Arsenio hated 8 ams with his entire being. He was not a morning person by far, much preferring the darkness of night. It didn't help that today was a Monday, and not just any Monday, a fucking rainy Monday. With a sigh he pressed into his palm with strong fingers, trying to rub the ache out. Rainy days made his old wounds act up, making sure he was miserable the entire day. He left his apartment, thankful he didn't have to deal with a roommate in this moment. One of the perks of being a college student who had a hefty income before starting. He really didn't want to interact with people today, it was one of his bad days when everything was too loud and the stimulus was too much and the throb of his bones echoed dully though his body. Unfortunately the world hated him and he had Abnormal Psychology at the unholy hour of 8 am and then a 4 hour shift at starbucks after. Luckily, he didn't have any of his friends in his classes today so he wouldn't be expected to socialize till his shift later.

His apartment was about 15 mins from campus and it was only 7:15 am so he had time if he wanted to run there instead. On the bad days, running always helped. The rhythmic movement and the sound of his feet hitting the pavement over and over helped settle him and put him into a meditative state. The ex-veteran tried to go for as many runs as he could but his busy schedule rarely left him with free time. As he closed the door behind him, he heard a ding from his phone signaling a text had gone through. Nio pulled his mobile out of his pocket and frowned down at the screen, seeing it was a text from a classmate asking for last nights homework. He ignored it, leaving them on read and switched over to the group chat sending a quick rant about the weather and dumbasses who expected to be handed everything in life. Swiftly, he shoved hiss phone back in his jacket pocket and set out on a run, pushing himself right from the bat. He lost himself in the beat of his heart and the sounds of the road beside him.

In no time he arrived on campus and slowed down to a jog. His beanie and jacket were soaked through with rain, and his hands spasmed in pain as the cold seeped in to his bones. The high from his run left, leaving him freezing and in slight pain, which was almost the usual for him. He sighed under his breath, wiping the water dripping from his face. He deftly wrung out his beanie and popped it back on his head, before walking into the science building that held his first class. Explicits left his mouth softly as he remembered there was a quiz today that he had completely forgot to study for. He had about ten minutes till class started which gave him a chance to cram before the test was given. Arsenio threw himself into a chair, ignoring his seatmate, and pulled his backpack to him thankful that he had grabbed his military knapsack since it was waterproof. For the next ten minutes he poured over his notes, trying to get as much of the info as he could through his thick head. The man looked up as his teacher finally arrived and announced to put everything away and get started on the test.

Upon finishing the test, all the students were allowed to leave. Nio was one of the first to finish and quickly fled the classroom, taking a look at his watch. He had about an hour before his shift started so that was enough time to run back home and shower and then set out. He decided to stop by the cafe on his way out and grab a cheap breakfast because god forgive he gets it at Starbucks instead and has to pay $15 dollars for a crappy overpriced sandwich. The cafe was right by the science building so he didn't have to go far. He should probably stop by the campus mailroom too and see if the camping shit he ordered came in. Arsenio grabbed his phone and scanned through his email as he walked, seeing if his professor had responded to his question on an essay for one of his classes. He was startled out of his task by a hefty impact against his chest and then the scalding burn of very hot coffee. "WHAT THE FUCK YOU JACKASS WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!!" An angry look slid onto his face as he screamed at the other person. He cursed a few more times and frantically tried to rub the coffee out before looking up at the asshole that just spilled coffee all over him. "Roman?? You fucking meathead, don't you ever look before you walk. Oh wait that requires your single braincell to be functioning and we know thats impossible. The psych major rolled his eyes at the man that was unfortanelty one of his close friends.

