In the Small Town of Calico, California. Strange things happen on a fairly regular basis. The town sits upon a layline, a place where earth and hell Are so close they almost blend together. Due to this otherworldly entities leak into our world. The only thing that stands between them and utter devastation is The Hell breaker club, a group of highschool students who formed a school club to fight the Otherworldly beings. Due to the close proximity of the dimensions, some people manifest the ability to enter what's called Limbo, a space between the two dimensions. In limbo a persons inner most power comes to the surface and they become powerful enough to fight these otherworldly beings.

Yet something seems to be going wrong. Recently the members of the Hell Breakers have been going missing. The monsters of the otherworld have increased in both numbers and power. Can the hell breakers get to the bottom of this? Or is the Layline going to fall into chaos, and bring the rest of earth with it?

(Hey guys this Roleplay is very similar to The bleach series, except the concept of shinigami has been replaced with Limbo. In order to use your powers you go into limbo and your soul becomes what your character believes they are in their heart. Powers are then granted accordingly. I know this is a bit convoluted so if there are any questions feel free to ask and I'll answer them. I'll be uploading a sample character soon enough.)​

Personality: Matthew is a very upstanding and polite young man, valuing integrity and kindness. He is quite intelligent, having almost straight A's and is pretty good on the track team. He is a stick in the mud at times, though, rarely catching on to certain social cues and sometimes flat out refusing to do illegal activities even if they are for the greater good. He can also have delusions of grandeur, believing himself to be the bastion of goodness and justice.

History: Born to a police officer, Matthew was always a good, upstanding young man, getting good grades and excelling in track. He discovered Limbo when he was fifteen, and soon joined the Hell Breakers to help save people.
Likes: Rock music, cheeseburgers, reading, running.
Dislikes:Bees, tight, enclosed places.

Limbo Form- The form of a knight in silver armor, as he views himself as a champion of justice and good.

Soul Gear- A longsword he calls Justice.

1- Bastion of Light:
Matthew creates a giant shield that covers a 20x20 area, and is almost indestructible.
2-City on the Hill:
Matthew heals his allies by focusing positive energy into them. Can work on up to five people.
3-Light Blade:
He channels soul energy into his blade, swinging it to cause a streak of light to kill several enemies.
Ultimate- Champion of Justice:
Matthew channels all his power outward in a shockwave of energy, killing most lesser demons instantly. This is a desperation attack, as it can tire him out a lot, and he is severely weakened afterwards.

Personality: Allan is a bit of an asshole, he is condensing, arrogant, and nonchalant about nearly everything. There are three things he seems to care about, his younger siblings, his baseball career, and of course killing monsters. Though he does have a few redeeming qualities. One of which being his Independence, this is a man who truly needs nobody. So if you find yourself in his company it's because he wants you there.

History: Allan has spent his entire life in Calico. He was never the kind of kid who would hang with friends or do much of anything that wasn't baseball. The sport had always been his whole life, so it was pretty easy to guess what he would become when he first went to Limbo. He was one of the founding members of Calico high school's hell breakers club and still helps in high class hunts as an illumni member. Yet he does have his plate full more often than not with his newly aquired major league career.

Likes: Baseball, Hunting things, The hell breakers, being left alone.

Dislikes: Fans, blind devotion, monsters, most everybody.

Soul Gear- Steel Bat/Slugger


Signature move- Fast ball- Allan focuses his souls energy into a ball of the same proportions as a normal baseball. He can hurl this ball faster than the speed of sound hence the name "Fastball."
Skill set.
1- Bunt- Blocking an attack with his bat Allan can reflect the attack back on it's user.
2- Loaded Bases- by selecting a target and pumping his feet with his soul energy, he can rush to the target at mind boggling speeds. This target can be anything from an enemy or ally, to just a point on the battlefield (similar to the Flash step from bleach)
3- Safe!!!- By manifesting a giant catchers mitt Allan can intercept most attacks, this mitt can be summoned in front of his allies allowing him to block for them even from a distance.
Ultimate- Home Run-
A simple attack yet tremendously effective, by striking a target he can launch it with enough speed to break the sound barrier and ignite it. The targeted being won't stop moving, until it leaves his visual range.
Additional information: Lives alone, drives a Very loud black 68 Mustang.​

On a side note there are a few traits that all hell breakers have that I forgot to cover so here they are.

1. All hell breakers can sense what's called Soul power & Dark power. Soul power is what any other Hellbreaker has. Dark power is what demons and otherworldly beings have.

