on his sword, preparing for another attack. His attacker charges in, nearly a blur, and it was all he could do to stop his opponents sword from striking his left hip, steel meeting steel with a metallic ting. His attacker continued with a combination that sent his opponents sword flying towards his shoulder, again steel meeting steel as Wayne sidestepped and blocked. His opponent then attacked towards his left leg, and Wayne had to jump to avoid the cold steel of the blade from cutting clean through his leg. It was then that his opponent swung his sword at his head, and Leinad had to drop to the ground and roll to dodge the horizontal slice that was soon followed by a downwards slice. He glanced up at his opponent, but the opponent had stepped towards him yet again as he had been rolling to make sure the slice hit it's target. Wayne braved for the impact that would soon kill him, but the blade never touched him, instead it fell at his opponents side as his mentor offered him a hand and a bottle of water. Wayne gladly accepted both, receiving a well done from his mentor along with advice as to what he should do next time.

PERSONALITY:
An old man made wise with age. Abu Bakr Afridi is a cynic first, everything else later. The only people he has ever given a hint of compassion to are either part of the Solberg family or dead. Even though he considers tough love to be his go to method, the man is known to show empathy towards people at their lowest. He is very protective of the Solberg family, though he has an odd way of showing it. Every mistake he has ever made in his long life manifests itself in the perpetual frown on his face. He likes children though, becoming uncharacteristically amicable in their presence.

HISTORY/BIO:
Abu Bakr Afridi first stepped foot in England when he was a teenager, running away from his family that he never loved. Standing out of any crowd, he could never find employment and eventually found himself homeless and penniless. With no option left in mind, Alfred became a thief scurrying the streets of London, quickly gaining a reputation. One day, Alfred decided to raid the Solberg estate. However, he never anticipated how well-secured it was. After half a day of being chased by a family full of magic users, Alfred found himself under the mercy of the law. After spending three of the worst days in his life awaiting trial, he was acquitted of all charges. To his ever expanding surprise, it was by the lord of the Solberg estate himself. The man found Alfred's custom form of magic interesting. He was taken in as a Butler in training, serving the Solberg family to whom he owed his life. After several years of service, Alfred eventually retired. He had nowhere else to go, so the family prolonged his stay indefinitely. Alfred now spends his days wandering the halls of the Solberg estate, wondering if he will one day become a ghost that haunts the walls he treads.

MAGIC:
During his time as a street rat, Alfred pioneered a form of magic that helped him in his several escapades. Shadow Magic as the the Lord of the estate called it allows Alfred to manipulate shadows. He can merge into another object's shadow and even give it solid form. Alfred can merge into his own shadow and transform into small black creatures or objects for superior stealth.

TALISMAN:
Prayer beads he keeps that are the only reminder of the people he ran away from.

FAVORITE PART OF THE ESTATE:
The long winding hallways

TRIVIA/OTHER:
1- Alfred is ambidextrous (A skill he learned in his youth).
2- Under his mattress, he keeps an old journal which he has kept ever since he began his stay at the estate. He only writes in it when he feels the need to.
3- Alfred has seen five generations of Solbergs since his stay at the estate. He wonders if he will live long enough to see the sixth.
4- When no one is looking, Alfred turns himself into a shadow cat. It is his favorite form.

Alfred woke up in a cold sweat. He had that nightmare again, the one where the estate was on fire. Behind him was every member of the Solberg family he ever knew, staring at him mournfully. He never understood the point of that dream. What was his old mind telling him? He could never make sense of it. Getting out of bed, he slipped his shoes on. "Be still my beating heart." He mused aloud, walking towards the door. He stopped as he noticed the door knob was glowing red. Horror growing in his mind, he placed a tremendous hand on the door. It was warm. The old man stumbled back. His old heart one startle away from giving out. The crevices of the wooden door began to glow bright yellow as Cinder began dancing around him.

Alfred woke up in a cold sweat. He had that nightmare again, the one where the estate was on fire. He reached under his pillow and pulled out his prayer beads. In the silence of his quarters, the old man prayed for the well being of every member of the estate, occasionally sobbing when he whispered the names of the younger ones.​
