((Just posting my Prince and Queen ahead of time, don't feel like y'all have to make Hollow characters yet/ever. Also feel free to repost your original characters here, I'll drop Ian and Avalon in here later.))
Name: Seaona Acthwick (But, most people simply call her ‘The Queen’)
Age: Around fifty-five in human years, but when her particular race of elf reaches around the age of twenty, they begin to age slower physically, even though their minds continue to age normally.

Sexuality: She’s a queen. She doesn’t need one.
Species: Elven
Species Description: The Elven people are rumored to be the second oldest species that ever inhabited the Hollow, after the Greater Demons (who have long since died off, but they were a humanoid-ish shape shifting species that thought the world was hollow, thus the name.) Because of this, a lot of respect if given to the whole species, and fifteen percent of the Hollow’s population is made up for Elven people, even though there are several different races of Elf in the Hollow. All elves practice some form of magic, from simple party tricks to full-out battle spells. They’re naturally gifted in archery (at least, some of the time) and are stereotypically skinny and elegant. The darker the hair, the more powerful the magic. The longer the hair, the higher the class, but that tradition is specific to Seaona’s kingdom.
Appearance:
Personality: Very crafty. She uses actual charm-speak a lot, but hardly ever actually needs it. She’s extremely independent and prideful, as cunning as she is dangerous. It’s almost as if she’s constantly torn between two different plots for victory. There are rumors, several of them, that the Queen is going insane. No one is sure how old she is, so her mental state has long since been declining.
Seaona is a very good actor, and often comes off as motherly and affectionate to those who don’t know her. She asks a lot of questions, and often doesn’t stop prying until she’s found what she’s looking for. She believes in the Prophecy to the extent that she will do absolutely anything to see it fulfilled in her life time.
History: She was the second born daughter to the last king and queen of Aideleson, although her older sister disappeared under mysterious circumstances when Seaona was in her late teens. She was declared heir to the throne, and ten years later, her parents were both murdered by invaders from for foreign land. Nine months later, the Prince was born, without a father to claim in. Seaona has never revealed those details, and will probably take them to her grave. (Most people believe it was one of the invaders, but Seaona has not confirmed nor denied those claims.
When she was in her prime, Seaona was a fierce warrior, her magic becoming so advance that she surpassed her teachers. She fought in many of the battles until she was nearly killed, and ordered by her advisor to leave the fighting to others. Since then, she hasn’t set foot outside of the castle, and that is most likely a factor in her growing anxiety.
Family: Other than her son, Seaona claims no one. When he was younger, the two were close, but they seem to argue constantly now, and once she slapped him across the face during a ball after he publicly accused her of lying to the royal court. They are hardly seen being friendly towards each other, and some of the maids claim that Seaona has openly admitted that she hates him for being so weak, and blames him for the war.
Other: She wears a heavy, silver monarch’s crown on her head, with the top half of her hair braided around it. The bottom half hangs all the way to her ankles, and she has it cut only once a year.

It’s rare for the males of the before mentioned species to socialize with anyone outside of their own species, but the Queen is rumored to be beautiful enough to curve anyone’s attention. This would explain one of the only two types of magic Ser possesses, which is minor water control.
-He’s part fairy. The invaders that night, at least most of them, were fair-folk and rouge pixies, continuing an age-old feud with the Elven people. Some think that the unspeakable happened that night, and that Seaona was forced to give birth to a child who came from one of her greatest enemies. It would explain his other magic, because he’s been called the ‘Flower Prince’ due to his uncanny ability to encourage plant growth/bend them to his will.
-Very, very few people think that he’s human, and that Seaona had a lover from the world our group is coming from. However, very few humans have ever come to the Hollow, and there wasn’t any mention of one around the time of Ser’s conception, so this one is the most unlikely. Also, it doesn’t explain his very specific magic, or the coat that he’s always wearing.

As he grew up, he’s mellowed out a bit, but he still has small uncontrollable fits of rage. Because of the rumors that lay around him and his mother, he hasn’t been exposed to very many friendly faces, not anyone who didn’t want something from him, anyways. Because of this, he is extremely secretive and keeps up a dull and uncaring façade to protect himself, but if you try just a little bit to be nice to him and get to know him... He’s the literal sweetest thing in the whole Hollow. He loves, loves, loves flowers and has SO MANY potted plants in his room, he feeds birds on his balcony and he reads to the refugee children, and goes around doing damage control for his mother.
He's also extremely scared, because his magic is so weak and useless that he’s close to being declared magic-less, which could lead to him being disowned and one of the noble families taking over. Ser cares about his kingdom, he loves it. He’s extremely insecure about all the rumors that surround him constantly, and he hates knowing that everywhere he goes, an enemy is waiting for him. He just wants to be able to trust people and not to constantly need to have his guard up.

However, the king of his future bride made an offer- A cure for Ser, in return for him becoming the fiancé of his infant daughter, whose mother had passed during childbirth. All Ser remembers of the months following receiving the cure is excruciating pain, and then sitting in a wheelchair in the garden, and never wanting to go inside again. For a while, he was happy. He terrorized the castle staff, who were all fond of him, and made friends with the children of other noble families, attending tutoring with them. However, around the age of ten, while all his friends were developing magic, Ser didn’t. It wasn’t until he was fifteen that he discovered the little tricks he could do with plants, and a year later, his abilities concerning water. From ten up, Ser was ridiculed and became an outcast within his own castle, and when he was twelve, he was granted a private tutor.
Ser was thirteen when he went on his first trip outside of the city walls, into the nearby forest. He was shot through the chest “accidentally” by one of the guards, and would have died if it weren’t for the unicorn that sacrificed its life to heal him. When Ser recovered, and learned that his hunting team had killed the animal that has saved him, he demanded a law be passed to protect the creatures. However, Ser still hunts, because it’s the only way he can get out of the castle. When he was fourteen, he tried to run away and was caught. To humiliate and punish him, his mother had cut his then waist-long hair off, and Ser had decided he liked it- He’s kept it short ever since.
Family: Other than his mother, Ser doesn’t have any relatives. He often wonders about his father, but he’s given up on ever knowing. He wishes that his relationship with his mother were different, but ever since he’s been relatively healthy, she’s become more and more aggressive with him.
Other: Ser has walked with a slight limp since after he ran away, supposedly due to badly breaking his leg. He carries around a gold-colored flask and is often seen drinking from it, although no one has ever seen him refill it. He hates violence, and can barely stand hunting or training. Because of being the only heir and because he’s so weak, it’s unlikely that Ser will ever see battle- Which is good, because he once got into a VERY bad and VERY loud argument with his mother about his views on ending lives. (Which were fairly simple, you shouldn’t.) Please protect him.
