  SOCIABLE - River has never been this shy silent girl. Having an older brother who is in the band does that to you. As a kid, she followed Jax everywhere. She developed into a social butterfly, never says no to a good party and has no problem talking to people whom she doesn’t know.
  
  DETERMINED - it applies to anything. Once River sets her mind on something, there is no other way. She works until she gets what she wants. But everytime, whether it’s important or just some of her whimsies, it’s earned.
  
  INDEPENDENT - whatever it takes, River does everything alone. Because she can handle it! No one is to tell her what to do and order her around. (Even though her brother tries a lot, he calls it being protective *rolls eyes*)

  There is nothing sweeter than a full family, mommy, daddy, big bro and lil sis. The Morranos were exactly that. Jackson was always the big brother to their little princess Angelica (not changing her name until later) and being the youngest member of the family, she was the sweetheart. Surprisingly, River was never spoiled. Ever since she could remember, they were one big happy family. There was not much to tell, they were pretty generic. Your typical suburban family. Until one day.
  
  

  teenage years

  River would always remember the day when the four became five. Despite not being spoiled or anything, she was used to a certain amount of attention and when their cousin came to live with them, for whatever reason like her parents were shit or something, the attention shifted. It was back then when River was not this version of herself but the pink popular girl, cheerleader and the high school princess with perfectly brushed blonde locks and exquisite wardrobe. A complete opposite of her brother who was already the street rat. The two had the perfect relationship. They teased the hell out of each other, argued like normal siblings but River loved him very much. And since there was an extra person in their household now and her parents focused mostly on dear poor cousin Mila and her inclusion, River and Jax grew even closer. Until the next blow.
  
  River came home from school, she was in the best mood as things were going great for her. She’s just made the captain of the cheer squad and was on cloud nine. But it all changed when she came home and saw her mom at the kitchen table, her face was traced with mascara tears and she was absolutely broken. River rushed to her and her heart skipped a beat. What was this about? Did something happen to dad? Or to Jax? “No, River, love, they are both okay. But we are not family anymore.” River remembered this sentence forever. It was the introduction to what broke her heart. Her father was having an affair with a significantly younger woman and their parents were getting a divorce. That was two years ago.
  
  

  entering adulthood

  River couldn’t get over the fact that her parents were getting a divorce. In protest, she went and got her first tattoo. It hurt like hell, she went and got drunk on cheap vodka on a children’s playground right after that and ended up so wasted that she had to call Jax to come and pick her up because the girl couldn’t even see straight. Valid reason for sure. But that was just the first step for her to go down to becoming the real River Montana she was today. When Jax found her, she was sitting on the swing, barely conscious, threw up a few times and couldn’t even recognize her own brother when he came.
  
  Getting the second tattoo and then the third, River realized that she needed that change. But with that ink, she was thrown out from the cheerleading squad. And from her little popular clique as well. Princesses apparently didn’t wear tattoos. Another blow to her perfect little world. That was the day she got her chest dermals. It hurt like hell, she went and got drunk right after that and ended up so wasted that she had to call Jax to come and pick her up because the girl couldn’t even see straight. Again. Ended up on the same playground, the same swing. Again. But from that moment on, she stopped caring about what the fuck people though. River changer herself completely, from head to toes. She picked up smoking and started to hang out with her brother and his group of friends more more. It was only later that she realized it was not just a group of friends but a real gang. The Harbingers.
  
  Gradually, with tattoos, piercings and cigarettes adding up, River became this girl who would never pass for a cheerleader or a Prom Queen. But she realized this was definitely who she needed to be, what she needed to do. Parents begged her to wake up, to go to college, to do something with her life but River was already decided. All she did was go through a few mixology courses and got a job at a local bar, belonging to the Hrbingers, just to earn some money but every free moment, she hung out with her new group, flirted with the boys ever so often, usually meaning it as an innocent encounter. Where Angelica Morrano died, River Montana was born like a phoenix from the ashes, initiated into the Harbingers and hanging out with the gang ever since, not looking back, not even at her own family. As far as she was concerned, she had a new family now.