letty wasn't the biggest fan of rainy days. she much preferred the sun but sometimes rainy days could be relaxing. she woke up particularly happy this morning so she decided to enjoy this rainy day. after she finished getting ready for the day, the first thing she did was grab her phone and check her messages. she heard it go off when she was in the shower, the familiar tune signaling someone texted the pack group chat. she read over the messages, making the executive decision to ignore the weird dick comments made by roman and nio. she felt bad for arsenio today, knowing the rain makes him ache more than usual. she typed a quick message to the group chat, trying to bring some positivity to their morning. setting her phone down, she walked to the other side of the room to make sure her satchel was all packed and ready for class.
letty lived in her own little apartment that she was able to afford with the help of oliver and her part-time job working on the campus's mobile flower truck. her shift got cancelled today due to the weather so she had a lot of free time. she filled up her hydroflask that she painted herself, so it was covered in flowers. once that was settled, she added it to her bag and was finally ready. she was supposed to meet dylan outside her building so they could walk to their morning classes together. they did this every monday and wednesday. her phone dinged on her nightstand, reminding her to grab it. that would have been awful if i forgot my phone again. letty thought, rolling her eyes at herself. she grabbed it off her desk, seeing nio's response to her text. she smiled, always happy to go to visit him. plus with all the free time she had today she could certainly sit in starbucks and do some work. she typed her response quickly, inviting the others to join her if their schedule permitted. she then swiped out, going to her and dylan's messages. she texted her letting her know she was heading down now.
letty grabbed her umbrella and hoisted her satchel over her bag. she left her room, locking the door behind her. putting her keys in the small pocked on the outside of her bag, she gripped her phone tight as she descended down the stairs. she lived on the 3rd floor, so it wasn't long before she was in the lobby of her building. she looked out the windows, closing her eyes for a moment and letting herself tune everything out and just focus on the rain. it was very peaceful. sighing, she walked outside, opening her umbrella. she turned her head, smelling dylan. she had gotten very good at picking her packs scents out even amongst tons of other smells. she grinned, waving as the dark haired female approached her. "Good morning Dilly!"

The Outcast
;;fallon
Fallon had woken up later than she normally did after taking the longest route back to her small rundown apartment. The past few days she had this weird feeling about being watched and she didn't understand why. Her family had made it clear if she stayed away from them she'd be fine to live her life unbothered, and she had had no reason to go back after that betrayal. So it wasn't them, but who? The only other people she could think of was the hunters but she was sure she'd hear some kind of chatter about their arrival near by. At least that's what normally occurred when she was on her road trip across the country heading here over the summer. She hadn't thought she did anything that would gain their attention until she thought back to a full moon ago when she did lose her control a bit and could have been sighted in the woods. After a long night of debating about leaving she had decided she was just losing it, maybe it was because the anniversary of her outcast was coming up this weekend. In the end thought she had decided she needed a final goodbye, a last night to be sad and depressed about the whole situation with her old pack. Hopefully it would allow her to move on and get over her shitty family since obviously after a year they didn't care about her. After her breakfast, she'd go to the store and buy some cheap flowers and have a small funeral for her past life over the weekend. The weekend which just so happened to be the anniversary of her outcast in the woods near by. She just hoped this would ease her evident anxiety over feeling like she was being watched all the time.

Finally she got herself out of bed and jumped over her piles of dirty and clean laundry to the bathroom to take a hot shower before her long day of work. After her shower she threw on her clothes and dug around for her backbag and laptop. On her way out she grabbed her unfinished Celsius drink on her night stand from the night before and headed out into the rain. Thankfully she didn't live too far off campus and was quickly able to make it to grab a quick breakfast before her shift. As she neared the building she felt that feeling of being watch all over again. She quickly turned around only to see no one but random cluster of students and felt a bit better. It wasn't until she took a few more steps that she realized one of those students looked eerily familiar. She did another look and instantly felt shiver run down her spine.

One of those students was actually a newer hunter she caught wind about a few months ago before getting to the campus. She had only seen him once from afar but knew it was him, which meant the others weren't far behind. Quickly wanting to get out of the open she took a turn towards the Starbucks cafe near by. Not wanting to gain attention she speed walked all the way there. She was able to get inside without the younger hunter following her and decided to skip work and hide out in here for a while. She honestly couldn't believe she had been so stupid to think it was stress making her feel this way. She normally knew better than to not trust her instincts, but now that she knew she was being followed fallon knew she should leave. But did she really want to? She liked the cover of a large campus full of different scents and people. She wanted to make friends her age. Plust her job at the local barnes and noble might not pay well but it was fun and the smell of books was soothing. Maybe it was just a coincidence and if I lay low they will pass through. fallon thought, biting her lip as she watched students filter in and out of starbucks.
