Heyo thanks for getting this far, the bare minimum I need to accept a character is below but you can add more if it seems relevant or you want. Stuff like family and friends, Nindo, planned appearance in the future etc.
I'm happy for people to create their own jutsu an such but know I might ask for clarification or a edit if it seems to much or doesn't fit. A genin isn't busting out chidori to shoot in a laser or throwing out a rasengan

(What your character uses consistently... all students who make it as genin should know the simple things such as clone jutsu, transformation, escape ropes etc pretty sure they are all E level jutsu. At the very most you can have one C level jutsu but you should be banging about with E and D rank jutsu. I'm ok with characters being able to use more than one chakra nature but not at the start of the rp. They would be learned or practiced in game.)

(Ongaku as a young man)

Name: Ongaku Gen
Age: 13
Notable info:
Born on the 30th day of spring. Ongaku's chakra nature is Wind.
The boy often plays a instrument or practices hand seals in a effort to better his music/jutsu.
Favourite food is takoyaki.
Enjoys busking and napping but only in warm spots.

Personality:
Ongaku is not very social in class and something of a loner compared to others. Hesitant in many ways as he seems to only speak his mind when sure he is being funny or useful in some way.

Appearance:

Ongaku stands about 5ft2 with green eyes and dark hair. Generally has a blank stoic face unless training hard or hanging about with friends. He wears simple clothes usually with the Gen emblem on the back.

Likes:
Playing music, napping, warmth, sunshine, eating, winning...

Dislikes: being seen as useless, waiting at the back of lines, seeds in food, losing, off key singing/instruments.


Backstory/clan info:
Ongaku is apart of the Gen clan, a small respected group in the leaf village, thanks to their kekkei genkai many of the Gen become versatile Shinobi. As a only child Ongaku was trained and pushed into following his father's path of being a proud ninja of the leaf. Ongaku was young when training started and it wasn't enjoyable, many at his age played with other children... Ongaku was learning to control chakra and by extension his clans ability to create wire. The regiment was strict and punishing but once he could create wire different lessons would begin.

Ongaku has harsh memories of his father and himself training, while it helped to form the ninja Ongaku would eventually become the only pleasant memory the boy has of his father is when instruments were involved. At Shinsuke Gen's funeral Ongaku learned that many seemed to care about or at least respected his father as a ninja. Shinsuke was remembered as a fierce fighter and his iconic accuracy with a bow. At age seven Ongaku decided what sort of ninja he wanted to be, he would be remembered for his instrument, not his weapon...

Kekkei genkai: "Living wire"
The Gen clan are born with the unique ability to create wire from chakra, to be as thin as string or thick as cord with varying durability. Apart from improvised taijutsu the main ability of this wire is more in improvised jutsu. Like the string in a bow this wire absorbs chakra and fires it like a arrow, each chakra nature in a different way.
Fire chakra = fireball
Lighting chakra = lighting bolt etc
The Gen clan create stringed instruments and bows to utilise Genjutsu and Ninjutsu.

Best at: Genjutsu.
Demonic song jutsu is the go to in most situations.

Preferred/known Jutsu:
The basic ones all genin know, like transformation and clone jutsu etc

Body flicker jutsu- using chakra to move at high speeds momentarily.

Living wire jutsu- his clans ability to create wire from chakra. Usually coming out from the fingertips the user can determine how thin thick said wire is needed to be. A number of techniques fall under the umbrella of this jutsu, from adding a sharp whip like reach to taijutsu or to set the wire up as a trap/weapon.

Gen taijutsu bind technique- to fight in such a way that wires still attached to the users body distract and potentially bind the opponent as the battle continues.

Demonic song jutsu- genjutsu cast via playing the strings on his shamisen.
Once one hears the song they are caught in a minor illusion, the effects one feels from this genjutsu is determined by the notes played in the song. One could become drowsy, enraged, dizzy and disoriented. They might feel the pain of bug bites or being suffocated or drowned.

Demonic sound jutsu- using the strings of the shamisen with wind chakra to fire a sharp projectile of wind in a small burst, usually done so as a first strike in surprise or mixed in with the demonic song. At its current level this jutsu is much like a single shuriken or kunai being thrown.

Wire clone jutsu- making a physical copy out of wire. Much like a shadow clone though slightly more durable. Regardless this technique uses alot of chakra and Ongaku at present moment can only create one clone.