    Stephania Torrero was born to two middle-class parents in sunny southern California. Shortly after her birth, the family decided to move to the coast to begin a new life. Her father, Leo, worked as a plumber while her mother, Valentina, was a caretaker at a local nursing home. Stevie was the oldest of three, with two younger, brothers named Mateo and Luca. They were three and five years younger than Stevie and looked up to her as a role model. Stevie was usually in charge of taking care of the boys while her parents were away at work. But she didn't really mind, they were sweethearts after all. Growing up was fairly standard for Stephania. They lived in a modest home, never really went without the necessities, and overall had a happy life. To be honest, Stevie was happy, and couldn't complain.

    When Stephania was 17 and a junior in high school, she and one of her close friends decided to go to a party at a senior's house. It was supposed to be just a typical high school party with under-aged drinking, dancing, and making out. But that party was anything but typical for Stevie. While taking a break for fresh air outside away from the party, she was approached by someone she could only describe as devilishly handsome. His name was Clark, and he was the type of bad boy most high school girls are attracted to. With brunette hair, piercings, and tattoos, the 20-year-old male, who was solely at the party from the town he usually lived in to deliver drugs, intrigued Stevie.
    
    They began to talk, had a few laughs, and ultimately seemed to share a connection. Stephania gave Clark her number, and it all seemed to be like a cheesy meet-cute from a romantic comedy. What started as simply texting back and forth developed into hanging out and eventually dating. But Clark had secrets that he was hiding from Stevie, dark secrets. When Stevie was 18 and graduated from high school, she decided to take a job as a receptionist while taking online and night classes to become a nurse. Wanting to take on the full adult experience, she moved out of her parents' home and into an apartment with Clark. That was the biggest mistake she ever made.

    Stevie had no idea that Clark was a member of the Harbingers until they moved in together. She was a bit afraid of the gang world but tagged along anyway. It was through Clark that she met the boss and many other Harbinger members. Somewhere along the way, Stephania both graduated with her nursing degree and joined the gang. That was when it all started. What was at first just drunken fits of rage, yelling, and breaking things eventually turned into physical slaps and hits that would leave bruises. Clark was ruthless against Stevie, and she felt so trapped. The last straw for Stevie was one dark night when Clark held her against the wall by her throat and drew two slash marks across her skin with his blade.
    
    That evening, after Clark passed out from all the booze, Stevie took that same blade and ended Clark's life. It was messy, bloody, and at the end of it all, Stevie had no idea what to do. She had no one left to call, at least that's what she told herself. The Harbingers weren't blind to what Clark was doing to her, but no one really acted as most were afraid of him. She dragged his body to the dark alley and, in the morning, he was found. Investigators immediately attributed his violent death to gang violence, given his priors. The Harbingers tried to retaliate, thinking it to be another gang's fault. But even they couldn't pin down the real culprit. And so, it was never traced back to Stevie.. Fast forward a few years, and Stevie couldn't bring herself to leave the Harbingers behind. She had grown attached, maternal even, to many of the members, and wanted to protect them from the same pain she had gone through.

  Kyler had always belonged to the Harbingers. Born and raised. His father was one of the first members and his mother was his all time old lady. Frank Monaghan was one of the very few guys who actually never cheated on his girl. Once they got together, it was for life. And that’s how Kyler was born. Into a joyful small family. The reason? As very few men in the gang, not only was Frank a believer, he used to work as a preacher before joining.
  
  Kyler was raised to become a member one day and ever since he could remember, his dad was riding the bike with him. Until Kyle was old enough to get his own steel horse. He was thriving, and couldn't have wanted for a happier childhood. He knew all members by their names when he was five and everyone knew little Kyle, Frank’s son, as he stumbled around on his short legs.

  Until one day. Kyler was 17 when it happened. His parents celebrated the 35th anniversary of their marriage and decided to go for a ride to the place where Frank proposed to Marylin. Kyle stayed at home, learning how to do a few minor fixes on his bike and no one knew anything. But when his parents didn’t come home that night, he became restless. Sure, they sometimes did that, left for a few days, lovebirds they were. Though they usually let him know. But when it was already a few days, Kyle knew something had to go wrong. He asked a few friends to ride with him to the place where his parents had left and his world changed forever.
  