2. Soul power governs a hellbreakers power, speed, and overall potency. That said soul power isn't a flawless way to tell ones potential. Someone with a lower soul power can beat someone with a higher one if they are tenacious enough.

3. The risk of being a Hellbreaker is pretty severe. Hellbreakers who are killed in limbo always wind up going to hell and eventually becoming a powerful demon known as a world breaker.

Antoinette is a very out-spoken person and she states her thoughts and opinions often. She tries to selfless within reason and she can be found giving other students some her school supplies or lunch and helping the teachers when she can. Antoinette believes that love can solve all things and therefore she is very compassionate and has studied many things so others won't be left out or unknowingly hurt by her own or someone else's ignorance.

History
Antoinette was abused by her parents for a very long time. They would beat her when they felt like, go days without feeding, throw her into closets like she was Carrie, even hit her with the car at one point. This young woman's childhood was hell until the abuse was reported by one of the neighbors. Antoinette was quickly patched up and put into a foster home that showed nothing but love. She was amazed at how these people she had just met, people she never knew, could just show her unconditional love and compassion. This change led Antoinette to change her views on the world; Making her want to help the less fortunate in any way she could. Now she can always be seen helping others, volunteering, and spreading the love.

Signature move- Lost Love: This move is just a teleport to the last bullet she has shot. She can teleport to friends and allies but only if she has marked them with a piece of her soul energy.

1- Gun Change: Nettie puts her pistols together transforming them into a different form
2- Love Field: A passive skill that affects Nettie and her allies. It heals everyone within 9 meters around her and depending on their relationship the better the healing.Nettie can focus this into one person but she has to actively think about rather than the usual passive.
3- Love Bomb: Nettie summons a frag grenade
Ultimate- All Is Fair In Love And War: Nettie picks a lover and an Ex. Nettie picks a lover by delivering a single kiss to a target and they recieve a portion of her Soul Power. If her 'Lover' is fighting her 'Ex' then whatever damage the 'Ex' receives from the 'Lover' is doubled and Vice Versa.

History: Follan was born as the only child in his family. Growing up, Follan had always hung around his mother rather then his father, however when he turnt seven years old, his parents had divorced. His father had manged to win custody over him. Since then,Fallon has grown to be rather bitter and had gotten in alot of troblue. Once his father had gotten remarried, His life just went downhill

Personality: If you took the time to look up the word delinquent in the dictionary you’d find the definition of delinquent. Which perfectly fits Seung she is the perfect image of a delinquent in every way from her manner of speaking to her ideals. Seung will do whatever she can to look as cool as possible in front of others never seeming to get a hold of her desire to show off. Which can land her in the middle of trouble most of the time she’s also incredibly rash and quick to punch first and ask questions later. Never one to sit down and talk things over Seung rarely has a plan of action and would prefer to just swing her fist like a berserker. Or so most would think seeing her fight truth be told Seung thinks more than most give her credit for. Granted she does run head first into fights but not without also thinking of how she could cheat her way to victory. That’s another thing about Seung she has no problem fighting dirty her motto for fights is always the same, “Fights ain’t fair I’ll throw a chair.” In most cases she does indeed throw a chair and most likely someone is in said chair. Despite how rough around the edges she seems Seung has a strong sense of companionship and would never betray or abandon a friend. In fact if you ever mess with one of her friends, well may god have mercy on your soul.


History: A quiet child in her younger years Seung grew up bored out of her mind in a small town in South Korea. When she was in her first years of middle school she moved to America where she first became familiar with the idea of a bully. A very mean girl would make fun of and push Seung around seeing as no one was going to help her Seung realized she had to take matters into her own hands. Her first fight ended in a crushing loss as she didn’t account for the girl’s friends jumping in to gang up on her. Her second fight though went far better considering Seung brought along a lead pipe to help her. Afterwards word spread that Seung had beaten four girls with a lead pipe and she was suspended from school and sent to a week in a juvenile correction center. After getting out Seung gave up her quiet life as she had gotten taste of something more the taste of a fight. Seung began to get in more and more fights making a name for herself it was in her final year of middle school that she first entered Limbo. After entering high school she joined a club called the Hell Breakers, despite barely showing up to classes or even school for that matter Seung never missing a meeting.