  Kyler found them. Or rather, he found their bloody corpses. He cried, then yelled, screamed, punched everything around him, then cried again. And when there were no more tears for him to cry, he got angry. It took four guys to finally put him down and the gang leader himself to explain why going after his parents’ murderers was not the greatest idea. Kyle swore revenge, that was for sure. But the leader contained him and convinced him to wait until the time was right. Waiting was something Kyle never did but since the leader himself asked him to do so, he waited. And the time came indeed when the Harbingers pulled their own attack and no matter who the bastards were, Kyler went through their place like a god of revenge, cutting down everyone who came in his way. Yes, he cut them, not shot. They didn’t deserve quick death.
  
  Ever since that day, Kyler was not the same. His parents died in a forceful way, two people who didn't deserve it. And their son now deemed the world the most horrible place. No matter that his dad was leading him to God his whole life, the second Kyle found out they were dead, he denied the God who allowed this to happen. He didn't need him or his teachings. Instead, he started to believe in the power of his own fists. The leader noticed Kyle was spiraling and as the great leader he was, he took the boy under his wing, making sure Kyle always walked the straight path.
  
  

  entering adulthood

  Having way too much unused rage though, Kyler started to look for ways how to vent. That was how his underground pit career began. To this day, he visits those illegal matches and he already managed to make a name for himself there. During the day, he was a model Harbinger, the right hand man of the leader, at night, he was the Mad Dog, a man too wild to be tamed by anyone and anything so the best bet was to let him out and allow his fists to get him the sweet relief he needed and craved only to sink back into darkness once the euphoria of his victory receded.

    Griffin was born to a 19-year-old woman who had recently moved from Italy to the bustling city of New York. In the first year of living on her own in a foreign country, his mother got mixed up in the wrong crowds. It's safe to say that Grif was anything but planned. Because his father denied that Griffin was actually his son, he didn't really have a father figure or positive male role model for a good chunk of his childhood. His mother worked as a waitress and took night school paralegal classes. So Grif had to grow up fairly quickly. Before he even reached double digits in age, he was already staying at home by himself, taking care of the house, and cooking for his mom and him. He learned responsibility quickly and, for that reason, never was super upset about the way his childhood turned out.
    
    When Griffin was about 11 years old, his mother met a kind businessman from Georgia during a meeting with the law group she worked for as a paralegal. The two had immediate chemistry and began dating. Shortly thereafter, the businessman opened up a new branch of his business in NYC to be closer to Grif's mother and Grif. A few months into dating, Griffin met the businessman for the first time, and they immediately bonded. The businessman took on a fatherly role and taught Grif about things like fixing cars, cooking, sports, music, hunting, and even how to talk to girls. They were fast friends, and Griffin looked up to the man. Within that same year, the businessman became Griffin's stepfather.

    The new family moved into a nice apartment in a safer part of town. Griffin was able to start drum lessons and go to a more prestigious school. He finally had someone he could call "Dad." It felt like they had finally caught some luck in their lives. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. During Grif's final semester in high school, his mother confessed that she had been having an affair with her boss for a couple of years. Though Griffin's parents tried to make their marriage work, the distrust Griffin's stepfather felt and the lack of love Grif's mother experienced couldn't be mended. And so they decided to separate.

    Not wanting to get caught up in any of the divorce drama that was sure to come, Griffin left after graduating high school to start his own journey by working on cars. He was relatively good at it, and found a stable job. He had gotten used to being alone, believing that he would never have the family that others had. Somewhere along the way, he met the Harbingers while fixing up one of their cars, and realized they might actually be the family he was looking for. It wasn't long before he was invited to join the brotherhood that was the Harbingers as a member, mechanic, and eventually sharpshooter. He has since worked his way up to be a patched member. Griffin's specialties within the gang are mechanic work, gunsmithing, and shooting. He has quite a good aim and doesn't usually miss unless he wants to. So, despite his general good personality, you don't want to get on his bad side.