Dislikes: Sour drinks, school, math, getting told what to do, losing a fight

Limbo Form-

Soul Gear- Lead Pipe called Skull Cracker

Signature move- Cheater’s Eye- Seung is able to spot the perfect moment for a dirty blow whether she is able to use said dirty blow is up to what she does.

Skill set.

1- Pocket Sand!- Throwing out a large amount of sand in a four foot cone that scatters blinding anyone in it’s radius opening them up for the perfect sneak attack.

2- A Delinquents Pride- The more damage Seung takes the more energy she builds up this energy can be either used for a big attack or be transferred to an ally via a good slap on the back.

3- Noble Steed Pegasus- Seung summons a flying motorcycle that can move at quick speeds and shoot large flames from its exhaust pipe.

Ultimate- Knuckle Duster!- A punch chalk full of all the built up energy Seung saved from her Delinquent's Pride the more energy she had saved up the more damage the attack does. If she misses though then she has to start from scratch.


Additional information: She’s easily talked into things by people she finds cute/attractive.

Personality: Siv is calm, collected young man. He doesn't cause problems, behaves nicely and focuses on his studies. He isn't star of the class, but his grades are on the top quarter. Overall, he is what teachers would describe as model student. Besides being goody two shoes, he spends his free time on library or the club room, absorbed in his own worlds. While superficially chosen the path of science, his secret passion is occult and supernatural, things that can't or haven't yet been explained by proof and numbers.

History: Nilsson discovered Limbo while tempering with old occult books he had purchased from antiquarian. Did the books trigger his dimensional shift or were it just mere coincident, may never clear, but luckily members of Hell Breakers club saved him on his first encounter with Demons. During that time he had already joined the Science club and didn't want to leave it behind, despite the whole new world opening before his eyes. It wasn't till the following year when the Science clubs President graduated and Nilsson succeeded him that he approached the Hell Breakers, filled with desire to know more of the Limbo.

Likes: Science, occult, the prism effect on rain drops after the rain.

Daisy has been described by many as an "innocent idiot". Her lack of common sense has been a major trademark for almost her entire life. She is always clumsy, tends to forget stuff, and is completely oblivious to other's feelings. She looks at everything in a positive light, a telltale sign of her optimism. Aside from being a total idiot, she is willing to help others and will always put up a bright smile on her face no matter the situation. Also, she tends to get amazed by even the most simple things.

History:
Ever since her birth, she was already diagnosed with mild autism and is already, but impossibly, rendered incapable of showing negative emotions. She was frequently bullied throughout her childhood, but she didn't even care as long as she is "friends" with them. Upon reaching high school, she saw a couple of bullies harassing an innocent girl. Something snapped from the inside which somehow enables her to get angry for the first time. It is said that her anger was able to "turn the tables against her bullies". Ever since then, her teenage life became extraordinary, but overtime, she felt bored with it. When she heard about the Hell Breakers, she thought that they were a heavy metal band, and without even knowing about it, she "joins" them.

2-Shadow of Despair-Casts a shadow underneath an opponent and a random object will fall onto it.
3-Steamboat Willie-Summons a large steamboat by the same name which runs over opponents.

Daisy shows her anger, creating a scary dark aura that makes her foes cower in fear, thus leaving them open for attack. After using it however, she'll fall unconscious unless woken up.

Personality: Tom acts very kind and respectful. He tries most of the time to keep his distance from people to make sure that no one sees what he's really like. In reality, he is very angry in putting up this facade. The people around him are annoying. And he never notice how irritating that teacher's voice was before. With that said, most of the time we will hold it inside and not say anything about it.

History: Tom has lived a relatively normal life. He has loving parents and goes to a decent school. What could a person be mad about. A lot apparently. His parents, although loving, are very demanding and some of the students at his school just annoy him. Fortunately for him, he found out about a group which hunt otherworldly beings. The caught his attention as a good way to relive stress. Because what's more cathartic than killing evil things.
Likes: Being alone, and silence

Signature move- Demonic Rage, he is fueled with rage and charges into whatever fight there is.
Skill set
1- Oni mask- He switches his mask with a oni mask making him even more angry. This allows him not to be hurt (still damaged though) by attacks.
2- Blood Drain- Muramasa absorbs the blood of near by dead enemies. This makes Muramasa sharper.
3- Muramasa's Rage- Muramasa demands more blood making it's wielder go into a blood rage until it is stratified.
Ultimate- Every Last Drop- he can release all the blood Muramasa his collected to make it angry, causing it to be sharper and do a barrage of sword swings.
